It isn’t new news that YouTube, Google, Facebook, and Twitter have taken their censorship to a whole new level in recent weeks. But investigative journalist Ben Swann has now proven that alternative media sites have been laying out conspiracy facts, not theories about what’s being done to them to silence their dissent.
In many instances, the social media sites weren’t just censoringcontent they disliked. They went as far as taking down entire YouTube channels, such as Mike Adams’ Health Ranger. They removed complete video and content libraries that often contained hundreds or thousands of programs all under the guise of “combating hate speech” and “fake news.”
YouTube’s purge is being done to any channel that questions the establishment’s official narrative or offers another view on a scientific theory. Often called “conspiracy theorists” or “pseudoscientists” as a means of shutting down the ideas, these tech giants are actually doing nothing more than proving those they censor correct. -SHTFPlan
“The things that are going to be blocked are not going to be fake stories. The things that are going to be blocked and censored, the things they are going to keep from people is going to be stuff they just don’t want you to focus on or know about.”
Alternative media’s warnings about Nazi-style censorship were met with criticism, doubt, and haughty derision in many mainstream media quarters, but as it turns out, those censored were not only correct, but the warnings were just the tip of the censorship iceberg. Investigative journalist Ben Swann noted in All News Pipeline, there is indeed a concerted effort by the Alt-Left social media giants to deep-six conservative, libertarian, and independent voices of liberty as part of an overall effort to silence their voices.
The notion of liberty and freedom is so much more easy to grasp than the one of government authoritarianism the media glorifies and propagates to brainwash the masses. Hence, the bold censorship of anyone calling for the liberty and freedom that all human beings deserve – the most basic of human rights and dignity.
Swann goes into the details that all of us are aware of by now, saying that the new moderators at YouTube are going further than simply “flagging” content they don’t like. They are completely removing channels that question the establishment in any manner. “So it’s not a conspiracy. There is no question that in fact, human moderators were pulling down ‘right-wing’ or conservative content,” says Swann.
“There is, in fact, a very coordinated effort by a number of organizations like Media Matters for America and the Southern Poverty Law Center to silence voices with which they do not agree. For instance, I know firsthand as these organizations have really attacked me personally, trying to silence my voice. Full disclosure here: I am, ideologically, a libertarian, neither on the left or on the right. But according to these groups, anyways, I am “alt-right”. A dog whistle, which actually means a white nationalist, which I am not at all. But that doesn’t stop them from slandering me…the goal of these organizations is to silence dissent not just from the right, but from the left as well. In fact, they silence anyone who is not part of the establishment structure.”
Swann then goes on to agree with a sentiment expressed by SHTFPlan that the next big things to prevent censorship, are decentralized platforms, not begging for the regulation of the platforms that are actively censoring dissent.
We disagree with Adams that more regulations of the internet by the government is a solution. The establishment is more likely than not in on all of this and leading the censorship charge. Their regulations will actually only enhance censorship of non-establishment and freedom-minded ideals while adding to an already unending number of laws.
See what we did there? We disagreed with Adams while still calling for him to have the right to freely express his ideas. Free speech is not some magical concept. Our idea is a decentralized video platform like DTube. It’s a much better solution than adding to the ever-expanding tyrannical regulations of…everything. Regulation of the currency is why Bitcoin arose in the first place, and snuffing out those platforms who kill basic human rights such as free speech should be a more worthy goal over increasing regulations. –SHTFPlan, March 6, 2018
DTube and Steemit were suggested by Swann, and both are decentralized. The future is one of fewer regulations. As freedom becomes more desirable and the establishment hardens down on attempts to coerce the public into accepting slavery, the censorship of dissent will be the undoing of Facebook and YouTube, while decentralization will take hold in almost every aspect of life.
YouTube is now claiming that its censorship of non-left-leaning accounts was an accident. They are placing the blame on “over-eager moderators” and say they aren’t really censoring anyone.
Let’s call this explanation from YouTube what it is: total and complete BS.
So, let’s get this straight, YouTube: your moderators “accidentally” gave Infowars, (a channel with over 2.2 million subscribers) two strikes, banned them from uploading videos for two weeks, and threatened a complete removal of the account on accident? No one’s buying it. Least of all those who have been censored.
According to YouTube, the whole censorship was just an accident caused by inexperienced new employees.
If those questioning the media’s “official narrative” of the events of the Florida school shooting needed any more evidence that they are on the right track, they’ve just gotten it. YouTube and Twitter are now scrubbing users who dare to question the students demanding gun control and the media’s account of the school shooting.
According to Natural News, starting a few days ago, both Twitter and YouTube began scrubbing all videos and tweets that don’t follow the “official narrative” on the Florida school shooting. Anyone who questions the wisdom of the school students-turned-propagandists (who were all probably eating Tide pods a week ago) is immediately banned and silenced with censorship. Only one side of this “debate” is allowed to exist: The side that worships the government and demands that all law-abiding Americans surrender their self-defense firearms because a group of traumatized school kids were shot at by their own lunatic classmate. –SHTFPlan
Make no mistake; YouTube isn’t apologizing for the “accidental” censorship of ideas they don’t like either. They are simply asking all to believe it was purely human error. A spokesperson told Bloomberg:
As we work to hire rapidly and ramp up our policy enforcement teams throughout 2018, newer members may misapply some of our policies resulting in mistaken removals. We’re continuing to enforce our existing policies regarding harmful and dangerous content, they have not changed. We’ll reinstate any videos that were removed in error.
That’s an insincere statement at best, considering most of the videos were not harmful and didn’t contain any dangerous content; they were simply questioning the government and the mainstream media’s official narrative of the shooting events that took place in Florida. And when an event is used to limit the rights of those who committed no crime (aka, gun control), people should have every opportunity to have their voices heard and not be censored. They should have the right to seek out information that goes against the crowd.
Maybe YouTube finally got the message that people are fed up with their East Berlin tactics of silencing anyone they disagree with, so they tried to lie to cover up the fact that they were acting like the very Nazis they claim to loathe. But on the other hand, in light of Donald Trump’s comments on gun control, many (not all) right-leaning political pundits are silent. Isn’t it time to condemn the destruction of rights regardless of whom is doing it?

Mike Adams, The Health Ranger, has come out and said what many are thinking. He says the left has become an “obedience cult,” and there’s probably a reason for that.
Militant leftists have been known for shutting down the speech of conservatives or others that don’t agree with their authoritarian ways. But when the government is your god, and someone dares suggest an alternative, you’re vilified and ostracized. Current leftism in America is “a legitimate comparison to the rise of the Nazi state in Germany,” says Adams.
Nazi stands for “national socialist.” It was a socialist regime that gave rise to Adolf Hitler and the hundreds of thousands of order followers who executed on demand. “Under the Nazi regime, you had to be obedient to the state and the media. And the media, of course, functioned as just an extension of the state,” said Adams. And we are seeing these parallels now. People honestly think they cannot survive with the government. That’s actually pretty terrifying when you stop and ponder those implications.
