Mayors from seven major French cities overwhelmed by the flow of migrants have written a joint letter to Paris published in LeMondeon Saturday, begging the government to step in and help.
According to the letter, the cities of Lille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Rennes, Toulousa and Nantes are taking in “several thousand” refugees per month, which the mayors say is causing a social emergencyas they are “backed up against a wall” and “completely saturated”by a seemingly endless flood of asylum seekers.
The year 2017 ends with a massive rise in the demand for asylum and the arrival of newcomers puts extreme tension – particularly with the onset of the cold wave – of the classic public and institutional policies. In a proportion never before known, the mechanisms allocated to housing asylum seekers, led by the State, often with the support of our communities, are indeed completely saturated, despite the steady increase the number of places … The evidence is there, before our eyes, in our streets, in homes and shelters: there is urgency.
Every month, several thousand people arrive in our cities. Integrating those recognized as refugees and helping those who have lost their right of asylum who still remain in our territory is a major issue. –Le Monde (translated)
The mayors point to a lack of shelters, and call on Paris to establish a “solidarity network” between the cities of France dedicated to addressing the flow of migrants, as well as an “enlarged meeting with the state at the highest level,” which the mayors say must act quickly by assuming its sovereign powers to “finance these developed actions and propose a clarified framework of work with the communities for a real plan of reception of the migrants.”
In other words – Paris needs to step up and dedicate more money and housing towards the migrant crisis.
In response to the letter, the French Interior Ministry proposed a resettlement scheme which would result in the relocation of some 20,000 housing units, “broken down regionally” to ensure “distribution balanced” refugees and mobilization of donors, reports AFP.
In addition, the authorities asked the prefects to establish “mobile teams” responsible for the identification of migrants in emergency accommodation, much to the chagrin of the associations. (Midecins du Monde, Emmaus, …) who denounce a logic of “census, labeling and triage”. –AFP (translated)
As anyone who listened to the French Presidential debates gathered, France knows it’s got a massive problem with migrants. In October, after a 29 year old undocumented Tunisian man stabbed two women to death in the Southern city of Marseille, French President Emmanuel Macron revealed a new policy whereby illegal immigrants who commit crimes in France will face deportation.
“Even without new legislation we can take tougher measures and expel illegal immigrants if they commit a crime, whatever it may be,”Macron said.
France has been heavily affected by the migrant crisis. After an October 2016 relocation of some 6,000 migrants from the Calais “Jungle” camp across Europe, new asylum seekers continue to pour into the country and set up makeshift camps. Many migrants are sleeping on the streets of Paris, begging for money and angering local residents and sparking sanitary concerns. Last week, a group of Parisian protesters threatened to go on a hunger strike if police didn’t relocate approximately 100 Syrian and Afghan migrants from a northern Paris neighborhood.
Normally this topic is covered “gingerly,” and with the 1st Amendment of the Constitution having been “subverted” by political-social “correctness” doctrines, it is sure to draw unwanted attention. Europe is the prime example of what is coming to the United States. Countries such as Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France…the heart of Warrior-Crusader Europe in Medieval times…have absolutely kowtowed to what is nothing less than a Muslim invasion. This modern invasion makes Saladin’s armies pale in comparison.
The news is reporting the “giveaway” of traditionally Christian lands of European states to Muslim aliens crossing borders ceaselessly: on foot, by train, by plane, by car…by boat. This is a mass exodus in all directions, targeting all nations. Oligarchs such as Soros, and Politicos such as Merkel are fostering this exodus, backed up by the International Court of The Hague.
The socialist-progressives want to destroy the ethnic homogeneity and religion, language, and culture of these nations to usher in globalism with the goal of “railing in and controlling” the Islamist extremists later (an “organizing the organized” strategy of Alinsky).
It will backfire on them. The Islamists will come in and establish a foothold, and anyone that does not submit among the “unbelievers” (the al-Harb, as non-Muslims are called) will be dealt with. Dar al-Harb is the “house of war,” phonetically translated from the Arabic. Take note of a close similarity to dal al-Garb, or “house of the west.” The two are interchangeable, due to the philosophy/doctrine that holds for jihad, or “Holy War,” an institution of warfare meant to extend the rule of Islam into the dar-al-harb…into the lands of the gentile unbelievers.
Guess what? They’re doing it. America is beset from within by communists and socialists under the guise of “progressivism” who wish to completely destroy the borders, language, and culture of the United States. Their plan to use Alinsky’s “organizing the organized” and then deal with the Islamists later?
It is being used by the Islamists on them, in reverse.

