World War 3? Pakistan Vows REVENGE On India After Attack

As the world quietly goes about their business, Pakistan has vowed to get revenge on India after an attack.  The tensions between the two nations are quickly spiraling out of control leading many to wonder if World War 3 will break out in the area soon.

According to the Express UK, the devastating attack from India along the contested border known as the Line of Control (LoC) as tensions between the two South Asian nations flare, a retired soldier has claimed. The LoC splits the region of Kashmir, with Pakistan owning one side and India, the other. The region of Kashmir has been contested by both countries for decades causing high levels of tensions between the neighboring states.

Fayaz Ahmad, a politician from the Kashmir region of India, stated that announcements were made over some loudspeakers on the Pakistan side of Balakote that have declared acts of “retaliation” will take place.  “They said that India has killed many of our soldiers, we will take revenge for it after we bury our dead today. People are advised to take safety precautions,” said Ahmad.

Another resident in the region, Naseer Ahmad, spoke of “bombs exploding” and bullets being fired in the midst of heavy shelling. “All one could hear was the sound of bullets hitting tin or bombs exploding. The firing continued from morning till evening. We could see smoke from the hills around us. We are stressed. We don’t know what will happen when it will stop,” said the resident.

On Sunday New Delhi said that Pakistan had been “punished” for its “misadventure”, according to Brigadier Y.S Ahlawat of the Indian Army.  “In a befitting reply, the Indian Army has retaliated accurately with heavy fire on the Pakistani posts which were involved in ceasefire violations,” Ahlawat said.

Although India claimed that they were responding to aggression from Pakistan, an Indian resident in the area of the violation insisted that New Delhi started firing on its neighbor first. “The firing started from our side and then the Pakistanis also opened fire,” said the Indian resident.

But both sides have been accused of engaging in violations to the ceasefire that is supposed to be in agreement along the contested border. Both sides also accuse the other of regularly violating the ceasefire agreement in the hotly contested area of the LoC.  Late last month, Pakistan terrorist groups were accused of “conspiring to wage a war” against India.

Tensions between the two nations have led to actual confrontations and actions, sparking fears that World War 3 is just around the corner. Since February 22, the two South Asian nations have exchanged fire from both guns and mortars that have forced an estimated 2,600 residents in five villages to desperately flee areas of rising tensions. India recently disclosed that it was forced to evacuate “over 36,000” people from other areas along its border as ceasefire violations between itself and its neighbor continue to mount.

While people in the United States eat Tide Pods and come up with ways to destroy the rights of others, war is breaking out around key parts of the world and most are unaware. And history has shown everyone that once a war breaks out, the US war machine can’t help but make sure they add fuel the fire. 

Baltimore Chaos - Ceasefire In "Violence-Plagued" City Starts Today

A ceasefire between Baltimore “gang leaders, drug dealers and others linked to the violence” has been agreed on and will come into effect on Friday.

This is an act of desperation from a community that is currently experiencing a homicide rate doubled of Chicago’s and a murder count higher than NYC. The ceasefire aims to stop the killings for at-least 72-hours, starting on August 04-06.

The slogan selected by organizers gets right to the point: “Nobody kill anybody”.

Violent crime in Baltimore has flourished over the past few years, due to the “Ferguson Effect”, along with the death of “Freddie Gray” that triggered Baltimore’s April 2015 riots.

According to the Economist, Baltimore may see more than 400 murders this year. This would indicate 2017 will be the deadliest year ever on record.

August homicides are already in full-swing leading up to the ceasefire.

Yearly data projects many more months of violent crime for the city.

Mapping out the 208 homicides across Baltimore City looks like battleship.

If nothing else comes from the ceasefire, such gestures were a first step in helping residents feel that they were regaining control of neighborhoods, said Cassandra Crifasi, deputy director of the Johns Hopkins-Baltimore Collaborative for Violence Reduction.

“Even if it ends up being only one day without a shooting, that’s going to be good for the city,” Crifasi said.

