As police raid the homes of peaceful activists for Facebook posts critical of the state, rampant illegal threats to murder children and kill people go unchecked and essentially ignored by the social media giant.

As we seem to be inching ever closer to World War 3, heated rhetoric and threats between nations are becoming everyday occurrences. Israel has threatened to strike Russian systems in Syria after it was threatened with “catastrophic consequences” if it does.
Russia will send advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missiles to Bashar al-Assad, officials said Monday, warning Israel not to attack the new air defense systems or suffer “catastrophic consequences.” But Israel, in turn, threatened to strike those very systems anyway. Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday that Israel may strike the Russian-made S-300 anti-aircraft defense systems in Syria if they are used against Israel, according to Haaretz.
As of now, all of the threats appear to be nothing more than heated rhetoric as neither side has made a move to actually strike the other. “One thing should be clear – if someone fires on our planes, we will destroy them,” Lieberman said in an interview with the Israeli website Ynet. “What’s important to us is that the weapons defense systems that the Russians transfer to Syria are not used against us. If they are used against us, we will act against them.”
Lieberman’s comments come a day after senior Russian officials told the Kommersant newspaper that Russia is expected to provide Assad’s government with S-300 anti-aircraft defense systems very soon. If Israel attacks the new air defense systems, then it will suffer “catastrophic consequences,” the officials said. The S-300 PMU-2 “Favorite” version of the anti-aircraft systems will be provided to the Syrians for free and very soon, the Kommersant reported.
Lieberman also said that the S-300 are already being operated on Syrian soil, though they are only being used by the Russians and not being employed against Israel. Yet he still found it necessary to make the threats to strike. Lieberman added that Israel will not allow an Iranian foothold in Syria, saying that this is the principle guiding Israel. “If someone fires on us, we will respond. Let there be no doubt, it doesn’t matter what system – S-300, S-700 or something else.”
Russian air defense systems have, in fact, been deployed in Syria for years. Syria’s air defenses are Russian made, and Israel has struck them several times since the downing of its F-16 jet in February. The Wall Street Journal revealed that Israeli military targeted a Russian-made Tor advanced air-defense system after Iran deployed it to the T4 base in Syria earlier this month. In addition, Russia has deployed their own S-400 systems to protect its soldiers deployed in Latakia.
President Donald Trump seemed so sure of himself yesterday when tweeting that Russia should “get ready” for a strike against Syria. He appears to now be backpedaling some, and it’s a small sign that just maybe we won’t go to war over what’s shaping up to be a false flag attack.
He did post a tweet this morning, in typical confrontational fashion, saying he “never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”

Trump may have missed his window for getting any “thank yous” as he almost singlehandedly stoked the fears of a third world war with his threatening tweet yesterday. The United States is said to still be considering a military response over a reported chemical weapons attack on the rebel enclave of Douma on April 7.
Syrian President Bashar Assad has been accused of being behind the purported incident, but the US said it also holds Russia responsible for failing to prevent Assad from conducting the alleged attack. White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday Trump “holds Syria and Russia responsible for this chemical weapons attack,” and said, “all options are on the table.”
According to RT, earlier this week, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, correctly pointed out that the alleged incident was beneficial only to the militants. Russian military specialists have already visited the site and said they found no signs of a chemical attack or any victims. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the UN’s chemical weapons watchdog, said back in June 2014 that all stockpiles of such material had been removed from the country.

