The Death Of Free Speech: Twitter Ramps Up CENSORSHIP Of ‘Hate Facts’

Twitter is banning conservatives and others who don’t subscribe to the leftist mentality plaguing social media.  Using the excuse that people are posting “hate facts,” the social media outlet is just shutting down accounts that post any truth that doesn’t fare well for the liberal agenda.

By now, it should be well understood that the terms “hate facts” and “hate speech” are nothing more than buzzwords used by the left as an excuse to suppress the speech of those with which they disagree.  This is becoming more and more apparent as we devolve quickly toward a fully totalitarian system too.

Breitbart reported that the most high-profile individual to be banned on this basis was Islam critic Tommy Robinson, who received a permanent ban from Twitter after he posted statistics showing that Muslims are vastly overrepresented in child grooming gangs in the U.K. Robinson is now taking Twitter to court to prove that “facts are now treated as hate.”

The censorship of British accounts, including those of the Britain First team, is tied to increasing pressure from European governments for social media platforms to censor their users. Robinson claims that 10,000 Twitter accounts have been closed at the request of the U.K. government over alleged “hate.”

Facebook has banned the conservative political group Britain First for breaking its rules that prohibit “hate speech” on the social media platform.  Facebook said they had “repeatedly posted content designed to incite animosity and hatred against minority groups.”

Britain First described itself as “a patriotic resistance and ‘frontline’ for our long-suffering people” that will “restore Christianity as the bedrock” of national life and put British workers first. –SHTFPlan

There are now concerns that the accounts of American users are also being shut down at the request of European governments. Nick Monroe, an independent journalist based in America, says he was banned from the platform after he began an investigation of Tell MAMA, an “anti-Islamophobia” organization based in the United Kingdom. Monroe’s account was eventually restored without explanation only after he publicized his story, and Breitbart contacted Twitter for comments. 

Even when European politics aren’t involved, Twitter still punishes conservatives for making factual claims. Conservative twitter user Mark Samenfink had his account locked after claiming that black-on-black homicide was more common than other types of homicide and implying that Islamic terror attacks were more common than non-Islamic terror attacks.  But these facts fly in the fact of the globalist and liberal agenda of complete government control over everyone, so Twitter is doing it’s part to suppress factual information, just like Google, and Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany.

Twitter also refuses to address attempts by left-wingers to scam its reporting system. Pro-Israel account Ozraeli Dave was hit with a temporary suspension over a tweet in which he called out an anti-semitic tweet from another user. Facebook has used this tactic as well, suspending a conservative comedian for posting violent hate messages he’s received from liberals.

Williams stated that despite multiple reports drawing Facebook’s attention to the screenshots and the abuse he keeps receiving, Facebook failed to act. “Facebook said that they reviewed the screenshots and said that none of the threats violated Facebook’s guidelines,” said Williams. –SHTFPlan

In January, Twitter employees were caught on camera boasting about discriminating against pro-Trump, conservative accounts. One employee discussed shadowbanning political accounts, a practice that Twitter has continually denied using, while another claimed that accounts that expressed an interest in “god, guns, and America” were likely to be flagged as “bots.” Another employee, Mo Norai, explained that Twitter moderators regularly discriminated against accounts deemed to be pro-Trump.

Declassified CIA Docs Reveal Hitler Survived WW2, With Picture to Prove it

Washington, DC – Newly declassified CIA files seem to confirm certain FBI documents related to Adolf Hilter, which claimed the Nazi Fuehrer escaped Germany and took up residence in South America after World War II.

The files indicate that in 1955, the chief of the CIA’s Western Hemisphere Division (WHD) received a secret memo with the subject line “Operational: Adolf Hitler,” from the acting CIA station chief in Venezuela, which indicated that one of his sources had received a tip that the Nazi Fuhrer was indeed alive and living in Argentina.

Interestingly, these revelations seem to confirm declassified FBI documents that also claimed sources had indicated that Hitler was indeed living in Argentina.
While the official story sold to the global public is that Hitler died of suicide in the Fuhrerbunker, the actual truth may be vastly different from the popularized version of events.

The acting CIA station chief’s informants, CIMELODY, was contacted by a former SS trooper Phillip Citroen, who claimed to have been in contact with Hitler—who was living under the pseudonym Adolph Schuttlemayer—about once a month in Colombia, while there on a trip from Maracaibo as an employee of the Royal Dutch Shipping Company.

Citroen said that Hitler had left Colombia for Argentina around January 1955, and erroneously suggested that the statute of limitations for war crimes had passed—as it had been 10 years since the end of World War II—and that the Allies could no longer prosecute Hitler as a war criminal.

