SECURITY OPERATIONS WITH A COALITION FORCE

Some time back, Stewart Rhodes asked me to write an article for  the national web site on the security operations we do here in Arizona.  About 2-3 years ago I developed a program we call Operation Braveheart.  This is a coalition of Oath Keepers, III%’s, militia, prepper groups, and many other patriot groups in the State of Arizona.  One group we recruited, known as the Arizona Liberty Guard (AZLG), formed a corporation and a private security company.  This group has worked with the Phoenix Police Department and the Department of Public Safety on several operations.  AZLG and Oath Keepers developed a good working relationship and, as a result, AZLG voted unanimously to join the Braveheart Coalition.

We have since done joint operations in conjunction with the Phoenix Police Department.  When DPS has requested AZLG assistance, they have stated they wanted a high profile presence as a deterrent.  And AZLG is a sight to see when they roll up on the event to provide perimeter and internal security.  They own several military vehicles, including a 5-ton.  They are so squared away that they have been mistaken for the National Guard.  We’re talking matching uniforms with unit patches and full load out.  Arizona OK’s Security Team and AZLG together number approximately 40-50 specially trained men who are capable of protecting a rather large venue.

The Oath Keepers Security Team is a more relaxed looking group, however they have an exceptional amount of experience with some very squared away military and law enforcement veterans.

We have run several operations in Phoenix for large groups, including a Trump Unity Rally, where Sheriff Joe Arpaio was speaking.  That rally brought ANTIFA activists, as well as other radical left wing groups to disrupt the event.  They were not successful.  They decided it would not be prudent to tangle with trained professionals.  The Phoenix Police Department, at the end of the event, told us they were very pleased with our performance and professionalism, and further stated  that we were the only volunteer group that they would work with in the future.  That’s the ultimate compliment from a large city Police Department.

Oath Keepers of Yavapai County, AZ, as well as Oath Keepers of Maricopa County, AZ, also provide much smaller teams to handle smaller venues and events.  Recently the Oath Keepers of Yavapai County have provided not only perimeter security, but also internal security, and personal protection for Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who is running for the U.S. Senate.  This was done in conjunction with the Arizona Rangers, a private security company who are uniformed and equipped to more resemble law enforcement.

At one recent event with Sheriff Joe, word got out to the local communists in Prescott that there would be a political rally and he would be there.  The local college put together a protest of about 60-70 people.  They started out with a “die-in” in protest of the Maricopa County Jail that Sheriff Arpaio is quite famous for running, and the reason why he is known as America’s toughest sheriff.  Then the communists held a protest out on the street with signs and banners near the entrance to the event.  Sheriff Arpaio went out and attempted to talk with them face to face about their issues.  They only shouted phrases loudly and refused to have any intelligent interaction with him.  It became quite heated, so the Oath Keepers formed up around the Sheriff for his safety.

When the event opened, the communists were permitted into the auditorium , which held about 200 participants.  They sat together at the back of the room.   This event was sponsored by two of our elected representatives to the Arizona State House, who were also present.  They appealed to the audience to be respectful and not to disrupt the presentations.  All went smoothly for about 45 minutes, when cell phone alarms started going off, and the communists stood up and began chanting, shouting down the speakers.  This is on tape and posted on the IGD (It’s Going Down) website.

If interested, watch the video and you will see our team protecting the dignitaries.  After a short while, the Sheriff was escorted out of the room (but he did not leave the venue).  The Oath Keepers Team escorted the communists out of the auditorium and off the premises.  The Sheriff returned to the auditorium and finished his program.  Several communists remained seated though there were no further interruptions.

Appreciation was expressed from the podium for the actions of the Oath Keepers and the Rangers to bring order back to the event, to loud applause.  The Oath Keepers were asked at the end of the event by Sheriff Joe Arpaio to come up on the stage and take a picture with him.  He did the same with the Arizona Rangers.

When finished, we escorted the Sheriff to his vehicle to make sure he could leave in safety.   There was much discussion of the event in local media and on local talk radio programs, with mentions of the Oath Keepers and the Arizona Rangers being there to back down the disruptors.

There was another Sheriff Arpaio event in our area within a month.  It was an invitation-only event, but the organizers were concerned about possible disruptions.  The Oath Keepers were called, along with the Arizona Rangers, for security.  The venue was swept prior to the event, and teams were positioned all around the perimeter.  When the Sheriff arrived, he expressed  his appreciation at again seeing these groups there to keep the peace.  Fortunately, there were no disruptions.  Some thought that they had seen some interested people drive by but, upon seeing the security teams, they decided not to enter the venue, and it was speculated that it may have been because of the successful expulsion of disruptors from the previous event.

The bottom line is that no one group or organization can handle every event. The concept is to work within a coalition of groups to present a much larger show of force, thereby mitigating the need for violence. Some times a simple Psy-Op is quite effective as well. However if things do get out of control, it is nice to have a viable force to fall back on.

Minutemen, Oath Keepers, CA State Militia, on the California Border

Gathering aims to relaunch Minutemen, fortify border, in response to caravan.

Operation Cinco de Mayo: In this video from the San Diego Union Tribune the founder of the Minutemen, former California State Assemblyman Tim Donnelly explains why he called for the muster on the border of California and Mexico. The groups that responded to the call were Minutemen, Oath Keepers, and the California State Militia. Tim Donnelly is currently running for Congress.

