The Wait is Over for Unreleased JFK Documents

The Wait is Over for Unreleased JFK Documents | donald-trump-jfk-files | Special Interests US News

By George Cassidy Payne |

I am afraid, based on my own experience, that fascism will come to America in the name of National Security.  – Jim Garrison

Something inside told me that I should, after a decade or so of looking into the JFK assassination, finally go out to my favorite used book store and grab a copy of Jim Garrison’s book, On The Trail of the Assassins. In this remarkable firsthand account, the fabled District Attorney of New Orleans uncovers how he and his young, ambitious prosecution team went about investigating the JFK assassination when most of the country could care less about a conspiracy. Their weapons of choice: the Constitution of the United States and good old fashion detective work. Among some of the more groundbreaking truths detailed in his shocking chronology of their investigation include Garrison’s finding that “Lee Harvey Oswald was a C.I.A. recruit-an agent provocateur-who soon became their “patsy,” how Kennedy’s motorcade route was changed the morning of the assassination to pass the Texas School Book Depository where Oswald had been working for over a month, the fact that Jack Ruby had reputed ties to both the F.B.I. and the mob, and how before its release to the Warren Commission, the F.B.I. reversed two crucial frames of the Zapruder film to create the false impression that a fatal shot to Kennedy’s head had been fired from behind.” (Warner Books, 1988)

Not surprisingly, these same agencies persuaded President Trump-back in October 2017- to hold off from releasing every last JFK document in the archives until a further review could be conducted. Under pressure from Mike Pompeo and others, the president opted to go back on his word and feebly provide these intelligence agencies six more months (after 55 years) to stall, whitewash, and prep for fallout. So here we are. The wait is over. It’s been six months.

Back to Garrison for a moment. He was a national hero who was smeared, physically threatened, vilified in the press, and ultimately railroaded by the most powerful forces within the United States government.  This book should be seen by every American schoolkid and adult as a patriotic, triumphant act of legal justice and fearless journalism. When I think about Garrison, I think about the countless researchers, writers, witnesses, and documentary filmmakers who have sacrificed time, money, and personal safety to reveal the facts of Nov 22, 1963. I think of what Garrison stands for today and what he fought for then. The time is now. The wait is over. Like so many others, he sacrificed too much for his memory to be disgraced by endless moral inaction. So here we are. The time is now. The country has been waiting since 1963. I recently learned that some FOIA requests have brought out spreadsheets with lists of over 23,000 undisclosed files. Let’s have them now. The wait is over.

There will always be reasons not to do it. Stormy Daniels, the Mueller investigation, North Korea peace talks, chemical weapons in Syria, and the midterms election are all trending. But there will always be international and domestic crises to handle. There will always be reasons not to bother with the JFK death event. In the last 55 years a man walked on the moon, Viet Nam and Watergate dominated the headlines, the Berlin Wall came down, Apartheid in South Africa stopped, Y2K, 9/11, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the rise of social media and the internet all transpired while these documents remained hidden from the eyes of the American people. There will never be a more or less hectic time to release the documents than now. President Trump will never be less or more vulnerable than he is right now. The time for excuses, dodges, and tricks is over. The time is now. The wait is over.

In the words of George Washington, “Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light.”

God only knows the pains to bring the truth of JFK’s murder to light. Lives have been transformed and tarnished. People have been murdered. Entire organizations have compromised their most sacred values. The time is now. The wait is over.

Significance of the JFK Assassination (VIDEO)

Significance of the JFK Assassination (VIDEO) | JFK-Assassination | Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

For those who were of age and alive at the time of the Dallas killing, a fresh memory of the times and era are integral to their assessment. Those who were born later, have no firsthand experience of the actual change that took place to the body politics. Comparing before and after is mostly forgotten by the history accounts. For those who remember, the country started on a downward spiral that continues to the present. The assassination of John F. Kennedy was a political coup d’état and has been described as an enigma with many layers of disinformation. However, peeling back this onion exposes a rot that very much explains the current condition of our country.

Significance of the JFK Assassination (VIDEO) | Bush-as-JFK-coordinator | Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

When raising the subject of a conspiracy, it is both amusing and tragic that establishment defenders are quick to discredit the investigator, while avoiding facts, evidence and common sense. Solving the mystery to the satisfaction of competing and often conflicting factions is not necessary. However, understanding the course of events that took hold after the Camelot myth was buried is intensely valuable. The end of innocence became an existential awakening to the perceptive, while believing the conclusions of the Warren commission provided reassurance for not facing reality.

