Trump On Syria Attack: ‘Could Be Very Soon Or Not So Soon At All’

President Donald Trump seemed so sure of himself yesterday when tweeting that Russia should “get ready” for a strike against Syria. He appears to now be backpedaling some, and it’s a small sign that just maybe we won’t go to war over what’s shaping up to be a false flag attack.

He did post a tweet this morning, in typical confrontational fashion, saying he “never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS.  Where is our “Thank you America?”

Trump may have missed his window for getting any “thank yous” as he almost singlehandedly stoked the fears of a third world war with his threatening tweet yesterday. The United States is said to still be considering a military response over a reported chemical weapons attack on the rebel enclave of Douma on April 7.

Syrian President Bashar Assad has been accused of being behind the purported incident, but the US said it also holds Russia responsible for failing to prevent Assad from conducting the alleged attack. White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday Trump “holds Syria and Russia responsible for this chemical weapons attack,” and said, “all options are on the table.”

According to RT, earlier this week, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, correctly pointed out that the alleged incident was beneficial only to the militants. Russian military specialists have already visited the site and said they found no signs of a chemical attack or any victims. The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the UN’s chemical weapons watchdog, said back in June 2014 that all stockpiles of such material had been removed from the country.

Russia responded to Trump’s threat by calling on common sense to prevail. “We do not participate in Twitter diplomacy,” Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said. “We support serious approaches. We continue to believe that it is important not to take steps that could harm an already-fragile situation.“

But the beating of war drums continues, although this may be a sign that the US is willing to back off some.

(INTELLIHUB) — It appears that the deep state and Twitter may be working hand in hand with each other to undermine the Trump Administration by further pursuing, identifying, and deleting a accounts that were “potentially connected” to the ongoing Russian propaganda effort which was initially triggered after Buzzfeed’s release of the Trump dossier.

Over 677,000 Twitter users received the email titled “Information Regarding Russian Influence Campaigns on Twitter.”

An Intellihub reader who goes by Aldo Raine, a.k.a. @Tabertronic, on Twitter was one of the people who received the message in his inbox on Friday which read:

As part of our recent work to understand Russian-linked activities on Twitter during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, we identified and suspended a number of accounts that were potentially connected to a propaganda effort by the Russian government-linked organization known as the Internet Research Agency.

Consistent with our commitment to transparency, we are emailing you because we have reason to believe that you either followed one of these accounts or retweeted or liked content from these accounts during the election period. This is purely for your own information purposes, and is not related to a security concern for your account.

We are sharing this information so that you can learn more about these accounts and the nature of the Russian propaganda effort. You can see examples of content from these suspended accounts on our blog if you are interested.

We are taking active steps top stop malicious accounts and Tweets from spreading, and we are determined to keep ahead of the tactics of bad actors. Oldest Trump son fires off 80-plus tweets in support of dad

President Donald Trump surprisingly refrained from tweeting during James Comey’s testimony. Donald Trump Jr., not surprisingly, did not.

The president’s eldest son, whose Twitter feed can at times be as inflammatory as his father’s, was a one-man rapid-response team as the fired FBI director testified before a Senate panel Thursday. He delivered denunciations with the same force that made him an effective, if controversial, campaign surrogate and could signal his own political ambitions.

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted more than 80 times Thursday, defending his father and attacking Comey. Trump Jr.’s Twitter barrage was all the more striking when compared to his father’s silence, which the president broke with a Friday morning tweet accusing Comey of lying under oath.

She Corrected A Student’s Spelling. Then The School Fired Her

FREDERICK, Md. — A school employee in Maryland apparently was fired after correcting a student’s spelling on Twitter.

Katie Nash lost her job as “web experience coordinator” at the Frederick County Public Schools after telling a student how to spell “tomorrow,” The Frederick Post-News reported.

On Jan. 5 and with bad weather threatening, a student directed a Tweet at the school system that read, “close school tamarrow PLEASE.”

Nash, who ran the school Twitter account, responded, “But then how would you learn how to spell ‘tomorrow?’ :)”

Her response was certainly popular on Twitter, generating 1,000 likes and leading to the hashtag #KatiefromFCPS going viral.

