Pope Francis is now attacking the credibility of child sex abuse victims in a shocking move made at the end of a trip to Chile in which he had hoped to “heal” the wounds of said abuse.
That’s right, Pope Francis ended his trip by publicly defending a bishop who victims have accused of covering up widespread pedophilia in the country.
According to a report by the Associated Press, Francis made the shocking comments in a discussion about Rev. Fernando Karadima who has been found guilty of sexually abusing a slew of minors as a member of the Catholic Church.
Pope Francis accused victims of Chile’s most notorious pedophile of slander Thursday, an astonishing end to a visit meant to help heal the wounds of a sex abuse scandal that has cost the Catholic Church its credibility in the country.
Francis said that until he sees proof that Bishop Juan Barros was complicit in covering up the sex crimes of the Rev. Fernando Karadima, such accusations against Barros are “all calumny.”
The pope’s remarks drew shock from Chileans and immediate rebuke from victims and their advocates. They noted the accusers were deemed credible enough by the Vatican that it sentenced Karadima to a lifetime of “penance and prayer” for his crimes in 2011. A Chilean judge also found the victims to be credible, saying that while she had to drop criminal charges against Karadima because too much time had passed, proof of his crimes wasn’t lacking.

The Karadima scandal dominated Francis’ visit to Chile and the overall issue of sex abuse and church cover-up was likely to factor into his three-day trip to Peru that began late Thursday.
Karadima’s victims reported to church authorities as early as 2002 that he would kiss and fondle them in the swank Santiago parish he ran, but officials refused to believe them. Only when the victims went public with their accusations in 2010 did the Vatican launch an investigation that led to Karadima being removed from ministry.
The emeritus archbishop of Santiago subsequently apologized for having refused to believe the victims from the start.
One of the victims made clear his disgust at Pope Francis for essentially covering up for a man who watched as another bishop sexually abused him.
“As if I could have taken a selfie or a photo while Karadima abused me and others and Juan Barros stood by watching it all,” tweeted Juan Carlos Cruz. “These people are truly crazy, and the pontiff talks about atonement to the victims. Nothing has changed, and his plea for forgiveness is empty.”
This obviously does not look good for the Pope or the Catholic Church as they are now apparently engaging in attacking the victims instead of actually going after the abusers.

Self-described psychic Susan Rowlen released a video detailing her predictions for the coming year. One of her most alarming predictions is that she says North Korea will succeed in sending a missile to the US at some point in the coming year.
But don’t fret just yet. Within the first 30 seconds of Rowlen’s video, she admits that she was wrong about some of her 2017 predictions. She says that about 80% of her predictions for last year did come true though.
So what exactly does psychic Rowlen see occurring during the remainder of this year? “Interesting enough, I wanna start off by talking about the tax reform,” she begins. “There’s a lot of hype and there’s a lot of communication of this and that, people going back and forth, yay or nay, some people love the tax form some people don’t. I am here not to take sides, OK? But I am gonna just tell you what I think,” she says.
“The tax reform with the tax rate going for corporations to 21%, that versus what they’ve been paying at the 35%. Now, what is it gonna do to the economy? I actually think it’s really going to help the economy. The reason I see this is because it is going to leave room for job growth. When the corporations can save money on taxes, they can actually spend more time on the employment and growing their business,” Rowlen says. At least we have a psychic who understands the basic fundamentals of economics.
Rowlen has some bad news for the retailers, however. They will do OK, but they won’t flourish. The in-store purchases will dwindle. Of course, this has been going on for years, as more use the internet to do their shopping. Then she moves onto talking about the stock market and how she predicted 2017 to be a year of unhindered growth. “Second to third quarter is where I see little tumbles, little peaks,” Rowlen said of 2018’s stock market forecast. But she gets more ominous soon after:
“The stock market’s gone as high as it can go. So, it’s going to kind of fade back and forth, second to third quarter. So I do want to say that. So, but do I see anything drastic? Well, if anything ever happened to Donald Trump, that’s where you would see a real dive to the stock market.”
Rowlen then briefly talks about the real estate market suffering. Before she moves onto the allegations of sexual harassment that have been plaguing politicians and celebrities. She sees a male figure come forward to admit he was sexually harassed setting off a chain of events which will allow men to also be more comfortable with coming forward also. She rambles off a few other predictions and says to recycle before she speaks about 2017 and Donald Trump.
“And I’m gonna be really honest with you. I said this in 2017 and I’m gonna say it again. More people that are gonna be dropping from his cabinet and as like I go through underwear…he’s gonna have a lot of people, and let’s face it, he’s had so many that I’ve even done my homework and let’s see…I’ve got pages and pages of all the people in his cabinet that have left or been fired or both. So, the point is, 2018, is it finally ceasing does he finally have the caninet of his dreams? The answer is a big fat ‘no’.”
“Should we worry about North Korea? Absolutley, yes! This man is very unstable and yes, he’s out to get the US…North Korea, I think, is going to actually succeed in sending some sort of missile.”
“Everyone has asked me, do I see president Trump impeached? My answer is no. I don’t see it. I try to get a vision that I see him leaving the White House and I do not see this man leaving the White House. So for those of you that love him, you’ll be very happy with that and for those of you that don’t like him, you won’t be very happy with that answer.”

Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut gave $2,700 to the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence, and Sen. Kristin Gillibrand of New York gave $11,800 to RAINN, the national sexual assault hotline, according to their press offices.”

A Swedish journalist who referred to Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange as a "criminal" over since-dropped rape allegations has been accused of rape and sexually assaulting several women - some as young as 14 years old.
Frederik Virtanen - who also hosts a talk show on Swedish TV, was called out during the #MeToo social media campaign created in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein Hollywood scandal.
Virtanen was first accused of raping Swedish feminist Cissi Wallin in 2006 when she was 21. Four years later, she said an "older man with power" had sexually assaulted her.
“I cannot be quiet anymore,” Wallin said in her Instagram post, adding that she should “have screamed his name long ago.”
After Wallin spoke up, Swdish author Camilla Läckberg voiced her support, claiming she had heard the same stories about Virtanen from "so many others."
“Cissi is not alone, I"ve heard from so many others about the same man. For years. Still silence," wrote Läckberg on Instagram.
Following Wallin and Läckberg"s posts, several more accusers shared their own stories about Virtanen - claiming he sexually assaulted victims ranging in age from 14 - 19 years old.
Feminist Fridah Jönsson was one of those women, alleging Virtanen asked her to sleep with him when she was 14. Another two women claimed Virtanen raped or sexually assaulted them - one of them having been lured to the journalist"s apartment for drinks when she was 16, and another alleged victim who said he tried to rape her when she was 19 in the southern Swedish city of Eskilstuna 17 years ago.

