David Hogg Reddit Post Celebrates Mosquitoes Killing “Billions” of Humans

This report was originally published by Paul Joseph Watson at Infowars.com

In a 2017 Reddit post, ‘March For Our Lives’ gun control activist David Hogg celebrates the fact that mosquitoes kill “billions” of people as being “great for the environment”.

Another user on the site asked the question, “What is a positive reason for mosquitoes to exist?” to which Hogg responded, “They kill humans, billions of them, which is great for the environment.” The post was made eight months ago.

Although the entry was posted under the pseudonym ‘davisgreen111’, the account almost certainly belongs to Hogg. The poster refers to himself as “David Hogg” in one post and another post links to a video from Hogg’s personal YouTube channel. Another post confirms that he lives in Parkland, Florida.

Another post also links to a story about Hogg’s father, former FBI agent Kevin Hogg. In another post, ‘davisgreen111’ makes reference to his dad being an FBI agent.

According to the World Health Organization, mosquito bites result in the deaths of more than one million people every year. There are 300-500 million cases of malaria every year and a child dies from malaria every 30 seconds.

The Reddit post conflicts with Hogg’s public image as somebody who cares about saving lives. Some would also construe the remark as racist given that mosquito-related deaths disproportionately affect non-white people living in poor third world countries.

In other posts, Hogg repeatedly discusses his inability to get a girlfriend and in one instance refers to girls as bitches.

Infowars reached out to Hogg for a comment but has yet to receive a response.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham lost numerous sponsors and could potentially be forced to resign over a tweet in which she said Hogg was being whiny over getting rejected by colleges.

Will David Hogg face any consequences for celebrating the deaths of over a million people a year or will the mainstream media completely ignore this story?

SEC Associate Director And Wife Of Fired Anti-Trump FBI Agent Appears To Scrub Facebook Page Of Obama-Clinton Likes

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

The cheated-on wife of FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was booted off Robert Mueller"s Special Counsel for sending his mistress anti-Trump text messages, appears to have scrubbed her Facebook page of pro-Hillary and pro-Obama "likes" after her husband"s embarassing dismissal and relegation to the HR department.

Reddit userBREXITGOD notes that Strzok"s wife, Melissa Hodgman, was promoted to Associate Director in the SEC"s enforcement division by the Obama administration on October 14, 2016 - 14 days before the second Hillary Clinton email investigation. Of note, the FBI knew about the emails for "weeks" before launching the second investigation which Peter Strzok oversaw.

Daily Caller reporter Chuck Ross pointed out Strzok"s wife"s apparent support for liberal causes on Sunday:

A Facebook account that appears to be operated by Melissa Hodgman, a top lawyer at the Securities and Exchange Commission who married Strzok in 1994, shows membership in several pro-Clinton and pro-Obama Facebook groups.

“Democrats for a Blue America” and “Thank You Obama” are two of the groups Hodgman supports. She is also a follower of a page called “We Voted for Hillary.”

Hodgman did not respond to emails from The Daily Caller seeking comment about her involvement with the groups.

And yesterday, Reddit user BREXITGOD discovered that Hodgman has scrubbed her Facebook "likes" of any and all references to Obama, Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Huffington Post and "Democrats for a Blue America."

After

When reached for comment as to how he determined that the Facebook account in question belongs to Hodgman, user BREXITGOD provided publicly available evidence to make the connection.

Germany’s Social Media Hate Speech Law is Now in Effect

Germany’s Social Media Hate Speech Law is Now in Effect | hate-speech-facebook | Civil Rights Free Speech Government Control Internet Censorship Losing Rights Science & Technology World News

(TechCrunch) A new law has come into force in Germany aimed at regulating social media platforms to ensure they remove hate speech within set periods of receiving complaints — within 24 hours in straightforward cases or within seven days where evaluation of content is more difficult.

The name of the law translates to ‘Enforcement on Social Networks’. It’s also referred to as NetzDG, an abbreviation of its full German name.