Why did powerful elites fear Kennedy? The Entire John F. Kennedy Secret Society Speech provides the motive behind the mask of the media filter.

From this “President and the Press” Speech (April 27, 1961)

“The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.”

Remember that most famous of all winks at the LBJ swearing in? Look to None Dare Call It Conspiracy!, and put the pieces of the puzzle in place.

Significance of the JFK Assassination (VIDEO) | the-wink-jfk | Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

“The significance of the Stone film, JFK, is demonstrated by the assault that the established order heaped upon his portrayal. Believe it or reject it, but investigate the questions that have never been answered. If logic has meaning, have Arlene Spector explain that magic bullet again. That ‘Man X’ was real – his name, colonel Fletcher Prouty, a true ‘black bag’ magician.”

Lyndon B. Johnson initiated the Reign on Terror that continues to this day. His involvement into the plot is supported in the new book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ by Roger Stone with Mike Colapietro.

“The notable individuals that knew and said Johnson was involved in murderous acts is also well-documented… they include Oswald murderer Jack Ruby, Dexter Scott King, son of Dr. Martin Luther King, as well as LBJ associate Billy Sol Estes, LBJ mistress Madeleine Brown, Texas Governor Allan Shivers, renowned Texas Ranger Clint Peoples, CIA asset E. Howard Hunt and US Senator and 1964 Republican nominee for President Barry Goldwater. The KGB, fearing that they or their puppet state Cuba would be falsely blamed conducted their own investigation and concluded LBJ killed JFK at the same to time French Intelligence would tell Jackie Kennedy LBJ murdered her husband.”

If this is just too much to accept, look at the “Skull and Bones” operative, who just happened to be a Texas Oilman. Similarly, he was Vice President at the time of an assassination attempt that almost was successful. Sure, such a coincidence should be fodder for an Oliver Stone sequel – Reagan.

Now consider the CIA component in the “Big Event”. Did George H.W. Bush Coordinate a JFK Hit Team?

“Next, George Bush can be seen in photos of Dealey Plaza, next to the TSBD doorway and Ed Lansdale, shortly following the assassination (see below). These photos, unmistakably George Bush, tell us where he went after he left the Dallas Sheriff’s Office: back to the crime scene to get an update on all that he had missed. He must have made his call to the FBI reporting James Parrot from the Dallas Sheriff’s Office, at 1:45 PM, because Bush is seen in Dealey Plaza with Lansdale, who would leave the plaza at about 2 PM and walk past “the three tramps” toward the parking lot. Bush obviously had to go straight back to Dealey Plaza for him to be photographed with Lansdale, who remained around Dealey Plaza until Oswald was arrested at the Texas Theater at 1:50 PM.”

Edgar Hoover’s FBI was up to his ears in the investigation. He certainly was no friend of the Kennedy’s. Therefore, when eyewitness testimonyfrom scores of witnesses was ignored or discarded by the Bureau, no one should be surprised that the final report will be suspect. The Mary Ferrell Foundationsite furnishes the following:

“The Church Committee in the 1970s analyzed the CIA’s role in supporting the Warren Commission, and found it lacking. The Committee “developed evidence which impeaches the process by which the intelligence agencies [CIA and FBI] arrived at their own conclusions about the assassination, and by which they provided information to the Warren Commission.

“Now watch the video from Jim Marrs & St. John Hunt – E. Howard Hunt Deathbed Confession JFK Assassination. A dying admission once held legal merit. But in this disinformation world of government scripted deflection, the public needs to be kept in tranquil ignorance. The Daily Paul site provided additional information.

“One of most explosive under-reported stories of the last 50 years is the deathbed confession of E. Howard Hunt, who was personal assistant to Allen Dulles, head of the CIA at the time, to knowledge that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone and that he, Hunt, had been personally involved in the assassination. Hunt said in his written confession that the assassination was code-named “the Big Event.”

Whatever determination you maintain on the actual circumstances, the results from JFK’s elimination are dramatic. Five Fiendish Ways the Kennedy Assassination Warped Our World list is an effective analysis.

