Patriot wielding a megaphone triggers pro-communist snowflake to get himself ran over by a speeding truck at Saturday’s rally
PORTLAND, Ore. (INTELLIHUB) — A pro-communist ANTIFA member was struck by a speeding truck at the “March for Jesus” rally Saturday after being taunted by a man with a bullhorn.
It all happened when a man wielding a bullhorn across the street on a bridge told a snowflake dressed in all black that he is welcome to ‘come and get some.’
“You are welcome to come and get me if you want,” the man said over the megaphone.
That is when the snowflake got triggered and ran toward the man holding the megaphone only to be struck by a pickup truck severely injuring himself.
San Francisco city leaders are terrified of violence at a Patriot Prayer Rally. They have dubbed it a “rally by a far-right group” and on Saturday, the city will bring in the entire police force work that day.
When a group that claims its intention is to promote peace, love and unity applies for government permission (a permit) to hold a prayer rally (free speech) in a national park, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi declare them “white supremacists” and a “hate group.” In fact, that was the first reaction after the city approved the permit for the Patriot Prayer Rally in the park. The second response? The city of San Fransisco is rallying their entire police force to make sure those who participate in the prayer rally stay in line.
Patriot Prayer bills itself as a peaceful First Amendment advocacy group that appears in locations where there have been past confrontations over free speech. For example, Patriot Prayer organized the Evergreen State College protest outside Seattle where Gibson was pepper sprayed by counter-protesters. According to their Facebook page, Patriot Prayer is also dedicated to fighting government corruption. Now it makes sense that they’ve been labeled as “extremists” by the left.
Th founder of Patriot Prayer, Joey Gibson explained in a video what his group is actually about, and it isn’t white supremacy.
It sounds like Patriot Prayer is attempting to unite Americans rather than divide. It makes sense now that the government is afraid of this group. Propaganda is very powerful, and there are some very rich and very powerful politicians that rely on a divided America, as Patriot Prayer points out. Leftist groups don’t want unity, as that would be needed to squash the corruption in government. Not even Southern Poverty Law Center is as harsh on the Portland-based Patriot Prayer as the government is. SPLC described Patriot Prayer as an “alt-right” group and has dubbed this event “Free Speech, Unity and Peace San Francisco,” billing it as “a day of freedom, spirituality, unity, peace, and patriotism!” Oh, the horror!
“Every available officer is expected to be working on Saturday,” said San Francisco Police Sgt. Michael Andraychak. “So no discretionary time off and days off have been canceled.” San FranciscoMayor Ed Lee Lee had a message for those who oppose groups like Patriot Prayer. “We will be doing an alternative rally Saturday here at Civic Center,” Lee said. He is urging people to stay away from the event at Crissy Field.
Gibson says that all he’s trying to do is inform supporters of Antifa (a broad group of left and far left leaning people) about the violent ways of the group to “bring them out of the darkness” and he says he has made converts like Tara “Bern.”
Tara, a Bernie Sanders backer who now lives in Washington state and served in the army, uses “Bern” as her last name on Facebook to “protect my family when I get into politics.”
Tara wrote on Gibson’s Facebook page that she marched in Seattle with Black Lives Matter, Antifa and other leftist groups because she “heard there was a Nazi rally.”
“As we marched past the police towards the rally, my group was yelling and cussing at the officers and at that exact moment,” Tara wrote, “I felt in my heart it was wrong.”
When she finally reached the supposed ‘Nazis,’ she found out they were actually just a free speech group.
“Speakers were preaching about love and peace, and my group wanted to rip them to shreds. I felt in my spirit that what the Antifa were doing by calling everyone to violence, was wrong,” said Tara. –Fox News
All police are on duty for this peaceful rally, but based on evidence, Antifa and far left groups inciting violence are the main cause for concern.

The American Civil Liberties Union is calling Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler’s decision to cancel right-wing gatherings in Portland unconstitutional, even though the position, on the surface, aligns the group with conservative organizations they frequently oppose.
On Monday, in the wake of a deadly attack on MAX allegedly by a man who was filmed doing a Nazi salute at an alt-right rally in April, Wheeler posted on Facebook and Twitter: “the City of Portland has NOT and will not issue any permits for the alt right events scheduled on June 4th or June 10th.”
“The Federal government controls permitting for Shrunk Plaza, and it is my understanding that they have issued a permit for the event on June 4th,” he continued. “I am calling on the federal government to IMMEDIATELY REVOKE the permit(s) they have issued for the June 4th event and to not issue a permit for June 10th.”
