WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — In a bold move President Donald Trump recently recommended that schools become hardened and not softened, and that staffers who conceal carry firearms on campus should be worthy of a bonus.
The president made clear that most school shootings would be deterred if the attackers knew schools were no longer gun free-zones.
“I think a concealed permit for having teachers, and letting people know that there are people in the building with guns you won’t have, in my opinion, you wont have these shootings because these people are a cowards,” the POTUS explained. “They are not going to walk into a school if maybe twenty-percent of the teachers had guns.”
“The people that do carry — we give them a bonus,” the President recommended.

This is what we’ve come to in the United States. Children are getting suspended from school for going to a gun range as a family over the weekend to practice their fundamental human right of self-defense.
According to Fox News, a New Jersey high school came under fire Friday after it allegedly suspended two students over a gun photo taken during a family visit to a shooting range. News of the unnamed students’ suspension circulated through a Lacey Township Facebook group, according to NJ.com.
The kids were both in high school, but their suspension caused an uproar with a potential lawsuit against the school coming. The photo of four rifles, magazines, and a gun duffel bag was shared by one of the students on the social media app Snapchat with the caption “fun day at the range,” according to Lacey Township resident Amanda Buron, a family friend of one of the students.
The school claims that the students violated the school’s policy on weapons possession. Apparently, the school thinks they have the authority to extend any policy to weekends and the homes of the children as well now. This is like suspending a girl for wearing a spaghetti strap tank top to a bar-b-que on a day off school because she violated the dress code. Yes, it’s that insane, but that’s what their policy literally says.
The reality of the whole situation is that the school enacted an overreaching policy, which actually stated that “students could be suspended for up to a year if they are ‘reported to be in possession of a weapon of any type for any reason or purpose on or off school grounds,’” NJ.com reported further. Which basically means, the school is attempting to control kids even when they go home. So don’t practice or exercise your natural human right to self-defense if you attend a public school.
Lacey schools Superintendent Craig Wigley said in an email to NJ Advance Media on Thursday that “information posted on social media is incorrect” and that private matters involving students cannot be discussed. He declined to say what aspect of the accounts posted on social media is inaccurate.
Since the suspension, NJ.com reported that the “Lacey school district quietly changed” the policy, scrapping the off-school-grounds prohibition and eliminating suspension-length specificity. “‘Students are forbidden to carry any type of weapon or simulated weapon to school,’ the revamped policy states. ‘Strict disciplinary action and legal actions will result if this occurs,’” the news outlet detailed.

Everyone is becoming aware of the fact that there is no longer any freedom of speech on any public school campus in the United States. But supporting freedom and liberty and advocating for less government intrusion in our lives is met with hostility and often worse, as one student carrying a pro-gun sign found out.
On Wednesday, a student at a high school in Minnesota joined his classmates who were participating in the National School Walkout and was singled out and removed by his principal for holding a sign that said, “Guns Don’t Kill People, People Kill People,” reported The Daily Wire.
Most of the altercation was captured on video, and posted to Facebook, although it isn’t seen what happens both before and after the principal approaches the singled out student. Kenny MacDonald, a student at New Prague High School in New Prague, Minnesota posted the short video, saying:
Kids at our school today walked out, in honor of the 17 students killed in Florida. Students held signs that said, “Arm our teachers” they had two signs. A student walked out without saying a word peacefully put up his sign which said “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” he was escorted off the property by our principal and threatened to be put into a police car. This violates the first amendment and makes me sick that they can do whatever they want. Please make this go viral. Location: New Prague High school, Minnesota.
Again, it bears mentioning that the short video does not show the student acting up or causing a scene, only the principal removing him. What happened before the filming began is entirely speculative.
The goal was to make sure this video goes viral, letting it be known that there are many out there who want not only gun rights destroyed in favor of a more powerful government (because that’s never ended badly before ever, right?) while also stripping your right to free speech away. Liberty and freedom shouldn’t be taboo. No matter how hard anyone in the government, the media, or leftists try to spin it, freedom is not extreme. Controlling others is extreme.

