U.S. missile defense systems rendered useless after Russians develop superior and unstoppable nuclear weaponry

During Russian President Vladimir Putin’s State of the Union Address last month, the Eastern leader told attendees that global missile defense systems have been rendered useless as the Russian military has already developed and implemented new and improved nuclear missile technologies on the battlefield which outfox, outperform, and outrun, current U.S. and allied force technologies, rendering the U.S. and other countries sitting ducks.

One of the most intriguing weapons recently developed by the Russians is a nuclear hyper-sonic cruise missile which boasts an unlimited range and great maneuvering characteristics which reportedly allow it to out perform enemy countermeasures.

“It has unlimited range so it can keep going like this forever,” the Russian president stated during last months demonstration. ‘It can maneuver to avoid defense barriers.’

CBC News reports:

The Russian leader said the high-speed underwater drone also has an “intercontinental” range and is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead that could target both aircraft carriers and coastal facilities. He said its “very big” operational depth and a speed that is at least 10 times higher than any other vessel would make it immune to enemy interception.

Putin accompanied his statement to an audience of hundreds of senior officials and lawmakers with videos and computer images of new weapons, which were shown on giant screens at a conference hall near the Kremlin.

‘Like a meteorite’

The Russian leader said that another new weapon called Avangard is an intercontinental hypersonic missile that would fly to targets at a speed 20 times the speed of sound and strike “like a meteorite, like a fireball.”

Putin said that the weapon is capable of performing sharp manoeuvres on its way to targets, making it “absolutely invulnerable for any missile defence system.”

Although Putin made it clear Russia has no intention to attack or bully any one county now that Russia possesses superior technology, the mere thought that the U.S. has been rendered defenseless is concerning.

‘Peace through strength!’ Trump says ‘getting along with Russia is a good thing’

US President Donald Trump has hit back at ‘the Fake News Media’ over its criticism of him congratulating Russian President Vladimir Putin on his re-election victory, saying “getting along with Russia is a good thing.”

Trump made the comments on Twitter on Wednesday, hitting back at media coverage of his phone call with Putin in the aftermath of the Russian election result. The US leader noted that his predecessor Barack Obama had also called Putin, after the latter won Russia’s 2012 presidential race.

In a follow-up tweet, Trump said Russia “can help solve problems,” including issues regarding North Korea, Syria and the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

I called President Putin of Russia to congratulate him on his election victory (in past, Obama called him also). The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him. They are wrong! Getting along with Russia (and others) is a good thing, not a bad thing…….

Russia blamed for attacks on U.S. power grid starting in 2016

The Trump administration has blamed the Russian government for a series of cyber attacks targeting American and European nuclear power plants and other critical utilities dating back at least two years – raising fears that the Kremlin could disrupt the West’s critical infrastructure in the event of a conflict.

The hackers also targeted the overall energy sector, along with commercial facilities, aviation, manufacturing and the water supply, according to a U.S. security alert published Thursday.

The Department of Homeland Security and FBI said in the alert that a “multi-stage intrusion campaign by Russian government cyber actors” had targeted the networks of small commercial facilities “where they staged malware, conducted spear phishing, and gained remote access into energy sector networks.” The alert did not name facilities or companies targeted. –Reuters

The report says that Russians used various hacking techniques, including spear-phishing emails, watering-hole domains, credential gathering and open-source and network reconnaissance.

Russian hackers made their way to machines with access to critical control systems at power plants that were not identified. The hackers never went so far as to sabotage or shut down the computer systems that guide the operations of the plants.

Still, new computer screenshots released by the Department of Homeland Security on Thursday made clear that Russian state hackers had the foothold they would have needed to manipulate or shut down power plants. –NYT

“We now have evidence they’re sitting on the machines, connected to industrial control infrastructure, that allow them to effectively turn the power off or effect sabotage,” said Eric Chien, a security technology director at Symantec, who added “From what we can see, they were there. They have the ability to shut the power off. All that’s missing is some political motivation.”

The New York Times notes that “American officials and security firms, including Symantec and CrowdStrike, believe that Russian attacks on the Ukrainian power grid in 2015 and 2016 that left more than 200,000 citizens there in the dark are an ominous sign of what the Russian cyberstrikes may portend in the United States and Europe in the event of escalating hostilities.”

Meanwhile, Thursday’s announcement from DHS marks the first official claim that the Kremlin attacked the power grid.

It was the first time the administration officially named Russia as the perpetrator of the assaults. And it marked the third time in recent months that the White House, departing from its usual reluctance to publicly reveal intelligence, blamed foreign government forces for attacks on infrastructure in the United States. –NYT

Vikram Thakur of Symantec Security Response said that gaining access to networks tied to various segments of U.S. infrastructure is extremely difficult, adding that cyberattacks like the ones described in the DHS announcement have the potential to cause significant damage.

“The only thing that holds an attacker back is political motivation,” Thakur told CNN, adding “Usually the bar for flipping the switch is extremely high.”

The announcement coincided with the U.S. Treasury Department’s Thursday decision to slap sanctions on 19 Russians and five groups – including the Kremlin’s intelligence services for meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, along with various other cyber crimes.

Russia has previously denied the charges.

In December, 2016 the Washington Post erroneously reported that Russian hackers had penetrated the electric grid in Vermont using malicious code associated with the hacking operation dubbed “Grizzly Steppe” by the Obama administration. WaPo corrected the story 48 hours later with the publication of a new article.

Last July, however, the Department of Homeland Security reported that the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating corp in Kansas had been targeted by hackers in one of several breaches of U.S. nuclear plants. Hackers were thought to be mapping out computer networks for future attacks, according to the Times.

That said, there has been a fair amount of pushback against the administration’s claims of Russian hacking by both the Wolf Creek plant and the Nuclear Energy Institute.

Spokeswoman Jenny Hageman declined to say at the time if the plant had been hacked but said that there had been no operational impact to the plant because operational computer systems were separate from the corporate network.Hageman on Thursday said the company does not comment on security matters.

John Keeley, a spokesman for the industry group the Nuclear Energy Institute, said: “There has been no successful cyber attack against any U.S. nuclear facility, including Wolf Creek.” –Reuters

Putin Says “US Political System Eating Itself Up”, Explains Preparation For Nuclear War

In a move that will likely prompt more calls for collusion, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin offered more words of praise for President Trump on Wednesday, but added that he was sorely disappointed with the U.S. political system, saying that it has been “eating itself up.”

