Nancy Pelosi Promises To Raise Taxes If Dems Take Over In Midterm Elections

Nancy Pelosi has promised that Democrats will work to roll back the tax cuts enacted by president Donald Trump if her party takes over after the midterm elections. Apparently, the American people aren’t having enough of their hard earned money stolen from them already.

Reporter Jake Sherman asked Pelosi to respond to a Republican ad that claims “you would like to institute a single-payer health care program and cancel — [raise] taxes, I think they mean, roll back the tax cuts they passed this year.” Sherman asked Pelosi about her response to this at a breakfast event hosted by Politico. Democrats are no longer mincing words: they think they deserve even more of your money. 

“Well, the second part there is accurate,” Pelosi chuckled (because paying taxes aka government theft is so funny when you’re already living paycheck to paycheck) in response, before adding “I do think we should revisit the tax legislation in … a bipartisan transparent way.”

National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Matt Gorman jumped on Pelosi’s comment, tweeting: “I promise you that will be in almost every GOP ad this fall.” Pelosi claims she objects to lowering taxes because it was “in the dark of night.” However, she can’t be bothered to feel the same about the awful Obamacare law that’s flung many Americans into a state of poverty trying to figure out how to pay for or be taxed for the “crime” of not buying government-sanctioned health insurance.

“Now you’ve heard it straight from Nancy Pelosi’s mouth: if Democrats take back the House and she’s reinstalled as Speaker, your taxes will go up,” Gorman said in an emailed statement. According to Fox News, in response, Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill told The Washington Post that “Republicans are desperate to misrepresent any effort to roll back their debt-exploding tax giveaways for big corporations and the wealthiest 1 percent as ‘raising taxes’ on middle-class families.”

To be fair, Pelosi is a millionaire and politician so higher taxes won’t affect her like it will affect the rest of us she wants to steal more from. And her own words speak volumes. In January, Pelosi dismissed bonuses given to workers as a result of the tax reform plan as “crumbs” despite the fact that some workers received bonuses worth up to $2,000.

New York WEAPONIZES Regulatory Powers Against The NRA

Regulatory powers have just been dangerously weaponized against the National Rifle Association. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s recent directive to financial regulators wants them to pressure private companies to break ties with the NRA, “or else…”

New York has never been known as a bastion of freedom, yet this is even highly reminiscent of all-out fascist tactics to eliminate basic fundamental human rights through weaponized regulations. And although no person should ever have the kind of power Cuomo exerted to “decree” private businesses and banks follow his orders, don’t be surprised if they cave to the tyranny.

“I am directing the Department of Financial Services to urge insurers and bankers statewide to determine whether any relationship they may have with the NRA or similar organizations sends the wrong message to their clients and their communities who often look to them for guidance and support,” the governor wrote in a statement.

The Department of Financial Services, which regulates the banking and insurance industries in New York, followed up with guidance letters to insurance companies and banks, according to Reason. 

The guidance then includes slight variations on the following language from the banking letter:

The Department encourages its chartered and licensed financial institutions to continue evaluating and managing their risks, including reputational risks, that may arise from their dealings with the NRA or similar gun promotion organizations, if any, as well as continued assessment of compliance with their own codes of social responsibility. The Department encourages regulated institutions to review any relationships they have with the NRA or similar gun promotion organizations, and to take prompt actions to managing these risks and promote public health and safety.

Why is this such a terrifying ordeal? The regulatory body that oversees these industries is warning companies under its power that they may be assuming reputational risk (a regulated area that draws official attention) by doing business with legal organizations such as the NRA. This reputational risk is said to exist because these groups are “gun promotion organizations,” which boils down to nothing more than them taking public policy positions at odds with those favored by the state’s political leaders.  Meaning the New York State government is weaponizing itself against any business it deems a political enemy…does this sound like East Berlin circa 1939 yet?

But this is hardly the first time government regulatory agencies have been weaponized against the public. “My father may have been the originator of the concept of employing the IRS as a weapon of political retribution,” Elliott Roosevelt observed of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The federal tax agency remains a handy bludgeon for politicians from that day through the present, including its recent deployment against Tea Party groups and its power to financially punish (at gunpoint of course) those who can’t afford or don’t wish to purchase government-approved health care plans. 

As Reason noted, yes, weaponizing regulatory agencies has been done before.  But making it explicit strips regulatory authority of any legitimacy. Punishing political opponents is a less compelling argument for such power than claims—valid or otherwise—that you’re enforcing good business practices. If it becomes standard practice, people are entitled to view regulators as nothing more than partisan hitmen and treat them accordingly.

New York’s long-established culture of corrupt and weaponized use of government power is a stain on the state, not something to be made official policy and extended to the country as an example to emulate.

Almost 2/3 Of Americans Have Given Up On Political Parties Citing Corruption In Government

Disillusioned by the promises of politicians and convinced that the entire political system is irreparably corrupt,  many Americans will be staying out of the voting booth for the 2018 elections. This isn’t new, however, as many refused to vote in 2016 as well.