Russia responded to Trump’s threat by calling on common sense to prevail. “We do not participate in Twitter diplomacy,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said. “We support serious approaches. We continue to believe that it is important not to take steps that could harm an already-fragile situation.“
But the beating of war drums continues, although this may be a sign that the US is willing to back off some.
China’s threat to Taiwan is ratcheting up fears of a third world war. A comment by the Chinese government saying they will “never tolerate Taiwanese independence” has prompted fears an all-out invasion is imminent.
The chilling threat was made by Premier Li Keqiang as top Chinese officials met in Beijing for the annual meeting of parliament on Monday. “We will never tolerate any separatist schemes or activities for Taiwan independence,” Li Keqiang said. He also stated that China will promote the peaceful growth of relations across the Taiwan Strait and “advance China’s peaceful reunification. We will remain firm in safeguarding China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and will never tolerate any separatist schemes or activities for Taiwan independence.”
According to The Daily Star, China has been infuriated over plans made by the US to strengthen ties between Washington and Taipei. The plans would allow Taiwan bosses to enter the US “under respectful conditions” and meet their American counterparts. Officials had already told Taiwan on Friday the country would only get burnt if they relied on the US, adding to the warnings from state media about the risk of war.
Beijing considers democratic Taiwan to be a wayward province and integral part of “one China”, ineligible for state-to-state relations and has never renounced the use of force to bring the island under its control. China’s hostility towards Taiwan has risen since the election to president of Tsai Ing-wen from the pro-independence Democratic Progressive Party in 2016.
Global tensions have continued to increase in recent years, with many signaling China as the country to watch. Fears heightened as China’s Communist dictator Xi Jinping just gave himself the go-ahead to remain in power for as long as he wants. There are about 3,000 delegates to China’s National People’s Congress, and theoretically, they can vote any way they want. But in its history, it has never vetoed a proposal by China’s Communist Party.
There is already massive dissent online because of Xi’s power grab, and China’s censors are working hard to squash it. They temporarily (although nothing is as permanent as a tempory government edict) banned the use of the phrases “personality cult” and “my emperor,” and also references to Winnie the Pooh; a character long used to mock Xi Jinping based on an apparent resemblance. The letter ‘N’ has also been banned by the Chinese government because of it’s reference to the number two, signaling two terms in office. But they Chinese have kindly lifted the ban on the letter as of Monday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said the United States is planning to deploy five cruisers and 30 destroyers near the Russian border. Should the US make the mistake of attacking Russia, however small the attack may be, Putin will launch nuclear weapons.
Putin’s warning came during a state of the nation address delivered by the Russian president on Thursday, in which he presented a number of new advanced strategic weapon systems. He said he would render all anti-missile capabilities that the US currently has powerless with his new and advanced weapon systems.
“We are greatly concerned by some parts of the new nuclear posture, which reduces the benchmark for the use of nuclear weapons. Whatever soothing words one may try to use behind closed doors, we can read what was written. And it says that these weapons can be used in response to a conventional attack or even a cyber-threat,” he said.
“Our nuclear doctrine says Russia reserves the right to use nuclear weapons only in response to a nuclear attack or an attack with other weapons of mass destruction against her or her allies, or a conventional attack against us that threatens the very existence of the state.”
“It is my duty to state this: Any use of nuclear weapons against Russia or its allies, be it small-scale, medium-scale or any other scale, will be treated as a nuclear attack on our country. The response will be instant and with all the relevant consequences,” Putin warned. –RT
A nuclear war is not something to take lightly. It would end civilization as we know it. Russian Lieutenant General Evgeny Buzhinsky told RT that by training its European allies to use their nuclear arms, the US is moving towards an atomic war with Russia, forgetting that it would mean the end of the human civilization. The US is also attempting to make a “show of force” against Russia by sending ships to the Black Sea.

