The Backfire Continues: NRA Breaks Fundraising Records In Wake Of Gun Control Demands

The NRA continues to rake in money in the wake of gun control activists vocally demanding the government strip away the rights of gun owners.  The gun rights lobbying group broke fundraising records in March largely thanks to the gun control crowd.

The numbers don’t lie either. The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund raised $2.4 million from March 1 to March 31 of this year, according to The Tampa Bay Times.  As the March for Our Lives movement captured the mainstream media’s attention because it fit their carefully crafted pro-government narrative, in the weeks after the Parkland shooting, the other side of the gun control debate enjoyed a big month of its own.

The $2.4 million haul is the most money raised by the NRA’s political arm in one month since June 2003, the last month when electronic federal records were readily available. It surpasses the $1.1 million and $1.5 million raised in January and February 2013, the two months after the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

Note that many of the NRA’s highest fundraising months are those after shootings when gun control Nazis seek to disarm the innocent over the actions of a lunatic. Another important tidbit to recognize about this particular fundraising month is that most of the donations, $1.9 million of the $2.4 million total, came from small donors who gave less than $200.  That means regular, everyday Americans are paying what little they have to avoid having even more of their basic fundamental human rights stripped away.

And much to the rights violators dismay, gun control groups haven’t been able to match the NRA’s fundraising. Everytown for Gun Safety’s Political Action Fund raised $13,580 in March while former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ Political Action Committee raised $129,589 in March, according to the Tampa Bay Times.  In fact, much of the demands for innocent people to give up rights is met with resistance and more guns flooding into the hands of Americans.

The March for Our Lives group founded after the Parkland shooting has raised $3.5 million since February 18 via the online service GoFundMe, though that money was put toward organizing marches around the country. BUt big name companies, such as the fashion company Gucci has also publicly announced their own half-million-dollar donation. Those publicly disclosed donations total $2.5 million, meaning a large amount of the donations came from wealth celebrities or corporations.

NASA Astronauts Respond To Plan To ‘Prove Earth Is Flat’

buzzaldrin

If you’ve spent any time on the internet in the past few years, you would know that there is a growing movement of human beings who firmly believe that the Earth is flat. One of those humans, rapper B.o.B, made headlines last week when he created a GoFundMe page to finance his project which he believes will prove the Earth is flat, but astronauts have already responded.

When the astronauts caught wind of rapper B.o.B’s plan they responded to his asinine idea brilliantly. B.o.B’s idea was to “send a satellite as far into space as possible” to take a photo of the Earth, which he believes will look like a map.

Since B.o.B is obviously not a scientist and has a very limited understanding of mathematics, astronauts took some time out of their day to try to save the young man some money.

Buzz Aldrin, one of the first two men to land on the moon, and the second man to actually walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission, then jumped in to derail the hopes of flat-earthers everywhere.

NASA astronaut Scott Kelly also had advice for B.o.B, as well as video evidence that the Earth is round. If he takes the 35 seconds required to watch it, he’ll see just how round the world is, and save his GoFundMe donors the $200,000 he’s asking for.

But B.o.B wasn’t deterred with actual evidence and the eyewitness accounts of men who have actually been in Earth’s orbit.

No amount of evidence will convince those who have already made up their mind what they “feel” is true. No amount of factual data and mathematical analysis will be enough evidence to get people to drop deeply held but wrong beliefs, making the flat-earther, akin to religious cultists.

Thousands Donated To A Woman Who Was Fired For Using A Gun To Defend Herself

jenniferwertz

Jennifer Wertz was fired from her position at a Circle K gas station in Albuquerque after shooting Ferron Mendez as he attempted to rob her. The community has now banded together to donate money to Wertz to help cover for her lost wages.

Mendez pointed a gun towards Wertz during an attempted robbery, making Wertz realize “it was either shoot or be shot.” When asked, Wertz said that she would rather be alive and without a job than dead. Sentiments shared by most human beings. It was later discovered to be an airsoft gun missing the orange tip, but in the heat of the moment, Wertz did what almost any other would have done to preserve their life.