Speaking in an interview with Russian state television, Putin lavished Trump with praise, describing him as a great communicator: “I have no disappointment at all,” Putin said according to AP, when asked about the U.S. president. “Moreover, on a personal level he made a very good impression on me.”

Putin also praised Trump as a “balanced” man, who easily gets into the gist of various issues and listens to his interlocutor. “It’s possible to negotiate with him, to search for compromises,” Putin added.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of international summits last year.

The Russian president also noted that he spent some time talking to Melania Trump when he sat next to her during an official dinner at the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany in July. The Russian leader said he told her and the wife of the Italian premier “about Siberia and Kamchatka, about fishing … about bears on Kamchatka and tigers in the Far East.”

“I made some exaggerations,” the action-loving Russian leader said with a grin. “When you talk about fishing, you can’t help exaggerating.”

Asked jokingly by the interviewer if he was trying to recruit the women, the KGB veteran responded by saying: “No, I stopped dealing with that a long time ago.” He added with a smile: “But I liked doing that, it was my job for many years.”

Putin then changed the topic, and vented his frustration with the U.S. political system saying “it has demonstrated its inefficiency and has been eating itself up.”

“It’s quite difficult to interact with such a system, because it’s unpredictable,” Putin said.

Russian hopes for a detente and better ties with Washington have been dashed by the ongoing congressional and FBI investigations into allegations of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia. Speaking about the bitter tensions in Russia-West relations, Putin said they have been rooted in Western efforts to contain and weaken Russia.

“We are a great power, and no one likes competition,” he said.

Turning his attention to a particularly sensitive topic, Putin said he was dismayed by what he described as the U.S. role in the ouster of Ukraine’s Russia-friendly president in February 2014 amid massive protests.

Putin charged that the U.S. had asked Russia to help persuade then-President Viktor Yanukovych not to use force against protesters and then “rudely and blatantly” cheated Russia, sponsoring what he called a “coup.” Russia responded by rushing through a referendum in Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, whose result was an overwhelming majority voting to join Russia.

“Few expected us to act so quickly and so resolutely, not to say daringly,” Putin said.

He described the Western sanctions over Crimea and the insurgency in eastern Ukraine as part of “illegitimate and unfair” efforts to contain Russia, adding that “we will win in the long run.” He added that “those who serve us with poison will eventually swallow it and poison themselves.”

Responding to a question about Russia’s growing global leverage, Putin responded: “If we play strongly with weak cards, it means the others are just poor players, they aren’t as strong as it seemed, they must be lacking something.”

Finally, Putin, who presented a sweeping array of new Russian nuclear weapons last week, voiced hope that nuclear weapons will never be used — but warned that Russia will retaliate in kind if it comes under a nuclear attack.

“The decision to use nuclear weapons can only be made if our early warning system not only detects a missile launch but clearly forecasts its flight path and the time when warheads reach the Russian territory,” he said. “If someone makes a decision to destroy Russia, then we have a legitimate right to respond.”

He concluded ominously: “Yes, it will mean a global catastrophe for mankind, for the entire world. But as a citizen of Russia and the head of Russian state I would ask: What is such a world for, if there were no Russia?”

Has America Been Set Up As History’s Ultimate Bumbling Villain?

 

(Alt-Market) The high priests of academic and “official” history love a good villain for two reasons: First, because good official villains make the struggles and accomplishments of good official heroes even more awe-inspiring.  And, second, because nothing teaches (or propagandizes) the masses more thoroughly than the social or political lessons inherent in the documented rise and fall of the world’s most despicable inhabitants.  We get shivers of fear and excitement when we discuss the evils and the follies of ancient monsters like Nero, Attila the Hun, Caligula, etc, or more modern monsters, like Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler, Goebbels, Mao, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, and so on.  We take solace in the idea that “we are nothing like them”, and our nation has “moved beyond” such animalistic behavior.

But even more fascinating popcorn-style history is found not in the destruction of tyrants, but the destruction of empires.

When an entire culture steps off the edge of the abyss into the realm of societal psychosis, the world often changes forever and in ways that, at least on the surface, seem to bring humanity a little closer together.  The fall of Rome led to the eventual rise of a dominant Catholic theocracy and the rulership of royal blood lineage that lasted for centuries in Europe.  The flames of World War I and the destabilization of the Kaiser’s Germany led to the formation of the League Of Nations; a first attempt at a global governing authority designed to “maintain world peace”.  World War II and the fall of the Third Reich resulted in considerable horrors, which the establishment of the United Nations was supposedly meant to prevent from ever occurring again.  The decline of the British Empire saw the implosion of cultural colonialism, and the rise of corporate colonialism, which centralized immense power into the hands of the banking class as the new official oligarchs of our modern era.  The collapse of the Berlin Wall and the abandonment of the Soviet Union was lauded by then U.S. President George Bush as the beginnings of a “New World Order” – an ideological concept which heralds the final deterioration of the idea of economic and political sovereignty as a mainstay of human civilization.

When examining the approved version of historical conflict, one gets the overwhelming impression that the villains of our past, through their hubris, their greed, and their insanity, seem to inspire a sudden surge of unification as their ashes are cleared from the air.  One might even come to believe that the “natural progression” of conflict is leading us towards a future in which the only solution is the dissolution of all boundaries and the adoption of a one world narrative.  Wouldn’t it be glorious if the deaths of these malevolent tyrants and societies finally inspired the birth of a single human system in which no conflict is possible because we are all on the same side?

Perhaps it would be glorious, if you have adopted the childish notions of history common to the mainstream.  For those who have not, the story, and the ultimate solutions to the ills of mankind, become a little more complicated…

America’s Villainous Mustache

Mainstream history tends to follow the motions of a play or film, in that archetypes and symbolic figures are consistently created in order to satisfy the natural flow of a particular fiction.  The bad guy wears a mustache (not always, but it is strange and disturbing to see how often this archetype materializes in the mainstream world view.  Just look at Hitler, Stalin, Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, Muammar Gaddafi, Bashar al-Assad, etc.  We love mustached villains).  His criminal successes make him imposing and frightening.  He acts without conscience, or, he wrongly believes his terrible actions are justified in the name of the “greater good”.  His inevitable mistakes make his final failure ironic and satisfying in the face of the iconic hero, who defeats the enemy while the citizenry stands back and watches in awe and wonder as helpless spectators.