  1. LBJ Unleashed – Johnson’s profligate Great Society spending strategies, which took the New Deal and accelerated it into hyper-drive.

  1. Vietnam – in October of 1963, Kennedy issued National Security Action Memorandum (NSAM) 263, which detailed his plan to withdraw U.S. advisers from Vietnam while gradually scaling back our involvement in Southeast Asia. But within four days of the assassination, Lyndon Johnson had already signed and submitted NSAM 273, which reversed course and basically pledged to stand by the government in South Vietnam come hell or high water.

  1. The Federal Reserve Survives – In June of 1963, Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110, which authorized the U.S. Treasury to issue certificates backed by silver as an alternative form of money to Federal Reserve notes. But when President Kennedy was killed, LBJ suspended this program immediately, and the Federal Reserve’s control over the U.S. economy has never once been challenged since.

  1. The CIA and Our Culture of Secrecy – Kennedy’s statement to “splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind”, his death allowed the CIA to continue and preserve its culture of secrecy.

  1. Mainstream Nonsense and the Mainstream Media – The vast majority of the Fourth Estate took the path of least resistance, and the idea of an independent media that would fearlessly search for the truth no matter where it led died a painful and difficult death.

So what is the significance of the JFK Assassination? In an interview, Roger Stone answers the question: How did JFK’s death affect society, people’s minds? Is the impact still present in your opinion?

“I think it certainly changed our policy very dramatically – I think we moved it back into the Cold War. After the death of John F. Kennedy the important conversations between the Russian State and the United States were damaged. We know, because it was historically recorded that Nikita Khrushchev wept, when he heard of the death of Kennedy. There was an American journalist who was with Fidel Castro, when he was distraught what he learned: he said over and over again “this is very bad, this is very bad”… I think we were engaged – we were beginning to engage in some fruitful conversations in terms of easing the tensions between our countries and I think there were those in the Pentagon, those in the US military, those in our US-based intelligent services who were very unhappy about that direction. I think it is a major factor – not the factor, – but a major factor in getting John F. Kennedy killed.”

It is the contention of this “Reign of Terror” series to provide accounts and evidence that the nation has endured under a shadow government of ruling elites; especially, since the elimination of a President, who dared challenge the interests of the true masters of the establishment.

The deplorable circumstance of a society, so ignorant to make distinctions, of real history from invented official fairy tales, explains largely why Americans are in serial denial. The article JFK retrospectives adnauseam, makes this point.

“People never learn. After the sanctioned assassination, healing the country provided the necessary cover to implement the goals of the coup. Most of the evidence that explains the background that led up to the removal of Kennedy fails to address the breakdown of the entire historic underpinning of the nation, since WWII. The seeds of the Great Society were sown in the idiocy of being dragged into that global contrived conflict. Those who should know best, since they lived during that era, often deny their own blind faith in a misguided allegiance to a central government.”

Significance of the JFK Assassination (VIDEO) | jfk | Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

As for the population that never knew or heard actual accounts of this age, “so called” news reporting usually sugar coats or distorts the facts, ignorance really is not bliss. Today’s electronic media is a hodgepodge of government talking points or press releases.

The constant drumbeat to blame Lee Harvey Oswald solely for the Kennedy assassination intends to make patsies of the American people. The greater fool theory works in elections. Reflecting the goals of the “Great Society” means, that acceptance of government authoritarianism became easier.

Deconstructing the JFK Myth offers this distinction. “Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” The invocation needed to read: “Ask not what you can do for your country — Ask what we can do together to insure individual Liberty”

Propagandists of the ilk of Sargeant Shriver and Arthur Schlesinger Jr., designed a legend that defied factual references”, but the martyrdom of a slain President misses the point. John Kennedy was not a saint, but was an obstacle. What better message to future aspirant reformers that a magic bullet awaits their demise.

Few institutional government critics were known for rocking the boat, especially when Kennedy’s “a rising tide lifts all boats”might upset his elitist executioners. The system is much bigger than any individual. Bucking the sub-rosa interests that seek greater concentrated control can be deadly. America was condemned to a Reign of Terror on November 22, 1963.