The CIA documents reveal that Citroen told CIMELODY that he had even taken a photo with Hitler, and provided a grainy picture that was included in the CIA memo—with Hitler purported to be the man on the right.

After reviewing the CIA’s files, the WHD chief reported that Citroen had only the year before reported that a colony of Nazis was present in Colombia that engaged in “idolatry of the Nazi past addressing him as ‘der Fuhrer’ and affording him the Nazi salute and storm trooper adulation,” in reference to Hitler himself.

The station chief wrote the WHP chief again only days later to engage in further investigation of whether or not it really was Adolf Hitler.

The HPD chief then incredibly made the decision to drop further inquiry, as he felt “enormous efforts could be expended on this matter with remote possibilities of establishing anything concrete.”

A seemingly strange response considering the magnitude of the report and veracity of the sources credibility in that Citroen was a former Nazi himself.

Perhaps there is more to the story than a war weary public was led to believe in the wake of the devastation of WWII, and the truth lies somewhere other than what has became the official narrative of Hitler’s death in the Fuhrerbunker with his bride—with reality being much closer to an escape with may other Nazi war criminals to South America.

Adolf Hitler never had any children, but most historians reveal how much he apparently loved the little ones… IF they were of pure Aryan blood. He also loved, they say, his dog Blondi, appropriately being a German Shepherd. Most, if not all, of the top Nazis in his regime were devoted family men. One wonders if Heinrich Himmler, after his trips to the concentration camps to view the half starved, pajama wearing inmates, and of course the gassing and incineration system he supervised, came home to his lovely daughter Gudrun, who he affectionately called Puppi (Dolly). Did his deputy Reinhardt Heydrich find time to play with his children, Heider, Silke and Marti after he planned the operation of the ‘Final Solution’ for Himmler? As to the man who kept the ‘Cattle Cars’ rolling on schedule to and from the myriad of concentration camps, did Adolf Eichmann sit his young ones:  Klaus, Horst and Dieter on his knees and read them bedtime stories? The historians tell us that all of these men were devoted and caring fathers, and in Hitler’s case, looked upon as ‘Uncle Adolf’.

We know from our American historians that Richard Nixon loved Trisha and Julie, his devoted daughters. Did he spend a quiet Christmas eve and Christmas day with them while his Operation Linebacker II (December 18-29 1972) sent the heaviest in decades B-52 bomber assault upon Hanoi? Did he exchange wonderful gifts with the girls while thousands of civilians were killed during the raids, the most since WW2? Fast forward to the 1980s and the ‘great’ inspiration of fearless Amerikan President Reagan. While under his command the ultra right wing Salvadoran death squads were murdering anyone, including priests (Romero) and nuns who showed dissent. Yet, Ronnie had time to spend time with his children, Michael, Christine, Patti, Maureen and Ron Jr. He was, from all accounts, a good dad. So was Poppy Bush ,the first President Bush. He must of spent lots of time with his five children, even when he ordered the ‘carpet bombing’ of Iraq during  ‘Desert Storm’ (August 1990- February 1991). Did Bush give his son ‘W’ insights (for his own future illegal attack on Iraq in 2003) when our air force annihilated defeated Iraqi soldiers as they retreated. As to our own military, shipped over in droves to a (so called) war that never should have taken place , would ‘Poppy’ like it if his sons or daughter came down with ‘Gulf War Syndrome’ ? This condition, according to many scientific experts, was most likely caused by our chemical weapons’ clouds of residue that ‘blew back’ to our own side.

William Jefferson Clinton became president in 1992, continuing the economic sanctions against Iraq. We know how much Bill and his wife Hillary loved their only child, Chelsea. Most likely, as with many parents of an only child, she was spoiled in a loving way. Well, the harsh U.S. led sanctions against Iraq led to many Iraqis becoming half starved and sickly. So much so that thousands, perhaps tens, even hundreds of thousands died during his eight years in office. His former Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, when she moved on to be (ironically) Ambassador to the UN, was asked in 1996 by reporter Leslie Stahl: “We have heard that half a million children have died. That’s more children than  died in Hiroshima. And you know, is the price worth it?” Madame Albright’s response: “I think this is a very hard choice, but the price, we think the price is worth it.” In 2003, George W Bush, as ‘Commander in Grief’, ordered or rather was told  by his handlers to sign off on the most heinous and immoral (and illegal) pre-emptive attack on another nation in our country’s history. As the embedded and servile mainstream media cheered our carpet bombing of Iraq, Bush Jr. most likely was doting on his twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara. After all, it doesn’t matter how many of other people’s loved ones, including young children, our bombs and depleted uranium weapons destroy, it’s our family values that matter, isn’t it?