Even though the unidentified student did not mind the response, Nash’s superiors told her not to send out more Tweets. But she kept Tweeting calendar updates.

Then on Jan. 13, Nash was told she was being terminated from her $44,066-a-year job. Michael Doerrer, a spokesman for the Frederick Public Schools, would not say why she was terminated.

Nash is now tweeting from her personal account, @KatieNash. The mother of two is not ashamed of what she did.

“It was really positive and great to see so many students engaged with their school system,” Nash said. “I wouldn’t change a thing.”

She’s received lots of support on social media, with people inundating the @FCPSMaryland feed with words of criticism for the school. One wrote, “Rehire this lady if you want to save your reputation.” Another wrote, “No wonder kids today have so much trouble with grammar and spelling.” Still another wrote, “Will you explain why u fired someone for a spellcheck tweet? Story not going away. National laughingstock.”

Trump’s agenda is as much guesswork as likely expectations at this point. How he intends operating won’t be known until he takes office and begins serving.

Even then, it’ll take a while. We’ll know more after his first 100 days in office, much more after months to follow.

He has pluses going for him, along with stiff headwinds, assuring a rocky ride. Nearly 63 million Americans voted for him. Depending on what he does, he could either win over many more or lose much of his support.

America’s deep state is his most significant challenge, bent on letting nothing interfere with its rogue agenda at the expense of most people at home and abroad.

It’s unknown if he intends going his own way, especially geopolitically, or if he’ll continue the agenda of his recent predecessors – gangsterism on a global scale he should renounce, though trying won’t be easy if he intends to try.

One thing about him is unique to US politics – his daily way of communicating when not on the stump or holding a press conference – largely bypassing conventional media militantly against him, using social media instead.

He’s America’s tweeter-in-chief, getting across his message in brief comments, as often as he wishes, without having anyone distort his message.

It’s in the public domain for everyone to see, including on Facebook, perhaps other social media sites as well – a unique, effective way to communicate in short, easy to remember points he wants millions of Americans following him to know.

His latest tweet in three segments said the following:

“Having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. Only ‘stupid’ people, or fools, would think that it is bad! We…..

have enough problems around the world without yet another one. When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now and….

both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!”

In response, I tweeted him, saying “(y)ou’ll win over millions more hearts and minds worldwide if your geopolitical agenda follows these tweets. Keep tweeting.”

He doesn’t likely read incoming tweets. So many come at him with 19 million followers. His handlers do to check for any threats needing to be countered.

In less than two weeks, he’ll be America’s 45th president. Will he break the mold and serve honorably, do the right things and make his detractors eat crow, or will he be just another dirty politician?

It’s his choice, no matter the obstacles he faces. History will judge him accordingly.

A lot of people like to criticize President-Elect Donald Trump’s propensity to use Twitter, but he has a very valid reason for doing so.

He can’t get fair and reasonable coverage from the mainstream media. No matter what Trump does, it’s met with scathing headlines and mockery from the MSM. None of them can report in an unbiased fashion. (No real surprise there.) They don’t even try.

As well, during the election, the media blatantly did everything they could to keep Trump out of office, even going so far as to give Clinton questions in advance so she looked better and releasing fake polls showing that Trump was too far behind to ever catch up.

So, as a businessman who is used to solving problems, Trump has done an end-run around the MSM by using Twitter and starting his own YouTube channel. He hasn’t done a press conference since he was elected.

If CNN anchor Don Lemon had his way, there would be absolutely no news coverage of Trump’s tweets.

The Daily Caller reports:

“Can I say something?” Lemon said on the air Tuesday. “That’s the whole point. That’s the strategy. He can’t sit down with the media because then he legitimizes the media which he rallies or rails so much against.”

“He still needs us more than we need him,” he added.

“Listen, I’m not a news executive. But if I were, I would say I would not cover his tweets.”

Lemon said if more people in the media ignored Trump he would be forced to hold a press conference because “he hates being ignored.”