“Under Nazism, there was tremendous peer pressure. You had to go along with the Nazis in order to be accepted to be able to move up into high society…they thought they were better than everyone else, thus, the idea that they had of a ‘master race’ or a ‘superior civilization’ made sense to them. Now that is exactly reflecting what you see in the left across America today.” Adams used Jimmy Kimmel as an example. Kimmel was asked why all late-night TV shows are hosted by leftists, and Kimmel replied that Republicans aren’t smart enough to host those types of shows.
This thinking that others are somehow more stupid or less of a human being for disagreeing or not showing the god-government the right respect is exactly how a genocidal mindset forms. Anyone who isn’t a leftist is considered to be an “inferior race” and we’ve seen how the left reacts and can watch this play out in the media.
“Think about this too,” says Adams. “The Nazis justified their genocide of reportedly 6 million Jews by saying to themselves they thought they were the ‘master superior race’ and they thought Jews were inferior. Thus, they wanted to, in their minds, clean up their human ‘master race’ that they were trying to put into a utopia. Utopian Nazi civilization that’s radical left-wing fascism. But to do that, they had to eliminate certain groups of people and Jews were one of those groups.”
In the United States, you are seeing leftists call for the execution and murder of individuals they don’t like. And it’s setting a horrifying precedence; so much so, that we may be doomed to repeat history.
(INTELLIHUB) — In yet another shocking display of how far the mainstream media is willing to go to take out Donald Trump, various news outlets have essentially aligned themselves with the violent, left-wing anti-fascist group Antifa.
Yahoo News, CNN, and numerous other publications have all published uncritical pieces on the transparently violent group over the last 48 hours while at the same time attacking the president with “fake news” claims that he didn’t disavow white supremacists in his numerous statements to the nation after the horrific car attack in Virginia.
In perhaps the most shockingly blatant piece of propaganda on the group, Yahoo News published a piece by Caitlin Dickson that gushed over the “combative leftists”, even going as far as to include a photo of a “happy” group of warriors with their fists raised.
“Short for antifacist, the term “antifa” refers to a secretive movement of combative leftists, including many self-described anarchists, who are ready and willing to use violence in order to fight white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and others they deem to be fascists,” Dickson wrote.
In her quest to legitimize the group, Dickson specifically downplays their origins, leaving out key parts that would obviously turn off the causal reader.
“Like the authoritarian movements they seek to destroy, the antifa’s origins can be traced back to Europe in the 1920s and 30s. Since the end of World War II, antifa activity has ebbed and flowed along with that of neo-Nazis, skinheads and other hate movements that have sprung up around the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States,” she continued.
As Breitbart noted in an article about the piece, “In fact, as the avowedly Marxist-socialist periodical Jacobin magazine explains in a much more honest, if not less enthusiastic, appraisal, Antifa, originally known in its native Germany as Antifaschistische Aktion, was founded as the militant wing of the German Communist Party. In the 1930s, it was known to be every bit as violent as its Nazi opponents. After World War Two, Antifa groups re-formed in Germany to collaborate with Soviet communists on subduing the country and rooting out its past to create a new socialist utopia. They were active in Communist-controlled East Germany until that country’s Stalinist leadership got fed up, broke the groups up, and sent many of their leaders to gulags.”
To be fair, if you are writing a fawning piece you most likely wouldn’t want the general public to know the above noted stunning facts.
Dickson goes on to write that, “They prefer direct action: They pressure venues to deny white supremacists space to meet,” while completely failing to mention the actual violence that is the “direct action”.
For their part, noted anti-Trump “news” network CNN has gone into overdrive in their shilling for the violent leftist group, with at least three different examples of their employees either expressing support for or downplaying actions carried out by Antifa.
First the network wrote an “explainer” piece on the group that literally failed to mention any of the violence they have carried out, instead opting to causally mention “property damage” for the reasons they remain controversial.
“In the section, “Why are they controversial?” CNN states that “the group is known for causing damage to property during protests.” This, in fact, is only one key reason why Antifa is “controversial” — the other is violence,” The Daily Caller reported.
“Antifa’s violence ranges from stabbing a police horse in the neck to beating people with bike locks. Antifa physically assaulted a reporter with The Daily Caller News Foundation in January and a search on YouTube reveals hours of footage displaying Antifa violence from protests across the nation. Antifa thugs are additionally known for assaulting police officers and chasing down fleeing people in order to beat them.”
CNN Correspondent Sara Sidner then took to the airwaves in an obvious attempt at legitimizing violence as long as its against anyone the left deems to be racist.
“There’s a group of anti-fascist called the black bloc, which do tend to get violent,” Sidner admitted. “Their idea is, look, non-violence hasn’t worked, we are going to try to stop this.”
“But, they wouldn’t have been there, they wouldn’t have been anywhere near there had it not been for the fact that white supremacists and neo-Nazis were out there scaring the living daylights out of most of the people in that town,” she continued.
Lastly, the publicly anti-Trump CNN host Don Lemon had to join in, downplaying literally everything about the group in another unhinged rant about the president.
“Everyone was sitting there watching, saying here we go, his true colors are coming out. To equate a group that is a protest group, two protests group. Yes, they are both protest groups, calling antifa. They were there protesting fascism. Maybe their tactics weren’t exactly right. It is messy. There is a difference between the two groups,” Lemon claimed.
Keep in mind all the documented attacks carried out by Antifa. To people like Lemon, as long as they are against the president they are apparently allies.

If there is one thing that the left and the right can agree on, it might be this: We are living in uncertain times. Negative news stories flood our newsfeeds and screens and radios and newspaper pages every day. It includes cyberattacks, tension between global superpowers, government corruption, catastrophic weather events, terrorism, mass murders, attacks on elected officials and law enforcement, populist uprisings, angry protests, rampant poverty, and general unrest—often more than one of them on the same day. It leaves a lot of people shaking their heads and wondering how we can turn things around, and how it can possibly all end. Many feel unnerved or frightened—even people who have never worried before.
Some of us are concerned that things could get worse before they get better. In fact, some of us have been concerned about possible tough times ahead since long before our nightly news sounded dire, and have been preparing for the worst-case scenario all along.
Whether a seasoned prepper, someone new to prepping, or someone just considering joining the preparedness community, many people will agree that there has never been a better time to be a prepper than right now. Even though the possible disasters vary widely among different schools of thought within the preparedness community, from natural disasters to electromagnetic pulse to famine to war to economic collapse to dozens of other scenarios, it is clear that hard times could be on the horizon.
Preppers have not always been taken seriously. Considered by some to be a radical fringe, preppers’ concerns for the future and dedication to self-sufficiency have not always been shared by mainstream Americans. I get some raised eyebrows when I tell people I’m a prepper.
“No, I’m not one of those crazy ones you hear about,” I assure them.