The villain is indeed evil, and deserves to be dethroned, but the assumption many people make is that the other side is diametrically good.  This is not always the case…

America is used to playing the role of the hero in the epic tale of modern Earth.  Our nation began with an act of defiance and victory so unexpected and so poetic, it cemented our cultural identity as freedom fighters for centuries to come.  Over time, our government, turning progressively corrupt, has exploited this cultural identity in order to lure Americans into committing atrocities in the name of our traditional sense of “heroism”.  We have, in fact, become the very antagonists we thought we were fighting against (there’s the delicious irony needed to round out our fairytale).

Our government’s actions surrounding Syria, for instance, have made America appear not just bloodthirsty, but also ridiculous.  The Obama Administration took us to the brink of World War III and left us there to stare out over the chasm.  The slightest breeze could send us plummeting.  All to generate military support for Al-Qaeda, the same organization designated by the establishment as our mortal enemy.

In the meantime, our economic system now survives solely on the whims of the Federal Reserve, a private central bank that answers to NO ONE, and writes fiscal policy without oversight.  The government is not only seeking to trigger world war, it also wants to pay for that war with money we do not have, riding debts we cannot pay, to foreign creditors we will piss off in the process of unleashing our unfunded laser guided hell.

Never has the U.S. been slathered in so much absurdity all at once.  Now, we wear the mustache…

Most of us in the Liberty Movement would agree that our country is being poisoned from within, and that our government for many decades has become an enemy of all free peoples.  But there is a very important question that we seem to have overlooked:

If America has been written as the villain, then who is meant to be the hero?

Putin Is Not Your Buddy

Lets step back from the global stage for a moment and examine the situation from a different perspective.  What if the U.S. is not just a product of corruption for corruption’s sake?  What if our new identity as the next historical evil-doer is part of a greater script, and America’s fall from grace is meant to be used to foment the success of fantastic (but fake) protagonists in an engineered fight for a “better and more centralized world”?

How many of us in the Liberty Movement cheered the diplomatic and strategic prowess of Vladimir Putin, for example, in the days leading to Obama’s “red line” attack on Syria?  We cheered because his position was correct, and his demeanor made our government look homicidal by comparison.  We cheered his letter to TIME Magazine because we are tired of being the only people pointing out the vicious parasite our political body has become, and it was exciting to be vindicated by an outside source.  We cheered his protection of Edward Snowden, a truly courageous whistle blower that exposed the terrifying Orwellian nature of the NSA.  We watch video reports from Russia Today (RT) because they give a far more accurate accounting of the facts in the U.S. than all American media entities combined.  It is easy for us to get caught up in the idea that since the West has become the bad guy, the East must now be the good guy.

The problem is, we are being played yet again.

Putin has long called for the end of the dollar’s world reserve status and the creation of a new “global structure” and a “global currency” revolving around the IMF’s Special Drawing Rights:

Is it just coincidence that Putin wants the same centralized global economy and global governance that the IMF and multiple banking elites have been calling for for years?  The same elites who created the debt crisis and currency crisis we now face in America?  Is it just coincidence that Eastern economic and political dominance over issues like Syria perfectly benefits the IMF plan for an financial shift to the BRICS nations and away from the U.S. greenback?  The same plan promoted by many American financial moguls?

Russia is a model for despotic socialized society posing as “civilized society”, and yet, our government has made America so ugly that Russia looks noble by comparison.  Putin is placed on the cover of TIME magazine everywhere in the world except the U.S., and the Washington Times responds by stating that such behavior is a sign of “America’s downward spiral in the global community”, as if we are about to be shunned from the world at large:

While RT produces fantastic journalistic pieces that are critical of American government, rarely if ever do they turn a discerning eye to Russia, and this is not just oversight.

Look carefully at the narrative that is being constructed here.  Putin is NOT our buddy.  He represents exactly what our own government now represents; globalism and naked centralized government aggression against the individual.  However, as mainstream history is being written, the story will be told that it was nations like Russia and China, and organizations like the IMF, that tried to hold back the tide of catastrophe while America, the last empire, steamrolled into thick-skulled oblivion surfing on a shockwave of fiat money and brute military vanity.



The Washington Aristocracy Is Scum, But Don’t Let That Fool You…

Most people with an extensive Liberty Movement education are well aware that false paradigms are used in politics by establishment elites in order to control social discussion and to divide the population against each other.  The Left/Right debate has been and always will be a farce, being that the leadership on both sides of the aisle have identical goals when it comes to the most important aspects of the American structure.  The elites of the Democratic and Republican parties, regardless of rhetoric, will BOTH strive for greater government power, less individual liberty, the erasure of economic sovereignty and free markets, and a dependent and enslaved public.  On these pursuits, they completely agree.

America is about to change for the worse, and the decision on when this is to happen was made a long time ago.  The Washington aristocracy is blatantly guilty in the instigation of our current dilemma, and my theory is, they want you to know they are the culprit, as long as you continue believing they are the ONLY culprit.  They want you to forget all about the IMF, the corporate elites, and Vladimir Putin’s involvement in the larger plan.  They want you to cheer when international banks and what’s left of the G20 rescue us after years of fiscal disaster and institute centralized global economic governance.  They want to be the only authors of this story, and what author doesn’t want to see himself placed in the role of the champion?

Just as there are false political paradigms, there are also false international paradigms.  The Liberty Movement is the wild card; an unknown quantity.  We aren’t fighting for one side or the other – we are fighting for particular principles and beliefs.  The establishment’s best strategy is to co-opt our momentum by convincing us to focus on alternative opposition, or place our trust in fabricated advocates.  No matter how epically monstrous our government becomes, and no matter how satisfying their ultimate demise will be, our battle does not end with them.  It only begins with them.

“We Are Doing Putin’s Job For Him”: Globalist Traitor John McCain Laughably Claims That Releasing A Memo Exposing FBI Corruption Only Helps The Russians

With today’s release of the so-called FISA memo, many within the government and media have been quick to attack not only the contents of said memo but also the very idea of transparency in deciding to release it to the public in the first place.