Read this, between commenters “Raj” (the Islamist) and “Yoda Dunbar” (the Christian). The first comment (posted by Raj) was highly profane and “disguised/propped up” with intentional misspelling. We’ll skip it, and proceed to the important parts (complete with pictures):
Raj to Yoda Dunbar: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.” [Photo posted by Raj]
Yoda Dunbar to Raj: “You can have all the mosques, etc you like we have the most High God, His Son and the Holy Ghost, we don’t need anymore than that
We pray for your soul to find true salvation, it won’t be granted by terror or intimidation, by pure repentance, get on your knees and ask for forgiveness and to repent, when you do that get back to me, there is more on salvation, you are not ready for the rest.”
Raj to Yoda Dunbar: “There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe – without swords, without guns, without conquests. The 50 million Muslims of Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.” [Photo posted by Raj]
Yoda Dunbar to Raj: “Guess you have forgotten the crusades, what is it with you people, the World is amazing, yet your kind seems hell bent on making it like it is where you came from, hell Holes, and that is why you are fleeing, instead of being grateful to a Nation for helping you and your kind out, you are angry, all the time too, why so angry? Compare your false entity, he calls for World domination, beheadings, raping little children and women, imposing taxes on those who won’t convert, slavery, the list is long of the abominable thoughts and wished of your entity, whereas our God, tells us to do nothing, he gave us free will, he wants us to love one another like brothers and sisters, he doesn’t want anyone raped, esp children, in the Bible he clearly says, suffer the little children to come unto me. Raj to Yoda Dunbar: “It’s a conquest like never before. Conquest of Europe and Canada and then of USA and Australia. European and Canadian don’t need visa to go to USA and Australia. Europe and Canada will be a stepping stone to USA and Australia.”
These comments are telling. You have each side telling the other about the superiority of its own side. The difference? The difference is plainly evident. Yoda Dunbar is simply didactic, whereas Raj mentions Islam but is telling Yoda Dunbar what the Islamists will do and what they are doing. He’s giving it to us! By “us,” I mean Americans…exactly what they are doing and planning…with emphasis on the “doing” part! You’re not going to win a religious argument with those who not only believe in what they believe…but will strap dynamite to themselves and self-detonate…within the midst of the “prayer brunch” at the local Christian church.
True Believer by Eric Hoffer covers it all…for those on both sides believing in something more for the sake of establishing an “identity” for themselves and assuring a pulpit with which to peddle ignorance.
The only countries that are fighting the influx in Europe are Italy, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary, and they are under the siege of The Hague (the Court mentioned earlier), as well as having cretins within their own populations trying to destroy their nations from within, as with our nation. In the United States, there is a carefully-constructed policy of ensconcing all of the Islamist extremism and Sharia law into the schools, the universities, and local and state government. They are doing it, and not simply allowing it to happen. We are allowing it to happen, and should not be surprised to wake up one morning to find the United States in a battlefield from coast to coast.
The churches collect their tithes and percentages to fund an ongoing organization and keep everyone under control to the church hierarchies and whatever government is enabling their 501-C-3 tax status. The churches only interests are to preserve their establishments and enable tax-free salaries and profits under the “non-profit” shield. The churches buy property (such as abandoned movie theaters) and expand…not for religious growth, but for growth of the organization.
The Muslims buy property, too…and fill them with guns and train the youth in the Madrasas to hate the west and to die for Islam.
The extremists can deny it all they want, but the bottom line is this: any land held by the Muslims and then lost to the “al-Harb” is considered a disgrace in the eyes of their Allah and must be retaken back. That applies not just to countries conquered, as in Spain and Portugal during the Middle Ages. That applies to places purchased…any piece of ground dwelt upon or with a mosque upon. Make no mistake: this is a war of conquest of a different kind.
The kind where the conquerors are “invited” in and are conquering lands held by those too blind to realize what is happening until it is too late.
This constitutes just one more threat, along with the fostered civil strife and political discord in the U.S. domestically. Next will most likely be the upholding of the “State of Aztlan,” and the “Reconquista” will be pushed to get the illegals from Central and South America and Mexico into the fray. Gutting the country from within and weakening it, and setting it up for the “Sunday Punch” of a foreign attack. The new emphasis: time for the media and the democrats to initiate the gun-grab…the firearms are the only thing stopping them. All on the march toward globalism.

That’s how long it took for Canadian Prime Minister and liberal hero Justin Trudeau to realize his promise to welcome all immigrants and refugees to Canada may have been a little short-sighted. After the prime minister proudly proclaimed on Twitter back in January that Canada would welcome all those fleeing “persecution and war,” the prime minister changed his tone this week when he warned refugees crossing into Canada from the US that sneaking into the country illegally wouldn"t fast-track the process of granting asylum.