But it is by no means clear what would define me—or anyone—as a crazy prepper. It is true that we all focus on different possibilities and different preparations. There are many variations amid prepping lifestyles, in the same way that there are many ways to live as back-to-the-landers, house flippers, foster parents, pet owners, mountain climbers, volunteer missionaries, or any other cause or belief to which people might devote their lives. I have my own way of prepping, which may or may not be seen by others as crazy. But crazy or not, I have noticed more people are considering the benefits of preparing for the future. Folks who even a year ago might not have given any real thought to the tenets of prepping have expressed to me a measure of unease about today’s world and tomorrow’s possibilities.
Different Paths to Preparedness

People come from different directions to the realization that learning to provide for oneself and one’s future is crucial. For some, it is an extension of having grown up in a conservative rural family where households and communities fended for themselves in the face of potential job loss or severe weather or injury. For others, it is learning about the likelihood of the world as we witness it being knocked off-kilter by the loss of a power grid—either by way of an electromagnetic pulse due to naturally occurring sunspots or due to something more sinister and deliberate initiated by hostile entities. Still others have reason to believe that primary American institutions, such as our financial structure or our system of government, are on the verge of implosion which will leave citizens scrambling for resources.
Some feel the threat of impending changes in food availability—due to climate change, overpopulation, government regulation, overdependence on fewer varieties, or other causes. Others worry about polar shift or massive earthquakes.
There is what some perceive to be an increasing likelihood of all-out war—with North Korea, Russia, Syria, ISIS or others. This is compounded by what feels to the residents of some communities like war already in progress—a war on people of color, a war on men and women in uniform, a war on the poor, or a war on taxpayers.
There is no shortage of threats to concern us. In response, preppers everywhere are doing their best to be ready for whatever might happen. Some buy a few extra cans of prepared soup and vegetables when they are on sale and tuck them away in the back of a closet for just-in-case. Many people try to follow suggested guidelines of keeping a three-day supply of food, water, batteries and other necessities—things like baby diapers and medicines and fuel—on hand at all times. Others take things a little more seriously, filling pantries with rows and rows of food stockpiles and keeping gun cabinets full of weapons and ammunition and practicing emergency evacuation procedures. Some people create alternative residences for themselves by way of underground bunkers or wilderness retreats, which they plan to use if their current home becomes uninhabitable for any reason.
With possibilities looming that could shake up our entire supply chain, affect how we acquire what we need to live, alter our priorities, and even change our very livelihoods and lives, there is no better time than now to be a prepper.

George Orwell introduced the language of doublespeak in his dystopian novel “1984” published in 1949. Doublespeak is the language of opposites. Up is down and down is up.
The word doublespeak derives from two Orwellian words “doublethink” and “newspeak.” Doublethink is when a person accepts two mutually contradictory thoughts as correct without being aware or troubled by the glaring contradiction between them. Doublethink statements like “war is peace” “freedom is slavery” “ignorance is strength” are made without discomfort. Newspeak is a method of controlling thought through language – it is the language of fake news. Doublespeak combines doublethink and newspeak in language that deliberately obscures, distorts, disguises, or reverses the meaning of words to manipulate public opinion in a mass social engineering effort.
Orwellian doublespeak is the language of the hard Left leading a coup against Western democracies and their national sovereignty. Barack Obama spoke doublespeak when he promised hope and change. Obama deliberately obscured and disguised his hope for changing American democracy into socialism. Most Americans understood hope and change to mean a better life and the realization of the American dream – a hope to improve our democracy not to destroy it.
The left-wing liberal agenda seeks to destroy the socio-political infrastructure of American democracy and transform it into a dependent socialist state with cradle to grave control by the government. Their strategy of destruction is to target the traditional American institutions of family, religion, and education that promote independence, adulthood, individualism, and ego strength – the qualities that made America great and support American democracy and sovereignty.
The 21st century Leftist progressives speak doublespeak – their “progressive” narrative is entirely regressive.
The regressive infantile impulses and temper tantrums exhibited by left-wing liberals today cannot seriously be called “progressive” except by double-speaking Leftists who believe that going backwards is going forward. REGRESSIVE is the accurate word for the infantile behavior and impulses that inform the “progressive” Left. Safe spaces, Play-Doh and counseling for disappointment, segregated black-only lounges are all regressive demands of an increasingly regressed population.
To understand why the progressives speak doublespeak, their goals, who benefits, and the purpose of relabeling up as down and down as up it is necessary to translate doublespeak into colloquial English.
In an effort to translate the language of doublespeak a glossary with explanations is helpful. The glossary will decode the disingenuous Doublespeak of the radical left-wing liberals broadcast incessantly by the colluding mainstream media, taught in the infiltrated educational curricula, and dramatized by the Hollywood gliteratti and television programming in the entertainment industry. There is no informed consent in a society of lies and propaganda. If American democracy is to be preserved it is essential that an informed citizenry understand how they are being indoctrinated toward socialism by a deliberate program of propaganda and doublespeak.
GLOSSARY OF LEFTIST DOUBLESPEAK:
1. Diversity = Differences in appearance
Diversity is a word that refers to variety. It has an inclusive connotation and in a social context means the inclusion of multiple races and ethnicities – black, white, Asian, Hispanic etc. For Leftists, what the word does not include is any variation in thought. Leftist diversity only extends as far as appearances – it does not tolerate any variety of opinions. Leftism is tyrannical in its demands for conformity to its politically correct left-wing narrative of moral relativism and historical revisionism it does not include any conservative opinions or ideas.
In Doublespeak diversity means differences in appearance.
2. Education = Indoctrination
Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction especially at a school or university. In a democracy public education is “inclusive, both in its treatment of students and in that enfranchisement for the government of public education is as broad as for government generally. It is often organized and operated to be a deliberate model of the civil community in which it functions.” – Wikipedia
Education in America has been commandeered by left-wing liberals and is now a vehicle for indoctrinating American youth from K-12 and throughout college. Conservative voices are no longer welcome in education. What was once a traditional American education of core subjects and pride in American democratic ideals has been transformed into an echo chamber of Leftist propaganda promoting globalism, socialism, American self-loathing, political correctness, moral relativism, and historical revisionism.
In Doublespeak education means Leftist indoctrination.
3. Freedom of speech = Approved speech
Freedom of speech is the foundation for democracy. Without freedom of speech there is no other freedom which is why tyrants always eliminate freedom of speech first. Leftists in America are determined to eliminate freedom of speech by enforcing their own code of political correctness which labels any opposing speech as hate speech. Speakers with conservative points of view are disinvited or intimidated through organized boycotts and violent protests. It is unAmerican to disallow the expression of opposing views but Leftists are tyrannical in their demand for conformity to their approved rhetoric.
In Doublespeak freedom of speech means freedom of approved speech.