The documentary delves into the firsthand accounts of former Hollywood child actors to show the systemic grooming that lets pedophilia run rampant.
It’s been commonplace throughout tinseltown’s history. The so-called casting couch has been around for the past century, producers and other industry executives demanding sexual favors for roles in films, aspiring actors and experienced ones pressured to submit.
The Harvey Weinstein scandal is no aberration. Countless other film executives act the same way, now and earlier throughout the industry’s history, the tip of the iceberg alone reported.
Hollywood moguls want sexual abuse incidents suppressed. Amy Berg’s 2014 documentary “An Open Secret” discussed film industry underage victims of sexual exploitation, minors especially vulnerable to predatory vultures, powerful men believing they can get away with anything and usually do.
Stories of abuse the film recounts represent the tip of a sordid iceberg. Most victims are too ashamed to go public, others not sure they’ll be believed.
Berg said “(w)hen you meet the victims and see how prevalent this problem is, it’s difficult to ignore” the sexual abuse they and many others endured, adding:
“(W)hat I found really disturbing was the number of convicted pedophiles who are still being hired on set, on kids’ shows. These are people who technically should be nowhere near children. That was really upsetting.”
The earliest industry sex scandal occurred in 1921. Actor Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle’s rape of actress Virginia Rappe led to her death from a ruptured bladder.
He was charged with murder, downgraded to manslaughter, then acquitted after three trials.
Errol Flynn had a two-year affair with Beverly Aadland, beginning when she was aged-15. Earlier he was accused, then exonerated of raping two underage girls.
Aadland recounted her ordeal, saying “(h)e was just too strong for me. I cried. At one point he tore my dress. Then he carried me off to another room, and I was still carrying on. What was going through my head was, what was I going to tell my mother?”
In her autobiography, actress Joan Collins explained she lost the lead role in “Cleopatra” to Elizabeth Taylor for refusing to sleep with 20th Century-Fox’s studio head, saying:
“I had tested for ‘Cleopatra’ twice and was the front-runner. He took me into his office and said, ‘(y)ou really want this part?’ And I said, ‘Yes. I really do.’ ‘Well,’ he said, ‘then all you have to do is be nice to me.’ “
“It was a wonderful euphemism in the Sixties for you know what. But I couldn’t do that. In fact, I was rather wimpish, burst into tears and rushed out of his office.”
At age 12, Shirley Temple said an MGM producer exposed himself to her during their first meeting. She laughed nervously. He threw her out of his office – after she signed a contract.
Marilyn Monroe said she knew numerous Hollywood lechers. “I met them all,” she explained. “Phoniness and failure were all over them.”
“Some were vicious and crooked. But they were as near to the movies as you could get. So you sat with them, listening to their lies and schemes. And you saw Hollywood with their eyes – an overcrowded brothel, a (sexual) merry-go-round…”
Judy Garland said she was pawed and propositioned by study bosses and others from aged-16. She called MGM founder Louis B. Mayer a notorious harasser, her biographer saying:
He “would tell her what a wonderful singer she was, and he would say ‘you sing from the heart,’ and then he would place his hand on her left breast.”
Comedian/actor Bill Cosby faces numerous accusations of sexual assault – more than 50 women saying he molested them from 1965 to 2008. He denies wrongdoing.
He faces numerous lawsuits. Attorney Gloria Allred represents 33 women, saying others requested her help. Cosby faces retrial for one incident next year. If convicted, he could be imprisoned. He’s now aged-80.
Two women accused actor Casey Affleck of sexual abuse, both claims settled out of court. Affleck denied charges against him.
Actress Theresa Russell said producer of “The Last Tycoon” Sam Spiegel propositioned her during a casting session. His biographer explained he made liberal use of the casting couch.
Producer Julia Phillips’ book “You’ll Never Eat Lunch in This Town Again” discussed much about Hollywood’s sordid history, including commonplace casting couch abuses.
Writer Peter Keough called Hollywood “a town where everyone is selling body and soul for fame and fortune and all – especially women are considered commodities.”
Actor Woody Harrelson said “every (acting) business I ever entered into in New York seemed to have a casting couch…I’ve seen so many people sleep with people they loathe in order to further their ambition.”
Actress Goldie Hawn accused cartoonist Al Capp of propositioning her, adding he exposed himself to her when she was aged-19. She rejected his advances.
Producer Chris Hanley claimed “almost every leading actress in (his) 24 films has slept with a director or producer or a leading actor to get the part that launched her career.”
Actress Gwyneth said early in her career, a film producer explained a business meeting should end “in the bedroom.” She accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment.
Actress Susan Sarandon described what she called a “really disgusting” casting couch experience in New York.
Cher tweeted about a “scary experience” with a film producer. Jane Fonda said she was once fired for refusing to sleep with her boss.
Instances of casting couch sexual abuse are endless. Hollywood is a virtual den of iniquity. The silver screen hides what goes on behind the scenes.

But Murray isn’t the only Democrat neck deep in scandals of this magnitude, in what is becoming a disturbing pattern of Democrats politicians involved in crimes and allegations of child sexual abuse. These scandals are horrifying and largely ignored by the mainstream media.
Several major Democrats are facing charges or received convictions regarding sexual crimes related to children over the past year. Perhaps the most well-known example is that of Anthony Weiner, soon to be ex-husband to Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin. Weiner, the disgusting and disgraced Democrat has a long history of sexual misconduct which most recently landed him in legal trouble when he became involved in an online sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl. Weiner pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor and faces up to ten years in prison. He also must now register as a sex offender.
The Daily Wire also compiled a list of Democrats that the website backpage.com has donated to. The website is allegedly directly linked to child prostitution and trafficking and the co-owners gave a lot of money to Democrats recently, including donations to:
If that isn’t enough to make this horiffingly cringe-worthy already, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) is currently on trial facing federal corruption charges, which started in 2012 over allegations that he and another man were having sex with underage prostitutes. But not to be outdone, Jacob Schwartz, a 29-year-old up-and-coming young Democrat who worked on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s staff was arrested in May. Schwartz is accused of child pornography charges in which he allegedly kept more than 3,000 images and 89 videos of pornographic acts committed by children.

It seems a little more than convenient that the media is willing to look the other way when Democrats are caught doing disgusting things.

