Liberal Hypocrite Michael Moore Participated In RUSSIA-ORGANIZED Anti-Trump Rally

One of the biggest hypocrites to ever walk the face of the Earth, Michael Moore, participated in a Russia-organized anti-Trump rally. Liberals love to latch onto the “Russia” narrative, but they also like to leave out details surrounding their dalliances with the former Soviet Union.

Conveniently missing from most mainstream media news sources, isn’t just information on the highly hypocritical and massive corruption of the Obama Administration and the Clintons in the Uranium One scandal. Prosecutors said Friday that the Russians indicted for meddling in the presidential campaign were also behind anti-Trump rallies that occurred after the election.

According to Fox News, the government alleged in an indictment signed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller that the defendants organized a November 12, 2016 “Trump is NOT my President” rally in New York. Their “strategic goal” was to “sow discord in the U.S. political system,” the indictment said.

On November 12, 2016, Moore tweeted from that very protest organized by Russians.  “At today’s Trump Tower protest. He wouldn’t come down.” He attached a picture of himself posing with a large number of protesters.

Moore also posted a lengthy video on Facebook that same day, in which he joined the protest and debated voters at Trump Tower.  Approximately 25,000 protesters showed up to that same protest, chanting slogans rejecting the then-president-elect NBC News reported at the time, citing New York Police Department officials. Amid heavy police presence, protesters marched from Union Square to Trump Tower, The Guardian reported.

This puts anyone who still has faith that the FBI isn’t a weaponized political tool of the deep state in a tough position. They really don’t have the right to be critical of this information as they demand all Americans trust the FBI and where an investigation takes them.

Moore has repeatedly claimed that President Trump inappropriately colluded with Russians when it looks like there’s plenty of evidence the Obama Administration and the Clintons seem to get a free pass for their role in the Uranium One scandal. Last year, Moore wrote on Facebook, “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going on: TRUMP COLLUDING WITH THE RUSSIANS TO THROW THE ELECTION TO HIM.”

If it weren’t for double standards, Michael Moore wouldn’t have any.

Michael Moore Proposes The 28th Amendment To Replace "Ancient & Outdated" 2nd Amendment

Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

Michael Moore is calling for the repeal of the second amendment, which isn’t really surprising considering his stance on guns.

He also proposed replacing the second amendment with the 28th amendment, and you may laugh out loud when reading his suggestion.

In the wake of the Las Vegas massacre, Moore said in a lengthy Facebook post that the “ancient and outdated” 2nd Amendment was written before bullets and revolvers were even invented. Moore is towing the liberal line often voiced. Some actually believe the second amendment only applies to muskets, since that’s what the founding fathers had available. Of course, that would mean free speech doesn’t apply to the internet for the same reasons, which is where the left often trips on their own ideology.

But even more humorously, Moore has invented a new amendment to the Constitution.

Here is the quote which was taken directly from Moore’s Facebook post.

PROPOSED 28th AMENDMENT TO THE US CONSTITUTION

A well regulated State National Guard, being helpful to the safety and security of a State in times of need, along with the strictly regulated right of the people to keep and bear a limited number of non-automatic Arms for sport and hunting, with respect to the primary right of all people to be free from gun violence, this shall not be infringed.”

“This is the sane approach that meets everyone’s needs – everyone, that is, except those of the serial killer, the mass murderer, the violent ex-husband, the disgruntled employee or the disturbed and bullied teenager,” Moore wrote.

Even though he acknowledged that we can never eliminate murder, but we can join the community of “enlightened nations” where gun violence is not a “daily tragedy.”

“This can come to an end with the repeal of the 2nd Amendment and replacing it with the 28th Amendment,” Moore said.

It’s nothing short of ironic hypocrisy that the very people who think Donald Trump is “literally Hitler” are now begging Trump’s government to disarm and take control of the very item which could save them against “literally Hitler.”  History repeats itself.

Liberal Fanatic Michael Moore Proposes The 28th Amendment To Regulate Guns

Michael Moore: “Can’t wait” for whites to die out, country will be a “better” place

(INTELLIHUB) — Leftist filmmaker and noted anti-Trump propagandist Michael Moore is at it again, this time revealing that he “can’t wait” for the day that whites are a minority in America as he believes it will allow the Democratic Party to take full control of the country.

Moore made the stunning comments in an interview for his new “Trump resistance” Broadway show which aims to rally viewers into joining the left-wing, anything goes, attack on all things Donald Trump.

After mentioning several attempts currently taking place to find a way to circumvent the Electoral College, Moore moved onto directly implying that the tens of millions of people who voted for Trump are all racist minority haters.

“Here’s another positive thing to look at: Every year 3 million 18-year-olds become adults and potential voters, and we raised those kids,” Moore said. “We’ve raised a generation of kids who don’t hate people on the basis of race, or they don’t hate somebody because they’re in love with somebody of the same gender.”

More then got into specific race baiting and the idea that left-wing politics will be better served once more white people die out.

“Nearly 70% of the country is either female, people of color, or young adults between 18 and 35, or a combination of the three. The angry white guy is dying out, and the Census Bureau has already told us that by 2050, white people are going to be the minority, and I’m not sad to say I can’t wait for that day to happen. I hope I live long enough to see it because it will be a better country.”

The above comments by Moore are only the latest in a string of unhinged anti-conservative rhetoric from the establishment talking head, including a recent rant on CNN where he directly called over 50 million Americans racist.

“Moore first took aim at President Trump himself, calling him “absolutely a racist” before going into a rant that compares the over 50 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump to actual rapists,” Intellihub News reported.

“If you hold down the woman while the rapist is raping her, and you didn’t rape her, are you a rapist?” Moore told the admittedly anti-Trump Don Lemon. “Let’s cut the BS and start speaking honestly.” he continued.

We are clearly seeing a new front in the hard-lefts arsenal where they now feel comfortable enough to start openly talking about how great they think the country will be when whites become a minority and the Democratic Party becomes the only real political option.

And apparently the rich and white Michael Moore is leading the way….

They are coming for you: Michael Moore calls ALL Trump supporters racist, compares them to rapists

(INTELLIHUB) — Leftist filmmaker and hardcore anti-Trump zealot Michael Moore is once again attacking tens of millions of Americans, this time in an unhinged rant on CNN where he literally compared Trump supporters to rapists before declaring them all to be racists.