Wheeler’s announcement was greeted, unsurprisingly, with anger from the alt-right community, but pushback also came from ACLU, recently known for fighting President Donald Trump’s executive orderbanning travelers from six Muslim-majority countries, an order which is popular with the alt-right crowd.
Mat dos Santos, legal director at the ACLU of Oregon, said Thursday that what Wheeler is asking for from the federal government, and what he is doing himself by refusing permits, is unconstitutional.
“It was really troubling to hear Mayor Wheeler talking about how hate speech is not constitutionally protected,” dos Santos said, “because that is just legally wrong.”
The line between what is and isn’t protected in the constitution is clear, dos Santos said. It is the line between “concrete evidence of an imminent threat of violence” and everything else.
The ACLU believes it is important to keep this line solid, regardless of emotions or the side of the issue they may fall on, ideologically.

The federal government will not revoke the permit for a rally planned in downtown Portland on Sunday despite an impassioned plea from Mayor Ted Wheeler.
The U.S. General Services Administration announced Wednesday that all rules and regulations were followed by the applicant for the permit to host the “Patriot Prayer” event at Terry Schrunk Plaza.
The application was submitted May 10 and approved May 15.
Wheeler called on the federal government to revoke the permit for what he called an “alt-right event” due to the deadly stabbings on a MAX train at the Hollywood Transit Center on Friday.
Wheeler told people planning to rally to “back off” and let the community heal, saying the event would only “exacerbate an already difficult situation.”
Gibson said Christian attended a previous “Patriot Prayer” rally, but he was kicked out.
The General Services Administration released a statement Wednesday saying the agency and Federal Protective Services are working closely with the mayor’s office and the Portland Police Bureau to prepare for Sunday’s event.
“Since the permit was lawfully obtained to assemble at this federal location, GSA has no basis to revoke the permit,” according to the U.S. General Services Administration.
For a bunch of peace loving, tolerance spewing social justice warriors, it sure does appear that the new “progressive” movement in America is rapidly turning to Bolshevik tactics to force their will upon a free and non-violent people.
The latest example of a society on the brink of civil war comes to us from Portland, Oregon, where every year the 82nd Avenue of Roses Business Association kicks off the city’s annual Rose Festival with a family-friendly parade.
Except, this year, there will be no parade. Organizers have canceled the event amid threats of violence from groups referring to themselves as “Anti-Fascist.” According to The Washington Post, the reasoning behind the threats is reportedly outrage over the fact that the county’s Republican Party was given one of the nearly 100 spots in the parade.
Then came an anonymous and ominous email, according to parade organizers, that instructed them to cancel the GOP group’s registration — or else.
“You have seen how much power we have downtown and that the police cannot stop us from shutting down roads so please consider your decision wisely,” the anonymous email said, referring to the violent riots that hit Portland after the 2016 presidential election, reported the Oregonian. “This is nonnegotiable.”
The email said that 200 people would “rush into the parade” and “drag and push” those marching with the Republican Party.
“We will not give one inch to groups who espouse hatred toward LGBT, immigrants, people of color or others,” it said.
Earlier this month we reported that members of the so-called anti-fascist, left leaning progressive movements are preparing for war by organizing combat fighting classes and even going so far as to suggest it’s time to start bringing guns to such protests as a show of force:
In short, as predicted, they are turning to militancy and mob action by mobilizing individuals and groups to attend combat training seminars, acquiring better equipment like baseball bats and helmets, and of course, if things really go bad… guns.
Yes, we seemed to have lost today. The alt-right held their ground. If we wanna take action against them, we need to be better organized and better trained. It doesn’t help that it’s only the far left opposing them, any trump supporter can be radicalized far easier than any liberal.
I hope we learn from today
…
A shocking number of our comrades went in there with absolute no combat training. We need to set up seminars or something of the sort.
While these folks may think silencing the free speech of political ideologies contrary to theirs through violence is a means to a worthy end, it was the Bolshevik ideology, similar to what we’re seeing from “comrades” in the anti-fascist movement, that eventually gave way to one of the world’s most brutal dictators and was responsible for the deaths of, quite literally, over 100 million people in the 20th century.
On another and perhaps equally interesting note, we’ll mention the fact that for years the Department of Homeland Security and domestic law enforcement agencies had warned Americans that it was lone wolves with conservative values who stockpiled guns, food, bibles and peacefully protested government overreach who were, by officials and congressional members, deemed terrorists.
