Soros Defeated After Attempting To Rig Hungarian Election And Spending MILLIONS

George Soros has suffered a rather humiliating defeat after pumping millions of dollars into a Hungarian election he attempted to buy. Soros, who was born in Hungary and desperately wanted a hardened fascist to win the election, is now out millions of dollars as Viktor Orbán won with a whopping 70% of the vote.

Viktor Orbán is known as an “anti-globalist” painted with the same broad brush as president Donald Trump. Prime minister Orbán has also successfully cut illegal immigration to Hungary by 99% after building his wall on the border.

With the votes counted, Europe Elects is sharing stats which show Fidesz, the party founded by Prime Minister Orbán while he was a young anti-Communist dissident, has won not merely a decisive majority but an outright super-majority, along with minor allied parties. This will allow changes to the national constitution. Hopefully, those changes will be for more the better of the people, and not the expansion of liberty-trampling governments – something Soros has championed for decades.

The results will be extremely disappointing for top bureaucrats in the European Union and activists working for so-called civil society NGOs funded by billionaire open borders campaigner George Soros, who had been hoping for an upset defeat, or for Fidesz to lose its super-majority, at least. This is certainly a bloody nose to the globalists and elitists who want to control the entire population.

With Orban’s success, Soros is likely reeling from his discomfort that his globalist control over society is slipping, and quickly. Orban has become increasingly popular because of his strong defense policies with regards to his country’s borders. Unlike the open arms of Sweden and Germany that led to disastrous results, Orban successfully all but stopped illegal immigration and the violence that has come with it.

It was a victory guided by a common theme pushed by Orban: “Stop George Soros.” And once again, Orban was successful and Soros is left licking his wounds with his tail tucked between his legs. Nothing is more comforting than seeing billionaire global elitist Soros take a loss.

Donald J. Trump, Omnibus, and the WALL

By Jacque Guinan   3-28-18

Has Donald J Trump “Betrayed his Base” with the signing of the Omnibus Spending Bill?

The answer to that question depends on who you listen to. If you listen to Ann Coulter, Rand Paul and many of the freedom caucus members; the apocalypse has struck and we better find a new candidate to run for 2020; because POTUS has just funded abortion, built an egregiously over-priced tunnel between NY and NJ,  funded border walls in several different countries while abandoning our own, and agreed to spend our country into oblivion as he has completely capitulated to both the Democrats and the greedy neocon Republicans!

If you really look closely however at what has just happened with the signing of this bill; you will see that it is an absolutely beyond brilliant maneuver on the part of our President! Please take note that what was signed was not a budget; it was an omnibus spending bill.

Let’s start with the difference between a budget and an Omnibus bill. With an actual budget, which we have not had in approximately 9 years, congress passes and the president signs into law 12 separate appropriations bills. These 12 bills together provide funding for the federal government. In a budget, money is specifically laid out by congress and the president is obligated to spend it as congress has instructed.

An omnibus spending bill packages together all 12 of the appropriations bills that are supposed to be passed individually, into one large spending bill. These bills often contain many unrelated pieces of legislation that congress knows would be vetoed by the President if presented individually. Omnibus bills are typically hundreds or even thousands of pages long. Because of their size, omnibus bills usually only receive a cursory look by the committees charged with reviewing them. Despite lack of understanding of what is in the omnibus, they are not usually subject to much debate and pass through Congress quickly.

Unlike an actual budget; the appropriations in an Omnibus bill are merely “suggestions” and subject to POTUS discretion as he is free to re-appropriate funds in certain instances. One such instance, is in a declared national emergency.

I have already outlined why Congress would want to pass an Omnibus instead of an actual budget (to avoid a presidential veto), but why would POTUS agree to this approach? I believe that what we witnessed with the passage of this Omnibus bill is a president who knew he needed, but would never get,  the votes of the Democrats in order to acquire the funds to build the much needed, and promised, southern border wall. With the passage of this bill, he now has them.

With the Executive Order  passed in December of 2017; the President has declared a national human rights and corruption emergency; giving him a broad brush of authority as outlined within the EO. I believe he passed this EO in anticipation of just such a situation as this, as well as a few others.

After the passage of the Omnibus bill; POTUS initiated 2 separate letters to congress notifying them that he is invoking the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985. These letters can be viewed Here and Here.

By making these declarationomnibuss  President Trump has just communicated that he has the authority to NOT spend any funds he doesn’t deem necessary and will return them to the US Treasury. Planned Parenthood funds? He can either slow walk them for 6 months (Omnibus expiration), or choose to simply not allocate them at all.

These declarations also make some of the funds fungible; meaning interchangeable. This means that if he determines that building the wall on the Southern border is a defense against Human Trafficking, then he can move funds from anywhere else in the DOD allocation and use them to build the wall. Congress is powerless to stop monetary reallocations on an Omnibus bill and cannot intervene or stop the DOD from taking measures under a declared emergency.

President Trump has already indicated that this may be exactly what he will do in his tweet posted days after the signing of the Omnibus bill.

By using the Army Corp of Engineers to build the wall, the labor and materials can be designated as military spending, therefore immune from any congressional or legal interference. Although we all know they will try; and with a few corrupt judges, it may ultimately end up in the Supreme Court. Once there, the case will be decided in his favor as SCOTUS will validate the presidents constitutional authority. Remember, this bill is only valid until September 30, 2018. This means that any money designated in areas of waste can simply be slow-walked for 6 months until the bill expires. In this way; the wall will be built, Planned Parenthood and all of the other wasteful appropriations in the bill get nothing and any unspent dollars go back to the US treasury.

Given the way this appears to be unfolding, Ann Coulter and company may very well find themselves with a large helping of crow laid before them in the coming days!

Advanced super secret three-quarter mile tall wall-like structure spans more than ten thousand miles of seafloor in straight line

A massive 3/4 mile tall wall-like structure has been located on the bottom of the seafloor which spans a distance of over 10,000 miles

(INTELLIHUB) — A massive wall-like structure has been located spanning over 10,000 miles of the seafloor on Google Earth, from Antarctica to the North Pole.

The structure appears to be nearly three-quarters of a mile tall and appears to be elevated above the seafloor, held in place by some type of supports.