Wertz’s mother responded to her firing by creating a GoFundMe page. After recalling the case, Wertz’s mother explained that her daughter was in need of financial help. The GoFundMe page says:

On 09-18-2017 my daughter was faced with something no person should have to face. That was shoot or be shot. Two armmed robbers came into her work and pointed a gun in her face. She had her gun in her pocket and protected herself and her friends. As a result of saving peoples lives and her own she has now been put out of work for 2 weeks and will most likly lose her job she has had for 5 years. My daughter has 3 kids to care for and needs help now.  The kids are 8, 6, and 2 and with no income she isnt sure what to do. She wont ask for help herself so im doing this for her. She is torn apart emotionally and is in need of time to recover from this ordeal. She has always been a good person, mom, and daughter. She is in need of dire help to support her family. She was already living pay check to pay check and now has no savings or nothing to fall back on. Please help as much as you can to support her and her family until she can find a new job.

The mother of three has now earned over $71,000, which is well over the original goal of $20,000.

Idiots At Snopes Sign Horrible Contract For Ad Revs, Now Begging For Money With Gofundme

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

A key member of Facebook"s ministry of truth, Snopes, has hit a major snag which has forced them to go beg for money. Apparently too cheap or stupid to run a contract for their primary source of income past a competent attorney, the "arbiters of truth" appear to be in major financial trouble after claiming a San Diego outside vendor is holding ad revenues hostage. In response, Snopes set up a gofundme page which has raised over $500,000.

We had previously contracted with an outside vendor to provide certain services for Snopes.com. That contractual relationship ended earlier this year, but the vendor will not acknowledge the change in contractual status and continues to essentially hold the Snopes.com web site hostage.

Unfortunately, we have been cut off from our historic source of advertising income. -savesnopes.com

That "outside vendor" is none other than San Diego based Proper Media, which bought out Snopes co-founder Barbara Mikkelson"s share in the company for $3.6 million following a nasty divorce in which her husband David Mikkelson (who operates Snopes.com) reportedly embezzled $98,000 while he flew around the world banging prostitutes behind Barbara"s ailing diabetic back.

Per the San Diego Union Tribune:

Established in 2003, Bardav, Inc. was the joint venture of Snopes creator David Mikkelson and his then-wife Barbara Mikkelson, who each owned one share and 50 percent of the company. The couple divorced in 2015. In July of 2016, Barbara sold her stake to Proper Media’s five equity holders for $3.6 million.

Prior to the sale, Bardav had contracted Proper Media for web development and advertising services on Snopes.com, with the companies agreeing to split revenue earned from advertisements.

In May, Proper Media filed suit against Bardav and Mikkelson with the San Diego Superior Court of California over ownership of the site, alleging that Mikkelson attempted to gain control over the business and block Proper Media from its share of profits. Snopes counter sued, arguing that Proper Media has not paid Snopes its share of advertising revenue since March. Motions by both the plaintiffs and defendants are scheduled to be heard on Aug. 4.

Who could have imagined that the biased "fact-checking" website run by militantly liberal rabid anti-Trumpers and co-founded by a cheating, whore mongering, cat-abandoning, embezzling degenerate would sign a sloppy contract?

The arrangement with Proper Media follows divorce document revelations that David Mikkelson used a secret PayPal account to allegedly funnel advertising revenue from Snopes into his personal accounts so that he could travel around the world banging whores behind his wife"s back - according to documents obtained by Wesearcher / Gotnews.

And as iBankCoin reported in December, while engaging in debauchery behind his wife"s back using embezzled funds, Mikkelson wrote off just about everything as a business expense. The Snopes co-founder has since settled down and married a [NSFW] part time porn actress, Snopes.com administrator (spicy!), and sex worker. As in, she has a website devoted to being a whore.  Apparently she"s a pretty good one despite being "past her time as an adult model."

No judgement.

In the same divorce papers, David Mikkelson fired back, claiming his ex-wife Barbara took millions from their joint account and bought property in Las Vegas.

Snopes.com Implodes, Resorts To GoFundMe

Via StockBoardAsset.com,

Snopes.com is a liberal blog from 1994.  The website claims to be the internet’s oldest and most popular fact-checking site. Last year, Snopes Co-Founder was accused of embezzling company money, and spending it on prostitutes.