In its latest, January, update of US home prices, Case-Shiller reported that the unadjusted 20 city composite index, rose at a 5.9% annual rate, up from 5.7% last month and setting a 31-month high. Perhaps even more notable is that in 17 of 20 metro areas, the pace of home appreciation over the past year was 5% or higher, or more than double the pace of core inflation. And with rents continuing to soar across the country, in many cases at a double digit clip, not to mention exploding healthcare costs, one wonders just what the BLS "measures" with its monthly CPI update.
In any case, for those lucky Americans who can afford to own a house instead of being stuck renting the New Normal American dream where they are prohibited from peddling fiction as their annual rent increases by 10% or more each year, here is the breakdown of the best and worst cities for home price appreciation in the U.S.
At the top, with annual price increases of 10% or more, we find the usual west coast (and thus closest to China) suspects: Seattle and Portland, followed close behind by Denver and Dallas, which appears to be enjoying the recent revival in shale. What is more surprising is that on the other end we find Cleveland, Washington and - of all places - New York, which was dead last with only 3.2% annual price appreciation.
Here are some more observations from Case Shiller on the top 3 cities: Seattle, Portland, and Denver reported the highest year-over-year gains among the 20 cities over each of the last 12 months. In January, Seattle led the way with an 11.3% year-over-year price increase, followed by Portland with 9.7%, and Denver with a 9.2% increase. Twelve cities reported greater price increases in the year ending January 2017 versus the year ending December 2016.
The below charts compare year-over-year returns for Seattle and Portland with different ranges of housing prices (tiers). Tier level analysis from 2011 to present for both Seattle and Portland’s year-over-year returns show housing prices in the high tier to be the most stable, while housing prices in the low tier are the most volatile
Residents of one American city can thank an unlikely group of “masked superheroes” for road repairs.
The masked, self-described anarchists in Portland, Ore., are dressed as ninjas and filling potholes while winning popular gratitude, KGW-TV reported. Their efforts have earned the praise of residents and opposition from the Oregon city’s government.
“Successful preliminary action today. We patched five potholes on SE Salmon, between 37th and 39th,” the group, known as Portland Anarchist Road Care, posted on its Facebook page recently.
“It’s not safe for them because there is traffic on the streets and they can potentially put themselves at risk and the public at risk if the repair isn’t done properly,” Dylan Rivera of the Portland Bureau of Transportation said of the anarchists.
Some citizens, though, love what the vigilantes are doing. The anarchists post pictures of themselves, masked, repairing potholes.
“They don’t need to be masked,” resident Tom Satchell said of the anarchists. “They’re doing a great job.”
Rivera said the city has fixed more than 900 potholes so far this year and has crews out working on the problem on every sunny day. It is not clear how many potholes the anarchists have repaired.
“Who will build the roads?” The question is a common response to the proposition that human beings can coexist peacefully in the absence of a government or even the concept of a State altogether. Anarchists often claim that in the absence of an institutionalized State, people will voluntarily organize and discover solutions to the problems they face, including the construction and maintenance of roads. One such group of anarchists decided to put their beliefs into action by repairing potholes in Portland, Oregon.
A Facebook page called “Portland Anarchist Road Care” claims PARC is an anarchist organization dedicated to putting “the state of the roads of PDX into the hands of the people.” The group’s page says they “believe in building community solutions to the issues we face, outside of the state.” They say they are working to change the stereotype of anarchists as road blockers and window smashers. PARC also accuses the city of Portland of failing to repair roads in a timely manner and failing to provide adequate preventative care for winter storms.
“Portland Anarchist Road Care aims to mobilize crews throughout our city, in our neighborhoods, to patch our streets, build community, and continue to find solutions to community problems outside of the state,” their Facebook page reads.
Dylan Rivera, a spokesman for the Portland Bureau of Transportation, told Anti-Media he can empathize with those who are frustrated. “We have a backlog of more than 1000 pothole requests,” Rivera said over the phone. “That work has been frustrated by a wet spring, with very few dry days for potholes.”
Rivera says the city has held a “Patch-a-thon” where they quadruple their staff working on potholes. He stated that during a recent “Patch-a-thon,” the city had 29 crews fix more than 900 potholes. In contrast, ThePortland Mercury reports that PARC has patched five potholes in Portland. While those differences may seem stark, it is worth mentioning that the anarchists fixed the potholes via voluntary direct action while the city of Portland is using money stolen from the local community via taxation.