Having spent about eighteen years in school buildings as a student and twenty-nine years in school buildings as an unarmed teacher, fifteen of them post-Columbine, I think I have a right to voice an opinion on this matter. I’m pretty proficient with firearms, yet I faced each day of teaching knowing that I could easily be shot down right along with my students!
So, school administrators, board members, parents, and anybody else responsible for the kids in your community, is your school safer this week? If it is, great work. Thanks for getting at this important task. If not, WHY not! Are you not angry enough yet? I am angry, and I don’t blame students around the country for being angry. Why would they NOT be angry; they are at risk, and nobody seems interested in actually fixing the problem. And I can’t blame an immature sixteen-year-old for placing all the blame on guns; there are plenty of adults who can’t get past that false notion themselves.
I want to know – are you one of the many school administrators just sitting around this week philosophizing and pontificating over coffee about gun control fantasies and improvements needed in the mental healthcare system? Meanwhile, hundreds of unprotected, innocent young people are streaming into your buildings every morning. Since you’ve probably devoted much of your life to obtaining multiple degrees, you are likely well prepared to be a very confident and polished speaker when the national news stations stick their microphones in your face. But if tragedy strikes YOUR school system next week, next month, next year, tomorrow, are you prepared to sacrifice the lives of your students, all the while knowing that there were some pretty effective preventative measures that could have been taken.
I have a shocking newsflash for you, the 2nd Amendment is not going anywhere, and the mental healthcare system and better background checks are not going to be fixed by next Thursday. How about you do what you can NOW! Just consider me naïve, but I think it’s absolutely stunning that every school system in the country has not scoured its budget this week and trimmed some fat, “fat” that could hire some armed security for their campuses, maybe some stronger doors and windows at access points, along with other forms of real security. And if you think youngsters are going to be traumatized by armed guards, they’ll do just fine. REAL trauma is when somebody is terrorizing them with a bomb or a gun.
I like to think if I were in your position that I would already have been meeting with board members, county commissioners, the mayor, the governor, number crunchers in the systems, teachers, building administrators, etc. on an urgent mission to get my buildings and campus as secure as possible RIGHT NOW! Kids’ lives depend on it. Local police departments, along with parents, reserve deputies, and volunteer veterans, could have a serious impact on your security right now, tomorrow morning, when those precious kids get off the bus or drive into the student parking lot.
As left wing politicians have meetings and strategize how they can use these tragic events to promote their gun control agenda, there are very disturbed individuals out there amongst us right now looking for violent ways to “get even” with the world and be the dominate topic on CNN and Fox News for the next two weeks. Why this is not being addressed in every single school building in the country this week in very practical fashion is just beyond me. We can fret and fight over “gun control” NEXT WEEK. We can work on improving the mental healthcare system NEXT WEEK. We can work on making sure serious mental health history shows up on background checks NEXT WEEK. THIS WEEK is when our kids are sitting ducks in all your “gun free zones” that are “gun free” only until somebody with evil intent shows up with one.
As someone in the news stated this week, “The next school shooter is out there, and he probably has a gun,” which would create a sense of urgency in MY mind if I were at ANY level of responsibility in any school system. And, of course, the threat might not even be a severely disturbed teenager; it might just be a hate-crazed religious fanatic from across the globe with an AK47, or a truck, or a bomb.
How about we get the school buildings and our kids protected NOW!

An American nightmare unfolded Wednesday afternoon at a South Florida high school after police say an expelled teenager returned to campus and opened fire with an assault rifle, killing 17 and wounding 15 more in the worst school shooting in Florida history.
Just before dismissal at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, thousands of students puzzled at the sound of an unexpected fire alarm were launched into a panic when gunfire punctuated the din. As teachers and students fled through hallways and hid under desks, a gunman opened fire, leaving a trail of bodies and chaos in his wake.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office says Nikolas Cruz, 19, walked the halls of the high school wielding an AR-15 and multiple magazines. U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson told reporters that Cruz pulled a fire alarm and then, wearing a gas mask, began tossing smoke bombs and shooting people as they ran through the haze.
Police say Cruz, known to other students as a loner obsessed with weapons, shot his way onto campus. He gunned down a dozen people inside buildings on the school’s sprawling campus, two more on the grounds, and one more on the corner of Pine Island Road as he fled. Two more died at the hospital. Many underwent surgery at Broward Health hospitals.
The shooter managed to make it off campus before he was taken into custody by police near the community entrance to Pelican Pointe at Wyndham Lakes in Coral Springs. He was transported to Broward Health North, and then sped away from the hospital in a police escort.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office says the school, home to about 3,200 students, had been cleared by early evening. They did not identify any victims.
“It’s a day that you pray, every day when you get up, that you will never have to see. It is in front of us. I ask the community for prayers and their support for the children and their families,” said Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie, appearing at a media staging area near the school. “Potentially there could have been signs out there. But we didn’t have any warning or phone calls or threats that were made.”
The shooting began just before dismissal around 3 p.m. Police say Cruz walked onto campus, and shot his way into a school building. Then he pulled a fire alarm.
Students and teachers were puzzled because the school had already held a fire drill that day. Still, some left their bags by their desk and walked out of their classrooms.
“Six kids ran back into my room, and I locked the door, turned out the lights and had the kids go to the back of the room,” math teacher Jim Gard said. “I told the kids to hang in there, it may still be a drill.”
It wasn’t.
On the first floor, Rebecca Bogart was in holocaust class when bullets shattered a window into the room and struck at least one classmate. Rebecca, 17, said she hid under her teachers desk.
“Four kids in my class were hurt. There was blood everywhere. I’m so glad to be living right now,” she said. “I knew what gunshots sounded like, but not that loud or extreme. It smelled Smokey.”
Police say Cruz was all over the campus during the assault. One student told Miami Herald news partner WFOR-CBS4 that at one point he ascended to the third floor. In a theater class bathroom, Sarah Crescitelli typed a text to her parents: “If I don’t make it I love you and I appreciated everything you did for me.”
A video posted to social media showed students hiding under desks, screaming as at least 20 gun shots rang out. Some students believed there was a second shooter at the school. Some at the school said a football coach and security guard, Aaron Feis, was shot when he jumped in front of several students, although that report remains unconfirmed.
Geovanni Vilsant, 15, said he was in a Spanish classroom in the three-floor 1200 building when the fire alarm went off. Two minutes later, gun shots rang out enveloping the building in explosions, he said.
Geovanni, a freshman, said he saw three bloody bodies on the floor as he was fleeing the school.
“There was blood everywhere,” he said. “They weren’t moving.”
Israel, whose triplets once attended the high school, called the shooting a “detestable act” and “catastrophic.”
He did not name a motive for the shooting, which he said doesn’t immediately appear to have been prompted by any confrontation and federal authorities don’t believe is related to terrorism. Nor did Israel explain why Cruz was expelled from school beyond saying that it was for disciplinary reasons.
But Gard, the math teacher, told the Miami Herald that Cruz, 19, had been identified as a potential threat to fellow students in the past. He believes the school administration had sent out an email warning teachers that Cruz had made threats against other teenagers in the past. Another student interviewed by the Miami Herald said Cruz was punished once for having bullet casings at school.
“We were told last year that he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on him,” said Gard, who said Cruz had been in his class last year. “There were problems with him last year threatening students, and I guess he was asked to leave campus.”
But he returned Wednesday, re-upping America’s troubled history with guns and forcing police and parents to confront their worst fears.