Pledging to report unauthorized entries into the United States — and shame any state leaders who welcome them — about 20 border security supporters assembled Saturday morning near Jamul.

The group, including members of the Minuteman patrol movement, coordinated volunteers to watch designated border regions for 24 hours.

Their vigil, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, was meant to help federal officers, Minuteman leader Tim Donnelly said.

By reporting unauthorized border crossings, the observers hope to help outnumbered border officers, Donnelly said. He is a Republican candidate for the 8th congressional district, which covers much of the desert area north of Imperial County.

The border-watching exercise was in part a reaction to the caravan of Central Americans who traveled through Mexico to enter the U.S. at the border between San Diego and Tijuana, said Donnelly, a former assemblyman.

It was also meant as a warning to Gov. Jerry Brown, who signed the California Values Act, which limits law enforcement in the state from certain kinds of cooperation with federal immigration officials. The law has been criticized as an effort to make California a sanctuary for unauthorized immigrants.

“My hope is that we will reignite the (Minuteman) movement and that people will again be aiding (border agents) for longer periods of time, longer musters,” Donnelly said.

The camouflage-dressed volunteers, wearing boots, bringing backpacks and other wilderness gear, were instructed on safety such as avoiding rattlesnakes before heading out from Pio Pico campground.

Volunteers were told to avoid confrontations with border crossers if possible, and to help those in distress.

“There is no animus toward those who are crossing desperate, you know, to escape oppression,” Donnelly said. “But at the same time, among those people come through wolves, people who mean harm people like Luis Bracamontes, who was just recently sentenced to death here in California for executing two sheriff’s deputies up in Sacramento.”

While expressing sympathy for plight of border crossers, Donnelly and others blasted Brown, who they said has violated his oath of office.

“This is not about waving American flags,” Donnelly said. “This is about actually securing the border and sending a message to the political authorities, to Jerry Brown.

“I dare Jerry Brown to come down and arrest me, because you might get arrested down here for being a tyrant, for being a traitor, for aiding and abetting illegal aliens and harboring them in violation of federal law, which is the supreme law of the land when it comes to immigration.”

‘Caravan’ a Deliberate Attempt to Exploit U.S. Laws and Undermine National Sovereignty

“Some people ‘associated with’ Central American caravan have entered U.S. illegally, federal officials say,” the Los Angeles Times “reports” in an agenda piece designed to elicit requisite sympathy for political advantage. “A pregnant woman and some children as young as 4 were detected entering the U.S. through a canyon that authorities described in a statement as dark, treacherous and ‘notorious for human and drug smuggling.’”

The first question one might ask is how the hell border security is so lax that this can happen. We know the “caravan” is coming and the canyon is a well-known route. If a pregnant woman (whose child will be a “birthright citizen” if allowed to stay) and children (who will all become wards of the U.S. taxpayers if they are) can make it through to our side under such conditions, it’s fair to ask how many blind eyes are deliberate, especially with recent reports of U.S. federal and local oath-breakers turning a profit off human smuggling.

What’s the reason we have government again?

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions called the caravan ‘a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system,’ pledging to send more immigration judges to the border to resolve cases if needed,” the Associated Press reports.

Why? If they enter the country illegally, if their first act is one of in-your-face criminality, why would it be in the interests of “securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” to spend untold millions deciding which of the lawbreakers are to be admitted and then caring for them after they are?

It’s not like all options for lawful entry have been closed off to “asylum seekers” – they’re just being manipulated by open borders subversives to create an incident at the expense of both exploited foreigners and national sovereignty.

“Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said asylum claims will be resolved ‘efficiently and expeditiously’ but said the asylum-seekers should seek it in the first safe country they reach, including Mexico,” the AP report notes.

Yeah. Once they’re in Mexico, which chose to admit them, they can go to the consulate and make their case. Not that once they’re in a “safe” country they really have one.  Trying to pressure and embarrass us, Mexico created this problem. They should be made to own it.

There are other dynamics in play here as well.  If simply being impoverished and living in primitive squalor and tyranny qualifies someone to come here, we need to open our doors to billions from around the world, just to be logically consistent. That’ll suit just fine “no-brainers” Blair Overstreet and Matt Dunn (quoted in the LA Times report), who are eager to open their apartment to a “refugee.”.

Not that most of the transplants will have private accommodations offered. And that, of course, will swamp the lifeboat and we’ll soon all be one big Third World hell hole — with the exception of our elite globalist rulers. And wait ‘til you get a load of their “commonsense guns safety laws.”

That will be OK for those with an alien understanding of the relationship between people and government. Having demonstrated their utter inability at self rule in their native land, they’re here to overwhelm us with their “diverse” ways. And those of us who resist will be branded intolerant, xenophobes, haters…

Which makes it fair to ask if we’re so evil, why are they running toward us rather than away from us?

It’s also fair to ask if “refugees” won’t stand fight for their country, what makes anyone think they’ll stand and fight for ours? In truth, they don’t have to. The oath for naturalized citizens was changed three years ago to where they no longer be expected to “bear arms on behalf of the United States” or “perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States” when required by the law.”

Let the country continue to be swarmed and Balkanized, and we may find no such aversion to bearing arms against the United States.