In the months that have passed since Trudeau made his famous promise, the number of refugees streaming over the border into the Canadian province of Quebec surged dramatically, straining local resources available to process their claims of asylum and provide necessities like food and shelter. The asylum seekers are primarily Haitians who fear that the Trump administration might revoke a special protected status implemented after the 2010 earthquake.
Here’s Trudeau, who was speaking at - of all places - a news conference before Montreal’s Pride parade:
"If I could directly speak to people seeking asylum, I"d like to remind them there"s no advantage," Trudeau said at a news conference Sunday in Montreal.
"Our rules, our principles and our laws apply to everyone."
Trudeau also stressed that anyone seeking refugee status will have to go through Canada"s "rigorous" screening process.
The surge of migrants has overwhelmed both the Canadian legal system and the capabilities of local agencies tasked with aiding refugees. We reported earlier this month that Canada sent soldiers to a popular crossing site in upstate New York to help build a small encampment for newly arriving refugees. But beads have quickly filled up. According to CBC News, more than 3,800 people walked over the border into the province during the first two weeks of August, compared to the 2,996 who crossed throughout all of July.
As CBC notes, Unlike in the United States, Haitians have no special status in Canada, and about half of Haitians seeking refugee status in Canada have already been denied during the past couple of years.
Trudeau critic Michelle Rempel said the Canadian government too willingly ignored the brewing refugee crisis on its doorstep, and continues to play down the need to deal with the problem.
“Conservative immigration critic Michelle Rempel said Trudeau is downplaying the urgent need to deal with the surge in people crossing the border.
"They knew it was going to be a problem this summer. And their response has been building tent cities on the U.S./Canada border," she said in an interview with CBC News."
Too help alleviate the problem, Rempel says the federal government should increase funding for the IRB, the board that evaluates all asylum claims. Even before the surge at the border, the IRB was hopelessly backlogged, ensuring that claimants could remain in the country in a legal limbo while they waited for their hearing.
Allowing the department to process claims more quickly would remove this incentive for asylum seekers to cross illegally.
Still, given his professed love for immigration and multiculturalism, we wonder just how far Trudeau will go to stanch the tide of refugees. Will there be more soldiers and more camps? Or will Trudeau hire an army of claims processers to start kicking people out of the country – or at least ensure that those allowed to remain deserve to do so?
One thing"s for sure: He"s going to need to do something.
I know that the headline sounds over the top, but this has actually been confirmed by German intelligence and by the mainstream media. ISIS terrorists have been using the refugee program to sneak into North America and Europe, and yet very little is being done to stop this from happening. One of the reasons why this hits so close to home for me is because leftists are pushing to bring a lot more Islamic refugees up here to north Idaho. Since our area has a low population density, a significant number of refugees could dramatically alter the character of our community very rapidly. Many moved up here in order to have a safe place to raise their families, but now the left seems determined to bring the danger of Islamic extremism to our local neighborhoods.
Refugees typically have little or no paperwork, and it can be exceedingly difficult to tell a terrorist apart from a non-terrorist. German intelligence has discovered that ISIS has been using this confusion to smuggle “hit squads” and “sleeper cells” into Germany…
German intelligence services have evidence that “hit squads” from the Islamic State terror group have infiltrated the country disguised as refugees, the deputy head of Bavaria’s spy agency told the BBC Thursday.
“We have to accept that we have hit squads and sleeper cells in Germany,” Manfred Hauser, the vice president of the Bavaria region’s intelligence gathering agency, BayLfV, told the Today program.
“We have substantial reports that among the refugees there are hit squads. There are hundreds of these reports, some from refugees themselves. We are still following up on these, and we haven’t investigated all of them fully,” said Hauser.
Did you catch that?
German intelligence says that there are literally “hundreds” of reports of ISIS hit squads being among the refugees.
And CNN has reported that two of the Islamic extremists that were involved in the Paris attack last November entered Europe through the refugee program…
In the aftermath of the Paris attack in November, authorities revealed that two of the attackers — who blew themselves up outside the Stade de France — entered Europe through Greece using fake Syrian passports and posing as refugees. They were accompanied by two other alleged ISIS operatives who were held briefly by Greek authorities, released a month later, then re-arrested in the aftermath of the attack, as detailed by CNN.
Cases like this — and the arrests Tuesday in Germany — emphasize what is a difficult reality facing European law enforcement: ISIS has used migrant routes to ferry operatives into Europe, and some of those operatives may still be in hiding.
CNN is about as politically correct as you can get, and even they are admitting that this is a major problem.
In addition, a very large percentage of Islamic refugees hold deeply anti-Semitic views. According to the Jerusalem Post, one study found that more than half of all Muslim refugees have anti-Semitic attitudes…
“More than half of Muslim asylum seekers showed clear tendencies of an antisemitic attitude pattern,” wrote the authors of the 201-page study examined by The Jerusalem Post.
When asked by the investigators if “Jews have too much influence in the world,” 52% of Syrians said yes, while 53% of Iraqis agreed with the statement. Nearly 60% of Afghans said Jews wield too much influence, while a mere 5.4% of those from Eritrea – a Christian-majority country – held antisemitic views. Some Eritreans said they were familiar with Jews from the Bible.
Here in north Idaho, we have many wonderful Jewish people, and there is no place for that kind of hatred in our communities. Do we really want our Jewish neighbors to live in constant fear that they could be attacked?
And law enforcement personnel are often targets as well. For example, a 46-year-old Islamic refugee just tried to decapitate a police officer in Kennewick, Washington just a few days ago…
A 46-year-old Somali refugee identified as Hussein Hassan attacked a police officer in Kennewick, Washington, over the weekend with a large sword, striking at the officer’s head before he was shot and killed.
A spokesman for the police said two officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at 6:38 p.m. Sunday about a man walking down Olympia Street near 10th Avenue armed with a sword.
The two officers arrived on the scene at the same time in separate cars at about 6:40 p.m. One officer got out of his car to confront Hassan and police say the man started swinging the sword, striking the officer at least once in the head with the blade.
Both officers opened fire on the suspect and put him down.
Three boys, ages 14, 10, and 7, were charged in the case. The older boys, brothers, are from Eritrea, an African country, while the younger boy is from Iraq. The boys are from refugee families, but it is unclear how long they had been in the community.
What is known is that one of the boys touched the girl inappropriately inside the apartment complex’s laundry facilities. Another boy recorded the assault on a phone.
One boy pleaded guilty to felony exploitation of a child and misdemeanor battery. A second boy pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting felony lewd conduct and aiding and abetting misdemeanor battery. The third boy pleaded guilty to accessory to the commission of a felony.
So why would the left want to inflict this kind of pain on our communities?
Well, the real reason is because Muslims are five times more likely to vote for Democrats than they are for Republicans…
When it comes to political and social views, Muslims are far more likely to identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party (66%) than the Republican Party (13%) and to say they prefer a bigger government providing more services (67%) over a smaller government providing fewer services (25%). And about half of U.S. Muslims (52%) now say homosexuality should be accepted by society, up considerably from 2011 (39%) and 2007 (27%).
If I am elected to Congress, I am going to push for legislation that would allow local communities all over the United States to opt out of the refugee program.