Americans are too busy being bombarded by gun control rhetoric and propaganda in the mainstream media to even realize that the US is posturing for a nuclear war with another nuclear superpower. “We’re rolling the dice with World War 3. It’s nothing new – another YouTuber has been threatened with a ban for saying things that YouTube dislikes. Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, has recently released an alarming video declaring he’s going to “water down” his political commentary to avoid being silenced.
Adams runs the website NaturalNews.com and has often been critical of the government and the pharmaceutical industry, prompting YouTube to threaten to silence him. In his video, titled Sobering Health Ranger ANNOUNCEMENT For YouTube Fans, Adams details just how bad censorship in America has become.
Adams’ video comes on the heels of Twitter’s “purge” of non-leftist accounts, leading many to believe social media is intentionally silencing dissenting views. The death of free speech is imminent.
“Ok, major announcement for the YouTube channel,” Adams says to begin his video. “The Health Ranger YouTube channel will no longer be able to post many politically oriented commentary podcasts because YouTube threatened to shut down the channel if we continue to expose FBI corruption, the fake science lab of the FBI, fake race crime hoaxes, or any other content that the fragile snowflake leftists do no like.”
This should concern everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Free speech shouldn’t be up for debate, and humans should be willing to hear an opposing point of view. Being offended isn’t an option. You either use your free speech to say something back or ignore the speech you dislike (like you do with government corruption and democrats killing kids overseas).
“It’s pretty obvious at this point that YouTube censors or moderators are very very biased people and very psychologically fragile people, beause they openly allow death threats against President Trump, right? They openly allow death threats against the FCC Commissioner; Pai is his name. They openly allow all kinds of death threats or bullying aginst Christians or against heterosexuals or against white males in particular. This is openly allowed all over YouTube. But if you’re a conservative speaker you’re going to be censored.”
Adams also clearly states he isn’t just conservative. He considers himself a “free thinker.” He says he often holds views that are libertarian, progressive, and conservative.
“As a result [of censorship by YouTube] the Health Ranger channel will have to be, sadly, watered down on YouTube to be just the positive commentary…if that’s what you wanna hear, if that’s your life, that, you don’t want reality, you don’t want intelligent commentary…except Trump; Trump is horrible [sarcasm can be heard in the video], than that’s YouTube.”
But Adams does have some good news amidst YouTube’s threats of censorship.
“We are very close now to finishing our own new video system or video hosting system, which will be open to other voices that are being censored including conservative voices, and progressive voices, and libertarian voices. It is in essence competeing with YouTube, but of course, more from an independent media point of view. And we’re close to launching this.”
Although Adams doesn’t have a domain name for the new site yet, he says anyone can go there to hear criticism of the government that is often shut down. Plus he plans on posting more “natural health” and nutrition videos which could be a huge benefit to others.
YouTube can have whatever policy they want, the problem is that they are not applying their rules equally across the board.
Censorship is the antithesis of freedom.
The headline reads “Ex-Dupont police officer sentenced to prison for corruption of minor” but former Dupont Borough police officer, David Turkos, 44, will likely never spend an entire day inside of a prison cell for raping two young boys. Judge Michael T. Vough sentenced Turkos for 9-23 months, at Luzerne County Correctional Facility, but the former officer is immediately eligible for work release.
For those unfamiliar, work release allows a prisoner to go to a job during the day and only have to sleep nights in jail. It is essentially state-funded housing.
Turkos was charged in 2015 with three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, two counts of indecent assault and a count of simple assault. However, he only pleaded guilty in June to two counts of corruption of minors. The plea deal was accepted by Vough and the more serious felony rest counts were withdrawn — a typical and common privilege afforded to the thin blue line, even for the vilest of offenders.

The charges were the result of accusations from his now teenage victims. Two victims came forward, accusing Turkos of having sexually abused them on multiple occasions when they were between ages 4 and 6. They told investigators Turkos threatened to hurt their pets and loved ones to keep them quiet. Another victim told investigators Turkos would zip-tie him to a railing while sexually assaulting him, then he would offer him gifts to stay quiet.
But it wasn’t the first time the former officer had been accused of criminal impropriety while wearing a badge. In 2008, while he was still a police officer, he was arrested, charged, and pleaded guilty to assault and harassment for allegedly beating his wife and stepson. And in 2009, following allegations Turkos was masturbating in front of two young children, he was sentenced to six months to a year in county prison for corruption of minors.