Although that number may seem high, in 2016, faced with the prospect of having to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, 46.9% of eligible voters didn’t even vote in the presidential election. Most of those who no longer vote have given up on the “lesser of two evils” fallacy and the irrational belief that somehow the government has our best interests in mind.

Respondents of the told poll takers at USA Today and Suffolk University in a recent survey:

“Nearly two-thirds of adult U.S. citizens will stay away from the polls during the coming midterm elections, and they say they have given up on the political parties and a system that they say is beyond reform and repair…

A majority of those non-voters would like to see a third party or multiple parties.” –Suffolk University

The Huffington Post noted, “The poll surveyed Americans who aren’t registered to vote or who are registered but say they’re unlikely to cast a ballot. Combined, the two groups include more than 100 million adults, the pollsters note.” And the corruption in government is becoming apparent to those who choose to opt out of voting. About 68 percent of independent voters and party registered voters who say they are unlikely to vote this year agreed with the statement: “I don’t pay much attention to politics because it is so corrupt.” It’s a marked increase over the 54 percent of respondents who agreed to this characterization of politics in the 2012 survey.

The bad news for both major political parties continues too.  According to Truth in Media, around 63 percent of respondents in these categories agreed or strongly agreed with the statement: “I don’t pay much attention to politics because nothing ever gets done – it’s a bunch of empty promises,” which is also up from the 59 percent who said the same nearly six years ago.

Only 22 percent of respondents said the Democratic and Republican parties do a good job of representing Americans’ political views, which is down from 32 percent when the question was asked in 2012.

An increasing number of voters from both sides are beginning to see the corruption and manufactured compassion inherent in most (if not all) politicians.

Good Drivers are Creating a Budget Shortfall, Proving Gov’t Needs You to Break the Law to Fund Itself

The state of California is finding that the business model of relying on drivers to break the law in order to fund the state budget, fails miserably when drivers fail to break the law and cannot be slapped with exorbitant fees and fines.

California’s state budget currently relies on more than $450 million from penalties and fees collected from drivers who have been charged with both criminal and traffic violations. However, while trusting drivers to break the law at a rate that would sustain the state’s massive budget worked for a while, the strategy is now causing the state to go bankrupt.

A summary from the California State Auditor, as reported by Courthouse News, revealed that the revenue collected from citations “has decreased from 39 percent to 25 percent over the last three years as the number of criminal citations filed has decreased.”

The audit claimed that California is now facing a “significant financial burden,” which stems from a disconnected system that “lacks a systematic strategy.” In addition to drivers receiving fewer citations from police officers, the report found that a number of drivers who are cited never pay their fines, even when they accumulate substantial late fees.

As an Op-Ed from The Sacramento Bee noted in January, California is known to have some of the highest traffic fines and fees in the United States, and the drivers who are given citations often face a financial burden that can send them spiraling into debt:

California has among the highest traffic fines and fees in the country—and the steepest consequences for traffic violations are reserved for those who can’t afford the fines and fees. This results in crippling debt for the least fortunate Californians, from whom traffic courts have difficulty collecting any fees at all.

According to the Federal Reserve, nearly half of American households cannot afford $400 in unexpected costs. Yet in California, if a family misses a payment on a traffic fine, they can be slapped with a $300 late fee, raising the cost to as much as $500 for a ticket. That can be followed by a suspended driver’s license or jail time, even for non-safety related violations, such as late registration. Of course, this makes it less likely they can pay the fines.

Courthouse News reported that traffic cases represented the overwhelming majority, “approximately 82 percent on average, of all criminal case filings in the state from 2014 to 2016,” and that the audit report recommends “eliminating the use of penalty and fee revenue as funding sources for state and county programs,” based on the fact that the revenue collected through citations is often “unrelated to the needs of the state and county services.”

“The Legislature should reconsider the entire penalty and fee structure (criminal and traffic), decide whether to adjust or eliminate penalty and fee amounts, and whether to distribute the resulting revenue differently,” the report concluded.

If a business was facing the same problems the state government in California is facing right now, it would likely look for ways to cut its budget, in order to reduce the deficit from the decrease in revenue. However, because this is a state government—and a large, liberal state government, at that—California will likely look to increase the revenue it receives through taxes, in order to keep the same budget.

As a result, the residents of California who have followed the law and have not received any traffic citations will find themselves funding the state’s massive budget anyway, through increased taxes that are imposed upon them against their will.

The high taxes from the states, combined with recent changes to the federal tax law—such as putting a $10,000 cap on the deduction for state and local taxes—are likely to force some high-income residents in California and New York to seek refuge in states like Texas, Arizona, and Nevada.

An Op-Ed from The Wall Street Journal noted that California and New York have lost a total of 2.2 million residents since 2007, and that number is expected to grow by as many as 800,000 people within the next three years:

In places like California, where the top income-tax rate exceeds 13 percent, that tax could be deducted on a federal return. Now that deduction for state and local taxes will be capped at $10,000 per family. Consider what this means if you’re a high-income earner in Silicon Valley or Hollywood. The top tax rate that you actually pay just jumped from about 8.5 percent to 13 percent. Similar figures hold if you live in Manhattan, once New York City’s income tax is factored in. If you earn $10 million or more, your taxes might increase a whopping 50 percent.