Finally, we come to our last two presidents. We know both of them love their children. Mr. Obama obviously loved his girls more than he did the children of Libya. He allowed Ms. Hillary, ‘The Wicked Witch’ to convince him to sign off on another great carpet bombing campaign by our country. He must have been proud, as he shot some hoops at the White House, with how we destroyed one of the most progressive nations in Africa. Did he sit with his girls to watch the complete chaos he caused, and Ms. Clinton topping it off with “We came , we saw.. he died.” Did Obama teach his daughters how much of the chaos in Syria was exacerbated by what we did in Libya? Well, he gave way to ‘The Donald’ who knows as little about world affairs as Bush Jr. did. Yet, we do know how much this man has doted on his children, giving his Ivanka the ‘leg up’ to become a mega millionaire. She is claimed to be his close adviser as well. One wonders if she ‘signed off ‘ on his dropping that ‘Mother of All Bombs’ last month. Or if she likes the fact that her dad apparently has little or no backbone, as he has reneged on many of his populist policy promises to the fools who followed him to the voting booth. Just like all of the aforementioned (so called) leaders we have elected, Mr. Trump will do what the real ‘Deep State’ or Military Industrial Empire orders him to do. That is the real family that these men all belong to.

"White Supremacist","Gentle Giant" James Fields Denied Bail, Said "Hitler's Policies Were Good"

Charlottesville car attack driver James Fields, described both as a "gentle giant" by some and "hard-core pro-Hitler" by others who know him, was ordered held without bond Monday as he faces second degree murder and other charges for ramming the grey car into the crowd, killing a 32-year-old woman and injuring 19 others.

As NYDailyNews.com reports, Fields appeared via video in Charlottesville court wearing a black and white collared jumpsuit. No cameras were allowed to film or photograph the proceeding. Mr. Fields was charged with one count of second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding and one count of hit and run, according to local police.  His only words were “yes sir” and “no sir” to Judge Robert Downer’s questions.

The 20 year old man was remembered as a quiet student by a school principal and a fellow classmate, but a former teacher said he also espoused white-supremacist views.

“From what I remember, he was a quiet and reserved student,” Michael Wilson, principal at Randall K. Cooper High School in Union, Ky. said in an email. “Our thoughts and prayers are with those in Charlottesville, Virginia. Hatred and violence is never a viable solution to any problem. As educators, we are always using teachable moments and providing guidance to students to create college, career and life ready students to make good and sound choices.”

The Wall Street Journal reports that Mr. Fields joined the Army shortly after high school and reported to basic training in August 2015.

“He was, however, released from active duty due to a failure to meet training standards in December of 2015,” Lt. Col. Jennifer Johnson, an Army spokeswoman, said in an email. She didn’t elaborate on how he failed to meet standards.

“As a result he was never awarded a military occupational skill nor was he assigned to a unit outside of basic training,” Lt. Col. Johnson said.

Mr. Fields’s father died in a car accident while Ms. Bloom was pregnant, according to David Young, a former neighbor who said he knew Ms. Bloom and her son in Florence, Ky., when Mr. Fields was a young boy.

Fields" mother, Samantha Bloom, said that her son had told her he was going to a rally, which she thought “had something to do with Trump.”

A high school teacher said Fields was fascinated with Nazism, idolized Adolf Hitler and had been singled out by school officials in the 9th grade for his “deeply held, radical” convictions on race.

As a freshman, the student turned in an assignment to another teacher that expressed views that “the Nazis were good, their policies were good, Adolf Hitler was a great leader,” Mr. Weimer recalled in an interview. “In a nutshell, the white race is superior—that was the general thrust,” he said.

During Mr. Fields’s junior and senior years, Mr. Weimer taught him two classes, world civilization and a course on modern U.S. wars. Mr. Fields chose to study the Waffen SS—the military wing of the Nazi Party—for an in-depth research paper, Mr. Weimer said. While Mr. Fields did well on the assignment, it was “hard-core pro-German,” his former teacher said.

Mr. Weimer said Mr. Fields would often steer class discussions on topics that had nothing to do with Nazism to “pro-Hitler stuff, pro-white supremacy stuff.”

One high-school classmate wrote in a blog post Sunday that he remembered Mr. Fields as a “gentle giant” who was kind and shy when spoken to.

Mr. Weimer said he had a good rapport with Mr. Fields, who he said tried to marshal facts in support of his arguments and wasn’t combative toward him or Mr. Fields’s classmates.