The sentencing has angered many residents who took to social media to express their outrage. Bee Barrone posted in the FB Group “Crazy Shit Going Down in Wilkes-Barre Area“. She wrote;
There should be a protest to beg the DA to reconsider the “plea agreement” that allows the dupont police officer child rapist immediate work release and only 9 months of work release not even prison!!!!!
Barrone expressed outrage at the torture the boy must have endured who was also raped by Turkos’ father. Yes, that’s right. The cop and his dad were both victimizing the boy. Joseph Turkos, the former officer’s father, was convicted of a misdemeanor count of corruption of minors in August 2014 after he was charged with sexually assaulting one of the same boys. Barrone explained:
Judge Michael T Vough handed him a 9 month work release sentence after he raped the same little boy his very own father did who is currently serving his prison sentence!
Barrone, who wasn’t alone in her outrage, expressed disbelief more parents and members of the community were not equally as enraged. She appeared equally miffed the justice system did not throw the book at the law enforcement officer who was supposed to have been protecting the child, not raping him. She also made reference to the viciousness of the crime.
I absolutely CANNOT believe there are lawyers, police officers and parents accepting this sentence. If it isn’t bad enough the little boy who was under the age of 13 was raped already by the perp’s father, he still wasn’t free he was left to be tortured and viciously raped by ANOTHER DUPONT POLICE OFFICER! Gagged, choked, handcuffs, zip ties???
Barrone called on members of her community to be more diligent in voting for their judges and district attorneys:
People with a heart need to speak up for this child. The system has failed him MAJORLY! This town is so corrupt and effed up its beyond disgusting! DO NOT FORGET ITS VOTING TIME SOON PEOPLE! Get this DA AND THESE JUDGES OUT OF HERE!!!
The victims spoke out about the abuse they endured and the threats made against their lives. According to the Times Leader:
The teenagers, both known to Turkos, said the assaults happened between 2001 and 2008, stopping only when Turkos exited their lives. During questioning at the 2016 hearing, they explained why they waited to come forward. “I was afraid,” said one of the victims, who was 14 at the time of the hearing. “(Turkos) was being physical and he made threats.” “I was being threatened,” stated the second victim, then 19, adding he “absolutely” bought into the threats because Turkos owned a gun and “he would frequently point it at us.”
The slap on the wrist sentences for former police officers who have engaged in criminal sexual activity has now become so commonplace it borders on the edge of being comical—if it weren’t so horrific.

As TFTP has reported, police officers often use their badge to abuse children. Then, they are given preferential treatment, it seems, by the courts who for some reason appear to take their public service into consideration at sentencing. Turkos was a twice-convicted criminal who was allowed to keep his badge. Even the Times Leader cannot pinpoint exactly when the police officer resigned or was fired from the Dupont Borough Police Department.
Ron Paul, former Congressman, presidential candidate, and medical doctor, brought up a simple, yet chilling point about the hysteria surrounding the Korean war propaganda being shoved down the collective throats of American citizens as of late. During an interview with the Mises Institute’s Lew Rockwell, Ron Paul bluntly noted, “I fear our government more than North Korea.” And, he’s right. If you don’t know why he’s right, ask yourself this question, “What has North Korea done to you?”
For decades, the insane dictatorship that is North Korea has been making hollow threats — none of which they have ever carried out since the Korean war. Since the Korean War, North and South Korea have engaged in incursions and sabotage within each other’s respective countries, but North Korea has never attacked anyone else since.
As Ron Paul pointed out, the fact that North Korea is not an actual threat to the US is of no interest to those buying into the fear mongering war propaganda. Even the non-interventionists who supported Trump are buying into the sheer apocalyptic lunacy that would be a war with North Korea.
“The propagandists are winning,” said Paul. “It’s almost like Saddam Hussein again, is going to come and ‘get us,"” Paul said as he recalled the lies the US used to convince Americans to invade Iraq.
Paul then points out how all of these ‘threats’ the US government constantly bombards us with are not really threats at all. Rather, the US government itself is the greatest threat to our freedom and well being.

“Russia is not going come. If the Soviet Union couldn’t do it, Russia is not going to be able to do it. China is not going to come and interfere with my liberties. But on a daily basis, my liberties are threatened (by the US government.)”
After Paul made the point, Rockwell asked a series of questions that exposed the war propaganda and saber rattling with Russia and North Korea as a distraction from the real enemy of our freedoms — Uncle Sam.
“Who is threatening our liberties here in the United States?
“Who’s taxing us?
“Who’s spying on us?
“Who’s wanting to control our speech?”
Nothing highlights the hypocrisy of the US government’s claim of keeping the world safe quite like the global polls taken over the last several years that ask, “Which country is the greatest threat to peace on the planet?”
Unanimously, every year, the answer to that question is the United States.
If the United States spent a fraction of the money it spends waging wars and invading countries overseas on protecting and fostering freedom domestically, the idea of war with North Korea would be shot down instantly and those calling for it ousted as traitors.
Sadly, however, as Paul noted, the propaganda works and the masses buy into everything their rulers in the marble buildings tell them.
North Korea doesn’t come here and kidnap and cage people for possessing a plant — America does.
North Korea doesn’t come here and publicly sodomize innocent people on the roadside in search of substances deemed illegal by the state — America does.

