Hillary Ignored Staffers’ Sexual Harassment Allegations

war-Hillary Clinton

(ZHE— The #MeToo movement is finally coming for Hillary Clinton, who has for years been dogged by accusations that she helped intimidate women accusing her husband of certain improprieties.

In a bombshell report, the New York Times reported that a senior adviser to Hillary Clinton was kept on her 2008 campaign despite allegations that he sexually harassed a young female staffer. Clinton’s campaign manager at the time advised the campaign to fire the adviser, Burns Strider, who served as the faith adviser to the campaign, and reportedly sent Clinton Bible verses every day.

Instead, Clinton intervened: Strider was kept on, but he was docked several weeks’ pay and underwent counseling. Notably, Strider was a founder of the American Values Network.

Five years later, Strider was hired by Clinton associates to lead Correct the Record, a group that supported Clinton’s candidacy. He was fired a few months later following allegations that he harassed a female staffer there.

A Clinton spokesman provided a statement from Utrecht, Kleinfeld, Fiori, Partners, the law firm that had represented the 2008 campaign.

“To ensure a safe working environment, the campaign had a process to address complaints of misconduct or harassment. When matters arose, they were reviewed in accordance with these policies, and appropriate action was taken, the statement said. “This complaint was no exception.”

The Times based its account on interviews with no fewer than eight former Clinton staffers.

Then-campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle and other senior officials discussed the situation involving Strider and Clinton’s response at the time. Some of them were bothered by the fact he was allowed to remain.

Clinton memorably waiting nearly a week before issuing a statement rebuking her former friend and fundraiser, Harvey Weinstein.

But this hasn’t stopped her from offering her full-throated support for the Women’s March and young women everywhere who are trying to realize their dreams…

The woman who filed the initial complaint against Strider was 30 at the time. She shared an office with him and alleged that he had rubbed her shoulders inappropriately, kissed her on the forehead and sent her a string of “suggestive” emails.

The woman’s complaint was relayed to Clinton by Doyle, who urged the candidate to fire Strider – he was married at the time. Clinton refused.

But perhaps the most galling detail in the story is the fact that the accuser has been prevented from coming forward by the NDA she signed when she took her job.

Lena Dunam, a Clinton supporter, even told the Times that she warned Clinton campaign aides about Weinstein and the fact that his history of assaults “is going to come out at some point.”

Nick Merrill, the former director of communications for the Clinton campaign, said such a warning would not have been ignored.

“You’ve Been Part Of The Problem For Decades”: Pop Singer Seal Exposes Oprah’s Extreme Hypocrisy Over Harvey Weinstein Scandal

U.S. Democratic Presidential candidate Obama is joined by talk show host Oprah Winfrey and his wife Michelle at a rally in Des Moines

Longtime pop singer Seal has publicly called out Oprah Winfrey for her extreme hypocrisy surrounding her speech at the Golden Globes and subsequent grandstanding in the wake of the Hollywood Harvey Weinstein scandal.

The pop singer posted a now viral meme to Instagram Wednesday that openly showed Oprah actually sucking on Hollywood mega-predator Harvey Weinstein’s ear while another showed her actually introducing a young actress to him.

“Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumors but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad,” Seal rightfully noted.

Keep in mind that Oprah has already been accused of MUCH MORE than “hearing” rumors.

Infowars reported:

At least one aspiring actress has accused Weinstein of using Oprah to seduce her with promises of advancing her career.

British actress Kadian Noble claimed she was raped in a hotel room by Weinstein, who had earlier greeted him with Oprah “swinging off his arm” at a London event in 2014.

“Harvey wasn’t acting alone. Harvey wasn’t allowed and enabled to do what he did to Kadian and other women without help,” said Noble’s attorney, Jeff Herman.

Weinstein was attacked while while eating dinner at an Arizona restaurant this week.

If the Democrats think Oprah is their savior for 2020 then that is obviously a GOOD thing for all liberty minded Americans as a Hollywood elitist has absolutely NO CHANCE of being voted president in this climate.

Moral Bankruptcy of ‘Progressive’ Celebrity Politics Displayed through ‘Oprah for President’ Push

The new heroine of the #MeToo/#TimesUp crowd… (Steven Crowder/ #Oprah2020/ Twitter)

“Golden Globes Ratchets Up Its Tightest Security Ever For 75th Ceremony,” Deadline observed Sunday.  “The LAPD cleared close [to] a four-mile zone. Guests were subject to trunk checks and mirror ‘bomb’ checks underneath their vehicles… Inside the hotel: various internal security checkpoints, hotel guests were being scanned coming off the elevator into the lobby, as well as traversing to the pool side of the hotel.”

The overprivileged glitterati sure like plenty of “security” when it’s their own precious hindquarters on the line, especially when others are paying for it — including taxpayers “progressive” Hollywood demands to see disarmed.  Then again, their main consistency of principle appears to be gluttonous self-gratification and promotion while oozing false virtue. That gives a special irony to celebrities embracing the #MeToo “movement”.

So when we see Meryl Streep decked out in her obligatory black #TimesUp evening gown, it’s fair to ask where she was in disapproving the likes of the odious Harvey Weinstein when she was embracing him instead? She didn’t see the value of throwing him under the bus until enough people started making noises about her conspicuous silence. Streep and her fellow “stars” really had “no idea” the guy was a perverted abuser? What excuse can they use for Roman Polanski?