“I used all these tricks to really ram home how evil and wrong the Nazis were, how we live in the greatest country,” Mr. Weimer said.

“I definitely feel like I failed.”

Secret Docs Reveal Allies Knew About Holocaust, Allowed it to Happen — For Years

Newly disclosed documents prove Allied forces in World War II were fully cognizant of the mass murders and torturous human rights violations in the Holocaust — and the full scope of those atrocities — committed by Adolf Hitler’s fascist Nazis, nearly three years before joining the fight.

“The major powers commented [on the mass murder of Jews] two-and-a-half years before it is generally assumed,” Dan Plesch, author of the newly published, Human Rights After Hitler, and Director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS, University of London, told The Independent.

For two-and-a-half years, Plesch learned, the Allies appeared to have allowed heinous crimes against humanity — the killing of millions of innocent Jewish and marginalized peoples — to be carried out at various concentration camps in nations under Nazi occupation. The Independent reports:

“Newly accessed material from the United Nations – not seen for around 70 years – shows that as early as December 1942, the US, UK and Soviet governments were aware that at least two million Jews had been murdered and a further five million were at risk of being killed, and were preparing charges. Despite this, the Allied Powers did very little to try and rescue or provide sanctuary to those in mortal danger.”

Of course, pointing this out does not mean one condones war, however, it should be known that potentially millions of lives could’ve been spared had Allied Powers simply let in refugees.

“Indeed,” the report continues, “in March 1943, Viscount Cranborne, a minister in the war cabinet of Winston Churchill, said the Jews should not be considered a special case and that the British Empire was already too full of refugees to offer a safe haven to any more.”

It wasn’t until public comment on the topic years later that the Allied forces hinted at the scope of atrocities taking place behind the barbed-wire confines of Hitler’s death camps.

“It was assumed they learned [of the mass murders] when they discovered the concentration camps, but they made this public comment in December 1942,” Plesch continued.

“The German authorities,” announced UK Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden to British Parliament at the time, “not content with denying to persons of Jewish race in all the territories over which their barbarous rule extends, the most elementary human rights, are now carrying into effect Hitler’s oft-repeated intention to exterminate the Jewish people.”

In research, the professor discovered the Allies planned to hold Hitler and the Nazis accountable for killing millions of Jews using documents smuggled outside occupied lands by networks of resistance and rebel groups. Among the documents was an indictment of Hitler for ‘war crimes dating from 1944.’

In full awareness of the horrific deaths of so many innocents, Plesch noted, the Allies never spearheaded a categorical attempt to free prisoners and shut down the notorious concentration camps, despite the voluminous body of pictures, documents, and other evidence brought forth during war crimes trials, which the major powers would have previously seen first hand.

Further, Herbert Pell, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s envoy to the United Nations War Crimes Commission (UNWCC), had been met with sharp resistance from anti-Semites in the State Department — ostensively due to concerns the nation’s involvement would impact its economic relationship with Germany after the war.

“After Mr Pell went public with the scandal, the State Department agreed to the prosecution of the Nazi leadership at Nuremberg, something that gathered pace after the highly publicised liberation of the concentration camps in the summer of 1945,” reports the Independent.

Plesch explained, “Among the reason given by the US and British policy makers for curtailing prosecutions of Nazis was the understanding that at least some of them would be needed to rebuild Germany and confront Communism, which at the time was seen as a greater danger.”

For 70 years, the UNWCC document cache had been restricted from public and research perusal — until former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Powers made the archive available.

Precisely how much Allied forces knew of the death camps and horrific abuses perpetrated by the Nazi regime more than two years before publicly commenting, and five years prior to the summer 1945 liberation, cannot, however, be gleaned from the assortment of documents in the archive.

“Notwithstanding this, it remains unclear to what extent Allied and neutral leaders understood the full import of their information,” Plesch said. “The utter shock of senior Allied commanders who liberated camps at the end of the war may indicate that this understanding was not complete.”

JFK’s Diary Reveals Stunning Admission: ‘No Complete Evidence’ Hitler’s Body Was Found

Did Adolf Hitler actually perish in a murder-suicide pact with his newlywed Eva Braun in a subterranean bunker as Germany’s nefarious Nazi regime crumbled around them?

If you aren’t convinced, you’re in good company — recently revealed documents from a personal journal make candid skepticism from a man who could arguably be termed the Führer’s polar opposite — President John F. Kennedy.

While questioning the official narrative pertaining to one of the most opprobrious tyrants in history might not be a comfortable matter, the theory has gained wide traction from a number of reputable sources and analyses in recent years — but, apparently, the beloved former president harbored qualms about the April 30, 1945 deaths.