Being antiwar is not some cowardly stance by peaceniks and hippies, it is the only way to ensure humanity’s future on this planet.
Peace is not only the goal, but it is the only effective path by which that goal is reached.

With tensions rising and the North Korean regime unwilling to cease missile tests, the leader of the rogue nation is now officially threatening the United States with World War 3.
Not to be outdone in the warmonger arena, Kim Jong-Un is showing he has no desire to achieve world peace. Kim Jong-Un is promising a preemptive strike on the mainland US if he feels threatened. Before the beginning of 2017, the only thing afraid of Kim Jong-Un was a cupcake. But the dictator has been making sure his threats stick in the sides of the politicians in Washington.
US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley warned lawmakers last month that the North Korea’s missile program may be advancing ahead of previous estimates that put Kim’s unpredictable regime three to five years away from achieving its ambition of being able to deliver a nuclear weapon to the US. –CNN

The Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to kill numerous GOP lawmakers did not commit his violent acts in a vacuum. James Hodgkinson may have pulled the trigger that critically wounded House majority whip Steve Scalise and two others. But the hysterical threats of violence against Republicans and President Trump could not have escaped his notice.
Hodgkinson was a regular viewer of Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show and worshipped Bernie Sanders. There is little doubt that someone so immersed in left-wing politics heard the calls for blood and violence against Republicans.
Breitbart has a list of 15 Hollywood celebrities who made overt and chilling threats against the GOP and President Trump.
Hollywood has issued dire predictions and hysterical warnings about Donald Trump ever since the Republican businessman first announced his candidacy for the presidency in June 2015.
But the level of vitriol and violent rhetoric against now-President Trump has increased substantially in recent weeks, from comedian Kathy Griffin’s now-famous shock “beheading” photograph to Shakespeare in the Park’s not-at-all-subtle “assassination” of Trump on a stage in New York City’s Central Park.
Unfortunately, Griffin and the director of Julius Caesar are not anomalies in Hollywood; actors, writers, directors, and other celebrities have fantasized about using violence against Trump, his supporters, and other GOP lawmakers for at least the past 18 months.
Breitbart lists 15 examples of celebrity calls for violence. A few examples:

While the rest of the United States seems fixated on this week’s Senate hearing testimony of U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions (to discuss his involvement in the pseudo-scandal which is the meddling of the Russians in the presidential election of 2016) lawyers suing the DNC for fraud have asked for special protection for their lives.
The sheer number of plaintiffs are too many to mention in this article. The original motion to sue the Democratic National Committee and Debbie Wasserman Schultz can be seen by clicking here. They allege, thanks to leaked DNC emails published by Wikileaks, that the DNC and former Chairwoman Wasserman-Schultz actively discriminated against Senator Bernie Sanders as a DNC candidate.
All the plaintiffs who contributed to Sanders’ campaign, are members of the Democratic Party, and allege the DNC committed fraud by actively working against Sanders to help Hillary Rodham Clinton win the Democratic nomination as a presidential candidate. But that’s just the beginning. Now they’re saying they’re in fear for their lives, and they’ve described the strange things happening to some of them.
On Tuesday, six plaintiffs filed requests for special protection. Carol Wilding of Dassel, MN, a plaintiff in the case, filed a motion for special protection services. She stated in court documents someone tampered with her laptop. The computer had been moved from the mud room to the living room and placed on an end table, something she says she wouldn’t have done since she has special needs.
After picking up the laptop, the bottom of it fell open, because 10 screws had been removed. At about the same time, she noticed the doors leading into her home through her screen porch were open, and the sliding door to the home was ajar. She called the police and filed a report.