From James Comey pathetically claiming it was a nothingburger when it exposed his direct corruption, to the likes of CNN who have run continuous coverage attacking the president and Republicans for releasing the memo rather than actually focusing on its contents, it is clear that the deep state apparatus is running scared.

Now, globalist traitor and public anti-Trump critic John McCain has weighed in on the memo’s release, predictably attacking the idea of transparency while once again bringing up the laughable excuse that releasing it somehow helps the Russians.

That’s right, in John McCain’s sick mind, exposing widespread (and possibly illegal) corruption within the FBI and the DOJ is a terrible thing because it magically helps Putin.

McCain’s statement on the memo release reads:

In 2016, the Russian government engaged in an elaborate plot to interfere in an American election and undermine our democracy. Russia employed the same tactics it has used to influence elections around the world, from France and Germany to Ukraine, Montenegro, and beyond.

Putin’s regime launched cyberattacks and spread disinformation with the goal of sowing chaos and weakening faith in our institutions. And while we have no evidence that these efforts affected the outcome of our election, I fear they succeeded in fueling political discord and dividing us from one another.

The latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice serve no American interests – no party’s, no president’s, only Putin’s. The American people deserve to know all of the facts surrounding Russia’s ongoing efforts to subvert our democracy, which is why Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation must proceed unimpeded.

Our nation’s elected officials, including the president, must stop looking at this investigation through the warped lens of politics and manufacturing partisan sideshows. If we continue to undermine our own rule of law, we are doing Putin’s job for him.

Not only is McCain using the tired excuse that doing something that hurts the deep state in turn helps Russia, the globalist puppet is also directly shilling for Robert Mueller despite his obvious bias and anti-Trump sentiment.

While we already know McCain to be a globalist insider, he may actually have another reason for blaming Russia as he was the man who actually passed the Trump disinformation dossier to the FBI itself!

I reported on this shocking fact at the time:

In the wake of the release of a disinformation dossier on President-elect Donald Trump, it has been revealed that none other than establishment Republican John McCain was responsible for passing the document to the highest reaches of the FBI.

McCain, of the apparent belief that this information was extremely important, actually passed the documents to FBI director James Comey last month, according to a report by The Guardian.

“The Guardian can confirm that the documents reached the top of the FBI by December. Senator John McCain, who was informed about the existence of the documents separately by an intermediary from a western allied state, dispatched an emissary overseas to meet the source and then decided to present the material to Comey in a one-on-one meeting on 9 December, according to a source aware of the meeting,” the Guardian report reads.

“The documents, which were first reported on last year by Mother Jones, are also in the hands of officials in the White House.”

When you consider the above report, it makes perfect sense that McCain would attack the memo’s release for he was directly involved in the conspiracy against Trump in the first place!

With that being said, after today’s memo release at least the American people will know who is and isn’t working against the democratically elected president based off their own responses to this ever unfolding scandal.

It’s routine for world leaders to speak to one another, not when it involves Putin and Trump. Western media bash them both, instead of urging improved bilateral relations.

A brief White House statement said both leaders discussed “working together to resolve the very dangerous situation in North Korea.”

“President Trump thanked President Putin for acknowledging America’s strong economic performance in his annual press conference.”

Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said they “spoke out in favor of building dialogue and contacts with North Korea and agreed to exchange information and initiatives in this regard, focusing on ways to resolve the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.”

Both leaders remain world’s apart on dealing with the DPRK. Putin urges responsible dialogue, along with suspending provocative US, South Korean, Japanese military exercises Pyongyang calls rehearsals for war.

Trump is at odds with his secretary of state, Rex Tillerson suggesting talks with no preconditions – then naming one, saying:

“It is only by first dismantling (Pyongyang’s nuclear and ballistic programs) that there can be peace, stability, and economic prosperity for all of Northeast Asia.”

Trump remains belligerent toward the DPRK, rejecting talks, favoring threats, heading things closer to confrontation.

Ahead of Tillerson’s remarks, North Korea’s KCNA news agency quoted leader Kim Jong-un, saying his government will continue developing and producing the “latest (in) weapons technology and equipment (to) bolster the nuclear force in quality and quantity.”

In talks with his Chinese counterpart, Tillerson said if US forces crossed the 38th parallel into North Korea, they’d pull back after accomplishing their mission – an ominous statement, suggesting plans for US belligerence against the DPRK, ground forces likely supported by US terror-bombing, risking nuclear war.

Trump administration strategy involves tightening and toughening sanctions while preparing for possible military confrontation.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Igor Morgulov said increasing US pressure on the DPRK risks “economic strangulation.”

“Russia will not be part of this,” he stressed. “(E)conomic pressure alone will not lead to the outcome we seek, the resolution of the nuclear problem in the Korean Peninsula. Also, there is a humanitarian dimension, since sanctions hurt ordinary people in the first place, which we have to take into account.”

Russia intends making no “rash decisions.” Diplomacy is the only way to try resolving contentious issues. Threats are counterproductive and dangerous.

On Wednesday, National Security Adviser MR McMaster belligerently said denuclearization is “the only viable objective” – wanting North Korea rendered defenseless, at greater risk of US aggression than now.

Its nuclear and ballistic missile deterrents give Washington pause about attacking the country. Yet Trump’s rage for war poses a major risk.

China’s China’s Global Times made the following points:

America’s State and Defense Departments are “playing good cop, bad cop” on North Korea.

“Tillerson’s call for talks does not affect Washington’s military plan for” the country.

US military exercises with regional allies “are coming close to actual combat.” Tillerson’s talk of negotiations “has been offset by quasi-military actions.”

“Though the US has talked about the policy of the ‘four nos’ – no regime change, regime collapse, accelerated reunification or military deployment north of the 38th parallel…it has also sent sterner warnings to North Korea and conducted more frequent military maneuvers.”

Avoiding catastrophic nuclear war on the peninsula remains the main regional objective.

Now that RT is no longer available on television in Philadelphia, I watch more France 24 than before, when I divided my TV-watching between those two and MSNBC. The difference in offerings never ceases to amaze me, but while ‘Putin’s bullhorn’ tended to focus on non-typical Russian subjects and America’s failings, France’s English language channel concentrates heavily on the Middle East and Africa.

