High School Student Goes Viral After School Tells Her to Delete This Video

“Elizabeth Najjar explains that not all high school students are going along with the March for Our Lives’ agenda.”

The mainstream media will not cover the 2nd Amendment supporting students because they do not fit the gun-control agenda the media is pushing. The 2nd Amendment is a critical part of our Bill of Rights, and some students who understand and support our founding documents will not be silenced.

Principal Removes Student Carrying Sign Saying ‘Guns Don’t Kill People, People Kill People’

Everyone is becoming aware of the fact that there is no longer any freedom of speech on any public school campus in the United States. But supporting freedom and liberty and advocating for less government intrusion in our lives is met with hostility and often worse, as one student carrying a pro-gun sign found out.

On Wednesday, a student at a high school in Minnesota joined his classmates who were participating in the National School Walkout and was singled out and removed by his principal for holding a sign that said, “Guns Don’t Kill People, People Kill People,” reported The Daily Wire.

Most of the altercation was captured on video, and posted to Facebook, although it isn’t seen what happens both before and after the principal approaches the singled out student. Kenny MacDonald, a student at New Prague High School in New Prague, Minnesota posted the short video, saying:

Kids at our school today walked out, in honor of the 17 students killed in Florida. Students held signs that said, “Arm our teachers” they had two signs. A student walked out without saying a word peacefully put up his sign which said “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” he was escorted off the property by our principal and threatened to be put into a police car. This violates the first amendment and makes me sick that they can do whatever they want. Please make this go viral. Location: New Prague High school, Minnesota.

Again, it bears mentioning that the short video does not show the student acting up or causing a scene, only the principal removing him. What happened before the filming began is entirely speculative.

The goal was to make sure this video goes viral, letting it be known that there are many out there who want not only gun rights destroyed in favor of a more powerful government (because that’s never ended badly before ever, right?) while also stripping your right to free speech away.  Liberty and freedom shouldn’t be taboo. No matter how hard anyone in the government, the media, or leftists try to spin it, freedom is not extreme.  Controlling others is extreme.

WATCH: Speeding Stop Gets Mom Assaulted & Arrested in Front of Her Kids

speeding

Winston-Salem, NC — A video uploaded to Facebook has gone viral as it shows a dramatic confrontation between a young woman and a Winston-Salem police officer during a traffic stop. The woman, 24-year-old Takara Williams was pulled over for speeding and ended up in handcuffs with officer J.C. Carter on top of her. All the while, her kids watched in horror from the backseat of the car.

As the video begins, we see a struggle ensue between officer Carter and Ms. Williams. When the woman filming asks what is going on Williams explains she is being assaulted by Carter for not handing over her keys.

Officer Carter noted that Williams had more violations he found after targeting her for speeding and he needed the keys to her vehicle. Williams tried to explain to the officer that she wanted to wait for her grandfather to get there before giving him the keys, as it was apparently his vehicle.

As the video progresses, so does the altercation as Williams becomes increasingly more distressed. Williams appeared to panic as the officer brought her to the ground.

“I am trying to go to work!” Williams screams as the officer climbs on top of her back. “I am trying to bring my kids to daycare.”

However, Williams would never make it to work that day.

The woman filming attempts to calm her down, but Williams could not. She was obviously shaken thinking about the massive burden this stop was going to have on her life. As the officer handcuffs her, Williams’ chest becomes exposed and the woman filming helped her to have a less humiliating experience. Carter, a male officer, did not wait for a female officer and proceeded to conduct a full body patdown.

According to a news release from the Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD), Williams is facing numerous traffic violation charges and one for resisting an officer.

The woman who filmed the incident posted it to Facebook asking if anyone knew who the woman was. Shortly after, the video was posted on Wednesday, the local news picked it up and the police responded with a press release.

Below is a portion of the statement:

Although the social media video only shows a portion of the encounter midway through the incident, upon his initial approach Officer Carter introduces himself to Ms. Williams by name and told her why she was being stopped.  As Officer Carter told Ms. Williams of the license plate “pick up order” and attempted to have her turn off the vehicle and hand him her keys, Ms. Williams became confrontational.  Officer Carter gave Ms. Williams numerous opportunities to comply with his directives, which she refused.  As Officer Carter was attempting to place Ms. Williams under custodial arrest he was met with physical resistance from her.”

The comments on the Facebook video are a mixed bag, with some people in support of Williams and some people claiming she should’ve just obeyed his orders and nothing would have happened.