Wilding’s request for protection was the latest in a string of court filings by plaintiffs asking for special protection by the court. Four other requests were sealed by the courts and the details are unknown at this time. The first came from Florida resident Carol Wilding, of the Beck & Lee law firm.
Wilding’s employer represents some of the plaintiffs in the case against the DNC. In the court filing, she said someone called the office with a voice-masking device, and another stranger actually paid a visit to her mother’s home. The woman stated she was there to see Wilding, and asked for her by name. When her mother told her she wasn’t home, the lady left a Florida Democratic Campaign Committee “Vote-by-Mail” application with her mother.
In spite of the fact the woman had a stack of the registration forms, she did not visit any other home in the neighborhood and left as a passenger in a gray vehicle with tinted windows driven by someone else. Wilding also asked for special protection from the court.
It isn’t the first time those connected to the DNC Fraud lawsuit have been threatened or even killed. The process server, Shawn Lucas, was mysteriously found dead in 2016. He may have even known it was coming, as he actually filmed the serving of the lawsuit court documents while standing inside the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington, DC.
Here’s where it gets even more real. This week, Jared Beck, husband of Elizabeth Beck (principal lawyers in the lawsuit and founders of JamPac, the group suing the DNC and Wasserman-Schultz) recorded his request for special protection by the courts. In a Facebook livestream, Beck issued the following statement:

After much consideration and deliberation, we have concluded that it is time to bring these concerns to the court’s attention. As such, today we filed a motion asking judge William Zloch to issue an order providing protection of the plaintiffs, their counsel and their families, as well as all potential witnesses in the DNC Fraud lawsuit. In support of this motion, we have cited the following events: the untimely death of our process server Shawn Lucas, the unsolved murder of DNC employee Seth Rich. We believe Mr. Rich might have been a potential witness in this case. We’ve also cited the recent untimely death of federal prosecutor Beranton Whisenant of South Florida. Also recent bizarre and disturbing conduct including threats that has been directed at plaintiffs their counsel and employees, and we’ve also cited an offer to provide security by the Oathkeepers and it’s president Stuart Rose.

Beck cited three people who are no longer alive. Beranton J. Whisenant Jr., 37, was found dead at the end of May on a beach in Miami. He was working on the case.
Rich, as The Free Thought Project recently reported, is believed by many to be the person responsible for leaking the DNC’s email database to Wikileaks. And Lucas, found dead on 8/2/16 was just doing his job as a process server to legally inform the DNC of their being named as a defendant in the election rigging/fraud lawsuit.

The bodies are stacking up, and now the plaintiffs in the case are in fear for their lives. If this isn’t newsworthy to the mainstream media, one must ask the question why.
Ellis County, TX — In April, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed into law a “Blue Lives Matter” bill which bumps up the penalty for striking an off-duty police officer from a potential misdemeanor to a felony. But the following story coming out of Texas serves to illustrate just how awful the law will likely be for those who find themselves in a scuffle with a cop after hours.
Ellis County Sheriff Johnny Brown, along with his brother Bobby, were celebrating his recent re-election this past New Years with a trip to a nearby Midlothian Whataburger. After allegedly pulling up too closely to another vehicle, words were exchanged with the driver and other occupants.
The heated argument led into the burger joint and escalated to a point where Bobby, the Sheriff’s brother, decided he’d had enough jaw jacking, and took a swing at 21-year-old Caleb Tomgenovich, initiating an attack which appeared one-sided. The brothers were on a rampage.
Seeing his brother Bobby hurting a fellow citizen, Sheriff Brown jumped right in, punching one of Tomgenovich’s friends in the face. After the melee, police arrived and broke it up, but not before Midlothian Police Officer Aaron Walters had a few critical words for the Sheriff.
Walters commanded Sheriff Brown to leave the restaurant and to stop trying to intimidate a female witness by standing over her.
Get out of the store right now! You don’t stand over her like that, and try to intimidate her!
After Brown left the burger joint, he didn’t go quietly. As he walked passed Walters he threatened him by saying, “If you worked for me, you’d be fired.” To which Walters fired back, “I don’t care who you are!. Stop trying to intimidate me!”

When apparent intimidation tactics didn’t work, Sheriff Brown then turned to insults. “You’re an arrogant little f**k is what you are!” He added, “And I hope that camera’s on!” Walters confidently reassured him, “Oh it is! It is!”
The attack, threats, intimidation, and insults all led the Midlothian Police Department to charge the two brothers with misdemeanor assault. In a plea deal with prosecutors, Sheriff Brown decided to resign and surrender his peace officer’s license, ending his law enforcement career.
The whole caught-on-camera incidents serves to highlight potential problems states like Arizona will encounter when police officers get out of line while off-duty. Arguably, if it hadn’t been for the dashcam footage (which Sheriff Brown was so afraid of) the whole incident could have ended with the college students being charged with felony assault on a police officer.
Laws such as the so-called “Blue Lives Matter” legislation, albeit well-intentioned, effectively create a new and protected class of citizens; law enforcement. In an era where police officers are seldom disciplined, hardly ever charged with criminal activity, and who rarely serve any jail or prison time (even in the most egregious of cases) what America needs is stricter accountability, not special protection under the law.
From his perspective, Tomgenovich told reporters he’s pleased Sheriff Brown lost his job as Sheriff. He said not even his mother believed the Sheriff attacked him first, at least until she saw the footage for herself.