Newly Released CIA Memo Suggests Foreknowledge of the JFK Assassination

Newly Released CIA Memo Suggests Foreknowledge of the JFK Assassination | jfk_files | CIA Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

By: George Cassidy Payne |

Despite shell shocking disclosures about false flag operations in Cuba, Oswald’s career as an intelligence agent, Hoover’s hair trigger efforts to corrupt a professional criminal investigation, mob ties to the CIA, and much more than that, the mainstream media has decided that the newly released JFK assassination files do not reveal anything controversial.

Instead of a honest historical and political appraisal of these documents, we get classic whitewashing and shameless disinformation- statements like this one by one of our nations most esteemed publications:

“The documents that were released show federal agents madly chasing after tips, however thin, in the days after the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination and juggling rumors and leads worldwide.”

Is that so?

Putting that kind of silliness aside, if the American intelligence community intended to suppress any file that would appear as a smoking gun to JFK assassination researchers, they made a huge blunder when they released a memo from the CIA to FBI that says a senior reporter at Cambridge Evening News was told to call the American embassy for some “big news” about twenty-five minutes before John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The memo, dated Nov. 26, 1963, says: “After the word of the President’s death was received the reporter informed the Cambridge police of the anonymous call, and the police informed MI5. The important point is that the call was made, according to MI5 calculations, about 25 minutes before the president was shot.”

In fact, a copy of the memo was released by the National Archives in the U.S. in July, but had gone essentially unreported. It may have never made the news if not for the hoopla surrounding Trump’s partial release of the JFK files-documents promised to the American people when President Bill Clinton authorized the JFK Records Act in 1992. The memo was discovered by a lawyer, Michael Eddowes, who devoted much of his life searching for the truth behind Kennedy’s murder. Eddowes, who died in 1992, believed that the anonymous caller was a British-born Soviet agent named Albert Osborne. According to Eddowes theory, the Soviet Union wanted the American leaders and populace to view the assassination as a conspiracy. In the same USA Today article, Enddowes is said to have identified this spy by the alias of John Howard Bowen, a man who knew Lee Harvey Oswald on a personal basis.

As intriguing as this speculation may be, what is indisputable is that whoever placed the call knew what they were doing and had their own reasons for making the call. Evidently, this brazen and extremely suspicious act seized the attention of very powerful individuals in Washington. The memo itself was from none other than the CIA’s legendary counterintelligence guru James Angleton. It was written to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and was dated four days after the president’s death. The memo also cryptically states that “similar anonymous phone calls of a strangely coincidental nature have been received by persons in the UK over the past year.”

Given the seriousness Angleton and Hoover saw in this, is it too simpleminded to ask why this memo was kept under wraps for 54 years? If it was a routine analysis about an oddly timed phone call to a small and irrelevant newspaper in Britain, then just release this information to the public during the Warren Commission. What has changed after five decades of concealment to make this document less of a national security risk than it was in 1963? Could it be that this document is still dangerous today for the same reasons that it was back then? The memo indicates foreknowledge of the assassination. “I have no choice,” Trump said, citing “potentially irreversible harm” to national security if he were to allow all records to come out now.

That poorly timed call to the Cambridge station on Friday, November 22, 1963, forced Angleton to write a memo to Hoover because he saw the call as a potential smoking gun that could have undermined the cover up. How did the person who made the call know about this “big event” ahead of time? If Oswald was the only person who knew that he was going to kill the president that day, why do we have this call coming in 25 minutes before the event happened? It was 12:15pm in Dallas when the call arrived in Cambridge at 6:15 pm. Kennedy was killed at 12:30 pm and the call arrived in the UK at 6:30 pm. If it wasn’t a foreign spy, could it have been a highly trained individual who was a bit too careless? Like so much of the mystery hovering over this tragedy, we may never know the facts of what happened.

That being said, I am not surprised that this memo was kept hidden for so long. It is more surprising that the intelligence community would allow it to get out now.

*Recall Jane Standley’s live report on BBC Worldnews when she started reporting that 7 World Trade Center had collapsed about 23 minutes before the building came down? As video of the news network’s live broadcast on September 11 reached the world, the skyscraper (also known as the Salomon Brothers Building) was still standing and clearly visible over the shoulder of the reporter. Considering that this building was not hit by a plane that day- and that no skyscraper in history has collapsed in free fall due to structural fires- the government’s explanation has always been physically impossible. Since 2001, thousands of architects and engineers across the world have declared that Building

7 was most likely brought down by a controlled demolition.

