World War 3? Pakistan Vows REVENGE On India After Attack

As the world quietly goes about their business, Pakistan has vowed to get revenge on India after an attack.  The tensions between the two nations are quickly spiraling out of control leading many to wonder if World War 3 will break out in the area soon.

According to the Express UK, the devastating attack from India along the contested border known as the Line of Control (LoC) as tensions between the two South Asian nations flare, a retired soldier has claimed. The LoC splits the region of Kashmir, with Pakistan owning one side and India, the other. The region of Kashmir has been contested by both countries for decades causing high levels of tensions between the neighboring states.

Fayaz Ahmad, a politician from the Kashmir region of India, stated that announcements were made over some loudspeakers on the Pakistan side of Balakote that have declared acts of “retaliation” will take place.  “They said that India has killed many of our soldiers, we will take revenge for it after we bury our dead today. People are advised to take safety precautions,” said Ahmad.

Another resident in the region, Naseer Ahmad, spoke of “bombs exploding” and bullets being fired in the midst of heavy shelling. “All one could hear was the sound of bullets hitting tin or bombs exploding. The firing continued from morning till evening. We could see smoke from the hills around us. We are stressed. We don’t know what will happen when it will stop,” said the resident.

On Sunday New Delhi said that Pakistan had been “punished” for its “misadventure”, according to Brigadier Y.S Ahlawat of the Indian Army.  “In a befitting reply, the Indian Army has retaliated accurately with heavy fire on the Pakistani posts which were involved in ceasefire violations,” Ahlawat said.

Although India claimed that they were responding to aggression from Pakistan, an Indian resident in the area of the violation insisted that New Delhi started firing on its neighbor first. “The firing started from our side and then the Pakistanis also opened fire,” said the Indian resident.

But both sides have been accused of engaging in violations to the ceasefire that is supposed to be in agreement along the contested border. Both sides also accuse the other of regularly violating the ceasefire agreement in the hotly contested area of the LoC.  Late last month, Pakistan terrorist groups were accused of “conspiring to wage a war” against India.

Tensions between the two nations have led to actual confrontations and actions, sparking fears that World War 3 is just around the corner. Since February 22, the two South Asian nations have exchanged fire from both guns and mortars that have forced an estimated 2,600 residents in five villages to desperately flee areas of rising tensions. India recently disclosed that it was forced to evacuate “over 36,000” people from other areas along its border as ceasefire violations between itself and its neighbor continue to mount.

While people in the United States eat Tide Pods and come up with ways to destroy the rights of others, war is breaking out around key parts of the world and most are unaware. And history has shown everyone that once a war breaks out, the US war machine can’t help but make sure they add fuel the fire.

They Seized His Truck Because He Had 5 Bullets

They Seized His Truck Because He Had 5 Bullets

Driving with bullets apparently is now a crime in America. That’s what one U.S. citizen discovered.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized Gerardo Serrano’s truck and kept it for two years because he had five rounds in his center console.

The truck was stopped by CBP at a border crossing in Eagle Pass, Texas, because Serrano was taking pictures of the border crossing to share with his family, the Institute for Justice alleges. That caused agents to search his truck.

When they found five low-caliber bullets, the agents alleged Serrano with transporting “munitions of war” and instituted civil forfeiture proceedings against him. That enabled them to take the Ford F-250 without even charging Serrano with a crime. He had to rent a car to get home to Kentucky.

Detained for Taking Pictures

“Gerardo was never convicted of a crime, let alone charged with one,” the Institute alleges. “Indeed, forgetting a few bullets in your car is not a crime. For taking pictures, Gerardo’s truck was seized under a law designed to punish international arms smugglers, not innocent Americans visiting family in Mexico.”

The Institute added, “No court has ever approved the seizure of Gerardo’s truck, and Gerardo has never had an opportunity to argue that he should get the truck back.”

To get the truck back, the Institute had to sue the CPB on Serrano’s behalf. Finally, it was returned in late October.

“The government cannot illegally seize and keep someone’s property for two years, and then give it back and pretend like no harm was done,” said Institute attorney Robert Everett Johnson. “We will continue to fight to see that Gerardo is made whole, and to make sure this never happens again.”

Under civil forfeiture law, prosecutors sue a piece of property in civil court instead of filing criminal charges. That enables them to take property, or money without filing charges or going to criminal court.

The US Military Is Making Bullets That Grow into Flowers After Shooting

January 19, 2017   |   Jake Anderson

(ANTIMEDIA) With climate change initiatives increasingly calling for biodegradable polymers to replace plastic, the pressure continues to mount on both federal and private entities to clean up their acts. The United States Department of Defense has reacted to this pressure with a new technology that would replace training ammunition with biodegradable material that contains bioengineered seeds. The seeds would sprout into flowers that consume the biodegradable components of the ammo.

The new proposed initiative, created by the DoD with assistance from the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, intends to phase out current training ammunition, including 40 mm grenades and 155 mm artillery rounds. The initiative will not affect ammunition rounds in active combat zones; however, the environmental impact of ammunition in training zones is greater. In fact, a report released by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) states that contamination from training ammunition covers 15 million acres of land.

The new initiative would have a two-pronged effect: one, it would prevent further contamination; two, it would help eliminate past contaminants, defraying some of the estimated $35 billion cleanup bill.

There is, of course, no small irony in ammunition sprouting flowers, given the history of the flower as a symbol for peace. For instance, a seminal image from the 1960s features a Vietnam War protester, later named Flower Child, holding out a flower to a legion of troops at the March on the Pentagon. Poppy flowers were also symbolically associated with the end of World War 1 and, subsequently, pacifism. Even this symbolism, however, is not without controversy, as over the decades some have come to view poppies as representative of British militarism.

The DoD hopes the replacement of hundreds of thousands of training ammunition rounds with biodegradable material will inspire others in the private sector to take on similar projects that diminish our reliance on plastic. In the meantime, the U.S. military will sprout flowers from bullets in order to clean up collateral contamination.