How Will Mass ‘Migrant’ Crossing Not Be an Unprovoked Foreign Attack?

“Migrant ‘caravan’ at U.S.-Mexico border prepares for mass crossing,” Reuters reported Thursday. “Hundreds of Central American migrants from a caravan that crossed Mexico reunited in Tijuana on Wednesday and planned to cross the border together this weekend in defiance of threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to repel them.”

If allowed to happen, the criminal invasion – and ultimately that’s what it is – will be a direct result of a chain of circumstances aided and abetted by the Mexican government in violation of its own laws.  Mexican law requires foreign nationals be in their country legally and that their presence be beneficial. It is a criminal offense there to aid and abet illegal immigration.

Pueblo sin Fronteras, coordinator of the “caravan,” solicits donations via Paypal but is not listed as a nonprofit on Guidestar. It does not show up on the California Secretary of State business search (Paypal locates them in La Crescenta). Its website domain registrar is hidden behind a proxy. To find out more, we can turn to supportive ”mainstream”  puff pieces, or alternatively, to sites alleging indirect Soros ties.

The other and more significant player on the U.S. side of the border is the state of California, with its sanctuary policies and its opposition to federal enforcement efforts. What happens if leftist federal judges on the 9th Circuit issue an injunction forbidding enforcement? What the options will there be if the state decides to intervene with more than rhetoric?

Chances are this will play out for the cameras and be exploited to feed a meme that further smears those opposed to open borders as violent xenophobes and racists. There are those who wouldn’t mind at all if this results in a bit of for-the-cameras violence — or more than a bit.

Global humanitarian crises will not be solved by subverting U.S. law and culturally terraforming the Republic. But the “organizers” have brought things to the point where an honest, humane desire to solve the plight of such people is used against those who would help, meaning there are those who are cynically exploiting “refugee” pawns and domestic useful idiots to advance a political agenda.

The government of Mexico knows this, and there need to be serious repercussions taken against the ungrateful, in-bed-with-the-cartels officials if they force this on us. They need us a lot more than we need them.

More importantly, this country needs to start acting like one.  But the differences between open borders subversives and political opportunist /cheap labor sellouts vs. Americans who want their country back are irreconcilable.

A rational U.S. policy for admitting foreign nationals could not be simpler: Look to the Preamble to the Constitution.  If government policy — on anything — fails to “form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,” then government is violating “the supreme Law of the Land.”

If oath-breaking representatives weren’t ignoring and subverting the Second Amendment every chance they get, we’d have the border problem pretty much solved peaceably via “a well regulated militia” standing guard to discourage and deter things getting out of hand:

“The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property.”

But that’s the last thing those who would fundamentally transform the Republic want to see happen, with “the security of a free State” via an armed citizen populace being the thing they fear most.

New ‘knife control’ policies will stop wave of London stabbings, mayor says

New knife control policies enacted by London mayor in desperate attempt to stop wave of stabbing: Passersby may be searched for knives if police see fit

(INTELLIHUB) — Migrants have committed so many stabbings and acid attacks that City of London Mayor Sadiq Khan recently suggested that drastic “knife control” policies be enacted to protect the unarmed and defenseless.

The  “tough” and “immediate” danger was met by a special violent crime task force made up of 120 new officers who are tasked with the job of finding out if citizens are carrying knives.

Interestingly enough, as it turns out, Khan previously reduced the number of on-the-fly police searches which some complained were ‘Islamophobic’ in nature.

Sheriff’s Association Weighs in Against CA Sanctuary State Laws

A law enforcement organization whose members include every county sheriff in California and across the nation threw its support Friday behind the Trump administration’s challenge to the state’s sanctuary laws, telling a federal judge that the laws interfere with immigration enforcement and could even subject local officers to criminal charges.

California “compels local law enforcement to violate federal law by concealing, harboring, or shielding illegal aliens,” the National Sheriffs’ Association said in a filing in federal court in Sacramento, where the Trump administration sued in March to overturn three new state laws that restrict local cooperation with federal immigration agents.

 The filing singled out provisions of one law, SB54, that prohibit local jail officials who are holding an undocumented immigrant in custody from notifying federal agents of the immigrant’s release date, or from transferring custody to immigration agents once the local sentence has been served. Those restrictions do not apply to immigrants held for serious or violent crimes.

By concealing an immigrant’s whereabouts from federal agents, and preventing them from taking custody, “SB54 coerces local law enforcement to violate the federal anti-harboring statute,” the sheriffs’ association said.

The association also said the state law was “intended to frustrate federal enforcement of immigration law” and conflicted with government statutes promoting “federal-state cooperation” on immigration. And by enacting “its own policy preferences about which foreign nationals should stay within the nation’s borders,” the sheriffs’ group said, California is interfering with the federal government’s “exclusive authority over foreign affairs.”

In its suit, the Trump administration is also challenging state laws that prohibit local employers from allowing immigration agents into private workplaces without a judicial warrant, and that allow the state attorney general to inspect detention centers that have contracted with the federal government to hold immigrants awaiting possible deportation.

PHOENIX (AP) – President Donald Trump said Thursday that he wants to send 2,000 and 4,000 National Guard members to the U.S.-Mexico border to help federal officials fight illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

Trump’s comments to reporters on Air Force One were his first estimate on guard levels he believes needed, and would be a lower number of troops than the 6,400 National Guard members that former President George Bush sent to the border between 2006 and 2008.

