SECURITY OPERATIONS WITH A COALITION FORCE

Some time back, Stewart Rhodes asked me to write an article for  the national web site on the security operations we do here in Arizona.  About 2-3 years ago I developed a program we call Operation Braveheart.  This is a coalition of Oath Keepers, III%’s, militia, prepper groups, and many other patriot groups in the State of Arizona.  One group we recruited, known as the Arizona Liberty Guard (AZLG), formed a corporation and a private security company.  This group has worked with the Phoenix Police Department and the Department of Public Safety on several operations.  AZLG and Oath Keepers developed a good working relationship and, as a result, AZLG voted unanimously to join the Braveheart Coalition.

We have since done joint operations in conjunction with the Phoenix Police Department.  When DPS has requested AZLG assistance, they have stated they wanted a high profile presence as a deterrent.  And AZLG is a sight to see when they roll up on the event to provide perimeter and internal security.  They own several military vehicles, including a 5-ton.  They are so squared away that they have been mistaken for the National Guard.  We’re talking matching uniforms with unit patches and full load out.  Arizona OK’s Security Team and AZLG together number approximately 40-50 specially trained men who are capable of protecting a rather large venue.

The Oath Keepers Security Team is a more relaxed looking group, however they have an exceptional amount of experience with some very squared away military and law enforcement veterans.

We have run several operations in Phoenix for large groups, including a Trump Unity Rally, where Sheriff Joe Arpaio was speaking.  That rally brought ANTIFA activists, as well as other radical left wing groups to disrupt the event.  They were not successful.  They decided it would not be prudent to tangle with trained professionals.  The Phoenix Police Department, at the end of the event, told us they were very pleased with our performance and professionalism, and further stated  that we were the only volunteer group that they would work with in the future.  That’s the ultimate compliment from a large city Police Department.

Oath Keepers of Yavapai County, AZ, as well as Oath Keepers of Maricopa County, AZ, also provide much smaller teams to handle smaller venues and events.  Recently the Oath Keepers of Yavapai County have provided not only perimeter security, but also internal security, and personal protection for Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is running for the U.S. Senate.  This was done in conjunction with the Arizona Rangers, a private security company who are uniformed and equipped to more resemble law enforcement.

At one recent event with Sheriff Joe, word got out to the local communists in Prescott that there would be a political rally and he would be there.  The local college put together a protest of about 60-70 people.  They started out with a “die-in” in protest of the Maricopa County Jail that Sheriff Arpaio is quite famous for running, and the reason why he is known as America’s toughest sheriff.  Then the communists held a protest out on the street with signs and banners near the entrance to the event.  Sheriff Arpaio went out and attempted to talk with them face to face about their issues.  They only shouted phrases loudly and refused to have any intelligent interaction with him.  It became quite heated, so the Oath Keepers formed up around the Sheriff for his safety.

When the event opened, the communists were permitted into the auditorium , which held about 200 participants.  They sat together at the back of the room.   This event was sponsored by two of our elected representatives to the Arizona State House, who were also present.  They appealed to the audience to be respectful and not to disrupt the presentations.  All went smoothly for about 45 minutes, when cell phone alarms started going off, and the communists stood up and began chanting, shouting down the speakers.  This is on tape and posted on the IGD (It’s Going Down) website.

If interested, watch the video and you will see our team protecting the dignitaries.  After a short while, the Sheriff was escorted out of the room (but he did not leave the venue).  The Oath Keepers Team escorted the communists out of the auditorium and off the premises.  The Sheriff returned to the auditorium and finished his program.  Several communists remained seated though there were no further interruptions.

Appreciation was expressed from the podium for the actions of the Oath Keepers and the Rangers to bring order back to the event, to loud applause.  The Oath Keepers were asked at the end of the event by Sheriff Joe Arpaio to come up on the stage and take a picture with him.  He did the same with the Arizona Rangers.

When finished, we escorted the Sheriff to his vehicle to make sure he could leave in safety.   There was much discussion of the event in local media and on local talk radio programs, with mentions of the Oath Keepers and the Arizona Rangers being there to back down the disruptors.