Gate-like entrances can be found in various places along the wall, some as wide as 8 miles.

What looks like massive tracks can also be seen crossing through these gate-like sections.

The structure emerges from Antarctica’s Glomar Challenger Basin and runs almost due north across the seafloor.

The structure appears to have been a secret, until now.

If you have any information on this structure or any ideas to what it could be please comment below.

‘Cards Against Humanity’ Announces Plan to Stop Trump’s Wall and Save America

(ANTIMEDIA) — On Tuesday, the creators of the popular politically incorrect game, Cards Against Humanity, announced their strategy to foil President Trump’s notorious plans for a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“It’s 2017, and the government is being run by a toilet. We have no choice: Cards Against Humanity is going to save America,” they wrote on the site announcing their new holiday promotion.

According to a promotional video in the form of a satirical historical mockumentary of current times:

“In the early part of the 21st century, Donald Trump had just been elected president of the United States. The American empire was in decline. After decades of global supremacy, the people had become lazy and stupid.”

According to the website they launched specifically for the promotion:

“Donald Trump is a preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans. He is so afraid that he wants to build a twenty-billion-dollar wall that everyone knows will accomplish nothing.

“So we’ve purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built.”

According to the company’s video, which channels Mike Judge’s cult classic film Idiocracy, everyone who contributes $15 to the promotion will receive a small plot of the land in addition to six surprises throughout the month of December.

“On the first day of the campaign, Cards Against Humanity purchased acres of land on the US-Mexico border and didn’t build a wall on it. They retained a law firm to fight the U.S. government and prevent them from ever building the wall,” says a “historian” in the promo video.

Cards Against Humanity says they intend to fight “injustice, lies, racism, the whole enchilada.”

Despite the humor of the campaign, it’s unclear whether it will actually be effective or relevant. The federal government has already made it clear it intends to seize private property in order to move forward with construction, though the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection have been unable to clarify how many Americans will have their land confiscated for the wall. Further, as AZ Central noted Tuesday:

“Eminent domain poses the biggest hurdle to border-wall construction in Texas, where nearly the entire length of its international boundary is privately owned. A USA TODAY NETWORK analysis of property records shows almost 5,000 parcels of land sit within 500 feet of the Texas border.”

For now, though the House of Representatives has approved funding for the wall, the Senate has not. Prototypes, however, are currently under construction.

We Need To Build Trump’s Wall, And We Need To Build It Tall And Strong

We Need To Build Trump’s Wall, And We Need To Build It Tall And Strong | Illegal-Immigration-Border-Wall-Public-Domain-700x466 | Special Interests US News

Did you know that Mexico is the second deadliest nation on the entire planet? The drug war down there continues to spiral completely out of control, and often the violence spills over to our own side of the border. Thanks to President Trump, security along the border is improving, but we still have a long, long way to go. Ultimately what we need is a physical barrier, because large numbers of illegal immigrants continue to pour through the soft spots in our border security. I know that a lot of liberals don’t like the idea of a wall, but that is the only way that we are going to make sure that everyone comes into this country through the front door.

The United States is a nation of immigrants, and we will always need a certain level of immigration from other nations. But prior to the Trump administration, our approach to immigration policy was absolutely insane. We had made the legal immigration process an extremely costly and complicated nightmare that hardly anyone could understand or navigate, and yet we had kept the back door completely wide open for drug dealers, gang members, terrorists, sexual predators and anyone that just wanted to take advantage of the system.

We have got to make our legal system of immigration less costly and less complicated, and at the same time we need to slam the back door completely shut so that everyone is forced to come in to the U.S. through the front door.

To illustrate why this is such an incredibly important issue, I would like to share the story of Estefania Soto with you. Thanks to a drunk illegal immigrant, Soto lost her boyfriend and her baby recently in a horrific traffic accident…

Estefania Soto has spent her days in various hospital rooms since the crash on June 10. She and her boyfriend, 28-year-old Raul Diaz, Jr., were on a motorcycle on Farm to Market 973 near FM 969 in east Travis County when they were hit head-on by a truck.

The crash killed Diaz and resulted in the premature birth of their child. Soto, 26, was only six months pregnant. Their baby was delivered through a C-section after the crash and passed away shortly after.

Soto has had 15 surgeries over the past month including a leg amputation.

If Trump’s wall had already been in place, 38-year-old Cesar Corona-Quiterio may have never had the chance to enter this country illegally and Estefania Soto may still be looking forward to a new life with her husband and her baby.

Another tragedy that could have potentially been averted by a wall on the southern border was the brutal rape of a 14-year-old girl at a high school in Rockville, Maryland. The following comes from Fox News…

Jose O. Montano, 17, from El Salvador, and Henry E. Sanchez-Milian, 18, from Guatemala, were charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense after they allegedly attacked the girl at 9 a.m. last Thursday.

“The victim was walking in a school hallway when she met two male students, identified as Montano and Sanchez. Montano asked the victim to walk with him and Sanchez. Montano asked the victim to engage in sexual intercourse. She refused,” Montgomery County Police said in a statement.

“Montano asked the victim again and then forced her into a boy’s bathroom and then into a stall. Montano and Sanchez both raped the victim inside the bathroom stall.”

How would you feel if that was your own daughter?

I don’t understand how people can be against the wall. We literally have a war zone on the other side of the border, and CNN has reported that the drug war down in Mexico claimed an astounding 23,000 lives last year…

It was the second deadliest conflict in the world last year, but it hardly registered in the international headlines.

As Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan dominated the news agenda, Mexico’s drug wars claimed 23,000 lives during 2016 — second only to Syria, where 50,000 people died as a result of the civil war.

And the rising violence in Mexico and much of the rest of central America has been slowly spreading to communities all across the United States. For example, just check out what has been happening on Long Island…

With MS-13 blamed for a trail of 11 corpses of mostly young people found since the start of the school year in Brentwood and Central Islip, the nation’s focus has turned on how the Central American street gang built such a presence here.

The bloodshed in the two blue-collar towns has gotten the attention of President Donald Trump, who says the killings are the result of lax immigration policies that let too many criminal ‘scum’ slip through.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions gave a speech Friday not far from a park where the bodies of four young men were found this month bearing MS-13’s hallmarks: repeated slashes from a blade that left the victims nearly unrecognizable.