Asked about the cost, Trump said his administration was looking at it.

Trump said he plans to keep the guard members there until a “large portion of the wall is built.”

Earlier Thursday, Ronald Vitiello, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s acting deputy commissioner, cautioned against a rushed deployment.

“We are going to do it as quickly as we can do it safely,” Vitiello told Fox News Channel.

He said that guard members would be placed in jobs that do not require law enforcement work, an apparent reference to undertaking patrols and making arrests.

The National Guard in Texas expressed support, but said in a statement that deployment remained in “very early planning stages.” The Republican governors of New Mexico and Arizona have also backed the deployment. It remained unclear Thursday how Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown would respond to Trump’s call.

In Washington, Marine Lt. Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie told reporters at the Pentagon that it has not yet been determined how many, if any, of the troops participating in the border security operation will be armed.

With troops in all states, the National Guard has been called on by past presidents and governors to help secure U.S. borders, and the Texas contingent said it had “firsthand knowledge of the mission and operating area” that will allow it to move seamlessly into the new role.

Trump ordered the deployment because “we are at a crisis point” with illegal immigration, Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen of the Department of Homeland Security said.

“We’d like to stop it before the numbers get even bigger,” she said.

Nielsen said guard members would provide support to border officials, “help look at the technology, the surveillance, in some cases we’ll ask for some fleet mechanics” and free up agents trained in law enforcement for other duties.

Arrests along the U.S. border with Mexico jumped to 50,308 in March, a 37 percent increase from February, and more than triple the same period last year. Border arrests rose 10 of the last 11 months after falling in April 2017 to the lowest since the Department of Homeland Security was created in 2003.

A Story About Legal Immigration

By a Marine Corps Veteran, Retired Correctional Lieutenant, and Oath Keeper

We are a nation of laws, a Constitutional Republic! As such we already have immigration laws. I know this because of my beautiful wife. She and her family came here legally from the Philippines.

In 1966 after graduating from nursing school in the Philippines, my wife’s oldest sister and two other young women were sponsored by a hospital to come here as nurses. They did and found a small apartment within walking distance of their work. They did not buy cars or fancy clothes but all worked hard and took all the overtime that was available, for the sole purpose of sending money home to better their respective families.

In the case of my wife’s family the decision was made that the ten remaining siblings would all go to college for the chance to come to America, the land of milk and honey. The other two nurses were doing the exact same thing. It would be ten years before the first family members would come and one was my wife.

This was an arduous task as education was but one condition. There were numerous health and good standing requirements as well as the requirement to be sponsored by a United States citizen. My wife and another sister came here with nothing but their clothes and determination to work hard for the betterment of the remaining family members. Both of these ladies had to leave their children behind in an effort to create a better life. It would be two years before they would see their children again.

Even though both women had college educations, the educational requirements were different between the two countries. My wife and her sister cleaned houses, raked leaves, cleaned yards, and any other legal work that they could do so that they could go back to college and make up any educational requirements to better their lot.

They lived in a one bedroom apartment to save money. Then two years later their father along with their two children came. He was 72 at the time and came on a work visa. He secured a job with the county on a tree planting crew. He kept this job for fifteen years. Shortly after his arrival all that were here decided to become United States citizens. They studied, applied, were accepted, tested and sworn in.

Now there were four adults and two children living in a one bedroom apartment. Because everyone was working they decided that shifts had to be changed in order to provide for the children. Everyone was working every minute of overtime available to create a semblance of wealth. Some was sent home to provide for the rest and the remaining was banked for the future.

Three years passed and my wife and her older sister decided to buy a house in order to provide space for the family. They wrote a check and bought a home. Then more came and all went to work. My wife’s older brother came here with his wife and two young boys and was unable to secure a job, so he enlisted in the Army and made a career of it. His younger brother seeing this also joined the Army but after four years he left active duty and transferred to the National Guard. He also worked and eventually became a postman.

A second home was purchased and it was one block from the first. Then all came here and everyone became productive United States citizens. In total with the children there were 23 that came.

Not one of my wife’s family members, at any time, accepted or requested any aid, welfare or any handout of any kind. They are very proud of this fact.

Everyone can remember where they were on 9/11. As I watched the events unfold and I was getting ready for work as a Correctional Sergeant, my statement to my wife was, “This is the greatest nation on earth.” She said to me, “Yes it is but you don’t understand!” She continued to say that since I was born here I really had no idea. That she and her family, if they had stayed in the Philippines, would have never had to opportunity or great life that they enjoy. In America if you are willing to work hard that you can achieve your dreams.

My wife is very vocal on immigration. She believes in it as she and her entire family have prospered because of it. However she thinks and states that it is not only illegal, but extremely unfair, to allow any illegal to stay and reap benefits from taxpayers. We already have a path to citizenship that is legal.

Even though our friends on the left use buzzwords like undocumented, amnesty, and a path to citizenship, that does not change the fact that we are being overwhelmed by this burden. Despite what some may think, this is nothing more than a usurpation of our laws by giving illegals citizenship in order to buy Democrat votes.

Either we have laws or we don’t.

Has Donald J Trump “Betrayed his Base” with the signing of the Omnibus Spending Bill?