“Hitler’s Reich Chancellery was a shell,” Kennedy penned in 1945, several years before ascending to the White House. “The walls were chipped and scarred by bullets, showing the terrific fight that took place at the time of its fall. Hitler’s air-raid shelter was about 120 feet down into the ground — well furnished but completely devastated. The room where Hitler was supposed to have met his death showed scorched walls and traces of fire. There is no complete evidence, however, that the body that was found was Hitler’s body. The Russians doubt that he is dead.”

That Kennedy and Hitler share in common entire tomes positing theories on their lives and the manner of their deaths makes the former president’s skepticism on the latter’s dubious demise an especially fitting observation.

Perhaps the more skeptical of readers find the diary entry evidence of a capricious pet theory held by a man otherwise known for rational, considered thought. But Kennedy’s words, particularly in the present context in which they’ve been disclosed, align with a growing body of academics and historians who have studied Hitler’s demise — and find exigent fault with what we’ve so long been led to believe.

After all, the United States clandestinely undertook Operation Paperclip during the aftermath of World War II.

While the world sighed with relief upon the cessation of military hostilities, United States officials — unbeknownst to their own colleagues and peers — ferreted away former Nazi party officials and scientists to various safe havens. The Free Thought Project noted previously,

“Nearly 500 Nazi scientists — particularly those specializing in aerodynamics, rocketry, chemical weapons and reaction technology, and medicine — were secreted to White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico; Huntsville, Alabama; and Texas’ Fort Bliss without the knowledge of even the State Department. As obvious security threats and war criminals, those scientists wouldn’t have qualified for visas through official channels — but the government, foregoing ethical implications in pursuit of their knowledge, indeed facilitated safe passage to the U.S.

“Though much information about what has alternately been called Project Paperclip remains classified, that Nazi scientists did receive paychecks courtesy of the U.S. government to advance national goals is admitted fact. In that context, would Hitler being given a similar VIP escape plan be that outside the realm of possibility?”

That rhetorical question laid a foundation of plausible ambiguity for historian Abel Basti, who meticulously details the hypothesis the bodies discovered in the fortified but seriously damaged bunker 120 feet below ground were emphatically not those of the Führer and his bride of just two days.

Published last summer in Argentina, in “El Exilio de Hitler,” or “Hitler in Exile,” Basti throws the long-swallowed account of murder-suicide into a tailspin, but — lest the idea an infamous figure condemned the world over managed escape with assistance from shadowy State players sound the stuff of armchair theorist — even corporate media mainstays like the Huffington Post have published articles outlining the premise of the book.

“There was an agreement with the US that Hitler would run away and that he shouldn’t fall into the hands of the Soviet Union. This also applies to many scientists, the military and spies who later took part in the struggle against the Soviet regime,” Basti writes.

A tunnel in the basement of the Chancellery linked to a proximate airport, providing the despotic leader and his wife the fastest possible escape route for the time period — a helicopter awaited to ferry the pair to Spain, where Basti says they made their way to the Canary Islands.

A U-Boat then delivered Hitler to Argentina for, all told, a ten-year stay before he proceeded to Paraguay, where he faced no difficulties living under President Alfredo Stroessner — whose father hailed from Germany’s Bavaria region — until February 3, 1971, when Basti believes he finally died.

“Wealthy families who helped him over the years were responsible for the organisation of his funeral,” writes Basti. “Hitler was buried in an underground bunker, which is now an elegant hotel in the city of Asuncion. In 1973, the entrance to the bunker was sealed and 40 people came to say goodbye to Hitler. One of those who attended, Brazilian serviceman Fernando Nogueira de Araujo, then told a newspaper about the ceremony.”

And if that information feels untenable coming from an independent authority — irrespective of the depth of research and scrutiny — perhaps documents from a more traditional source can lend it credence.

Documents released by the FBI describe in greater detail a similar flight to freedom by Hitler, as recounted by an unnamed witness who putatively assisted in the effort for the tidy sum of $15,000, but admitted involvement under the weight of heavy conscience.

One nagging disparity in the approved account of Hitler’s demise is that his body was never actually recovered from the scene — though some versions say severe charring made identification impossible, while others claim the lifeless newlyweds’ bodies were burned with others en masse in an outdoor pit.

In fact, that Hitler perished by gunshot to the head, and Braun by cyanide pill, appears to have come from one man who asserted to have witnessed what happened — meaning, the official account has for over six decades hinged on the arbitrary claims of a single person, rather than exhaustive investigation.

