BACKLASH: NRA’s Political Fund Donations SPIKE In Wake Of Parkland Shooting

It probably wasn’t the shooting at a Florida high school itself that caused donations to the NRA to triple since Valentine’s Day. But it was more likely than not the wave of anti-gun illogical and emotionally charged outbursts demanding those who are innocent of the shooting give up their rights that did it.

Supporters of the Second Amendment donated about $779,000 in February to the NRA’s political arm, the Political Victory Fund, according to recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) data. The figure marked a more than threefold increase compared to January when the PAC received nearly $250,000 in donations and was the fund’s second-best month over the last year.

Last weekend, thousands of people rallied in support of gun control during the “March for Our Lives” protest, with many placards openly attacking the NRA. The increasing onslaught against the organization, however, correlated with more donations going to the group’s PAC.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, two weeks before the fatal school shooting, the NRA’s PAC received $27,100 from itemized contributions – donations that exceed $200 – from 51 donors. Over the next two weeks after the shooting, the itemized contributions skyrocketed to nearly $71,000 from 226 donors.

Most donations to the group – totaling $685,099 – came in small donations that did not exceed $200. This means that normal, average, everyday Americans propped up the NRA in the wake of protests. Multiple politicians are facing the fury of anti-gun activists who criticize them for accepting the NRA’s support and donations. Yet there’s little to no criticism of the Antifa thugs who accept money from George Soros to fund their violent Communist temper tantrums.

The NRA is obviously not going anywhere, and this wave of marches has only added to their funding.  NRA memberships have been on the rise as well.

NRA (National Rifle Association) memberships have skyrocketed in recent weeks since the mainstream media has been ramping up their anti-gun agenda. As the media continues to weaponize the news in the form of gun control propaganda, the NRA’s profiting continues to go up. –SHTFPlan

There’s nothing like a little scapegoating when it comes to placing the blame for mass shootings.  It seems like the blame falls always on the NRA and law-abiding gun owners, not the psychopaths who shoot up schools. And that’s exactly why NRA memberships and donations are skyrocketing.

Bunkerville Political Prisoner Todd Engel Needs Our Help

Todd Engel was tried in the first of the three Bunkerville trials, and has had very poor representation by his two court appointed attorneys. Neither would communicate with him, and one even had trouble staying awake in the courtroom.

For a short time, Todd was allowed to represent himself, and he did that very well. However, Judge Navarro denied even that when Todd mentioned Dan Love, the Bureau of Land Management Special Agent in Charge at the Bunkerville standoff. Many topics were off limits, including the 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment, the Constitution, and the reason he went to the Bundy Ranch. Almost all of the defense witnesses were intimidated or denied by Judge Gloria Navarro. Basically, the federal prosecution was allowed by the judge to prosecute, but the defendants were not allowed a defense.

Todd was convicted of two very minor charges. In the second trial, and now as the third trial is starting, information is coming out that would have helped his case. This includes conflicting testimony by federal employees, questions about documents shredded that day, videos taken by federal employees at the ranch, and testimony by Dan Love who was terminated by the BLM. Much of this should have been included in discovery and given to defense attorneys at all three trials, but it wasn’t. Various federal employees have also testified that they do not recall important details. The third trial has been postponed for a week due to these issues.

Todd Engel is due to be sentenced on December 22. The charges call for about 33 months, but the prosecution is going for 20 years. Todd now has a good attorney who is willing to work for expenses, but he does need those costs covered.

In happened after Engel, who was representing himself as was his right to do, asked the unforgivable question, “Is it true that [Special Agent In Charge] Dan Love is under criminal investigation?”

The prosecution threw fits, yelling objections. Navarro not only sustained their objections, but stripped Engel of his right to self-representation. Navarro told Engel that he had lost his privilege to self-representation and was no longer allowed to talk in her courtroom.

She went on to say that, “As a defendant, you have only THREE rights.”

She said that he had the right to:

1. Plead Guilty


2. Testify on his own behalf


3. Appeal his conviction

Power Grid Failures: CA Wildfires Are Now A Serious Critical Catastrophic Event

The death toll continues to rise because of the California wildfires currently scorching across wine country.  With 23 dead and hundreds missing, the fires are labeled as a “serious critical catastrophic event” complete with power grid failures.

The wind known as the Diablo is picking up again, the air is dry, there is no rain in sight and the killer wildfires that have scorched the wine country of Northern California remain almost completely uncontained. Officials warned Wednesday that some of the big fires could merge making them almost impossible to contain. While thousands have been told to evacuate or prepare to leave their homes, hundreds are missing and 23 are dead.