Fines of up to €50 million can be applied under the law if social media platforms fail to comply, though as Spiegal Online reports there is a transition period for companies to gear up for compliance — which will end on January 1, 2018. However the Ministry in charge has started inspections this month.

Social platform giants such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter were couched as the initial targets for the law, but Spiegal Online suggests the government is looking to apply the law more widely — including to content on networks such as Reddit, Tumblr, Flickr, Vimeo, VK and Gab.

The usage bar for complying with the takedown timeframes is being set at a service having more than two million registered users in Germany.

While Spiegal Online reports that the German government is intending to have 50 people assigned to the task of implementing and policing the law.

It also says all social media platforms, regardless of size, must provide a contact person in Germany for user complaints or requests for information from investigators. Recent queries will need to be answered within 48 hours or risk penalties, it adds.

One obvious question here is how any fines could be applied across international borders if a social media firm has no bricks-and-mortar presence in Germany, though.

Will Horrendous CNN Ratings, Advertiser Boycotts, And 4Chan's Memetic War Destroy Billions In Time Warner Value?

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

  • AT&T announced plans in October to purchase CNN parent company Time Warner for $85.4 billion, or $107.50 / share (currently $101.50 near 15 year highs).

  • According to Reuters, CNN is valued at roughly $10 billion - around 12% of the deal.

  • Since the deal was announced, however, CNN"s brand - and therefore it"s value to AT&T, has been significantly damaged.

  • In addition to recently firing three employees for publishing Fake News, ratings have been tanking, an undercover sting exposed CNN"s extreme bias, and the network blackmailed a Reddit user for which they"re now under intense memetic warfare.

  • Outraged citizens have begun to boycott CNN advertisers.

  • White House sources tell the Daily Caller that the AT&T / Time Warner deal, which requires White House approval, may be in jeopardy if CNN doesn"t fire CEO Jeff Zucker.

CNN is in the middle of a "Full Spectrum Dominance Attack" after three weeks of utter devastation to their brand - which has not been reflected in the share price of parent company Time Warner ($TWX). A week after firing three employees for peddling demonstrably false anti-Trump propaganda, CNN was exposed as a network of hate-filled shills in an undercover sting by James O"Keefe of Project Veritas. Then, the "Very Fake News" network went on a witch hunt to track down the identity of Reddit user "HanAssholeSolo" who they claimed was responsible for creating a video of Trump beating up a man with a CNN logo for a head, which the President tweeted on Saturday.

The result has been the collapse of CNN"s reputation while AT&T"s acquisition of parent company Time Warner hangs in the balance.

Ed Dowd, Former manager of BlackRock’s $15 billion Capital Appreciation Strategies points out the dollars and sense of CNN"s impact on the deal:

And after the last two weeks, it"s hard to imagine that AT&T hasn"t already begun to renegotiate with Time Warner - considering the fact that one of the flagship assets included in the deal is currently self-immolating.

A January Reuters article which described CNN"s pivotal role in the AT&T / Time Warner deal, placing the network"s value at around $10 billion - or just under 12% of the deal. This was written at a time when CNN was enjoying record ratings fresh off the election - despite Trump famously calling the network "Fake News" the day before.

Since then, it"s been all downhill for the "Very Fake News" network while CNN"s parent company, Time Warner, has risen to record highs.

TWX is clearly not reflecting the damage done to CNN - especially if the network violated the law when they threatened to reveal the identity of the Reddit user who posted the WWF Trump video.

CNN"s YouTube stats are cliff diving

While CNN.com traffic appears to be steady - which can be bought - their YouTube channel has suffered a significant hit to both views and subscribers, down 15.8% and 28.9% respectively according to socialblade.com. While the network is certainly taking a financial hit from this, the real significance lies in the obvious damage to the brand. People have stopped taking CNN seriously.