JFK’s diary obviates the studied skepticism and diplomatic rhetoric of someone either privy to further information than apparent, or one who examined what happened and perhaps felt it untenable enough to seek more.

Until DNA evidence proves unassailably the Nazi leader spent time in South America after his reported death, theories contradicting the long-accepted murder-suicide story will be viewed by many as far-flung.

“He had boundless ambition for his country which rendered him a menace to the peace of the world,” Kennedy keenly opined on the autocrat’s particular perversion of nationalism, “but he had a mystery about him in the way that he lived and in the manner of his death that will live and grow after him.”

Contemplating Hitler’s astronomical popularity — and the woefully misbegotten goals such charisma tacitly permitted — the future president lamented privately the Nazi leader’s mysterious life,

“He had in him the stuff of which legends are made.”

That Donald Trump managed to win the election has incensed some, delighted others, and has spawned comparisons to Adolf Hitler.

And while the latter suggestion previously drew scorn and caused eyes to roll — as if Godwin’s law that arguments online inevitably devolve into someone accusing someone else of being a Nazi — a World War II survivor has come forward with a warning the similarities shouldn’t be blithely dismissed.

It is also important to note that this path to despotism was paved by the likes of George Bush and Barack Obama. Between the two of them and their attacks on the constitution, they left a virtual dictatorship up for grabs that would have been assumed and abused by Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump.

NV, an 88-year-old woman who experienced the horrors of Nazi rule, believes Trump summons the specter of the fascist dictator far too clearly for the resemblance to be ignored as hyperbole.

One day in 1940, NV’s life in Antwerp, Belgium, changed forever:

“In early 1940 my mother, grandmother and I lived across the street from an army barracks. In the early morning of May the 10th, we were woken up by the sounds of sirens, heavy artillery, and explosions. We quickly went to the cellar to hide and waited until the bombing had subsided. When we left the house, an unexploded bomb was laying below our living room window.

“When we rounded the corner the most horrible scene presented itself: Almost four complete city blocks had been destroyed, body parts were scattered all over. One scene I will never forget is when I managed to get to where my favorite candy store used to be, there was a severed leg stuck against a remaining wall.”

Often, the passage of time, like water, smooths collective memory to the point atrocities become less tangible — or appear so egregious, we foolishly surmise ‘that could never happen again.’

But history proves otherwise, and that ‘it’ — fascism spawned from failed attempts at loosely democratic systems — can, indeed, happen again is precisely why NV chose to bring her experience to light.

While Trump isn’t literally Hitler, as some people oddly insist, the president keeps company with rumored white nationalists, imposed a suffocating ban on refugees and restrictions on travel, and rearranged his National Security Council in an astonishing manner — downgrading the status of the Director of National Intelligence and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — reminiscent of a fascistic power play.

Considering the United States has yet to experience severely concentrated power of the Hitler or Mussolini variety, drastic changes in policy and procedure are viewed by many without the lens of future abuse — but that could be a critical error.

NV, who is Jewish, recalled struggling simply to live under the punishing thumb of Nazi rule:

“We sometimes stood in lines all night just to get a loaf of bread that was made with something other than flour. It was black, looked like uncooked dough, smelled bad, and grew mold within a few hours. We didn’t get sugar, we got saccharine to sweeten; there was no coffee, instead we got some kind of roasted grain the Germans called Kneipp; we didn’t get milk or butter, we got some type of margarine that came with a coloring capsule that had to be kneaded into the margarine to give it color. I went hungry, I was always starving. Once in a while we would get some figs at school or bananas which I would save and take home to share with my mother and grandmother, sometimes I was too hungry and ate them on the way home from school.”

As the Nazi leader rose to power with all the ‘charm’ of a megalomaniac, NV recalled, “we heard Hitler speak on the radio, we also saw him in newsreels before the movies.  I can remember seeing him rant and rave, his face becoming contorted with rage.”

NV, who literally endured life under Hitler, asserted,

“Donald Trump emulates Hitler to a T.  His actions, speeches and ranting remind me exactly of Hitler. I am afraid that if he is not stopped, he will lead this country into another world war.”

Indeed, Trump’s bluster and belligerence in addressing China led Beijing to prepare for military action under threat of a possible trade war with the U.S. Even more telling, U.S. officials will assess the ‘survivability’ of the governments of China and Russia in the event of a nuclear war — starkly suggestive the potential for world war to turn catastrophic isn’t an outside possibility.

“Unfortunately,” NV continued, “this war will not be waged with conventional weapons, and very few people will survive. And if they do, there will be nothing left to be worth living for!!”