4. Globalism = One-world government
Globalism is defined as the operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis. Globalism commonly refers to international trade among nations. Leftists seek to internationalize the world and are not using the word globalism to mean global trade. When Leftists say globalism they mean one-world government – their intention is to eliminate national boundaries, national sovereignty, and impose one-world government. The irony is that Leftists do not realize they are participating in their own destruction because the globalist elite who will rule the new world order consider the Leftists to be useful idiots.
In Doublespeak globalism means one-world government.
5. Global warming/climate change = Redistribution of wealth
In 1992 UN scientists on The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) stated: “It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.” Greenpeace founder Patrick Moore testified before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on June 24, 2014 that:
“Extremely likely” is not a scientific term but rather a judgment, as in a court of law. The IPCC defines “extremely likely” as a ‘95-100% probability.’ But upon further examination it is clear that these numbers are not the result of any mathematical calculation or statistical analysis. They have been ‘invented’ as a construct within the IPCC report to express ‘expert judgment,’ as determined by the IPCC contributors.”
Climate change is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on industrialized countries to transfer their wealth to non-industrialized countries. The United Nations is committed to globalization and one-world government and is supported worldwide by Leftists with the same objective.
In Doublespeak global warming/climate change means the redistribution of wealth.

8. Resistance = Anarchy
Resistance is the refusal to accept or comply with something. In a democracy there are laws and elections designed for citizens to legally and peacefully express their discontent at the voting booth. When Leftists speak of resistance they are fomenting the overthrow of the government.

In Doublespeak tolerance is synonymous with intolerance – the opposite of tolerance. It is exclusively awarded to those who LOOK differently and withheld from those who THINK differently. Leftists tolerate differences in race, gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic status but are extremely intolerant of differences of opinion.

I’m on Norman Lear’s “People For the American Way” email list. Watching their heads explode is entertaining but every once and a while I just have to respond to what they are saying. Their recent missive said they were “fighting against Trump Republicans’ all-out assault on our constitutional rights and values – – the American Way.” They wouldn’t know what was Constitutional if it bit them and when did supporting Islam become the “American Way”?
The subject line of their email was, “CORRUPTION, EXTREMISM, LAWLESSNESS – WE CAN’T STOP FIGHTING”. The following was my reply:
Really? Do you have ANY ability to self-examine?
Corruption on the Right? Did the Right conspire to ensure Bernie Sanders couldn’t win? Did the Right bus people to vote in different districts? Did the Right say you could keep your doctor and your plan? Did the Right go on five television shows to say Benghazi was caused by a video when they knew it wasn’t? Does the Right pay people to silence Conservative speech? Did the Right send debate questions to the candidate and indignantly deny it…..before admitting it? Did the Right set up an UNSECURED private server for the State Department putting classified information in danger and delete emails? The DNC is so corrupt Debbie Wasserman-Schultz had to resign.
Do you really not know why you lost the House, Senate & White House? Or elections across the nation, Governorships, legislatures, etc?
Extremism? Since when did supporting the Constitution become “extreme? Since when did the Free Market become “extreme”? Since when did free speech become “extreme”? Calling people who recognize Islam is not compatible with our culture Islamophobes is “extreme”. Calling people who want stop illegal immigration racist bigots is “extreme”. The Right doesn’t call people who disagree with them racist bigoted Islamophobic homophobes. They don’t silence people, they don’t harass sponsors. No, it’s the Left that is beating people with bicycle locks, burning cars & businesses, silencing people, and threatening to boycott sponsors unless they take Conservatives off television. You [the Left] are projecting. You are accusing the Right of what the Left does in spades. You are harming this country and causing more division with your “extreme” claims. You need to do some “extreme” soul searching.
The lie we were told as kids was this: The end of American liberty would come at the hands of the political right.
Conservatives would take away our right to speak our minds, and use the power of government to silence dissent. The right would intimidate our teachers and professors, and coerce the young.
And then, with the universities in thrall, with control of the apparatus of the state (and the education bureaucracy), the right would have dominion over a once-free people.
Some of us were taught this in school. Others, who couldn’t be bothered to read books, were fed a cartoon version of the diabolical conservative in endless movies and TV shows. The most entertaining of these were science fiction, sometimes with vague references to men in brown shirts and black boots goose-stepping in some future time.
Women would become handmaids, subjugated and turned into breeders. And men would be broken as well. The more lurid fantasies offered armies of Luddites in hooded robes, hunting down subversives for the greater good.
But the lie is obvious now, isn’t it?
Because it is not conservatives who coerced today’s young people or made them afraid of ideas that challenge them. Conservatives did not shame people into silence, or send thugs out on college campuses to beat down those who wanted to speak.
The left did all that.
It’s there in front of you, the thuggish mobs of the left killing free speech at American universities. The thugs call themselves antifas, for anti-fascists.
They beat people up and break things and set fires and intimidate. These are not anti-fascists. These are fascists. This is what fascists do.
Some wear masks to cover their faces, or hide bike locks in scarves and swing them at the heads of any who disagree. They’re all about intimidation. And intimidation on a national scale, so angry and violent, is a fascist thing of the left.
Many liberals — journalists, senators, television comedians and others — are properly appalled at what their political children, born of the hard left, have done. Many liberals have warned about this, and so many must wince as the fruits of their labor turn bitter in their mouths.
But they are also complicit, because they’ve taken advantage of the anger and energy of this hard left fascism to leverage their own politics. And Democratic operatives still hope to use this emotional frenzy and muscle for political gain in the next elections.
What is the cost for all this?
Free speech, without which there is no republic.
American universities were once thought to be the last great refuge of ideas, where ideas could flourish and be challenged and debated. But today, the university is the place where liberty and ideas go to die.
The American university is where intellectuals with dissenting views are silenced — even physically assaulted — by mobs. And administrators sit by and watch, afraid to anger those mobs.
What has been the general liberal response to Americans who insist on speaking after being threatened?
Annoyance. The response sounds like this: Hush. Go away. Come back later when it’s quiet. Why cause trouble? Shhh.
Right-wing provocateur Ann Coulter has been silenced at Berkeley, where the free speech movement was born. And other intellectuals, including Charles Murray and Heather Mac Donald, have been silenced at other colleges, attacked by mobs.
If the left agrees with your views, you may speak. If the left doesn’t agree, they will shut you down. This is America now.

Unless, of course, you’re of the hard left, and can hunt free speech at American universities and crush it.
That’s not fiction. That’s not fantasy. And it is not a lie. It’s happening now, in the United States.

How To Counter Leftist Violence While Maintaining The Moral High Ground

Social division is an undeniable reality of human existence; it is also not necessarily a negative aspect of human existence. The moment a society is forced or manipulated into blindly agreeing on everything is the moment that society begins to die and the future of mankind in general becomes rather bleak. Ideas need to be tested, they need to be scrutinized and they need to be verified, perpetually. That said, there are right ways and wrong ways of doing this.