Conclusion

It’s highly unlikely that Baltimore “gang leaders, drug dealers and others linked to the violence”  will take a 72-hour loss in profits and give up their corner where drugs are peddled from.

Baltimore is a chaotic war zone and it’s time we start treating it like one.

Ceasefire in Southwest Syria

Earlier bilaterally agreed on cessation of hostilities were only observed by Syria, its allied ground forces and Russia. Given Washington’s rage for regime change, it’s hard imagining success this time, except perhaps short-term.

Historically, US commitments weren’t worth the paper they were written on. Sergey Lavrov saying “(t)he United States has made a commitment that all the groups present there will observe the ceasefire” may be wishful thinking – given how many times before Russian good faith efforts were betrayed, in Syria and elsewhere.

Areas covered by ceasefire terms will be monitored and enforced by Russian, US and Jordanian forces. They prohibit combat operations by all parties.

It’s hoped humanitarian aid can be delivered to thousands of beleaguered civilians. A monitoring center in Amman will oversea things.

From Hamburg, Putin said Washington’s position hasn’t “changed drastically” from Obama to Trump though it now seems “more pragmatic.”

It hasn’t been so far, whether ahead remains to be seen. With Trump hostage to dark forces running America, it’s hard imagining more accommodative US policies toward Russia, Syria and other sovereign independent countries.

Continuity seems far more likely. Another significant false flag CW attack could trigger US forces and terrorists they support breaching the new ceasefire.

At her latest weekly  press briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned about anti-Syrian terrorist groups “planning to stage provocations using poison gas in order to justify US strikes against the positions of Syrian government forces.”

“Most likely, these attacks will be carried out in a residential area that cannot be accessed by Syrian authorities, one of which is the opposition’s enclave in Eastern Ghouta where chemical weapons had earlier been delivered,” she explained.

“Jaysh al-Islam and Faylaq al-Rahman (terrorists) are known to have several rockets with chemical warheads in the towns of Ain Terma and Sabka. Each rocket weighs about 150 km.”

“Similar provocations cannot be ruled out in southern Syria where armed groups controlled by Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel are operating, and also in eastern Syria.”

“According to current reports, ISIS is redeploying workshops and ammunition-manufacturing equipment from Raqqa to areas of Deir ez-Zor province controlled by them.”

“This equipment can also be used to manufacture ammunition with chemical warheads. Chemical weapons components have been delivered to the city of Abu-Kamal on the border with Iraq. Several chemists are accompanying this consignment, and they are currently stockpiling toxic agents.”

US-led forces in northern Syria claimed to have ISIS fighters surrounded in Raqqa. Yet a corridor was conveniently left open for many of them to redeploy toward Deir Ezzor, taking weapons and heavy equipment with them.

Zakharova accused Washington of “aiding and abetting” them. Separately, Tillerson disturbingly said Russia “has a responsibility to ensure that the needs of the Syrian people are met and that no faction in Syria illegitimately re-takes or occupies areas liberated from ISIS or other terrorist groups’ control,” adding:

Moscow has “an obligation to prevent any further use of chemical weapons of any kind by the Assad regime.”

Pretty deplorable stuff by the chief diplomat of a nation responsible for naked aggression on Syria, including support for ISIS and other terrorist groups, along with their use of CWs against civilians and government forces.

No evidence shows Assad used them any time throughout over six years of war. Under international supervision, they were all destroyed.

In response to Tillerson’s comments, Putin in Hamburg expressed strong support for Syrian sovereignty over all its territory and right of its people to decide their leadership and future.

US Left Out As Russia And Turkey Broker Nationwide Syrian Ceasefire

(ANTIMEDIA) — The United States’ self-appointed position of peace broker in the Middle East has been steadily diminishing over the last few years. The superpower’s ability to waltz into a nation with its sophisticated military — proceeding to call the shots — has also seemingly disappeared.