Are you starting to understand why I am so adamant about building Trump’s wall?

We need to build it high, we need to build it strong, and we need armed guards patrolling every inch of it.

One of the fundamental duties of the federal government is national security, and for decades prior to the Trump administration we had leaders that absolutely refused to secure our borders.

Thankfully, now we have a president that is determined to do something about this national crisis, but we still have a Congress that is intent on blocking him every step of the way.

Every member of Congress that doesn’t want Trump’s wall needs to go, and they need to be replaced by new blood that is ready to do whatever is necessary in order to protect the American people.

BORDER PATROL ENERGIZED LIKE NEVER BEFORE, SAYS UNION PRESIDENT

BORDER PATROL ENERGIZED LIKE NEVER BEFORE, SAYS UNION PRESIDENT

Agents once again enforcing border security after catastrophic Obama era.

 | Infowars.com – JULY 17, 2017

The US Border Patrol is energized like never before, after enduring eight years of the Obama administration’s open borders policies, according to Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.

Appearing on Fox and Friends, Judd expressed appreciation on behalf of his union for being re-empowered to do their jobs properly by the Trump administration.

“During the Obama administration, I know a lot of you and your officers felt hamstrung, couldn’t really do your job – what about now?” asked host Steve Doocy.

“There’s a vibe, there’s an energy in the Border Patrol that’s never been there before,” responded Judd. “In 20 years that I’ve been in the Patrol, we haven’t seen this type of energy.”

“We’re excited because we signed up to do a job, and this President is allowing us to do that job.”

When asked by Doocy if he felt that Trump could overcome RINO obstructionists in Congress and fulfill the critical campaign promise of building a wall on the southern border with Mexico, Judd replied, “You’ve got to appreciate the President. He knows the buttons to push, and he’s pushing the right buttons – and I think it’s going to get done.”

Asked to discuss the dramatic decrease in illegal border crossings over the past 6 months, Judd gave much of the credit to the Trump administration’s enforcement of existing laws that were sidelined by Obama.

“The President has done a great job of actually enforcing the laws, something we didn’t see in the last eight years,” responded Judd. “If we continue to do that, a clear message will be sent throughout the world that if you cross our borders illegally, you will be detained and you will be sent back.”

“We’ve had a drop [in illegal crossings] that we’ve never seen before with any president, and so if you’re in the left, right or middle, you have to say this President has done exactly what he promised to do, and we do have border security like we expect to see.”

The National Border Patrol Council made their first-ever presidential endorsement during the 2016 race, issuing a strongly-worded statementcondemning the status quo while throwing the weight of over 16,500 agents behind candidate Trump.

“We need a person in the White House who doesn’t fear the media, who doesn’t embrace political correctness, who doesn’t need the money, who is familiar with success, who won’t bow to foreign dictators, who is pro-military and values law enforcement, and who is angry for America and NOT subservient to the interests of other nations,” wrote the NBPC. “Donald Trump is such a man.”

“Not Going To Risk A Shutdown Over Anything”: Democrats Get Trump And GOP to Abandon Border Wall

trump-wall3

This article was written by Michael Snyder and originally published at the Economic Collapse Blog.

Editor’s Comment: It all boils down to politics; there’s the politics of the campaign, and then there’s the real politics of Washington deal making and budgets. Who knows if there will ever be a border wall, or if a better arrangement could be made. What is clear is that the American people can try again and again to get a government that will do its bidding, but there was a higher bidder a long time ago.

The Democrats Get Trump And The Republicans To Fold, And That Means There NEVER Will Be A Border Wall

by Michael Snyder

Well, that didn’t take long.  Yesterday I reported that the Democrats were threatening to force a government shutdown if money for a border wall was included in the bill to fund the government, and one day later Donald Trump has unconditionally surrendered.  Despite all of Trump’s promises, a border wall isn’t going to happen at this time, but of course he is pledging to “try again” in September.  But will anything change for the Democrats between now and September?  Of course not.  The Democrats will continue to use these same tactics whenever funding for a border wall comes up, and because Republicans always end up backing down on the most controversial issues that means that there never will be a border wall.

Do you know why the Democrats always get virtually everything that they want?

It is because they have a backbone.

They would have been willing to force a government shutdown that could have lasted for many months just to make sure not a single penny of taxpayer money was allocated for a border wall.

I certainly don’t agree with their principles, but at least the Democrats are willing to stand up for them.

On the other hand, Trump is showing that he is willing to flip flop on just about anything once he meets the least bit of resistance.

And if Trump is willing to give up on his number one campaign promise so easily, what else will he be willing to give up on?  The Huffington Post has compiled an excellent timeline of Trump’s border wall promises right here.  As you can see, he was very bold while he was campaigning, but now according to NBC News he has essentially thrown in the towel on a border wall less than 100 days into his presidency…

President Donald Trump has indicated that he’s willing to back away from his demand that a government funding bill include money to build a wall on the Southern border, a move that could help clear the way for Congress to avoid a shutdown.

A senior administration official tells NBC News that the president is open to obtaining funding for the border wall in the regular appropriations process for 2018 later this year instead of insisting it be included as part of the large spending bill to keep the government’s lights on past this week.

Of course we are being told that building the wall is still “an important priority” for Trump and that the administration will try again in September.  The following comes from Bloomberg…

“Building that wall and having it funded remains an important priority to him but we also know that that can happen later this year and into next year, and in the interim you see other smart technology and other resources and tools being used toward border security,” Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway said on Fox News on Tuesday.

But why in the world would the Democrats change their minds and give him funding for a border wall in a few months when they are so vehemently against it right now?

I have to say that I agree with Rush Limbaugh on this one…

“The Democrats seem to have successfully used this stupid, silly threat of a government shutdown to get their way,” Limbaugh said Tuesday, in one of his first major rebukes of the president. “What Trump is saying is if we need to get this done, then I’ll delay the spending on the wall until September. And it’s just a measly billion dollars.”