Diving into a culture of zealotry is certainly the WRONG way. Zealotry requires a religious-like idolization of a particular idea or philosophy; it requires unverified faith and an unwavering devotion. Once people become zealots, they cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be debated, they cannot be dissuaded. They are, for all intents and purposes, automatons with only one mission — to spread their beliefs by any means necessary. They do not care about being right, they only care about “winning.” Because, in their minds, their position is unassailable. They are righteous, and thus, the ends will always justify the means.
The culture of the Left in the U.S. is beginning to embrace zealotry and the path can only get more ugly from here. This is evident not only in the violent behavior of more vocal groups like Antifa, but also in the lack of self criticism by many on the left that would consider themselves more moderate. There are very few voices among liberals and “progressives” today that are openly admonishing the counterproductive and thuggish actions of their more extreme members (this includes not only Antifa, but other groups like Black Lives Matter). In many cases, “moderate” leftists even cheer such actions.
There is this notion among some in the Liberty Movement that to even point out this dynamic is irresponsible because it only reinforces the concept of the false left/right paradigm. Most of these people I find are very new (newbies) to the Liberty Movement and don’t really understand what the false left/right paradigm is. When we talk about the Left and the Right as an illusion, we are talking about the elites who sit at the TOP of the sociopolitical sphere. Meaning, the elites have no loyalties to concepts on either the left or the right in politics. In fact, they often switch back and forth like chameleons depending on what they want from the public at the time. They have their own agenda which does not include the rest of us.
To be clear, I was just as much against the fake conservatism of George W. Bush as I was against the fake liberalism of Barack Obama.
This false paradigm does not, however, apply to regular citizens. The further away you get from the top of the pyramid, the more people tend to legitimately associate closer to one philosophy or the other. In times of crisis and uncertainty, these divisions become more pronounced. This is reality. Anyone who argues that there is no left/right paradigm when it comes to the average citizen has no idea what they are talking about.
So, now that we have acknowledged that the problem exists, lets examine it more in depth…
The Problem
All one needs to do is observe the attitudes, insane demands and criminality of hardcore leftists in the past year to see that at least one side of the paradigm cannot be salvaged. They are a lost cause.
This is a prime example of how it is impossible to win an argument when your position is fundamentally illogical. In most cases, these protesters can’t even specify their reasons for protesting, and they don’t really care to examine why they do what they do. They only know that their ideology is not being represented in totality. They are unsuccessful at debating their ideas coherently and don’t have the intelligence to convince others that they are correct. They aren’t going to give up simply because they are wrong, so, their only other option is to slander the character of those who disagree, attack them physically and disrupt their ability to speak freely.
Keep in mind, there is no moral conundrum for zealots. They believe they are completely justified in what they do because the other side represents a “greater evil.” Labeling their opponents as “fascists” is a get-out-of-conscience-free card for them.
It is important to note that we are not quite at the moment of crisis yet, but I would consider 2017 a turning point. This is where our (conservatives and sovereignty champions) decisions now could affect the future for decades to come. I suspect that as we move closer to summer and warmer weather, riots designed to cancel conservative speaking events (and random riots with no specific purpose) will expand tenfold. Leftists seem to be more active in warmer weather (there is a reason most of them live near the coasts).
All American citizens, regardless of their political leanings or personal ideals, have a right to speak and the right to listen to those speaking. All American citizens also have a right to redress grievances. This includes leftists. That said, it is important to make a distinction here — NO ONE has the right to silence speech in public spaces in the name of “activism,” and this is where the Left has gone off the rails. My right to speak and be heard is protected; their “right” to silence me is not protected.
There is a line here that cannot be crossed. Conservatives must be allowed free speech in public places, and leftists must be allowed to protest in public places as long as that protest is PEACEFUL. Once an individual or group uses force to silence speech, they have given up the moral high ground.
I recognize that there are paid provocateurs operating among liberal protesters and that this likely contributes to higher chances of violence and the madness of mobs. The presence of elitist money among leftist groups has been exposed on numerous occasions in reference to George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, which admitted to injecting $33 million dollars into the Ferguson protests (riots). WashingtonCAN! (another Soros-funded group) put out a Craigslist ad in Seattle offering to pay people $15-$20 an hour to “organize” anti-Trump rallies. WashingtonCAN claims this was merely an ad to hire “phone solicitors,” but they do in fact help organize protests, and nowhere in the ad is phone solicitation mentioned. I do not think it is a stretch to suggest that these paid “organizers” are present at protests, nor do I think it is a stretch to suggest that they are contributing to the mob mentality.
This should be taken into account as well. There are moments in any high-tension protest where the mob can be swayed to remain peaceful or to break out into thuggery. Usually, if the mob sees a few people getting away with violent attacks, this gives them license to unhinge as well.
Is the proper response to crush all leftist protests simply because of the violence of a handful? No. The key is to disrupt individual provocateurs before they can entice the mob to forget themselves. Normally, this would be the job of police on the scene, but as I’m sure many of you have noticed recently (Berkeley being a prime example), the police have been reticent to intervene in a tactically intelligent manner, depending on what municipality they are operating. It seems that when it comes to state and local law enforcement there are only two modes of response, either they are mostly hands off, or, they go full crackdown.
The issue that needs to be considered is when police or the federal government do initiate a full crackdown on all protests. Will conservatives cheer the measure?
To give some historical perspective, the Antifa movement, for example, is nothing new. It is an odd plagiarism of the “Anti-Facist” movements in Europe during the 1920s. Antifa was essentially an offshoot of communist movements in Italy opposed to the rise of Benito Mussolini, but it then spread to other European nations. It was in fact the belligerence of communist groups that actually inspired public support for fascist leaders like Mussolini and Hitler. As common people grew fearful of a monstrous Bolshevik-style revolution, the only other option offered to them was fascism, which at the time appeared to many to be a saving grace.
Of course, it was not, and totalitarianism in the name of defeating the communists only led to atrocities equal to communist dictatorships. This is what I call a “morally relativistic choice;” a catch-22 that is usually engineered, forcing the populace to pick between the “lesser of two evils.”
There are those who might argue that there is little chance of a similar development in America today, but consider this — conservatives movements were prodded and harassed for eight years by a constitution-trampling president who originally claimed he was going to undo the trespasses of the constitution-trampling president before him. This took place while leftist organizations imposed thought control and political correctness on us with relative glee. Conservatives have been organizing, training and arming themselves for nearly a decade in the event that globalist and Marxist ideologies take one more inch of rope, the expectation being that Hillary Clinton would attempt to take a mile.
Now, with Trump in office, we are a hammer looking for a nail.
This is what the left simply does not grasp. We are certainly not fascists now, but with continued violence from the left something in the collective conservative mind will eventually snap. My suspicion is that this is exactly what elites like George Soros want. They are using the left as sacrificial pawns in order to goad conservatives into going nuclear.