It was reported by Aamer Madhani, a White House reporter under Barack Hussein Obama’s criminal administration, that big city mayors have vowed to defy the law and President Donald Trump regarding sanctuary cities harboring illegal aliens.
Aamer reported, “As you may know, back in Jan 26, 2017 several big city mayors across the U.S. vowed to defy President Trump’s executive order that threatens to cut off federal funding to cities that offer some sort of protection to illegal immigrants in their communities.”
The question is, how did they approve the funding in the first place?
Furthermore, the Law does not protect illegal aliens. It prosecutes them.
Aamer continued, “The pushback came from these mayors came as Trump signed a long-anticipated executive order that directs the government to identify federal money it can withhold to punish so-called ‘sanctuary cities.’”
Since when did the federal government receive delegated authority from the American people to take their tax money and reallocate it to cities that are harboring illegal aliens?
Aamer added, “If you remember, Trump had pledged to take action against sanctuary cities on the campaign trail.”
“But as Trump announced the order — as well as action to build a wall along the U.S-Mexico border and hire thousands of new border patrol agents and immigration officers — leaders of some of the nation’s biggest cities flatly stated they would not cooperate with the president,” Aamer wrote.
And you need to ask why. This is not Trump against the mayors. This is the mayors working against American Law! And the law exposes the criminal (Romans 3:20).
Aamer reported “In New York, Mayor Bill de Blasio vowed that the action ‘won’t change how we enforce the law in New York City.’”
“De Blasio said that the city has been able to dramatically reduce the crime rate in the nation’s largest city, in part, because relationships the police department has managed to build in immigrant communities,” the report continued. “He added that if Trump follows through with the plan it would mean he’s effectively cutting funding from the New York Police Department.”
In other words, through totalitarian methods, Mayor de Blasio is attempting to use the law against the law. Here, you have the criminal blaming the law for his crimes (1 John 3:12).
“Here in New York City and in cities across the nation, this executive order could in fact undermine public safety and make our neighborhoods less safe,” de Blasio said.
What De Blasio said was that the enforcement of law could undermine public safety. He is the one personally responsible for the undermining of the public’s safety. Was America told that they were under an Islamic threat after September 11, 2001? How does his statement line up with the facts?
There were 68.57 illegal aliens imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in Arizona, compared to 54.06 citizens and legal noncitizens imprisoned for every 100,000 citizens and legal noncitizens.
There were 97.2 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in California, compared to 74.1 citizens and legal noncitizens imprisoned per 100,000 citizen and legal noncitizens.
There were 54.85 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in Florida, compared to 67.8 legal immigrants imprisoned for every 100,000 legal immigrants.
There were 168.75 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in New York, compared to 48.12 legal immigrants imprisoned for every 100,000 legal immigrants.
There were 54.54 illegals imprisoned for every 100,000 illegals in Texas, compared to 65.43 legal immigrants.
“After President Donald Trump signed an executive order exploring cutting off funding to so-called sanctuary cities, mayors on both coasts of the U.S. say their cities will not be bullied,” Aamer reported.
These mayors are the ones that are bullying anyone who does not go along with their lawless objectives. These are Saul Alinsky tactics at their best. They play the victim while perpetuating the crime.
In Boston, Mayor Marty Walsh called the executive order an attack on “Boston’s people, Boston’s strength and Boston’s values.”
“If people want to live here, they’ll live here,” Walsh told reporters at a news conference. “They can use my office. They can use any office in this building.”
Americans should put these criminal actors that masquerade as mayors in jail where they belong, and remind each and every one of them that these buildings belong to “We the people.”
Furthermore no one has the right to desecrate the blood of those who fought, bled and died enforcing the very laws that they are violating.
Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, who has been accused and investigated for sexually molesting minors, said, “We believe we have the rule of law and the courts on our side.”
The opposite is true as I am about to show you.
Mayor of Chicago Rham Emanuel said, “I want to be clear. We’re gonna stay a sanctuary city. There is no stranger among us. We welcome people, whether you’re from Poland or Pakistan, whether you’re from Ireland or India or Israel and whether you’re from Mexico or Moldova, where my grandfather came from, you are welcome in Chicago as you pursue the American Dream.”
San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee told reporters nothing has changed for his city following Trump’s executive order.
“I am here today to say we are still a sanctuary city,” Lee said. “We stand by our sanctuary city because we want everybody to feel safe and utilize the services they deserve, including education and health care.”
Have Americans been inundated by the media’s narrative that there are threats constantly against “We the people”? Who has attacked the rights of Americans more than those who call themselves representatives? No one has.
Here, we have mayors that are committing treason (Article 3, Section 3 of the US Constitution) by opening the doors to those who are sworn enemies to America (Jeremiah 11:9).
A top aide to Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan questioned whether the city even qualified as a sanctuary city.
The U.S. Conference of Mayors and the Major Cities Chiefs Association expressed concern that the executive order is overly vague.
“We call upon the Secretary of Homeland Security to document and promulgate a lawful definition before further actions are taken, so the cities across the Nation may determine how to proceed,” the organization added.
knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;

knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;
(iii)
knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;
(iv)
encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or
(v)
(I)
engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, or
(II)
aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts,
shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).
(B)A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs—
(i)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i) or (v)(I) or in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), or (iv) in which the offense was done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both;
(ii)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;
(iii)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) during and in relation to which the person causes serious bodily injury (as defined in section 1365 of title 18) to, or places in jeopardy the life of, any person, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both; and
(iv)
in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) resulting in the death of any person, be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined under title 18, or both.
The words ‘undocumented immigrants’ might make it seem like they are just ordinary and perfectly legal immigrants missing the relevant documents when in fact they are here in the country illegally. While ‘illegal immigrant’ is a much more accurate term to describe the situation, the dishonest media are starting to paint the usage of the word as racist rhetoric. Simply ridiculous; almost as ridiculous as cities actively not co-operating with national law enforcement agencies. We are talking of course, about sanctuary cities.
In the following video, Right Wing News looks at the ongoing battle surrounding the illegal immigration issue, both from a legal and narrative standpoint. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced that DOJ grants will not be awarded to such cities; if you don’t want to uphold the law, why should you get DOJ funding? It makes perfect sense, but the New York Attorney General has already openly stated that he will continue to not enforce (aka violate) federal laws.
For all the talk on the left about Trump ‘breaking the law’ with the so-called Russian collusion, they seem to have no problems with violating federal laws in this case. Will this hypocrisy ever end?
Moments ago Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a surprise appearance at Sean Spicer’s daily White House press briefing to announce that his DOJ will be taking steps to not only require that so-called “sanctuary cities” enforce federal immigration laws but would also be seeking to claw back past DOJ awards granted to those cities if they refuse to certify compliance.
“Today, I’m urging states and local jurisdictions to comply with these federal laws. Moreover, the Department of Justice will require that jurisdictions seeking or applying for DOJ grants to certify compliance with 1373 as a condition for receiving those awards.”
“This policy is entirely consistent with the DOJ’s Office of Justice Programs guidance that was issued just last summer under the previous administration.”
Sessions also called on states like Maryland and California to scrap their plans for becoming a sanctuary state.
“That would be such a mistake.”
“I would plead with the people of Maryland to understand this makes the state of Maryland more at risk for violence and crime, that it’s not good policy.”

Across America, there are over 300 governmental jurisdictions claiming “sanctuary status.” Of those governments, there are 106 cities, while the rest are states, counties or other units of government.
Under Trump’s order, mayors defending their sanctuary city status are essentially imposing a defiance tax on local residents. On average, this tax amounts to $500 per man, woman and child. Major cities like Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago have the most to lose, and nearly $27 billion is at stake across the country.
Here are the top 10 takeaways from our findings:
1. $26.741 billion in annual federal grants and direct payments flowed into America’s 106 sanctuary cities (FY2016).
2. On average, the cost of lost federal funding for a family of four residing in one of the 106 sanctuary cities is $1,810 – or $454 per person. A total population of 46.2 million residents live in the 106 sanctuary cities according to census data.
3.Washington, D.C., and Chicago, Illinois governments received the highest amount of federal funding per resident and, therefore, have the most to lose by maintaining their sanctuary status.Washington, D.C. municipal government received the highest amount of federal funding on a per capita basis: $3,228 per person; $12,912 per family of four; or $2.09 billion total. The City of Chicago, IL received the second highest amount of federal funding on a per capita basis: $1,942 per person; $7,768 per family of four; or $5.3 billion total.
4. In cities with populations of 100,000 and above, the communities with the least per capita federal dollars ‘at risk’ are St. Paul, Minnesota ($47 per person, $14.2 million total); Downey, California ($36 per person, $4.2 million total) and Miami, Florida ($67 per person, $29.7 million total).
5. $15.983 billion in federal funds flowed into just twelve major American cities where 1 in 5 illegal entrants reside (FY2016).
6. Department of Justice grants to law enforcement – i.e. city police departments – totaled $543.97 million (FY2016). Typically, this funding was only a small percentage of the local law enforcement budgets.
7.$4.23 billion in federal funding of the 106 sanctuary cities flowed via the ‘direct payment’ type. These payments funded municipal services such as housing, education, community development, and schools.
8. $21.5 billion in federal funding of the 106 sanctuary cities flowed via the ‘grant’ payment mechanism. These payments funded local police and fire departments, schools, housing, and city services.
9. In Los Angeles, fully 1 in 5 city residents (22-percent) are illegal entrants. However, the amount of federal funding amounts to only $126 per resident; $504 per family of four; or $502.5 million total.
10. In Newark, New Jersey, 19-percent of city residents are undocumented entrants. However, the amount of federal funding amounts to $733 per resident; $2,932 per family of four; or $206.7 million.
The threat of losing nearly $27 billion in federal funding seems to be having an effect on some cities. In fact, Miami already reversed their sanctuary city policy.

The Trump administration officially put sanctuary cities on notice Monday that they are violating federal laws and could lose access to billions of dollars in Justice Department grants if they continue to thwart efforts to deport illegal immigrants.
And counties and cities that have taken money in the past, despite refusing to cooperate with federal agents, could have that money clawed back, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said. That would mean Chicago, Philadelphia and other prominent sanctuaries would not only lose money going forward, but might have to pay back tens of millions of dollars from their treasuries.
But Mr. Sessions didn’t say when he would actually start withholding money, making his announcement more signal than substance — and leaving Democrats to argue he was trying to change the subject from White House controversies and the failed Obamacare repeal effort on Capitol Hill.
“Countless Americans would be alive today — and countless loved ones would not be grieving today — if the policies of these sanctuary jurisdictions were ended,” Mr. Sessions said from the White House, saying the time is ripe to take action.
Mr. Sessions’ announcement was a reiteration of a policy first announced by the Obama administration last year.
Immigrant rights groups, however, blasted Mr. Sessions, calling him a “bully” and blaming him for poisoning relationships between immigrants and local police.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) joined Lou Dobbs on his Fox Business program and weighed in on the recent ruling against President Trump’s revised travel executive orders. He referenced his experience as a former judge and chief justice and the practice of relying on the facts before the evidence.
Congressman Gohmert stated, “As I understand it, [the ruling] was over 40 pages and delivered in two hours –so he [the judge] must have had his mind made up long before they even had oral arguments on the thing.”