There was another Sheriff Arpaio event in our area within a month.  It was an invitation-only event, but the organizers were concerned about possible disruptions.  The Oath Keepers were called, along with the Arizona Rangers, for security.  The venue was swept prior to the event, and teams were positioned all around the perimeter.  When the Sheriff arrived, he expressed  his appreciation at again seeing these groups there to keep the peace.  Fortunately, there were no disruptions.  Some thought that they had seen some interested people drive by but, upon seeing the security teams, they decided not to enter the venue, and it was speculated that it may have been because of the successful expulsion of disruptors from the previous event.

The bottom line is that no one group or organization can handle every event. The concept is to work within a coalition of groups to present a much larger show of force, thereby mitigating the need for violence. Some times a simple Psy-Op is quite effective as well. However if things do get out of control, it is nice to have a viable force to fall back on.

Minutemen, Oath Keepers, CA State Militia, on the California Border

Gathering aims to relaunch Minutemen, fortify border, in response to caravan.

Operation Cinco de Mayo: In this video from the San Diego Union Tribune the founder of the Minutemen, former California State Assemblyman Tim Donnelly explains why he called for the muster on the border of California and Mexico. The groups that responded to the call were Minutemen, Oath Keepers, and the California State Militia. Tim Donnelly is currently running for Congress.

Pledging to report unauthorized entries into the United States — and shame any state leaders who welcome them — about 20 border security supporters assembled Saturday morning near Jamul.

The group, including members of the Minuteman patrol movement, coordinated volunteers to watch designated border regions for 24 hours.

Their vigil, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, was meant to help federal officers, Minuteman leader Tim Donnelly said.

By reporting unauthorized border crossings, the observers hope to help outnumbered border officers, Donnelly said. He is a Republican candidate for the 8th congressional district, which covers much of the desert area north of Imperial County.

The border-watching exercise was in part a reaction to the caravan of Central Americans who traveled through Mexico to enter the U.S. at the border between San Diego and Tijuana, said Donnelly, a former assemblyman.

It was also meant as a warning to Gov. Jerry Brown, who signed the California Values Act, which limits law enforcement in the state from certain kinds of cooperation with federal immigration officials. The law has been criticized as an effort to make California a sanctuary for unauthorized immigrants.

“My hope is that we will reignite the (Minuteman) movement and that people will again be aiding (border agents) for longer periods of time, longer musters,” Donnelly said.

The camouflage-dressed volunteers, wearing boots, bringing backpacks and other wilderness gear, were instructed on safety such as avoiding rattlesnakes before heading out from Pio Pico campground.

Volunteers were told to avoid confrontations with border crossers if possible, and to help those in distress.

“There is no animus toward those who are crossing desperate, you know, to escape oppression,” Donnelly said. “But at the same time, among those people come through wolves, people who mean harm people like Luis Bracamontes, who was just recently sentenced to death here in California for executing two sheriff’s deputies up in Sacramento.”

While expressing sympathy for plight of border crossers, Donnelly and others blasted Brown, who they said has violated his oath of office.

“This is not about waving American flags,” Donnelly said. “This is about actually securing the border and sending a message to the political authorities, to Jerry Brown.

“I dare Jerry Brown to come down and arrest me, because you might get arrested down here for being a tyrant, for being a traitor, for aiding and abetting illegal aliens and harboring them in violation of federal law, which is the supreme law of the land when it comes to immigration.”

Veteran Campaigns for Office by Attacking Private Gun Sales and the Right to Own Semiautomatic Firearms

That is simply not true. It’s repeating an intentional deception crafted decades ago by the Violence Policy Center to exploit public ignorance and fear.

“Democrat buys semiautomatic rifle at Va. gun show in under 10 minutes,” The Washington Post crows in a “Gotcha!” headline designed to misuse supposedly “straight news” to stir up a demand for political action:

“Dan Helmer, an Army veteran, said he bought a firearm similar to the one he carried in Iraq and Afghanistan to show how easy it is to legally obtain an ‘in­cred­ibly dangerous piece of weaponry that’s meant for war” from a private seller. He bought the gun less than two miles from a public school, he said.”