There are millions of conservatives coming home from work right now, sitting with their families, and seeing news each day filled with leftist protesters trampling all over conservative events and in many cases getting away with it. These conservatives are becoming more and more angry; more and more willing to embrace an ends justify the means reaction. Ultimately, they may very well support a full spectrum government stranglehold on protests and the speech of those we disagree with. This will make us the villains of our little period in history, and this is something I would like to avoid.
So, the question is, how do we counter violent leftists like those in Antifa without abandoning our constitutional principles? Lets talk about solutions…
The Solution
There is a school of thought that suggests we should stand back, let the mobs tire themselves out and in this way we avoid “escalation.” I would point out that the Left has been escalating matters quite expertly without our intervention. When you have elitist funded organizations generating momentum at a constant pace, it is hard for me to back the notion of complete pacifism. On the other hand, moderation and an even hand rule the day.
Countering leftist mobs requires a scalpel, not a bulldozer, metaphorically speaking.
Conservatives are less likely to support police state intervention if they see that leftist attacks are already being countered in a rational way. I would argue that this could be done by limited groups of civilian volunteers (around 50-100 men strong), without any government involvement, acting as security for speakers and the attendees of events.
These people would have to be highly vetted — no criminal background, no background of mental instability or psychotropic usage, a professional demeanor, absolutely no ties to federal agencies, no propensity to be ruled by emotion, no stolen valor, etc. etc. They would also have to be physically capable.
Members would need previous training as well as updated training in self-defense and riot response, as well as defusing confrontation. They would have to be invited by the event organizers in question and their goal would be to defend attendees from violence in a non-lethal manner. Their purpose cannot be to stop a protest from happening, only ensuring that protesters do not overstep their bounds and harm others.
Of course, the immediate accusation that will be used is that this kind of organizing is simply the formation of “brownshirts” for Trump. This is why a security group of this caliber would have to also be willing to offer their services to ANY speaker or event, regardless of political affiliation. It cannot be exclusively about Trump. If a mob of conservatives were threatening to use violence to shut down a liberal speaker, then the group would have to be willing to protect those people as well. I don’t see any examples of this happening anywhere, but again, the group’s concerns must focus on free speech and those that are trying to squash it, regardless of who they are.
This civilian security organization would require funding at a grassroots level through donations from regular people. Large sums of cash from major political donors or non-profit foundations could not be accepted. The group would have to be beholden to no one. It would also need to be separate from any already existing organization and function as its own animal in order to prevent conflicting goals.
Donations would be needed to fund travel and food expenses for volunteers, as well as some protective gear, the cost of initial training, the expense of background checks as well as legal defense. This organization would have to be limited in size to prevent confusion and a lack of structural discipline. I suspect that such a venture would start small, and truly qualified people would be limited in the beginning anyway.
I am willing to coordinate this effort with others depending on the level of enthusiasm that is generated and if donations are adequate. I am ready to help provide training for those who pass the vetting process. Interested parties can contact me at: brandon@alt-market.com

Anyone that arrives on the scene from nowhere should not be trusted. Anyone looking merely for notoriety and celebrity should not be taken seriously. Anyone looking to start a confrontation rather than prevent one should be dismissed. We cannot allow ourselves to become what the left accuses us of being. This is a time for extreme caution, and quiet professionalism.

The Democrat Party, its Media serfs, and Social Justice Incorporated are all outraged because we uppity normals are again presuming to rule ourselves, and their agony is delightful. Less delightful is how, in the process of trying to claw their way back into power, they are incinerating the norms and rules that preserve our political order. That stuff Hillary babbled about honoring the legitimacy of elections? Yeah, no. There’s an invisible asterisk only liberals can see that explains that the norms and rules are void when liberals lose.
So, where does this crisis end?
We know where the leftists want it to end, with us silenced and subservient forever, toiling to pay taxes for them to redistribute to their clients as they pick at, poke at and torment us. You look at the things Trump stands for and all of them are about lifting the yoke off of us – cutting taxes, slashing regulations, guaranteeing the Second Amendment, protecting our religious liberty, and safeguarding us from terrorists and illegals. But everything liberals want, everything Hillary ran on, is about clamping the yoke ever tighter around our necks – raising taxes, issuing more regulations, disarming us, limiting our religious freedom, and putting us at risk from terrorists and alien criminals. The whole leftist platform is about putting us down and keeping us down.
They are certainly not going to risk us ever being able to repeat November’s rejection. California’s decline lays out their tyrannical road map. When the Democrats took power here, they “reformed” the election laws to lock-in their party, co-opted the “nonpartisan” redistricting process, and changed the ballot initiative system to make sure we will never see another unapproved proposition. They ensured there is no way to stop illegal aliens from voting because they want illegal aliens voting.
But even that’s not enough. The state government chose to allow its unofficial catspaws to intimidate and beat dissenters at UC Berkeley. California’s governing class wanted the thugs to prevail; it was a lesson to its opponents. I thought my novel People’s Republic, about post-freedom California, was an action thriller, not the first draft of a future history.
I was wrong.
Do you think Hillary Clinton or whatever aspiring Hugo Chavez they offer up next is going to protect us from violent leftist thugs, or encourage them? Remember how Obama weaponized agencies like the IRS against conservatives? Multiply that by a thousand. Think about the “hate speech” rules used to silence conservatives on campus; imagine them as federal law. That’s coming, just like in Europe – it’s now a crime in France to speak out against abortion. Do you imagine leftists don’t dream of doing that? No, once back in power they will ensure we will never be able to challenge their rule. One man (or woman or other), one vote, one more time, then never again.
How will they do it?
This massive resistance campaign against everything Donald Trump has done and a lot he hasn’t done is one way. The media’s liberal advocacy and tsunami of fake news is another; the press is now just one more partisan political player campaigning to restore the establishment to power. These same liars who fantasize about Trump silencing critics will cheer as the next Democrat commandante does it for real. Remember how they said nothing when Democrats voted to repeal the First Amendment so Congress could control speech during elections?
And they think they’re winning.
Sally Kohn, a CNN commentator perfectly personifies the left’s combination of utter cluelessness and utter certainty in its own moral superiority. Drawing from her bottomless well of stupidity, she recently became infamous for wishcasting about what happens “[s]traight forward from here.” Her scenario starts with Step 1 (“Impeach Trump & Pence”) and ends with Step 6 (“President Hillary”), thanks to a Constitutional process she created herself by blending ignorance, fascism, and wanting.
Sally, however, overlooked Step 2.5, where several dozen million Americans defend the Constitution by taking out their black rifles and saying, “Oh, hell no.” I assume the patriots determined to protect the Union would be confronted, for a short and awkward time, by a pro-coup hipster army locked and loaded with vinyl LPs, participation trophies and unearned self-regard.
There’s no reason not to believe that for these seditious Democrats, the second time will be the charm.