Now Streep will never get to collaborate (appropriate word!) with Weinstein on “The Senator’s Wife,” a proposed anti-gun propaganda piece for which Harvey threatened he would make the NRA “wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them.” But thanks to what happened at the Golden Globes, she found something else to say on camera that not only takes the focus off her own complicity and hypocrisy, but gives her and other play-actors something to rally around and send virtue signals over: the unfolding “Oprah Winfrey for President” crusade.

“She launched a rocket tonight. I want her to run for president,” Streep gushed after Winfrey put the bug in people’s ears during her lifetime achievement award acceptance speech. “I don’t think she had any intention [of declaring]. But now she doesn’t have a choice.”

Democrats are drooling at the possibilities and celebrity support is lining up.

The pundits are swooning.

And if there’s one thing Oprah shares with fellow celebrities (aside from an affinity for being with the abusers before she was against them) it’s disapproval of fans who can’t afford protective details yet have the gall to want to protect themselves.

“[W]e can uphold the Second Amendment and also reduce that violence that is robbing us of our children,” Winfrey declared while advocating for infringements. And to make sure “we” would have the votes, she called for “a clear path to citizenship for the 12 million undocumented immigrants who reside in this country.”

This is her idea of upholding the Second Amendment:

“Are assault weapons necessary? I just say, ‘Enough.’”

And those “12 million” will be happy to help.

You get a vote and you get a vote and you get a vote!

Besides, all us SPLC-defined “haters” ain’t gonna to be around forever, something Oprah and her supporters evidently look forward to:

In other words #TimesUp?

Meryl Streep, Who Covered Up For Harvey Weinstein And Once Called Him GOD, Is Now Attacking The Trump Family For Being “Silent” On Sexual Assault

merylandharvey-640x480

In the most stunning example of hypocrisy seen in some time, Hollywood liberal Meryl Streep is now attacking both Melania and Ivanka Trump for being “silent” on the issue of sexual assault.

Yes, you read that right. The women who worked with Harvey Weinstein for 20 years and even once called him “god” is now attacking the Trump family for not publicly discussing allegations against Donald Trump when Streep herself literally ignored Weinstein’s disgusting behavior for over a decade while winning numerous Oscars for her work with him.

Streep made the pathetic comments in a wide-ranging interview with The New York Times in which she discussed her new movie before being asked about her initial silence after the Weinstein allegations were revealed.

“I’ve got to shift conversation to the news these days, sexual harassment. One thing that struck me after the Harvey Weinstein accusations broke was people were saying, “What is Meryl going to say?” They were waiting for you,” The Times

Streep answered the question by laughably claiming that she only heard about the allegations the Friday they were released (instead of over the 20 plus years she worked with him) before then blaming her lack of social media accounts for staying silent after Weinstein’s behavior was revealed to the world.

“I know. I found out about this on a Friday and went home deep into my own life. And then somebody told me that on “Morning Joe” they were screaming that I haven’t responded yet. I don’t have a Twitter thing or – handle, whatever. And I don’t have Facebook. I really had to think. Because it really underlined my own sense of cluelessness, and also how evil, deeply evil, and duplicitous, a person he was, yet such a champion of really great work,” Streep claimed.

“You make movies. You think you know everything about everybody. So much gossip. You don’t know anything. People are so inscrutable on a certain level. And it’s a shock. Some of my favorite people have been brought down by this, and he’s not one of them.”

Amazingly, Streep took her nonsense even further, going on to claim that people shouldn’t be talking about her stunning silence but rather should be focusing on the Trump family.

“I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump. I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say. And so does Ivanka. I want her to speak now.”

That’s right, Streep doesn’t wanna hear about her covering up for Weinstein for years and by golly liberal “icons” get their way! Plus it has to be Trump or his families fault anyway!

The entire interview is truly a test case in Hollywood liberal insanity and just goes to prove that those in Hollywood truly believe they can get away with anything as long as they somehow connect it to Donald Trump.

Weinstein Effect: 50 Powerful Men Who Fell in 2017 Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

(ANTIMEDIA) — In October, famous Hollywood producer, Harvey Weinstein, was fired from his position at the Weinstein Company after multiple women accused him of sexual assault. Additional shocking claims about the disgraced media mogul surfaced, including rape, as well as Salma Hayek’s recounting of the time Weinstein threatened her life and the revelation that Weinstein employed spies, including ex-Mossad agents, to silence his victims.

For as long as most people can remember, sexual harassment and sexual assault have been extremely prevalent, often swept under the rug and, to some extent, expected in the workplace. NY Times Admits Harvey Weinstein was Member of Elite Group Mainstream Media Wouldn’t Touch

eliteHarvey Weinstein is a sexual predator who was among an elite group protected by both Hollywood and the mainstream media because of his connections.

Pervert Politicians Represent a Sick Society

Pervert Politicians Represent a Sick Society | harveywood-HOLLYWOOD | Government Corruption Politics Sleuth Journal Society Special Interests

Once again the august and noble governmental careerists reveal their nature. Let no man or woman ever be disappointed. The aristocracy of public policy always has a way of reaching down and deep to pull off the pants of naked exposure. Nothing has changed in this pattern of conduct. Only the methods of fusing perversion with favors vary with the excess of the billionaire moguls who fashion the popular culture. Washington DC has an insatiable appetite for projecting power dominance that may only be exceeded for the lust of campaign donations. The perfect storm of celebrity debauchery streams directly into the corridors of legislation and agency administration. Such behavior is well known, even though most practices are ignored as a matter of course.

According to the Washington Times, Weinstein’s sexual harassment scandal tarnishes Hollywood; Democratic Party has serving representatives running for cover.

