Big props to Chris Cuomo on this one! — It looks like CNN may be trying to redeem themselves after their two-year-long fake news fiasco

(INTELLIHUB) — Well, I have to admit, although I am not much of a Chris Cuomo fan I have to say he absolutely killed it during Monday night’s broadcast when he confronted House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on the memo. In fact, much props to Cuomo for his effort. His persistence may have even bumped CNN’s tarnished reputation back up one notch — or not. LOL.

In the interview, Cuomo sided with the American people for once in his life.

“I have to believe that it’s hard for the American people to have faith that anybody in this city [D.C.] where we are right now is out for the truth and not out for politics,” Cuomo told Pelosi. “I can understand why they [the American people] want it all released […] I can understand why they want it all out because they say ‘you know what we can’t trust you guys — let us read it — let us figure it out — you can redact the names — you can make it safe enough for us to look at’ because they say the same thing about you.”

‘They are talking about this memo like its the Holy Grail of the truth about what was going on during the campaign,’ he explained while the haggard minority leader fidgeted her jaw back and forth like a Tweaker on a hot summer day.

Pelosi looked nervous. So nervous as to which it almost made her look reptilian to some extent. Her makeup was just caked on.

“It’s not even true,” Pelosi pleaded. “They have made up a memo that isn’t even true and they are lying to the American people.”

Father Of Daughter Killed In Parkland Slams The MSM For Talking About Guns, Not Safety

Andrew Pollack, whose daughter was killed in the recent Parkland shooting, appeared on Fox News Sunday and finally added some common sense to the media’s anti-gun hysteria. Pollack blasted the media for making the incident about gun control rather than “school safety.”

Pollack is finally discussing school safety rather than limiting the rights of those who haven’t committed any crime. In the wake of the shooting, the media has remained hyper-focused on gun control, with CNN even hosting a scripted and propagandized “town hall” event featuring students from Parkland.

The interview began when Chris Wallace asked if what president Donald Trump had proposed will stop mass school shootings. “I want to say right at the start how sorry all of us are for your loss, and what you’ve had to go through. Andrew, when you were at the White House at that very raw, emotional moment, you said, “Look, after 9/11, we fixed the situation; we made it a lot harder for people to get onto planes with guns.” When you hear what Governor Scott just said; when you hear what President Trump is saying; will that fix the problem?”

Of course, Wallace wanted Pollack to agree that taking guns away from those who committed no crime would be an effective solution. But Pollack did not tow the line for the mainstream media.

It’s not gonna be fixed because I just heard what you said, what you’re focusing on. Polarizing this event – the murder of these kids. You’re talking about gun control. I just had to listen to you and Governor Scott talk about gun control.

Gun control is a big issue. No one in America is gonna come together on gun control, Chris. We’re here – you didn’t say one thing about fixing it. The American people, we could get together on school safety, but when you polarize it, this event – and every other media – we don’t care about gun control right now. That’s a big issue in the country and you’re not going to get everyone together on it. But we’re gonna get everyone together on fixing our schools.

And I just listened to you…you didn’t mention one question to Governor Scott about what are we gonna do about the security for our children – how are we gonna do that?

But you’re just talking about gun control, which is gonna just give you more ratings…

Our kids are going to school in Kentucky on Monday – how are those kids safe? How about bringing that up to the media? How about bringing that up to Governor Scott? Not about guns. It’s not about guns now. Today, it’s not about guns, it’s about the safety in our schools. …

My kid’s not here because the schools weren’t safe – that’s the main thing. You go into a courthouse, the judge is safe; the stenographer’s not worried someone’s coming in with a gun because they can’t get in with a gun. The American people, we just want our schools safe. We don’t wanna talk about guns right now.

Pollack’s comments are oddly reminiscent of those of NRA spokesman, Colion Noir, who said school safety should be more important than “adding more words to our ‘no bite’ sign.” Noir also suggested armed guards and metal detectors in schools. Afterall, we protect our money and politicians with such safety measures, why not our children?

“You can’t legislate evil! That’s like holding up a “no biting” sign in front of a rabid dog and expecting it not to bite you. So instead of wasting time adding more words to our ‘no bite’ sign, how about we focus on how to stop the evil when it arises. Gun free zone signs don’t keep guns out of school, especially in the hands of mass murders who aren’t phased by signs telling them they’re not supposed to bring guns in schools.” -Colion Noir

But the media obviously has an agenda to push, and they doing it. They need their brainwashing campaign to work, and for all of the those fighting for gun control to be so terrified of their rights that they will cling to the feet of their generated god, the government, and beg for safety. That’s the worst part of all of this; watching fellow Americans demand their rights and the rights of others be taken away because some lunatic committed an atrocity. We’ve all heard the saying by now: “it’s easier to fool someone than convince them that they have been fooled.”

Raising Rifle-Buying Age to 21 Leads to Inconvenient Truth

“I absolutely believe that in this country if you are 18 years of age, you should not be able to buy a rifle, and I will support a law that takes that right away,” Sen. Marco Rubio pandered to an inflamed mob at a CNN “town hall meeting,” drawing applause from a crowd that for the most part would never vote for him in a million years, no matter how many gun owners he betrays. And he wasn’t done throwing those that trusted him with political power under the bus, also offering up a “bump stock” ban, prior restraint disarmament orders and a willingness to put a normal capacity magazine ban on the table. That and he’s dead set on keeping schools “gun-free zones,” nixing any plan to recognize the right of teachers who so choose to keep and bear arms.