While many Republicans celebrated the new tax bill and the mainstream media referred to it as “the most extensive rewrite of the tax code in a generation” when it was signed into law in December 2017, former Texas Congressman Ron Paul called out the government for celebrating tax cuts, without actually cutting taxes.

“Once again, under the guise of ‘tax cuts,’ everyday Americans will be hammered with even HIGHER taxes. Sleight-of-hand and slick marketing are about the only things that governments do very well,” Paul wrote on Facebook.

The current status of the state government in California serves as a reminder that the government’s ultimate goal is to extract revenue from you in order to fund its interests. When that cannot be accomplished by making you pay a large fine for running a red light, exceeding the speed limit, or possessing an “illegal” plant, the government will then turn to raising the taxes you are forced to pay on the goods, services, and housing that are necessities in your life, in order to achieve its original goal.

The Government “Can’t Find” $20 Trillion, While Pension Funds Are Tanking

Alert to pension fund managers all over the planet—and to everyone else—

“If 1,000 US and global pension fund managers start asking questions it could change everything – like stopping a nuclear war.”

That’s a statement from former US Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and now president of Solari, Inc., Catherine Austin Fitts, who is a financial analyst like no other in our time.

Among other feats, she has identified a giant sucking black hole in the US government. And what has disappeared down that hole is money. Over the years, at least $20 trillion.

Unaccounted for.

Gone.

If you’re a pension fund manager, stop reading this article and immediately switch over to Fitts’ article, “The State of Our Pension Funds.”

You could begin to see a blinding light that changes your mind and changes your approach to the staggering debt your fund is dealing with. And in the process, you could help lead the way to a peaceful revolution. A far-reaching revolution, in which wide-ranging prosperity, not doom, sits up the road.

As for everyone else, here are a few of Fitts’ quotes from her mind-repairing article:

“So what is the problem? If it’s not a problem for $21 trillion to go missing from DOD and HUD and it is possible [for the government] to come up with more than $20[plus] trillion to give or loan to the banks [in a bailout] when there is no legal obligation to do so and when we [the government] can transfer trillions of the most valuable technology in the world to private corporations at zero cost to them and great cost to the taxpayers, I assure you that fixing whatever pension fund problem there is, is not difficult. However, the political will must exist and want to. That is the problem.”

“If we can print money to give $20 trillion [plus] to the banks and let $21 trillion go missing from the federal government, why is it a problem to print $5 trillion to fund the pension funds?”

Failing pension funds are on the hook for $5 trillion, and the federal government has no answer? Well, that is a supreme con job, because, as Fitts points out, the government is playing far larger money games without a shred of concern.

And this is just the beginning of the rabbit hole Fitts has been traveling for the past several decades. Here is her basic position: Prosperity for the many, not the few, is eminently possible and doable.

Bitcoins, Beer and the Student Loan Disaster

How much of this should the American taxpayer subsidize?

A large percentage of the $1.48 trillion student loan debt accumulated by Americans was never spent on tuition at all. Instead, much of that money went towards everything from beer, Bitcoin, spring break shenanigans and exotic reptiles.

More than one in five; or 21.2% of college students, surveyed by The Student Loan Report admitted to spending student loan money on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC). That speculation is risky because Bitcoins lost almost 65% of their value between December 2017 and April 2018. A Bitcoin was trading at $19,205.11 on December 17, 2017, and $6,701.40 on April 5, 2018, data from Coinbase indicates.

Disturbingly, buying cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) might be the most responsible thing college students are actually doing with their money. If they hold onto these digital coins, they stand to make money if prices recover.

How Colleges are Bribing Students with Student Loan Debt

Many more students are spending student loan funds on stuff like beer, Spring Break trips, video games, cable TV, big-screen TV sets, Uber rides, pets, bar tabs, pizza, fast food, new smartphones, or payments on new cars.

Such spending is possible because of the way student-loan money is paid to colleges. Under the current system, colleges do not send the lenders a bill for tuition. Instead, the lender sends the college a lump-sum payment to cover the tuition and living expenses.

The college takes the tuition out of the loan money and sends the rest to the student in the form of a check or electronic payment. The student is free to spend the money on whatever he or she wants. Anybody who has ever seen Animal House will know why handing cash to a 20-year old college student is always a bad idea.

Another abuse of the current system is that it appears to give colleges the ability to bribe students with cash. The somewhat shocking aspect is that the “bribes” are being financed with the students’ future earnings.

The Student Loan Disaster is Much Worse Than You Think

The average member of the Class of 2016 owed $37,172 in student loans about graduation, StudentLoanHero.com estimated. That amount was a 6% increase over 2015.