“The blowback quickly reached Washington, where a number of Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York, Sen. Patrick J. Leahy of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, said they would forward their campaign donations from Weinstein to charities supporting women.

Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala D. Harris of California donated $5,000 and $10,000, respectively, to women’s organizations. Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut gave $2,700 to the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence, and Sen. Kristin Gillibrand of New York gave $11,800 to RAINN, the national sexual assault hotline, according to their press offices.”

Pray tell just how many party favorites were oblivious to the widely known habits that permeate the producer power relationships both on and off the silver screen. Even the tarnish to the Camelot image of the Kennedy era, from mixing the celebrity mystic with the brute force of Federal authority, seldom shock the adoring fan base. So what is the entire hullabaloo really about?

Well, the hubbub has very little to do with a moral awakening by the general public. By those standards, engaging in an occasional groping by an alumnus of Saturday Night Live seems forgivable as long as one is a professor of obscene conduct. Nothing is funny about this comedy of errors. So what is the punch line?

When stuck for a laugh, dip down into the well of routing out the closest conservative Christian within reach, especially one who defends the Ten Commandments. Again, nothing new about this in the Babylonian Talmud cult that rules the MTV society.

So when the Bubba of defilers avoids interviews about his mile high fun on the Lolita Express, it only feeds interest to read the screenplay. Bill Clinton Still Silent About Flights On Pedophile’s Sex Plane only raises the party bar.

“Between 2001 to 2003, Clinton and Epstein traveled together on extended trips around the world, according to flight records released in 2015 .

Accompanying Clinton aboard the private jet was Doug Band, his “body man” and president of Teneo Holdings, a company that arranged speaking engagements and lucrative business deals for the former president.

On one trip Clinton also traveled with , who is now of have sex with an underage boy.”

For those who have been on Clinton overload for decades the capricious New York Times can always be counted upon to muddy up the waters. Their latest, After Weinstein: The Fallout for 34 Men Accused of Sexual Misconduct, From Lewd Texts to Rape acknowledges “Here is a list of such cases, which we will update periodically. The list does not include accusations against men for whom there has been no or minimal fallout.”

Gee, where is the list of women perverts? If sex scandals only stem from the male genitalia maybe the most important twist to the scandals goes missing. From across the pond, the Sun takes up the “PC” analysis in Women will be driven out of politics by ‘toxic’ sex scandal, Ruth Davidson warns.

“Our political institutions are in danger of gaining a reputation as a toxic workplace for women.

“Let me make my position plain – we need to throw open the doors on what has gone on in the past.

“We need to flood the dark corners of Parliament – and politics in general – with the disinfectant of sunshine.”We ask our political representatives to do a professional job; the very least they should expect is a professional workplace with decent HR practices in which to function.

“We need to address those misdeeds because we cannot let them put off the next generation of lawmakers.”

How nice that the home of so many closet queens can take a back seat to the deviants who molest women can take the heat.

Now from that bastion of establishment journalism, Time provides an even longer list compiled by Samantha Cooney. Here Are All the Public Figures Who’ve Been Accused of Sexual Misconduct After Harvey Weinstein seems to omit any women as the perpetrators of the power trip of sexual dominance. MS. Cooney states:

“The Weinstein scandal has sparked a national conversation about sexual misconduct and prompted others to come forward with accusations ranging from groping to rape against prominent men, including former Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, House of Cards star Kevin Spacey, actor Ben Affleck and former President George H. W. Bush.

These are the men who have been accused of sexual misconduct after the Harvey Weinstein allegations.”

HELLO !!! Where do you find a list of female perps?

What is the message coming out of this never-ending featured cinematograph script to unclothe all those Harveywood sickos and their crony politicians who double in their buddy flicks? Obviously, better to shift your gender preference so your Lilith kinkiness can take down your own Adam.

So the lesson to take away from the power trip that targets male dominated scandals is not to be a teacher and use the authority of the class room to inflict preeminence over all those innocent children. Sorry, Mary Kay Letourneau is not eligible to run with the political bulls. THE 50 MOST INFAMOUS FEMALE TEACHER SEX SCANDALS is the other side of the coin.

John O’Sullivan in The Australian writes,

“We seem to have reached a general social conclusion after a remarkably brief and one-sided debate: sexual exploitation of vulnerable women by powerful men has been a vast hidden epidemic in our society and must now be halted once and for all. But how?

That’s not difficult to answer. George MacDonald, the Scottish religious novelist (who inspired CS Lewis), once wrote that it was the duty of a man to protect women against all men, starting with himself. If all men were to act consistently on that principle, there would be no problem of sexual harassment to solve.

But as every man must concede (including the author of this column), only a small minority of men (generally with names prefixed by “St”), consistently live up to this standard. We should be encouraged to do so by our moral upbringing and by the general messages of our culture. But since both sexes are composed of fallen creatures, we will always fall well below 100 per cent success in this endeavour even in a high-minded society. An additional problem is that we don’t live in a high-minded society but in a liberated one. And the liberation of manners, in alliance with the law of unintended consequences, has had effects that the reformers didn’t expect.”

Ask yourself, how many rehab programs will Harveywood need to attend to get across this lesson of self-control? For the power elites, this formula is gender neutral. That legendary Baroness of Corporatist feminism, Leona Helmsley stated in the Nov. 1990 issue of Playboy.

“There is definitely a double standard for men and women: When a man loses his temper, he is aggressive; I’m a pushy bitch. A man is confident and authoritative; I’m conceited and power-mad. Men don’t want women getting to the top. Period.”