He continued: “Trump, I’m sure, does not ever think he caves on anything. But outward appearances are what they are. And the bottom line is that if he is willing to withdraw a demand of his for a measly billion dollars for the wall because the Democrats are threatening a shutdown, then the Democrats will have just learned that this threat works on Trump, too, not just all the other Republicans.”

Of course Trump and the Republicans have caved in on defunding Planned Parenthood too.

Actually I don’t think that they ever intended to put up much of a fight.

This is another battle that the Democrats would have been willing to shut down the government indefinitely to win.  They are completely united in their support for Planned Parenthood, and they would have been willing to risk the greatest governmental crisis in U.S. history to get their way.

So even though the Republicans control the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, the Democrats are winning on big issue after big issue because they back up their convictions with courage.

Yes, there are potentially other ways that the Republicans could sneak the defunding of Planned Parenthood into various pieces of legislation, but because enough Republican members of Congress are “squishy” on this issue it isn’t likely to ever actually happen.

I have said it before, and I will say it again.  If Planned Parenthood was going to ever be defunded, now was the time.

Since the Republicans have chosen not to even put up a fight, that is a very, very ominous sign for our nation.

Just like every single one of the Democrats, any Republican that votes for any bill that includes funding for Planned Parenthood or that signs such a bill is going to be partially responsible for the blood of the countless number of babies that Planned Parenthood slaughters each year.

Unfortunately, most of these gutless Republican politicians seem unwilling to stand up for much of anything these days.  In fact, one Republican member of Congress has openly stated that she is “not going to risk a shutdown over anything”…

Republicans will also be content: many members of the GOP had indicated they would be satisfied with a spending bill that included money for means of strengthening security along the border other than a wall. “Border security’s the main issue—whether that includes a wall or technology, drones, or repairing what we have,” Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R., W.Va.) said Monday evening. Ms. Capito said she wasn’t interested in risking a shutdown over the border wall.

“I’m not going to risk a shutdown over anything,” she said.

So the Democrats are going to use the threat of a government shutdown to get their way on these big issues year after year until Republicans finally grow some spines and decide to stand up for themselves.

Trump’s Border Wall Funding Could Be Delayed to Avoid Government “Shutdown”

(ANTIMEDIA) Washington, D.C. — While claiming he still has every intention of building his long-championed border wall between the United States and Mexico, President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he’s willing to postpone that controversial plan if it will allow Congress to agree on urgent legislation.

“President Trump insisted on Tuesday that he remained committed to his hotly disputed plan to build a wall along the Mexican border,” the New York Times reports, “despite backing off a demand that the project be funded in a short-term spending measure that must be passed by Friday to avoid a government shutdown.”

On Twitter, Trump reassured his supporters of his conviction and warned them not to be led astray by outside influences.

“Don’t let the fake media tell you that I have changed my position on the WALL,” the president wrote Tuesday morning. “It will get built and help stop drugs, human trafficking, etc.”

The border wall was one of Trump’s primary campaign promises and has been an issue of great debate since day one. Congressional Democrats had previously accused Trump of slipping the border funding demand in at the last minute, claiming the demand itself was holding up the process.

“If the administration would drop their 11th-hour demand for a wall that Democrats, and a good number of Republicans, oppose,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s spokesman, Matt House, said in a statement last Friday, “congressional leaders would quickly reach a deal.”

On Monday, while speaking on MSNBC, House’s boss equated Trump’s move to him throwing a “monkey wrench” into the works.

Wrench or not, the fact — according to the president’s own Custom and Borders Protection agency — is that illegal border crossings have dropped around 75 percent since Trump entered the White House, which raises the pertinent question of whether a wall is necessary in the first place.

Hispanic-Owned Businesses Dominate Bids For Trump's 'Xenophobic' Border Wall

Trump"s proposed border wall has been described by many of the left as everything from "xenophobic" to just plain "racist" and pretty much everything in between.  That said, perhaps "equal opportunity employer" would be more accurate in light of a new analysis from the Wall Street Journal that took a look at who has submitted bids to help construct the wall so far...in a little dose of irony for the left, hispanic-owned businesses currently lead the charge with 32 bids.

More than 200 companies have expressed interest in submitting plans to help design and build a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico, as the Trump administration seeks to fulfill a key campaign promise despite significant obstacles.

The companies, whose names were published on a federal contracting website, vary widely in size and capability—from construction giants like Kiewit Corp. to smaller, family-owned businesses.

Among those interested at this early stage are more than three dozen businesses owned by minorities, a Wall Street Journal analysis shows. Roughly 13% of the companies expected to submit proposals for the wall, for example, are owned by Hispanics.

Border Wall

One such immigrant-owned business bidding on the border wall is run by Mario Burgos whose father immigrated to the U.S. from Ecuador.

Mario Burgos,  the son of an immigrant, owns an Albuquerque, N.M., construction logistics company and plans to submit a proposal. He said he viewed the project as more geared toward border security than immigration, and a surefire way to boost employment in job-strapped New Mexico.

“I am not against immigrants by any stretch of the imagination,” said Mr. Burgos, whose father came to the U.S. from Ecuador. “There isn’t a country in the world that doesn’t have borders and doesn’t want to enforce them.”

Mr. Burgos noted that his company, Burgos Group LLC, which holds various defense contracts with federal agencies, has handled projects in southern New Mexico near the border and was familiar with operating in remote, rugged locations.

Meanwhile the owner of Helix Steel said he"s not worried about the potential political fallout, saying "if fighting for American jobs is wrong, I’ll take that risk."

Other interested businesses have niche specialties, like Leesburg, Va.-based Helix Steel. Chief Executive Chris Doran said Helix’s products, which make concrete more resistant to blasts and other stresses, would suit what he called a “massive opportunity.”

Mr. Doran, whose company has about 50 employees, said he wasn’t concerned with fallout from participating in the project. “All I can say is I’m fighting for American jobs, and if fighting for American jobs is wrong, I’ll take that risk,” he said.

Of course, as we noted last week, just as Trump sent out RFP"s for his impenetrable, yet "aesthetically pleasing", 30-foot border wall, Mexico"s government warned Mexican companies that it would not be in their best "interests" to participate in the project even though there will be no explicit legal restrictions or sanctions to stop them if they tried.  Per Reuters:

"We"re not going to have laws to restrict (companies), but I believe considering your reputation it would undoubtedly be in your interest to not participate in the construction of the wall," said Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo.