Around 44 million Americans owed $1.48 trillion in student loan debt in January 2018. That figure was more than double the federal deficit which was $640 billion in 2017 and the amount of credit card debt owed by Americans which is estimated to be close to $620 billion.

Student loans are problematic and potentially catastrophic because they cannot be written off through bankruptcy. That means a person has to pay it off, no matter how broke they are or how old the debt is.

Some people have even had their Social Security benefits garnished because of unpaid student loans. Social Security retirement benefits can be garnished for delinquent student loans as well.

Unfortunately, the number of people defaulting on student loans is increasing rapidly. Around 11.5% of people who began repayment on student loans on October 1, 2013, were in default by September 30, 2016, The Chicago Tribune estimated. No estimate on how much of that debt was used to finance beer, spring break parties or cryptocurrency investments was available.

Governments Can’t Stop The Use Of This Cancer Cure … (VIDEO)

What’s the Difference among Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana?

First of all, let’s clear up some definitions. Cannabis sativa is the plant and species; hemp and marijuana are both varieties or subspecies of it. Marijuana is actually a Spanish slang term meaning “Mary-Jane”. Marijuana is simply considered to have a higher THC content than hemp. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is one of the unique phytonutrients or plant chemicals of cannabis. However, both hemp and marijuana contain various cannabinoids, a class of chemicals that activate cell membrane receptors.

A Brief History of the Suppression of Cannabis

To those unfamiliar with the beginning of the United States, it may come as a shock to learn that hemp was a big part of the inception. Not only was hemp (in all of its forms) completely legal, but also it was actually required to be planted by the early colonists! The Founding Fathers made references to it in their writings and grew it themselves. It was widely know that hemp was an incredible plant with a wide variety of uses: textiles, rope, clothing, paper, fuel, nutrition, medicine and recreation. So how did hemp fall from such exalted status to become an illegal “controlled substance”, for which you could be imprisoned due to mere possession of it?

The answer, as with many of aspects of the global conspiracy, comes back to the mega rich and powerful ruling elite families, in this case the Rockefellers. I have written other articles exposing how the Rockefellers invented modern (Western) medicine and created the Big Pharma cartel as a way to sell their petroleum-based drugs. John D. Rockefeller had the reputation as a ruthless businessman who once said, “Competition is sin.” The prohibition movement of the 1920s to ban alcohol was not really about making America more pure or morally upright. It was about the bottom line; Rockefeller wanted to eliminate competition to oil for fuel for motor-based vehicles. Similarly, the movement to ban hemp was also an attempt to destroy competition to oil-based products. Hemp is a powerful competitor to crude oil in many ways. Thus, the propaganda campaign was launched to demonized hemp and marijuana by inventing the fake phenomenon of “reefer madness”. The brainwashing worked and Congress outlawed the plant in various stages, eventually declaring it a controlled substance in 1970.

What is Cannabis Oil?

Cannabis oil is not to be confused with hempseed oil, which is the nutritional oil made from pressing hemp seeds, and is used as a food not a medicine. Medicinal cannabis oil is made by gathering large quantities of cannabis leaves from female plants, using a solvent to strip off some or all of the THC, and boiling off the excess water to produce a rich, gold or brown-colored concentrate. Science has not yet discovered all of the hundreds or thousands of cannabis phytonutrients which are responsible for the healing effects of cannabis oil, but one of the main ones is CBD (Cannabidiol). Excitingly, CBD is being studied all over the world as people are beginning to realize its phenomenal healing benefits. Many clinical studies have shown that CBD is a very effective painkiller – especially for peripheral neuropathy associated with diabetes, arthritis, MS, cancer and other neurodegenerative conditions. CBD is especially brilliant because it prevents and suppresses inflammation. This means it is both a preventative and curative natural medicine. Chronic low level inflammation, as you may know, is the hidden cause of much pain and many diseases, so the potential for cannabis oil to help a lot of people is huge.

Due to recent changes in State legislation in 2014, marijuana is now legal in 20 of the 50 states in the USA. In 2 of these states (Colorado and Washington), it is fully legalized for recreational use, with Oregon and Alaska to come, while the other states or territories require a medical marijuana license (you can see the state-by-state details here). So it has already come a long way, and will continue to go much further. I predict at one point it will be legal in all 50 states in the US, and eventually throughout the world. There is already legislation pending in other American states, and the US Federal Government just decided in its 2015 spending measure that it would no longer allocate funds to the DOJ (Department of Justice) to enforce marijuana laws. That’s the beginning of the end of Federal cannabis prohibition!

Declaring Chemical Warfare On The Brain: Alzheimer’s Drugs Are Neurotoxicants

How Poisoning Has Become The New Standard of Care.

What does the 4 billion dollar a year blockbuster Alzheimer’s drug donepezil (trade name Aricept) have in common with insecticides, chemical weapons and venom? Quite a lot more than consumers taking them have been lead to believe.

As a member of the chemical class known as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors donepezil interferes with the cholinesterase enzyme, preventing the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from breaking down, resulting in an increase in both its levels and duration of action.