Memetic Warfare

In response to CNN"s threat to expose a Reddit user"s identity, online researchers from 4chan who refer to themselves "weaponized autists" have declared war on the network. In a post made on the 4th of July, an "anon" (anonymous user) called fellow anons to arms" to create their best memes.

"Tonight, the enemy launched a surprise attack. Freedom of speech is under attack by the most powerful media outlet in the world. They"re threatening to dox and thus ruin the life of (and possibly get him harmed by leftists) a completely random person, purely because of the memes he posted. Unacceptable.

The war is back on. GamerGate was the tutorial, our war against the media reignites now. Do not allow this assault on our forces - even if he cucked out and said sorry - to go without a response."

4chan is an unstoppable force, by the way

The "autists" at 4chan - perhaps the most formidable crowd-sourced research, entertainment, and redpill dispensary on the planet should not be underestimated, and new visitors to the site are advised not to post unless they"ve lurked for a significant period of time - or ever.

4chan users" Rain Man abilities to quickly connect dots, form theories, discard dead ends, and spread their findings like wildfire through social media giants Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook have led to such happenings as the time they called in an airstrike on ISIS, the "breaking" of beta-cuck Shia LaBeouf, and even got a bunch of Justin Beiber fans to shave their heads.

Not to be forgotten - while Reddit"s the_donald is the most popular pro-Trump forum in the world, 4chan was undoubtedly the dominant force doing deep digs to analyze the Wikileaked emails during the election - uncovering "Pay for Play" by Clinton Foundation donors who funded ISIS, DNC cheating against Bernie Sanders, MSM collusion, Hillary"s dreams of open borders, "unaware and compliant" citizens, and other significant finds.

InfoWars is holding a $20,000 contest for the best CNN Meme...

Boycotts

Adding to Time Warner"s woes is a "grassroots" boycott of CNN"s sponsors following the network"s threat to dox an individual. Lists of sponsors are now flooding both Reddit and 4chan - such as this one posted by Reddit user "jammich."

Let"s let CNN"s advertisers know how we feel. I"ve found a list of their advertisers and updated it to include links to contact them. I"ve done my best to find as direct a link as possible to save you from rooting around their site. -jammich

(list below)

THE PERFECT STORM...

In a nutshell: There"s no way CNN"s recent unlubricated buggering hasn"t negatively impacted parent company Time Warner"s valuation. Ownership of Time Warner stock is 80.99% institutional - meaning it"s largely held in mutual funds, pensions and 401(k) plans, with Vanguard and Blackrock being the top two holders of $TWX.

If I were AT&T, the only thing on my mind would be a renegotiation for Time Warner without CNN - or at minimum a battle plan to completely gut the Very Fake News network - from Jeff Zucker to Wolf Blitzer to Anderson Cooper. Don Lemon can stick around for comic relief.

Did CNN's Chris Cuomo Break The Law When He Sent This Now-Deleted Tweet?

Earlier this morning CNN host Chris Cuomo tweeted out, then promptly deleted, a message asking whether he should reveal the name of the Reddit user who made the now infamous Trump-CNN wrestling video.  He went on to imply that the whole purpose of outing the video"s creator would be to humiliate him for other posts he shared anonymously on a Reddit thread.

"Should CNN reveal name of Reddit user who made trump wrestling video? Had a lot of bigoted and hateful material on page and website."

Cuomo"s tweet seemed to mimic a similar threat made by CNN"s Andrew Kaczynski that was released earlier this morning (which we covered here).

CNN

Unfortunately for Cuomo, Kaczynski and all of CNN for that matter, it seems they probably should have brushed up on their knowledge of extortion laws before making their thinly-veiled threats.  As Ted Cruz subsequently pointed out, Georgia law (the home of CNN"s headquarters) strictly defines "theft by exortion" to include "dissemination of any information tending to subject any person to hatred, contempt, or ridicule or to impair his credit or business repute."

Of course, Cuomo produces his show in New York so those backward Georgia laws don"t apply to him.  That said, Julian Assange conveniently points out that New York also has it"s own rather unfavorable views of things like "coercion" and "extortion."