So naturally it was in CNN’s interest to portray this poltroon, who by his own words doesn’t understand what a right is and that no one has legitimate authority to take any away, as “a staunch supporter of Second Amendment rights.”  Getting low-information viewers to swallow that lie allows them to portray anyone who opposes serial surrenders as an “extremist,” and with just a bit more media conflation, as a fascist and a hater.

And Rubio is hardly alone. Donald Trump has now thrown his hat in the “Ban semi-auto rifles for anyone under 21” ring. It’s fair to wonder, with the green light given him by NRA on “Fix NICS” and “bump stocks,” if his contention that “The NRA will back it and so will Congress” means any vocal opposition from Fairfax will be for show, and at the end of the day members will be fed a load of “Who else do you have to vote for?”

It’s also fair to wonder how anyone with judgment so impaired they’re too young to own a semi-auto could be considered mature enough to vote, to contract, to parent, to cohabit or marry, to join the military and deploy with actual “in common use at the time” ordnance,” or to make any of the daily adult choices expected of a free citizen. Instead, we see a “progressive” law professor making the case—as amplified by CNN, to lower the voting age to 16.

Time was, that would have been considered “the yeomanry of America,” but that’s not what they have in mind. Anybody remember “Wild in the Streets”?

Never ones to let a crisis they contribute to go to waste, CNN has resurrected a video from Bryant Gumbel showing a 13-year-old buying a bolt-action .22 from a private collector at  a Virginia gun show. What is it with CNN and scripts, or with gun-grabbers using actors?

“The HBO clip has resurfaced following a deadly school shooting in Florida,” The Daily Mail “reports.”  All by its own self, no doubt. And it’s being used to show minors can’t buy cigarettes, scratch-offs and porn, but it’s open season on children  and unrestricted gun sales.

First, consider the source. We’re talking about someone who calls us “pigs.” They admit things are scripted, but not how much.  Who is the seller?  Which gun show did this take place at?  Does it require an adult to accompany juveniles to get in, so would it be fair for a seller to assume “adults” he could have seen with the boy were overseeing things, and that he’d have some ‘splainin’ to do when he showed up with purchase in hand for the ride home?

What else was said, by or to him, by the boy or by the crew that has not been revealed in order to maintain a “pig” presumption with viewers?

In any case, Virginia law was not broken. While the Code of Virginia makes it “unlawful for any person under 18 years of age to knowingly and intentionally possess or transport a handgun or assault firearm anywhere in the Commonwealth,” the same does not apply to the rifle allegedly purchased on camera.

That’s the way things have been in much of the country for much of my lifetime.

Time was, boys and rifles did not result in school shooting headlines.

Years back I related the story of a friend of mine, then 13, who used to take his scoped .22 rifle on a Santa Monica bus to do target practice, opening the action to show the driver it was unloaded and walking several blocks to and from the range. I’ve told the story in “Lies of Omission” of my encounter with a deputy while my friends and I were having fun with a 16-gauge shotgun.

“You boys being careful?” he asked after rolling down the cruiser window, getting a feel for our demeanor and behavior.

“Yes sir,” I replied, gun broken open.

“See that you are,” he replied before driving off, satisfied that there would be no need to prone us out, and that we were doing nothing any different than what he used to do when he was our age. If any stop signs showed up peppered with dents, he had my license plate.

It was a way of life, especially in Virginia before the “progressive” grasp over all aspects of our lives had established an intended death grip on everyone’s throats. Boys routinely took rifles with them to school to do some hunting on the way home. It was part of a culture those who would “fundamentally transform” America need to destroy.  And what the idiot Republicans going along with the betrayal of their oaths fail to account for is that “21” is just another incremental slide down the “slippery slope.”  The gun-grabbers don’t want anyone of any age who is not serving the power elites to own a rifle (or a handgun) for the same reason totalitarians throughout history have looked to citizen disarmament as their best guarantor of success.

But what these examples of past freedoms enjoyed by young people throughout our history prove beyond any doubt is that we, who they furiously demand to disarm, could be trusted with guns when we were young, as could those who raised us. Look at the “progression” of the numbers of incidents as the country changed politically, and the objective conclusion is that the Republic Mr. Franklin challenged us to keep is being destroyed from within by an oxymoronic  culture of “progressive values.”

Helping that along is rapidly accelerating slow suicide. Republicans either need to stop being useful idiots or else admit the false “conservative” wing is –and has been all along — a controlled opposition con job. With each new betrayal, they’re making it easier and easier to assume the worst.

Shooting Survivor: ‘CNN Gave Me A Scripted Question’ After Denying Question Of Armed Guards

This is yet another propaganda alert coming straight from one of the survivors of the Florida school shooting.  He says CNN gave him a scripted question after denying him the right to ask about armed guards.

According to Real Clear Politics, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Colton Haab said he was approached by CNN to ask a question at Wednesday night’s town hall but decided not to after the network gave him a “scripted question,”  and quashing the one he wrote himself. Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC shielded students while the school was under attack from the shooter, said he was going to ask about using veterans as armed security guards. 

That doesn’t fit CNN‘s narrative, however, so they disallowed Haab from simply asking his question. “CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted,” Haab told WPLG-TV.  “I don’t think that it’s going get anything accomplished. It’s not gonna ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have.”

“I expected to be able to ask my questions and give my opinion on my questions,” Haab said.

“Colton Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC who shielded classmates in the midst of terror says he did not get to share his experience,” WPLG’s Janine Stanwood explained. “Colton wrote questions about school safety, suggested using veterans as armed school security guards but claims CNN wanted him to ask a scripted question instead so he decided not to go,” Stanwood reported.

