The Backfire Continues: NRA Breaks Fundraising Records In Wake Of Gun Control Demands

The NRA continues to rake in money in the wake of gun control activists vocally demanding the government strip away the rights of gun owners.  The gun rights lobbying group broke fundraising records in March largely thanks to the gun control crowd.

The numbers don’t lie either. The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund raised $2.4 million from March 1 to March 31 of this year, according to The Tampa Bay Times.  As the March for Our Lives movement captured the mainstream media’s attention because it fit their carefully crafted pro-government narrative, in the weeks after the Parkland shooting, the other side of the gun control debate enjoyed a big month of its own.

The $2.4 million haul is the most money raised by the NRA’s political arm in one month since June 2003, the last month when electronic federal records were readily available. It surpasses the $1.1 million and $1.5 million raised in January and February 2013, the two months after the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

Note that many of the NRA’s highest fundraising months are those after shootings when gun control Nazis seek to disarm the innocent over the actions of a lunatic. Another important tidbit to recognize about this particular fundraising month is that most of the donations, $1.9 million of the $2.4 million total, came from small donors who gave less than $200.  That means regular, everyday Americans are paying what little they have to avoid having even more of their basic fundamental human rights stripped away.

And much to the rights violators dismay, gun control groups haven’t been able to match the NRA’s fundraising. Everytown for Gun Safety’s Political Action Fund raised $13,580 in March while former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ Political Action Committee raised $129,589 in March, according to the Tampa Bay Times.  In fact, much of the demands for innocent people to give up rights is met with resistance and more guns flooding into the hands of Americans.

The March for Our Lives group founded after the Parkland shooting has raised $3.5 million since February 18 via the online service GoFundMe, though that money was put toward organizing marches around the country. BUt big name companies, such as the fashion company Gucci has also publicly announced their own half-million-dollar donation. Those publicly disclosed donations total $2.5 million, meaning a large amount of the donations came from wealth celebrities or corporations.

Students Rally For Gun Rights, While Praising The Very People Who Will Take Their Guns

gun rights

The students who marched in support of gun rights carried "Blue Lives Matter" flags to signal the fact that they also don"t realize that the real problem is with an increasing police state that continues to infringe upon Americans" liberties in the name of "safety."

Media Narrative Falling Apart: Only 10% of ‘March for Our Lives’ Protesters Were Teens

Media Narrative Falling Apart: Only 10% of

By The Daily Sheeple |

Despite the mainstream media’s unending fixation on the “March for our Lives” protests, their narrative is beginning to crumble.  The media is giving the wrong impression about who made up the march last weekend and one researcher has done the survey to prove it.

It’s not a big surprise the media spins everything in favor of their agenda. They have used propaganda to brainwash the masses for years and this is just one more little bit of evidence that should erode their credibility further. On;y about 10% of those who marched in the “March for our Lives” were actually teenagers.

“My research tells a different story about who participated in the March for Our Lives — and it is more complicated and less well-packaged for prime time,” University of Maryland sociology professor Dana R. Fisher wrote in a Wednesday story for the Washington Post.

Media Narrative Falling Apart: Only 10% of

The students did not pull this off on their own either, as the media is leading everyone to believe.

With the help of some well-resourced benefactors, including Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney, the survivors organized an extraordinary rally in D.C. and sister marches around the country in a mere six weeks.

However, the young faces of the advocates have created an assumption that “youth” and “students” are the core of the movement. My research tells a different story about who participated in the March for Our Lives — and it is more complicated and less well-packaged for prime time. –Washington Post

While the media focuses solely on teenagers, the data tells a vastly different story. Approximately, 90 percent of the crowd was actually adults.

Fisher said that during the March for Our Lives, her team sampled 256 people who were randomly selected (about every fifth person according to her account). This gave the team the chance to provide evidence about who attended the March for Our Lives and why. The average age of adults in the crowd was just under 49. So far, the data set includes surveys collected from 1,745 protest participants.

Like previous gun-control marches, the March for Our Lives was also mostly women. Whereas the 2017 Women’s March was 85 percent, women, the March for Our Lives was 70 percent women.

Even more interesting was that the new protesters (those who hadn’t protested before) were not motivated by the issue of gun control. In fact, only 12 percent of the people who were new to protesting reported that they were motivated to join the march because of the gun-control issue, compared with 60 percent of the participants with experience protesting.  They claim to be protesting wars and Donald Trump in general.

Some, Fisher said, came for entertainment. The march offered a free concert which was done to draw a bigger crowd and many didn’t actually care much about the reason the march was even organized.

Unsurprisingly, 79 percent of those marching identified as “left-leaning” and 89 percent reported voting for Hillary Clinton.

It sure seems like marches are being organized just so people can publicly announce their offense at something and the media can blow it out of proportion.  Propaganda is a fascinating tool to control the public.