Rivera warned that Portlanders who choose to privately maintain the city streets without the approval of the government are doing so at their own risk. “Portlanders maintaining city streets is not safe and it’s not allowed,” Rivera stated. “It’’s not safe for the people doing the fixes because they are working in traffic and they are not trained to have the right procedures, barricades, and that sort of thing, to have a safe work zone.” Rivera also warned that individuals who choose to fix the roads could face potential civil liability if someone’s car is damaged. The irony is that, currently, if an individual’s vehicle is damaged due to government inaction on potholes, the government is rarely held accountable.
Whether Portland Anarchist Road Care will continue to fix potholes and eventually outcompete the City of Portland remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the community is a shining example of what a determined group of individuals can do when working together on a common goal.
Portland Anarchist Road Care’s profile picture on Facebook.
Even more so, they are a powerful example of how the people can accomplish both mundane tasks like building and maintaining roads, and more complex issues like how to organize our lives in the absence of the State. The beauty is that we each have the power to be an example of what a world without theft, institutionalized violence, and force can look like. We can choose to live lives that do not rely on the force of government and instead use our individual power to work towards collective liberation.
“The growing homelessness emergency represents a humanitarian crisis and I view it as a moral imperative that we make treating it a top priority. We cannot call ourselves a progressive community while so many people are living – and dying – on our streets…This unfolding crisis is not only catastrophic for people impacted by homelessness, but it also directly impacts our community’s livability, public health and safety, and our economy.” - Ted Wheeler, mayoral candidate, February 2016 [1]
“People think that the caste system is only in India, and we have our own caste system. And the lowest, the bottom of the caste system are the people who live on the streets.” – Mimi German, from this week’s interview
According to the Weather Channel, Portland, Oregon, may well be America’s most winter-fatigued city for the 2016-2017 season.[2]
During the period from December 8th to January 17th, five winter storms have buffeted the city resulting in power outages, tree damage, and closed highways. A particularly intense storm starting January 10 dumped 15.5 inches of snow on the metro area, prompting newly installed Mayor Ted Wheeler to declare a State of Emergency the following day.[3][4][5]
Portland, on average, experiences two days each winter with snow cover of 1 inch or more. [6]
Reinforcing the hardship faced by city residents is the unusually cold temperatures. The Weather Channel documents that the first 18 days of January, and all but 7 days between December 4th and January 31st, were colder than average.[7]
These weather conditions have taken a disproportionate toll on the city’s houseless population. Four people died of exposure in the first ten days of 2017, and an infant who perished within hours of its birth to a houseless mother, is likewise suspected of having been impacted by the harsh cold. [8]
A handful of city residents have stepped up to do what they can to assist this most vulnerable population. While some admirable initiatives have been undertaken, community members have reported on Mayor Wheeler’s failure to act urgently to confront the situation. They are pressing a number of urgent demands, chief among these being opening up emergency warming shelters.
Mimi German, the woman depicted above, happens to be a past guest of this program. A self-described Earth Activist, and founder of radcast.org with a history of involvement with the anti-nuclear movement, she is also a poet, and has been among those leading the charge in taking action to address the immediate needs of street-involved people abandoned to the elements.
In this week’s feature interview, German outlines how and why the city has failed to address the crisis appropriately, political indifference and denial, what can and should be done, and lessons in store for the broader population of the United States as they confront the human impacts of abrupt climate disruption, earthquakes and other looming natural disasters.
Bleeding On The Backs Of The Broken – a poem by Mimi German:
Standing in power on the backs of the broken feigning shock and awe the fifth class lies beneath your feet under bridges, their stench a sewer’s scent, the filth upon which these women stood, blood dripping from their pussy snark, down their legs to the street to the curb to the bridge to the edge down on to restless scabbing bodies of the huddled masses below, on lowlife, the lepers, the polluted, the meek, the wretched refuse the undone, the poor, the are-they-still-here, the outcasts, the exiled, the downtrodden, the unknowns, the unnamed, the homeless the anonymous, the uncared for, the unloved, the addicts, the whores, the mentally ill yearning to breathe free the untouched, the unwound, the wounded, the disparaged, the threatened, the abused, the torn the tired, the poor the traumatized, the swept, the broken, all drowning in the blood of one million women whose calls for respect and intersectionality rang hollow on the walls beneath the bridge while dripping blood on the floor of the forgotten.