So what was CNN‘s response? “CNN did not, and does not, script any questions for town hall meetings, ever.”

Anyone believing CNN has an agenda other than that of the anti-gun global elites is not paying attention. Guns are not going anywhere.  We’ve been through this before.  And we’ll keep going through it until good people aren’t disarmed and made sitting ducks, or the highly offended left finally decides it’s important to protect our children with the same methods we protect our money.

Fake News CNN Pushes False Story About AR-15 Purchase

It’s becoming clear that most mainstream media news is nothing more than globalist propaganda.  CNN’s Chris Cuomo proved that when he pushed a story about a lying kid who said he purchased an AR-15 without an ID.  But Cuomo was busted, then continued to deflect from the fact that he pushed a fake story.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo retweeted the account of one @usaphotodude quoting a reporter named Cody Davis on Tuesday. The tweet read, “I was able to buy an AR-15 in five minutes. I’m 20 and my ID is expired.” There’s only one problem: that never happened. The article itself states, “After [the sales representative] walked me through the paperwork, all five pages of it, I told him I changed my mind and wanted to think more before I bought an AR-15. He told me it wasn’t a problem and listed the store hours if I wanted to come back. I then said thank you and walked back to my car.”

The tweet actually says that the gut never filled out paperwork, a necessary step to purchasing a gun, which would then be run through the background check system.  But Cuomo obviously didn’t read that part or didn’t care. And then deflected the conversation and lied further.

According to the Daily Wire, when called on it, Cuomo tweeted, “Isn’t the point that the kid’s age and lack of ID wasn’t a deterrent? and this isn’t all gun shops. Place I bought my shotgun basically goes farther than the law requires and makes judgments about whom to sell to. Point is the system should be better.”

Which, of course, is not the point. The point is that Cuomo tweeted out false information. National Review’s Charles Cooke pointed that out:

The point is, CNN is full of antigun wackos who don’t care about individual rights.  As long as the government is all powerful and remains their savior, they will push propaganda and even bold-faced lies as a means of manipulating public opinion regardless of facts.

Florida Shooting Survivor EXPOSED? ‘My Father’s A Retired FBI Agent’

Florida school shooting survivor and now pseudo famous anti-gun activist, David Hogg has been exposed.  His father was in the FBI, and he appears to have been coached on his anti-gun and anti-Trump rhetoric.

Anyone who has been following the news could tell about the scandal involving the FBI, who in collusion with the Obama Administration and Clinton campaign, set out to push the false “verification” of the junk Steele Dossier. It has also been widely reported that the FBI received tips well in advance of the Florida school shooting and decided, for whatever reason, not to act.

Hogg is now so media obsessed and determined to continue the propaganda charade that he snubbed an invitation to meet with President Donald Trump this Wednesday in favor of appearing on a televised town hall with CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Few have seen this type of rapid media play before, and when they have it has come from well-trained political operatives and MSM commentators. Immediately, these students-turned-activists threw up some red flags. In what was initially as an incredibly odd move for a high school student, Hogg vehemently defended the FBI and placed the blame squarely on the President’s shoulders…. before admitting that his father was in the FBI. –Gateway Pundit

“I think it’s disgusting, personally. My father’s a retired FBI agent and the FBI are some of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen in my life,” proclaimed David Hogg to CNN. “It’s wrong that the president is blaming them for this.”

Adding to the “credibility” of Hogg, in a recently uncovered early cut from one of his interviews it appears he was heavily coached on lines and is merely reciting a script. Frequently seen in the footage mouthing the lines he should be reciting. Hogg becomes flustered multiple times, is seen apologizing, and asking for re-takes.

Many immediately snapped to Hogg’s defense saying he was just a nervous and traumatized kid who is having trouble expressing his emotions during such a difficult time.  But another interview surfaced of Hogg speaking much more smoothly from 2017.

Of course, an incident with a lifeguard isn’t the same thing as being a student during a school shooting.  But what about this information?  It seems ironic at best to see that the altercation with a lifeguard happened in Redondo Beach, California, and there are claims he went to school in that same area, although many say they are able to debunk this information.

A clueless Hogg appeared unaware of the fact that the President is not “in control” of each department and branch of government, but must work and negotiate with them. Regardless, Hogg pushed the notion that Trump is in charge of the FBI. “He can’t put that off on them. He is in charge of them and these people, what they love to do is push this off on bureaucracy and say it’s not them,” he said. “He is in charge of the FBI … the executive branch is supposed to enforce laws and as such, President Trump is in charge of that and the FBI.”

Hogg has come out publically in the media to declare he isn’t a crisis actor and some of those who have called him a crisis actor have lost their jobs.

CNN Openly Admits That They Are Leftist Anti-Gun Activists Masquerading As Journalists As They Publish NRA Name And Shame List

Since the moment the news broke that yet another horrific mass shooting had taken place in America, this time in Parkland, Florida, the mainstream media has been quick to blame private gun ownership while heavily promoting those that are pushing gun control.

No network has shown their leftist leanings more than CNN, which has gone into full blown overdrive in their around the clock anti-gun coverage, with the first 7 articles on their homepage, including their featured story, all attacking the NRA and promoting leftist gun control causes.

The featured story was a direct attack on the NRA itself as it contained a sort of “name and shame” list of Florida politicians who were terrible people responsible for children dying because they had taken money from the National Rifle Association.

