Cannabis oil is gathering an unstoppable momentum as a world class healer, and there is little or nothing Western Governments are going to be able to do stop it. Cases are popping up all over the world showing that cannabis oil has healed some very serious diseases, including anxiety disorders, epilepsy, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), cerebral palsy and cancer. This young man healed his stage IV throat, stomach and pancreatic cancer with cannabis oil. This Australian women healed her terminal stage IV lung cancer with it. Wallace Rose in the video clip above explains how cannabis oil cured his stage IV pancreatic cancer. It is a fundamental human right, no matter where you live on the planet, to be able to access and use whatever medicine you want to heal yourself. And, thankfully, we are beginning to see that Governments worldwide will not have the power to stand in the way of this natural right any longer.

What’s the Difference among Cannabis, Hemp and Marijuana?

First of all, let’s clear up some definitions. Cannabis sativa is the plant and species; hemp and marijuana are both varieties or subspecies of it. Marijuana is actually a Spanish slang term meaning “Mary-Jane”. Marijuana is simply considered to have a higher THC content than hemp. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is one of the unique phytonutrients or plant chemicals of cannabis. However, both hemp and marijuana contain various cannabinoids, a class of chemicals that activate cell membrane receptors.

A Brief History of the Suppression of Cannabis

To those unfamiliar with the beginning of the United States, it may come as a shock to learn that hemp was a big part of the inception. Not only was hemp (in all of its forms) completely legal, but also it was actually required to be planted by the early colonists! The Founding Fathers made references to it in their writings and grew it themselves. It was widely know that hemp was an incredible plant with a wide variety of uses: textiles, rope, clothing, paper, fuel, nutrition, medicine and recreation. So how did hemp fall from such exalted status to become an illegal “controlled substance”, for which you could be imprisoned due to mere possession of it?

The answer, as with many of aspects of the global conspiracy, comes back to the mega rich and powerful ruling elite families, in this case the Rockefellers. I have written other articles exposing how the Rockefellers invented modern (Western) medicine and created the Big Pharma cartel as a way to sell their petroleum-based drugs. John D. Rockefeller had the reputation as a ruthless businessman who once said, “Competition is sin.” The prohibition movement of the 1920s to ban alcohol was not really about making America more pure or morally upright. It was about the bottom line; Rockefeller wanted to eliminate competition to oil for fuel for motor-based vehicles. Similarly, the movement to ban hemp was also an attempt to destroy competition to oil-based products. Hemp is a powerful competitor to crude oil in many ways. Thus, the propaganda campaign was launched to demonized hemp and marijuana by inventing the fake phenomenon of “reefer madness”. The brainwashing worked and Congress outlawed the plant in various stages, eventually declaring it a controlled substance in 1970.

What is Cannabis Oil?

Cannabis oil is not to be confused with hempseed oil, which is the nutritional oil made from pressing hemp seeds, and is used as a food not a medicine. Medicinal cannabis oil is made by gathering large quantities of cannabis leaves from female plants, using a solvent to strip off some or all of the THC, and boiling off the excess water to produce a rich, gold or brown-colored concentrate. Science has not yet discovered all of the hundreds or thousands of cannabis phytonutrients which are responsible for the healing effects of cannabis oil, but one of the main ones is CBD (Cannabidiol). Excitingly, CBD is being studied all over the world as people are beginning to realize its phenomenal healing benefits. Many clinical studies have shown that CBD is a very effective painkiller – especially for peripheral neuropathy associated with diabetes, arthritis, MS, cancer and other neurodegenerative conditions. CBD is especially brilliant because it prevents and suppresses inflammation. This means it is both a preventative and curative natural medicine. Chronic low level inflammation, as you may know, is the hidden cause of much pain and many diseases, so the potential for cannabis oil to help a lot of people is huge.

How Does Cannabis Oil Beat Cancer?

All of the cells in our body have cannabinoid receptor sites, including cells which have gone rogue and become cancerous. The brilliant thing about cannabis oil is that its THC and CBD connect to these cannabinoid receptor sites, causing the cell to increase ceramide, which then causes apoptosis or cell death. However, normal cells are unaffected by this, so cannabis oil is a targeted killer of cancer cells, leaving healthy cells intact. It reminds my very much of laetrile (or amygdalin or Vitamin B17) which functions in exactly the same way with cyanide as a targeted killer of cancer. As Dennis Hill writes, “Nature has designed the perfect medicine that fits exactly with our own immune system of receptors and signaling metabolites to provide rapid and complete immune response for systemic integrity and metabolic homeostasis.”