Moore first took aim at President Trump himself, calling him “absolutely a racist” before going into a rant that compares the over 50 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump to actual rapists.

“If you hold down the woman while the rapist is raping her, and you didn’t rape her, are you a rapist?” Moore told the admittedly anti-Trump Don Lemon.

“Let’s cut the BS and start speaking honestly.” he continued.

Moore then moved on to a type of psychological warfare on the American people, attempting to pressure them into turning their backs on Trump for fear of being mislabeled a racist.

“He’s absolutely a racist,” Moore said. “If you still support the racist, you are the racist.”

“That has to end. I’m not sorry, I’m not letting anybody off the hook here.”

Moore has a long history of attacking the tens of millions of Americans that he disagrees with and has essentially gone off the deep end since the election of Donald Trump.

From organizing protests against the president, to launching websites to take him down, Moore is working in lockstep with the mainstream media fueled, deep state war on all things Trump and is apparently now willing to attack half of America in the process.

Leftist Michael Moore calls for “army of satire” to take down Trump

(INTELLIHUB) — Documentary filmmaker and author Michael Moore appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert to bash the president on his latest transgender military ban and more.

The famed filmmaker said that all trans military members should protest the President’s ban by staying, not leaving their post.

“I refuse to live in a country where Donald Trump is President and I’m not leaving,” Moore said. “So, um, something’s got to change. […] The possibility exists that Donald Trump will be our, your President in 2015 but we don’t want that […] we have to form an army of citizens and come at him like a swarm of bees.”

Moore then called for an “army of satire” to take down President Trump because he “hates humor.”

The filmmaker currently has a new Broadway show called “The Terms of My Surrender.”

‘Run the Rock 2020’ Campaign Counting on Citizen Malpractice

The biggest joke may be if he’s not joking, and if voters would back him primarily because they’re “fans.”

“A campaign committee has formally filed to draft actor and former WWE wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for president,” The Hill reported Monday. “’Run the Rock 2020,’ the name of the official organization, was filed on behalf of Johnson with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday, according to FEC records.”

The performer has joked about running for president on Saturday Night Live and even hinted in a GQ Magazine interview that he might consider it, but there is no indication he has sanctioned this effort filed by a West Virginia man with no known connections to the celebrity.

There’s also no indication on where Johnson stands, constitutionally and politically.  He describes himself as an “Independent,” which makes calculated sense if the goal is to draw as large an audience and alienate as few as possible.  Addressing both the Republican and Democrat conventions in 2000 shows a business eye to playing both ends against the middle, but does not speak to “rock solid” convictions.

Still,  that tells us nothing about what Johnson believes, what he would advance and what he would impose controls over if given the power to do so.

Where does he stand on the right to keep and bear arms? How about on cultural terraforming, which can enable all kinds of citizen disarmament via an electorate that will empower legislators to enact infringements, and ensure court appointments that will uphold them?

What about the oath?

His call for “a commitment to diversity, inclusion, community, open-mindedness” makes  it fair to wonder if he means the same thing by that as Obama meant by “fundamental transformation.”

Conversely, there’s plenty of indication on where Kenton Tilford, the person behind the FEC filing, stands. Per his reported LinkedIn profile, he’s a “progressive” apparatchik, having worked on several Democrat campaigns as well having been a field organizer for Obama for America.

That may not matter, as the campaign is unsanctioned by Johnson and may just be a way for Tilford to gain professional attention as an organizer who can attract publicity. And that’s something the media is more than happy to accommodate him with, as a Google News search for the terms “The Rock” + president  yields innumerable returns, many about the campaign he reigstered.

The wishful thinking on the part of “progressives” (like odious, publicity-seeking Michael Moore) who viscerally hate Donald Trump (and his platform supporters) and would vote for anyone, anything (even a rock!) to replace him is strong. And there’s desperation that the Democrat party can’t come up with an acceptable standard bearer, what with Hillary still making noises on behalf of the establishment, while the younger blood demands a radical that just won’t play outside of the most left-leaning strongholds.

Forgetting all of that – and the real concern – are the numbers of Americans commenting under articles and on social media posts enthusiastically urging Johnson to run.

Why?

Does he really approve of this?

How could anyone do so without good indications of where the man stands, and importantly, what he understands about the Constitution? Americans willing to hand over near total power based on being fans of a movie star no doubt have opinions, and those opinions are again no doubt utterly uninformed (not to mention in the case of some delusional fans, demonstrably insane).

That spits on the memory of everyone who sacrificed up to “the last full measure of devotion” defending a system of representative government  “established and ordained” for reasons none of them could probably even recite, let alone grasp the significance of.

If The Rock ever does get serious about running for public office, it will be incumbent on him to explain his understanding of limited powers and unalienable rights, and to make known what he hopes to accomplish and where such authority is delegated. Useful idiot “progressives” may be happy ceding control of their lives to a Scorpion King, but some of us hold those we consider leaders worthy of following to higher standards.

The takeaway from all this: It’s not really about Johnson at all – he’s merely incidental to the real issue.  It’s about heirs to the Blessings of Liberty throwing away their birthright, and in doing so betraying ourselves and our Posterity.

Observations by Mr. Adams and Mr. Adams come to mind.

Michael Moore Is Crying His Ossoff: "Dems Have No Message, No Plan, No Leaders"

Michael Moore, the liberal activist who perfectly predicted Trump"s shocking victory last November and has led the "Resistance" ever since, would like for you to know that he"s really upset that Jon Ossoff got destroyed last night despite the efforts of some San Francisco Democrats to spend an obscene amount of money to buy a Congressional seat in Georgia.

"If u think the party who"s won the vote in 6 o last 7 Prez votes but holds ZERO power & is now 0-4 in 2017 votes is going to win next year...get a friggin" clue."

"The DNC & DCCC has NO idea how 2 win cause they have no message, no plan, no leaders, won"t fight & hate the resistance."

"I say this to my 7.5 million ppl on social media & the millions who watch my movies & read my books: Are we going 2 sit by & let this happen?""

Earlier this month we noted that Moore launched "Trumpileaks," a site where disgruntled Hillary snowflakes still occupying positions of power in Washington D.C. could anonymously submit damaging Trump-related leaks, as part of his "Resistance" effort.  Apparently that effort has not been effective thus far.