Interestingly, the piece was marketed as an actual news report while openly promoting and admitting that the authors of the article were anti-gun activists themselves!

Nearly a week after a gunman stormed the hallways of their school in a deadly rampage, students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are heading to Florida’s state Capitol to demand lawmakers take action on gun control.

Meanwhile, gun control advocates are putting pressure on Florida representatives who take money from the National Rifle Association.

Here’s a list of members of Congress from Florida who received contributions during the 2016 election cycle from the group’s political action committee, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund. All of them are Republicans.

It does not get more blatant than that. The reporters literally note that gun control advocates are putting pressure on Florida representatives then they themselves put pressure on said politicians by actually creating a list with all their names and the amount of money they took.

Keep in mind that the so-called reporters for CNN, who are so busy worrying about 3,000 dollar donations, are also purposefully ignoring the hundreds of millions of dollars that the anti-gun left has put into gun control measures throughout the country.

As Clifford Cunningham noted, the entire establishment is conducting a massive psychological campaign against the NRA and the tens of millions of gun owners across the United States. This includes the supposedly non-partisan Florida school shooting survivors who have parroted Democratic talking points for the last week.

Supposedly apolitical student activists who survived the high school shooting in Parkland, Florida wasted little time in attacking the NRA, with one suggesting the organization supports “child murderers” and another calling for it to disband.

“Here’s a time to talk about gun control: March 24. My message for the people in office is: You’re either with us or against us. We are losing our lives while the adults are playing around,” declared high school student Cameron Kasky in an interview with CNN.

Another student demanded the organization immediately disband, while claiming politicians who receive campaign contributions from the NRA are “accepting blood money” and are “against the children.”

“Disband, dismantle … don’t make another organization under a different name. Don’t you dare come back here,” said student Emma Gonzalez. “The fact that you were in power for so long and that you had so much influence for so long in America just goes to show how much time and effort we still need to spend on fixing our country.”

She also noted gun control “is just the first thing” they are focused on – leading one to question just how non-partisan their supposedly apolitical grassroots activism really is.

Make no mistake, this is a clear cut operation to limit and then eventually ban private gun ownership in America, all under the guise of protecting children who the anti-gun left are only too happy to use for their partisan political objectives.

One can only hope that the majority of Americans see through this obvious propaganda campaign and continue to support the absolutely fundamental right to bear arms.

Fake News Network, a.k.a CNN, Concerned about Trump´s “Heart Disease” (VIDEO)

(The Real Agenda News) Never in the history of television news, at least since I´ve been on this planet, has an alleged news network shown so much concern with a president´s health as shown by the Fake News Network (CNN).

It is redundant to say that CNN is at war with Donald Trump and that both CNN and its twin sister MSNBC, among other corporate disinformation houses, are throwing everything they got on the US President.

Trump seems to be on stage three of Mahatma Ghandi´s quote ” First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”.

When he announced his bid for the presidency, Donald Trump was both ignored and laughed at by most mainstream media.

After his numbers went up and he started showing Republican candidates the door, mainstream media outlets began attacking him, and that is the stage where things are at up until today.

All of a sudden, CNN and other Liberal disinformation networks are extremely concerned with the President´s health, more specifically, his heart.

It is strange to say the least, since they were not concerned at all with Hillary Clinton´s health during the campaign, despite her continuous coughing and collapses in public events.

With Clinton, it was all a conspiracy theory when people questioned her fitness to be president, but now, even after Trump´s physical and cognitive tests results were made public, mainstream media are looking at any little detail they can explore to raise concern about the President´s health.

CNN and other disinformation networks have lost star power, credibility and more importantly, they´ve lost hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Many of those stars have been caught lying to the public or involved in sexual scandals, which resulted in them being put in the freezer for a while or simply being fired altogether.

After losing all star power as well as almost all credibility, the fake news industry has resorted to mercilessly attacking pretty much anyone who disagrees with the business as usual agenda, and Trump is at the center of it.

As cited before, CNN´s great concern is not only strange but also suspicious.

Mainstream media are known for participating in the mass brainwashing of entire populations and with Trump, it seems they are warning about an imminent case of sudden death via heart disease.

As reported by Kit Daniels, it seems that CNN and other disinformation networks are preparing the public for a declaration that the President is unfit to lead, due to whatever they want to make up.

“Why is the network making an armchair diagnosis that Trump suffers from “heart disease,” despite his recent physical indicating excellent health?,” asks Daniels. This extreme concern with Trump´s well-being was not seen with Hillary Clinton or any other candidate before.

Another CNN talking head, Brian Stelter, did not like Dr. Ronny Jackson’s presentation of Trump´s health, even though it is based on actual tests performed on the US President.

It is important to say that neither does Stelter have a medical degree nor medical training to have the necessary credibility to analyze anyone´s state of health. It is also relevant to say that Dr. Jackson also performed Barack Obama´s medical tests, although, Obama’s cognitive function was not explicitly questioned or tested as it was done with Trump.

CNN and the rest of the Liberal mainstream media have largely become opinion-based disinformation operations whose only goal is to distract rather than to inform.

Most of CNN´s shows resemble comedy or entertainment skids out of Saturday Night Live. Worse, CNN and all other disinformation networks choose to spend 24 hours of airtime talking about unproven “news” rather than doing their duty: fact-checking and informing the public with as little of a bias as possible.

Remember The CIA’s Heart Attack Gun? CNN Predicts That President Trump Will Die From A Heart Attack

CNN keeps predicting Trump will die of a heart attack, which brings to mind the CIA poison dart gun that can trigger one.