"There won"t be a law with sanctions, but Mexicans and Mexican consumers will know how to value those companies that are loyal to our national identity and those that are not," Guajardo added.

His comments echo those of Mexico"s foreign minister Luis Videgaray, who said on Friday that Mexican companies that see a business opportunity in the wall should "check their conscience" first.

Seems like the list of "racist" companies in this country is growing very quickly.

It’s Official: You’re Paying for Trump’s Wall — Twice

(ANTIMEDIA) “We’re going to build a big, beautiful wall — and Mexico is gonna pay for it,” was one of Donald Trump’s campaign mantras. However, as Americans who don’t have political short-term memory loss will remember, politicians break promises once they’re elected. Such is the case with Trump’s promise to make Mexico pay for his “great” wall.

We"re revolutionizing the news industry, but we need your help! Click here to get started.

You’re paying for it, not Mexico, and Trump’s newly released White House budget has made it official.

The Trump budget blueprint, released late Wednesday, calls for taxpayers to fund $4.1 billion through 2018 for Trump’s wall along the southern border of the United States. But that’s just for the initial construction. According to DHS estimates, the overall cost to taxpayers could be $21.6 billion, a figure that will likely be even higher considering the government’s penchant for going over budget and deadlines.

But wait, there’s more. Because Mexico has made it abundantly clear that it will not pay for America’s “great” wall, Trump has floated the idea of slapping a 20 percent tariff on all goods imported from Mexico to make up for the cost. This idea may sound legitimate if you disregard the laws of economics, but the reality is that Americans will wind up paying for the tariffs through higher food and consumer prices. As Anti-Media reported in January:

“Many food products that people living in the U.S. enjoy, like fruits, vegetables, beef, and avocados, could be taxed an extra 20 percent under Trump’s plan. Mexican beer like Corona? 20 percent. Tequila, too. Cars, electronic equipment, machines, engines, pumps, oil, medical and technical equipment, furniture, lighting, signs, plastics, gems, precious metals, coins, iron, and steel products are Mexico’s top exports, which could be taxed 20 percent more.”

In response to the proposed tariffs, Mexico stated it would return tariffs — or border taxes — on U.S. goods going into Mexico, which would hurt American businesses and workers. So basically, you’ll be paying for the wall twice, or possibly three times if you are employed or own a business that relies on exports to Mexico.

At a time when illegal immigration to the U.S. from Mexico has reached a 40-year low, and the supposed economic benefits of the wall are nowhere to be found (though its negative effects are already being felt), many people are likely left wondering if it’s even worth it.

Here’s A Better Solution Than Trump’s Border Wall

(RPI – Op-Ed) Just two weeks in office, President Trump is already following through on his pledge to address illegal immigration. His January 25th executive order called for the construction of a wall along the entire length of the US-Mexico border. While he is right to focus on the issue, there are several reasons why his proposed solution will unfortunately not lead us anywhere closer to solving the problem.

First, the wall will not work. Texas already started building a border fence about ten years ago. It divided people from their own property across the border, it deprived people of their land through the use of eminent domain, and in the end the problem of drug and human smuggling was not solved.

Second, the wall will be expensive. The wall is estimated to cost between 12 and 15 billion dollars. You can bet it will be more than that. President Trump has claimed that if the Mexican government doesn’t pay for it, he will impose a 20 percent duty on products imported from Mexico. Who will pay this tax? Ultimately, the American consumer, as the additional costs will be passed on. This will of course hurt the poorest Americans the most.

Third, building a wall ignores the real causes of illegal border crossings into the United States. Though President Trump is right to prioritize the problem of border security, he misses the point on how it can be done effectively and at an actual financial benefit to the country rather than a huge economic drain.

The solution to really addressing the problem of illegal immigration, drug smuggling, and the threat of cross-border terrorism is clear: remove the welfare magnet that attracts so many to cross the border illegally, stop the 25 year US war in the Middle East, and end the drug war that incentivizes smugglers to cross the border.

The various taxpayer-funded programs that benefit illegal immigrants in the United States, such as direct financial transfers, medical benefits, food assistance, and education, cost an estimated $100 billion dollars per year. That is a significant burden on citizens and legal residents. The promise of free money, free food, free education, and free medical care if you cross the border illegally is a powerful incentive for people to do so. It especially makes no sense for the United States government to provide these services to those who are not in the US legally.

Likewise, the 40 year war on drugs has produced no benefit to the American people at a great cost. It is estimated that since President Nixon declared a war on drugs, the US has spent more than a trillion dollars to fight what is a losing battle. That is because just as with the welfare magnet, there is an enormous incentive to smuggle drugs into the United States.

We already know the effect that ending the war on drugs has on illegal smuggling: as more and more US states decriminalize marijuana for medical and recreational uses, marijuana smuggling from Mexico to the US has dropped by 50 percent from 2010.

Finally, the threat of terrorists crossing into the United States from Mexico must be taken seriously, however once again we must soberly consider why they may seek to do us harm. We have been dropping bombs on the Middle East since at least 1990. Last year President Obama dropped more than 26,000 bombs. Thousands of civilians have been killed in US drone attacks. The grand US plan to “remake” the Middle East has produced only misery, bloodshed, and terrorism. Ending this senseless intervention will go a long way toward removing the incentive to attack the United States.

I believe it is important for the United States to have secure borders, but unfortunately President Trump’s plan to build a wall will end up costing a fortune while ignoring the real problem of why people cross the borders illegally. They will keep coming as long as those incentives remain.

Trump Demands Mexico Deal With Cartels: “Take Care of Bad Hombres” Or U.S. Troops Will

trump-wall3

One thing is for certain, a new sheriff is in town.

Well, the phrase is underwhelming given the enormous power now (unduly) vested in the executive branch. But President Trump’s stylings as an international negotiator and commander-in-chief harken back to a simpler and more brazen day from the Old West, and he isn’t just shaking hands and promising to work on nebulous issues of cooperation.