HOUSTON (CN) – A black Texas high school student and her mom claim in a federal lawsuit that the principal expelled her last week for sitting through the Pledge of Allegiance, after which the school secretary told her, “This is not the NFL.”
Kizzy Landry sued Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District and Windfern High School Principal Martha Strother on behalf of her daughter India Landry, a senior at the school, on Saturday in Houston federal court. They are represented by prominent Houston civil rights attorney Randall Kallinen.
With more than 115,000 students spread over 91 campuses in suburban Houston, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is the third largest school district in Texas. Its student body is 44.8 percent Hispanic, 24.6 percent white, 17.8 percent African-American and 9.3 percent Asian, according to the district.
The Landrys say in the lawsuit, which identifies India by her initials, that India had sat through the Pledge of Allegiance around 200 times in the district’s classrooms without incident before Oct. 2.
According to the complaint, she was sitting in Strother’s office at 9:30 a.m. that day with Strother and the school secretary Mrs. Walters when the pledge was recited over the school intercom.
“I.L. continued to sit. Principal Strother upon seeing this immediately expelled I.L. from school saying ‘Well you’re kicked outta here,’” the lawsuit states. (Emphasis in original.)

India says she was taken to the office of Assistant Principal Penny Irwin-Fitt, who told her to call her mother to come pick her up and said a district police officer would escort her from the building if her mom didn’t get there in five minutes.

“Mrs. Walters said, ‘This is not the NFL.’ Ms. Fitt said India was going to stand for the pledge like the other African-Americans in her class,” the complaint states.
Neither Walters nor Irwin-Fitt are defendants in the lawsuit, which doesn’t include their first names.
“Strother had recently been whipped into a frenzy by the publicity of African-American National Football League players kneeling during the National Anthem at NFL football games,” the lawsuit says.
Kizzy Landry says she picked up her daughter a half hour after Strother expelled her, and unsuccessfully tried to get an explanation from Strother, who would not see her.
The mother called school administrators on Oct. 3 and 4 to see if India could return to school, she says, and Strother finally agreed to meet with her the morning of Oct. 5.
“Principal Strother iterated that India must stand for the pledge to be let back in at Windfern. Principal Strother said that sitting was disrespectful and would not be allowed,” the complaint states.
It continues, “Principal Strother suggested that India write about justice and African-Americans being killed. Ms. Strother then said the meeting is over and if India does not stand for the pledge she cannot return to Windfern.”
Kizzy Landry says a reporter from Houston’s CBS affiliate KHOU called her later that morning about the “pledge controversy” and the station aired a story about India’s expulsion the same day.
The coverage apparently led Strother to reverse her decision to expel India, as she called the Landrys the next morning, according to the complaint.