The answer to that question depends on who you listen to. If you listen to Ann Coulter, Rand Paul and many of the freedom caucus members; the apocalypse has struck and we better find a new candidate to run for 2020; because POTUS has just funded abortion, built an egregiously over-priced tunnel between NY and NJ,  funded border walls in several different countries while abandoning our own, and agreed to spend our country into oblivion as he has completely capitulated to both the Democrats and the greedy neocon Republicans!

If you really look closely however at what has just happened with the signing of this bill; you will see that it is an absolutely beyond brilliant maneuver on the part of our President! Please take note that what was signed was not a budget; it was an omnibus spending bill.

Let’s start with the difference between a budget and an Omnibus bill. With an actual budget, which we have not had in approximately 9 years, congress passes and the president signs into law 12 separate appropriations bills. These 12 bills together provide funding for the federal government. In a budget, money is specifically laid out by congress and the president is obligated to spend it as congress has instructed.

An omnibus spending bill packages together all 12 of the appropriations bills that are supposed to be passed individually, into one large spending bill. These bills often contain many unrelated pieces of legislation that congress knows would be vetoed by the President if presented individually. Omnibus bills are typically hundreds or even thousands of pages long. Because of their size, omnibus bills usually only receive a cursory look by the committees charged with reviewing them. Despite lack of understanding of what is in the omnibus, they are not usually subject to much debate and pass through Congress quickly.

Unlike an actual budget; the appropriations in an Omnibus bill are merely “suggestions” and subject to POTUS discretion as he is free to re-appropriate funds in certain instances. One such instance, is in a declared national emergency.

I have already outlined why Congress would want to pass an Omnibus instead of an actual budget (to avoid a presidential veto), but why would POTUS agree to this approach? I believe that what we witnessed with the passage of this Omnibus bill is a president who knew he needed, but would never get,  the votes of the Democrats in order to acquire the funds to build the much needed, and promised, southern border wall. With the passage of this bill, he now has them.

With the Executive Order  passed in December of 2017; the President has declared a national human rights and corruption emergency; giving him a broad brush of authority as outlined within the EO. I believe he passed this EO in anticipation of just such a situation as this, as well as a few others.

After the passage of the Omnibus bill; POTUS initiated 2 separate letters to congress notifying them that he is invoking the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985. These letters can be viewed Here and Here.

By making these declarations  President Trump has just communicated that he has the authority to NOT spend any funds he doesn’t deem necessary and will return them to the US Treasury. Planned Parenthood funds? He can either slow walk them for 6 months (Omnibus expiration), or choose to simply not allocate them at all.

These declarations also make some of the funds fungible; meaning interchangeable. This means that if he determines that building the wall on the Southern border is a defense against Human Trafficking, then he can move funds from anywhere else in the DOD allocation and use them to build the wall. Congress is powerless to stop monetary reallocations on an Omnibus bill and cannot intervene or stop the DOD from taking measures under a declared emergency.

President Trump has already indicated that this may be exactly what he will do in his tweet posted days after the signing of the Omnibus bill.

By using the Army Corp of Engineers to build the wall, the labor and materials can be designated as military spending, therefore immune from any congressional or legal interference. Although we all know they will try; and with a few corrupt judges, it may ultimately end up in the Supreme Court. Once there, the case will be decided in his favor as SCOTUS will validate the presidents constitutional authority. Remember, this bill is only valid until September 30, 2018. This means that any money designated in areas of waste can simply be slow-walked for 6 months until the bill expires. In this way; the wall will be built, Planned Parenthood and all of the other wasteful appropriations in the bill get nothing and any unspent dollars go back to the US treasury.

Given the way this appears to be unfolding, Ann Coulter and company may very well find themselves with a large helping of crow laid before them in the coming days!

With about 12,000 residents spread across a few miles of suburban Southern California, Los Alamitos is better known for its good schools and small-town charms than political activism.

But the city now finds itself at the center of a rebellion against California’s “sanctuary” policies, which aim to protect immigrants here illegally as President Trump vows to ramp up deportations.

Los Alamitos leaders on Monday approved an ordinance that exempts their Orange County municipality from Senate Bill 54, a law that took effect Jan. 1 and restricts local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal immigration authorities. It marks a rare effort by a city to challenge the sanctuary movement, which has wide support among elected officials in left-leaning California.

Many cities have faced the ire of Trump and his administration for policies they say are too lenient toward those here illegally. The president slammed San Francisco over its sanctuary law, which he said had allowed a Mexican national who fatally shot a tourist to remain on the streets. And Oakland’s mayor is now the subject of a federal investigation after she sent out an alert warning residents of an immigration sweep.

Los Alamitos, by contrast, is moving in a different direction, with some residents and officials saying they want nothing to do with those policies.

About 160 people showed up to Monday’s regular City Council meeting, a monthly event that rarely draws enough people to fill the 40-seat chamber. Speakers lined up late into the evening to address elected officials, who eventually voted 4 to 1 to approve the ordinance.

“Sometimes things are bigger than we are,” said Mayor Troy D. Edgar.

Cheers erupted inside the chamber after the vote, with some shouting “Patriots!” and “This is a win for America!” as others waved pro-Trump flags.

Councilman Mark A. Chirco was the sole dissenter, suggesting the initiative could expose the city to litigation.

“We disagree with Sacramento on a lot of things. Are we not going to follow state law every time we disagree with them?” he said. “I don’t think that would be prudent.”