Of course, this isn"t the first time Cuomo has openly displayed his ignorance of the law.  As you may recall, he warned CNN viewers back in October that it was "illegal" for ordinary citizens to take a look at John Podesta"s emails as posted on WikiLeaks...

"Remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents. It’s different for the media. So everything you learn about this you are learning from us."

All of which makes Project Veritas" latest CNN video, which features a producer saying that he "just can"t stand" Cuomo, all that much more entertaining.

"...[I] just can"t stand that guy [Cuomo] when he talks, we"re like shut up."

Assange Just Exposed CNN Breaking the Law by Threatening Redditor Who Made Fun of Them

cnn

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is now calling out CNN for breaking the law, after the mainstream media network bragged about coercing a Reddit user into silence by threatening to use the public revelation of his identity against him.

It all started on Sunday when Trump Tweeted a short WWE video of him body-slamming a man to the ground. However, in this version, the man’s face was covered by a “CNN” logo, and the Tweet was accompanied by the caption “#FraudNewsCNN.”

Instead of focusing on the fact that Trump’s video was arguably posted as a distraction to take attention away from the United States bombing Somalia, or escalating tensions with China, CNN went on a witch hunt to find the source of the WWE video.

Advertisment

In an urgent report titled, “How CNN found the Reddit user behind the Trump wrestling GIF,” the MSM outlet went into detail about how its employees scoured the internet, and then successfully “identified the man behind the account and attempted to make contact with him.”

“Reddit user “HanA**holeSolo” first shared the GIF last Wednesday of Trump pummeling a wrestler with CNN’s logo imposed on his face. CNN could find no earlier instance of the GIF. The GIF was later edited into a video with sound and tweeted by the President on Sunday. On Reddit, “HanA**holeSolo” took credit for inspiring the tweet. Soon after, “HanA**holeSolo’s” other posts on Reddit, some of which included racist and anti-Semitic imagery, quickly circulated on social media.”

CNN then bragged about its ability to find the Reddit user, and to convince him to submit, noting that he expressed remorse, both on Reddit and “in an interview with CNN for other posts he made that were racist and anti-Semitic.”

In order to track down the man referred to as “HanAssholeSolo,” CNN claimed it followed “identifying information” that the user posted on Reddit, in order to “determine key biographical details, to find the man’s name using a Facebook search and ultimately corroborate details he had made available on Reddit.

However, CNN then went too far by claiming that while it does not plan to release the true identity of “HanA**holeSolo” right now, it “reserves the right to publish his identity” if he does not continue to show the level of remorse that the outlet has deemed acceptable, in order to keep his name private.

In the interview, “HanA**holeSolo” sounded nervous about his identity being revealed and asked to not be named out of fear for his personal safety and for the public embarrassment it would bring to him and his family. CNN is not publishing “HanA**holeSolo’s” name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same. CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.”

Assange then chimed in on Twitter, and pointed out that CNN’s actions are in direct violation of § 135.60 of the New York criminal code, which dictates the standards for “coercion in the second degree.”

The law states that a person is guilty of coercion in the second degree if he or she threatens to “cause physical injury to a person,” “expose a secret or publicize an asserted fact, whether true or false, tending to subject some person to hatred, contempt or ridicule,” or “perform any other act which would not in itself materially benefit the actor but which is calculated to harm another person materially with respect to his or her health, safety, business, calling, career, financial condition, reputation or personal relationships.”

Assange then went on to note that CNN’s actions are bigger than just the jurisdiction in the state of New York, and are also arguably a violation of federal law, which could be considered a felony conspiracy against civil rights under 18 U.S. Code § 241.

READ MORE:  CNBC Tags Kim Jong-Un Parody Facebook Page, Thinking It"s Really Him, EPIC Trolling Ensues

The law states that if two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same … they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned.”