Revealed by the Church Committee in 1975, the “heart attack gun” is a modified 1911 that can shoot a dart with a deadly poison that’s nearly undetectable – which is perfect for political assassinations.

“The poison was frozen into some sort of dart and then it was shot at very high speed into the person,” said CIA whistleblower Mary Embree. “When it reached the person it would melt inside them, and there would be a tiny red dot on their body, which was hard to detect.”

“There wouldn’t be a needle or anything like that left in the person.”

Then-CIA Director William Colby confirmed the gun could fire a special dart which “potentially would be able to enter the target without perception,” adding that an autopsy would fail to detect the dart’s poison.

Of course, the heart attack gun is 40-year-old technology, so it’s theoretically possible to now deliver heart attack-inducing toxins to someone without needing a dart.

But for Trump to suddenly die of a heart attack from “natural causes,” the public must be conditioned to believe he was at risk for one.

Conveniently enough, CNN now has this weird obsession with Trump’s “risk” of a heart attack:

Because of Trump’s calcium score, CNN predicted the president will have a “heart attack or heart disease” in “3-5 years.”

But [CNN medical analyst Sanji] Gupta was more aggressive.

“So the president has heart disease,” he declared.

Yesterday, CNN host Brian Stelter didn’t accept Dr. Ronny Jackson’s findings [Trump’s examiner], either.

In yet another example that proves that the mainstream media is perfectly fine with violence against President Trump, MSNBC aired an interview with Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe during which the Democrat openly spoke about punching the President of the United States in the face.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, responding to rumors that McAuliffe might run for president in 2020, asked the governor what he would do if Trump tried to intimidate him as he supposedly did to so many other politicians during his historic campaign.

“He intimidates his opponents. He takes people like Jeb Bush and makes them look weak. He says “Low energy Jeb” and it works. He refers to somebody as ‘Little Marco’ because he’s not as tall as he is. He finds anybody’s weakness and turns it into something that destroys them.” Matthews noted.

“What would you do in a debate with him if he tried that? If he came over and leaned over back of you, what would you do?” Matthews continued before allowing the governor to directly speak about attacking the president.

“You would have to pick him up off the floor,” McAuliffe shockingly responded.

Amazingly, Matthews actually thought this direct (and possibly illegal) threat to the president was hysterical, going as far as to have the governor repeat said threat itself.

“OK, you mean, you’d deck him?” Matthews continued.

“Listen, this guy got in my space, you want to get in my space, I’ve always said, Chris, you punch me back twice as hard, and it wouldn’t be hard to do it,” McAuliffe responded.

“This guy thinks he can intimidate everybody. It’s disgraceful and embarrassing, but I tell you, when we take him on, back in his face with the facts, don’t take anything from him and hit him back as hard as you possibly can.” the liberal governor continued.

“But if he ever came over and leaned on me and got in my space, that would be the last time Donald Trump ever did that, I promise you that,” McAuliffe threatened.

Matthews ended the segment openly excited over the threats against the president while noting that the segment would go viral.

Make no mistake folks, this is the mainstream media at its finest and is even more proof that anti-Trump media talking heads are actually trying to drum up enough anger against Trump that someone finally snaps and goes after him in a violent manner.

Breaking: Steve Bannon Steps Down From Breitbart News After War Of Words With Trump

In a stunning downfall for a man once close to the very pinnacle of power, former chief strategist to President Trump, Steve Bannon, has stepped down from Breitbart News after a week of public infighting between the pair that included a sharply worded rebuke by the president.

The news was announced in a short article posted on the Breitbart website that claimed that Bannon and the right-wing news outlet would work together for a smooth transition during what has been a trying time for all involved.

“I’m proud of what the Breitbart team has accomplished in so short a period of time in building out a world-class news platform,” Bannon noted in his statement.

For their part, the mainstream media couldn’t be happier, with anti-Trump news network CNN actually providing live updates on Bannon’s ouster as if it were some sort of natural disaster that Americans needed up to the minute coverage on.

CNN “reported”:

A Breitbart employee, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter, told CNN that “everyone seems stunned.”

SiriusXM also announced it had ended its relationship with Bannon, saying in a statement, “Breitbart News has decided to end its relationship with Stephen K. Bannon, therefore he will no longer host on SiriusXM since our programming agreement is with Breitbart News.”

Bannon took over at Breitbart after founder Andrew Breitbart passed away suddenly in 2012. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Bannon has worked as an investment banker and dabbled in the film industry. But he really rose to public prominence when Trump named him CEO of his campaign in the summer of 2016. From there, he followed Trump to the White House, serving as chief strategist for much of 2017 before being ousted and returning to Breitbart.

But Bannon drew the ire of the White House last week when The Guardian revealed that author Michael Wolff quoted him in his book “Fire and Fury” as saying a Trump Tower meeting involving Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and a Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign was “unpatriotic” and perhaps “treasonous.”

At this point it is hard to tell what exactly to make of this startling news. On one hand, it did seem that Bannon had turned his back on the Trump agenda, especially when you consider the quotes he gave to a so-called journalist whose only goal was to write a book that would hurt the president.

With that being said, Bannon was and is an American patriot who helped bring the anti-globalist wave to the mainstream.

‘This Is FAKE NEWS’: CNN Runs Globalist Sponsored Propaganda Piece That Claims That The Deep State Is NOT Real, No Conspiracy Against Trump

Over the last two years elements of the deep state, along with their mainstream media allies, have waged a seemingly endless war on all things Donald Trump that, at this point, simply cannot be denied.