There’s now also a probable link between the wildfires and the power grid failure. The huge utility company PG&E acknowledged that the extreme winds late Sunday and early Monday had knocked trees into power lines in conditions conducive to wildfires. “The historic wind event that swept across PG&E’s service area late Sunday and early Monday packed hurricane-strength winds in excess of 75 mph in some cases,” said Ari Vanrenen, a PG&E spokeswoman, in a statement released after the San Jose Mercury News first reported on a possible link between the wildfires and the power grid. “These destructive winds, along with millions of trees weakened by years of drought and recent renewed vegetation growth from winter storms, all contributed to some trees, branches, and debris impacting our electric lines across the North Bay,” she said.

Officials with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) said they have yet to determine the cause of the fires, which have killed at least 23 people in Napa, Sonoma, Yuba and Mendocino counties. Statewide, 8,000 firefighters are working to contain 22 wildfires that cover 170,000 acres — a collective area larger than the city of Chicago. The worst of the fires are in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties, where 4,500 homes and businesses had been burned at last count.

The Atlas Fire and the Tubbs fire, which ravaged a Santa Rosa neighborhood, are both a mere 3% contained.  There seems to be little good news for those who have been affected by these fires. If you would like to donate to those in the path of these fires, here are a few suggestions:

Donate to the Sonoma County Resilience Fund. The fund is overseen by the Community Foundation of Sonoma County and pledges to “focus on the mid- to long-term tasks of recovery and rebuilding, which will include basic needs as well as longer term economic, health and social supports.”

Donations can also be made to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund.

Donations for both Lake County and Mendocino County are being coordinated by the Savings Bank of Mendocino County.

We have been bringing in lots and lots of small donations, but it takes a huge pile of those small donations to keep up with the enormous checks that the professional politicians in this race have been pulling in.

URGENT: Disaster Relief Supplies Stranded From California to the East Coast

Food, water, and other essential supplies have been generously donated by people all over the country, coast to coast.

However there is currently no way to get most of those supplies to the people who need them.

In Texas and Florida we have thousands of families devastated by the damage from hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Many of them have absolutely nothing left. They are thirsty, hungry, and need basics like food, water, paper towels, TP, diapers, baby formula, dog food, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, mosquito repellent, blankets, pillows, disposable plates, cups, and utensils, cleaning supplies, first aid supplies, plus many other necessities. Why can’t we get the supplies to Texas and Florida to distribute? For the most part, there are long haul trucks and drivers available, willing to volunteer. The problem is the cost of fuel for the trucks. If we can get donations for fuel, we can start getting those trucks and disaster relief supplies rolling.

There is a long haul driver in California right now who has delivered disaster relief loads for Patriot Express to the Houston distribution center, which has been our base of operations in Texas. She is ready and able to pick up a load of donated goods in California and bring them wherever they are needed. All she needs is to have the cost of fuel covered.

Update: “Oath Keepers Hurricane Irma Relief” Donations – Thank you!

It’s your donations that enable us to purchase the things we need to keep our operation going in South Florida. The hardest hit areas around Big Pine Key and remote areas of South-Central and South-West FL especially need our continued presence there and you are making that happen.

We have two teams converging on the Greater Naples (traveling North from The Keys and South from Frostproof) to deliver aid there. MAINSTREAM Documentary Donor is Matching Your Donations!

I have some good news.  Since my last Progress Report of 27 May informing you that the production budget was depleted and we had to stop work on MAINSTREAM – a total of 38 of you rallied with donations averaging about $140 each.  As a result we were able to commence editing and now have the first 24 minutes of MAINSTREAM Part 2 done. Thank you very much for proving that many of you want to see this movie completed.

Special thanks must go to those who donated well above the average.  This group consists of Gerald Tufts, David Bulmore and Richard Gullotti who each donated $250.  It also includes Leslie Baird, Cristy Zook, Lorraine Sterling, Joel Faust and John T. Law who each donated $500.  This was a happy acknowledgement that you folks care that much about getting this film done that you would do this. Thank you so much – you are priceless citizens.

 

I want to also mention that Richard Gullotti and Joel Faust have been donors since ORIGINAL INTENT. I will never forget their generous donations of $1,000 which helped get probably the first movie about the original intent of the Founders into the motion picture public record. All this is good, but I have some even better news.

Those of you who sent in $500 when you heard that the production closed down really helped buy us progress.  But if there are any others that donate at this level, this will be equal to a $1,000 donation.  And here’s MY deal for you: your screen credit will be upgraded from from Associate Producer to Executive Producer.  Executive Producer is a more rarified strata, and I will personally make sure your screen credit is prominent.      