Employing the Weinstein model, the political class exemplifies the proven substitute to viagra; namely, no term limits. When John Conyers robed in mere underwear provides ample qualifications for re-election, you know the House is a brothel of disrepute.

These signs of deviance are just symptoms of the core factor that perpetuates the revolving door of political bribery. Achieving influence by perverting the popular narrative corrupts both the public and the power brokers, who seek to buy politicians and the government that ostensibly, administer the rules.

The general society is mostly a non-participant factor in the great game of delusion that conditions the populace to accept the psychopathic culture that devalues all human life and degrades each individual. The consequences of a debasement of moral principles are demonstrated all around us.

If women are serious about earning the respect of men, their best step forward is to adopt a pro-life value system. If men want to earn the respect of females they should treat women as if each were their mother. Finally, for those who are confused as to their natural sexual gender, grow up and accept reality.

"I Love You; Focus On The Future": Paul Tudor Jones Humiliated After Weinstein Support Email Revealed

Late last night the New York Times published a comprehensive article delving into the powerful support network of Harvey Weinstein, a network on which he apparently relied to help cover up decades of sexual assaults.  Among the allies discussed in the article was none other than legendary hedge fund investor, and former Weinstein & Co. board member, Paul Tudor Jones.

But, unlike other Weinstein enablers who jumped ship when the tales of his monstrous behavior went public, Jones instead decided to pen an email expressing his support of the disgraced Hollywood executive saying "the good news is, this will go away sooner than you think and it will be forgotten!" just before signing "I love you."

Privately, at least one expressed loyalty. On Oct. 7, the day before he was ousted from his own company, Mr. Weinstein received an email from the investor Paul Tudor Jones.

“I love you,” he wrote, while detailing the steps Mr. Weinstein should take to rehabilitate his image. Mr. Jones told The Times that he condemned Mr. Weinstein’s alleged misconduct and wanted to encourage him to get help. “Focus on the future as America loves a great comeback story,” he wrote to the movie producer.

He finished: “The good news is, this will go away sooner than you think and it will be forgotten!”

PTJ

Alas, in hindsight, Jones has seemingly now come to the conclusion that offering up his unwavering support for a man who has been exposed as an horrific sexual assaulter might have been a bad idea...though only after some backlash from the folks who work for him.  Here"s more from the Wall Street Journal:

Hedge-fund billionaire Paul Tudor Jones took the unusual step of explaining his relationship with Harvey Weinstein, after a report indicated that Mr. Jones supported the disgraced Hollywood mogul as sexual harassment allegations unfolded earlier this year.

In a letter to employees Wednesday, Mr. Jones wrote: “Please also understand that I first learned about the revelations about Harvey only as they began to be reported in the media. They were 100% a surprise to me.”

Mr. Jones, 63 years old, referred to Mr. Weinstein’s actions as “horribly wrong” and described the entertainment executive as “a friend I believed too long and defended too long,” according to the letter, which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

“Perhaps in your own life you have faced a similar dilemma—how to react to a friend who is revealed to be someone other than the person you believed him or her to be,” Mr. Jones wrote.

As you may recall, back in October Jones was the only Weinstein & Co. board member, aside from Harvey himself, who refused to sign a statement that ordered an independent investigation into allegations made against the firm"s co-founder.  Per Deadline:

A statement released by the TWC board earlier today said that the company has ordered an independent investigation into the allegations against its co-founder and co-chairman. While the members endorsed Weinstein’s “already-announced decision to take an indefinite leave of absence,” they stopped short of terminating the controversial co-chairman.

The statement was signed by four of the nine board members, “constituting a majority of the Board,” per the company — Bob Weinstein, Tarak Ben Ammar, Lance Maerov and Richard Koenigsberg. Of the other five, three have resigned. One of the remaining two, Paul Tudor Jones, opted not to sign the statement; the other is Harvey Weinstein.

Of course, Jones" argument that he was "100% surprised" by the allegations against Harvey would seem unlikely given that it has since been revealed that his transgressions were well known across Hollywood.  Moreover, as a board member it would only seem logical that Jones would have had some knowledge of all the legal settlements his firm was constantly paying out to protect it"s co-chairman. All of which begs the logical question of what dirt, if any, Harvey had on Jones that demanded such steadfast loyalty?

“We Have A District Attorney Who Consistently REFUSES To Prosecute Powerful Sexual Predators” New York Prosecutors Accused Of Stalling Harvey Weinstein Rape Investigation

statist-vance

The Manhattan district attorney’s office is “dragging its feet” in its investigation into rape allegations against disgraced liberal Hollywood figure Harvey Weinstein, with the lawyer for the accuser noting that the cities district attorney already has a history of refusing to file charges against powerful sexual predators.

Actress Paz de la Huerta first accused Weinstein of sexually assaulting her on two different occasions in her New York City apartment in a widely read Vanity Fair piece which led to an investigation being launched by police who originally publicly stated that there was indeed a case against the alleged predator.

Fast forwarding a month later and no charges have been filed with the stalling getting so out of hand that the actresses lawyer, Carrie Goldberg, decided to release a statement in which she pressured the DA Cyrus Vance Jr. while also noting his past refusal to charge Weinstein and the possibility that it was connected to the fact that his lawyer had contributed to Vance’s campaign.

“We are very concerned about the unbelievable similarities here with what went down in 2015 when prosecutors dropped a strong case against Weinstein,” Goldberg said in a statement, according to NBC News. “We are deeply concerned about the foot-dragging in convening a grand jury.”