Although many people are vaguely aware of China’s growing presence in Africa, without France 24, we wouldn’t know that it now welcomes African students. The Chinese have long been suspected of being allergic to Black people, but this report suggests that the government has made a decision in favor of color blindness – the students interviewed largely deny having encountered racism. Add to this that the One Belt One Road transportation project linking China and Russia to Europe will also have an African spur, and it becomes clear that in the post American era, Russians, Arabs, Orientals and Blacks are determined to work together.

This may seem like a contradiction with respect to President Vladimir Putin’s oft-heard criticism of multiculturalism, directed at Europe’s efforts to integrate Muslims. (Not to mention President Trump’s efforts to ‘whiten’ America, most recently by declaring that Haitians, who were welcomed on a ‘temporary’ basis after the 2010 earthquake, will have to leave by 2019…) President Putin’s position is that different ethnic groups should live in harmony with each other, each within their own borders. Today’s Russia, or rather the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) includes nine of the fifteen former member states of the Soviet Union, most of whose people are Muslims. (For reasons which are not entirely clear, Russia fought two wars to keep Chechnya under its control, and it has been a hotbed of terrorism. However its policies vis a vis the other Muslim states on its southern border as well as vis a vis a multi-racial world contrast with America’s.

While the US is mesmerized by ‘Russiagate’, Vladimir Putin draws to Moscow — or the Black Sea resort of Sochi — one national leader after another, offering Russia’s mediation in Africa and the Middle East.

Most recently he received Bashar al Assad, as well as the President of Sudan, while the Saudi King (with a 1500 person retinue) was in Moscow in October, Netanyahu having been there in March. Seven rounds of detailed Syrian peace talks involving the opposition have taken place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, under President Putin’s leadership.

Meanwhile, notwithstanding criticism from readers about a recent article that reflects the current Russophobia, Harpers magazine’s forum on the nuclear clock, which is currently at two minutes to midnight, while evoking a possible nuclear attack by North Korea, informs us that “the Russians have rehearsed the use of nuclear weapons” without mentioning the buildup of NATO troops on its European border to which these preparations respond.

When Americans decry their choice of President, rather than blaming Russia, they should consider themselves lucky that there is at least one adult in the room, and that is Vladimir Putin. However, the Russian could be running a race against time, as he gathers around him the leaders of the majority of the planet.

At the Danang, Vietnam APEC summit, Trump and Putin met several times briefly, no formal meeting.

Putin told Trump that no Russian US election meddling occurred last year – an indisputable fact!

Trump asked Putin about it, explaining “(h)e said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did.”

“I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it…I think he’s very insulted, if you want to know the truth.”

Indeed! No Russian meddling occurred. No evidence suggests otherwise. The Big Lie continues anyway, along with endless witch-hunt congressional and special council investigations finding nothing – because there’s nothing to find.

Western media scoundrels went wild over Trump’s remarks. Below are some of the many headlined stories:

Numerous other US media headlined stories on this issue were much the same. So were European ones from Britain and elsewhere – criticizing Trump for daring to suggest Putin’s denial of Russian meddling is true.

Trump is a moral coward, proved again by backing off from believing Putin spoke truthfully, saying “(a)s to whether I believe it or not, I’m with our agencies, especially as currently constituted with their leadership. I believe in our agencies. I’ve worked with them very strongly.”

Separately, he tweeted: “When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing.”

“There always playing politics – bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!”

Undemocratic Dems blasted Trump’s remarks on Putin. Rep. Ted Lieu tweeted: “I have seen the classified information on Russian hacking. @realDonaldTrump has received classified briefings. I can tell you that @POTUS is LYING. Trump knows the Kremlin hacked America last year.”

Fact: Intelligence community claims were fabricated, disgraceful Big Lies to delegitimize Trump and bash Russia.

Rep. Adam Schiff disgraced himself tweeting: “You know who else is insulted by it, Mr. President? The American people. You believe a foreign adversary over your own intelligence agencies.”

Neocon John McCain ranted: “There’s nothing ‘America First’ about taking the word of a KGB colonel over that of the American intelligence community.”

Former DNI James Clapper lied, saying “the president was given clear and indisputable evidence that Russia interfered in the election. His own DNI and CIA director have confirmed the finding in the intelligence community assessment. The fact that he would take Putin at his word over the intelligence community is unconscionable.”

A CIA statement said director Mike Pompeo “stands by and has always stood by the January 2017 Intelligence Community assessment…with regard to Russian election meddling.”

No comment so far from John Brennan, the CIA head behind the fabricated accusation of Russian US election meddling – one of numerous diabolical plots cooked up in Washington, the way all rogue states operate.

The Big Lie about alleged Russian meddling has a life of its own. Most Americans believe it, manipulated by repeated official and media propaganda, suppressing hard truths, substituting disinformation.

Along with lots more, it’s proof of America’s deplorable state – too debauched to fix. The only solution is nonviolent grassroots revolution. Nothing else can work!

US Presidential Election Unaffected by Russia

US intelligence community hypocrisy on Russian US election meddling baloney is clear for everyone paying attention to facts, not baseless accusations and shameful Russia bashing.

On the one hand, the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin are blamed for what never happened, no corroborating evidence cited after over a year of initial accusations.

On the other, the intelligence community says last year’s presidential election was unaffected by Russia.

Let’s see if I’ve got this straight. The CIA, NSA, FBI and Dems claim Russian meddling helped Trump defeat Hillary.

How if electoral results were unaffected by Russia? If meddling occurred, forensic analysis would have found clear evidence – no evidence, no interference, case closed.

At least it should be – not in America, not with a way to keep delegitimizing Trump for the wrong reasons, demonizing Russia at the same time.

Hillary’s whined about her loss for the past year – among other things, claiming “(t)here certainly was communication and there certainly was an understanding of some sort.”

“(T)here’s no doubt in my mind that Putin wanted me to lose and wanted Trump to win.”

“And there’s no doubt in my mind that there are a tangle of financial relationships between Trump and his operation with Russian money.”

“And there’s no doubt in my mind that the Trump campaign and other associates have worked really hard to hide their connections with Russians.”

Fact: There’s no doubt whatever that not a shred of evidence backs her sour grapes – baseless, vindictive and mean-spirited.

Her remarks, inability to accept defeat, and go quietly into the good night show a serious character flaw, among other distasteful things about her, along with her unaccountable high crimes, what’s most important of all.

Sunday on CBS News Face the Nation, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin addressed the phony Russian US election meddling issue, saying:

“…I’ve seen information. I’m not going to comment on any of the confidential information I’ve seen. We are carrying out the sanctions.”