Emotionally manipulate the ignorant much? The firearm may be cosmetically “similar,” but you can bet he didn’t carry a semiautomatic rifle when deployed. As for being “meant for war,” you’ll note he’s not questioning why police should have them if that’s the case, plus he’s intentionally ignoring what the citizen militia is entitled to:  Per the Miller Court, “the Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear … ordinary military equipment … that … could contribute to the common defense.”

Plus he’s repeating one of the oldest lies in the gun-grabber playbook.

It’s beyond curious that the monopoly of violence zealots behind semiautomatic bans “justify” them by screaming they are “weapons of war.” Those, of course, are precisely what the Founders deemed necessary for members of the citizen militia to keep and bear. To insist otherwise is to maintain their purpose was to have the “whole people” called forth to be slaughtered – hardly a prescription for a secure or free State.

And this business of “less than two miles form a public school” is pure hysteria –ginning aimed at spooking the herd.  Helmer might as well tell them he thinks they’re ignorant and stupid, which you’d probably have to be to vote for such an obvious manipulator. And besides, if guns are too dangerous to be allowed in such areas, 90% of the country could be declared off-limits.

Helmer took an oath when he enlisted and he’ll take another if elected. How he squares that with active subversion of the Bill of Rights in order to gain political power is left unsaid. Hey,if these guys can get away with it and be rewarded…

And WaPo, of course, has long been in the business of undermining the right to keep and bear arms by the law-abiding, yet somehow ready to turn a blind eye to real and deadly abuses that don’t advance the narrative.  Case in point: When they gave Obama cover over his transparent lie related to OperationFast and Furious “gunwalking.”

As a DSM outlet continually wringing its hands over “gun violence,” here’s a chance to see if they’ll do it again, via one of the comments they allowed to be posted under their article (it won’t “hot link,” but the comment appears at https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/democrats-race-to-prove-who-hates-guns-more-in-northern-virginia-house-primary/2018/05/01/d3ad87a0-4cbb-11e8-b725-92c89fe3ca4c_story.html?commentId=a84d12d5-839e-4907-ba5e-80ec88add3e6&outputType=comment&utm_term=.718ade7a6fed) :

My money’s on the guy turning out to be an anti-gun liar, which is, face it, what all grabbers are.  That said, if the paper’s editorial board is really serious about “gun control,” the comment poster is using their forum to brag that he committed a felony and is a “gun criminal.”

Seeing as how it’s impossible for us to tell if the claim is a lie or the truth, and in the spirit of the Department of Homeland Security’s “If you see something, say something” advice, it will be interesting to see if WaPo rats the guy out and volunteers his information (email and IP addresses, etc.) to the feds.

President Donald J. Trump Proclaims May 1, 2018, as Law Day, U.S.A.

On Law Day, we celebrate our Nation’s heritage of liberty, justice, and equality under the law.  This heritage is embodied most powerfully in our Constitution, the longest surviving document of its kind.  The Constitution established a unique structure of government that has ensured to our country the blessings of liberty through law for nearly 229 years.

The Framers of our Constitution created a government with distinct and independent branches — the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial — because they recognized the risks of concentrating power in one authority.  As James Madison wrote, “the accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands . . . may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”  By separating the powers of government into three co-equal branches and giving each branch certain powers to check the others, the Constitution provides a framework in which the rule of law has flourished.

The importance of the rule of law can be seen throughout our Nation’s history.  This year marks the 150th anniversary of the ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution.  The Fourteenth Amendment prohibits States from denying persons the equal protection of the laws or depriving them of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.  The commitment to the rule of law that led the country to ratify that Amendment was no less powerful than the commitment to the rule of law that led the country to ratify the original Constitution.

That commitment to the rule of law lives on today.  It drives the debates we see around the country about the growth of the administrative state and regulatory authority, and about the unfortunate trend of district court rulings that exceed traditional limits on the judicial power.  We also see that commitment in the people’s demand that their representatives comply with the Constitution, and in the Representatives and Senators themselves who take seriously their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower first commemorated Law Day in 1958 to celebrate our Nation’s roots in the principles of liberty and guaranteed fundamental rights of individual citizens under the law.  Law Day recognizes that we govern ourselves in accordance with the rule of law rather according to the whims of an elite few or the dictates of collective will.  Through law, we have ensured liberty.  We should not, and do not, take that success for granted.  On this 60th annual observance of Law Day, let us rededicate ourselves to the rule of law as the best means to secure, as the Preamble to our Constitution so wisely states, “the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, in accordance with Public Law 87–20, as amended, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2018, as Law Day, U.S.A.  I urge all Americans, including government officials, to observe this day by reflecting upon the importance of the rule of law in our Nation and displaying the flag of the United States in support of this national observance; and I especially urge the legal profession, the press, and the radio, television, and media industries to promote and to participate in the observance of this day.