Now you can find the blog begging for $500k in funding via GoFundMe. So, far the campaign has raised $18,000 in 3 hours via 710 people...

Another victim of the fake news campaign backfiring on the left.

"You Afraid Of A Dead Body?" Boys Who Laughed While Man Drowned Will Face Charges

In a news story that sounds like something from Mad Max, a group of Florida teenagers who filmed themselves laughing and cracking jokes while a disabled man drowned, and then left the scene without telling anybody, will face criminal charges after all – but there’s a catch.

The teenagers, each between the ages of 14 and 16, will be charged with not reporting a death, a misdemeanor offense under Florida law. Authorities initially said there didn’t appear to be grounds to prosecute the teens, who were caught on camera mocking 32-year-old Jamel Dunn as he drowned in Cocoa, Florida, according to the New York Post.

The callous crime, which is vaguely reminiscent of the infamous Kitty Genovese slaying in New York City, is indicative of a trend tht has been bothering older Americans since the first signs began emerging in the early 90s. The contemporary breakdown in communal responsibility, fostered by smartphones and digitization of daily life, where violent videos inure children to death and violence. The boys can be heard in the video discussing Dunn’s impending death. One of the boys teased another about being scared to see a dead body, the boy replies “I ain’t scared to see no dead person.”

The disturbing footage, recorded by one of the boys, shows Dunn, who is disabled, struggling and screaming for help in the pondIn response, the boys urge him to get out of the water – “Get out the water you’re going to die!”  Another boy shouts. “We’re not finna help you!”

The recommended charges will be given to the Florida State Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether to prosecute the teens, according to Cocoa Police Chief Mike Cantaloupe.

Even if the boys are charged, misdemeanors typically carry sentences of less than a year, leaving the boys free of criminal records, unless they commit more crimes as adults Cocoa Police Department spokesperson Yvonne Martinez said the teens, ages 14 to 16, had The department didn’t disclose the number of teens involved, or their names.

“He started to struggle and scream for help and they just laughed,” Martinez said. “They didn’t call the police. They just laughed the whole time. He was just screaming … for someone to help him.” The teenagers didn’t stop joking about Dunn when he failed to surface in the water.

“Oh, he just died,” said one as the others laughed.

The teens left the Cocoa park without notifying anyone about Dunn’s death. Three days later, his body was discovered in the pond.

“We are deeply saddened and shocked at both the manner in which Mr. Dunn lost his life and the actions of the witnesses to this tragedy,” State Attorney Phil Archer said in a statememt, according to NBC News.

Dunn’s sister Simone McIntosh started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for his funeral and to help his two daughters.t Dunn’s death. Three days later, his body was discovered in the pond.

$140,000 Raised For Mentally-Ill Victim Of 'Facebook-Four' Hate Crime

A GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the developmentally challenged victim of the brutal attack broadcast on Facebook Live, on January 5, has raised almost $140,000 in three days.

As ABC reports, the GoFundMe campaign called "Let"s show the Chicago victim love" had a goal of $10,000. As of today the account has reached almost $140,000.

Four black suspects (the "Facebook-Four") are facing charges of battery, kidnapping and hate crimes in connection with the attack on the 18-year-old victim. The suspects — two men and two women — are black and the victim is white.

Authorities say the victim was tied up for several hours. Video footage shows the assailants taunting him with profanities against white people and President-elect Donald Trump.

A GoFundMe spokesman confirmed the victim"s family is working with the company on the campaign.

The family, through a spokesman, has declined to comment on the attack, but gave a quick update of thanks on the GoFundMe page...

"We are so extremely grateful for the support and generosity from everyone. We cannot put into words how touching and encouraging it is to Austin and our family to see what great hearts so many people have.

The family is still working with legal and financial advisors regarding the best structure to benefit Austin without negatively impacting his long-term aid from the state, and we have really appreciated all of the feedback and advice many of you have selflessly shared on this topic.

Thanks again for all the generosity, supportive messages and thoughts and prayers... it has been a heartwarming reminder that there is still a great deal of good out there."

Of course, the politically-correct media remains sidelined on its discussion of this horrific race crime because exposing or admitting the possibility that White Teen Lives Matter too would not play well with the narrative.