“But let me be clear, nobody thinks this has had any impact on the election. So whatever occurred, there was no impact. So I think the American public is ready to move on to more important issues.”

Last October, CIA director Mike Pompeo said “(w)e conducted an election that had integrity. (T)he intelligence community’s assessment is that (Russia) did not affect the outcome of the election.”

Last January, in testimony before Senate Armed Services Committee members, then DNI James Clapper said “Russia did not change any vote tallies or anything of the sort.”

Senator Tom Cotton asked him “the intelligence community says, ‘(i)t would be extremely difficult for someone – including a nation-state actor to alter actual ballot counts or election results by cyberattack or intrusion,’ and you say to that earlier today as well that we have no evidence that vote tallies were altered or manipulated in anyway?”

Clapper responded: “That’s correct.”

Last November post-election, NSA head Mike Rogers said leaked DNC emails had no effect on the election. “I don’t think in the end it had the (intended) effect.”

Separately, he said “I do not think that the outcome of the election was impacted by” Russia – after earlier claiming “a nation state” tried interfering in the US election.

Let’s recap. The intelligence community and undemocratic Dems blame Russia for Hillary’s defeat.

At the same time, the CIA, NSA, former DNI and Treasury secretary said last year’s presidential election was unaffected by Russia.

If so, how did Trump defeat Hillary with no Russian help? Simple! He got way more Electoral College votes than she did, trouncing her by a 304 – 227 margin.

On November 8, 2016, the presidential campaign ended. He won. She lost. Postmortems continue over a year later.

Putin Issues Warning To The World: North Korea “On The Verge Of A Large-Scale Conflict”

(ZH) As tensions between the US, its regional allies and North Korea continue ebb and flow, depending on what and where Kim lobs the next missile and whether Kelly can block Trump from tweeting for the next few hours, Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided to personally weigh in on the conflict for the first time since the UN passed new sanctions against the North earlier this month. In an article published on the Kremlin’s web site, the Russian president warned that the two sides are “balancing on the verge of a large-scale conflict,” adding that any efforts to pressure the North to end its nuclear program would prove “futile,” and that the only tenable solution to the standoff would be a “dialogue with preconditions.”

“It is essential to resolve the region’s problems through direct dialogue involving all sides without advancing any preconditions (for such talks),” Putin wrote. “Provocations, pressure, and bellicose and offensive rhetoric is the road to nowhere.”

His remarks about a diplomatic solution alluded to a “road map” to peace formulated jointly between Russia and China…. without the U.S.

According to the joint Russian-Chinese deescalation plan, North Korea would stop work on its missile program in exchange for the US and South Korea halting large-scale war games, allowing tensions to gradually subside.

“Russia believes that the policy of putting pressure on Pyongyang to stop its nuclear missile programme is misguided and futile,” he wrote in the article sent to media in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – the BRICS member states.

“The region’s problems should only be settled through a direct dialogue of all the parties concerned without any preconditions. Provocations, pressure and militarist and insulting rhetoric are a dead-end road.”

As recently as last week, tensions between the two sides appeared to be easing, with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson praising the country’s restraint after the North went nearly a month without a new missile test, despite restrictive new UN sanctions that took effect on Aug. 5. That quickly changed with the beginning of the US and South Korea’s annual 11-day joint military exercises, which appeared to provoke an especially vitriolic response from the North this year, prompting not one but two rocket launches over the next few days.

Two days ago, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reportedly warned Tillerson that it would be “dangerous” to push for more sanctions against North Korea.

“Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Tillerson that the U.S. should avoid taking military actions against Kim Jong Un’s regime and that the Russian government believes additional sanctions could prove “counterproductive and dangerous.”

Tillerson’s response to Lavrov is unclear, but the pair did condemn the North’s most recent test on Monday, when a missile sailed over U.S. ally Japan.”

Of course, the North’s missile launch earlier this week which flew over Japan airspace appeared to – at least temporarily – startle investors, triggering a short-lived selloff in global stocks. A day ago, US and South Korea insisted on a provocation of their own, conducting a bombing drill with nuclear-capable US bombers and the new F-35 stealth fighter.

Despite the bellicose rhetoric from both sides, an all-out war is much less likely than the public might believe. Echoing comments made by former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, a professor warned yesterday that the US is in “no position” to start a war with the North because of the unprecedented devastation the North’s artillery could unleash on Seoul, the densely populated South Korean capital.

As Bannon said during an interview with the American Prospect, the US doesn’t have a tenable military option for toppling Kim Jong Un.

“Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.”

As the war of words stretches into its eighth month, observers will surely keep this in mind. Investors, on the other hand, are just looking for an opportunity to “buy the fucking nuclear war dip.”

Greeks Trust Putin Most Relative To Trump, Brits Undecided

Around the world, few people trust Russian President Vladimir Putin to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs. A global median of roughly one-in-four (26%) say they have confidence in the Russian leader. However, as KeepTalkingGreece reports, Greeks love the Russian President; much more so in fact than US President Donald Trump.

According to a survey conducted by PEW Research Center, only in three countries surveyed do majorities express a favorable opinion of Russia: Vietnam (83%), Greece (64%) and the Philippines (55%).

Doubts about Putin’s handling of foreign policy, however, do not necessarily coincide with perceptions of Russia as a security risk.

Across 37 countries, a median of 31% describe Russia’s power and influence as a major threat to their country – identical to the median percentage who say the same about China, and similar to the median share (35%) that sees America’s power and influence as a large threat.

Europeans are particularly harsh in their assessment of Putin, with a median in Europe of 78% expressing a lack of confidence in the leader. In the U.S. and Canada, few are confident in Putin’s global leadership, with more than three times as many people disliking Putin as liking him.

Faith in both leaders is high in South Africa and India while Australians, Canadians, and Brits just about trust Trump over Putin.

Moscow Retaliates Against New US Sanctions

Washington was ordered to reduce embassy and consular staff in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok to 455 people by September 1 – equaling the number of Russian diplomats and staff in America.

Its southern Moscow warehouses and Serebryany Bor property were frozen, access by US personnel suspended as of August 1.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin approved the moves. A Russian Foreign Ministry statement said “(i)n the case of new unilateral actions of the US authorities to reduce the number of our diplomats in the US, it will be followed by a tit-for-tat response.”