‘I’m On A Secret Government Mission’ Says Man Arrested With Weapons Cache

Francho Bradley and his common-law wife Adrianne Jennings were arrested in Boston on Saturday on weapons charges after authorities found a stash of rifles, grenades, and handguns in their hotel room. Bradley says he was on a secret mission for the government and says he owns a company that sells communications equipment to the military.

The cache of weapons was found on the day of the March For Our Lives protest. According to The Daily Mail, in Bradley’s room and car, police found five assault rifles, a shotgun, a revolver and a pistol. They also found hundreds of rounds of ammunition, scopes, bump stocks, walkie-talkies, helmets, and grenades.  “My suspicions grew that he may be surveilling the area. There was a major demonstration, March for Our Lives, in Boston that day,” Detective Patrick Connor

Police also found three parking tickets from Cambridge, a mile from the Boston Common where Saturday’s protest took place. Bradley received the tickets on the three consecutive days before Saturday’s mass protest.

When he was questioned, Bradley told authorities that he was on a secret government mission, but wouldn’t say what the mission was. He claimed he was sent to work on some kind of “virus.” Robert Normandin, who represented Bradley at arraignment, said his client is an Army veteran and that Enysma Engineering sells accessories such as communication devices to the military and other clients.

Normandin said the weapons and accessories were “props” that Bradley uses while conducting that business and none of them were functional, although he didn’t know for sure if any were actually functional or not.

The officers who arrested the pair said they both changed their stories several times and at one stage during interviews, Bradley claimed he had worked for the LAPD and had knowledge about the O.J. Simpson case. He also allegedly claimed to have worked on the Obama campaign and for the German government.

At 3:41 pm, as the protest was coming to an end, Bradley called the police saying his feed was interrupted. He said he has a gun in his room at the hotel and was worried it would end up in the wrong hands. When the officers arrived at Bradley’s hotel room, they encountered an even stranger sight.

No one was in the room but the officers spotted what they thought was a green duffel bag with several “long guns sticking out of it.” It was, in fact, a flight suit which had been rolled up to contain the weapons. It was placed deliberately in the middle of the room as if it was left there for the police to find it.

Among the items found, was a DOD (Department of Defense) concealed carry badge, a Texas license to carry, and a press pass, according to The Daily Mail. His Texas license to carry is valid.

Bradley and Jennings have separate addresses as well. Bradley’s is listed as a four bedroom home worth $322,000 and Jennings’ is a five-bedroom property worth $430,000.

Police are continuing the investigation, and this one keeps getting more and more confusing.

A glimpse into Canada’s March for Our Lives rally and its activists

VANCOUVER (INTELLIHUB) — Press For Truth founder Dan Dicks interviewed a number of Canadian activists who attended Saturday’s March for Our Lives anti-gun rally in an effort to ban firearms in America a country they don’t even live in.

Dicks did a wonderful job of portraying the level and mindset of these far left-wingers who appear to have no real knowledge of firearms themselves and tend to think the government is good by nature.

Rocker Who Survived Mass Shooting Calls Parkland Students ‘Vile Abusers Of The Dead’

The lead singer of the Eagles of Death Metal band is calling out the Parkland students for being “disgusting vile abusers of the dead.” Jesse Hughes, the rocker who survived the Paris mass shooting which left 90 dead in a nation with extremely harsh gun control regulations, is joining the rest of us in becoming disgusted by the demands to remove basic human rights from everyone because of one psycho.

Hughes has been against grandstanding on the bodies of the dead long before the Parkland students decided they’d give it a try to thunderous applause from the media. The lead singer who once said “until nobody has a gun everyone has to,” posted his rant about gun control activists on Instagram.

“Obviously … The best thing to do to combat chronic abusers and disregarders of the law (like the law against Murder) is to … pass another Law,” Hughes wrote in a series of Instagram posts that have since been deleted, Rolling Stone reported. “But before we pass this law we’re going to denigrate the memory and curse ourselves by exploiting the death of 16 of our fellow students for a few Facebook likes and some media attention.”

Hughes then referenced the 2015 attack in Paris, in which his band was performing at the Bataclan concert hall when Islamic extremists’ opened fire on the crowd that left 90 dead, for “how well civil rights abuses as it concerns firearms helped to protect” those in the tragic massacre. Of course, human rights abuses (gun bans) didn’t stop more human rights abuses (mass murder) from occurring in Paris.

Of course, gun control activists only want one thing: all guns. They understand that as long as people are armed, they can tell these tyrants “no.” Once the guns are gone, people may only comply when told to. We could ask the Jews in Nazi Germany how well that worked…oh, no, we can’t…

But Hughes actually understands this and looks at it from a logical point of view, rather than an emotionally driven child-like one. “As the survivor of a mass shooting I can tell you from first-hand experience that all of you protesting and taking days off from school insult the memory of those who were killed and abuse and insult me and every other lover of liberty by your every action,” Hughes wrote.