If officer Carter was protecting society, where is the victim?

Regardless of your position on the outcome of this situation, the fact of the matter is that it happened as a result of police collecting revenue. This revenue collection hits the poor community twice as hard as the fines stack up and become too much of a burden to ever escape.

Police, we are told, are here to keep us safe and protect us from the bad guys. However, public safety, all too often, takes a back seat to revenue collection. Time and time again, the Free Thought Project has exposed quota schemes in which officers were punished for not writing enough tickets.

All too often we hear the ridiculous statement from the apologist crowd saying, “If you don’t break the law, you have nothing to worry about.”

However, that statement couldn’t be further from the truth.

Former NSA official William Binney sums this myth up quite accurately, “The problem is, if they think they’re not doing anything that’s wrong, they don’t get to define that. The central government does.”

Attorney Harvey Silverglate argues that the average American commits three felonies a day without even knowing it.

While most everyone in America commits the same infractions designed for revenue collection, most of the people targeted by police for these crimes are the poor, minorities, and the mentally ill.

As the death of Mike Brown in Ferguson exposed, African-Americans accounted for 86 percent of traffic stops while making up only 63 percent of Ferguson’s population.

For those too poor to pay their tickets, routine traffic stops end up in repeated imprisonment due to mounting fines. Williams is now in the system and unless she can come up with the thousands of dollars to get out from under these fines, she will likely end up back in that system — over and over again.

It’s a debtor’s prison and it’s horrendous.

Revenue collection, persecution of the poor, and these debtor’s prisons take place in every county, in every city, across every state. This institutionalized cruelty is little more than a day’s work for the millions of bureaucrats involved in the racket.

The video below provides another example of the harsh reality that is government-sponsored extortion. Robin Clearey, the woman standing before Magistrate Joe Licata was in that spot because she got ticketed for taillight malfunction, expired registration, and driving without a license. Unable to pay the mounting fees from previous traffic stops, Clearey had been stopped once again. This time, the officer charged her with a Class-B misdemeanor, a level above her previous charge for driving with a suspended license.

All these fees add up and lead to people like Clearey being thrown in jail for being unable to pay them — a de facto debtor’s prison — which, according to Licata, is ‘job security.’

As the Houston Press reports, Licata warned her that, if she didn’t pay the fines for these tickets and renew her license after paying surcharges to the Department of Public Safety, “then you’re gonna get arrested every time you get pulled over.”

That was nothing to her, Clearey responded — because she had already become trapped in a cycle of arrests.

“It’s nothing to me either,” Licata told her. “It’s job security.”

Cops Release Ominous Intimidation Video, Facebook Immediately Compares them to ISIS

Lake County, FL — In a move that he will likely regret, Lake County Sheriff, Peyton C. Grinnell, will soon be internet famous for a threatening and poorly thought out Facebook video. The video, which is ostensibly meant to ‘scare’ drug dealers, has since begun to go viral — but for all the wrong reasons.

Claiming to have received multiple calls about heroin overdoses from the citizens, Sheriff Grinnell pledged violence and intimidation against those who’d dare sell the dangerous drug. As silly as the video may look, however, its implications and the ignorance behind its creation are no laughing matter.

“The gang in green with masks on. Probably worse than ISIS with their unconstitutional no knock raids,” wrote one Facebook user.

Surrounded by his deputies in their tactical vests, who stare into the camera through their sunglasses and face masks, the sheriff encourages citizens to snitch on their neighbors who may be selling heroin. The video is produced in the same fashion as an ISIS or al-Qaeda video, and those with enough sense, are calling the sheriff out for it.

” I thought it was an ISIS recruitment video at first glance! So glad we both moved out of Florida. This DOES NOT make me feel safer!” said one Facebook user.

“Chill out Peyton, you’re not Liam Nesson. 😀 Whats with the masks, yeah undercover, then why are you putting them in front of camera at all? Why not put officers behind you that the community knows & likes? This just reminds me of 1 of those horrible ISIS videos, with a bunch of masked men.”

The sheriff is so misinformed and blinded by the profitable war on drugs that he clearly fails to realize it’s his very tactics that lead to epidemics of overdoses like we are currently seeing.

Because of police departments incessantly waging a violent war on arbitrary substances, the trade is forced into the black market. Because the war on drugs does nothing to curb demand, the black market, without the proper consumer checks and balances, fosters criminal behavior, substandard, and essentially, dangerous products. The silver lining to this horrendously ominous blunder is that many people aren’t buying it.