“Strother called and said now India could sit for the pledge. India returned to Windfern at 10:30 a.m.,” the lawsuit states.
India told the New York Daily News she started sitting for the pledge during her freshman year, and that police brutality and Donald Trump’s presidency are two reasons she continues to sit.
“I don’t think that the flag is what it says it’s for, for liberty and justice and all that. It’s not obviously what’s going on in America today,” India told KHOU.
The Landrys seek punitive damages for alleged free speech and due process violations under the First, Fifth and 14th Amendments.
The school district did not immediately respond Monday to a request for comment on the lawsuit.
After several shootings of black people by white police officers in 2015 and 2016, former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started kneeling during the national anthem before games.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder,” Kaepernick told reporters in August 2016.
Kaepernick led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2013. He is still widely regarded as a top talent, but no NFL team signed him to a contract for the 2017-2018 season. Critics say NFL owners are blackballing him for his protests.

President Trump stirred up the controversy last month when he said at a rally in Alabama that NFL owners should fire players for kneeling during the national anthem, advising the owners to say, “Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, he’s fired. He’s fired!”
Trump also said if fans leave the stadium when players kneel during the national anthem, “I guarantee things will stop.”
Vice President Mike Pence took Trump’s advice on Sunday and walked out of a game between the 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts in Indiana because several 49ers players kneeled during the national anthem. Pence was Indiana’s governor from 2013 through 2016.
“I left today’s Colts game because @POTUS and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem,” Pence tweeted.

“The activity can cause concussions, and neck and wrist injuries,” Principal Todd Gribbon told The North Bay Nugget, referencing cartwheels.
New playground rules at M.T. Davidson Public School in Callander, Ontario, ban cartwheels, even though no injuries have occurred.

The rules are in a new school handbook that is scheduled for approval this week.
M.T. Davidson is far from alone in going to great lengths to protect kids from ordinary activities.
Cartwheels have been banned at some schools in the United Kingdom and Australia. Earl Beatty Public School in Toronto banned all hard balls in 2011, the CBC reported. That ban included soccer balls, which are considered hard.
“Kids were coming in complaining of injury, or being scared,” Principal Alicia Fernandez said of the ban.

When I was a kid I had this very strong feeling that no matter what, I would be OK if I dropped out of school. Strange! To be so young and yet have those thoughts. But they proved to be one of the biggest inspirations behind what I now do for my life’s work. Which is helping to create a consciousness shift in our world and creating Collective Evolution.
It was strange at the time, because it started when I was in elementary school. Something always made me feel like my potential or my skills were actually being held back in some sense by continuing with school. The more I heard of some of the world’s smartest and most successful people being drop outs, the more I was intrigued.
The older I got, the more I my intuitive feeling about being OK if I left school got stronger. One day, I finally dropped out of college for good and my entire life began to change. I went through a process of unlearning some of what I had been taught in school about myself, my knowledge, my beliefs, and even how I defined my intelligence.
Several times throughout my education I thought I was stupid or not as intelligent as my peers because of the way school functioned and how we were graded. I put faith in what my grades meant and in the importance of what I was learning to some degree. And as I struggled to find interest in memorizing what I felt were useless facts, or supposed facts, I felt I wasn’t smart.
But as I got older that feeling changed. Soon enough I knew more about who I was and what I was good at. I discovered where my brilliance was and what I was meant to do. As I began to act on that how my life unfolded was incredibly. I share my journey and where I ended up in my TEDx talk which you can check out below.
I want to get deeper Billy Willson’s story, because like Billy, I had a near perfect GPA at the time that I dropped out of college.
All of the information you need in to learn things these days is online -or at least almost all of it. Now this isn’t to take away from what valuable things you can learn in school, but this is to say that the way we educate today needs to dramatically change for many reasons. But that is a whole different discussion.
One student, Billy Willson, from Kansas State University, realized after finishing a semester with a 4.0 GPA that college was a giant financial scam.
“I purposely made the post controversial because I knew it would help it spread so much farther,” Willson told USA TODAY College. “My goal with getting it to go viral is to reach out to those students who feel like they don’t have a choice, and to encourage those in similar situations as me to reach their goals and feel comforted in the fact they have someone to relate to.”
Willson made a public notice about his decision to leave college and shared a telling photo and description on Facebook. it went viral and you will see why.
Willson also says he has a problem with the pressure facing students to go to college, and the lack of other options for people for whom college may not be the best path.
“I quickly realized that I was learning so much more outside of class than I was inside of class (by) reading and informational videos on YouTube,” Willson says. “I feel like there are a lot of other students just like me who are really driven to learning and it doesn’t matter what the platform is, they’ll learn anywhere they go.”
“Now that I’ve finished my first semester I think it’s safe to say… FUCK COLLEGE. Now before all you of you go batshit crazy… i have a few points to make.
1. Yes I have dropped out after finishing my first semester (with a 4.0 GPA). And it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Not because I am averse to learning, but actually the exact opposite.
2. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will see it some day. Heck you may have already seen it if you’ve been through college. You are being put thousands into debt to learn things you will never even use. Wasting 4 years of your life to be stuck at a paycheck that grows slower than the rate of inflation. Paying $200 for a $6 textbook. Being taught by teacher’s who have never done what they’re teaching. Average income has increased 5x over the last 40 years while cost of college has increased 18x. You’re spending thousands of dollars to learn information you won’t ever even use just to get a piece of paper. I once even had an engineer tell me “I learned more in my first 30 days working than in my 5 years of college.” What does that tell you about this system? There are about a million more ways you’re being scammed into this.. just watch the video I’m gonna comment if you want to see more.
3. Colleges are REQUIRING people to spend money taking gen. ed. courses to learn about the quadratic formula (and other shit they will never use) when they could be giving classes on MARRIAGE and HOW TO DO YOUR TAXES.”
Though Willson’s math may be slightly off, it is close. One study by the Government Accountability Office saw a 3x increase in tuition, relative to the increase in living expenses.
GAO found that:
(1) between 1980 and 1995, average tuition at 4-year public colleges for in-state, full-time students increased 234 percent, while median household income increased 82 percent and the Consumer Price Index increased 74 percent;
(2) the increase in colleges’ expenditures and a greater dependency on tuition as a revenue source were the two factors most responsible for the tuition increase;
(3) tuition revenues increased from 16 percent to 23 percent during this period, mainly because the revenue share provided by states decreased 14 percent;
(4) student grant aid has not kept pace with tuition levels, so students and their families are relying more heavily on loans and personal finances;
(5) increases in instruction, administrative, and research costs accounted for more than two-thirds of the 121 percent increase in total college expenditures;
Unless you want a job that requires a specific piece of education or unless you are very clear on what you want to do (and education is required) don’t rush into school and don’t let society pressure you to take its apparent importance seriously.
I created a very successful business built around my passion. I hired my friends, love what I do and we are changing the world together. Can this be the story for anyone? Sure! Why can’t you do something you love? Why is that even taboo to think?
If you are passionate about something, know how to take action on it and work at it, it will work out. It’s one of the key ingredients to almost every success story you hear out there.
I tell young people all the time now, truly focus on what you love and then make a decision about school. But learn! Learn as much as you can through life experience, work and other interests. More importantly, focusing on developing you! Self awareness, inner peace, knowing who you are, these skills are incredibly important and will take you further than anything else.