While this can result in a temporary increase in memory, there is currently no definitive proof that use of donepezil or other similar agents slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.  Moreover, 21% of patients on this medication discontinue within 12 months due to serious adverse side effects

Donepezil is considered a reversible or non-competitive cholinesterase inhibitor, and therefore will not be as toxic as the reversible competitive or noncompetitive inhibitors of cholinesterase which kill insects and humans through their neurotoxic effects. The problem, however, is that – as is the case with virtually all FDA-approved, novel and patented chemical drugs – it is evolutionarily and biologically unprecedented, representing a classical case of repackaging one of a drug’s many “side effects” as a “therapeutic action.” After all, Alzheimer’s disease, or any neurodegenerative condition, is not caused by a lack of any drug.  In other words, the very premise upon which Alzheimer’s is treated with donepezil is bankrupt at the outset.

In 2010 the World Health Organization published a report which looked at over 71,000 documented cases of drug-induced seizures between 1998 and 2006 and found that donepezil was a major contributing factor in 8.4% of them.

Seizures represent the tip of a massive iceberg of adverse effects. Another classical side effect of organophosphate insecticide poisoning is bradycardia (arrhythmia),  a well documented side effect of donepezil.

What is so outrageous about the present situation is that non-patentable, inexpensive and relatively safe alternatives to intrinsically neurotoxic drugs like donepezil not only exist, but have been confirmed through clinical research.

Take gingko biloba as an example.  In 2006 the European Journal of Neurology published the results of a 24-week randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study showing an extract of this plant was as effective as donepezil for mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease:

Our study suggests that there is no evidence of relevant differences in the efficacy of EGb 761 [gingko biloba] and donepezil in the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s dementia, so the use of both substances can be justified. In addition, this study contributes to establish the efficacy and tolerability of the Ginkgo biloba special extract E.S. in the dementia of the Alzheimer type with special respect to moderately severe stages.  Source

Gingko biloba also has over 100 other potential medicinal applications.

The reality is that there is a vast array of natural approaches available in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, some of which have been demonstrated to regress the disease process by enhancing the clearance of pathological beta-amyloid brain plaque (Abeta).

A 2006 study in the journal of Alzheimer’s Disease reported on this phenomena with the use of curcuminoids (an extract of Turmeric):

The natural product curcuminoids enhanced brain clearance of Abeta in animal models. We, therefore, treated macrophages of six AD patients and 3 controls by curcuminoids in vitro and measured Abeta uptake using fluorescence and confocal microscopy. At baseline, the intensity of Abeta uptake by AD macrophages was significantly lower in comparison to control macrophages and involved surface binding but no intracellular uptake. After treatment of macrophages with curcuminoids, Abeta uptake by macrophages of three of the six AD patients was significantly (P<0.001 to 0.081) increased. Source

When combined with vitamin D, the effect is enhanced, as described in a 2009 study in the same journal. These findings are not novel, as there are at least 30 other studies indicating the anti-Alzheimer’s properties of curcuminoids. Unfortunately, natural substances will never receive FDA drug approval because no one will invest the billion dollars or more in capital (or risk the opportunity costs should it fail) necessary to pay for drug development and clinical trial phases 1, 2 and 3 on a substance that can be grown in your backyard for free. It therefore becomes necessary to alter the structure/function of natural compounds ostensibly to “improve upon nature,” while actually doing nothing more than granting the manufacturer patent exclusivity and a potentially astronomical return on its investment. Of course, the unintended, adverse effects of such a manipulation are devastating which cause the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives from drug-induced toxicity every year.

We should remember that while Nature’s formulas are proprietary – i.e. refractory to the pharmacological gaze – she does not grant patents.  In other words, they are gifts – as health too is our birthright.

Syria Conflict Alert: Russia Claims To Have Found Syrian Rebel Chemical Weapons!

When the United States launched a joint attack on Damascus, Syria stating they were targeting chemical weapons facilities, many balked claiming it was too soon. That all appears to be correct, as Russia claims to have found chemical weapons: in the hands of the US and Saudi-backed jihadist rebels.

The Russian military says that it has found rebel chemical weapons stockpiles in the Syrian town hit by a suspected chemical attack, the town of Douma. And the US is now claiming Russia “hacked” the chemical weapons evidence.  And the rhetoric continues. It wasn’t a far enough stretch to accuse Russia of “hacking the election,” so the US is taking it one step further in their quest to advance a war.

While Russia’s foreign ministry warns that Western powers are interfering with OPCW’s work in Syria (noting that the chemical weapons experts’ access to Douma is being hampered by remaining militants, supported by Washington), as Caitlin Johnstone details, we are now being told by US officials (and I assure you I am not making this up) that if the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons doesn’t find evidence that the Syrian government conducted a chemical weapons attack in Douma last week, it’s because Russia hid the evidence. –Zerohedge

Alexander Rodionov of the military’s chemical weapons protection unit said Tuesday its experts found chlorine and components for producing mustard gas at a rebel laboratory in Douma. Rodionov said the canister with chlorine was similar to the one shown in images released by activists, according to The Associated Press.