With promises to build a wall, scale back immigration, send back criminals and welfare dependents and cut off the parasitism from South of the border, President Trump is now demanding that the Mexico President, Pena Nieto – widely viewed as a weak leader – stop the cartels if he could. As the Associated Press reports:

President Donald Trump threatened in a phone call with his Mexican counterpart to send U.S. troops to stop “bad hombres down there” unless the Mexican military does more to control them, according to an excerpt of a transcript of the conversation obtained by The Associated Press.

“You have a bunch of bad hombres down there, and we’re going to get them out,” Trump told Pena Nieto, according to the excerpt given to AP. “You aren’t doing enough to stop them. I think your military is scared. Our military isn’t, so I just might send them down to take care of it.”

A person with access to the official transcript of the phone call provided only that portion of the conversation to The Associated Press. The person gave it on condition of anonymity because the administration did not make the details of the call public.

The report described Trump as humiliating Pena Nieto in a confrontational conversation.

Openly humiliating another world leader is not the path that the past several presidents have taken. So this is certainly news.

If this report is accurate (Mexico has officially denied it, but another Mexican press agency confirmed that something like this conversation took place), it is a whole new ball game. Sending U.S. troops to take on Mexican gang violence that has claimed that lives of tens of thousands and made true stability and prosperity south of the border absolutely impossible, would be completely unprecedented in the 20th or 21st Centuries, and after decades of officially friendly relations – setting things back to about 1850 when the two countries were last at war.

Of course, just the opposite has been offered from our neighbor to the South. Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs for Mexico, Jorge Castañeda Gutman, made a veiled threat on CNN to attack the U.S., supposing that if the U.S. ended the incentive for friendly cooperation, Mexico might unleash a new wave of cartel violence upon America – on purpose and with a vengeance.

Mexico has a lot of negotiating chips in this matter, Fareed, but it also has measures we could take in other areas. For example, the drugs that come through Mexico from South America, or the drugs that are produced here in Mexico all go to the United States. This is not our problem. We have been cooperating with the United States for many years on these issues because they’ve asked us to and because we have a friendly, trustful relationship. If that relationship disappears, the reasons for cooperation also disappear.

If anything can stop cartel violence, it may be an end to the drug war and prohibition, which has driven much of the illegal smuggling across borders, and a growing and heightened police state.

Short of that, U.S. troops, or special advisors might make a serious dent, but also risk blowback of counterinsurgency and war in the streets – not only in Mexico, but in the streets of America as well.

Let’s hope the best end surfaces quickly.

Avocados and other produce may skyrocket in price; day laborers may be forced back into their failing country and relations could deteriorate into outright hostility towards the gringo.

Trump is NOT willing to play friendly if playing friendly means congeniality in spite of a slap in the face to American interests. In his very first days, the new President-Sheriff has put Mexico, Iran, China and other players on notice, and has explicitly threatened to use American force to back up his tough words and straightforward demands.

For better or worse, this is something no president in memory or recent times has every attempted. We are in uncharted and very dangerous waters. Let us hope President Trump knows what he is doing.

The use of American troops is only meant as a last resort; but arguably, U.S.-Mexico relations are already there and Trump arrived at that point. Every other policy has failed for the past several decades.

How do you think things will play out?

Mexican Official Threatens to Combat President Trump By “Unleashing Drug Cartels”

drug-cartel-killings

There will be war in the streets, or at least there could be.

The strong armed tactics against Mexico are not making officials happy south of the border.

Now, with an executive order facilitating the deportation of illegal immigrants – and especially those who have committed criminal offenses – as well as building a wall on the border, President Trump has many Mexicans up in arms.

Jorge Castañeda Gutman, former Secretary of Foreign Affairs in Mexico, took things a step further during an interview on CNN with Fareed Zakaria when he suggested that Mexico’s previous cooperation with the U.S. in curbing the flow of drugs and illegal immigrants could end.

Instead, the cartels could be essentially unleashed upon the U.S. – retribution for tough policies on Mexico and other immigrant-producing countries in the Latin American world.

These astonishing words could open up an economic gang war against the U.S. –  very irresponsible words that reveal just how connected Mexico’s leadership is with the violent drug cartels who operate from their territories:

Mexico has a lot of negotiating chips in this matter, Fareed, but it also has measures we could take in other areas. For example, the drugs that come through Mexico from South America, or the drugs that are produced here in Mexico all go to the United States. This is not our problem. We have been cooperating with the United States for many years on these issues because they’ve asked us to and because we have a friendly, trustful relationship. If that relationship disappears, the reasons for cooperation also disappear.

The implications are astoundingly clear – Mexico would consider exporting chaos and violence into the United States as a form of payback for immigration restrictions and controls against the instability that the southern border has brought to the country for decades.

Out of bitterness or desperation, or a mix of both, Mexico’s finest would apparently weaponize their most brutal elements and deliberately send them North to sow chaos – only proving the reasons for controlling the border and reigning in the deterioration of the U.S. standard of living that has been going on for such a long time now.

Though no one would win, things could get pretty ugly…

Drug cartels and Mexican gangs have killed an estimated 40,000 people over the past decade in Mexico alone, as well as plenty of people on the U.S. side as well. Beheadings, etc. have gripped headlines and terrified the population.

The collusion of the Mexican government has worsened the problem, and the largest issues continue to explode. Why exactly shouldn’t President Trump attempt to stop this insane violence and deadly trafficking?

Here’s the full interview:

Trump’s moves against immigration, et al. have the other side in a tail spin – and now it may be war of one kind or another.

Clearly, they will play dirty.

‘Mr President, don’t build this wall!’: Berlin’s mayor urges Trump to learn from history

(RT) Berlin Mayor Michael Müller has just sent President Donald Trump a message about his proposed Mexican border wall. As the mayor of the iconic German city that was divided by an imposing wall for almost three decades, Muller is in good position to offer advice.

“Berlin, the city of the division of Europe, the city of freedom of Europe, cannot look without comment when a country plans to build a new wall,” Müller said in a statement Friday. “We Berliners know best how much suffering a division of an entire continent, cemented by barbed wire and wall, has caused. Millions of people have been seized by this division of life. In the end, we, the people, have overcome this division, and it is one of the 20th century’s star-studded hours when, at the Brandenburger Tor, the most important symbol of the division, people conquered the Wall and then removed them piece by piece. The Brandenburg Gate stands for the spirit of freedom!”