The Unstoppable Momentum of Cannabis Oil in the US

Due to recent changes in State legislation in 2014, marijuana is now legal in 20 of the 50 states in the USA. In 2 of these states (Colorado and Washington), it is fully legalized for recreational use, with Oregon and Alaska to come, while the other states or territories require a medical marijuana license (you can see the state-by-state details here). So it has already come a long way, and will continue to go much further. I predict at one point it will be legal in all 50 states in the US, and eventually throughout the world. There is already legislation pending in other American states, and the US Federal Government just decided in its 2015 spending measure that it would no longer allocate funds to the DOJ (Department of Justice) to enforce marijuana laws. That’s the beginning of the end of Federal cannabis prohibition!

The Unstoppable Momentum of Cannabis Oil Throughout the World

Many countries around the world are leaning towards legalization, including the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Argentina and India, according to this article. Uruguay became the first country in 2013 to fully legalize cannabis. It is also legal in North Korea, believe it or not!

The Case of Cannabis Oil Shows the People Have the Power

Mom: Cannabis Oil Treated my Daughter’s Life-Threatening Seizures

A woman from Tucson, Arizona, says cannabidiol oil (CBD oil) treated her 12-year-old daughter of life-threatening seizures. The young girl suffers from a rare brain disorder and slipped into a coma after she vomited and had a seizure following a gymnastics competition. [1]

Annalise Lujan’s parents rejoiced after only 3 CBD oil treatments brought their daughter out of her coma and halted her crippling seizures.

Her mom, Maryann, said the speed at which their daughter’s illness forever changed her life was stunning.

“One day, she was just a healthy young lady, going to school, participating in her community and her gymnastics, and the next day – fighting for her life.” [2]

Dad Paul said:

“We had no idea that our whole world would be 180-degrees turned around in such devastation, such heartache, such confusion.”

A Young Life Almost Cut Short

On April 2, 2017, Annalise had been competing in a Tucson gymnastics competition. By the child’s fourth event, Maryann said, “she just couldn’t move. She couldn’t walk. She was just exhausted, tired, not feeling well.”

Maryann and Paul took Annalise to Banner UMC, where doctors believed Annalise had a stomach virus, and sent her home. The next night, Annalise had her first seizure, and her parents took her back to the medical center. Once again, doctors sent her home. She was finally admitted to intensive care the following morning, but only after suffering more seizures.

Maryann said Annalise was placed on a ventilator, and she and Paul had no communication with the girl for weeks.

Eighteen days later, Annalise was airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she was quickly diagnosed with an extremely rare disorder known as FIRES – Febrile Infection-Related Epilepsy Syndrome.

Paul said:

“They say 1 in 1 million children will get this syndrome, and that’s how rare it is.”

The charity Rare Diseases says on its website that FIRES causes children to unexpectedly suffer up to hundreds of seizures a day within 2 weeks after contracting a mild febrile illness, such as a cold or cough. Not much is known about the disease, but experts believe it is caused by inflammation in the body or autoimmune disorders. [3]

Desperate to bring Annalise out of her coma, Annalise’s doctor began treating her with cannabis oil, which Maryann said saved the youngster’s life.

Less than 48 hours after her first treatment, Annalise’s seizures had nearly stopped. [1]

Maryann recalled the moment her Annalise emerged from her coma:

“She opened her eyes, and she was scared. She was afraid. She cried. And, I whispered to her that she was very strong, she’s beautiful, and she’s strong, and she needed to keep breathing, and she did.” [2]

Annalise’s doctor had to seek rapid approval from the FDA and DEA. Maryann and Paul hope their daughter’s case-study can help other children living with FIRES.

Maryann said:

“We have a long recovery ahead of us. But, we’re definitely on the right track now.”

Over the past couple of years, The Free Thought Project has reported on many amazing examples of medical cannabis helping people who suffer from debilitating conditions. Numerous videos exist of children’s seizures stopping almost instantly after a dose of cannabis oil.

Adults with Parkinson’s disease can also experience this miracle, as Larry Smith demonstrated in a video where he took medical cannabis for the first time. Smith began suffering from Parkinson’s twenty years ago – developing severe dyskinesia (uncontrolled movements), loss of voice, and tremors – and eventually was taking 20 pharmaceutical medications a day.

In his quest for relief, Smith has “exhausted every conventional method of treatment, every drug, and even brain surgery.” But legalization and acceptance of cannabis and its medical value has swept the nation, and it was only a matter of time before Smith and his wife would consider trying it.

Smith is a former police officer, serving 26 years at the Hamden Police Department until retiring as Captain in 1999. Smith and his wife then moved to South Dakota, where he would open a popular bakery.