Tom Hearn, a Member of the Board of Trustees for the CDA school district posted on FB that he wanted to tear down statues throughout the country erected by “White Nationalists.” I took great offense to this as he has no idea why any of these statues were erected in the first place. Hearn also happens to be a well-known anti-Christian bigot (he once wrote an article titled, “Why do THEY move here?” referring to Christians). I have a daughter in the 1st grade in this school district. I decided to ask the other board members if they share this view about censoring history because they are tasked with TEACHING IT!
Weeks ago, I filled out the forms to “get on the agenda” as is required by their policy. I received a phone call from the Chairman of the School Board. He talked to me about what I filled out. A few days ago, I received a letter from the same chairman stating that not only would I not be permitted to speak for ten minutes as part of the agenda… but incredibly, I would not be permitted to speak on this issue during the 3 minute comment period which is always open and available for the community.
So I held a fake book-burning outside the building on a “burn pile” rhetorically asking the Board which historical figures we need to erase from history and throw on the burn pile. Then I went into the meeting and confronted them. I decided that I’d rather commit civil disobedience and risk an arrest than let them get away with this.

Criminal and foreigner Barack Hussein Obama has, in the not too distant past, added to his long train of abuses against We the People in the education of American school children.
However, it didn’t begin with Obama. This has been going on incrementally through administration after administration. “No child left behind” is really “No child left un-indoctrinated” through George W. Bush, which is nothing short of Communism.
In an attempt to level the playing field, they teach America’s posterity to shoot for the floor rather than aim for the stars.
Then, there is also, GLOBE. GLOBE stands for Global Learning & Observation to Benefit the Environment. Mikhail Gorbachev is the head of an organization called Green Cross International, operating right here in the United States. Gorbachev is working to create world government and he is helping implement this education scheme. He has also joined partnership with UNESCO, which is the source of much of the anti-American education curriculum, as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. This GLOBE program is funded and implemented through the Federal Department of Education, created under Goals 2000, and now carried over in “No Child Left Behind.”
And don’t forget about International Baccalaureate, which is a global scheme conceived in Geneva, Switzerland in 1968 and now making its way into American schools.
Among the things it promotes are:
1) Earth Worship.
2) Evolution.
3) Socialized Medicine.
4) World Government.
5) Animal Rights (animals seen as brothers and sisters).
6) Redistribution of American Wealth to other nations.
7) Contraception and “Reproductive Health” (legal abortions).
8) Debt Forgiveness to third world nations.
9) Adoption of the gay rights agenda.
10) Elimination of the right to bear arms.
11) Setting aside massive amounts of private land where no human presence is allowed.
Back to criminal Obama. Obama illegally implemented an extensive overhaul of public education from kindergarten through high school, bypassing Congress, the voice of the American people, and forcing states to agree to major changes that none of his predecessors attempted.
Apparently, Obama, the self-proclaimed “Constitutional Scholar,” hasn’t taken the time to read Article 10 of the Bill of Rights. The federal government has no business whatsoever in the education of American children.
Obama sought to implement something called the Common Core Standards, which has been implemented in 46 states and D.C., drowning students with mostly “informational text” and historical documents.
Some of the non-fiction texts that will be implemented into school curriculum are “FedViews,” by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (2009) and “Executive Order 13423: Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management,” published by the General Services Administration.
In 2011 in the state of Arkansas, Middle School Teacher of the Year Jamie Highfill said, “I’m struggling with this, and my students are struggling. With informational text, there isn’t that human connection that you get with literature. And the kids are shutting down. They are getting bored. I’m seeing more behavior problems in my classroom than I’ve ever seen.”
The curriculum change in public schools has been a downward spiral for many years. America has been so dumbed down that 700,000 students per year graduate without the ability to read their own diplomas.
Add to students’ confusion the innumerable amount of errors in school textbooks ranging from misinformation to omission of facts or outright lies. These “errors” can be found in virtually every subject, especially in math, science and history.
Math:
In Texas, the State Board of Education found a total of 109,263 errors in math textbooks reviewed for use in 2008 alone. Yes, I said 109,263 errors. The board had to go so far as to place a possible fine of $5,000 per error found if they were not fixed by spring of the same year.
Science:
In textbooks all across America, science (the study of Creation) is well-known for being laced with the dangerous theory of evolution, which wars against Christianity, the Bible, God and His Law, which is the foundation of our Republic.
Andrew Jackson said, “The Bible is the rock upon which our republic rests.”
That is why evolution was illegal to teach in schools at the time of the 1925 Scopes Trial.
In complete contradiction to America’s foundational principles, the National Education Association agrees with humanism. Humanism is summed up in the following excerpt by John Dunphy in his article, “A Religion for a New Age”:
“The Bible is not merely another book … it has and remains an incredibly dangerous book. … I am convinced that the battle for humankind’s future must be waged and won in the public classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as the proselytizers of a new faith. … These teachers must embody the same dedication as the most rabid fundamentalist preachers, for they will be ministers of another sort, utilizing a classroom instead of a pulpit to convey humanist values in whatever subject they teach. … The classroom must and will become an arena of conflict between the old and the new – the rotting corpse of Christianity, together with all its adjacent evils and misery, and the new faith of humanism, resplendent in its promise of a world in which the never-realized Christian ideal of love thy neighbor will finally be achieved.”
How far are they willing to go?
History:
In Virginia, a state review committee found a slew of errors in many history textbooks. A committee of five historians caught errors ranging from the incorrect year John Rolfe married Pocahontas to quotes that do not even appear in historical records. One book illustrated Virginia soldiers in the Revolutionary War wearing red coats, when in fact they wore blue. Another textbook erroneously stated many colonial Americans were illiterate. In fact, literacy rates were extremely high.
Retired Library of Virginia historian Brent Tarter wrote in his review of one textbook, “Our Virginia,” “I also found some very significant omissions, some internal inconsistencies, and some erroneous or questionable descriptions and analyses of historical events. Some are so ludicrous and difficult to explain that I cannot understand where the misinformation came from.”
Muslim Indoctrination:
In recent years, American public schools have also been indoctrinated with the Muslim religion. Studies have shown over 500 historical errors in public school textbooks, giving an Islamic slant to our youth.
As a result, our youth are subject to the following teachings:
They are even subjecting elementary school students to the D.A.R.E. program, which has statistically proven to educate the students as to how to commit the crime of drug abuse rather than prevent it.
What of antidepressants prescriptions? They are simply attempting to set students up for the fall by prescribing dangerous psychotropic drugs.
Leon Eisenberg (Father of ADHD), in his last interview before his death, said, “ADHD is a prime example of a fictitious disease.”
There has been a dramatic rise in the sale of antidepressants in the past decade alone. According to IMS Health, sales of antidepressants in the United States surpassed $11 billion in 2010.
Antidepressants are one of the most commonly prescribed drug classes. Four out of five physicians prescribing antidepressants are not even psychiatrists, and the drugs are increasingly being given for non-psychiatric uses.
This dramatic increase in usage could possibly be in direct connection to the controversial TeenScreen survey given to children as young as 9 years old in public schools. TeenScreen has been responsible for policing the mental health of students over the past decade.
More and more public schools have brought in the manipulative survey for children, setting them up for a prescription. For example, one of the questions asked is: “Has there been a time when you felt you couldn’t do anything well or that you weren’t as good-looking or smart as other people?” Another question is: “In the last year, has there been any situation when you had less energy than usual?”
Nearly 20 percent of students who take the survey are then labeled mentally ill, which leads to a prescription. This process is being sold as suicide prevention; however, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force found “no evidence” that screening for suicide risk reduces suicide attempts.
In past generations, parents would train their children in the way they should go, using the rod of correction (Proverbs 22) to drive foolishness from the hearts of their children, while the pharmaceutical companies compete for the position contrary to that which God commanded.
In the meantime, pharmaceutical companies are raking in hundreds of millions of dollars a day while America’s students are used as political and medical guinea pigs.
Most Americans don’t even realize that Obama was attempting to deputize the medical industry to screen the mental health of every American.
Herein lies the “attention deficit.” The deficit lies within the responsibility of the parents, not the child.
To further add insult to injury with the help of the NEA, students are being made a prey to teachers.
The homosexual agenda is being forced onto the young.
The real question to ask here is “Why are there public schools?”