Thugs. No different than any other street gang committing violence against innocent people. They are the reason heroin is so dangerous. They keep legitimate manufacturers from producing safer alternatives.”

The sheriff fails to realize that the recent heroin epidemic is due largely in part to the fact that legal heroin, aka opioid painkillers like oxycontin, have hooked millions of people in this country. When these pain pills became harder to get, through more strict legislation, addicts then turn to heroin to feed their pharmaceutically induced addictions.

What about the “legal” opiates that kill more then heroin and Cocaine combined no one ever wants to go to war against that”

Actual heroin is not nearly as deadly as the bathtub drug cocktails being sold on the street in its place. ‘Heroin,’ today, contains mostly fentanyl — a pharmaceutical compound upwards of 50 times more potent, and far deadlier, than actual heroin.

Because sheriffs like Grinnell refuse to study actual data — opting for armored MRAPs, AR15s, and violence instead — the problem of opioid overdoses has gotten seriously out of hand.

“How about you actually study the problem sheriff. This is a social issue, not criminal. It was created by the pill epidemic caused by weak laws and legislation. Then we realized the issue after they all became addicted. Now that pills are hard to get, and they turned to heroin. Many of the dealers are addicts themselves that are paying for their habit. But hey, let’s just arrest everyone, and create more institutionalized criminals with records and further inundate the already backed up system. But who needs that? What does research know? Screw proactive and modern approaches, let’s dress like ninjas and threaten them. And we wonder why trust in law enforcement is low. Stay safe.”

Grinnell would do well to read a study or two. As the Free Thought Project has reported at length, heroin overdoses can be stifled by doing the opposite of what he’s advocating for. In states with legal marijuana, heroin overdoses plummet.

The following comment sums it up perfectly and was likely written by someone who is an avid reader of the Free Thought Project.

We’re tired of you black-masked drug warriors. Go home and bring back the police who investigate real crimes.

Americans want prohibition ended and addicts treated by medical professionals not Jack-bootes thugs that LITERALLY stole more from Americans last year (through civil asset forfeiture) than all the thieves in America.

End prohibition.
End the drug war.
Treat addiction as the medical issue it is

Instead of filling up jails and bolstering the police state, like Grinnell wants to do, they should be solving actual crimes, like murders. Instead of kicking in doors in the middle of the night, his deputies should investigate the backlog of more than 13,000 untested or unprocessed Florida rape kits — currently collecting dust in departments across the state. Instead of pledging violence against individuals for their substance abuse problems, this sheriff should advocate for the decriminalization of all drugs, which would allow for safer alternatives and treatment for addiction.

Sadly, it appears that this sheriff has no intention of changing. The good news, however, is that Grinnell is a dinosaur. Sheriffs like him are becoming obsolete as society continues to demand an end to the drug war.

An example of this paradigm shift comes from Gloucester, Massachusetts. As the opioid epidemic came into full force in recent years, one police chief in Massachusetts had a novel idea – help drug addicts instead of throwing them in a cage. This led to the creation of the Angel Program.

The concept of helping addicts instead of criminalizing them has shown such success, it’s been adopted by 200 police agencies in 28 states. This encouraging phenomenon shows that it’s possible for law enforcement to listen to reason when it comes to drug abuse and actually helping communities. Grinnell should take notice.

Below is the video which epitomizes the sheer insanity that is the war on drugs.

After watching the above video, one commenter pointed out its similarity to the video below. Notice, however, that the people in masks below — are not cops.

Cops Kill Man With Asperger’s Who’s Viral Video Touched Millions — Family Sues

Mesa, AZ — Kayden Clarke, 24, brought tears to the internet’s eyes after he posted a video of what he felt like with Asperger’s syndrome. However, less than a year later, this inspiring young man’s life was brought to a grinding halt by police.

In the video, Clarke recorded himself during one of his ‘meltdowns,’ which showed him trying to punch himself, but being comforted by his Rottweiler instead.

“This is what having Asperger’s like,” he wrote with the video. His legal name at the time of this video and his death was Danielle Jacobs, but Clarke was transitioning from a woman to a man, his friends said.

“When I have a meltdown, I often have self-injurious behavior and I often self-harm,” he said in an interview with the Huffington Post in 2015.