Warnings of the similarities between Trump and Hitler could be facilely rejected when coming from the mouths of millennials — but for a survivor of World War II to sound this alarm holds infinite weight.

It might behoove Americans to consider the admonition and not be led like mice by a seemingly charismatic pied piper straight into nuclear war.

Germany Sees "Overwhelming" Surge In Sales Of Hitler's Mein Kampf

After a 70-year ban, Adolf Hitler"s Nazi manifesto Mein Kampf was made available again in Germany in 2016, and as The BBC reports, the German publisher of a special annotated edition of the anti-semitic text says sales have soared since its launch a year ago.

As The BBC reports, about 85,000 German-language copies of the anti-Semitic Nazi manifesto have been sold.

Publisher Andreas Wirsching said "the figures overwhelmed us".

He is director of the Institute of Contemporary History (IfZ) in Munich.

At the end of January the IfZ will launch a sixth print run. The book contains critical notes by scholars.

Unlike the Nazi-era editions, the IfZ"s Mein Kampf (My Struggle) has a plain white cover - without a picture of Hitler. The swastika and other Nazi symbols are banned in Germany.

Mr Wirsching told the German news agency DPA that the IfZ was planning a shorter, French-language edition. "But two-thirds of our commentaries will be translated" for it, he said.

He said the IfZ had obtained solid legal advice before republishing the book on a limited scale. And the scholarly edition was aimed partly at pre-empting any editions put out by Nazi sympathisers.

"It would be irresponsible to just let this text spread arbitrarily," he told DPA.

But, as Mike Krieger noted previously, sales of Hitler"s manifesto have been soaring worldwide for the last few years. At this point, we’d like to remain hopeful that these sales trends spring from a similar curiosity on behalf of the population, rather than from a darker more hateful place. From Time:

While the book’s print copy sales remain stagnant, the ebook is in the top 20 on iTunes’s Politics & Events chart, next to books by Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, the number one Propaganda & Political Psychology book on Amazon, and the 17th bestseller in the company’s Nationalism list. How could that be?

Chris Faraone explains why in a fascinating essaythat argues ebooks provide the perfect format for reading controversial material. “Mein Kampf could be following a similar trend to that of smut and romance novels,” Faraone writes. Customers may have not wanted to be seen reading the book or having it on their shelf at home, but the cheap digital copies “can be quietly perused then dropped into a folder or deleted.”

Ebook reviewers’ comments support the 50 Shades of Grey theory. “I think I waited 45 years to read Hitler’s words… I wish I had read it sooner,” wrote Steven Wagg. “Curiosity killed me to get this book,” said another reviewer. The document also functions as a warning: “People need to understand that if we do not learn from people like this, then we will fall into their traps again,” Ray D’Aguanno wrote on Amazon.

It’s Worse than You Think — America, Here’s Why It is Time to Start Paying Attention

A confluence of negative repercussions from decades of absurd errors we should have known better than to make is now upon us, and it appears — in electing, or tacitly allowing the election of, Donald Trump — fascism will be our ‘reward.’

Enough with finger-pointing, too, because who got us into this mess matters little when examining the rather dismal specter of past totalitarianism presently rearing its citrus complected, moppish head. And the humor in this farcical chain of events is being fast supplanted by horrific portents in brazenly xenophobic attacks committed by Trump’s misguided flock — from the nascent moments following the announcement of his presumed victory.

That said, the election to president of a reality TV host smacked bewildered Hillary Clinton supporters and anti-fascists with the flat hand of alarm — and now both groups seem to hold lighters to the fuse of civil war.

America, this will not end well — at least, not without our intervention.

Thanks to over a decade of self-congratulatory Big Government, the outgoing president is forking over unprecedented powers of executive control — as well as the perilous potential for grave abuse independent media and academia Cassandras have been shrieking about for some time.

Like Cassandra, those somber admonitions went unheeded as so much tin-foiled garbage — and, yet, iterations of a quick devolution into chaos mark precisely where we are, just four days post-election.

The heedless disappearing of the country’s manufacturing jobs and expanding slave-wage workforce under the Obama administration alienated vast swaths of the populace — lower income families of every race. Trump’s capitalizing on growing racial and religious tension made him a convenient poster child for the disenfranchisement of a so-called White America — racism, latently harbored for decades, finds facile footing when wide economic disparity has no single, precise cause.

Corporatism, however, so engulfs every facet of government as to be indistinguishable, and — that the monster of neoliberal corporate plutocracy has not been restrained in growth — many Americans saw abandoning this system as the only conceivable course, consequences be damned.