In the statement Goldberg said she was “throwing down the gauntlet” for her client by calling on Vance’s perceived bias and is demanding that a grand jury is convened by the end of next week.

“”We have a DA who consistently refuses to prosecute powerful sexual predators,” she courageously noted. “We have a DA who receives campaign donations from Harvey Weinstein and his attorneys – the DA must stop being complicit in Harvey Weinstein escaping punishment.”

Amazingly, NBC News only quoted one NYPD source whose job was apparently to specifically cast doubt on the accusers claims rather than provide any actual insight. Keep in mind, as noted above, police already claimed last month that they had enough evidence for a case.

“The case was weak from the beginning and she was not steadfast,” the source told NBC. “There are also time gaps that are unexplained and it seems like there is no reasonable expectation of moving forward.”

If that is not a classic case of covering for your DA I don’t know what is.

Regardless, there is no denying the fact that Vance let Weinstein off the hook in 2015 and now, especially when you consider the dozens and dozens of allegations that have surfaced against the serial Hollywood predator, the optics do not look good for the embattled district attorney.

LA, NYC Detectives Collaborate On Weinstein Probes As Arrests Loom

Detectives in New York and Los Angeles have been hinting for weeks that they’re close to arresting disgraced studio head Harvey Weinstein for one of any number of credible sexual assault claims that both fall within the statute of limitations and involve accusers who can provide the evidence prosecutors need to make pursuing a case worthwhile.

As the various investigations into Weinstein wend toward completion, the Guardian is reporting that police departments in several disparate jurisdictions are collaborating to help strengthen their cases and ensure that the maximum number of prosecutable cases are brought against the one-time mogul.

Detectives in several cities investigating Harvey Weinstein for sex crimes are likely to be collaborating as they build evidence and assess whether the film producer can be arrested and charged, experts believe.

Investigators in New York, London and Los Angeles have opened criminal cases against Weinstein in the last six weeks, as the disgraced producer faces lawsuits on both sides of the Atlantic following a flood of accusations of sexual misconduct.

Los Angeles police department (LAPD) detectives have interviewed witnesses in preparation for presenting a case to the district attorney’s office. The DA will then decide whether to press criminal charges over accusations that Weinstein raped an unnamed actress in a hotel in Beverly Hills in 2013, according to David Ring, a lawyer for the alleged victim.

Many believe the NYPD will be the first to act, if only because Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. quashed an earlier investigation into Weinstein before accepting a campaign donation from Weinstein lawyer David Boies. The LAPD and Beverly Hills police are also expected to pursue criminal charges. But police in London are also reportedly preparing to file charges based on the testimony from three women who’ve accused Weinstein of rape.

Of course, as we’ve pointed out in the past, the pending criminal cases against Weinstein are only the beginning of his legal problems. Many of the more than 80 women who have come forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault or harassment plan on filing civil suits, which are much easier to prove than criminal cases, and often result in out-of-court settlements.

The first civil suits targeting Weinstein, and his former company Weinstein & Co. for abetting his monstrous behavior, are already being filed.

The sheer volume of complaints against Weinstein, Christensen said, will be much more easily introduced in civil cases, where rules about evidence involving a defendant’s character and the standard of proof are less stringent than in criminal court.

The UK lawyer Jill Greenfield is expected to file civil lawsuits on behalf of a number of women in the high court in London in due course, having written to Weinstein demanding settlements but without hearing back so far.

People are contacting me,” she said. “I’m expecting to coordinate a claim for a number of victims."

Following the decision not to charge Weinstein in connection with her case, Ambra Battilana Gutierrez signed an agreement in which the film producer paid her $1m.

“I thought I needed to support my mom and brother, and how my life was being destroyed, and I did it,” she told the New Yorker earlier this week.

The actor Dominique Huett filed the first civil suit since complaints against Weinstein came pouring out in early October, in the New York Times. She is claiming $5m in Los Angeles superior court, alleging that the Weinstein Company “aided and abetted” Weinstein in “repeated acts of sexual misconduct".

Of course, Weinstein has been hiding from the world – reportedly wearing disguises when he ventures out in public – communicating with the world only through his defense attorneys, Ben Brafman and Blair Berk. With penury and incarceration looking almost inevitable at this point, he’ll need all the legal guidance he can afford.

We Don"t Trust Each Other Anymore

Authored by Taylor Lewis via Mises Canada,

To channel Tina Turner briefly, what’s trust got to do with keeping a nation? Everything, it turns out.

Despite an uptick over the past year, Americans’ trust in the key institutions is fading. Congress, big business, national news outlets, the criminal justice system–the organizations that influence our public life most are those the least trusted.

The presidency, now presided by over by the trash-talking and tweeting Donald Trump, continues to see its confidence rating plummet. The media’s near-constant negative reporting doesn’t help Trump’s image.

Events in recent days are guaranteed to worsen domestic relations. Truth in character is a diminishing trait. Blame, as ever, lies on both sides.

The Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson’s latest offering highlights the abundance of lies coming from the White House. Everything from failed campaign disclosures to clumsy press hearing answers get Gerson’s goat. A swamp scribbler par excellence, the Post writer embodies establishment opinion on Trump. And while his criticisms are overwrought - the Trump Administration no more frames facts to create a more favorable image than its predecessor - they represent how many liberals view the President.

Still, Gerson isn’t all wrong. One of his targets - Christian support for Alabama Senate candidate accused lecher Roy Moore - is on the mark. The accusations lobbed against Moore haven’t been fully verified, but it’s hard to think so many similar stories would emerge, all depicting the same scenario. Moore hasn’t denied his predilection for minors, either.