Of course, maybe Moore would make a good DNC chair...in addition to the endless entertainment such an appointment would provide, he was pretty much the only person on the left who had any clue that Hillary was about to be handed a devastating loss.

Michael Moore Launches "TrumpiLeaks"; Encourages White House Leaks As "Patriotic Duty"

After months of complaining about WikiLeaks and it"s impact on the 2016 election, Michael Moore has just launched "TrumpiLeaks", a place where disgruntled Hillary snowflakes still occupying positions of power in Washington D.C. can anonymously submit damaging Trump-related leaks.

Moore published a letter to the Huffington Post to announce the website"s launch and call on potential leakers to do their "patriotic duty."

I need one of you to help me. It might get dangerous. It may get us in trouble. But we’re running out of time. We must act. It’s our patriotic duty.

From the time you opened this letter to the time you get to the bottom of it, there’s a decent chance that our president will have violated the constitution, obstructed justice, lied to the American people, encouraged or supported acts of violence, or committed some horrible mistake that would’ve ended any other politician’s career (or sent you or I to jail). And just like all the times he’s done so in the past, he will get away with it.

Donald Trump thinks he’s above the law. He acts like he’s the above the law. He’s STATED that he’s above the law. And by firing Sally Yates, Preet Bharara and James Comey (3 federal officials with SOME authority to hold him accountable) he’s taken the first few steps to make it official.

Moore

The website includes a host of tools designed to allow leakers to send every type of media, from documents to video and photographs, anonymously.

And this is where I need one of you to help me.

Today, I’m launching TrumpiLeaks, a site that will enable courageous whistleblowers to privately communicate with me and my team. Patriotic Americans in government, law enforcement or the private sector with knowledge of crimes, breaches of public trust and misconduct committed by Donald J. Trump and his associates are needed to blow the whistle in the name of protecting the United States of America from tyranny.

We’ve put together several tools you can use to securely send information and documents as well as photographs, video and/or audio recordings. While no form of digital communication is 100 percent secure, the tools we’re using at TrumpiLeaks provide the most secure technology possible to protect your anonymity (and if you don’t require anonymity, you can just email me here).

I know this is risky. I knew we may get in trouble. But too much is at stake to play it safe. And along with the Founding Fathers, I’ve got your back.

Of course, Moore"s launch comes just one day after the FBI arrested an NSA contractor, Reality Winner, for doing exactly what he"s now encouraging...which may put a slight damper on the information flow.

Meanwhile, with the mainstream media laser focused and working 10x harder than they ever have in history to discredit an American President, it"s hard to imagine Moore, and his army of snowflakes, being able to add incremental value to their efforts...

Michael Moore: Anti-Trump Coup Supporter

Michael Moore: Anti-Trump Coup Supporter | Michael-Moore | Politics Special Interests

Michael Moore’s irrational anti-Trump rage lost him credibility months ago. He’s either deranged, a Democrat party plant, funded by Trump-hating extremists like Soros, prematurely senile, or all of the above.

Throughout last year’s presidential campaign, he openly supported war criminal, racketeer, perjurer Hillary. After her defeat, he called for her to be installed as president anyway.

Ahead of Trump’s inauguration, he urged disrupting it – wanting it “block(ed), obstruct(ed),” and otherwise interfered with to prevent him from becoming president.

He tried bribing Republican electors to defect, saying “(i)f you  vote your conscience…and your state fines you…I will pay your fine.”

After Trump’s inauguration, he called for him to “vacate” his office. In mid-February, he tweeted “it appears you are still squatting in our Oval Office.”

“What part of ‘vacate you Russian traitor’ don’t you understand? We can do this the easy way (you resign), or the hard way (impeachment).”

Other multiple tweets said “(l)et’s be VERY clear: Flynn DID NOT make that Russian call on his own.”

“He was INSTRUCTED to do so. He was TOLD to reassure them. Arrest Trump.”

“TRUMP KNEW EVERYTHING. It will all come out. Along with the rest of Trump’s collusion and obedience to Putin.”

“This is who Trump named ‘National Security Advisor.’ A lapdog to the lapdog of Putin. Feeling secure America? He’s gonna get us all killed.”

He demands “all actions being taken by” Trump’s administration halted, calling his administration “illegitimate” – urging his arrest and removal from office if he won’t voluntarily step down.

His rants are more delusional and deranged than rational thinking, making it appear he need psychiatric help. His latest tirade on Instagram said the following:

“The Democratic Party needs to declare a National Emergency. For the first time in our history, the President of the United States and his staff are under investigation for espionage.”

“This announcement, by the head of the Trump-friendly FBI, is a shock to our democracy. The Democratic leadership in the House and Senate needs to bring a halt to all business being done in the name of this potential felony suspect, Donald J. Trump.”

“No bill he supports, no Supreme Court nominee he has named, can be decided while he is under a criminal investigation. His presidency has no legitimacy until the FBI – and an independent investigative committee – discovers the truth.”

“Fellow citizens, demand the Democrats cease all business. ‘The American people have a right to know if their President is a crook.’ Richard Nixon

Trump and his campaign backers are being investigated for possible improper links to Russia, not espionage. Since last fall, FBI efforts uncovered nothing.

No evidence or hint of it suggests anything credible to uncover. Yet witch-hunt proceedings continue, perhaps endlessly, part of a diabolical plot to undermine him.

The only justifiable national emergency is over the urgency to halt US imperial wars, neoliberal harshness, and growing homeland tyranny – issues Moore and others like him ignore.

There’s plenty about Trump’s agenda to criticize. Bashing him for the wrong reasons, gratuitously, or for defeating Hillary is way out-of-bounds.

Wanting him illegitimately removed from office is the way banana republics operate.

Michael Moore launches resistance website promoting daily anti-Trump actions

(INTELLIHUB) — In an effort to create more political friction for the White House than there already is, liberal, filmmaker and activist, Michael Moore launched The Resistance Calender, a website aimed at empowering liberals by pairing them with daily anti-Trump actions in which they can attend.

To the untrained eye, Moore’s website, ResistanceCalendar.org, looks decent. It boasts an early-90’s color scheme and is rather simple to navigate. It’s basically, an online bulletin board which caters to leftists looking to take action by mobilizing against Trump.

michael mooreBrave News Films/Flickr

The website allows users to “submit” or “add” an event by simply filling out an online form which asks users for their name, their email, the link they wish to promote and a description of the event. Under the “Monthly” tab I counted 55 different events taking place on Today alone with Saturday the 25th looking busy also.