It is no secret that Trump appears to have a direct disdain for CNN, above all other mainstream media outlets—despite the fact that all funding is the same—but the most obvious red flag from the encounter comes from CNN’s response.

If the network truly wanted to expose the Trump Administration, and to “get back” at Trump for all of the times he has referred to CNN as “fake news,” it would do so by giving the public honest coverage of the administration’s unconstitutional acts and inflammatory foreign policy decisions. However, because the network chooses to focus on going after the Reddit user who inspired Trump’s latest scandalous Tweet, it serves as a reminder that in order to expose the Trump administration, CNN would also have to expose the mainstream media’s role in distracting the American public, and enabling the current political climate.

Seth Rich’s original Reddit posts altered, 663 comments deleted

It"s obvious a massive cover up of Seth Rich"s murder is underway

(INTELLIHUB) — Deep State operatives are in full cover up mode when it comes to the murder of Seth Rich and they will stop at nothing as evidence mounts.

Remarkably it has been discovered by members of the online community that posts Seth Rich made on Reddit before his death have been altered and 663 comments from the thread have been deleted.

Last Saturday, Twitter user FlickMontana tweeted: “@caitoz Seth Rich’s email was in a comment on his Reddit account, but it was edited out an hour ago.”

The tweet caused a chain reaction with online investigators who discovered more anomalies in the thread.

The account was proven to be Rich’s after a user archived Rich’s actual email which is associated with the Reddit account that was edited.

Screencapture via Medium.com

As it turns out 663 comments were deleted and a number of areas in the thread were edited to better fit the false narrative already posted to Wikipedia.

Caitlin Johnstone reported:

Note that there is no asterisk next to the post in the archived version, which means that as of the date that the archive was made (yesterday), it had not been tampered with. This proves that the editing was recent, which proves, obviously, that it was not edited by Rich. If you go to page six in the “comments” section of Rich’s Reddit account now, you will see this version of the post instead:

rich redditScreencapture via Medium.com

“Note the asterisk next to the words “1 year ago”, which means the post has been edited,” Johnstone explains.

Moreover, Rich’s most recent post was deleted.

“This one is even more suspicious, because while the actual comment made appears unremarkable, the fact that it is posted in the subreddit r/washingtondc makes it clear that the account belongs to someone in DC, which could tip off future online investigators that they might be looking at Rich’s account even after the email information was deleted. I hope we get an explanation about this from Reddit admin as well,” Johnstone writes.

Mapping America's Friends, Foes, & Frenemies

Subject to change...

Map created by reddit user ShilohShay

Via BrilliantMaps.com,

The map above shows which countries Americans consider their allies and friends and those they consider unfriendly or even their enemy.

The data is based off a YouGov poll conducted between January 28 – February 1, 2017, which asked 7,150 adults living in the United States the question:

“Do you consider the countries listed below to be a friend or an enemy of the United States?”

Reddit user ShilohShay explains that:

For the purpose of extrapolating more interesting data from the poll, I only added a country to “Don’t Know” in this map if 50% or more of Americans picked that option. Otherwise I went with the plurality opinion.

Top 10 US Allies were:

  1. Canada

  2. Australia

  3. UK

  4. France

  5. Italy

  6. Ireland

  7. Israel

  8. Norway

  9. Sweden

  10. Germany

Top 10 US Enemies were:

  1. North Korea

  2. Iran

  3. Syria

  4. Iraq

  5. Afghanistan

  6. Russia

  7. Libya

  8. Somalia

  9. Pakistan

  10. Palestine

While many of the enemies are the ones you’d expect, only 11% of Americans consider China their enemy and just 9% consider Cuba their enemy.

Reddit Caught Censoring Posts Using The Term “Rothschild”

It"s the latest chapter of the long, documented saga of Reddit censorship against various forms of political speech over the past several years. In a humorous development, Reddit"s admin team has been caught censoring posts using the term "Rothschild."