As I said, the federal government of the United States of America has no lawful authority over the education of the young.
The Tenth Amendment to the Constitution states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
For as much as I know that the American people would like to blame Barack Hussein Obama for all of his illegal acts and things he implemented, and rightly so, I have to divert from this criminal to the people that are responsible for sending their children off to the cesspool of Un-American, Un-Constitutional and therefore, illegal indoctrination of indoctrination centers known as public schools.
The reason this is happening: 86 percent of the American people who call themselves Christian conservatives are the ones sending their kids into public schools to be indoctrinated in a worldview they claim they despise.
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
William Bennett, Former Education Secretary under Ronald Regan said, “In America today, the longer you stay in school, the dumber you get…”

If your kids are enrolled in school, you know that back to school shopping can make this the second most expensive time of the year.
This year, the National Retail Federation expects back to school spending to reach $83.6 billion dollars. This is a 10% increase over last year’s spending. The average expenditure is $687.72 per child. (source)

I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever spent anywhere near that amount of money on back to school stuff for both of my kids combined. It does not have to be this way.
When many Americans can barely make ends meet from month to month without any additional expenses, the pressure to spend money on back to school shopping can be the source of a great deal of stress. Add to this that now, many schools send home a list with kids requiring parents to supply boxes of kleenex, hand sanitizer, and other classroom supplies that can really strain a budget. It’s embarrassing to be put on the spot like that, but don’t be afraid to say no or simply ignore the request. If you can’t do it, you can’t do it.
While we, as adults, can tighten the budget relentlessly on items for ourselves, it’s can be a lot harder to enforce frugality on the kiddos. But by ignoring the financial restraints and spending with reckless abandon on our kids, I don’t believe that we are doing them any favors. The economic outlook doesn’t appear to be improving for many families, as jobs get cut and prices continue to go up. In a world like this, showering your children with false prosperity doesn’t prepare them to survive and thrive.
It doesn’t have to be like this. You can create a budget and stick to it.
First things first, a budget is a must. This is dependent on your personal means. There is one simple rule here: no matter what your children believe that they “need”, it has to fit into the budget.
For years, I have used the envelope method for things like Christmas and back-to-school shopping. It’s fair, it’s efficient, and it’s tangible. This way, I not only stayed within budget, but I taught my kids about budgeting also.
Both of my daughters are very financially responsible and handle money well because they have been making their purchases fit the existing budget since they were old enough to perform the necessary math to do so. There have been years that they made poor choices that they regretted, but by allowing them to do this, they learned a lesson that you just can’t teach with a verbal warning.
If your kids have summer jobs, then they will have the freedom to buy some of those expensive “want but don’t need” items. My kids always had jobs in the summer – they babysat, they did farm chores, and they did one time projects like cleaning out the garage, painting the fence, etc. While they were certainly allowed to supplement their budgets with their own money, quite often they saved for a bigger item or for spending money throughout the school year instead of spending their cash frivolously. Other times, they saved up for one big-ticket clothing item that they know I won’t be buying for them.

A new theme of laws in the United States appears to be geared towards teaching students how to properly submit to police by teaching them how to “interact” with the officers they encounter—and it could start with children as young as 5 years old.
In Texas, Gov. Gregg Abbott signed Senate Bill 30 into law, requiring “certain public school students” to study a curriculum that teaches them how to interact with police officers. The new law goes into effect on Sept. 1.
“The commission by rule shall require that information relating to law enforcement procedures for traffic stops be included in the curriculum of each driver education course and driving safety course. The curriculum must include: a demonstration of the proper actions to be taken during a traffic stop; and information regarding: the role of law enforcement and the duties and responsibilities of peace officers; a person ’s rights concerning interactions with peace officers; proper behavior for civilians and peace officers during interactions.”
The curriculum will be created by the State Board of Education and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, and it will focus on students in grades 9-12. It will also include a civilian interaction training program for peace officers, and additional instruction on interacting with police for driver education and safety courses.
The law comes after high profile cases such as the death of Sandra Bland, a 28-year-old woman who was pulled over for allegedly changing lanes improperly, arrested, and then found dead in her jail cell three days later. There are still several questions surrounding the circumstances that led up to her death—from why she was arrested for such a minor infraction, to why the Dashcam video released by police was heavily edited.