While searching for events on the site, under the “Monthly” tab, I counted 55 different events taking place on Today alone with Saturday the 25th looking busy also.

Early Wednesday morning, Moore took to Twitter to point out the “incredible turnouts at Congressional Town Hall meetings across the country” which he feels his new site is contributing to.

Michael Moore, Organizing for Action, and Indivisible — all Soros-backed?

What Moore didn’t point out is the fact that the left-leaning Obama-tied group Organizing for Action (OFA) is also promoting the Town Hall Project

Both agendas, the one promoted on Moore’s new website and OFA’s are nearly interchangeable and both Moore and OFA are making a major push until Feb. 26 to thwart GOP legislators.

Currently, OFA empowers over 30,000 activists and has over 400 rallies scheduled for 2017.

OFA works with Indivisible, which according to Breitbart “is a part of a coalition.” According to the Capitol Research CenterIndivisible has “loose ties” to the billionaire Hillary Clinton and sanctuary city backer and George Soros.

OFA has literally issued a practical guide for resisting the Trump agenda.

Michael Moore Melts Down; Tells Trump To "Resign By Morning" Or Face "Impeachment You Russian Traitor"

Michael Moore, the ultra-liberal documentary filmmaker who infamously predicted a Trump victory well before election night last November by stunningly calling Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania for the Republican nominee, has, over the past 24 hours, decided to broadcast his latest nervous breakdown over Twitter for all to see.

It all started with the following tweet storm posted by Moore in the wee hours of the morning saying that, among other things, "Flynn DID NOT make that Russian call on his own" but rather "was INSTRUCTED to do so."  Moore went on to insist that Flynn was just the first of several senior Trump advisors that would inevitably be fired and predicted that "Miller & Bannon" would be next before calling on Trump himself to "Resign by morning!"

And, lest you thought he was just joking and/or slept off his temporary "mental incapacitation" and decided to move on with his life, Moore just lit up the Twittersphere again this afternoon asking Trump "What part of "vacate you Russian traitor" don"t you understand?" while threatening that "We can do this the easy way (you resign), or the hard way (impeachment)."

But, while we certainly respect his November prognostication and admire his tenacity, we suspect his calls for a Trump resignation may be premature...just a hunch.

Does Michael Moore Matter Anymore? An Open Letter From One Filmmaker To Another

Authored by Douglass Herman via Strike-The-Root.com,

“This is the true joy in life – being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one: being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.” ~ George Bernard Shaw

Mike: I’m a fellow Michigander, a fellow filmmaker like yourself, raised with small town Midwestern values like the ones you claim to have. I’ve mostly applauded and admired your efforts in the past. Indeed, long before I became a filmmaker, I championed your documentary film, Fahrenheit 9/11. While working as an Alaska commercial fisherman, I lobbied the local theater owner, Rusty, to show the film there in Kodiak, Alaska in 2004. He said he despised you but I told him the Orpheum would be packed for several showings and he’d make a nice fat profit. And he did.

Speaking of nice fat profits, how’s your weight, buddy? You really should contact my friend Gillian Michael and get on a weight loss program. Maybe you could make a documentary while you do it. Call it High Fructose Snowflakes or Fast Food Fat Folks or something really fun and creative. Like that guy who made Supersize Me.

Sadly, in recent years, you’ve seemed to become almost a parody of yourself. Like a cartoon character or one of those loopy Saturday Night Live sketches that are more embarrassing than funny. Where, I wonder, is the old Mike Moore? The guy who tilted at windmills, who stood up to the powerful with homespun humor and a shaky camera? Indeed, the very same things you said to the auto industry in Roger and Me, years ago, are the very same things Donald Trump is saying to the auto industry today. Or so it seems to me.

To your credit, you sounded prescient when you said, LOUD AND CLEAR, that this presidential election would be the Biggest Fuck You to those in power. Bravo; you were right. To Wall Street, Big Business, The Media and Washington DC, the average working class Deplorable spoke out on election day. But you forgot to add Yourself, Mike. Seems to me that America said fuck you to people like YOU. Lots of folks in the “flyover” states said fuck you to Hollywood and highly-paid celebs like yourself. I mean, you were worth an estimated $50 million and the proud owner of nine homes according to divorce court records a couple years ago. Trump supporters backed a rich fellow like yourself. But they wished and hoped and prayed that ALL of you rich hypocrites would move somewhere else, anywhere else – as many claimed they would - and help us make America great again. But those were idle threats from the affluent idle, sad to see.

Like yourself, I’m disgusted with what our country has become, and like yourself and millions of others, I want to do something about it. But a Two Million Snowflake March on Washington DC will be more counterproductive than anything, I believe. How about Love Trumps Hate? You do remember that slogan, right? Act locally and think globally, and maybe just a little Kindness Generates Kindness.

Since you’re going to DC, suppose you suggest to Black Lives Matter they get a life, not take a life. Stop harassing folks, stop kidnapping kids, and do what you and I did when we were young. Work for a living. Maybe you could suggest to all of your millions of Facebook and Twitter followers that they take a tip from fellow playwright G.B. Shaw about “Being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.”

The election, that you and so many others claimed was hacked by Russians, was a huge FU to fat hypocrites like yourself. We said FU to people who called themselves progressive but were no more progressive than the biggest Bushco Neocons. We said fuck you to Hollywood. We said go-to-hell to the shitty music and television industry and spoiled celebs like yourself, sanctimonious folks who backed the corrupt Clinton Machine. We saw through it, and for better or worse, we rejected it.

So now, Mike, you want all the sore losers like yourself, many of them struggling from payday to payday, to get on over to Washington DC to protest? Why not offer to pay their tickets, both travel tickets and disorderly conduct tickets? I mean, put up or shut up, Mike.

Put Up or Shut Up Protest

Let me ask you this, Mike. Did you ever protest, actually protest, anything Obama or Clinton or Holder did in the past eight years? Did you protest Fast & Furious gun running to Mexican drug gangs? Did you, Mike? Or droning wedding parties? Or did you protest the vicious destruction of small countries like Iraq, Syria or Libya, independent nations that never attacked America?