This open conversation about his Asperger’s syndrome seemed to have been therapeutic for Clarke. However, on that fateful Thursday morning, almost one year ago today, things would take a turn for the worse.

Clarke’s mom has since filed a lawsuit in Arizona Superior Court.

According to Mesa police, they received a call about a suicidal person around 11 a.m. — it was Clarke’s friend who’d just received an email from him saying  Take care of Sampson. Sampson is the dog seen in the viral video.

When officers responded to Clarke’s apartment, they say he stated that he had a knife and was going to hurt himself. At this time, police claim, Clarke moved toward them with a knife, causing them to fear for their lives and they both fired their duty weapons.

Apparently, simply backing up was not an option — nor was waiting for the other officer who had just gone back outside to retrieve a beanbag gun.

Clark was “clearly confused and terrified” and screamed at the officers that he “would not be taken back to the psychiatric ward or be medicated,” the lawsuit says.

After they shot Clarke, an ambulance was called, and he was transported to a hospital where doctors tried to close his wounds. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and later in the evening, his family received word that he did not make it.

Speaking with the NY Daily News last year, his mother, Stacia, said that this was completely unexpected and she was shocked.

“I talked to her last night and the night before and she seemed fine.

“Before the police arrived she wasn’t posing a threat to the community at all. And the police came into her own place.

“They shot and killed a 24-year-old autistic, mentally ill individual whom they had been familiar with and were aware of her special needs.”

No officers were hurt, and none of them were not wearing body cameras.

Just as Clarke’s mother said last year, the lawsuit also details how police have dealt with Clarke in the past. They knew about his mental and developmental issues. But instead of talking Clarke down, “the situation escalated dramatically and nonsensically,” the lawsuit states.

“They cornered [Clarke] in a small darkened room. Instead of trying to calm [him], the officers drew and pointed their guns in the dark and shouted demands, terrifying [Clarke],” the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit now seeks unspecified damages for the wrongful death of Clarke and for “emotional pain, distress, hardship, suffering, shock, worry, anxiety, sleeplessness and suffering.”

As the Free Thought Project has pointed out in the past, the overwhelming majority of time spent by police during training is devoted to shooting their weapons. Very little time is set aside for training in de-escalation tactics, and most departments receive zero training in dealing with the mentally ill.

In fact, a study by the Virginia-based Treatment Advocacy Center, an organization dedicated to eliminating the barriers faced by those with severe mental illnesses, released a jaw-dropping report titled, Overlooked in the Undercounted: The Role of Mental Illness in Fatal Law Enforcement Encounters. In the report, researchers discovered that people with an untreated mental illness are 16 times more likely to be killed during an interaction with police than anyone else.

According to the study, by all accounts – official and unofficial – a minimum of 1 in 4 fatal police encounters ends the life of an individual with severe mental illness.

‘His Hands Were Already Tied’ Video Shows Cops Hold Down Man as Fellow Cop Smashes in His Head

New York, NY — A disturbing video has sparked an internal investigation within the NYPD after it showed three cops hold down a man with his hands behind his back while one of them pummelled his face.

The video is taken from inside a bus across the street and starts out as the cop begins smashing in the man’s face. “Why are you hitting him?” the person filming asks. “He hit him in his face!” she said. “His face is bleeding!”

After the officer punches the man in the face several times, he then proceeds to start slapping him. All the while, it appears that the man is not resisting at all. This is evidenced by the fact that the female officer and the other male officer (who aren’t doing the punching) are calmly squatting down by the man.

While the audio of the police and the man is difficult to hear, we can hear one phrase that the man seems to be repeating. “What are you doing?” begs the man as two cops hold him down while the other digs his face into the asphalt.

The incident happened on the morning of New Year’s Eve around 10:00 am. The woman who posted the video, Alexas Jasmin, explained what she saw in her post.

Jasmin noted that the man was sitting in his car following an encounter with the police. According to Jasmin, police were “getting ready to pull off” just before changing their minds and approaching the man.

“Granted the man did stick his head out the window and say a few choice words,” she wrote. “But please tell me why the cops got out the van, snatched him out of his car and proceeded to do this to him.”

“This is exactly why i [sic] hate the police,” she added. “His hands were already tied and he kept hitting the man in the face until bloody. RIDICULOUS!!”

According to the Gothamist, who reached out to the NYPD, the NYPD did not confirm the man’s name, why police stopped him, or whether he had been arrested or charged. A spokesperson said only, “The matter is under internal review.”