In New Jersey, the state assembly gave unanimous support to a bill that would start teaching children how to “interact” with police as early as kindergarten. Assembly Bill A1114 passed with a vote of 76-0 on Thursday.
While the initial version of the bill focused on teaching schoolchildren about “the role and responsibilities of a law enforcement official in providing for public safety; and an individual’s responsibilities to comply with a directive from a law enforcement official,” an amended version includes “an individual’s rights under law in interacting with a law enforcement official.”
“As amended, this bill requires school districts to provide instruction on interacting with law enforcement in a manner marked by mutual cooperation and respect, and on the rights of individuals when interacting with a law enforcement official, as part of the implementation of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Social Studies, beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.”
The bill would create two sections of curriculum—one for kindergarten to 4th grade, and one for 5th to 12th grade. The amended version puts the responsibility on the Department of Education to work with an advisory committee, in order to finalize the curriculum.
“The bill directs the Commissioner of Education to appoint an advisory committee to assist in the development of a curriculum for the implementation of the instructional requirement, and details the organizations that are to serve on the advisory committee.”
The New Jersey bill will now go to the state senate for approval.
While this new theme of legislation is still in its early stages, it raises some serious concerns. One of the main ways advocates are gaining support is by pointing out that the legislation includes sections that teach students about their rights when interacting with police. But it begs the question—why is this not already implemented in the education system, and why has it just now become increasingly important, only when other parts of the legislation have come under scrutiny?

There is also a major problem with the fact that the states looking to pass this legislation are lobbying for curriculum that has yet to be created, but that will directly influence children. When it is created, it will be done so by the state, with little input from parents and community members.

Gene Ponder, a teacher of Advanced Placement Government/Economics at Spanish Fort High School, compiled a list of 31 books for summer reading. Students only had to choose one book. Nearly every book is of the conservative to libertarian variety.
To no one’s surprise, there was a general freak out by the establishment statist educators.
Baldwin County Board of Education President Shannon Cauley told Gulf Coast News Today that she became aware of the issue through social media and alerted the superintendent.
“As a courtesy, the school principal called to let me know that the list had been removed and assignment canceled,” Cauley said in a Facebook post. “He’ll be sending an email to all senior students/parents to notify them that there will be no summer reading assignment for this AP government class.”
Superintendent Eddie Tyler confirmed that in a statement, saying the teacher had removed the reading list. It is no longer on the school website.
“Mr. Ponder’s reading list that is going around on social media has not been endorsed by the school system,” Tyler wrote. “The list has been removed by the teacher. Baldwin County Public Schools has a process to vet and approve reading lists so that a variety of sources are used. I expect all employees to follow our processes, procedures and policies.” (Miami Herald)

Does anyone think that Hitler would have allowed a competing educational system? “[I]n Germany there was Nazi truth, a Nazi political truth, a Nazi economic truth, a Nazi social truth, a Nazi religious truth, to which all institutions had to subscribe or be banished.”
It’s hard for many Americans to believe, but their schools have been taken over by an alien worldview designed to shape their children into non-thinking wards of the State.

Just “liking” a picture of a gun on social media can get a student suspended from school in New Jersey.
Zachary Bowlin discovered this the hard way when he was suspended from Edgewood Middle School for 10 days because he liked a picture of an airsoft gun on Instagram.
“The reason for the intended suspension is as follows: Liking a post on social media that indicated potential school violence,” a note from the school to Bowlin’s parents read.
Bowlin liked the photo outside school hours.
“I liked it, scrolling down Instagram at night about seven, eight o’clock I liked it,” Bowlin told Fox 19. “The next morning they called me down [to the office], patted me down and checked me for weapons.”
His father said Zachary never should have been suspended.

The suspension was lifted after news media contacted Edgewood City Schools. Zachary will face no further discipline, but parents of students received an email from the district that indicted officials were responding to a threat. Superintendent Ross Fussnecker released the following statement to the media:
Concerning the recent social media posting of a gun with the caption “Ready,” and the liking of this post by another student, the policy at Edgewood City Schools reads as follows:
The Board has a “zero tolerance” of violent, disruptive, harassing, intimidating, bullying, or any other inappropriate behavior by its students.
Furthermore, the policy states:
Students are also subject to discipline as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct that occurs off school property when the misbehavior adversely affects the educational process.
As the Superintendent of the Edgewood City Schools, I assure you that any social media threat will be taken serious including those who “like” the post when it potentially endangers the health and safety of students or adversely affects the educational process.