“We reserve the right on other mutual measures, which can affect US interests.”

“The United States insistently implements rough anti-Russian sanctions one after another under the absolutely far-fetched pretext of Russian meddling in their internal affairs,” flagrantly breaching international law.

“The US makes decisions on illegal sanctions against the Russian Federation, seizes Russian diplomatic property, which is formalized in legally binding bilateral documents, Russian diplomats are expelled from the country.”

“This clearly violates the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and generally accepted diplomatic practice.”

Despite outrageous US actions against Russia, the Kremlin “acted responsibly, showing restraint and has not responded to obvious provocations.”

“However, recent events indicate that Russophobia and the policy aimed at open confrontation with our country have reigned supreme in some circles in the US.”

Washington unacceptably acts aggressively toward Russia. “(U)nder the guise of its ‘exceptionalism,’ (it) arrogantly ignores other countries’ stances and interests.”

We’ve “been doing (our) utmost to normalize bilateral relations, develop ties and cooperation with the US on the most important issues on the international agenda, including, above all, fighting terrorism, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, drug trafficking, illegal migration, cyber crime and so on.”

“Moscow continues to proceed from the assumption that global problems could be effectively solved through joint efforts only. We are confident that this approach is shared by most people on the planet.”

Indeed!

US ambassador to Russia John Teft expressed strong disappointment over the Kremlim’s order to reduce Trump administration personnel in the country, along with freezing American property.

Perhaps he should reflect on how outrageously his country treats others – no matter which wing of its one-party state is in charge.

A Final Comment

Russian academic Nikolai Platoshkin suggested a harsher Kremlin response to new US sanctions if they’re enacted.

Congress excluded bilateral cooperation on space-related activities. The Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act does not apply to Russian cooperation with NASA.

Platoshkin suggested “cut(ting) them off from space. May they take a horse,” he said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov explained nothing is being ruled out “to bring overweening Russophobes to their senses…”

755 U.S. diplomats must leave Russia: Putin

President Vladimir Putin said 755 US diplomats must leave Russia and warned ties with Washington could be gridlocked for a long time, in a move Sunday that followed tough new American sanctions.

The Russian foreign ministry had earlier demanded Washington cut its diplomatic presence in Russia by September to 455 — the same number Moscow has in the US.

Mainstream Media Admits CIA Not Only Armed ‘Moderate’ Rebels It Paid them Monthly Salaries

The United States not only paid to arm and train “moderate Syrian rebels” as part of a CIA program that did much more to aid ISIS than it did to fight it, but it also reportedly paid the rebels monthly salaries.

The Washington Post cited its infamous anonymous U.S. officials in a report on Wednesday, which claimed that President Trump “has decided to end the CIA’s covert program to arm and train moderate Syrian rebels battling the government of Bashar al-Assad, a move long sought by Russia.”

While the Trump Administration has yet to confirm the news, it is important to remember that the United States’ efforts to train and equip “moderate Syrian rebels” were originally introduced by the Obama Administration in 2013 as a means to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

When reporting on the suspected change in policy, mainstream media outlets were quick to follow the Washington Post by crediting Russia—not for helping in the fight against ISIS, but for influencing the decision to let Assad stay in power. The New York Times wrote, “But the decision is bound to be welcomed by the Russians.” USA Today described the move as a “victory for Assad, Russia and Iran.” And The Hill reported that this was “a victory for Russia, which has called for the move for years.”

While a report from Financial Times described Russia as “Assad’s main backer,” and said that the country has “long pushed for the US to end support,” it added another element to the story by taking a look at the Syrian rebels who “have clung to a program of CIA assistance as a symbol of US support in their battle against Bashar al-Assad’s regime.”

Financial Times reported that these rebels claim “their CIA interlocutors had not confirmed any change” to the policy that was originally set by the Obama Administration, seeking the overthrow of Assad.

“Until now, nothing is confirmed. There have been no changes on the ground. When we spoke to the concerned parties [in the operations room] they were also surprised at the news,” Hassan Hamadeh, commander of the Division 101 rebel group, told FT. “Co-ordination is ongoing, and everything has been happening normally.”

Another rebel commander reportedly said that while “U.S. support had been waning for months,” the rebels “had been given their salaries as normal last month.”

The idea that the CIA is paying monthly salaries to the “moderate Syrian rebels” to fight against Assad—even when many of them are going on to join ISIS—is not a new concept.

Russian President Putin alluded to the idea in 2014, when he called out the Obama Administration for arming and training “the Syrians that were fighting Assad,” and then noted that both the “moderate rebels” and the “ISIS militants” are mercenaries, often fighting for the side that pays them the largest salary.

“Another threat that President Obama mentioned was ISIS. Well who on earth armed them? Who armed the Syrians that were fighting with Assad? Who created the necessary political information and climate that facilitated this situation? Who pushed for the delivery of arms to the area? Do you really not understand who is fighting in Syria? They are mercenaries mostly. Do you understand they are paid money? Mercenaries fight for whichever side pays more. So they arm them and pay them a certain amount. I even know what these amounts are. So they fight. They have the arms. You can’t get them to return the weapons of course, at the end. Then they discover elsewhere pays a little more…so they go fight there. Then they occupy the oil fields.”

As The Free Thought Project has reported, Israel was exposed for secretly paying these so-called rebels to protect oil sites in the Golan Heights that are used for profit by investors such as Jacob Rothschild, Rupert Murdoch, and Dick Cheney.

In the same fashion, Putin noted that in the areas where ISIS is profiting from oil—and the United States is looking the other way and choosing to bomb areas filled with civilians instead—the Islamic State tends to offer higher salaries, and as a result, “the rebels from ‘civilized’ Syrian opposition forces immediately join ISIS, because they pay more.”

Putin and Trump Meet at G20

Will a full-fledged summit follow in a mutually agreed on location? Having one won’t improve bilateral relations as long as neocons make policy in Washington, but at least it might foster a spirit of good will, hopefully to build on at a later time.

If past is prologue, odds against it are long, yet without trying, improved bilateral relations will remain unattainable.

Putin and Trump met on the sidelines of the Hamburg, Germany G20 summit. Sergey Lavrov and Rex Tillerson participated in the talks. No one else was involved except translators for both leaders.