Just hours ago, the Syrian government and opposition groups on the ground agreed to a nationwide ceasefire aimed at ending the bloody conflict. Despite the fact the United States military is on the ground in Syria, the United States had no hand in the ceasefire whatsoever; it was reached courtesy of regional powers Turkey, Russia, and Iran. Despite the fact Russia and Turkey have both openly supported polar opposite sides of the conflict, they have promised to act as guarantors of the ceasefire.

In addition to promising to scale back his mission in Syria, Putin announced that plans moving forward involved the signing of three main documents. An agreement between the Syrian government and armed groups on the ground was signed regarding the ceasefire. They also signed a document relating to the measures necessary for overseeing the truce, as well as an agreement to initiate peace talks.

Designated terror groups ISIS and al-Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra/al-Sham were specifically left out of the agreement, calling into question the operation to retake Idlib, a city known to be held largely by the aforementioned al-Qaeda-linked group.

The ceasefire comes just days after Turkey publicly claimed to have physical evidence that the United States directly supports ISIS, which is especially noteworthy given Turkey’s longstanding practice of supporting all manner of terror groups in Syria, including ISIS. Turkey appears set to abandon its NATO ambitions in the region and strengthen ties with the Eastern bloc, including Russia and Iran.

Fortunately, theories that the recent assassination of a Russian ambassador on Turkish soil was an attempt to sabotage peace talks and pave the way for World War III seem to have fallen flat.

Although it is unlikely to hold, this peace deal may be the much-needed break that the people of Syria have been waiting for during the last five years of a brutal conflict.

Is Syrian War Over? Putin’s Ceasefire Includes Plan to “Break Up Syria Into Sub-States”

The war could be over in Syria. A peace is being negotiated on Putin’s terms, signaling a drastic shift away from American hegemony and unipolar world order.

Assad’s forces, fully backed by Russia, finally secured a decisive defeat in Aleppo, turning the tide for the factions of “moderate rebels” and “ISIS terrorists” that have been ruling intermittently in pockets of Syria.

Now, with targeted diplomats and larger threats to peace, President Putin has scored a psychological victory over the West, negotiating a peace in Syria in which the U.S. and NATO have no official involvement.

The deal could lead to a new political system in Syria that would break the country into three sub-states, and a formal federal overlay, inherent in the tensions surrounding the embattled state. President Assad would retain power for a short time, before being replaced by a new leader.

According to the Daily Caller:

Russia, Turkey, and Iran are reportedly discussing splitting Syria into three autonomous sub-states in a final deal to end the ongoing Syrian civil war, Reuters reports.

The three sub-states would be regionally autonomous and nominally remain under the power of a federal administrative system. This federal system would retain Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad in the beginning, before a less divisive figure took the helm. Assad’s religious sect, Shiite Alawites, would remain in charge of the federal system and have their own zone of influence under the terms of the deal.

The Syrian proposal hearkens back to Vice President Joe Biden’s 2006 proposal to split Iraq into three autonomous sub-states in lieu of pursuing the 2007 troop surge.

[…] Each of the three countries retains a large geopolitical stake in Syria’s future.

Turkey wants to deny Syria’s Kurdish minority a de-facto state on its border, whom they regard as an existential threat on the same level with the Islamic State. Iran wants to retain a friendly Shiite ally along its border, and remains invested in Assad’s leadership. Russia conversely backs Assad but ultimately wants to retain its basing rights in Syria, and broker a successful deal to signal leadership role in world affairs.

[…] After a ceasefire is fully in place, the U.S. and its Gulf-Arab allies would be brought into the negotiations to offer input. The lack of a U.S. role in the ceasefire or beginning framework of the talks is a significant embarrassment to the Obama administration.

The Obama Administration has been conspicuously quiet, having been embarrassed out of the arena some time ago.

Two terms of a disastrous foreign policy, under the misleadership of Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, have undermined U.S. interest, created more terrorism, escalated tensions with Russia and inflamed relations between Muslims and the Western world.