As of now, South Dakota remains strictly prohibitionist with no medical cannabis laws, but bills are in the works. They aren’t waiting around for the state to come to its senses, though.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, Ride with Larry, Smith tries medical cannabis for the first time. A fellow Parkinson’s patient visits Smith with medical cannabis and instructs him on how to use it. Smith’s severe dyskinesia is obvious, and he says, “It’s been a rough week.”

As Smith sits on the couch, his friend says to put the applicator under his tongue and rub it in his cheek. “Don’t try to communicate. Just relax. See what happens.”

Soon Smith lays back on the couch, and within a couple of minutes his tremors and dyskinesia have stopped. His hands become rock steady. He seems like a different person, even sitting up and saying, “Did you guys eat lunch yet?”

“A person like me could really use marijuana and it makes me pretty angry that I can’t get it in my home state,” says Smith.

Dr. Daniele Piomelli, director of pharmacology at UC Irvine, says, “The number one frustration that I have is knowing that there is this untapped potential…comes from what marijuana is teaching us…to generate new medicines, and being stuck because of financial issues or political issues.”

As we have said numerous times before, federal government is the biggest obstacle to freedom and medical cannabis healing. The Drug Enforcement Agency is completely devoid of rationality in keeping cannabis a Schedule 1 drug, because it is their cash cow and serves the interest of Big Pharma.

It is past time to end the drug war, so Larry Smith and countless others can treat their debilitating conditions without fear of government throwing them in a cage.

EXCLUSIVE: Mom Becomes Outlaw to Save Daughter’s Life With Cannabis — Now She Can Walk Again

The remarkable transition toward cannabis freedom is a truly great moment in U.S. history. As more lawmakers on Capitol Hill join the fight to defeat federal prohibition, more states are recognizing the benefits of cannabis decriminalization, but there remains wide disparity.

When medical cannabis is outlawed in one state and legal in neighboring states, law-abiding parents must become criminals to heal their children after all other options have failed.

The Free Thought Project interviewed Sarah Ellett, who literally had to flee her home state of Utah to save her daughter’s life without fear of state oppression. Now safe in the state of Oregon, 4-year-old Remie is eating and drinking on her own, walking, speaking and playing.

Remie suffers from multiple debilitating conditions and was not expected to live. She spent the first five months of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit and then continual emergency trips back to the hospital.

But medical cannabis allowed her to beat the odds – and thrive. Not only is she growing now, but she has been able to stop taking some pharmaceutical medications that caused further debilitating effects.

Remie’s story shows that cannabis works for other conditions besides seizures, including the miraculous ability to jump-start the pituitary gland into making growth hormones necessary for life. Before cannabis, Remie was immobilized.

“Remie can walk because cannabis took away her pain and helped her tone, making it so she can stand straight,” said Sarah. “She used to have ankle braces but no more. Cannabis stopped her nausea and helped her to tolerate food. It helped her to start chewing food and swallowing. It helped her to talk…each day she speaks a little more.”

Sarah has experienced her own transformation, from being completely against cannabis to embracing the plant and its ability to heal her daughter. Along the way, she has won over several staunchly conservative Mormon friends in Utah, and spoken with lawmakers who may turn out to be allies in the fight for medical cannabis freedom.

Sarah began considering medical cannabis in 2015 to treat Remie after reading the story of SuperNova, who was experiencing miraculous improvements after her parents moved to Colorado and started giving her cannabis oil. We had the privilege of telling Nova’s story in Dec. 2016 after interviewing her mother.

Sarah’s son, a war veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), also helped her open up to the possibility of using medical cannabis. After getting no help from the Veterans Administration, her son successfully treated himself and is now able to cope with PTSD.

At this time, Remie was not improving, despite several regimens of pharmaceutical medications. Like Nova, Remie suffers from panhypopituitarism, where the pituitary gland is inactive and does not produce the hormones necessary for life. Remie suffers from other conditions affecting the muscles, kidneys and lungs.

Utah passed a law in 2014 legalizing high-CBD extracts, but Remie didn’t qualify under the law, which also required extremely low THC levels.

In 2015, while still in Utah, Sarah obtained a month’s supply of whole-plant cannabis oil from a cancer patient. She started giving Remie very low doses.

Within two to three days, Sarah began to notice improvements. Remie used to wake up every day vomiting due to bronchial spasms; this was the first illness cannabis oil was able to control, where pharma meds – which made her sleepy and grumpy – failed.