Moore’s behavior doesn’t automatically bar Christian support. But it should cause concern. Yet Christian evangelicals have embraced the godly judge even more since the allegations were put in print. “Many of the people who should be supplying the moral values required by self-government have corrupted themselves,” Gerson writes.

It’s never worth debasing the faith for the earthly practice of politics. Unfortunately, some Christians elevate politics - and politicians - to a divine level. Is it any wonder then that secular liberals would look disdainfully upon politically passionate Christians?

For all the sins of hypocrisy on the right, the left is equally guilty, if not more.

Liberals’ recent about-face on Bill Clinton’s sexual predation is the mea culpa of the 21st century. For decades, Democrat operatives and media flunkies have waved away charges that Clinton raped, fondled, and aggressively pursued women other than his wife.

The outing of Harvey Weinstein as a gross pervert changed all that.

The smutty scandal unearthed by Ronan Farrow was more than sordid revelations of Hollywood hijinks–it’s become a cultural turning point. Going forward, we’ll look back at the pre-Weinstein days as a time more innocent and less corrupt, fictive as it was.

As liberals come forth and express contrition over doubting Clinton’s victims, it’s hard to take their compunction seriously, especially when they waged a propaganda war painting Republicans as theocratic tyrants who want all women to return to the detestable model of June Cleaver. Chris Hayes, Matthew Yglesias, Michelle Goldberg, and others are playing the public for fools if they think that twenty years of playing offensive line for QB Willie will easily be forgotten.

Then there’s Lena Dunham, the boisterous voice of socially-conscious millennials. The “Girls” creator has championed herself as a voice of women and an ally of the abused–until it came knocking on her own door. When a writer for her hit show was accused of raping actress Aurora Perrineau, Dunham snapped to his defense, tweeting “first tenet of my politics is to hold up the people who have held me up.”

Not a bad message. Except that Dunham once claimed women never lie about rape. This selective feminism isn’t doing liberals like Lena any favors. If that wasn’t enough, the very woman who celebrated the extinction of white men was just accused of being a closet racist by a colleague.

Dunham’s a wily example, but not wholly exceptional. Minnesota senator Al Franken has been accused by two women of inappropriate groping. Actor Kevin Spacey was fired from a host of gigs for preying on young men. George Takei is fighting off allegations of imposing himself on men. Russell Simmons has been outed for forcing a 17-year-old to perform oral sex on him. All share a common characteristic: They are outspoken leftists.

There is a devious pattern to all of this. Many of the most vocal ideologues end up hiding dark secrets. Their sanctimony makes it harder to accept our imperfect nature and, in turn, see one another for genuine people to work things out with.

In Eugene O’Neill’s Christian-themed play Days Without End, the demonic doppelgänger Loving mocks the protagonist’s search for higher meaning, declaring that “there is not truth for men, that human life is unimportant and meaningless.”

Without truth, we are base creatures, festering in a bloody power struggle.

“To abandon facts is to abandon freedom,” writes Timothy Snyder. “If nothing is true, then all is spectacle.”

It isn’t just spectacle–it’s a dark void without purpose. And if man lacks purpose, his country, by default, must as well.

At their core, nations are composed of a shared set of truths. When those beliefs diverge to the point of irreconcilability, a schism becomes inevitable. Divided houses don’t stand.

The moral hypocrisy on display by the country’s leading influencers is shredding what little commonality Americans still have. How can a society last when its members no longer believe their neighbors are acting in good faith?

Former Obama Admin Official Offers To Buy Weinstein Co. For $275 Million

One former Obama administration official is trying to engineer a feminist takeover of Weinstein Co., the embattled “mini-major” Hollywood studio that has been spiraling toward bankruptcy since one of its founders, Harvey Weinstein, was exposed for a decades long history of sexual harassment and assault.

According to Reuters, Maria Contreras-Sweet, the former head of the Small Business Administration between 2014 and 2017, has offered to acquire Weinstein Co., a spokeswoman for the U.S. film and TV studio said on Sunday.

A consortium of investors assembled by Contreras-Sweet has put together an offer of $275 million to buy the embattled studio, which has seen revenues plunge since the name Weinstein became synonymous with Hollywood’s coercive, predatory culture. Presently, both the LAPD and NYPD have suggested that they’re nearly ready to indict Weinstein for a host of sex crimes, including at least two rapes.

Weinstein Co. has had difficulty securing short-term financing, which is one reason why its owners would probably be amenable to such a generous bid. Talks to secure a $35 million lifeline from Fortress Co. last month fell apart. And though the studio did secure a cash injection from Thomas Barrick Jr.’s Colony Capital, the firm ultimately backed away from a deal to purchase most of Weinstein Co.’s major assets.

Maria Contreras-Sweet

Contreras-Sweet’s bid comes after the movie studio secured a $20 million cash infusion from the sale of the children’s movie “Paddington 2” last week to Warner Brothers Pictures, a unit of Time Warner Inc. The Weinstein Co.’s co-chairman Harvey Weinstein stepped down last month following sexual assault allegations.

So far, at least 84 women have accused Weinstein of harassment, groping and assault, all of which took place over the last three decades. Worse still, a story published earlier in this month by the New Yorker delved into Weinstein’s practice of hiring private security contractors to intimidate his victims into remaining silent.