Given the immense dearth of evidence we’ve been seeing in support of the establishment Douma narrative and the mounting pile of evidence contradicting it, it sure does make the United States government and its mainstream media propaganda arm look like the liars most of us already know they are. The problem is, however, the media and the corrupt government are ramping up for a war and their rhetoric could be paid for with our lives, so this is an incredibly big deal.

More importantly, The Independent‘s famous war journalist Robert Fisk has published a report which affirms the story so many western government lapdogs have been dismissing as Kremlin propaganda for days now. After interviewing a doctor from the hospital of the area where the Douma attack was supposed to have occurred, Fisk was told by Dr. Assim Rahaibani that what was in actuality an outbreak of respiratory distress among occupants of a dusty oxygen-deprived tunnel was made to look like the aftereffects of a chemical weapons attack when a member of the White Helmets started shouting about a gas attack in front of a bunch of video cameras. Everyone panicked and started hosing themselves down, but in the video, according to Rahaibani, “what you see are people suffering from hypoxia — not gas poisoning.”

Fisk’s report was independently backed up by a reporter from One America News Network named Pearson Sharp, who gave a detailed account of his interviews with officials, doctors, as well as many civilians on the street. Sharp says he deliberately selected at random in order to avoid accusations of bias. Many people interviewed hadn’t even heard that a chemical weapons attack had taken place and the ones who had said it was staged by Jaysh al-Islam. The staff at the hospital, including a medic-in-training who was an eyewitness to the incident, gave the same story as the account in Fisk’s report.

The government and the mainstream media seem intent upon selling us a war based on lies and a complete lack of evidence. Of course it’s easy for the elites to demand a war. It isn’t their blood on the lines after all…

Government Subsidized Medicine Bankrupt Hospitals

Hospitals are now government subsidized monopolies. They have little to do with improving the health of patients but have everything to do with dispensing pharmaceutical industry drugs and treatments. The net result is that small and rural hospitals must merge into mega facilities in order to achieve economy of scale or close altogether because fewer Americans can afford health insurance coverage. Federal and State subsidizes are mounting in a futile attempt to pay for the deficits that arise in providing medical costs for an aging population. This formula has only one outcome, BANKRUPTCY.

At the core of the failed medical culture is the reliance on chemical compounds plagued by dire side effect prescriptions and marketed as miracle drugs. Often the only marvel is that a patient does not die quicker. In order to achieve a healthy lifestyle, the food diet and digested requires a fundamental revamping of what is eaten, how it is processed and most important, what to avoid.

This approach conflicts with the incessant drive to create even bigger bureaucracies and more complex regulations and requirements for access to medical services.

Basing this system on an insurance model guarantees insolvency of a private sector delivery system. Government is all too eager to assume (using their flawed general welfare claim) that schemes like Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare are necessary to pay for and provide medical coverage. The fact that this argument simply does not work should be self-evident.

Hospitals project that their form of treatments are proven. The problem is that their notion of tested practices usually ends up in a body bag. Government funding for Ayurvedic, Homeopath, Massage therapist, Hypnotherapist, Naturopath and Osteopath physicians/practitioner are usually outside the protective cocoon of the administrative boards and foundations connected with medical citadels.

Therapy using alternative methods demand that a sick person or one seeking treatment for some illness mostly pay out of pocket. Around 40 percent of Americans lacked dental insurance at the end of 2012, according to the National Association of Dental Plans. That’s compared to 12.9 percent without health insurance, according to the latest figures from Gallup – May 20, 2015.

If the consumer was actually paying with their own funds for the services and fees administered, the marketplace of costs would be much more responsive to a real or perceived benefit. Hospitals for outpatient care add substantial expense and ridiculous administrative overhead for procedures that have been drive up by the excessive rate amounts approved by government programs.

Medical treatment demands a negotiated agreement between the patient and those who practice the art/science of healing. In this age of the breakdown in rational medical delivery, the unsustainable fiasco of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has destroyed the last refuge of even the appearance of cost-effective medicine.

Only a repudiation of the bloated and unaccountable government oversight administration has even a slight chance to establishing a market based relationship between patient invoicing and effective and reduced costs for services.

Hospitals could rent out physical space, labs, examination rooms and treatment facilities to independent physicians or practitioners who would apply their expertise in consultation with the patient. Charges for such services would be the responsibility of those suffering from an illness. In this manner a balance in the relationship that reflects an agreed to value would have the effect to keep invoicing realistic.

Government subsidies only drive up costs. Mega hospitals by consolidating and closing down their rivals add layers of bureaucratic inefficiency and unaccountability, while diminishing choice for treatment with every closing or liquidation.

If patients added up the cumulative billing for hospital, doctor and prescription drugs, and paid such bills with their own funds; they surely would become educated consumers. Saving from opting out of medical insurance would accumulate over the years and grow for the time when such funds might be needed to satisfy whatever treatment option is sought.