From claiming that he had no chance of winning, to lying about his beliefs, all the way to the sham Russia investigation, it has become transparently clear that ingrained elements within the federal government, including the intelligence community, have worked against Trump from the beginning and actually increased their attacks after his stunning election victory.

At each step, liberal news outlet CNN has been at the forefront of this unprecedented attempt to take out the democratically elected president and long ago confirmed the belief already held by many that they were specifically out to get Donald Trump and his tens of millions of supporters.

Now, in what can only be described as one of the most blatant propaganda pieces of all time, two CNN “reporters” have outed themselves as nothing more than deep state establishment puppets after publishing a “news” report that not only claims that the deep state isn’t real but also laughably implies that there has been no conspiracy to hurt President Trump whatsoever.

That’s right, according to CNN, high-level FBI officials didn’t let Hillary Clinton off the hook. High-level FBI agents weren’t openly supporting Clinton while at the same time setting up an “insurance policy” in the event that Donald Trump won the election. James Comey and Robert Mueller aren’t personal friends and the Clinton campaign never paid for RUSSIAN SOURCES to provide disinformation on Trump.

The CNN propaganda piece reads:

President Donald Trump on Tuesday escalated an extraordinary confrontation with his own Justice Department, suggesting it was part of a shady government “deep state” conspiracy against him.

The explosive charge follows Trump’s repeated attacks on the FBI and agents working with special counsel Robert Mueller on the investigation into whether there was collusion between members of his presidential campaign and a Russian election meddling operation in 2016.

His assault, delivered via a tweet, suggested that Trump is again chafing against conventions that presidents normally observe to maintain the independence of judicial authorities and to avoid the perception of political interference in the Justice Department and the FBI.

Tuesday’s outburst by the President also sheds new light into his apparent belief in, or willingness to perpetrate, the idea for political reasons that there is a “deep state” — a secret cabal of government and intelligence officials conspiring against him and his presidency.

As I’ve been apt to say lately, you truly can’t make this stuff up folks! Keep in mind that it is a confirmed reality that the deep state is real, a fact known LONG BEFORE Trump ever got into office or was a victim of an attack by their puppets.

Not happy to spread obvious disinformation in just one piece, CNN also published another piece of transparent garbage, this time by their publicly anti-Trump Editor Chris Cillizza in which he also laughably implies that the deep state simply cannot be real.

“Deep State Justice Dept must finally act,” Trump tweets, suggesting that Abedin belongs in jail and former FBI Director James Comey and “others” might too.

The idea of the “deep state” has long been central to the beliefs of people like Breitbart executive Steve Bannon and others in the conservative media.

Its basic tenet is that there is a sort of extra-judicial government being run in the shadows of the public-facing government — a so-called “deep state” that has as its prime objective to maintain the status quo. The “deep state” isn’t really partisan, it’s more an agreement by the establishment to keep its hold on power for as long as humanly possible.

CNN’s editor then goes on to list Trump’s supposed crimes in which he literally lays out exactly what we KNOW to be happening in reality and then claims that only your crazy uncle at Thanksgiving would believe it.

Make no mistake, this is purposeful propaganda at its finest and is designed to LIE directly to the American people while covering up for those that truly run the world.

Consider what’s being alleged here: That the Justice Department is refusing to prosecute criminals — including the former director of the FBI! — because the deep state is protecting those people.

That sounds a little off, right? Like, if your uncle spent 15 minutes at Christmas dinner bending your ear with that exact theory, you would ask your mom afterward: “What is the deal with Uncle Harold?”

Now, consider the source: This is the President of the United States we are talking about. The most powerful person in the country — and maybe the world. The person who chose the man — Jeff Sessions — who runs the Justice Department.

Let’s be clear about all of this: The President of the United States is saying that the former FBI director, who he fired and who could, as we speak, potentially be playing a central role in the special counsel investigation into Russia’s attempted interference in the 2016 presidential election, is being protected by a secret quasi-government that really controls things.

Cillizza also whines about the fact that the deep state and elements of the FBI are finally being publicly exposed as if this is somehow a bad thing for the American people when in reality it actually only hurts the very people that Cillizza serves.

What’s even more frightening than the assumptions made in those presidential tweets is that plenty of people are changing their views of the FBI due to Trump’s assault on the bureau and its one-time head.

In 2014, Gallup polling showed that 62% of Republicans thought the FBI was doing an “excellent” or “good” job. In new Gallup polling, that number among Republicans has dipped to 49% — even as Republicans’ trust in other government agencies has soared since 2014.

It’s almost impossible to accurately describe how abnormal this sort of behavior is from a president. In the past, presidents went out of their way to build up trust in the agencies and departments of the federal government, believing that strength in institutions — particularly those tasked with law enforcement — was critically important to a functioning and healthy democracy.

Consider this. Elements of the intelligence community, with the help of news outlets like CNN, are actively trying to take out their political opponent in Donald Trump while at the same time attacking him for publicly fighting back.

Backlash As CNN Provides Pro-Iran Regime Coverage Amid Widespread Anti-Government Protests

CNN’s recent coverage of protests in Iran have sparked outrage on social media after the liberal news outlet appeared to report only on pro-regime demonstrations.

After virtually no coverage Friday, CNN put out an article Saturday morning originally titled “Iranians Hold Pro-Government Rallies,” which got the attention of conservatives in both media and Congress.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) also weighed in, evoking the Soviet Communist Party propaganda “newspaper” Pravda in a tweet.