Did you ever protest the wholly undeserved Nobel Peace Prize given to Barack Obama? Did you? Because most of the folks I know would have thanked the committee and said no thanks to that prize. What kind of narcissist accepts a prize they haven’t earned? But that’s what Obama did, and most so-called Liberals support him and consider he’s done a great job. Why is that? You get all angry about Trump, and claim he didn’t earn the presidency. And yet you seem to be okay with a guy who bombed more folks than ALL of the dictators we toppled. And got a peace prize for doing it! Seems to me that Liberalism is a disease of denial or hypocrisy.

Can I just give you a suggestion, Mike? Your devotion to justice and activism is laudable. But you cannot support human rights at the higher cost of human wrongs. You soon become morally bankrupt. Even for a guy as wealthy as you.

Suppose instead you threw your considerable weight behind worldwide causes of truth and justice. Like the freedom flotilla to Gaza, like Colonel Ann Wright supported and lots of the veterans did, too. Or how about trying to stop wars BEFORE they start? Before the shadow state and the swamp creatures in DC rubber stamp some immoral war? Make a documentary about that, Mike.

Now about your considerable weight: How about a Reality TV show called Celebrity Biggest Loser? Seems like a sure winner to me.

D.C. National Guard Chief Fired Days Before Trump Inauguration: "The Timing Is Extremely Unusual"

"It doesn’t make sense to can the general in the middle of an active deployment," rages D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson (D) after Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz, who heads the D.C. National Guard and is an integral part of overseeing the inauguration, has been ordered removed from command effective Jan. 20, 12:01 p.m., just as Donald Trump is sworn in as president.

As The Washington Post reports, Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz’s departure will come in the midst of the presidential ceremony, classified as a national special security event — and while thousands of his troops are deployed to help protect the nation’s capital during an inauguration he has spent months helping to plan.

“The timing is extremely unusual,” Schwartz said in an interview Friday morning, confirming a memo announcing his ouster that was obtained by The Washington Post.

During the inauguration, Schwartz would command not only the members of the D.C. guard but also an additional 5,000 unarmed troops sent in from across the country to help. He also would oversee military air support protecting the nation’s capital during the inauguration.

“My troops will be on the street,” Schwartz, who turned 65 in October, said, “I’ll see them off but I won’t be able to welcome them back to the armory.” He said that he would “never plan to leave a mission in the middle of a battle.”

Schwartz, who was appointed to head the guard by President George W. Bush in 2008, maintained the position through President Obama’s two terms. He said his orders came from the Pentagon but that he doesn’t know who made the decision.

D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson (D) blasted the decision to remove Schwartz, especially on Inauguration Day.

“It doesn’t make sense to can the general in the middle of an active deployment,” Mendelson said. He added that Schwartz’s sudden departure would be a long-term loss for the District. “He’s been really very good at working with the community and my impression was that he was good for the Guard.”

Unlike in states, where the governor appoints the National Guard commander, in the District that duty falls to the president.

Schwartz said that he has not been told why he was asked to step down. “I’m a soldier,” he said, noting that he was following orders and has no regrets. “I’m a presidential appointee, therefore the president has the power to remove me.”

Is this just another part of Obama"s "smooth" transition? Or is something even more sinister at work here, since we already know that anti-Trump activists are planning "the biggest protest in US history" on the day of the inauguration?

*  *  *

As we noted previously, radical leftists are planning to make January 20th the most chaotic Inauguration Day in American history.  Their stated goal is to “disrupt” the Inauguration festivities as much as possible, and they are planning a wide range of “actions” to achieve that stated goal.  Some of the more moderate groups are using terms such as “civil resistance” and “civil disobedience”, but others are openly talking about “blockades”, jumping barricades, throwing projectiles and “citywide paralysis”.  My hope is that all of their efforts will turn out to be a big flop, but it is important to understand that these groups are well funded, highly organized and extremely motivated.  The election of Donald Trump has been perhaps the single most galvanizing moment for the radical left in modern American history, and they are working very hard to turn January 20th into a major political statement.

In fact, just recently one activist group took out a full page ad in the New York Times

Thousands of activists, journalists, scientists, entertainers, and other prominent voices took out a full-page call to action in the New York Times on Wednesday making clear their rejection of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence with the simple message: “No!”

“Stop the Trump/Pence regime before it starts! In the name of humanity we refuse to accept a fascist America!” the ad states, followed by a list of signatories that includes scholar Cornel West; author Alice Walker; Chase Iron Eyes of the Standing Rock Sioux; educator Bill Ayers; poet Saul Williams; CNN‘s Marc Lamont Hill; Carl Dix of the Communist Party USA; and numerous others.

The ad pointed people to refusefascism.org, and it asserted that Trump must be stopped whether he was legitimately elected or not

Trump promises to inflict repression and suffering on people in this country, to deport millions, to increase violence up to the use of nuclear weapons on people across the globe, and to inflict catastrophes upon the planet itself. He has assembled a cabinet of Christian fundamentalist fanatics, war mongers, racists, science deniers. NO! His regime must not be allowed to consolidate. We REFUSE to accept a Fascist America!

If you go to refusefascism.org, you will discover that the protests that they are organizing in Washington D.C. will begin on January 14th.  They say that they want to “stop the Trump-Pence regime before it starts”, and they hope to have protests going “every day and every night” without interruption through at least January 20th.

Another group that plans to kick things off on January 14th is DisruptJ20.  Of course that is short for “Disrupt January 20th”.  If you go to their official website, you will find a long slate of events that have already been scheduled.

According to Legba Carrefour, a spokesperson for DisruptJ20, one of the goals of the group is to block major transportation routes into and throughout our nation’s capital.  And he is not shy about the fact that they literally want to “shut down the Inauguration”

“We are planning to shut down the inauguration, that’s the short of it,” he says. “We’re pretty literal about that, we are trying to create citywide paralysis on a level that I don’t think has been seen in D.C. before. We’re trying to shut down pretty much every ingress into the city as well as every checkpoint around the actual inauguration parade route.”

If Carrefour and his fellow conspirators are able to actually accomplish that, it truly would be unprecedented.

And while DisruptJ20 is not publicly advocating violence, they are not exactly discouraging it either…

Carrefour says DisruptJ20 has no publicly announced plans to jump barricades along the inauguration parade route or throw projectiles at the new president, but that autonomous direct actions are encouraged.

“I can’t comment on specific stuff we’re doing like that, mostly because that would be illegal. But, yeah, it will get pretty crazy, I expect,” he says. “‘Have fun!’ I say.”