 

As mentioned above, 24 minutes of Part 2 are done, but we still need to cut 32 minutes to complete Part 2.  Unfortunately we are now out of production funds again and so production will again stop. We got 24 minutes done but we still need to cut the last 32 minutes and then we will have a premiere for Part 2.

 

To give you an idea how the cutting is going, here are a few exerpts of Part 2.

 

 

 

We are working every day on the project.  No vacations. No trips. No parties.  I estimate we will need about $10,125 to get through Parts 3 and 4 sometime by the end of Summer or start of Fall. If you are in a position to donate — especially given the matching fund deal and the extra screen credit the producers will grant -– I hope you will do what you can.  I would prefer that those who have not yet been able to donate make an effort to contribute, but if you have already donated, please bear in mind that your donations are cumulative.

 

In case you didn’t get to review the challenges we face to get MAINSTREAM done, allow me to reiterate some of the data in my previous Progress Report, as updated.

 

On the evening of 17 May we started the Premiere of MAINSTREAM Part 1 and decided to leave it up because about 400 people per day were watching it.  If you haven’t seen it, go to https://youtu.be/H3lX1QPk5x4  It’s still there.

 

As of 24 June, about 4,672 people have now screened MAINSTREAM Part 1 but the daily screening has dropped to about 200 people a day.(1)   What’s more positive, however, is there are now 103 thumb’s up, only 1 thumb down and still no negative comments.

 

Again, this is all great!  Thousands have screened MAINSTREAM Part 1, hundreds watch it every day and 38 of you rallied to help get Part 2 back into post-production. Wow! 

 

All this is good news, but the production fund is again almost at zero. We have 24 more minutes cut but the show is again dark unless more donations come in. I know this is a pain, but movies are expensive and precarious.  We also had a hard drive meltdown on the main editing system. This has been remedied but it took some time and money out of our budget.

 

Here are the facts that I related to the major donors, my producing partners, and in my last Progress Report, again, facts you deserve to be updated on as well:

1.  Total running time of MAINSTREAM Parts 1 – 4 will be 213 minutes.  We now have about 78 min done to date, need to edit 135 minutes. 

 

2.  Can cut about 2 minutes per day = 68 days to finish cutting. Only possible to cut about 20 days per month with no edit staff.

 

3. Need another 3.4 months to complete post-production and about $3,000 month for facilities, rentals, editor, operating expenses = about $10,125.  See Budget account 6600.

 

4.  If time is not consumed raising money, delivery of Parts 2 – 4 could be 30 Sept.

 

5.  Sum of $10,125 mainly covers items in account 6600.  It does not provide for any contingencies or marginal expenses such as additional b-roll in NYC, reshoots in LA, additional music rights, color/density correction, mixdown, DVD masters, additional interviews or computer catastrophes.  These expenses could amount to $5,000 or more and they are itemized in other accounts in the Budget.  The recent computer meltdown will consume some of this $5,000.

 

6. Since December 2015 when MAINSTREAM went into development, we have raised and allocated about $47,500 to various accounts itemized in the Budget.  This includes research and script development, 13 interviews around the country, auditioning/hiring new narrator, narration recording, music rights, b-roll shoots, stock shots/photos, two pre-release trailers and a 213-minute rough-cut.

 

So this is what we are dealing with.  As I have tried to relate previously, we are, in essence, trying to make two films for the price of one.  This is why the original estimated cost of MAINSTREAM was $109,314 whereas earlier productions were between $50,000 and $75,000.  A budget of $109,314 is how much we would have liked to have had to work with.(2)  But my job is to get things done cheaper, or get more production value for less, if possible.  I treasure every dollar of donor money and know that some of you are really hurting – and hurting for all of the reasons we cover in the films. 

 

These things acknowledged, I feel it would be wasteful to not complete MAINSTREAM for a lack of a relatively small amount of money.  If enough of you agree and donate, this project will get done even if slowly.  And if there is another donation rally, we should be able to get it done more quickly.  Again, the donation URL is at www.MainstreamMedia.us/donate

Those who donated, and the experts who courageously interviewed, are like the 300 warriors who confronted the Persian Army at the Battle of Thermopylae.  We may save a portion of Western Civilization by encouraging others to make documentaries about the Mainstream Media that is now trying to destroy Western Civilization.

 

I continue to sincerely feel this is a subject that needs to be confronted — especially given we made 7 previous documentaries that were suppressed, ignored or invalidated by the Mainstream Media.  These were documentaries about the Federal Reserve, the right to keep and bear, third parties, the original intent of the Founders, the outsourcing of the U.S. manufacturing base, the destruction of the family unit.  All subjects we felt the Mainstream Media might wish to champion a public discussion about.