Cruz also gave a statement on Facebook calling for the U.S. to support the Iranian people.

CNN has since updated its article, now entitled “Iran’s Government Warns Against ‘Illegal’ Gatherings After Protests.”

Although CNN is not using the more appropriate and accurate headline “Iranian People Protesting Tyrannical Islamic Regime Across Country,” it’s still a step in the right direction.

To be fair, CNN’s own Jake Tapper has been providing decent coverage of the Iranian protests in Saturday morning tweets and retweets.

Still, it’s not surprising CNN would do such a thing. Lately they’ve been off their game with recent coverage, such as earlier this month when it reported on an email sent to Donald Trump Jr. offering special access to WikiLeaks documents – only for it to be revealed that those documents were already on public record.

Hannity Promises To Expose CNN & NBC News In "EpicFail"

"Tick tock."

In a mysterious tweet yesterday evening to his 3.19 million followers, Fox News" Sean Hannity offered a preview of what is to come from his show next week, warning that he "will expose" CNN and NBC News for what he calls a "#EpicFail."

He followed up last night"s tweet...

We will just have to be patient to discover what he has in store for CNN and NBC, but as The Hill notes, Hannity has focused on what he calls "the destroy Trump fake news media" on most nights during his Fox News prime-time opinion program, particularly during his opening monologues that invariably include clips of CNN and MSNBC hosts and pundits going after the president in hyperbolic fashion.

Like many cable news hosts this week, Hannity is on vacation the week between Christmas and New Year"s Day. He will return to the airwaves on Jan. 2.

The past year has been a good one for the 55-year-old staunch conservative, with his candidate of choice in Trump taking office, his move from 10 p.m. to the more-watched time slot of 9 p.m. and his finish on top of the cable news ratings race following the move, averaging 3.2 million viewers.

President Trump: "I"m Not" Considering Firing Robert Mueller, But It"s "Not Looking Good"

After a week of rumors, denials, whistleblowers, backlash, demands, threats, lies, bias, and anti-bias surrounding Robert Mueller and his investigation, President Trump said Sunday that he is not considering firing the Special Counsel.

"No, I’m not,” Trump told reporters, when asked if he intended to fire Mueller, according to Politico.

The president was returning to the White House from a weekend at the Camp David presidential retreat.

Trump"s allies complained this weekend about the way Mueller"s team went about obtaining from the presidential transition. Mueller"s spokesman Peter Carr said Sunday that the office had followed appropriate steps to obtain the transition emails. Pro-Trump lawmakers and pundits also have accused the special counsel"s office of bias after it was revealed that two FBI officials who previously served on Mueller"s team had exchanged anti-Trump text messages.

And while Trump said "I"m not," Axios notes that he did criticize the fact that Mueller accessed "many tens of thousands" of emails from the presidential transition, saying it was "not looking good."

Additionally, as The Hill reports, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Sunday said he has no reason to believe President Trump intends to fire special counsel Robert Mueller amid the ongoing investigation into Russia"s election interference.

"I don"t have any reason to think that the president is going to do that, but that"s obviously up to him," Mnuchin told host Jake Tapper on CNN"s "State of the Union," adding that the topic did not arise when he dined with Trump and Vice President Pence on Saturday night.

The finance chief argued, however, that the ongoing probe is "a giant distraction" that needs to wrap up "quickly." 

Going by Trump"s previous comments, we would not be surprised in the least if news breaks tomorrow of Mueller"s firing.

The Media"s Reign Of Error Exposed

Covering the Trump presidency has not always been the media’s finest hour, but even grading on that curve, the month of December has brought astonishing screwups.

Professor and venerable political observer Walter Russell Mead tweeted on December 8, “I remember Watergate pretty well, and I don’t remember anything like this level of journalistic carelessness back then. The constant stream of ‘bombshells’ that turn into duds is doing much more to damage the media than anything Trump could manage.”

On December 1, ABC News correspondent Brian Ross went on air and made a remarkable claim. For months, the media have been furiously trying to prove collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. Ross reported that former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who had just pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, was prepared to testify that President Trump had instructed him to contact Russian officials before the 2016 election, while Trump was still a candidate. If true, it would have been a gamechanger. But Ross’s claim was inaccurate. Flynn’s documented attempts to contact the Russians came after Trump was president-elect, allegedly trying to lay diplomatic groundwork for the new administration. Ross was suspended by ABC for four weeks without pay for the error.

 

Later that same weekend, the New York Times ran a story about Trump transition official K. T. McFarland, charging that she had lied to congressional investigators about knowledge of the Trump transition team’s contacts with Russia. The article went through four headline changes and extensive edits after it was first published, substantially softening and backing away from claims made in the original version. The first headline made a definitive claim: “McFarland Contradicted Herself on Russia Contacts, Congressional Testimony Shows.” The headline now reads “Former Aide’s Testimony on Russia Is Questioned.” The website Newsdiffs, which tracks edits of articles after publication, shows nearly the entire body of the article was rewritten. (The Times website makes no mention of the changes.)

 

Still in that first weekend of December, Senator Orrin Hatch criticized the excesses of federal welfare programs, saying, “I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves.” The quote was taken wildly out of context. MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough as well as journalists from Mic, Newsweek, and the Los Angeles Times reported that Hatch was directly criticizing the Children’s Health Insurance Program, with some suggesting Hatch thought children should be put to work to pay for subsidized health care. Not only was Hatch not criticizing the CHIP program, he cowrote the recent bill to extend its funding.