Thus, this sinking ship of empire will slip under with a billionaire megalomaniac — having zero qualifications — at the helm. Perhaps it’s ultimately for the best, but to be sure, this will not be a smooth transition for the traditionally-bellicose, outward reaching nation as domestic unrest could easily spiral into widescale violence.

Further, the untenable but growing prospect of fascism’s sprouting seeds cannot be ignored.

“It is very similar to late Weimar Germany,” Noam Chomsky told Chris Hedges a full six years ago, long before the elections jarred the observation into imperative perspective. “The parallels are striking. There was also tremendous disillusionment with the parliamentary system. The most striking fact about Weimar was not that the Nazis managed to destroy the Social Democrats and the Communists, but that the traditional parties, the Conservative and Liberal parties, were hated and disappeared. It left a vacuum which the Nazis very cleverly and intelligently managed to take over.”

However, in his comparison, Chomsky seemed to foretell precisely where the country actively charted its course, noting, “The United States is extremely lucky that no honest, charismatic figure has arisen.

“Every charismatic figure is such an obvious crook that he destroys himself, like [Joseph] McCarthy or [Richard] Nixon or the evangelist preachers,” he continued. “If somebody comes along who is charismatic and honest, this country is in real trouble because of the frustration, disillusionment, the justified anger and the absence of any coherent response. What are people supposed to think if someone says ‘I have got an answer: We have an enemy’? There it was the Jews. Here it will be the illegal immigrants and the blacks. We will be told that white males are a persecuted minority. We will be told we have to defend ourselves and the honor of the nation. Military force will be exalted. People will be beaten up. This could become an overwhelming force. And if it happens, it will be more dangerous than Germany. The United States is the world power. Germany was powerful but had more powerful antagonists. I don’t think all this is very far away. If the polls are accurate, it is not the Republicans but the right-wing Republicans, the crazed Republicans, who will sweep the next election.”

It isn’t difficult to summon the obvious likeness to Donald Trump and the cult of personality doggedly determined he constitutes a golden god to save America from the perils of globalism — and the putative dangers presented by anyone daring to not be white, patriotic, nationalist, and Christian.

True to form, perhaps, as Trump began rising in the polls this election cycle, seemingly paranoid collations between the demagogue and Adolf Hitler became so commonplace as to comprise the stuff of jokes — dismissively downplaying the keen accuracy in the Cassandra-like prophecy. This isn’t to say Hillary Clinton didn’t present alarming possibilities in her own right, just that — domestically speaking — a Trump presidency proffers particular perils which should not be devalued.

“The rot of our failed democracy vomited up a con artist who was a creation of the mass media,” Hedges writes, “first playing a fictional master of the universe on a reality television show and later a politician as vaudevillian. Trump pulled in advertising dollars and ratings. Truth and reality were irrelevant. Only when he got the nomination did the mass media see their Frankenstein as a threat, but by then it was too late. If there is one vapid group that is hated even more than the liberal class, it is the corporate press. The more it attacked Trump, the better Trump looked.”

Charisma has a time-honored niche as place-filler in the shambles of failed states. This is, after all, how despots garner incredible power — it isn’t robbed from us in broad daylight, that power is willingly handed over by a desperate population looking for its savior.

To wit, the greatest danger with Trump exists in his blindly devoted following — who either have or have not misinterpreted xenophobic overtones — the president-elect will have the tools of a despot’s mad fantasy at his disposal in January.

Consider the criminal lack of foresight of the Bush and Obama administrations in expanding State control over civilians, from the indefinite detention clause of the NDAA to the increasingly sophisticated surveillance state; the placement of a standing army through a now-militarized police force, to the criminalization of dissent. If he were to exercise the power of the executive in the same manner Obama has throughout his eight-year tenure, Trump’s executive orders would curtail even more severely our remaining precious liberties.

Further still, the real estate mogul’s astonishing penchant to feed from the unhinged furies of his supporters evidences terrifying consequences for minorities, journalists, and anyone harboring contrary political ideologies.

This is not meant to be alarmist in nature, only informative to direct all of us to remember historical cycles of empire — and that, so far, the United States and its citizenry might as well be reading from a script.

Continuing down this precarious path unaware the world has been here countless times before would be akin to enabling cruise control and falling asleep at the wheel. It’s dangerous. It’s inadvisable. And it’s going to happen unless cooler heads prevail and cognize that this fight shouldn’t be between us — but instead should focus on our shared battle against a potentially treacherous future.

No, Donald Trump isn’t Hitler — but donning blinders to the similarities is a most criminal foolishness, indeed.