Within a week Sarah was able to take Remie swimming, helping her to deal with stress which in turns helps prevent emergency epidoses. After two weeks on cannabis oil, Remie took her first step. Within three to four weeks, at the age of three, she began walking.

Sarah never dreamed Remie could improve so dramatically.

“I gave my daughter oil and at the age of three my daughter finally walked. I came close to losing my daughter.”

As the month’s supply began to run out, Sarah knew she had to take drastic measures to keep Remie on a positive path. She drove to Colorado but couldn’t access medical cannabis without a state MMJ card. So she bought some bubble hash, which is a clean, purified concentrate, and brought it home to make her own tincture.

Of course, this was illegal by federal and Utah law, but legality does not equal morality. Loving mothers will not let unjust laws stand in the way of saving their children. The one-year statute of limitations has passed, and Sarah now feels free to talk about her brave journey.

After being denied medical products in Colorado, Sarah went to Oregon, which at the time allowed non-residents to obtain a medical cannabis card. She brought Remie’s medical records and visited a doctor specializing in medical cannabis treatment.

“I was taken aback at the kindness I witnessed at this clinic,” said Sarah.

Here she began a treatment regimen of cannabis oil comprised of cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), at a ratio of 7mg CBD/0.5mg THC and a dosage schedule of three times per day.

As wonderful as it was to watch her daughter grow, Sarah was compelled to go further. She began talking to local representatives about decriminalizing medical cannabis, telling them Remie’s amazing story.

“People need to see that not only does cannabis stop seizures but it can help with mobility as well especially if the child gets therapy since it helps with pain. If people could only understand that these kids are in pain and need relief to be mobile!”

Sarah was able to meet with her local representative, Ralph Okerlund, whom she described as “very kind and honest.”

“He’d been contacted by other families in his area & his biggest concern was protecting the families from federal recourse. In other words he wanted to see the feds do something & this was the opinion of many of the senators he talked to. He mentioned first that if we can take opium and make medicine from it then he’d like to see what we can do with cannabis.”

Sarah joined other patients to push for support of whole-plant medical cannabis. State Sen. Mark Madsen proposed a bill which would have legalized production, distribution, manufacture and possession within Utah, and expand qualifying conditions. Despite overwhelming public support, the bill failed by one vote.

Sarah and Remie got the attention of Thom Hartmann, who interviewed Sarah in January 2016 on his TV show.

“Would you break the law to save your child even though it could mean losing her, or would you fight the powers that be because you know you’re right?” asked Hartmann during the introduction.

Sarah knew if Utah didn’t pass a comprehensive medical cannabis law, she would have to consider moving to Oregon with Remie and her three other children. It’s a good thing she began planning, because soon after the Thom Hartmann show – where Sarah gave Remie cannabis oil on live TV – the state of Utah planned to take Remie away.

The Utah Division of Child Family Services showed up at her door one day with a regional supervisor, armed with reams of paper including her Facebook posts.

“After [the Thom Hartmann show] the Utah Division of Child Family Services appeared at my door on Jan. 25, and with papers in hand they tried to question me, but I asked them to leave with my lawyer listening on the phone. I then picked up the baby, left the milk on the table, checked the kids from school and left Utah while officers from all over the country were in full parade for 30 miles on the freeway to pay honor to a slain officer. In a way it was quite a dramatic and scary exit from Utah but I didn’t stop and we made it here.

I grabbed a box and threw in essentials such as meds and equipment and the kids’ clothes. I had to keep the car looking pretty cool and not as if we were leaving the state. The state car was parked outside my 11-year-old’s school and I checked her out before anyone could talk to her, telling the secretary we had a doctor appointment.

I acted like life was normal, and my daughter saw my face in the hall and we left as quickly as we could while trying to look like we were going to a doctor appt. But my daughter knew. We had discussed this and I got all my kids in the car and I said, “Okay we talked about this before. Are you ready? Do you want to do this? If not I will take you to Dad’s house right now, but I have to go.” The kids said they were ready & we left.”

A state car followed her to the freeway, but did not pursue. Sarah believes they were going to get a warrant to take Remie away.

“I know that morning it was the opening day of legislation, and someone posted a pic of Remie in the governor’s page that said Pothead across it. I felt that they were trying to make Remie the poster child emergency story to sway the lawmakers. They had been saying that’s what they were doing but I didn’t realize Remie was their child until after I got to Oregon.”

After a two-night stay in Salt Lake City to gather their thoughts and make sure they were doing the right thing, Sarah called relatives to let them know they were safe, and headed to Portland, Oregon. They now live near Eugene.