Users on pro-Trump subreddit r/the_donald began noticing the censorship several days ago after a humorous tweet from Lynn de Rothschild on February 21st, 2017 lampooned John Podesta for his work managing Hillary Clinton"s 2016 presidential election campaign. A test conducted by Disobedient Media on February 23rd has confirmed that Reddit is indeed censoring content referencing the name of the famous banking family.

A sample post referencing the term was immediately archived after submission. Despite being posted "just now" or under one minute prior, the archive revealed that a filter on Reddit had removed the text of the post and hidden it from the "new" section of r/the_donald. The original post and the text can be seen here:

When the account which made the post is logged in, the original text still appears in the body as if the post was not censored. This means that a user might not immediately notice that their posting had been removed.

It is not known at this time why Reddit is censoring posts referencing the Rothschild family name.

Editor"s Note: Other posts around Reddit appear to not be censored, indicating that the script removing post information mentioning the term "Rothschild" may be targeting r/the_donald exclusively. Reddit"s admin team and CEO Steve Huffman have singled the pro-Trump subreddit out exclusively for censorship in the past.

Disney / Google / WSJ Attack On PewDiePie Backfiring Spectacularly - Generation Z Now Woke

PewDiePie is a Swedish web-comedian and performance artist - with over 53 Million subscribers who know he isn"t a racist. He"s got the largest online audience in history, comprised mostly of post-millennial "Generation Z" - and his also-popular girlfriend Marzia has 7 million subscribers. PewDiePie has made tens of millions of dollars from his channel, yet he"s remained humble and real throughout his ascent to internet greatness. The problem? He came out as a Trump supporter during the election, and the MSM has been gunning for him ever since.

I"m sure you"re aware of what happened over the last week; PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, made a few anti-Semitic jokes meant to trigger sensitive SJW"s, and immediately had his ass handed to him by Disney and Google after the soon to be failing Wall St. Journal made a national issue out of the 27 year old"s antics. The WSJ also cobbled together a hit-piece video accompanying their report, which spliced together out of context footage of PewDiePie doing Nazi stuff. It"s been dismantled.

Kids love the guy. They know PewDiePie. So the fact that corporate media thought they could simply gang up and wave a magic wand branding Kjellberg a Nazi was ham-handed and presumptuous. As if WSJ, Disney, Google, Salon, Slate, and the rest of the queued up MSM hit-squad could convince kids and their parents that a guy who"s been speaking directly to them, unfiltered and genuine - is Hitler reincarnate.

Heil Hitlarious.

In the world of influence, PewDiePie has a lot of power. He"s also woke - meaning, he doesn"t buy the SJW / bleeding-heart narratives which have driven much of America"s easily offended sensitive youth to retarded hysterics. PewDiePie is quite frankly un-poisoning the minds of hyper-sensitive kids raised on kneejerk identity politics; the untriggering of America if you will. PewDiePie was a threat to the MSM.

I don"t remember the WSJ writing about Family Guy"s Jew jokes, or Howard Stern"s Hitler bits, or Louis CK"s Holocaust jokes. I wonder why?

Why the selective outrage WSJ?

The response to the MSM throwing PewDiePie under the bus has been glorious:

First: PewDiePie has issued a response (see here), which - in mere hours, has 99.9% thumbs up with over 800,000 users voting as of this writing - far exceeding it"s view count. Clearly people don"t even need to watch it to know he"s not an anti-Semite.

Next: Reddit"s largest anti-Trump forum /r/news, is on PewDiePie"s side. This is huge divide-dealing, generation-redpilling stuff. Click here and just scroll down to see what this exceedingly liberal audience has to say about it, then go back to /r/the_donald where free speech is still relatively safe.

And the rest of the internet is on fire in response to the WSJ/Disney/Google"s shit:

Hashtag #PewDiePieDidNothingWrong is trending.

Someone started a Change.org petition to reinstate his show.

Good job Disney / WSJ / Google - you played yourselves by pouring lighter fluid on a raging fire of truth.