Trump began moves to deliver on his campaign promise to build a wall at the Mexican border this week, signing an executive order for federal agencies to begin constructing the nearly 2,000-mile structure.

When Trump said he would raise a 20 percent tax on Mexican imports to cover the cost of the wall, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto canceled his planned visit to the White House.

“Today, at the beginning of the 21st century, we cannot simply accept it if all our historical experiences are thrown over by those to whom we largely owe our freedom, the Americans,” Müller’s statement continued. “I appeal to the President of the United States not to go this way of foreclosure and exclusion. Wherever such borders still exist today in Korea, in Cyprus, they create unfreedom and suffering.”

Müller ended his statement with a reminder of the words of US President Ronald Reagan, who in 1987 called on Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to take down the Berlin Wall. “Remember his words: ‘Tear down this wall,’” Müller said. “And so I say: Dear Mr. President, don’t build this wall!”

Fmr. MEX Pres. Fox: ‘Trump reminds me of Hitler, he needs to grow up’

(INTELLIHUB) — During an interview on CNN Friday, former Mexican President Vicente Fox compared President Donald Trump to “Hitler” and referred to the GOP as the “Nazi Party.”

The GOP ‘doesn’t seem to have a free mind and can’t decide anything on their own,’ Fox told CNN.

Fox addressed Trump on air by saying, “Senior Trump, please, please grow up, I mean now you are president of a great nation — of the most powerful nation in the world. Please grow up, be or try to be a real president. Keep throwing smoke balls, your strategy in dealing with businesses is not the one to do in government and among nations.”

Fox went on to say that we [Mexicans] are offended “because we’ve been harmed and because you are affecting our businesses like Ford Motor Company.”

Fox said that people are not buying Ford cars because Trump “played around with Ford Motor Company […] now several Mexican states that buy units from Ford Motor Company are not buying anymore and several corporations in Mexico are doing the same thing.”

Fox continued saying that the expense will ultimately be transferred to the American consumer, “so Mexico is not paying for the wall, you are paying for the wall, taxpayers in the United States are not paying for the wall.”

Trump is a “populist [who] plays around with everybody,” Fox stated, attacking Trump for signing executive orders.

It “will not happen,” Fox said, ‘Trump will not get the money from Mexico.’

TRUMP’S PLANNED WALL IS ESSENTIAL TO PROTECT AMERICA AND AMERICANS

By Michael W. Cutler – January 25, 2017

On Inauguration Day (Jan. 20), the day before and the day after, protestors who opposed Donald Trump’s election as the 45th U.S. President and his campaign promises, particularly his promise to build a wall, took to the streets. Among their hand-held signs, some read, “Build bridges, not walls,” a slogan that demonstrates how naive and ill-informed the protesters are.

Also on Jan. 20, the Department of Justice issued a press release that heralded the extradition to the United States of the leader of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel and of arguably the world’s most violent drug dealer.

The press release, “Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman Loera Faces Charges in New York for Leading a Continuing Criminal Enterprise and other Drug-Related Charges,” painted a clear image of the magnitude of the drug trafficking crimes, including crimes of extreme violence for which he has been indicted.

The press release contains links to the Detention Memo and the Indictment, and begins with these two paragraphs:

“The indictment alleges that between January 1989 and December 2014, Guzman Loera led a continuing criminal enterprise responsible for importing into the United States and distributing massive amounts of illegal narcotics and conspiring to murder persons who posed a threat to Guzman Loera’s narcotics enterprise.

“Guzman Loera is also charged with using firearms in relation to his drug trafficking and money laundering relating to the bulk smuggling from the United States to Mexico of more than $14 billion in cash proceeds from narcotics sales throughout the United States and Canada. As part of this investigation, nearly 200,000 kilograms of cocaine linked to the Sinaloa Cartel have been seized. The indictment seeks forfeiture of more than $14 billion in drug proceeds and illicit profits.”

In order to be successful in their drug trafficking crimes, the Sinaloa Cartel obviously needed to cross the border that is supposed to separate the U.S. from Mexico, not only to move mega-tonnage of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana into the U.S., but also the employees of the cartel that include “enforcers,” thugs who, on orders from their Cartel bosses, kill, kidnap and torture those who get in the way.

These criminals, almost invariably, were aliens who entered the U.S. illegally. It is alleged that in Mexico the Sinaloa Cartel was responsible for the murder of thousands of individuals, many of whom were beheaded to further intimidate those who posed a threat to the cartel.

However the violence was not limited to Mexico.

The press release noted that this investigation was conducted by courageous law enforcement officers in Colombia, Mexico, the U.S. and elsewhere. In the U.S., the investigation was pursued by the multi-agency Organized Crime, Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) that includes agents of the DEA, FBI, ICE and ATF, as well as members of local and state police departments.

Having spent the final ten years of my career with the INS assigned to OCDETF, I am extremely familiar with the effectiveness of the multiagency task force approach to the investigation and dismantling of large-scale narcotics trafficking organizations. They are critical to border security and effective enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws.

The extradition and prosecution of El Chapo and others are major U.S. law enforcement achievements made in cooperation with the valiant law enforcement officers of Mexico and Colombia. But, the “War on Drugs” continues.

Nevertheless, when Donald Trump campaigned to build a wall to secure the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico to prevent criminals, terrorists and drugs from entering the country, the globalists, aided and abetted by dishonest journalists, created the false narrative equating Trump’s goals and the goals of Americans who demand that our borders be secured against illegal entry with racism.

The provisions of Title 8 U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens guides CBP inspectors at ports of entry in making determinations as to the admissibility of aliens seeking entry into the U.S. These determinations have nothing to do with race, religion or ethnicity.

Jimmy Carter created the term “undocumented immigrant” to describe illegal aliens. Over time, that Orwellian tactic has come to enable immigration anarchists to con many Americans into believing that deporting illegal aliens actually refers to deporting all “immigrants” when nothing could be further from the truth.

Securing our borders against illegal entry is not to be equated with preventing all aliens from entering the U.S., only those aliens who violate our laws.