How Will Mass ‘Migrant’ Crossing Not Be an Unprovoked Foreign Attack?

“Migrant ‘caravan’ at U.S.-Mexico border prepares for mass crossing,” Reuters reported Thursday. “Hundreds of Central American migrants from a caravan that crossed Mexico reunited in Tijuana on Wednesday and planned to cross the border together this weekend in defiance of threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to repel them.”

If allowed to happen, the criminal invasion – and ultimately that’s what it is – will be a direct result of a chain of circumstances aided and abetted by the Mexican government in violation of its own laws.  Mexican law requires foreign nationals be in their country legally and that their presence be beneficial. It is a criminal offense there to aid and abet illegal immigration.

Pueblo sin Fronteras, coordinator of the “caravan,” solicits donations via Paypal but is not listed as a nonprofit on Guidestar. It does not show up on the California Secretary of State business search (Paypal locates them in La Crescenta). Its website domain registrar is hidden behind a proxy. To find out more, we can turn to supportive ”mainstream”  puff pieces, or alternatively, to sites alleging indirect Soros ties.

The other and more significant player on the U.S. side of the border is the state of California, with its sanctuary policies and its opposition to federal enforcement efforts. What happens if leftist federal judges on the 9th Circuit issue an injunction forbidding enforcement? What the options will there be if the state decides to intervene with more than rhetoric?

Chances are this will play out for the cameras and be exploited to feed a meme that further smears those opposed to open borders as violent xenophobes and racists. There are those who wouldn’t mind at all if this results in a bit of for-the-cameras violence — or more than a bit.

Global humanitarian crises will not be solved by subverting U.S. law and culturally terraforming the Republic. But the “organizers” have brought things to the point where an honest, humane desire to solve the plight of such people is used against those who would help, meaning there are those who are cynically exploiting “refugee” pawns and domestic useful idiots to advance a political agenda.

The government of Mexico knows this, and there need to be serious repercussions taken against the ungrateful, in-bed-with-the-cartels officials if they force this on us. They need us a lot more than we need them.

More importantly, this country needs to start acting like one.  But the differences between open borders subversives and political opportunist /cheap labor sellouts vs. Americans who want their country back are irreconcilable.

A rational U.S. policy for admitting foreign nationals could not be simpler: Look to the Preamble to the Constitution.  If government policy — on anything — fails to “form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,” then government is violating “the supreme Law of the Land.”

If oath-breaking representatives weren’t ignoring and subverting the Second Amendment every chance they get, we’d have the border problem pretty much solved peaceably via “a well regulated militia” standing guard to discourage and deter things getting out of hand:

“The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property.”

But that’s the last thing those who would fundamentally transform the Republic want to see happen, with “the security of a free State” via an armed citizen populace being the thing they fear most.

An Illinois County Just Voted To Become A Sanctuary For Gun Owners

An Illinois County board just voted to become a sanctuary county for gun owners.  That would entail not enforcing laws that prohibit the basic fundamental human right of self-defense.

The Effingham County Board approved the resolution 8-1 on Monday which declares that they will not enforce gun laws that “unconstitutionally restrict the Second Amendment.” (Of course, that’s all gun laws based on the Constitution.)  Board members said they felt it was necessary to “take a stand” against the immoral and human rights violations in the form of gun control efforts in the Illinois legislature.

Humorously, Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler told Fox News that they decided to “flip the script” and “make this a sanctuary county like they [Democrats] would for undocumented immigrants.”  Kibler admitted the action is largely symbolic and Sheriff Dave Mahon told the Effingham Daily News that the board’s decision would not dictate how his office enforces the law.