[Updates: As of February 4th, the Office of Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has not responded to this reporter"s February 1st request for comment. On February 2nd, hours after our interview with Mimi German, Portland City Council adopted an emergency ordinance requiring landlords to pay the moving costs of tenants they evict without cause. The vote was unanimous. - MAW]

Over 900 people RSVPed on a Facebook page for the group and many of them showed up to in support of immigrant and refugee rights.
Protesters gathered at Terry Schrunk Plaza, across from Portland City Hall, and chanted, “Down with Trump! — Boo! Boo! Down with hate! — Boo, Boo.”
Nancy Hawk, co. executive dir. of the group Basic Rights Oregon is, according to her own words, “a queer Muslim [and a] daughter of immigrants.”
Hawk told the crowd, “Every part of my identity feels under attack from this Administration” and said that Trump’s “executive order will not make us safe.”
FOX 12 was on hand as officers detained protesters who were blocking a TriMet bus near the intersection of Southwest Yamhill and 6th Avenue.Police said six people were arrested downtown. At least five more arrests were later made as protesters blocked streets on the inner east side of the city.
As bystanders looked on, some of whom said they just wanted to get home, Portland police pulled protesters to the ground and took them into custody. Some onlookers cheered the actions of the officers.
Officers soon had cleared the downtown intersection and normal traffic resumed.
Protesters at the scene who were not taken into custody by police were heard making plans to break into smaller groups to take action around the city. One group got on a MAX train to the east side of the city, marched across the Steel Bridge and then down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, blocking traffic along the way.
Some protesters were seen wearing gas masks, while others attempted to pull a dumpster into the street on Southwest Taylor.
Idiots. Losing hearts and minds each time they act like this. Blocking normal people from being able to go about their business. Which is why bystanders clapped and thanked the cops for doing their jobs.
These foolish useful idiots are creating the “fascist” crackdown they claim to fear. The more they do this crap, the less patience the public and the police will have, and the more people will cheer when the cops crack heads and do those dynamic takedowns, like the one the first cop did to the idiot in front of the bus. People will love it. What a way to create their own reality. And they will use that reaction as their confirmation that they are right: “see, I told you this is country is turning fascist! Did you see what the cops did to us? And the people watching just stood there and cheered the cops! Fascists! We need to fight harder against the fascist Trump state!” Rinse, repeat.
Portland, OR — (RT) At least 26 people have been arrested during anti-Trump protests in Portland, Oregon, police say, adding that officers deployed pepper spray as well as “rubber ball distraction devices” to disperse the rally.
The demonstration against President-Elect Donald Trump has gathered for yet another night in the Pacific Northwest city.
Some 4,000 people started their protest at Pioneer Courthouse Square and moved to northeast Portland, according to The Oregonian daily. Police on Twitter wrote that protesters were preparing “gas and flares” and were “arming themselves with rocks from construction site.”
Police have deployed less lethal munitions such as OC spray and vapor (pepper spray), rubber ball distraction devices, rubber baton rounds.
The demonstration heavily interrupted traffic in the city as protesters moved across other major roadways, local media reported.
“Crowd throwing projectiles at police. Significant damage to area car lot,” police said.
Portland police called the protest “a riot,” citing its “extensive criminal and dangerous behavior.” At least 19 cars at Toyota of Portland were vandalized, a sales manager told the paper. Later police reported of new cases of vandalism in the city. Photos on social media showed the smashed windows of local shops.
Portland activist Greg McKelvey said Thursday that several human rights groups in the city would be working together under the new name, Portland’s Resistance.
“In order to survive President Trump there needs to be a strong resistance. Our group believes that Portland has an opportunity to become a beacon of light for the rest of the nation,” McKelvey wrote in a press release on Facebook. The group has scooped over 3,000 likes so far.
“After several orders to disperse, police have used less lethal munitions to effect arrests and move the crowd. Officers still taking projectiles,” police tweeted.
Thousands of people have been out in the streets across the US, since Trump won the 2016 presidential race with 290 electoral votes November 8, leaving Hillary Clinton officially behind, although she won the popular vote.
Chanting anti-Trump slogans, such as “not my president” or “we reject president-elect,” people have been occupying streets in cities from California to New York, expressing their displeasure at the presidential race’s outcome.
Following demonstrations, Trump took to Twitter on Thursday, lashing out at “professional” protesters, who have been rallying against his election since Wednesday.
“Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!” Trump wrote in a tweet.
Following her defeat Clinton conceded to Trump, saying that “we owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.”
“This loss hurts,” she added. “But please never stop believing that the fight for what’s right is worth it.”