The myth that society has a responsibility to make available whatever treatment procedure to cure, prolong or experiment using government funds has guaranteed that national bankruptcy is the inevitable prognosis. Fostering the conditions that close hospital competition is simply developing the “too big to fail” theory applied to medical treatment.

And where is the doctor outrage in this formula? Lawsuit fights “existential threat” to medical staff independence illustrates the trend to squeeze out the last blood dollar from the artificial and government sponsored hospital model.

“The suits stems from actions taken Jan. 26, 2016, when the Tulare Regional Medical Center (TRMC) board of directors voted to terminate the hospital’s medical staff organization and effectively remove the hospital’s elected medical staff officers, install a slate of appointed officers, and approve new medical staff bylaws and rules drafted without staff input.

Except for the newly appointed officers, the rest of the staff was then terminated, stripped of their rights as active members and then granted “provisional” status as part of the new medical staff which they had not applied or consented to membership with, according to a post-trial brief filed by the TRMC Medical Staff.

The replacement bylaws also contained a provision, since amended, that physicians could achieve and maintain “active” status by proving their economic value to the hospital, according to the brief—which described that provision as “basically, an illegal kickback scheme.”

“If you could imagine hospital medical staff bylaws written by hospital lawyers, this is what they would look like,” Do said. “Doctors shouldn’t be making decisions on patient care based on hospital profitability.”

The net result is to force out the regional, rural or independent facilities and structure the supra corporate hospital into a partnership with government, where other clinics need not apply. This Is not exactly a M*A*S*H, medical emergency unit, but more closely resembles a sanatorium of demented technocrats. Save health services by converting them into alternative medicine facilities. Cancel your health insurance and start saving to pay for a future illness. Get government out of the health care business and return sanity so the sick can decide just what treatment they want.

YouTube & Twitter Censor And Ban Comedian For Saying Kids Shouldn’t Be Subjected To Hormone Therapy

Censorship continues to run rampant through all social media platforms. YouTube and Twitter have now completely banned a conservative comedian for daring to suggest children should not be subjected to the horrific bodily changes that come with hormone therapy.

Mike Adams, the founder of Natural News and known as The Health Ranger has already experienced a YouTube ban for not towing the government’s line when it comes to vaccines or politics. An article on his website made sure to get the point across loudly and clearly for all those who haven’t quite woken up just yet.

If you’re a conservative and you are in the public square — as a publisher, an entertainer, a writer, or part of the academic commentariat — you’re going to be banned at some point from all of your social media accounts.

That’s because at some point you’re going to drop a massive truth bomb that the Marxist snowflakes don’t like and they’re just going to ban you out of spite, hatred, disgust, etc. -Natural News

Conservative comedian and actor Owen Benjamin, who has recently been suspended permanently from YouTube and Twitter, found out just how far the left is willing to go to silence those they disagree with. As The Gateway Pundit reports, “when attempting to access his [Twitter] account, which boasted over 120,000 followers, users are met with this message: ‘This account has been suspended.’ Benjamin was considered ‘controversial’ by some for his belief that children should not be subjected to hormone therapy.”’

“Both my Twitter accounts suspended and now my ability to make an income has been revoked,” he wrote, inviting his fans to join him on the social media site Patreon. “This is disgusting. I have a two-year-old [sic] and a pregnant wife and they just set my life back to 0 with on [sic] big swoop. I just worked tirelessly for the last 5 months building my online ability to make a living and it’s all gone. You will be next. Fight it now,” Benjamin warned his followers.

No specific tweet has been cited by Twitter as a reason for Benjamin’s suspension from the social media platform.  However, there is speculation that the suspension is not only based on his belief that children should not undergo hormone therapy. There is an inkling that it could be the result of him also calling out far left poster-child David Hogg; the kid who is demanding the government take away the rights of everyone because of the actions of one psycho.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong? DHS Is Compiling A Database Of Journalists And ‘Media Influencers’

Not only are self-defense rights, free speech, and freedom of religion are under attack in the United States. The government has now decided to also battle the freedom of the press and has enlisted the Department of Homeland Security to help them in their quest to squash liberty.

It could be because not all media outlets tow the line and promote the government as their religious supreme deity. Or it could just be that there will be an attempt to hush those who speak out against the government. Or the new database could just list those involved in media and journalism and mean nothing. And if you believe that last one, we’ve got some beach front property in Wyoming to sell you.

Every day, journalists face serious consequences including physical violence, imprisonment and death. A few days ago, the Committee to Protect Journalists launched its annual Free The Press campaign to raise awareness about imprisoned journalists throughout the world. On May 3, UNESCO will once again mark “World Press Freedom Day“to inform citizens of violations of press freedom — a reminder that in dozens of countries around the world, publications are censored, fined, suspended and closed down, while journalists, editors and publishers are harassed, attacked, detained and even murdered.” –Forbes

But that’s all beginning now, here, in the “land of the free.” Last week, SHTFPlan interviewed Sarah Leach who was detained without charges for survivalist posts on her own Facebook page. But we are expected to believe that DHS has no nefarious reasoning for compiling a list of all journalists, bloggers, podcasters, or as they like to call them: “media influencers”?