Mahon did say, however, that if the state passed a gun control law with dubious constitutionality, he would decide how to handle it after consulting with the state’s attorney and the legal counsel of the Illinois Sheriff’s Association.

As gun control activists ramp up efforts to disarm peaceful citizens, some are taking a stand against such tyranny. “The Second Amendment is not about hunting,” Shannon Alford, the National Rifle Association’s Maryland liaison told USA TODAY at a gun rights rally over the weekend. “It is not about competitive shooting. The Second Amendment is about self-defense. It’s about being able to stop people who would do you harm, whether that’s a criminal or the government.”

And self-defense is a basic human right, making those who march in favor of gun control tyrannical fascists. Gun control “across the pond” hasn’t worked out very well.  Those who defend themselves from thieves are being punished while the criminals are allowed to slash and stab their way through London. But what’s the solution to increased shootings and stabbings in the wake of making an entire nation a gun-free zone? If you ask London’s mayor, it’s more knife control, and no, that’s not a joke. 

WHAT CAUSES MASS SHOOTINGS? Psych Drugs or Law-abiding Gun Owners?

The 2nd Amendment is a hot topic right now, mostly due to the misguided efforts of the high school students from Parkland, Florida. The mass shooting of students and teachers there was a horrible tragedy. However, students, large anti-gun organizations, and the mainstream media are demanding a faulty solution. These protests are not student-led, but instead are organized and paid for by well-funded national groups with a gun-control agenda.

Instead of pursuing a viable solution, the tired old ban “AR-15’s”, ban “large capacity” magazines, or ban”weapons of war” talking points are spouted by those who somehow think that disarming law-abiding citizens will solve the problem. Anyone who would consider perpetrating a mass shooting can get whatever weapons they want thru illicit channels. New laws won’t stop them. New anti-gun laws will only hamper the defensive response by good guys.

We have a natural right to self-defense. The 2nd Amendment enumerates that right. Disarming good guys does not make bad guys less dangerous! Gun-free-zones just compound the problem, assuring that no good guys (or gals) can stop the mayhem.

A gun is a tool. It does not act on it’s own. Great Britain has banned guns and crime is worse. Now, they’re banning knives. So criminals are using acid. The problem is not the gun or the knife. It is the person using those tools. Any solution must address the real problem – the person committing the crime.

What causes mass shootings? The person using the weapon.

The film, Good Guys With Guns, will explore real solutions to the real problem, instead of the current knee-jerk demands for unconstitutional gun-control and incremental gun bans.

Capture the Flag and Send a Message to Your Representative

This is not a message my gun-grabbing Congressthing wanted to promote…

April 19 is, among other things, Patriots’ Day. Of particular significance were the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Whenever this day comes around, it reminds me of a project from two decades ago that allowed me to make a statement of defiance to a gun-grabbing politician and get a valued souvenir in the bargain.

This is a project I did several years ago that I’ve written about a few times over the years–I resurrect it from time to time because I believe it makes a good statement of defiance, plus most of you have probably never seen it.

My U.S. Representative at the time, Jane Harman, was one of the most anti-gun members of Congress. Holding press conferences with Sarah Brady to promote more citizen disarmament (where I was threatened with arrest for asking a question), she campaigned on the slogan “I wear my opposition [to believers in the Second Amendment] like a badge of honor.”

So why in the world did I send her a check? And why do I encourage all RKBA supporters to follow suit with their own representative, especially if they’re oath-breaking gun-grabbers?

One of the constituent services that Congress provides to “We the People” is a program which lets you fly a commemorative flag over the nation’s Capitol building. For a nominal fee (I paid about thirteen bucks at the time) you can specify one of a couple different flag sizes and materials, the date you want your flag flown, and why you are flying it.

I asked for my flag to be flown on April 19 with the notation:

“In tribute to the Citizen Patriots of Lexington and Concord who resisted confiscation of their armaments on this date in 1775, and in continued defiance of all who would infringe on the Right of the People to keep and bear arms.”

I can think of many other dedications, such as “In loving memory of the children of Mount Carmel,” or “For Vicki and Sammy Weaver,” or numerous other events warranting commemoration. I’m sure you can, too.