After the rioting that we have seen in Baltimore, Ferguson, Charlotte and many other communities around the nation in recent years, I hope that authorities are taking these threats quite seriously.

Once Donald Trump won the election, many conservatives seemed to think that the war was won.  But the truth of the matter is that many on the left were completely blindsided by Trump’s surprise victory, and now that they are fully awake they are gearing up for battle like never before.

And these protests are not going to end on January 20th.  In fact, abortion advocates are hoping to get close to a million women into Washington D.C. on the day following the Inauguration to protest for abortion rights.  Filmmaker Michael Moore is hoping that this march will be the beginning of “100 days of resistance” against Trump’s presidency…

Filmmaker and liberal icon Michael Moore has announced his plans to attend the Women’s March on Washington to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration later this month and has called for sore loser liberals to go further — by staging protests acts of resistance through the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency.

In an appearance, this weekend on MSNBC’s The Last Word, the 62-year-old Trumpland and Fahrenheit 9/11 director made a “call to arms” to those opposed to Trump’s presidency to join the Women’s March on Washington scheduled for January 21, the day after the presidential inauguration.

“It’s important that everybody go there,” Moore told MSNBC’s Ari Melber.

Of course it is easy to imagine how all of this could spiral wildly out of control.  If Trump cracks down on these protests really hard in an attempt to restore law and order, that could end up sparking a dramatic backlash against his “police state tactics”.  And if the protests become even bigger and more violent, Trump could respond by cracking down even more harshly.

Let us hope for some really cold weather in D.C. at the end of January so that as many troublemakers as possible get discouraged and stay home.  Violent protests, blockades and riots aren’t going to solve anything, and they could easily open fresh wounds in a nation that is becoming more divided with each passing day.

Michael Moore announces ‘100 days of resistance’ against Trump Presidency

(INTELLIHUB) — Filmmaker and liberal icon Michael Moore has announced his plans to attend the Women’s March on Washington to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration later this month and has called for sore loser liberals to go further — by staging protests acts of resistance through the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency.

“This will have an effect. We need to throw everything at this. This man is slightly unhinged, if I can say that, and he’s a malignant narcissist. He cares very much about what people think of him. He wants to be the popular guy. And he’s going to be very upset if there’s a lot of people there.”

Moore, who was one of the first liberal political pundits to predict a Trump victory, also urged protesters to “get up off the couch” and to be a part of protests during the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency.

“We are gonna be busy, busy, busy,” Moore said, adding a rallying call to “a hundred days of resistance.”

The political pundit casually chatted about hearing the hair and makeup employees at MSNBC talking about going to the Women’s March backstage before his appearance on the program.

“That’s the new Americana. That’s what’s going to happen. And people are going to be relentless about this, so I’m optimistic,” he enthused.

In the lead up to the 2016 election, Moore labored to persuade voters to vote for former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Just weeks before election day, he released a critical documentary of Trump called Michael Moore in TrumpLand. Interestingly, a portion of the film in which Moore extols Trump’s appeal to Rust Belt voters was subsequently cut from the film and posted on the Internet where it went viral among Trump supporters.

Moore previously called for protesters to “disrupt” Trump’s inauguration on January 20th and even offered to bribe GOP elector’s to do a protest vote.

5,000 National Guard Deployed At Inauguration As Michael Moore Calls For "100 Days Of Resistance" Against Trump

Michael Moore just won"t let it go.

The filmmaker who last made news when he pushed for a national campaign to overturn the Electoral College vote (and failed), is now calling for large protests at Donald Trump"s inauguration and “100 days of protest” during the president-elect’s first 100 days in office.

Speaking on MSNBC"s Last Word, Moore said that “Trump gets upset if there’s 10 people outside Trump Tower…. What’s he going to think if there’s 100,000 or 500,000 (at inauguration). It’s important that everybody go there. This will have an effect. We have to throw everything at this. This man is slightly unhinged, if I can say that, and he’s a malignant narcissist. He’s going to be very upset if there’s a lot of people there.”

Moore added that he is going to be “busy busy busy” fighting Trump and leading “100 days of resistance” against the president-elect.

Moore said he would be in D.C. there for the women’s march, which is expected to be the largest demonstration around Trump"s inauguration. The march will start at Independence Avenue and Third Street NW in front of the U.S. Capitol. He described the march as a way to send a "bold message" to the Trump administration that "women"s rights are human rights."  Numerous other groups have planned protests at the inauguration and following the event.

Moore is not the only one calling for protests on inauguration day. According to Reuters, anarchist groups have threatened to shut down Trump"s swearing-in as U.S. president as dozens of activist groups plan to protest the Jan. 20 inauguration of the New York real estate developer. Police expect some 900,000 people to flood Washington for the inauguration ceremony, which includes a parade from the U.S. Capitol to the White House along streets thronged with onlookers.

Many of the nearly 1 million onlookers will not be celebrating Trump"s presidency: interim Police Chief Peter Newsham told reporters on Friday that in addition to the more than two dozen activist groups that have sought permits for peaceful demonstrations, Washington police were aware of anarchist groups vowing online to interrupt the proceedings.

"The fact that you have some folks that are indicating on social media that they"re coming to shut down the inauguration events is something that we will be prepared for," Newsham said. "We"ve experienced that type of thing before in the city and we"ll be able to handle it." Asked about the prospect of mass arrests, Newsham said: "That"s one of the things that we have to prepare for, but we don"t anticipate that will be the case."

Protests are planned before, during and after the inauguration, with the biggest event the Women"s March on Washington on Jan. 21. The National Park Service said Thursday it would start issuing permits for protest sites after civil rights lawyers threatened to sue, saying the agency was quashing dissent.

Meanwhile, in preparation for protests and/or violence, the head of the Secret Service"s District field office, Brian Ebert, said that about 3,000 police officers from outside the District, 5,000 National Guard troops and federal agents will staff buffer crowd-control barriers and bag checks.  Additionally, barriers will be in place to prevent any possible truck attack, such as the attacks in Berlin last month and in Nice, France, in July.

And in what may be a new inaugural twist, a pro-pot lobbying group has vowed to distribute 4,200 joints and light up near the inaugural site to show support for legalization of marijuana nationwide. Marijuana is legal in the District of Columbia but can only be consumed in private. Asked if police would bust smokers, Mayor Muriel Bowser said, "That wouldn"t be our first priority."