How to Beat the Mainstream Media and Join the Alternative Media Revolution

The mainstream corporate media is visibly dying out in the United States and around the world — and their problems are about to get worse: Anti-Media just rolled out its new project, “The Homepage of Independent Media.”

Anti-Media’s new homepage is the new destination for independent thinkers looking for real anti-establishment news sources free of corporate bias and the fake news of the mainstream media. “The Homepage of Independent Media” has partnered with The Free Thought Project and dozens of other hard hitting news and information sites from across the political spectrum to create a “one-stop-shop” for news junkies to find the stories, articles, videos and other content they won’t see anywhere else. We no longer have to hope that Facebook’s notoriously biased algorithm decides to show us news from the outlets we already follow.

But wait, it gets better. Anti-Media has not only created a new home for the rapidly growing independent media movement, it has also put you in charge of deciding what’s on the homepage. With Anti-Media’s new Reddit-style algorithmic upvote/downvote system, you tell the site which stories should be on the front page using their social content curation system.

There’s even more. Once you create an account on TheAntiMedia.org using just an email and password, you will be able to submit news stories yourself in the “MY NEWS” section of the Anti-Media homepage. Any news articles, videos, social media posts, or even photos you think are newsworthy can be posted. Anti-Media’s editorial team will quickly check the link’s factual accuracy, make sure it’s less than two days old (or relevant to current news), and then it will be live. With a few upvotes from other Anti-Media readers and friends, the link you submitted could be on the front page of Anti-Media! People who work with independent news outlets but aren’t official Anti-Media partners yet can also submit links in the “MY NEWS” section to get their content on the homepage.

READ MORE:  Instead of Reacting Militarily, Nashville Police Welcomed Protests: No Violence or Looting

The Internet is the Wild West of information and Anti-Media’s “Homepage of Independent Media” is here to help us make sense of it all. By bringing together dozens of independent news outlets from across the political and ideological spectrum, Anti-Media aims to create an ever-improving ecosystem of reliable factual news and information that challenges the status-quo. In the face of encroaching government censorship and algorithmic bias by Internet gatekeepers Facebook and Google, now is the time to join The Free Thought Project and support the independent media movement by making TheAntiMedia.org your news homepage.

CNN Caught Lying Twice In One Day! Nancy Sinatra and Reddit Put The Brakes On #FakeNews

CNN just can"t stop lying! The purveyors of #FakeNews have once again been caught, twice, peddling propaganda on Inauguration day.

First, Nancy Sinatra called them out for a bullshit tweet suggesting she wasn"t happy with Trump"s use of a Frank Sinatra song during the Inauguration:

zrup6u5b7vay

Second, CNN published a bullshit article suggesting a low turnout compared to Obama, except the picture they used for Trump’s Inauguration appears to be from much earlier in the day:

And the full frame of what CNN claims is Trump"s turnout:

Sorry assholes, someone threw this up on Reddit about an hour ago:

Massive Cyberattack Hits America – Will Russia Take Down The Entire Internet If We Go To War?

computer-code

We just learned a very important lesson about how exceedingly vulnerable our Internet truly is. On Friday, three massive waves of cyberattacks took down some of the biggest websites on the entire Internet. Amazon, Twitter, Netflix, Reddit, Etsy, Business Insider, Github, Spotify, the New York Times and the Boston Globe were among the prominent websites affected. Security experts tells us that with each passing month these kinds of attacks are becoming larger and more sophisticated. And most Americans don’t realize this, but nations such as Russia, China and North Korea have been feverishly developing extremely advanced cyberwarfare capabilities. So could a day come when one of our enemies takes down our Internet completely for an extended period of time?

According to CNBC, the primary target of the attacks on Friday was a hosting company known as Dyn, and these attacks came from “tens of millions” of IP addresses simultaneously…

Internet traffic company Dyn on Friday warned of another cyberattack after websites and services across the East Coast were shut down earlier in the day.

Dyn told CNBC Friday afternoon the attacks are “well planned and executed, coming from tens of millions IP addresses at same time.”