It’s unclear how the ordinance will be implemented, and Mayor Pro Tem Warren Kusumoto, who proposed the initiative, said it may end up being largely symbolic.

“Is it going to hold up? I don’t know,” he said.

The Senate Rules Committee on Wednesday appointed the first undocumented resident to a statewide post, according to Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León’s office.

Lizbeth Mateo, a 33-year-old attorney and immigrant rights activist, will serve on the California Student Opportunity and Access Program Project Grant Advisory Committee. The committee advises the California Student Aid Commission on efforts to increase college access for California students from low-income or underserved communities.

According to de León’s office, Mateo graduated from Santa Clara University law School in 2016 and passed the California bar last year.

She was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and came to the United States with her parents when she was 14, according to de León’s office.

National Identity Demands Restrictive Immigration (VIDEO)

Honest onlookers must admit that major segments of society hate America and want to destroy what little remains of a Republic. The intent of forging a limited form of government with distinct separations of power is a major impediment to the culture of collective governance. The Bill of Rights stands in the way of the totalitarian model that globalists advocate. For these proponents of authoritarianism, civil liberties are not based upon natural law, but only exist as a moving target of convenience that disseminates relativism. Open borders and unchecked immigration is designed to pollute the population pool with foreign cultural heritages that have limited historic understanding in the essential tenants that established our country or command in the use of our language. Unobstructed migration hastens the deteriorated demographics that destroy our time-honored society with the inevitable collapse and replacement of constitutional protections.

The concept of the nation-state is under assault by the exponents of a one world government. Ruining the essence of any country is the basic objective of the world-wide implementation of imposing a centralized cultural imperative. Controlling government immigration policy receives varied national push back depending on the homogeneous character and intensity of each country. By eradicating the indigenous intensity and acceptance of preserving their own culture, the forces of societal purging propose a “PC” replacement merging into a restricted mongrelized jurisdiction. Yet, the complexity of this toxic brew never becomes a melting pot and certainly by no means assimilate into the original value system.

When did the political, academic, financial and mass media elites jump off the cliff and betray America? The timing can be argued, but start with The Legacy of the 1965 Immigration Act, which provides a useful resource of the former immigration policies. A brief outline in changes is provided.

The Hart-Celler Act of 1965:

Established the basic structure of today’s immigration law.

Abolished the national origins quota system (originally established in 1921 and most recently modified in 1952), while attempting to keep immigration to a manageable level. Family reunification became the cornerstone of U.S. immigration policy.

Allocated 170,000 visas to countries in the Eastern Hemisphere and 120,000 to countries in the Western Hemisphere. This increased the annual ceiling on immigrants from 150,000 to 290,000. Each Eastern-Hemisphere country was allowed an allotment of 20,000 visas, while in the Western Hemisphere there was no per-country limit. This was the first time any numerical limitation had been placed on immigration from the Western Hemisphere. Non-quota immigrants and immediate relatives (i.e., spouses, minor children, and parents of U.S. citizens over the age of 21) were not to be counted as part of either the hemispheric or country ceiling.

For the first time, gave higher preference to the relatives of American citizens and permanent resident aliens than to applicants with special job skills. The preference system for visa admissions detailed in the law (modified in 1990) was as follows:

1. Unmarried adult sons and daughters of U.S. citizens.


2. Spouses and children and unmarried sons and daughters of permanent resident aliens.


3. Members of the professions and scientists and artists of exceptional ability.


4. Married children of U.S. citizens.


5. Brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens over age twenty-one.


6. Skilled and unskilled workers in occupations for which there is insufficient labor supply.


7. Refugees given conditional entry or adjustment — chiefly people from Communist countries and the Middle East.


8. Applicants not entitled to preceding preferences — i.e., everyone else.

As a paleo-conservative a break with our purist libertarian friends over their immigration position rejects their mistaken reliance that an open borders viewpoint is based upon a moral perspective. Actually the correct ethical imperative for any country is to protect the national identity of its citizens and society. That said, even Bryan Caplan acknowledges a crucial aspect in Why Should We Restrict Immigration?

Protecting American Liberty?

Most immigrants come from countries that are less free than the United States. Since even dictatorships are somewhat responsive to public opinion (Caplan 2008), we should expect immigrants to lean statist. Immigrants fleeing domestic repression might hold atypically libertarian views. But economic migrants presumably share the policy outlook of the typical voter from their country of origin. If enough statists come, won’t our democracy switch to the kinds of policies that immigrants struggle to escape? Economists—or at least economists with strong free-market sympathies—would call this a “political externality.” The only way to protect American liberty, you might conclude, is to strictly limit the liberty of foreigners to enter the country.

This is probably libertarians’ favorite argument against open borders. My own research confirms many of its underlying assumptions. In The Myth of the Rational Voter (Caplan 2007), I conclude that democracies choose bad policies because bad policies are popular, and bad policies are popular because voters have systematically biased beliefs about their effects. Almost all of my evidence admittedly comes from the United States, where high-quality public opinion data are most abundant. Still, if some countries have worse policies than others, the most plausible explanation is that some electorates are more biased than others. Libertarians seem to face a tragic choice between compromising their principles and retaining the liberty they already have.