No Investigation of Clinton Foundation Uranium Deal with Russia

Judicial Watch earlier investigated a controversial Clinton Foundation 2010 uranium deal with Russia. As secretary of state, Hillary used her position for profit-making.

In his book “Clinton Cash,” Peter Scheweizer raised questions about the deal and others, involving millions of dollars of Clinton Foundation donations from foreign governments and other sources.

The foundation was used as a money-laundering, pay-to-play, self-enrichment racket, masquerading as a charitable NGO.

Federal, state and international laws prohibit operating so-called public charities for private gain. The Clinton Foundation systematically ignores its legal obligations – unaccountably so far.

The controversial uranium deal involved Canadian company Uranium One, a majority-owned Rosatom subsidiary, Russia’s atomic energy agency.

Shortly after the deal was announced, Hillary was paid $500,000 from a Russian investment bank for a Moscow speech – an obvious conflict of interest for Hillary as secretary of state at the time.

Further, under US law, uranium is considered a strategic asset. Any deals involving it must be approved by seven US cabinet members, including the secretaries of state and treasury.

Separate Judicial Watch FOIA litigation revealed “over 200 conflicts-of-interest rulings that led to $48 million for the Clintons during (Hillary’s) tenure as secretary of state.”

According to Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton, the “cash and secrecy on this Russian uranium deal (alone) looks corrupt and criminal.”

With Obama’s treasury department involved, there’s “no daylight between” him and Hillary “on this scandal that place our nation’s security at risk.”

Trump justifiably tweeted “(w)hy isn’t the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech…”

“…money to Bill, the Hillary Russian ‘reset, praise by Hillary, or Podesta Russian Company. Trump’s Russia story is a hoax.”

Why isn’t House Select Committee of Intelligence chairman Devin Nunes investigating Clinton Foundation racketeering – RICO-level criminality, instead of focusing on nonexistent Trump ties to Russia.

After months of FBI investigatory work, not a shred of anything improper was discovered. There’s plenty of illegality to hold the Clintons responsible for.

So why isn’t it being exposed? Why isn’t the Clinton crime family held accountable for major racketeering offenses, along with all their other high crimes?

Jill Stein’s Post-Election Fundraising May Not Go for Recounts

She’s raised millions of dollars from naive donors, most of it likely dirty money from anti-Trump dark forces, her goal $7 million for recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Her scheme is a ruse, a cruel hoax to undermine Trump’s election, steal it for Hillary, wanting her as America’s 45th president, not him – underhanded tactics OK, under the phony guise of assuring “election integrity.”

Individuals duped to donating should demand their money back. Dark forces have plenty to spread around for toxic purposes. A scheme to install Hillary as president instead of Trump is despicable enough. Here’s another reason.

According to lawnewz.com, familiar with “the fine print” of Stein’s fundraising, a clause states:

“We cannot guarantee a recount will happen in any of these states we are targeting. We can only pledge we will demand recounts in those states.”

“If we raise more than what’s needed, the surplus will also go toward election integrity efforts and to promote voting system reform.”

Without explicit elaboration, it’s unknown what she means. Will she hold onto some or all funds raised, keep them for future campaigning, or use them for purposes other than her stated intentions?

Betraying supporters shows she can’t be trusted. Shun and denounce her instead as a duplicitous fraud, unfit for any public office.

Chances for overturning Trump’s triumph for Hillary are virtually nil. Recounts remain to be seen. The Wisconsin Elections Commission said it’s “preparing to move forward with” one, calling a federal December 13 deadline a challenge to finish on time. No word yet from Pennsylvania and Michigan.

In her petition for a Wisconsin recount, Stein disgracefully joined the chorus of Russia bashers, citing DHS and media scoundrels, exposed liars, wrongfully claiming “well-documented and conclusive evidence of foreign interference…call(ing) into question the results” – her words.

She may be devious and self-serving, but she’s not stupid. She’ll have millions of dollars at her disposal, raised virtually overnight, far more than donor amounts during months of presidential campaigning.

What will she do with what’s not spent? Lots of money may remain in her possession. Her explanation doesn’t wash. She’s not legally bound to use funds raised for her stated purpose, nor return amounts unspent.

Is dirty money from dark forces rewarding her for supporting Hillary? Is the DNC involved in the scheme covertly?

It reeks of deception and fraud! Spread the word! Don’t let her get away with it! Fight back! Denounce her! Exposure her as a dirty self-serving politician like all the rest!