In a brilliant twist that would help ameliorate much of the stigma surrounding the studio and its legacy, Contreras-Sweet’s plan calls for installing a majority-female board at The Weinstein Co. Her offer includes an approximately $30 million fund for the alleged victims of Harvey Weinstein, the source added. The fund would be set up through a mediation process, according to the source.

The spokeswoman for the Weinstein Co. didn’t comment on the details of the offer it received. A spokesman for Contreras-Sweet declined to comment.

US President Barack Obama in 2014 selected Contreras-Sweet as the head of the SBA, which makes loans to small businesses and helps them get government contracts. She had previously founded ProAmerica Bank, a Latino-owned community bank in Los Angeles, which focuses on lending to small- and medium-sized Latino businesses.  The SBA is now run by Trump appointee Linda McMahon.

Contreras-Sweet’s offer is more than generous, especially considering that Goldman Sachs, which owned a small equity stake in the studio, recently marked its holdings down to zero, reflecting the view that the studio and its assets have become toxic in the wake of the Weinstein scandal.

The proceeds from the “Paddington 2” sale will enable the Weinstein Co to continue to operate until January, the source said. Investment firm Fortress Investment Group LLC was considering lending to the film and TV studio, but those talks ended without a deal earlier this month.

More than 20 other potential bidders are analyzing The Weinstein Co’s financial data, the source said. The studio has $375 million in debt, including a $45 million loan from AI International Holdings Limited, an affiliate of billionaire Len Blavatnik’s industrial group Access Industries, the person said. Much of the debt is backed by the company’s film and TV assets.

Corey Feldman Begins Naming Hollywood Pedophiles, Reports them to LAPD (VIDEO)

Corey Feldman Begins Naming Hollywood Pedophiles, Reports them to LAPD (VIDEO) | Corey-Feldman-2-759x500 | Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

Corey Feldman has been making headlines as he has continued to come forward on a subject he has been passionate about for years: exposing Hollywood pedophilia.

Although some are suggesting Corey is doing this for attention, this problem is very real and we’re beginning to see it unravel all over Hollywood. It began recently when Harvey Weinstein was outed by many female celebrities as a sexual abuser. It then moved onto others including allegations towards Kevin Spacey about sexual misconduct in his past as well as recently on the set of House of Cards.

After raising just under $200,000 to help protect himself, Feldman has been making media appearances talking about the reality of this pedophilia problem and what he has done about it in the past while others completely ignored it.

During an interview with host Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today, Feldman was asked why he hasn’t come forward with the names already, Feldman responded “I’ve told the police, in fact, if anybody wants to go back to 1993, I sat there with the Santa Barbara police, I gave them the names, they’re on record. They have all of this information but they were scanning Michael Jackson. All they cared about was trying to find something on Michael Jackson.”

Lauer went on to challenge Feldman about the way he was raising awareness about pedophilia in Hollywood and Feldman replied, “There are thousands of people in Hollywood who have this same information. Why is it all on me? Why is it that if I don’t release the names in the next two months, six months, a year, I’m the bad guy? I’m the victim here. I’m the one who’s been abused. I’m the one who’s trying to come forward and do something about it.”

Corey Feldman has been criticized for the fact that he said he would name names in his book Coreyography: A Memoirbut never did. To this Corey states his publisher would not let him.

This here is part of the issue. Publishers have to protect themselves because they don’t want to get into legal issues with high profile people being named. The issue of pedophilia in Hollywood continues on at large because no one wants to face having to hold people accountable.

The Beginning of Something Huge

When p(i)zzagate hit reddit over a year ago, it moved quickly and traveled fast. In the end, much of the public were convinced by media that p(i)zzagate was all fake. I truly believe that through this string of admissions and outings in hollywood, we will later learn that p(i)zzagate was in fact real; and that this issue goes deep into politics and the world’s elite as well.

As critical thinking continues on in these recent revelations, people have been suggesting that by focusing so hard on the music and film industry, it is pulling attention away from the elite pedophilia that exists in Washington and beyond. While this is an interesting point, it is important to bring up the fact that the people in the film and music industry are essentially one step down in the pyramid from these ruling elite. Admissions and exposure of these individuals will lead to uncovering what goes on at higher levels as well.

We can already see the relationships and closeness that exist between these high-level politicians and many of these people who are being outed as pedophiles. Therefore the jump from you now outing these people to outing the Washington politicians is not that difficult and will happen eventually. This is a step in the right direction.

Harvey Weinstein & Hillary Clinton

Through this process I also strongly believe we are going to be given a deeper understanding into the innocence of Michael Jackson and the pedophilia claims against him. As Corey Feldman has stated Michael Jackson did not have the same demeanour nor actions of pedophiles he interacted with. Corey Feldman has gone on record multiple times stating Michael is innocent.

The biggest question, if Corey Feldman had given names to the LAPD years ago and yet all they did was focus on trying to find something on Michael Jackson, why was nothing done? We want to believe there is no ruling elite, that powerful people aren’t doing things to protect themselves and rule over others yet our world suggests, in every way, that that’s precisely what’s happening.

‘Powerful’ people are protected and yet the ones who go out and start to threaten that power via their strong voice get labeled with the type of allegations you can’t publicly come back from like rape or pedophilia. This is what happened with Michael Jackson.

If you aren’t aware, Michael had said on a number of occasions that he was about to reveal a secret to the world on his latest tour before he died. He had also stated that he felt he was going to be killed for what he was revealing to people.

It appears as though when someone is threatening the power structure/deep state, actions are sometimes taken to try and silence or shut these people out. Sometimes they’re even killed. I believe that Michael’s pedophile label was his first warning from this Elite to say ‘keep quiet and you’ll be okay, but we’re destroying your image.’ Michael chose to continue sharing the truth and I believe he was killed for it.