Conversely, a critique of Samuel P. Huntington in Who Are We? The Challenges to America’s National Identity, Charles R. Kesler in CRB cites a Clash of Civilizations theme in another Huntington book.

“Of course, despite their protestations, multiculturalists do not actually believe that all cultures are equally valid. With a clear conscience, they condemn and reject anti-multiculturalism, not to mention cultures that treat women, homosexuals, and the environment in ways that Western liberals cannot abide. Unless, perchance, such treatment is handed out by groups hostile to America; for Robert’s Rules of Multicultural Order allow peremptory objections against, say, the Catholic Church, that are denied against such as the Taliban. Scratch a multiculturalist, then, and you find a liberal willing to condemn all the usual cultural suspects.”

The multiculturalists have hijacked the heart strings of the manufactured guilt bleeding apologists, who have more in common with Marxist Dreamers than with our Founding Fathers. They are the most atrocious dissimulators of the true consequences from the barbarians and their fifth column allies for busting our borders.

Prolific immigration writer, Frosty Wooldridge pens in the essay, Time to Rescind 1965 Immigration Reform Act, an important assessment that few are willing to face.

“Since our leaders won’t stop this invasion of an ‘unarmed army’ of legal and illegal immigrants, it’s up to you. Our children face a dangerous future if we fail to take action. It wasn’t George Washington who beat the British army. It was every militiaman who shot from fence lines and trees. It wasn’t Ike who won WWII. It was every GI who slung a rifle over his soldier. Susan B. Anthony marched and Dr. Martin Luther King demonstrated. They, in their time, paid the price for defending America so we could enjoy our freedom. This is your time.

Call for rescinding the 1965 Immigration Reform Act. How should we replace it? Answer: total shutdown of all immigration. We don’t need any more immigrants. We cannot sustain any more immigrants. We won’t survive any more immigrants. Create a national debate in every city council, every community and every state in the nation. Let’s save our country before we won’t be able to save it.”

It is obvious that Congress will not repeal of the Hart-Celler Act of 1965. Backed by President Lyndon B. Johnson and Senator Ted Kennedy this single law has produced a debauchery that is destroying our nation. So much for the legacy of Senator Philip A. Hart and Representative Emanuel Celler.

Promoting a historic national identity places one squarely in the sights of the fake news presstitutes and the social cult warriors, who will bait the public into believing that any defender of the real Patriotic Cause is a bigot, a racist or a neo-Nazi. Nothing is further from the explicit record. The multiculturalists despise the Deplorables because they will not buckle to the forces of national betrayal.

Assimilation into our traditional society means that genuine integration requires a basic willingness to BECOME an American and learn what it actually means to be part of this country.

Back in 1834, Lyman Beecher, Leader of the Second Great Awakening, on English immigrants wrote: “What means the paying of the passage and emptying out upon our shores such floods of pauper emigrants — the contents of the poor house and the sweepings of the streets? — multiplying tumults and violence, filling our prisons, and crowding our poor-houses, and quadrupling our taxation, and sending annually accumulating thousands to the poll to lay their inexperienced hand upon the helm of our power?”

Since that era, the country has changed from European centric which is the indispensable foundation in Western Civilization thought and culture. Today the influxes of third world derelicts are rapidly turning America into failed nation-state. Pat Buchanan has it correct, The Suicide of a Superpower Will America Survive to 2025 is expeditiously approaching.

L.A. Mayor ‘Not Scared At All’ of Being Arrested for Sanctuary City Status

WASHINGTON – Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said he is “not scared at all” about the Department of Justice considering charges against local officials in sanctuary cities, calling it a “weak and pathetic move.”

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen recently told a Senate committee hearing that DOJ is “reviewing what avenues might be available” to charge local officials who do not fully cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

“The context of this is, of course, not only putting my [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] officers at risk, but also finding an efficient and effective way to enforce our immigration laws,” she said.

During an interview with Fox News, Acting ICE Director Tom Homan recently said, “We’ve got to take [sanctuary cities] to court, and we’ve got to start charging some of these politicians with crimes.”

PJM asked Garcetti if he is worried about potentially facing federal charges.

“Not at all. I think it’s a political circus. I think it’s about stirring up, you know, blowing a dog whistle – not about anything real. There’s not a single document we’ve ever cut back, and they know that. There’s not a single city in America that has done that, so it was kind of a weak and pathetic move and I’m not scared at all,” Garcetti told PJM during an interview at the U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting recently.

Garcetti was referring to DOJ requesting records from Los Angeles and other cities pertaining to their compliance with federal immigration law.

When asked if there are federal statutes that he thinks DOJ would be able to use against his city, Garcetti replied, “Nope. They can do it [withdraw federal funds] but we’ll probably get those funds because it’s probably going to be thrown out by courts as it has been now. We coordinate and cooperate with our federal authorities. We can’t break the Constitution, though, and that’s what some of their requirements have asked us to do.

 

Democratic Mayor J. Christian Bollwage of Elizabeth, N.J., the fourth largest city in the state, explained that illegal immigrants who are arrested and accused of certain crimes like burglary are processed and released immediately in N.J. He compared DOJ’s threat to charge local officials to a fascist regime.