Michael Moore: Trump ‘is gonna get us killed’

(INTELLIHUB) — Trumpet-blowing liberal Michael Moore is at it again. The “Fahrenheit 9/11” director and political pundit has been making a number of uncanny predictions about the President-elect as of late. This time, Mr. Moore held nothing back Wednesday in a Facebook post warning: “Donald Trump is gonna get us killed.”

Mr Trump confirmed reports he has been skipping daily intelligence briefings, telling Fox News he is “smart” and doesn’t need to hear “the same thing over and over each day for eight years”. Instead, Mr. Trump said he is receiving intelligence “when I need it”. That, is what lead Mr. Moore to deliver his blistering attack on the President-elect.

“Most would agree the #1 job of the leader of any country is to keep its people safe. There is no more important meeting every day for the President than the one where he learns what the day’s potential threats are to the country,” he said.

“That Trump would find it too cumbersome or too annoying to have to sit through 20 minutes of listening to his top intelligence people tell him who’s trying to kill us today, simply boggles the mind.”

He continued his rant by saying Americans’ minds had been boggled “so many times in the past year by this foolish man no one seems that surprised or concerned.”

“Of course, our minds have been so boggled so many times in the past year by this foolish man no one seems that surprised or concerned. He can get up at 5 in the morning and send angry, childish tweets about how he’s being portrayed on SNL (“Not funny! Unwatchable!”), or belittling the local elected union leader in Indiana, but he doesn’t have time to hear about the threats to our national security.”

He compared Mr. Trump to George W. Bush who he says “lost the popular vote” and describes as being negligent in his attention to security briefings.

Mr. Moore rounded off his mini-essay with an unequivocal message to Mr. Trump about it will be totally his fault when the next terror attack strikes on American soil.

“This utter neglect of duty, a daily snub at the people who work to protect us, the first Commander-in-Chief to literally be AWOL and announcing proudly he isn’t going to change — this, I assure you, is going to get a lot of innocent people killed.”

“[…] it is YOU who will be charged by the American people with a gross dereliction of duty. It was YOUR job to pay attention, to protect the country. But you were too busy tweeting and defending Putin and appointing cabinet members to dismantle the government.”

Mr. Trump is right on his comments about hearing “the same thing over and over each day for eight years.” As we know, the U.S. intelligence community is a complete farce. They cannot be trusted or relied upon to safeguard the best interests of the American people.

Look at 9/11 for example, where the government and the military aided and abetted Al Qaeda in the carrying out of the attack which killed nearly 3,000 innocent people. The same thing happened even more recently with the San Bernadino shooting in 2015.

Mr. Trump’s anti-conventional stance is proving to be a nightmare for globalists who are striving their utmost to make him over in their image. Who says attending the same old intel briefings day by day is the most effective way to be aware of the country’s security level and the threats it faces, anyway? What is not to say that they’re deceitfully covering up the entry of illegal immigrants into the country? Why should Mr. Trump and the American people trust the intelligence community?

Why America Called 'Bullshit' On The Cult Of Clinton

Submitted by Brendan O"Neill via Reason.com,

The one good thing about Trump’s win? It shows a willingness among Americans to blaspheme against saints and reject the religion of hollow progressiveness.

If you want to see politics based on emotionalism over reason and a borderline-religious devotion to an iconic figure, forget the Trump Army; look instead to the Cult of Clinton.

Ever since Donald Trump won the presidential election, all eyes, and wringing hands, have been on the white blob who voted for him. These "loud, illiterate and credulous people," as a sap at Salon brands them, think on an "emotional level." Bill Moyers warned that ours is a "dark age of unreason," in which "low information" folks are lining up behind "The Trump Emotion Machine." Andrew Sullivan said Trump supporters relate to him as a "cult leader fused with the idea of the nation."

What"s funny about this is not simply that it"s the biggest chattering-class hissy fit of the 21st century so far — and chattering-class hissy fits are always funny. It"s that whatever you think of Trump (I"m not a fan) or his supporters (I think they"re mostly normal, good people), the fact is they"ve got nothing on the Clinton cult when it comes to creepy, pious worship of a politician.

By the Cult of Hillary Clinton, I don"t mean the nearly 62 million Americans who voted for her. I have not one doubt that they are as mixed and normal a bag of people as the Trumpites are. No, I mean the Hillary machine—the celebs and activists and hacks who were so devoted to getting her elected and who have spent the past week sobbing and moaning over her loss. These people exhibit cult-like behavior far more than any Trump cheerer I"ve come across.

Trump supporters view their man as a leader "fused with the idea of the nation"? Perhaps some do, but at least they don"t see him as "light itself." That"s how Clinton was described in the subhead of a piece for Lena Dunham"s Lenny Letter. "Maybe [Clinton] is more than a president," gushed writer Virginia Heffernan. "Maybe she is an idea, a world-historical heroine, light itself," Nothing this nutty has been said by any of Trump"s media fanboys.

"Hillary is Athena," Heffernan continued, adding that "Hillary did everything right in this campaign… She cannot be faulted, criticized, or analyzed for even one more second."

That"s a key cry of the Cult of Hillary (as it is among followers of L. Ron Hubbard or devotees of Christ): our gal is beyond criticism, beyond the sober and technical analysis of mere humans. Michael Moore, in his movie Trumpland, looked out at his audience and, with voice breaking, said: "Maybe Hillary could be our Pope Francis."

Or consider Kate McKinnon"s post-election opening bit on SNL, in which she played Clinton as a pantsuited angel at a piano singing Leonard Cohen"s "Hallelujah," her voice almost cracking as she sang: "I told the truth, I didn"t come to fool ya." Just imagine if some right-leaning Christian celeb (are there any?) had dolled up as Trump-as-godhead and sang praises to him. It would have been the source of East Coast mirth for years to come. But SNL"s Hallelujah for Hillary was seen as perfectly normal.

As with all saints and prophets, all human manifestations of light itself, the problem is never with them, but with us. We mortals are not worthy of Hillary. "Hillary didn"t fail us, we failed her," asserted a writer for the Guardian. The press, and by extension the rest of us, "crucified her," claimed someone at Bustle. We always do that to messiahs, assholes that we are.

And of course the light of Hillary had to be guarded against blasphemy. Truly did the Cult of Hillary seek to put her beyond "analysis for even one more second." All that stuff about her emails and Libya was pseudo-scandal, inventions of her aspiring slayers, they told us again and again and again.