“We have begun monitoring and mitigating a DDoS attack against our Dyn Managed (Domain Name System) infrastructure. Our Engineers are continuing to work on mitigating this issue,” Dyn said on its website at 11:52 a.m. ET.

Specifically, the types of attacks that we witnessed on Friday are known as “denial of service” attacks. If you are not familiar with denial of service attacks, the following is a pretty good explanation from Business Insider

It appears to have been caused by a large digital denial of service (DDoS) attack leveled at the servers of the domain name system (DNS) host Dyn. A DDoS attack typically overwhelms a server with data requests in order to prevent normal users from having their own queries answered. The DNS is a large database that, among other things, converts a simple domain name into a more complex IP address from which data can be retrieved. Taking down a DNS server means that a user’s browser can’t use it to resolve which IP address to fetch the files of a web page from.

These attacks were so big that the Department of Homeland Security is looking into them. It is being reported that North Korea has been ruled out as a suspect so far, but nothing has been said about Russia or China.

As I mentioned above, countries such as Russia, China and North Korea have been working very hard to develop extremely advanced cyberwarfare capabilities in recent years. In particular, Russia has been heavily investing in this area since at least 2007

Russia’s intelligence services decided years ago to make cyber warfare a national defense priority, said Dr. David Stupples, director of the Centre for Cyber Security Sciences at City University London. They have become increasingly proficient in cyber operations as a result.

From around 2007, Russia decided that information warfare was key to winning any world conflict, and that it was this area of capability and technology they decided would benefit from vastly increased military investment,” Stupples said. “What made this decision easier was that Russia was also home to the largest numbers of some of the world’s best hackers.”

For almost a decade, the Russians have been preparing to fight a cyberwar with the United States.

And at this point many analysts believe that they are far better equipped to fight a cyberwar then we are.

So it would seem to be incredibly foolish to provoke an enemy into a fight that we could not possibly win. Unfortunately, that is precisely what Barack Obama is doing. According to a stunning report from NBC News, the Obama administration is actually threatening Russia with “an unprecedented cyber covert action”…

The Obama administration is contemplating an unprecedented cyber covert action against Russia in retaliation for alleged Russian interference in the American presidential election, U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Current and former officials with direct knowledge of the situation say the CIA has been asked to deliver options to the White House for a wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation designed to harass and “embarrass” the Kremlin leadership.

The sources did not elaborate on the exact measures the CIA was considering, but said the agency had already begun opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation.

I can’t even begin to describe how foolish this is.

Yes, without a doubt we could do some damage to the Russians. But the Russians believe that when they get hit by an enemy that they should hit back even harder.

Considering how important the Internet has become to the U.S. economy, do we really want to invite the Russians to attack it?

Talk about an event that could crash our economy almost overnight. This year alone “the Internet economy” will account for more than a trillion dollars. Without the Internet, vast numbers of businesses would not be able to function normally, and an extended outage would cause financial markets all over the planet to start crashing.

And many experts believe that it was the Russians that took down the Ukrainian power grid a while back. So do we really want to invite the Russians to attack our power grid?

Anyone out there that believes that our power grid is “secure” is dead wrong. We are exceedingly vulnerable, and the Russians know this.

Could you imagine the chaos that would happen if our power grid suddenly went down in the middle of the winter? An extended outage would potentially be life-threatening for millions of people that live in our coldest areas.

And what about our banks and financial systems? Do we really want to invite the Russians to shut those down?

It really is in our best interest to try to find a way to develop a better relationship with Russia. Unfortunately, we are about to elect a crazy woman as our next president that has a fierce vendetta against the Russians, and Russian politicians are very open about the fact that if Hillary Clinton is elected in November that the odds of World War 3 happening will go up dramatically.

You may wake up one day only to discover that a massive cyberattack has completely changed life in America overnight.

When that happens, you won’t be able to say that you weren’t warned in advance.