Whether your Representative chooses to process the orders or return them, a point will have been made (and I’m still not clear what their options are for refusing to do so, and it could even be the basis for further exposure, possibly up to and including legal action).

Anybody unfortunate enough to live under Nancy Pelosi’s gun-grabbing tyranny? $19 is the least expensive flag you can get, and note selecting “Customize” and “additonal text” lets you append personalized sentiments to the preset “Dedication Message.” Now the question becomes “Will she?”

It can be a powerful point. Their choice will be to fly our flags in defiance of their statist policies, or to create a public record of suppressing alternative political sentiments. And it will either cost you nothing, or, for a nominal price you’ll get a beautiful flag and a commemorative certificate signed by the Architect of the Capitol (and hopefully, yours won’t misspell “armaments.”)

You’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that you sent your Congressthing a strong, no-compromise statement of principle, and maybe even made him or her squirm. Why not contact your Representative, send in an order form and fly a flag for freedom?

Criminal Referral Issued For Comey, Clinton, Lynch, McCabe…

…Rosenstein Recusal Demanded.

Eleven GOP members of Congress led by Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) have written a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Attorney John Huber, and FBI Director Christopher Wray – asking them to investigate former FBI Director James Comey, Hillary Clinton and others – including FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, for a laundry list of potential crimes surrounding the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Recall that Sessions paired special prosecutor John Huber with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz – falling short of a second Special Counsel, but empowering Horowitz to fully investigate allegations of FBI FISA abuse with subpoena power and other methods he was formerly unable to utilize.

The GOP letter’s primary focus appears to be James Comey, while the charges for all include obstruction, perjury, corruption, unauthorized removal of classified documents, contributions and donations by foreign nationals and other allegations.

The letter also demands that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “be recused from any examination of FISA abuse,” and recommends that “neither U.S. Attorney John Huber nor a special counsel (if appointed) should report to Rosenstein.”

“Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI personnel connected to the compilation of documents on alleged links between Russia and then-presidential candidate Donald Trump known as the “Steele dossier.” 

• This section of the letter calls out Comey, McCabe, former acting AG Sally Yates, and former acting Deputy AG Dana Boente regarding the Steele dossier.

• “we raise concerns regarding the presentation of false and/or unverified information to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in connection with the former Trump aide Carter Page” 

• “Former and current DOJ and FBI leadership have confirmed to the Committee that unverified information from the Steele dossier comprised an essential part of the FISA applications related to Carter Page” 

• “Accordingly we refer to DOJ all DOJ and FBI personnel responsible for signing the Carter Page warrant application that contained unverified and/or false information”

The criminal referrals for the group allegedly responsible for FISA abuse include: obstruction, deprivation of rights under color of law, corruption.

Facebook must face class action over facial recognition: U.S. judge

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – A U.S. federal judge ruled on Monday that Facebook Inc must face a class action lawsuit alleging that the social network unlawfully used a facial recognition process on photos without user permission.

The ruling adds to the privacy woes that have been mounting against Facebook for weeks, since it was disclosed that the personal information of millions of users was harvested by the political consultancy Cambridge Analytica.

U.S. District Judge James Donato ruled in San Francisco federal court that a class action was the most efficient way to resolve the dispute over facial templates.

Facebook said it was reviewing the ruling. “We continue to believe the case has no merit and will defend ourselves vigorously,” the company said in a statement.

Not All Teenagers Eat Tide Pods

Patriots young and old showed up in force at the Rally for Our Rights, pro-second amendment gathering in Kalispell, MT

(Kalispell, MT) With all the coverage lately of teenagers and young adults marching to have their rights removed, one could easily conclude that the outlook for liberty in general, and the 2^nd Amendment specifically, is quite bleak.  To me, this anti-freedom, liberty-hating agenda pushed by the failing propaganda press is one of the last plays of a movement overcome by desperation.

As my friends can attest to, I have stated for over 18 months that the establishment is finished.  Once the “powers that be” lost control of the mainstream narrative, their fate was sealed.  Alternative media kept hammering away with the truth, which made the lies of the MSM openly apparent.  Contrary to what is shown on the phony press, there is a movement to regain control of our government and shift the narrative back to Constitutional principles.  Although there are many elder statesmen who are deeply steeped in the fight, it is the youth who will eventually win the day.