As Thomas Frank says, the insistence that Hillary was scandal-free had a blasphemy-deflecting feel to it. The message was that "Hillary was virtually without flaws… a peerless leader clad in saintly white… a caring benefactor of women and children." Mother Teresa in a pantsuit, basically. As a result, wrote Frank, "the act of opening a newspaper started to feel like tuning in to a Cold War propaganda station."

Then there was the reaction to Clinton"s loss. It just wasn"t normal chattering-class behavior. Of course we expect weeping, wailing videos from the likes of Miley Cyrus and Perez Hilton about how Clinton had been robbed of her moment of glory; that"s what celebs do these days. But in the media, too, there was hysteria.

""I feel hated," I tell my husband, sobbing in front of the TV in my yoga pants and Hillary sweatshirt, holding my bare neck," said a feminist in the Guardian. Crying was a major theme. A British feminist recalled all the "Clinton-related crying" she had done: "I"ve cried at the pantsuit flashmob, your Saturday Night Live appearance, and sometimes just while watching the debates." (Wonder if she cried over the women killed as a result of Hillary"s machinations in Libya? Probably not. In the mind of the Hillary cultists, that didn"t happen—it is utterly spurious, a blasphemy.)

Then there was Lena Dunham, who came out in hives—actual hives—when she heard Clinton had lost. Her party dress "felt tight and itchy." She "ached in the places that make me a woman." I understand being upset and angry at your candidate"s loss, but this is something different; this is what happens, not when a politician does badly, but when your savior, your Athena, "light itself," is extinguished. The grief is understandable only in the context of the apocalyptic faith they had put in Hillary. Not since Princess Diana kicked the bucket can I remember such a strange, misplaced belief in one woman, and such a weird, post-modern response to someone"s demise (and Clinton isn"t even dead! She just lost!).

It"s all incredibly revealing. What it points to is a mainstream, Democratic left that is so bereft of ideas and so disconnected from everyday people that it ends up pursuing an utterly substance-free politics of emotion and feeling and doesn"t even realize it"s doing it. They are good, everyone else is bad; they are light itself, everyone else is darkness; and so no self-awareness can exist and no self-criticism can be entertained. Not for even one second, in Heffernan"s words. The Cult of Hillary Clinton is the clearest manifestation yet of the 21st-century problem of life in the political echo chamber.

Mercifully, some mea culpas are now emerging. Some, though not enough, realize that Hillaryites behaved rashly and with unreason. In a brilliant piece titled "The unbearable smugness of the liberal media," Will Rahn recounts how the media allowed itself to become the earthly instrument of Clinton"s cause, obsessed with finding out how to make Middle Americans "stop worshiping their false god and accept our gospel."

Indeed. And the failure to make the gospel of Hillary into the actual book of America points to the one good thing about Trump"s victory: a willingness among ordinary people to blaspheme against saints, to reject phony saviors, and to sniff at the new secular religion of hollow progressiveness. The liberal political and media establishment offered the little people a supposedly flawless, Francis-like figure of uncommon goodness, and the little people called bullshit on it. That is epic and beautiful, even if nothing else in recent weeks has been.

"Democrats Failed Us Miserably" Michael Moore Unleashes Post-Election "To-Do" List

Having nailed the results (and reasons) for Trump"s election victory when all the liberal intelligentsia had their head in the sand, filmmaker Michael Moore exclaims that "Democrats failed us miserably" and lays out his "morning-after to-do list" for the country.

Via Facebook,

Morning After To-Do List:

1. Take over the Democratic Party and return it to the people. They have failed us miserably.

2. Fire all pundits, predictors, pollsters and anyone else in the media who had a narrative they wouldn"t let go of and refused to listen to or acknowledge what was really going on. Those same bloviators will now tell us we must "heal the divide" and "come together." They will pull more hooey like that out of their ass in the days to come. Turn them off.

3. Any Democratic member of Congress who didn"t wake up this morning ready to fight, resist and obstruct in the way Republicans did against President Obama every day for eight full years must step out of the way and let those of us who know the score lead the way in stopping the meanness and the madness that"s about to begin.

4. Everyone must stop saying they are "stunned" and "shocked". What you mean to say is that you were in a bubble and weren"t paying attention to your fellow Americans and their despair. YEARS of being neglected by both parties, the anger and the need for revenge against the system only grew. Along came a TV star they liked whose plan was to destroy both parties and tell them all "You"re fired!" Trump"s victory is no surprise. He was never a joke. Treating him as one only strengthened him. He is both a creature and a creation of the media and the media will never own that.

5. You must say this sentence to everyone you meet today: "HILLARY CLINTON WON THE POPULAR VOTE!" The MAJORITY of our fellow Americans preferred Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. Period. Fact. If you woke up this morning thinking you live in an effed-up country, you don"t. The majority of your fellow Americans wanted Hillary, not Trump. The only reason he"s president is because of an arcane, insane 18th-century idea called the Electoral College. Until we change that, we"ll continue to have presidents we didn"t elect and didn"t want. You live in a country where a majority of its citizens have said they believe there"s climate change, they believe women should be paid the same as men, they want a debt-free college education, they don"t want us invading countries, they want a raise in the minimum wage and they want a single-payer true universal health care system. None of that has changed. We live in a country where the majority agree with the "liberal" position. We just lack the liberal leadership to make that happen (see: #1 above).

Let"s try to get this all done by noon today.

Having been dead right on with his "5 reasons why Donald Trump will win", perhaps some will pay attention to these demands.

However, we are reminded of Glenn Greenwald"s recent concluding remarks that this is a long way from over...

For many years, the U.S. — like the U.K. and other Western nations — has embarked on a course that virtually guaranteed a collapse of elite authority and internal implosion. From the invasion of Iraq to the 2008 financial crisis to the all-consuming framework of prisons and endless wars, societal benefits have been directed almost exclusively to the very elite institutions most responsible for failure at the expense of everyone else.

It was only a matter of time before instability, backlash, and disruption resulted. Both Brexit and Trump unmistakably signal its arrival. The only question is whether those two cataclysmic events will be the peak of this process, or just the beginning. And that, in turn, will be determined by whether their crucial lessons are learned — truly internalized — or ignored in favor of self-exonerating campaigns to blame everyone else.