But this amusing idiocy highlights a much more frightening possibility. Dennis Prager has written that America is locked in a Second Civil War already, albeit a cold one. And in light of the absolute rejection by the left of any legitimacy of the grievances, the interests, or the right to participate in governing this country of the tens of millions of red Americans, it’s reasonable to wonder how this can end peacefully. You see read it on social media, you hear it whispered. Are the wounds to our body politic so deep they can’t be healed?
I recently polled people on Twitter about what they thought of the chances of serious violence in the coming four years, and the results from 6,159 people are alarming. “Stop being a nut” got 10%; I was hoping it would get about 95%. “We’ll wise up” and find a way out of this crisis, got 13%. But “50/50 leftists may try violence” got a stunning 41%, while “It’s coming. Gear up” got a terrifying 36%.
So, 77% of the respondents fear serious violence during Trump’s first term. That’s scary, especially since political warfare is not unprecedented in history. Forget Bleeding Kansas. Just reflect on the low-grade insurgency the American left undertook in the 1970s, with more bloodshed than most people remember, and consider how today the left has significantly more cultural, institutional and media support. The reality is that there is the potential for this to get out of control, way out of control, especially considering the likelihood that leftist violence would be met in kind. That 77% indicates that the red side is, as the left loves to say, “woke” to the threat. And the red people have the guns and training, should things degenerate into serious chaos.
Basically, this country is a powder keg, and leftist fools who do not understand the danger are figuratively standing around it, firing up their bongs.
Now, understand that leftist liars will meet this column with the slander that I (and by extension, you) hope for violence. Skim down the comments and check out the idiots no doubt infesting my Twitter feed – you’ll see plenty of such lies. Actually, this is yet another of my severalpleas for sanity and peace (including in my book’s preface). But the left’s favorite tactic is to deny substantive truth in favor of narrative; what I (and you) actually believe is irrelevant. This infuriating tactic makes reasoned discussion and argument impossible anymore, which itself makes violence more likely since it forecloses the primary method of peacefully resolving disagreements. If you can’t argue, if you can’t even speak, there’s only one way to be heard.
The left’s combination of evil and stupidity is the driver straightforward from here. With the grim understanding that they hate us, we need to accept that there may be no easy return to peaceful coexistence. Our goal in electing Donald Trump was to remove the left’s hand from our throat, not to put our hand around blue peoples’ collective windpipe. We don’t care how they live their lives, but leftists care very much how we live ours. Their goal is to lock both hands around our throat and squeeze until we submit to leftist tyranny or die.
It’s hard to see how we compromise. Do we just somewhat submit, or only die a little?
This crisis has to culminate somehow. It could end peacefully, with a return to the old norms and reasoned competition between ideas. But it seems no one is interested in that; instead, one side has to win decisively, and one side has to lose decisively. If so, I say we win and they lose, since I’m not ready to submit or to die.
Editor’s Comment: The situation is becoming desperate. Perhaps Trump was meant merely to distract Americans, or perhaps he is doing exactly what is expected of him – by those who placed him in power. Either way, the country is bitterly divided along partisan lines. Many of the most important principles have been abandoned for a cultural war that isn’t likely to stop, or die down, but rather to explode in the volley back and forth between left wing and progressive opponents, and alt right and conservative factions.
But as Brandon Smith predicts, this narrative will go on not by itself, but in all probability, with the aid a truly stunning attack – perhaps even on American soil. Another large-scale terrorist attack may be need to shock unruly voters and concerned citizens back into their hovels, back onto the reservation. How else would a war with Iran, and more police state actions in the streets be justified? The implications are clear – confusion, violence and especially terror will be used to drive home the message. This is above Donald Trump’s head, beyond the power of the presidency. This is the cynical and very real powers behind the throne, and there is nothing they wouldn’t stoop to.
Be very cautious in the next few years; not only is society disaster ready and disaster prone, but principled activists, conservatives and gun owners are likely to be tested. There are those who are looking for a response; who are looking for a reason, and who are interested in people seeing their differences, rather than unite around a common enemy. Until more calm and clear thinking comes, confusion and chaos will rule the day.
Globalists Want To Destroy Conservative Principles – But They Need Our Help

For months now, long before the 2016 election, I have been warning about a specific social dynamic which is likely to lead to a form of civil war within the U.S.; namely, the reality that people on the left side of the political spectrum would become despondent at the inevitable loss of their candidate, Hillary Clinton, and that they would react by becoming far more militant. In my article ‘Order Out Of Chaos: The Defeat Of The Left Comes With A Cost’, published November post-election, I stated:
“When I mentioned in my last article the crippling of social justice, I did not mention that this could have some negative reverberations. With Trump and conservatives taking near-total power after the Left had assumed they would never lose again, their reaction has been to transform. They are stepping away from the normal activities and mindset of cultural Marxism and evolving into full blown communists. Instead of admitting that their ideology is a failure in every respect, they are doubling down.
When this evolution is complete, the Left WILL resort to direct violent action on a larger scale, and they will do so with a clear conscience because, in their minds, they are fighting fascism.”
I believed at that time that the social-justice cult would lose mainstream influence but that the existing minority would resort to even more insidious tactics and greater violence to get what they want; and, the so-called “moderate left” would cheer them on. As it turns out, I have been proven right so far.
Not that extreme Leftists have been averse to violence over the past year, but I think it is safe to say that the volume on the cultural Marxist machine has been turned up a notch. The riot at UC Berkeley over a scheduled speech by gay, conservative speaker Milo Yiannopoulos is a perfect example:
Then, there was the raid by SJWs at NYU on a speech by conservative journalist and comedian Gavin McInnes, in which they shouted down all discussion with mindless chants until the event had to be canceled. This was, of course, after they had already physically attacked people outside the building, including McInnes:
The social justice mantra is changing. At first, it was predominately about forming mobs to “shame” target political opponents into silence. Now, it is about forming mobs to do what they call “punching Nazis.” Leftists are now often seen regurgitating the claim — “This is only the beginning…”
I agree, this IS only the beginning. The Left is driven not only by the ideology of cultural Marxism, but also a very specific activist strategy outlined in Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules For Radicals’. The very core of Alinsky’s method revolves around one important rule in particular: the ends justify the means.
This is the key ingredient of moral relativism, and when a movement is motivated by moral relativism, there is no limit to the depths they will sink to get their way. Activists adopting the “ends justify the means” mentality are not interested in being “right,” or wise, or rational or logical or factual; they ONLY care about “winning.” This is their goal, and they will do anything to achieve it.
It is important to note, however, that all of these protests and the increase in violence is not taking place in a vacuum. As many liberty analysts have noted, Trump has hardly had time to do anything yet that would warrant national protests. Is Trump really the only catalyst? Not quite. The mainstream media and globalists like George Soros have been very effective in agitating or outright paying protesters and provocateurs to generate zombie mobs of gullible Leftists to use as a billy club for harassing conservatives.
That said, I want liberty activists and analysts to ponder on this for a moment — to what end is this being done? Why is Soros so interested in fomenting leftist rage? Is it designed to overthrow Trump? To initiate mob action and frighten conservatives into silence? Or do the globalists have a greater and more important goal in mind?