Remie’s cannabis oil is donated to her and other sick children through the noble efforts of The Forrest Initiative. They are instrumental in keeping Oregon’s medical cannabis program going, at a time when medical dispensaries are under threat by the state’s misapplication of new recreational use laws.

We contacted Tanesha Smelser, executive director of the Forrest Initiative, to get her perspective on the state of medical cannabis there.

“Oregon is in a funny place with its medical marijuana laws, it is not that medical patients are going to be taxed but rather growers and dispensaries are having to choose between being medical or recreational.  No matter how much you love the medical side, no matter where your passion lies- choosing ‘medical only’ means you are dancing with the devil.

My personal experience is that recreational sales make up 75% (or more) of the business in dispensaries.  I’ve heard of shops going from $5k to $10k a day… down to $100.  The other hurdle is Oregon has over 35,000 growers that were able to sell to every dispensary.  Today, there are less than 1,000.

Growers giving away medications are being forgotten. If we are forced to sell the product Remie is using to her so that Oregon gets its tax revenue, she could die.  Parents in this program cannot afford OLCC prices.  We as a community can save lives AND make money.

With almost 70,000 OMMP cards in Oregon do we really want to divert the financial weight back to the healthcare system in the name of revenue? Without affordable access how many ER trips, hospital stays, pain management visits will fall back on the state?

Recreational sales should help medical growers flourish, instead it is suffocating. Oregon is pushing desperate parents to the black market, turning parents into criminals.  Do we really want to be the state that kills our medical program once we get a taste of the money to be made?  I sure don’t.

As it stands right now, we are going to do everything in our power to maintain this program – but it is not easy.”

For now, Remie still gets the cannabis oil she needs to continue thriving. But uncertainty remains as recreational laws take hold and the state seeks to make the most of its new tax base.

Sarah says “a whole bin of meds” is not needed anymore for Remie. She has been able to stop taking asthma and nausea medications, and no longer requires oxygen during the day and usually not at night. Growth hormone medications, including painful shots, have been reduced as Remie is now producing about half of her own growth hormones.

“Her growth is a huge benefit from cannabis. She wasn’t growing, but well after one year of NO weight gain at all, she gained weight when using cannabis – about one pound per month and now she is in the 97^th percentile for body-mass-index, even though she is still very short.

The quality of her life is so much better. She is able to appear as a regular kid and no one really knows how sick her body really is. The neurologist told me this summer that Remie is all there and that her biggest challenge is her speech.”

As in Colorado, doctors cannot discuss medical cannabis or acknowledge its benefits, for fear of harassment by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the possible loss of their medical license. Nevertheless, some doctors have confided that cannabis is helping Remie, especially with growth and to prevent muscle spasms which caused lung pain that brought deadly danger.

Sarah Ellett has a front row seat to the challenging transformation going on with respect to medical cannabis access. Her story shows that parents will not let unjust prohibition laws and threats from government stand in the way of helping their suffering children.

Cannabis Oil Gives Boy With Severe Autism His Speech — Tells Parents ‘I Love You’ for First Time

Kalel Santiago, a 3-year-old boy from Puerto Rico, was diagnosed with autism after suffering a rare form of cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, surgery and radiation treatments, starting when he was only 10 months old.

He had a severe speech delay, meaning that he did not speak at all until age 3.

“While he was in the hospital, we noticed he didn’t speak at all and had some behavior that wasn’t right, like hand flapping, and walking on his toes,” explained Kalel’s father Abiel Gomez Santiago to Yahoo News. “But we waited until he was 3 and cancer-free to look at his behavior.”

Kalel’s parents knew very little about autism at the time, and sought out a way to ensure that their child would be helped. They found measurable success from various schools and therapeutic techniques, including one that used surfing as a means of therapy.

After trying various methods, the Santiago family was made aware of Cannabidiol (CBD) oil as a non-psychoactive treatment for autism.

CBD is one of over a hundred cannabinoids present in cannabis. It can be used as an antitumoral, anti-inflammatory, antiemetic, anticonvulsant, anti-oxidant, anti-psychotic or anxiolytic.

When they were able to obtain CBD oil, Kalel was given small oral doses twice daily. In just 2 days, he began to speak.

“He surprised us in school by saying the vowels, A-E-I-O-U. It was the first time ever,” Abiel said. “You can’t imagine the emotion we had, hearing Kalel’s voice for the first time. It was amazing. The teacher recorded him and sent it to my wife and me and we said well, the only different thing we have been doing is using the CBD.”

“He said, ‘amo mi mama,’ ‘I love my mom,’” Abiel recalled. “I don’t know how to thank [those who made the CBD oil].”