Putin reportedly told Trump they spoke by “phone several times on very important matters of the bilateral and international agenda,” adding:

“Naturally, telephone conversations are never enough if we want to find solutions to pressing issues on the bilateral agenda and the most sensitive, acute issues on the international agenda.”

Trump responded, saying “President Putin and I have been discussing various things and I think that it’s going very well. We look forward to a lot of very positive things happening for Russia, for the United States and for everybody concerned.”

Extending his hand to Putin, he said “(i)t’s an honor to be with you. Thank you.” Putin responded, saying “I’m delighted to meet you personally, and I hope our meeting will bring results.

Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin expressed concern about lack of US fairness in global trade. How can there be when Washington imposes financial and economic restrictions on other nations, he explained.

In Poland before heading to Hamburg, Trump delivered mixed messages. Asked if he accepts the US intelligence community’s claim about alleged Russian interference in last year’s election, he said:

“I think it was Russia, and I think it could have been other people and other countries. It could have been a lot of people interfered.”

Addressing a crowd in Warsaw, his tone was far different, saying “(w)e urge Russia to cease its destabilizing activities in Ukraine and elsewhere,” and stop supporting Iran and Syria.

He knows no Russian US election hacking occurred. He knows claims about “Russian aggression” in Ukraine are fabricated.

He knows no Russian destabilization efforts in Ukraine or elsewhere occurred or remain ongoing.

What he knows v. says and does are far different. Washington is implacably hostile to Russia. It’s all about its sovereign independence and opposition to US imperialism.

Putin/Trump talks in Hamburg and ahead if more take place won’t change a thing.

The agendas of both countries are world’s apart. America wants unchallenged global dominance, aggressive wars its main strategy of choice – Russia and China on its target list for regime change.

US war on either country would be madness. With lunatics running the Washington asylum, the risk is too great to ignore.

Russia Says ISIS Planning to Gas Syrian Civilians, Frame Assad, To Justify US Invasion

Moscow, Russia – On Thursday, during a weekly press briefing by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spokeswoman Maria Zakharova explained that their intelligence has revealed active terrorist plots to stage chemical attacks in Syria in order to justify and precipitate U.S. strikes and increased intervention in the Syrian civil war.

The information exposes ongoing plans by Syrian terrorist groups to stage chemical weapons attacks, to be blamed on the Assad government, in an effort to justify U.S. attacks against Syrian government forces.

“According to information available [to us], Syrian terrorist groups plan staged provocative actions with the use of chemical poison gases to justify US strikes against the positions of the Syrian government forces,” Zakharova said at a weekly press briefing.

The intelligence reveals that ISIS has deployed laboratories and equipment for manufacturing chemical weapons from its capital of Raqqa to Deir ez-Zor, according to Zakharova.

“Daesh is transferring workshops and equipment for the production of ammunition, including those equipped with chemical agents, from the city of Raqqa to the controlled areas of Deir ez-Zor province,” Zakharova said.

With the U.S.-led coalition claiming to have almost completely encircled the ISIS capital of Raqqa, it begs the question of how the terrorists are able to move these chemical laboratories without complicity from the U.S.

Zakharova noted that “the movement of such large-scale equipment from under the nose of the coalition forces can indicate at least a selective unwillingness to see the facts.”

“I think you can speak with a high degree of probability about complicity with insurgents,” Zakharova asserted.

Although the U.S. was quick to blame the Assad government for an April 4 chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun without any independent corroboration, MIT professor, and former DoD analyst Theodore Postol thoroughly debunked this assessment and revealed that it was much more likely the work of terrorist groups attempting to draw the U.S. further into a Syrian regime change operation.

“We will continue to consistently seek the most professionally rigorous and politically impartial investigation into the investigation of both the Khan Sheikhoun chemical incident and other persistent chemical provocations against the legitimate Syrian government,” Zakharova said.

On April 4, the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces supported by the United States blamed the Syrian government for an alleged chemical weapon attack in Khan Sheikhoun in Syria’s Idlib province. Reacting to the incident, Washington, which had not presented any proof of the chemical weapons use by Damascus, launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at the Syrian governmental military airfield in Ash Sha’irat on April 6.

Damascus has repeatedly denied any involvement in the incident and said that the Syrian government doesn’t possess chemical weapons as the full destruction of Damascus’ chemical weapons stockpile had been confirmed by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in January 2016.

In an interview with Sputnik on April 21, Assad characterized the alleged chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun as a provocation to justify the US strike on Ash Sha’irat. The Syrian leader also warned of the possibility of the new provocations similar to the one in Khan Sheikhoun.

Then just last week, the Trump administration began publicly claiming that the Syrian government was planning new chemical attacks but failed to present any evidence to support the bold assertions.

The White House vowed to make the Syrian government “pay a heavy price” for the use of chemical weapons. These new assertions lay the groundwork for terrorists to attack civilians with chemical munitions, only to have the blame be shifted onto the Syrian government as a “legitimate” reason for attacking Syrian government forces.

The Kremlin publicly commented on the White House’s claims and said that it considers US’ threats against Syrian legitimate leadership to be “unacceptable.” The Syrian government in Damascus also denied the information.

In a press briefing at the U.S. State Department last Thursday, RT reporter Caleb Maupin took direct aim at the U.S. government position, questioning State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert whether the administration’s public statement set the stage for a false flag to be blamed on the Assad government.

“Are you concerned that that could have created an opening for terrorist groups to carry out a chemical attack?” Maupin asked Nauert during the State Department’s press briefing.

Nauert gave Maupin a looked stunned by the question.

“No,” Nauert said, revealing a complete lack of logical thought.

Maupin continued, “You’re not concerned even though al-Nusra /al-Qaeda groups have been using chemical weapons in Syria, that’s documented?”

Like a good little puppet for the U.S. war machine, Nauert refused to even acknowledge the possibility and quickly attempted to shift the conversation away from Maupin’s questioning and the very distinct reality that the administration’s statements clearly set the stage for a false flag attack that could quite easily be blamed on the Assad government.

It is also important to note how ignorant someone would have to be to believe that Assad would ever gas his own people given the known consequences of US intervention. He would effectively be signing his and his entire administration’s death certificates.

When you see statements such as these it’s time to be extremely vigilant, as there is a clear movement towards deepening U.S. regime change operations in Syria under the guise of humanitarian intervention.