And the musician didn’t stop there. He went on to detail how “pathetic” and “disgusting” the survivors of the Parkland mass shooting are acting. Hughes criticized the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for demanding gun control after a gunman killed 17 students and faculty members on February 14 for “playing hooky at the expense of 16 of your classmates’ blood,” adding that, “it might be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic and disgusting.” Huges continued saying, “Long Live Rock’n’Roll … and may everyone of these disgusting vile abusers of the dead live as long as possible so they can have the maximum amount of time to endure their shame … and be Cursed …” And with that, Hughes concluded his Instagram tirade.

We couldn’t agree more.  Not one single human being should ever be expected to give up their rights for actions they didn’t commit. It would be nice if the Communists of the world could comprehend this simple moral statement. Yet if they could, they wouldn’t be Communists.

If ‘March for Our Lives’ Really Wanted to Save Lives, They Would Start with Gov’t Violence

government

Marching to end violence is a noble feat indeed. However, when those who stand up to end it, ignore the crimes of their own government, this feat becomes a practice in futility.

As the media and government focused their attention on the thousands of teenagers demanding the state take away their right to self-defense in the March for our Lives rally, these five big stories were buried in the press.

March for Our Lives will ‘start a revolution’…

…Parkland school-shooting survivor says

By MARK OSBORNE   Mar 24, 2018

A student survivor of the mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida, who is helping to lead the March for Our Lives for gun control said today’s protests in Washington, D.C., and around the country “are going to start a revolution.”

“We are sick and tired of the inaction here in Washington and around the country” by politicians who are “owned by the NRA,” David Hogg, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, said on “Good Morning America” this morning. “Today we are going to start a revolution.”

“We will change America with or without these politicians,” continued Hogg, who lost 17 classmates and teachers in the mass shooting on Feb. 14.

Congressional Art Contest a Way for Young People to Send Politicians a Message

This was Maxine Waters’ submitted student entry for 2016, so the competiton didn’t always nix political preferences, at least if the theme favored “progressive” ideology. [Congressional Art Competition]

“The 2018 Congressional Art Competition has officially begun!” an email from my congressman announces. “This is always such a great opportunity to showcase the artistic talent in the district.

“The competition is open to all high school students in the district,” he explains. “Each student is allowed to enter up to four pieces of artwork … The 1st place winner piece will hang in the United States Capitol and the other winners are hung in my Congressional Offices.”

Here’s the website where you can learn more and find out how your young student can participate, assuming they’re not part of the Everytown and Planned Parenthood-sponsored #Marx for Our Lives mobs this weekend.

I’ve written about this before, back when California Rep. Maxine Waters was promoting an idealized student portrait evocative of Barack Obama. Since then, they’ve added some rules, which, if you think about it (and to nobody’s surprise), are probably unconstitutional, seeing as how this is a fegov project designed to enhance the rep’s political standing as a provider of subsidized benefits with his or her (or zir?) constituents:

“Artwork must adhere to the policy of the House Office Building Commission (the Commission). In accordance with this policy, exhibits depicting subjects of contemporary political controversy or a sensationalistic or gruesome nature are not allowed.”

OK, so a picture of an AR-15 with the words “MOLON LABE!” is probably out. And even with Supreme Court decisions in Heller and McDonald, chances are anything specifially Second Amendment-related would get the boot. Even though you and I might not find it “controversial,” the court was divided five to four in each case. Hell, let’s just stipulate all the lies and manipulation have succeeded in creating an unbridgeable gulf between those demanding citizen disarmament and those who believe the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

OK, so how close to the edge can a kid get? What about a poster celebrating citizen resistance to tyranny at Lexington and Concord? How is that controversial to any but America’s enemies?

Or get away from guns and militias altogether. It would be instructive to see contest teachers, judges or polticians nix a celebration of the Constitution and/or Bill of Rights. Freedom of religion ought to also be safe,at least for some — my bet is no one would challenge a picture of a woman in a hijab and the caption “Our diversity is our strength.” It would also be fun to take a poke at the “safe spacers” with a “freedom of speech” entry. Or how about artwork commending keeping the oath of office?

True, in the scheme of things this is small potatoes, but not every advocacy effort need be big and important, and who knows? Seeing something that reflects traditional American freedoms rejected because it offends some repressive social justice warrior’s sensitivities might generate attention. It could also help others see how the vision that was once America has been perverted by those naively entrusted to be its leaders.

With the only voices from young people given media exposure being those demanding that government abridge liberty, you and your children might be in a position to help show that some still believe in the vision of the Founders.

If they like the idea – and that’s important, as we should leave the ideological pressuring of children to the Bloombergians and the Bodysnatchers, here’s how they can enter:

  1. Contact your representative to confirm your district’s participation and obtain specific guidance.

  2. Review the 2018 Rules for Students and Teachers.

  3. Complete the 2018 Student Release Form.

  4. Submit the Student Release Form and any other required materials to your representative by the deadline specified on their website.

If they do enter, please let us know how things went.