On Monday local police were made aware of threats against President Trump that originated from the “@JohnnyKing663” Twitter feed beginning as early as Feb. 27.
The first tweet out of a series reads:

Editor’s Comment: It is safe to say that things are unraveling. While a good self-defense strategy is a always a good thing for individuals to think through – many politicians are now taking things to the next level. With the population sufficiently riled up to a near revolutionary point, and President Trump raising the bar for acceptable extremes in politics, many of the elected officials and appointed bureaucrats who sold the American public on a failed Obamacare plan are now fearful that they could be targeted at political events or out of control demonstrations against forced health care or any other policy. Republicans involved in repealing the legislation are also fearful, and part of the left has become violent and anarchistic.
In addition to personal body guards and considerable distance from the general public, politicians are now considering exit drills for public events including extra points of retreat in case things go too far. But when things are this far gone, no one can guarantee that violence won’t occur. It is a sign of the times, a time of revolutionary discontent. Let’s just hope someone sensible is ready to hold back the political vacuum that will occur when the establishment is uprooted. The tail can sting as sharply as the head that bites. For better or worse, everything is changing, and people in all parts of society had better prepare for the unexpected, the unstable and the potential for widespread violence and unrest.
Politicians Are Now Making Plans in Case the Public Turns Against Them Violently

As protests continue to break out all around the nation over President Donald Trump’s desire to scrap Obamacare, Politico reported Tuesday that many politicians are beginning to worry about their own personal safety — to the point where some are having private sessions to discuss the matter.
Citing sources who were in the room, Politico writes:
“House Republicans during a closed-door meeting Tuesday discussed how to protect themselves and their staffs from protesters storming town halls and offices in opposition to repealing Obamacare.”
Some of the suggestions, the news outlet reports, include “having a physical exit strategy at town halls, or a backdoor at congressional offices to slip out of, in case demonstrations turn violent; having local police monitor town halls; replacing any glass office-door entrances with heavy doors and deadbolts; and setting up intercoms to ensure those entering congressional offices are there for appointments, not to cause chaos.”
While protests are popping up all over, the Republicans’ private session was no doubt prompted by events that happened over the weekend. While speaking before a raucous crowd in Roseville, California, Representative Tom McClintock had to be escorted from the stage and away from the event by local police officers.
McClintock, who held town hall meetings during the politically volatile days of both the Tea Party and Occupy movements, told The Hill he’s never seen anything like it:
“This was something very different. After an hour, the incident commander for the Roseville Police Department advised us the situation was deteriorating and felt it necessary to get me out of the venue. That’s never happened before.”
This sentiment appeared to be echoed at Tuesday’s closed-door session. Commenting on the meeting, Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker of North Carolina stated:
“The message was: One, be careful for security purposes. Watch your back. And two, be receptive. Honor the First Amendment, engage, be friendly, be nice. Because it is toxic out there right now. Even some of the guys who have been around here a lot longer than I have, have never seen it to this level.”
Sources told Politico that the potential for violence is serious enough, in fact, that the House sergeant-at-arms has asked congressional offices to report any threat. That office is also passing out manuals on best practices to keep staffers safe.
Ironically, the backlash over the possible repeal of Obamacare that Republicans are facing now is similar to the backlash faced by Democrats years back as they were trying to force Obamacare into law.
“It’s not that you run from protesters,” Representative David Reichert of Washington said during an interview after the meeting, “but if someone presents some sort of physical threat or are espousing a verbal threat that could lead to a physical threat, if you feel that you’re in danger and your staff is in danger, call 911 and leave and go out the back door.”
In other words…run. Call the cops and run.