“The city of Elizabeth is not a sanctuary city, but it really scares me that the Department of Justice would send out subpoenas or arrest warrants for mayors who are performing their duty with respect to whatever their constituency is. So the threat of that reminds me of either a fascist regime or a strong dictatorship, and the United States has not moved in that direction, I believe,” he told PJM. “So therefore, it would strike me as extremely difficult to implement. And I hope when they say that, the Department of Justice, it was thrown as a way of fodder to say, ‘hey, we need to get you to start helping us.’”

Bollwage said anyone in his city who commits a crime of third degree or higher would likely go to jail, but undocumented immigrants accused of lesser offenses would be processed after their arrest and released.

“We are not a sanctuary city because there are times when outside agencies require our help and we are going to be helpful. In New Jersey, the issue of immigration does not really play into the county jails,” he said. “It doesn’t happen because if you get picked up for a violation and you are an undocumented immigrant, you are going to go to the local jail and with bail reform in New Jersey, you are not even going to be held if you’ve committed a traffic accident or something and you have no papers. Under bail reform in New Jersey, you are not even going to be held. You are let go immediately.”

85 Percent of Black Americans Want Less Immigration, 79 Percent of Whites Agree

African Americans are the Racial Group Most Opposed to Immigration.

A new Harvard-Harris poll shows that 85 percent of black Americans want a reduction in immigration levels to 1 million or lower.  Also interesting: more Americans favored zero immigration, than wanted to increase immigration levels.

For context, in 2017 over 1.4 million legal immigrants arrived in America, while the number of illegals is unknown.

This means that black Americans—not white as is commonly stated—are the racial group most opposed to immigration.  The Washington Free Beaconsummarizes the report’s findings nicely:

The plurality of respondents, 35 percent, think that there should be between 1 and 250,000 legal immigrants arriving to the United States per year. A net 12 percent want to see immigration increased to 1.5 million people per year or more, while nine percent of Americans think that there should be no new legal immigrants.

Plurality preference for between 1 and 250,000 new immigrants a year persists across white, Hispanic, and black Americans, as well as moderates and self-identified Democrats. . .

Americans prefer a system of prioritizing would-be legal immigrants based on their ability to contribute, based on their education and skills, over one based on immigrants having relatives in the United States, 79 to 21 percent. That includes a majority of white (79 percent), Hispanic (72 percent), and black (85 percent) citizens, as well as majorities of Democrats (72 percent), liberals (65 percent),  and Clinton voters (72 percent).

The poll clearly shows that the majority of Americans are against mass immigration, and that support for this crosses racial and ideological lines.

This is somewhat surprising, as the Democratic Party has positioned itself as the “immigration party”, and is absolutely dedicated to preserving the doctrine of “open borders” at any cost.  However, this position seems untenable in the long run—the voter base eventually catches up to the rhetoric, and at that point the Democrats will be finished.

Of course, these findings are consistent with other polling done on the topic of immigration.  For example, research done by Pulse Opinion Research found that voters in “swing states” favored comprehensive immigration reform by a 3:1 margin—immigration reform is the winning-ticket.

What the data basically shows is that the majority of immigrants are a net drain on the welfare state.  This means that citizens must pay higher taxes in order to support the over-burdened system, and those who already depended upon the system are hurt.  Likewise, immigrants compete with Americans for jobs—particularly at the lower end of the employment spectrum, ie. black Americans.

You can have a welfare state, or open borders—never both.  Most Americans, black, white, and Hispanic know this.  It’s a shame our leaders don’t.

Democrats Reject Trump’s Amnesty Framework, Seek Alliance With GOP’s Business Wing

Democratic Senators are rejecting President Donald Trump’s four-part amnesty-and-immigration reform, and are instead working with business-first GOP Senators to pass an amnesty with only token reforms.

“There is not likely to be a DACA deal, though we’re working every single day, on telephone calls and person to person, to try to reach this bipartisan agreement,” Sen. Dick Durbin told Jake Tapper on the February 4 edition of CNN’s State of the Union. Durbin said the Democrats would not stage another shutdown, but declared:

I think we’re making real progress. I want to salute the moderates in both the Republicans and Democratic caucuses in the Senate. They have really been a positive voice, Democrats and Republicans sitting in the same room working to try to solve this problem.

The Democrats’ sharp-elbowed rejection of Trump’s four-part plan — including an amnesty for at least 1.8 million illegals — explains Trump’s Friday complaints that Democrats are not bargaining over his four-part framework offer. The offer trades the amnesty in exchange for a border wall with legal upgrades, plus ending the diversity lottery and winding down the chain migration program over the next 10 years.

On Friday, February 2, Trump told reporters:

I would say we want to make a deal.  I think they want to use it for political purposes, for elections.  I really don’t — I really am not happy with the way it’s going from the standpoint of the Democrats negotiating.

Trump does not seem to be dropping any of his three asks in the closed-door talks. On January 2, for example, Trump attending a public briefing on border security issues, where officials described the legal loopholes used by migrants to get through the border. Trump responded:

These are things you can’t even negotiate.  I mean, you can’t negotiate this with the Democrats, because this is stuff for safety.  And it’s not like, “Oh, gee, let’s, you know, work a halfway deal.”  You have such bad — you have such bad [border] procedures.  You’re forced to do everything that you people were taught not to do, when you think about it.

If Trump wants to keep his proposal on track, he should promise to veto the Democrats’ push to pass an amnesty with token “border security” upgrades, said Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations at NumbersUSA.