 

On December 5, Reuters and Bloomberg reported that special counsel Robert Mueller had subpoenaed Deutsche Bank account records of President Trump and family members, possibly related to business done in Russia. The report was later corrected to say Mueller was subpoenaing “people or entities close to Mr. Trump.”

 

Then on December 8, another Russia bombshell turned into a dud. CNN’s Manu Raju and Jeremy Herb reported Donald Trump Jr. had been sent an email on September 4, 2016, with a decryption key to a WikiLeaks trove of hacked emails from Clinton confidant and Democratic operative John Podesta—that is, before the hacked emails were made public. (WikiLeaks is widely surmised to act as a front for Russian intelligence.) MSNBC and CBS quickly claimed to have confirmed CNN’s scoop. Within hours, though, CNN’s report was discredited. The email was sent on September 14, after the hacked Podesta emails had been made publicly available. CNN later admitted it never saw the email it was reporting the contents of.

This is just eight days’ worth of blundering.

Since October of last year, when Franklin Foer at Slate filed an erroneous report on a computer server in Trump Tower communicating with a Russian bank, there have been an unprecedented number of media faceplants, most of them directly related to the Russia-collusion theory.

The errors always run in the same direction—they report or imply that the Trump campaign was in league with Moscow.

For a politicized and overwhelmingly liberal press corps, the wish that this story be true is obviously the father to the errors. Just as obviously, there are precedents for such high-profile embarrassments in the past. (Remember Dan Rather’s “scoop” on George W. Bush’s National Guard service?) But flawed reporting in the Trump era is becoming more the norm than the exception, suggesting the media have become far too willing to abandon some pretty basic journalistic standards.

Editors at top news organizations once treated anonymous sourcing as a necessary evil, a tool to be used sparingly. Now anonymous sources dominate Trump coverage.

It’s not just a problem for readers, who should rightly be skeptical of information someone isn’t willing to vouch for by name. It’s a problem for reporters, too, because anonymous sources are less likely to be cautious and diligent in providing information. According to CNN, the sources behind the busted report on Trump Jr.’s contact with WikiLeaks didn’t intend to deceive and had been reliable in the past. Maybe so, but given the network’s repeated errors it’s difficult to just take CNN’s word for it.

But it’s one thing to use anonymous sources; it’s quite another to be entirely trusting of them. CNN decided to report the contents of an email to Donald Trump Jr. based only on the say-so of two anonymous sources and without seeing the emails. “I remember when I was [a staffer] on the Ways and Means committee and I would try and give reporters stories, and I remember the Wall Street Journal demanded to see a document,” former Bush administration press secretary Ari Fleischer tells The Weekly Standard. “They wouldn’t take it from me if I didn’t give them the document, and I thought, ‘Good for them!’ ”

What makes the botched story of the WikiLeaks email more troubling is how quickly MSNBC and CBS ran with CNN’s scoop. “It’s hard to imagine how independent people could repeatedly misread a date on an email and do so for three different networks,” says Fleischer. “Whose eyesight is that bad?”

This points to an additional problem with the sourcing on these unfounded reports. The only way three networks could claim to have verified the same specious story is if they were all relying on the very same sources. Many of the flawed Trump reports appear to be sourced from a very narrow circle of people, who no doubt share partisan motivations or personal animus.

Certainly, it appears a number of recent spurious stories have originated as leaks from Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee. In Raju and Herb’s report, they revealed that Trump Jr. had been asked about the WikiLeaks email in closed-door testimony before the committee. After CNN’s scoop imploded, a spokesman for Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the committee, issued a classic non-denial denial, telling Politico “that neither he nor his staff leaked any ‘non-public information’ ” about Donald Trump Jr.’s testimony.

Meanwhile, the Russia investigation has been very good for raising Schiff’s profile. A December 13 press release from the Republican National Committee notes the congressman has at that point spent 20 hours, 44 minutes, and 49 seconds on television since Trump took office, talking mostly about the investigation (pity the low-level staffer who must have had to do the research for that release). During that time, Schiff has always declined to discuss the particulars of the intel committee’s work. Nonetheless, consideration of his sensitive position hasn’t stopped him from offering all manner of innuendo to national TV audiences about evidence suggesting Russia collusion.

For their part, the media don’t seem to be coming to grips with the damage they’re doing to their own credibility. CNN, which calls itself “the most trusted name in news,” didn’t retract their WikiLeaks report but rewrote it in such a way as to render the story meaningless. They also came to the defense of Raju and Herb, saying the reporters acted in accordance with the network’s editorial policies. And of course they didn’t out their sources—the ultimate punishment news organizations can mete out to anonymous tipsters who steer them wrong.

It understandably infuriates the media that President Trump remains unwilling to own up to his own glaring errors and untruths, while news organizations run correction after correction. And it also understandably upsets the media to watch the president actively attack and seek to undermine their work, which remains vital to ensuring accountability in American governance.

What they haven’t grasped is how perversely helpful to him they are being: On a very basic level, President Trump’s repeated salvos against “fake news” have resonance because, well, there does indeed appear to be a lot of fake news.

“There is nothing wrong with holding powerful people accountable. There’s nothing wrong with investigating whether or not collusion took place. But there’s a lot wrong when because you want to believe in the story so much you suspend skepticism,” says Fleischer.

 

“You let your guard down. You abandon the normal filters that protect journalistic integrity. And you fail to also hold to account powerful leakers, or powerful members of Congress who themselves have an anti-Trump agenda. It’s called putting your thumb on the scale.”