Harvey Weinstein Hired Ex-Mossad Spies to Silence Sex Victims: Report

(ANTIMEDIA)  Harvey Weinstein, Miramax co-founder and now-disgraced Hollywood big shot, allegedly assembled an “army of spies” — including private detectives and former intelligence officers — in an effort to silence his accusers before they could speak out, according to a report from the New Yorker published Monday.

In early October, the New Yorker published an exhaustive piece from Ronan Farrow that truly kicked off the cascade of sexual harassment allegations, currently coming from dozens of women. This ultimately cost Weinstein his place among the movie industry elite. Farrow also wrote the New Yorker report published Monday.

According to Farrow, as far back as fall of 2016, Weinstein had been using lawyers, security firms, and even journalists under his influence in a campaign “to stop the publication of the abuse allegations” that would eventually lead to his downfall.

These “spies” were tasked with collecting information on Weinstein’s would-be accusers, then using the data to create “psychological profiles that sometimes focused on their personal or sexual histories.” According to the New Yorker, the idea was to use these tools to discredit or intimidate the accusers.

One of the firms Weinstein used, Farrow writes, was Black Cube, an Israeli-based company comprised mostly of former intelligence officers, including some from Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency. On Black Cube’s homepage, the firm describes itself:

“A select group of veterans from the Israeli elite intelligence units that specialises in tailored solutions to complex business and litigation challenges.”

According to Farrow, using false identities,  two investigators from Black Cube met with actress Rose McGowan — who would go on to accuse Weinstein of rape — with the purpose of extracting information. One of them, a former officer of the Israel Defense Forces, claimed to be a women’s rights activist and was able to secretly record at least four conversations with McGowan.

Farrow also writes that Weinstein had journalists reporting back to him about the kinds of information his accusers were detailing and would pressure ex-employees of his companies to aid in his data gathering operation.

Unsurprisingly, Weinstein is denying the allegations.  Following Monday’s report, his spokeswoman, Sallie Hofmeister, said:

“It is a fiction to suggest that any individuals were targeted or suppressed at any time.”

All this comes as the Television Academy, which is responsible for the Emmy Awards, has voted to expel Weinstein for life. The treatment is similar to what he’s recently received from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Weinstein Facing 6th Sex-Crime Investigation As Former Studio Hurtles Toward Bankruptcy

This must be some kind of record.

The number of publicly disclosed sex-crime investigations targeting disgraced Hollywood studio head Harvey Weinstein has risen to six following media reports that the Beverly Hills Police Department has opened an investigation of its own, while the New York Police Department has opened a second investigation.

Investigations involving the LAPD, Scotland Yard, and FBI were reported last month. In addition to investigating harassment allegations against Weinstein, the Beverly Hills Police Department is also investigating similar allegations involving director James Toback. The department said in a press release Tuesday night that they have received multiple complaints about both the movie mogul Weinstein and the director Toback and are investigating the alleged improprieties. According to a running tally maintained by the LA Times. Toback has been accused of harassment and abuse by more 200 women. Meanwhile, more than 80 women who have accused Weinstein of harassment, groping or rape dating back to the 1970s.

Actresses Asia Argento, Rose McGowan, Lucia Evans and Lysette Anthony have all publicly stated that they were raped or forced to perform a sex act by Weinstein. In Los Angeles, police are investigating an Italian model-actress’ accusations of being forced by Weinstein to have sex with him in her hotel room in 2013.

British police are investigating 11 allegations of sexual assaults against Weinstein that span several decades, sources said Tuesday.

Authorities said the alleged attacks involved seven women and that nine were reported to have occurred on British soil. Three women have stepped forward within the last week, British police said, including one who claimed she was attacked in the early 1990s.

ABC News was first to report that the NYPD has two active cases involving Weinstein.

The alleged victims are Lucia Evans, the actress who previously told the New Yorker Weinstein exposed himself and physically forced her to perform oral sex on him, and another woman who wasn’t named. Importantly, neither case is subject to New York’s statute of limitations.

However, the NYPD reportedly isn’t investigating allegations made by Annabella Sciorra, the actress who went public to the New Yorker saying Weinstein raped her in her apartment in the 1990s.

As part of the ongoing investigation, NYPD detectives traveled in the last two weeks to Montreal to interview a witness, the department said. Detectives have also considered, but have not yet traveled elsewhere, including to Los Angeles. The department"s travels and assistance to departments in other jurisdictions must be connected to the New York City cases.

ABC reports the NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have received multiple calls to their sex crimes hotlines concerning the disgraced producer. The vast majority of accusations have involved alleged groping or forcible sexual conduct, which are subject to strict statute of limitations and cannot be prosecuted today.

Meanwhile, as Weinstein moves ahead with efforts to sue his former company for terminating him, the New York Post is reporting The Weinstein Company’s talks to obtain a $35 million lifeline from Fortress Investment Group have stalled amid concerns about the flailing Hollywood studio’s finances.

The chances of a deal getting done have recently slid to “roughly 50 percent,” a source told the Post. Bloomberg had reported last week that the financing was imminent.

It was also reported last week that Colony Capital, led by Trump adviser Thomas Barrick Jr., had backed out of plans to purchase the Weinstein Co’s major assets after providing it with a temporary cash infusion.

While the Post cautions that the situation involving Fortress is still fluid, without the money, the company could soon be forced into bankruptcy.