SHADOW GOVERNMENT UPDATE– Barack Obama paid a surprise visit to Honolulu, Hawaii on Monday just days before US District Court Judge Derrick Watson, who presides in Honolulu, ruled against President Trump’s temporary refugee ban from terror states.
Coming off a string of high-profile meetings, former President Barack Obama made an unannounced return to Hawaii Monday.
Just three months removed from his last official holiday visit as president, Obama was spotted dining at Buzz’s Lanikai Monday night.
Local Democrats tried “their best to keep it under wraps the whole day.”
Then on Wednesday President Donald Trump’s revised travel ban was put on hold by US District Court Judge Derrick Watson in Honolulu, Hawaii after hearing arguments that the executive order discriminates on the basis of nationality.
Judge Watson believes Somalis and Yemenis have the same constitutional rights as American citizens.
UPDATE: Also — the judge, one Judge Watson, managed to produce a 43-page decision within two hours of the case being filed. Speedy guy, huh!

In a bill aimed at encouraging asylum seekers to leave voluntarily, Austrian lawmakers are considering halting the provision of food and accommodation to migrants who are denied asylum and refuse to leave the country.
Austria took in roughly 90,000 asylum seekers in 2015, more than 1 percent of its population, as it was swept up in Europe"s migration crisis when hundreds of thousands of people crossed its borders, most on their way to Germany. As Reuters notes, it has since tightened immigration restrictions and helped shut down the route through the Balkans by which almost all those people - many of them fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and elsewhere - arrived. Asylum applications fell by more than half last year.
Asylum seekers in Austria get so-called basic services, including free accommodation, food, access to medical treatment and 40 euros ($42.41) pocket money a month.
But now, Austria"s centrist coalition government on Tuesday agreed on a draft law which would allow authorities to stop providing accommodation and food to rejected asylum seekers who refuse to leave the country.
“The first thing is basically that they don’t get anything from the Austrian state if they don’t have the right to stay here. Is that so hard to understand?”
As Politico reports, Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka said, said the law, which will need approval by parliament, was designed to encourage rejected asylum seekers to leave voluntarily.
According to the minister, some 4,000 people receive basic services but should have left the country. Of those, around half could be affected if the law is passed because they are deemed healthy enough to travel to their home countries.
Most rejected asylum seekers in Austria in 2016 were from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria. Asylum applicants who lie about their identities face a €5,000 fine or three weeks in jail.
The Austrian office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said the bill was "highly questionable" and urged lawmakers to think hard about agreeing to it.
(ANTIMEDIA) Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, the politician who previously accused the U.S. of arming ISIS, is still calling on the U.S. government to stop its disastrous regime change policies in the Middle East.
According to a press release made public on Tuesday, Gabbard has again called for the U.S. to stop aiding terrorists like al-Qaeda and ISIS. Gabbard’s guest at the presidential address to Congress, a Kurdish refugee activist, also called for an end to the U.S. policy of “regime change in Syria.”
“In the face of unimaginable heartbreak, Tima has been a voice for the voiceless, a champion for refugees worldwide, and a strong advocate for ending the regime change war in Syria. Iam honored to welcome her to Washington tonight as we raise our voices to call on our nation’s leadersto end the counterproductive regime change war in Syriathat has caused great human suffering, refugees, loss of life, and devastation. We urge leaders in Congress to pass theStop Arming Terrorists Actand end our destructive policy of using American taxpayer dollars to provide direct and indirect support to armed militants allied with terrorist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria, who are fighting to overthrow the Syrian government.”
Gabbard also reportedly told Russian state-owned news station RT:
“For years, our government has been providing both direct and indirect support to these armed militant groups, who are working directly with or under the command of terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, all in their effort and fight to overthrow the Syrian government.”
The activist, Tima Kurdi, is more widely known as the aunt of a three-year-old boy who drowned on the shores of Turkey in September 2015. The image went viral on social media and was easily manipulated by the mainstream media to further the United States’ agenda in the region, never once laying blame to the U.S. military establishment for spending over $1 billion a year arming Syrian rebels.
According to the press release, Kurdi said the following:
“I am proud to stand with Tulsi and support her work to end regime change war in Syria. My people have suffered for more than six years—enough is enough. Tulsi understands that arming the so-called “rebels” in Syria has only led to more bloodshed, more suffering, and created more refugees. A military solution in Syria is not the answer.I hope that President Trump will stop arming terrorists and commit to a political solution in Syria—it is the only way to restore peace.”
Gabbard came under fire earlier this year when she took a secretive trip to Syria and met with President Assad, as well as a number of other people on the ground. The fact that her proposed policies have the backing of the relative of the drowned Syrian refugee — whose images the media exploited in 2015 to advance the western narrative against Assad — should speak volumes about the efficacy of Gabbard’s approach. Despite this, the media hardly pays heed to Gabbard’s ideas.
In 2014, PBS ran a report in which they interviewed Syrian rebels who had been trained by the CIA at a camp in Qatar. According to one of the fighters:
“They trained us to ambush regime or enemy vehicles and cut off the road…They also trained us on how to attack a vehicle, raid it, retrieve information or weapons and munitions, andhow to finish off soldiers still alive after an ambush.” [emphasis added]
The latter emboldened section is a blatant war crime and is also the standard operating procedure for ISIS. Regardless of the banner these rebels operate under, this is a terrorist tactic, and it is ultimately what American taxpayer dollars have been doing in Syria.
Last week, Donald Trump said, while giving a speech on the impending doom that will result if the US government allows Muslims from his list of seven countries into the United States, that Sweden was the subject of some non-existent security event involving Muslims.
“You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden, they took in large numbers, they are having problems like they never thought possible,” Trump said at the rally.
However, according to Sweden officials, nothing happened in Sweden.
According to Business Insider, the allegation sent pundits and political observers scrambling to find evidence of any such incident in Sweden — and they came up empty. Swedish foreign ministry spokeswoman Catarina Axelsson said her office contacted the US state department for clarification. Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt even chimed in, mocking Trump’s dubious claim on Twitter.
“Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound,” Bildt said.
Later, trump would admit that his erroneous comments on Sweden came from a report he saw on FOX News.
“My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden,” Trump tweeted on Sunday.
In case you’ve missed the rabid fear-mongering about the influx of Muslim refugees, supposed ‘think tanks’ and ‘institutes’ have put out unverified numbers claiming the refugees are raping and pillaging the citizens of Sweden — en masse.
However, according to the Swedish government, there has been no such spike in rape or crime and these numbers are at a 20-year low.
Of course, government is not always honest and there is certainly a chance they could be covering up some of these attacks. However, there is also no evidence to support some of the outlandish claims of thousands of rapes a day. The Free Thought Project suspects the truth may be somewhere in the middle.
However, if you plan on getting that truth from FOX News, you should think again.
On Thursday’s edition of The O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly brought on a guest named Nils Bildt, who was introduced as “a Swedish defense and national security advisor,” to discuss Sweden’s refugee policies.
During the segment, Bildt argued that Swedish authorities “are unable … to socially integrate” refugees, and claimed that, as a result, “There is a problem with socially deviant activity, there is a problem with crime, [and] there is a problem with areas or hotspots of crime” in Sweden.
Bildt alleged that these “problems” are“not being openly and honestly discussed … because if you don’t agree with the liberal, shall we say, common agenda, then you are viewed as an outsider or not even taken seriously.”
Sounds rational enough, right?
However, let’s consider just who Nils Bildt is. According to the Swedish newspaper, Dagens Nyheter, Marie Pisäter at the Swedish Defense Ministry says that no-one called Nils Bildt works there. ”We have no spokesman by that name,” she said. The Foreign Office also denies that he works there. ”We do not know who he is.”
According to DN, Nils Bildt is the son of Sven Tolling, well known in Swedish equestrian circles. Nils Bildt emigrated from Sweden in 1994. Nine years later, he changed his last name from Tolling to Bildt, and he now runs several security companies in the United States. His last known address, according to Swedish registers, is in Tokyo. It is unclear if his companies are still in business.