By all appearances, Ron Paul left the “Liberty” movement smoldering, while Donald Trump has been fanning the flames into a growing inferno.  People inherently want to be free, a fact that was clearly apparent in the minds and hearts of everyone who showed up in Kalispell’s Depot Park at the pro-gun, “Rally for Our Rights” over the weekend.  The event was organized by 3 high school students, Braxton Shewalter, Grant Miller and Cole Medhus.  Despite facing verbal abuse hurled at them by teachers from their own school, these three young men soldiered on and successfully pulled off a very inspiring event.

Looking back on the America I grew up in, I am realizing how Communism in its infancy was kind of cute…like little baby dragons. How romantic and tender it was, with flowers in our hair and the music of Pan stirring our souls. But the cute baby grew up to be Smaug…not so romantic anymore. No more flowers, only the threat of the greatest fire the world has ever known. Just the other day, I was thinking about childhood friends through the years on into adulthood who I have loved and lost…all swept away by the Red Wave.

Communism, once a national or regional disease, has become a global disorder invited by the “mental disorder” known as Liberalism. It took root here in the U.S. back in the late 30’s as the Frankfurt School of Marxist thinkers forced to flee the growing Nazi threat in Europe. They found a welcoming home at New York’s Columbia University. Every twisted perversion of our Judeo-Christian Culture and Constitutional Republic can be traced back to this…infection. It’s an infection that enters the body by way of seduction really. Why tie one’s self up with all of this silly, outdated rigid and restrictive Judeo-Christian mumbo jumbo of creeds and rules, when one can truly free one’s mind and body? I will tell you as a young teenager growing up in the “counter-culture” 60’s under the harsh rule of an overbearing task-master father, I bought into the seduction hook, line, and sinker.

But here dear friend is our saving grace. Grace is the gift from God we truly do not deserve. In our American DNA, there exists a very important something that’s hard to define or describe. It’s a combination of things that include common sense, courage, hunger for truth, and true justice. If I had to sum it all up and give it a term, I’d call it a BS Meter. Sadly, judging by the attitudes and expressions on college campuses, it appears the younger generation has come poorly equipped. Any number of them on any given day can be found signing petitions to freely relinquish their God-given Rights. Our generation rebelled against top-down government and institutional authority. Theirs is begging for it! That dear friend is the devastating power of the Red Wave.

When the dragon was just a teenager himself, we were blessed with great men who knew how to handle him. President Reagan steered our Ship of State, and the man who knew the dragon 1^st hand, Pope John Paul ll, led the Catholic Church. The dragon was effectively contained. But the disease introduced into our cultural bloodstream by the Frankfurt School advanced beneath the surface, attacking our immune system and making way for the most philosophically un-American President ever to occupy the White House…and to compound the disaster…the most un-Catholic Pope to ever occupy the Vatican. The Red Wave grew into the present day Global Tsunami.

Early last year a group of us Oath Keepers attended a Village Board meeting to support our local police after the local Red Wave Society demanded the Blue Line be removed because they found it offensive to the other Red Wave offspring known as Black Lives Matter. The Red Wave Mayor was naturally sympathetic to their demands and had appeased them BEFORE the meeting by transforming the Blue Line into a red, white, and blue line. The Red Wave met the Patriot Wave and completely disintegrated there in the Village Hall…as all lies eventually do. The Blue Line was restored.

The disease has fully metastasized as a global Corporate/Communist/Islamic mutation that seems to want WWlll. What I saw as a Globalist Kristallnacht struck the United States and Europe last week, setting the stage for the Final Act. Springtime, usually the time of birth and renewal, began with the launch of 100 missiles. Yesterday I marched with 500 of my brothers and sisters in Albany as part of the National “Stand Up For America” Day. We surrounded the office of our Red Wave Governor with chants of “Cuomo’s Got To Go”! The truth is I don’t know where he will go. The fact is none of us know where any of this goes from here. If you’ve ever found yourself body-surfing under a huge collapsing wave that pounds you into complete disorientation, that is what the crashing effect of the Red Wave seems to have on us at the moment. What we do know is that one of us has put his faith in man, and the other his trust in God. Time should tell…it always has, and it always will.  www.oathkeepers.org

Gun rights advocates rallied at state capitols across the country on Saturday to make their voices heard amid recent efforts to impose stricter gun-control laws that they fear undermine their Second Amendment rights.