FedBizOpps.gov posted a relatively benign-sounding subject: “Media Monitoring Services” by DHS. Of course, the government always makes basic human rights violations sound benign when we all know they are anything but. The details of the attached Statement of Work outline a plan to gather and monitor the public activities of media professionals and influencers and are enough to cause nightmares of constitutional and basic fundamental human rights proportions, particularly as the freedom of the press is under attack worldwide. Yes, that includes in the United States.

And “attack” is not hyperbolic.

Just take one look at the “fake news” epidemic. While outlets like CNN get away with bold-faced lies, others who tell the truth are labeled “conspiracy theorists,” and that’s all by design.

Any time a credible but politically unpalatable explanation for real-world events is expressed in the American public sphere, it is often denounced as “conspiracy theory”, then dismissed and studiously ignored by the mass media. Public opinion, the public herd mind, obediently follows suit and closes itself to any such crazy conspiracy talk. –Econintersect

It’s already been discovered that the fake news “public relations” (which is what the father of propaganda, Edward Bernays, renamed propaganda so it would be more easily digested by the masses) attempt was an attack by Democrats in 2016 and meant to discredit anyone who didn’t support their leftist agenda.

Without propaganda and brainwashing, leftist policies would have died decades ago. People are born wanting freedom from tyranny. It takes an effective campaign starting in childhood to change their minds and support their masters willingly while decrying those who seek actual freedom from oppression. –The Daily Sheeple

So can we take a guess as to who will at the most risk of the government-compiled list of “media influencers?” If you’ve guessed those critical of the government, you’d be correct. It certainly seems like the government is losing control over the minds of too many as critical thought makes a comeback and pushes back on the propaganda spoon-fed to the willing sheep.

Unfortunately, increasing government encroachment on the freedom of the press is the sinister backdrop to all of this. Freedom House, which has monitored the status of the press for nearly 40 years, recently concluded that global media freedom has reached its lowest level in the past 13 years. The independent watchdog organization blames “new threats to journalists and media outlets in major democracies” as well as “further crackdowns on independent media in authoritarian countries like Russia and China.” And then it goes one step further. –Forbes

Forbes then posed two questions that won’t readily be answered, and when they are, it will probably be too late for liberty. Could this DHS action be a way for the government to keep track of American and foreign journalists as well as “citizen journalists,” threatening not only the freedom of the press but also individual freedom of speech? And what, exactly, is the government planning to do with the information that it compiles?

Six Teens Stabbed During ‘Night Of Violence’ In Gun-Free London: Mayor Demands More Knife Control

London’s violence continues to soar out of control after six teenagers were stabbed in 90 minutes during what’s being dubbed the “night of violence” in Great Britain’s gun-free capital. As the United Kingdom continues to punish self-defense, the criminals are free to wreak havoc on the city.

Most mainstream media outlets continue to fail to mention that much of United Kingdom is disarmed, and there have been some pretty stringent “knife-control” measures enacted as well to attempt to stop the surge in stabbings.  But none of their laws are helping, as criminals have figured out they are the only ones armed and those who even make an effort to defend their own lives or property will be prosecuted.

These six stabbing incidents come mere days after London’s murder rate surpassed New York City’s for the first time. At least 55 people have been killed in London in 2018, with over 30 of them dying in stabbing attacks. And with murder still banned, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, insists on more knife control.

“There is never a reason to carry a knife,” said Khan. Except for self-defense, a basic human right, since the law disarmed those who obey it.

A 78-year-old homeowner in London has been arrested for “murdering” an armed burglar who attempted to steal from the older man.  The burglar was stabbed in the homeowner’s kitchen as a second thief fled, and later died at the hospital.

As violence surges across the pond in London, homeowners have had to take the defense of their lives and property into their own hands – but the UK government is punishing them for it. According to The Daily Mail, a 78-year-old homeowner has been arrested by murder detectives after clashing with a suspected burglar who later died from a stab wound.

Someone should tell those in the governments violating basic fundamental human rights that self-defense is one of those basic human rights. -SHTFPlan

Cressida Dick, the commissioner of London’s Metropolitan Police Service, vowed to use “Al Capone” tactics to try and halt the violence, which isn’t a surprise coming from any government since they want the monopoly on violence.  But the Mayor continues to focus on punishing those who try to defend themselves while making it harder for them to legally do so.

The mayor plans to “boost police power” and give “knife wands” to schools to “keep kids safe.” Knife wands are nothing more than hand-held metal-detecting wands.  While they may stop a knife from getting in the school, they are useless for anyone to use in a self-defense situation.  The only idea government can ever come up with, is more government.  London is quickly on its way to becoming East Berlin of the early 1940s.

In the last 2000 years of civilization, governments have yet to figure out what the rest of us already know: making it harder for the good people to defend themselves during a massacre (of any kind) won’t stop the evil from committing horrific acts of violence against the innocent.