Bildt has himself been convicted of a violent offense in the US and was given a one-year prison sentence in 2014, according to Dagens Nyheter, which cited documents from Arlington General District Court in Virginia.
When news broke that Bilt was not who he claimed to be on FOX, he wrote an email selling out the editors who incorrectly referred to him using the title of advisor.
“I participated in Bill O’Reilly’s show on Fox News. I had no control over the choice of title, which was made by Fox News’ editor. I am an independent analyst based in the USA,” wrote Bildt.
In this hostile environment, finding the truth is essential to maintaining peace. However, it seems, FOX News, at least Bill O’Reilly, has no interest in the truth.

In what some might call a "win" for President Trump, Canadian immigration officials warn they are experiencing a "big surge [of refugees] coming across the border" with many of them proclaiming their distrust and fear of President Trump.
Sherali and Sarah Shah took in three asylum seekers who had been trying to get into Canada through the Emerson, Man., border Tuesday.
In the first official report of a group of "asylum seekers" who are malcontent refugees in the U.S. trying to become refugees in Canada being apprehended, U.S. border security guards and a local sheriff caught three Somali nationals trying to sneak across an open stretch of the U.S.-Canada border on Tuesday, according to CBC News.
Kris Grogan, a public affairs officer for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said border officials on the U.S. side are becoming increasingly worried about asylum seekers trying to get into Canada.
"It is extremely dangerous to be putting yourself out into these elements where you could end up dying," he said.
As CBC News first reported in January,hundreds of asylum seekers have walked into Canada through fields near the Emerson border.
The issue came into the spotlight after two refugees from Ghana were hospitalized in Winnipeg after suffering frostbite on Christmas Eve while lost on Highway 75, near the Canada-U.S. border.
The refugees were so badly frostbitten, they lost fingers and toes. Since the story of the two men became public, dozens of other asylum seekers, including a mother and two-year-old child, have crossed into Manitoba.
As AFP reports,Farhan Ahmed hoped to find refuge in the United States after fleeing death threats in Somalia, but fear over a US crackdown on immigration sent him on another perilous journey -- to Canada.
The 36-year-old was among nearly two dozen asylum seekers who braved bone-chilling cold on a February weekend to walk across the border, trudging through snow-covered prairies in the dead of night to make a claim in this country.
It was a record number of arrivals for a single weekend in the small border town of Emerson, and Canadian officials said Thursday they are bracing for more.
An agreement with the US prevents asylum seekers from lodging claims in Canada if they first landed stateside, but it only applies to arrivals at border checkpoints, airports and train stations.
Rita Chahal, executive director of the Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council, described a "big surge coming across the border." According to Canada"s Border Services Agency, numbers have roughly doubled in each of the last four years to 321 cases in fiscal 2015-2016. Since April, there have been 403 cases.
People often come from Djibouti, Ghana, Nigeria and Somalia, said Chahal, whose agency works out of a building designed by a top Canadian architect who was once himself a refugee.
The numbers are high, but the risky routes asylum seekers take are also alarming. "They"re crossing through farmers" fields. Many of them are getting lost," Chahal said. The recent arrivals, she said, tell a common story: ""We"re afraid of what"s happening in the United States, we"re not sure what"s going to happen if I get sent back to my country.""
Samatar Adam, 30, from Djibouti, arrived last month. Asked why he did not file a refugee claim in the US, he replied: "Donald Trump." He left soon after the inauguration. "It saddens me to see refugees flee not only their country but also a safe, democratic country like the United States," said the Immigration Partnership Winnipeg"s Hani Al-Ubeady, himself an Iraqi refugee who now helps resettle others.
"They have to take another risky journey to make it to another safe place -- Canada."
As a reminder, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to Donald Trump’s immigration ban by saying Canada welcomes refugees who have been rejected from the US.
“To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada,” he tweeted.
And now it"s Canada"s problem? Will protesters blockade the northern border demanding US refugees stay in America? Will virtue-signaling have to be turned up to "11"? For now it seems Canada"s "safe spaces" are safer than America"s "safe spaces."