I have been writing often on the idea of 4th Generation Warfare the past month, and I think my readers are now well versed in the concept of the “three-steps-ahead” style of tactics, as well as the concept of manipulating an opponent to destroy himself, rather than fighting him directly. These are not new methods, the globalists have merely taken them to the next level.
But how do 4th Gen warfare tactics apply to the current Right vs. Left scenario in the U.S.? Well, everything is not as obvious as it seems.
As I outlined in-depth in my article Clinton Versus Trump And The Co-Option Of The Liberty Movement, globalists and the leftist media have been, in a strange way, quietly cheering for Trump, but only as a tool for absorbing the liberty movement (what they still call the “Tea Party”). This glee is made rather evident in an article published by Bloomberg in August titled The Tea Party Meets Its Maker.
There is a point I have been trying to make for most of the year that I think has been consistently missed by many in the liberty movement. That point being that the greatest danger to conservatives is NOT militant Leftists, but how we RESPOND to militant Leftists. That is to say, I believe the globalists are using the Left as a cattle prod to enrage conservatives and lure us into abandoning our principles in the name of defeating Marxists.
Consider this; the argument among most liberty analysts has been that the numerous anti-Constitutional programs put in place by the Obama administration in the past eights years would eventually be used by the political Left and the globalists as weapons to subdue and destroy conservatives and patriot groups. While Obama certainly tested the waters of tyranny over and over again, up to and including using executive orders to assassinate American citizens without trial, it is clear that those extensive powers afforded to the White House are no longer in the hands of the left; they are in the hands of Trump.
Obama even signed the “Countering Disinformation And Propaganda Act” into law AFTER Trump had already won the White House. Trump has now inherited this power as well, which seems to give government the authority to harass or even silence news sources they deem “fake news.” While many liberty activists cried foul and warned of a “coup” designed to shut down alternative news sites and thwart Trump’s inauguration, I warned that there was a much more dangerous scenario in play.
What will conservatives do in the face of the leftist mob funded by globalists and growing ever more vicious? Well, what do the globalists expect us to do? I think they expect us to look at all the government powers we once admonished as unConstitutional and say “hey, maybe these laws and executive orders are not so bad after all…”
I think the globalists are handing us the incredible temptation of far reaching bureaucratic power, and they expect us to abuse that power, as almost anyone would.
As an alternative analyst I am privy to trends in the liberty movement and in conservative circles that might not be immediately obvious to casual readers. Already, I am witnessing calls among conservatives to abuse government power to defeat the Left. I have seen comments such as:
“Trump should use the NDAA to imprison these leftists indefinitely…”
“The only solution is to throw the leftists into FEMA camps…”
“Trump needs to shut down the leftist media…”
“Sometimes it is okay to bend the rules of the constitution if you have the right president…”
And comments like this are popping up everywhere in liberty media boards. Now, I recognize that some of this talk is being posted by paid disinformation agents and provocateurs, but, I have heard regular conservatives and patriots, people who are long time proponents of the Constitution, echo similar sentiments.
I often use the analogy of the “One Ring” from The Lord Of The Rings to describe big government power. I really can’t find a better fictional symbol. Anyone who comes into possession of the “one ring” is eventually corrupted by it. Many good people believe that its darker energy can be contained and directed for good purposes, but they, too, are ultimately undone by it. The only answer, the only solution, is to abandon the ring, or to destroy it.
Overt government power is very much the same; it corrupts any person or group that comes in contact with it. Every group thinks that if only THEY were in possession of government that they would do things differently. This is a delusion. No person or group is benevolent enough to handle this responsibility, and this includes conservatives. Many groups would commit egregious and heinous crimes to take government for themselves, or keep it for themselves, all the while so many Saurons (globalists) laugh and smack their lips as the masses battle over numerous rings of power.
As I have noted time and time again for the past several months, Trump is the perfect tool for scapegoating conservative movements for the economic crisis the elites have already engineered. But, this is only one part of the agenda. In the midst of chaos generated by financial calamity, the morals of an entire society can become “malleable”. The most important target of the globalists is not only conservatives, but the conservative philosophy. They don’t just want to annihilate conservatives today, they want to annihilate conservatives for all time.
The globalists cannot accomplish this task without our help. They NEED us to adopt an attitude of moral relativism, much like the Left. They need us to turn into totalitarians. They need us to become the monster we claim we want to defeat. Only then can conservative principles be demonized for all time. Only then will history look back on us as a stain on the human record.
This is the globalist’s long game.
While Leftists are being encouraged to mutate into wild frothing packs of rabid dogs, conservatives will be encouraged either through temptation or manipulation to respond in kind. The Left’s propaganda train asserts that we are “fascists.” Obviously, we are the furthest thing from this. But, with enough violence and aggressive censorship on their part, we might end up saying “Okay, you want to see fascism, we’ll show you fascism!”
The social justice cult has no idea what they are being led into. The globalists are going to throw them to the wolves, and WE are the wolves.
It is important to note that the Left is also not the only instigator for conservatives to turn totalitarian. Islamic terrorism is always a perfect rationale for increased government intrusion in the name of safety. And the worst part is, the threats from the Left and the threats from Islamic extremism are in most cases quite legitimate, and they seem to be working hand-in-hand more each day. The progressive interference with steps towards more rational immigration policies and their steady defense of Sharia Law leads many conservatives to see them as one in the same threat. No foreigner is entitled to citizenship in the U.S., but leftists live in a fantasy world of open borders. The left’s refusal to entertain reasonable and selective immigration will eventually push conservatives towards more drastic measures, which is the ultimate point.
Very few Americans like Communists, and very few Americans like Muslim zealotry; the justification for totalitarian measures to disrupt such threats is relatively easy for many people.
This is why I am going to make my next prediction of a major geopolitical event to close out this article — I believe there will be a large scale terrorist attack within the next three months, beyond the mob actions of the Left already in progress.
It will either be similar in scope to 9/11, or, it will be a succession of many smaller attacks occurring over the course of a few days to a couple of weeks. I believe that the current dispute over border controls and immigration denial will come immediately into play. Trump will blame Leftists for obstructing his efforts for secure immigration. Leftists and the media will blame Trump for “radicalizing” Muslims with his immigration policies, or perhaps even accuse him of staging the attacks himself. Trump will begin taking extraordinary measures beyond the Constitution to ensure immigration denial and the thwarting of the Left, and conservatives will applaud him for it.
Again, conservatives are being led by globalists into the temptations of power. The only way for us to fight back is to maintain our principles and refuse to support ANY government measure that is unConstitutional, even if it is to be used against our enemies. The only way that the heritage of liberty can be defeated is if the proponents and champions of liberty forsake it. We beat the globalists in the long run by standing by our ideals and fighting back within the bounds of the principles we hold dear. Dominance through government is never the answer.