Peaceful protesters numbering in the hundreds gathered outside statehouses from Maine to Wyoming to hear speakers warn that any restrictions on gun ownership or use could eventually lead to bans for law-abiding gun owners.

“Gun owners have been portrayed in a negative way and it is our hope that this peaceable rally will show that we are safe, law-abiding individuals that happen to take our constitutional rights very seriously,” Dave Gulya, an organizer for the Maine event that attracted about 800 people, told the Bangor Daily News.

An estimated 160 pro-gun supporters participated in a gun-rights rally at the Atlanta statehouse on Saturday. (AP)

The National Constitutional Coalition of Patriotic Americans sponsored the 45 planned rallies across the U.S. in support of the right to bear arms, according to the paper.

“If you have a building and you take a brick out every so often, after a while you’re not going to have a building,” said Westley Williams, who joined about 100 people outside the state Supreme Court building in Cheyenne, Wyo.

An estimated 160 Second Amendment supporters rallied in Atlanta, with some carrying firearms, flags and signs saying “Don’t Tread on Me” as they listened to speakers talk about gun rights.

Protesters in Vermont took to the steps of the Statehouse in Montpelier, where days earlier they felt Gov. Phil Scott “betrayed” them when he signed three major gun control measures.

“Three days ago, on these steps, we were betrayed,” Joe Nagle told the Burlington Free Press. “We were promised no new gun laws.”

The paper reported that the National Rifle Association criticized Scott, a Republican, and called on gun owners to abandon the governor, who changed his stance in February after an alleged school shooting plot shook the state.

Just Burn a Witch to Stop Armed Murder

There was a time when children cried so we burned witches. Today, we have some 23 thousand ‘Gun control’ regulations. We pass new regulations each time a celebrity gets shot or some white kids get attacked. We’ve burned that witch before.

Each gun regulation is sold to us in glowing terms as it’s being debated. Each new regulation is breathlessly described as-

urgently needed..life saving..essential reform..violence prevention..common sense..crime control..limit armed terrorists.. controlling dangerous weapons..firearms safety..controlling unprecedented weapons of war..public safety legislation..

..and it sounds so wonderful.

You have to ask yourself some questions if you don’t believe the overhyped press briefing. If each of the 23 thousand ‘Gun control’ regulations were all that we were told, then why do these regulations fail every few minutes and we have another violent crime? I thought all those earlier laws fixed that.

‘Gun control’ laws don’t stop criminals because criminals don’t obey our laws. (We can document that obvious point if you need.) ‘Gun control’ fails because we don’t prosecute criminals with the laws we already have. ‘Gun control’ fails because background checks look backwards at a person’s history. That gives criminals and crazies one free mass murder before they become prohibited persons.

At best, ‘Gun control’ isn’t much of a solution.

We’ve looked very hard at the data. ‘Gun control’ does nothing to reduce violent crimes like mass murder, armed murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. (And here, here too.) Some data says that ‘Gun control’ disarms the honest people so crime actually goes up after ‘Gun control’ is passed. And before you ask, the police collect crime information, mostly for insurance purposes. The police rarely stop violent crimes in progress.

If the stacks and stacks of ‘Gun control’ legislation failed before, then why do we expect the next bit of legislative-ink-on-paper to stop the next violent criminal? The truth is, we don’t. Neither do the politicians who pass these laws.

Those are very powerful forces at work. No wonder we try the same failed idea time after time. Until we are willing to dig past the headlines, we simply burn another witch and pass another ‘Gun control’ law. After all, it made us feel better last time.

I don’t have all the answers. I’m not even sure which will come first. Will we stop distracting ourselves with ‘Gun control’, and then look at the real causes and solutions to public violence? Will we implement a few effective measures and then stop wasting time with ‘Gun control’ legislation? Either would be fine, and not a minute too soon.