Right now, a major cover-up is going on in the media and among leftists all over the country. Many Democrats are involved in separate and equally disturbing sex scandals, but they are all being swept under the rug.
According to the Daily Wire, the Democratic Mayor of Seattle, Ed Murray, resigned Tuesday after more allegations of child sexual abuse surfaced. Murray’s resignation, which was effective 5 p.m. on Wednesday, comes after the fifth allegation of child sexual abuse surfaced on Tuesday. This time, the accusations came from a family member. But Murray isn’t the only Democrat neck deep in scandals of this magnitude, in what is becoming a disturbing pattern of Democrats politicians involved in crimes and allegations of child sexual abuse. These scandals are horrifying and largely ignored by the mainstream media.
Several major Democrats are facing charges or received convictions regarding sexual crimes related to children over the past year. Perhaps the most well-known example is that of Anthony Weiner, soon to be ex-husband to Hillary Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin. Weiner, the disgusting and disgraced Democrat has a long history of sexual misconduct which most recently landed him in legal trouble when he became involved in an online sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl. Weiner pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor and faces up to ten years in prison. He also must now register as a sex offender.
The Daily Wire also compiled a list of Democrats that the website backpage.com has donated to. The website is allegedly directly linked to child prostitution and trafficking and the co-owners gave a lot of money to Democrats recently, including donations to:
If that isn’t enough to make this horiffingly cringe-worthy already, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) is currently on trial facing federal corruption charges, which started in 2012 over allegations that he and another man were having sex with underage prostitutes. But not to be outdone, Jacob Schwartz, a 29-year-old up-and-coming young Democrat who worked on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s staff was arrested in May. Schwartz is accused of child pornography charges in which he allegedly kept more than 3,000 images and 89 videos of pornographic acts committed by children.

A journalist investigating the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Sweden was told that police have not even interviewed the prime suspect two months later because authorities “cannot cope” with the sheer volume of cases since Sweden opened its borders to mass immigration two years ago.
Back in July, the 12-year-old girl was dragged into a restroom by an older man in the center of Stenungsund before being beaten, raped and threatened with death.
Knowing the identity of the culprit, the girl’s mother immediately reported him to police, but authorities have yet to even interrogate the suspect two months later despite knowing his name and address.
According to journalist Joakim Lamotte, the girl is still being confronted and taunted by the rapist on the streets of Stenungsund.
When Lamotte contacted authorities, he was told that the case hasn’t been acted on because police “cannot cope with the workload” of having so many rape cases to investigate.
“Do you know how many rapes we have?” Lamotte was told by the police officer in a conversation he recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
“No, I don’t. But I’ve talked to the mother and her daughter feels very bad because of this, and I know who this man is, I have his name, address, social security number and everything, and, I mean, you haven’t even interrogated him yet, isn’t that remarkable?” asked Lamotte.
“Well, you might think so, but we have so many similar issues and so few people available we cannot cope with the workload,” responded the police officer.
“That sounds unbelievable. A 12-year-old girl who is raped, it’s just a child,” said Lamotte.
“We have 3-year-old children that get raped,” responded the police officer, sounding clearly exasperated.
When asked if they were not able to prosecute rapists who molest 3-year-old children, the female officer responded, “Yes….these are the realities and it’s terribly regrettable. That’s all I can say about it.”
Rapes have skyrocketed in Sweden over recent years. Authorities have claimed that this is due to the definition of rape being changed, but the spike occurred long after the change was made. Sex crimes in the country have doubled since 2012. The most recently available statistics showed that immigrants were 5.5 times more likely to carry out sexual assaults.
Sex attacks as music festivals throughout Sweden are also soaring, with over 150 cases of assaults and 20 rapes being reported this summer.
Earlier this year, Peter Springare, veteran police investigator and former deputy head of the division for serious crimes at the police in Örebro, made headlines after he wrote a Facebook post in which he detailed how the country was in “chaos” due to a never ending epidemic of serious crimes being committed by Muslim migrants.
We previously highlighted Joakim Lamotte’s work back in February when he investigated the brutal gang rape of a Swedish woman who was racially abused by a group of men in Gothenburg who live streamed the assault to Facebook.
When Lamotte attempted to get an update on the case from police in Gothenburg, he was told it was being treated as “aggravated rape” but that “no one even has begun working with the case yet”.
According to a concerned mother who first brought the video to the attention of police in Gothenburg, she was shocked to see that they were disinterested and “sat and ate cheetos” while being seemingly more bothered by her for reporting the incident.