As I noted when I testified at a Congressional hearing several years ago, a country without secure borders can no more stand than can a house without walls.

Trump’s New Plan to Pay for the Border Wall: Make Your Groceries More Expensive

January 26, 2017   |   Nick Bernabe

(ANTIMEDIA) Donald Trump’s campaign promise to build a ‘great wall’ on southern border and make Mexico pay for it has already unraveled — less than a week since the reality TV star-turned-political power broker took office.

Trump has rolled back his campaign rhetoric about making Mexico pay for his wall, with the president admitting U.S. taxpayers will pay for it initially but claiming Mexico will pay the U.S. back for construction costs. The only problem is that Mexico has repeatedly refused to pay for the wall, and with turmoil already at a fever-pitch south of the border, Mexico’s government would risk all out revolution if it were to agree to any terms in which Mexicans were forced to pay for it.

But The Donald has a plan, and it seems pretty simple: Since Mexico won’t pay for the wall directly, he’ll just add a 20 percent tax their imports at the border. “We can do $10 billion a year and easily pay for the wall just through that mechanism alone. That’s really going to provide the funding,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters on Air Force One on Thursday.

That sounds pretty great, right? U.S. taxpayers will get a free wall by forcing Mexicans to pay for it by charging them to import the goods Americans consume from Mexico. Many food products that people living in the U.S. enjoy — like fruits, vegetables, and avocados — could be taxed an extra 20 percent under Trump’s plan. Mexican beer like Corona? 20 percent. Tequila, too. Cars, electronic equipment, machines, engines, pumps, oil, medical and technical equipment, furniture, lighting, signs, plastics, gems, precious metals, coins, iron, and steel products are Mexico’s top imports, which could be taxed 20 percent more.

But here’s what Trump and his short-sighted plan to pay for this wall won’t tell you: Mexico isn’t going to pay that tax — you are. By collecting an extra 20 percent in taxes at the border, Trump is about to charge you more for groceries at the supermarket. This will happen because Mexican exporters will have to raise their prices to account for the new tax, then that added cost will be passed on to the consumer. It happens every time a tariff is imposed. Not only that, but even non-imported goods go up in price because there is less competition in the market.

Imposing import taxes, or tariffs, is not a new policy. In fact, Barack Obama imposed a 35 percent tariff on Chinese tires from 2009-2012. As noted by the right-leaning National Review:

“Obama’s move could be credited with saving or creating $48 million of additional worker income and purchasing power.

“But the tariff also forced consumers to spend $1.1 billion more on tires than they otherwise would have — or roughly $900,000 per U.S. tire industry job created. And retaliatory tariffs imposed by the Chinese further hurt our economy. In early 2010, China’s Ministry of Commerce imposed tariffs ranging from 50.3 to 105.4 percent on American poultry imports, which ‘reduced exports by $1 billion as U.S. poultry firms experienced a 90 percent collapse in their exports of chicken parts to China.’”

Trump’s tough talk against Mexico is having other unintended consequences, as well. U.S. companies operating in Mexico, like Ford, McDonald’s, WalMart, and Costco, are now facing boycott threats inside Mexico in retaliation against Trump’s anti-Mexico rhetoric.

Mexico, like China did under Obama, will respond to America’s tariffs with some of their own, hurting U.S. businesses whose products are exported south of the border. The resulting trade war will only drive up consumer prices for working class Americans and Mexicans while increasing tensions between the neighboring countries to levels not seen in many, many years.

Trump Orders Construction Of Border Wall – ‘We Are Going To Restore The Rule Of Law’

Trump Orders Construction Of Border Wall – ‘We Are Going To Restore The Rule Of Law’

WASHINGTON — President Trump is making good on his promise to build a wall along the United States/Mexico border and to get tougher on illegal immigration.

Trump signed executive orders Wednesday ordering the building of a wall along the border and also calling for 5,000 additional border patrol agents and 10,000 new Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. The latter is contingent upon congressional funding, but the wall may not require it. That’s because a 2006 law – signed by President George W. Bush — funded a wall that was never completed after Democrats took control of Congress.

“We are going to restore the rule of law in the United States,” Trump said in an address to the Department of Homeland Security. “Beginning today the United States gets control of its borders.”

The wall will cost a lot — $15 billion total, or $3 million to $10 million a mile, NPR reported. The Washington Post’s estimate was even higher: $20 billion.

“A nation without borders is not a nation,” he said.

The Pocket-Sized Solar Generator That Can Jump-Start Your Car!

Trump still plans on having the Mexican government pay for the wall by reimbursing the U.S.

“All it is, is we’ll be reimbursed at a later date from whatever transaction we make from Mexico,” Trump told ABC News. “I’m just telling you there will be a payment. It will be in a form, perhaps a complicated form. What I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

Story continues below video

Trump contends the wall will benefit Mexico by cutting down on the number of people from Central America crossing through that country. Some of the wall’s costs might be covered by redirecting foreign aid money that is going to Mexico, CNN reported.

Construction on the wall, Trump added, will likely begin within months.

“Certainly, planning is starting immediately,” he said.

Around one-third of the US-Mexico border is already blocked by a fence.

The wall was just one of several actions on immigration in two executive orders Trump signed. Other actions included:

  • Withholding federal funds from “sanctuary cities” where local governments refuse to support enforcement of federal immigration laws.

  • Stepping up prosecutions of people accused of committing crimes along the border.

  • Increasing detention of illegal immigrants.

  • Forcing other countries to take back criminal aliens by withholding U.S. Visas to their citizens.

  • Giving ICE more power to arrest, detain and deport illegal immigrants.

“The recent surge of illegal immigration at the southern border with Mexico has placed a significant strain on Federal resources and overwhelmed agencies charged with border security and immigration enforcement, as well as the local communities into which many of the aliens are placed,” one of the executive orders reads. “Transnational criminal organizations operate sophisticated drug- and human-trafficking networks and smuggling operations on both sides of the southern border, contributing to a significant increase in violent crime and United States deaths from dangerous drugs.  Among those who illegally enter are those who seek to harm Americans through acts of terror or criminal conduct.  Continued illegal immigration presents a clear and present danger to the interests of the United States.”