It’s crystal clear now, for all to see, how the mainstream media operates. From the “sources inside” references, which almost always remain unnamed, to the provocative slant it chooses to use when covering any story involving President Donald Trump.
While there is certainly no shortage of reasons to disagree with Trump, the mainstream media has flooded the infosphere with so much fake news, that reality and truth are nearly extinct.
Take, for instance, the telephone conversation Trump had on Saturday the 28th of January, with Australian Malcom Turnbull. Starting with the piece by Greg Miller and Phillip Rucker, a slurry of negative words describing Trump’s behavior while on the phone call with Turnbull. Trump’s behavior was described as having “blasted” the PM, and Trump reportedly “boasted” about his win over Hillary Clinton.
Later, the two writers stated Trump called the conversation “the worst” he’d had with other world leaders and said it was the “worst deal” for the U.S. which reportedly involved the resettling of over 1200 more refugees from Australia.
Breaking with journalistic optimism, the pair of Washington Reporters wrote, “The characterizations provide insight into Trump’s temperament and approach to the diplomatic requirements of his job as the nation’s chief executive, a role in which he continues to employ both the uncompromising negotiating tactics he honed as a real estate developer and the bombastic style he exhibited as a reality television personality.”

After Miller and Rucker’s story was published, the rest of the mainstream media seemed to jump onto the bandwagon which attempted to portray the sitting U.S. president as a type of cry-baby, someone who cannot control his emotions, actions, or words, and as an individual which is severely difficult to work with. The story may have been intentionally twisted as it began to take on a whole new meaning.
The Independent ran the storyline, “The deeper reason we should be worried Donald Trump hung up on Australia PM Turnbull.” The obvious fear tactics appear to be working. There’s still ongoing political unrest from the left, with even one comedian and actress, Sarah Silverman calling for an overthrow of the democratically elected Trump.
CNBC ran a similar story entitled “In phone call with Australia PM, Trump berates and then hangs up on him: Washington Post.” Note the word choice of “berates,” a negative connotation is implied in the word choice, further alienating the American people from any sense of trust in Trump’s judgment.

And in the case of Trump’s reported berating of the Australian Prime Minister Turnbull, leading to a heated exchange that led the U.S. president to hang up on another world leader, the truth is It Never Happened!
Turnbull, in an interview with an Australian radio station, described the phone call. “I had a call with President Trump on Sunday morning our time and the president committed to honor the refugee resettlement deal that had been made by his predecessor Barack Obama,” Turnbull told the radio station. This stands in direct contrast to the Washington Post story, which portrayed a much more contentious conversation with the PM. So who’s telling the truth? It’s obviously not the mainstream media, if Turnbull’s own words are to be believed.

Here’s where things get interesting. Instead of calling the telephone call rife with contention, Turnbull described the conversation as being direct and to the point. Turnbull even went so far as to chastise the mainstream media for its clearly biased reporting. “As far as the call is concerned, I’m very disappointed that there has been a leak of purported details of the call in Washington, but I want to make one observation about it,” Turnbull said adding, “The report that the president hung up is not correct. The call ended courteously.”
Wait! What? Do you mean to tell us, President Turnbull, that the esteemed reporting of Washington Post reporters Miller and Rucker were a disappointment to you? Amazing! Even you noticed it Mr. Prime Minister. For such an admission, we sincerely thank you. We’ve believed for some time that the mainstream media often makes a habit of lying to the American people, and you’ve once again confirmed it for us. After all, one has to be suspicious of news stories which take two dishonest ‘reporters’ to write, as if one is not enough.
Going further, when asked about the nature of the conversation Turnbull concluded, “As far as the nature of the discussion, it was very frank and forthright” and also said it was courteous. “There’s a lot of talk around about the call allegedly from people that were not party to it,” he said adding, “These calls generally remain, naturally, completely confidential.” Yes. That’s right. Only Trump and Turnbull know what was really said. So we at The Free Thought Project, in the interest of journalistic integrity, and to combat the so-called proliferation of “fake news” we now have a message for Miller and Rucker. Get it right or get out of the journalism business — you’re ruining it.