The question lingers: Why did a news reporter announce the fall of a 47 story skyscraper, 23 minutes before it actually came down?

New JFK Files Inadvertently Reveal Smoking Gun

New JFK Files Inadvertently Reveal Smoking Gun | jfk_files | CIA Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News

By George Cassidy Payne |

If the American intelligence community intended to suppress any file that would appear as a smoking gun to JFK assassination researchers, they made a blunder when they released a curious memo from the CIA to FBI that says a senior reporter at Cambridge Evening News was told to call the American embassy for some “big news.” The call was placed anonymously and came 25 minutes before the murder of JFK. Apparently the memo regarding this call came from CIA Director of Plans, Richard Helms, and was presumably sent directly to J. Edgar Hoover. The British Secret Service, or MI-5, had determined that the tip was made.

Why was this document kept secret for 54 years? If it was a routine memo about an oddly timed phone call, then just release it to the public during the Warren Commission. What has changed to make this document less of a national security risk? The answer: nothing.

Could it be that the document is dangerous to the CIA and FBI because it establishes foreknowledge of the assassination? Who made the call?

This story sounds familiar. Remember Jane Standley’s live report on BBC Worldnews when she started reporting that 7 World Trade Center had collapsed about 23 minutes before the building actually came down? As video of the news network ‘s live broadcast on September 11 reached the world, the skyscraper (also known as the Salomon Brothers Building) was still standing and clearly visible over the shoulder of the reporter.

Considering that this building was not hit by any plane, the government’s explanation that it collapsed due to structural damage is implausible. Since 2001, thousands of architects and engineers across the world have said that it was unquestionably brought down by a controlled demolition.

Why did a news reporter announce the fall of a 47 story skyscraper 23 minutes before it actually came down? To this day, WTC Building 7 has never received an adequate explanation, and this mishap turned out to be one of the most glaring blunders made by the conspirators.

As for the bizarre call to the Cambridge station on Friday, November 22, 1963, it is clear in hindsight that the reason Helms wrote the memo to Hoover-and the reason it has been classified ever since then-is because it was a smoking gun that could have undermined the entire cover up. It certainly would have raised many eyebrows and placed a significant stumbling block in front of the lone gunman theorists. Again, who made the call? How did they know about this “big event” ahead of time? If Oswald was the only person who knew that he was going to kill the president that day, why do we have this call coming in 25 minutes before the event happened?

Frankly speaking, I am not surprised that the memo was kept sealed for so long. It is more of a surprise that the CIA and FBI would allow it to get out now.

JFK Files Reveal Bobby Kennedy And CIA Plotted False Flag War With USSR

False flag conspiracy theories have arisen from thousands of global tragedies ever since pirates allegedly spawned the term by flying the flag of the home country they were preparing to attack.  Of course, these "conspiracy theories" would be far easier to discredit if they"d stop coming true...

Alas, a recently revealed document from the so-called "JFK Files" will only serve to stoke the flames of conspiracy theorists as it very clearly confirms a plot crafted by then Attorney General Robert Kennedy and the CIA to carry out a false attack that could be pinned on the USSR and serve as a basis for a U.S. "counterattack".

According to a formerly "Top Secret" document summarizing a meeting from March 22, 1962, officials from JFK administration secretly strategized on the best way to "manufacture or acquire Soviet aircraft," including a MIG 17 or MIG 19.  Per the following except, plans ranged from building aircraft that could stand up "distant observation" or "close observation" and ranged in cost from $3.5 million to $22 million.

So what were these replica planes to be used for?  Well, it turns out those details were laid out with some level of specificity as well...that is, if you can get beyond the brilliant efforts at redaction in the excerpt below...

"There is a possibility that such aircraft could be used in a deception operation designed to confuse enemy planes in the air, to launch a surprise attack against enemy installation or in a provocation operation in which Soviet aircraft would appear to attack U.S. or friendly installations in order to provide an excuse for U.S. intervention. If the planes were to be used in such covert operations, it would seem preferable to manufacture them in the United States."

According to the Daily Caller, the meeting was held by the “Special Group (Augmented),” which according to an encyclopedia on the Central Intelligence Agency, included Attorney General Robert Kennedy, CIA Director John McCone, National Security Advisor McGeorge Bundy and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Lemnitzer. And while not members, President Kennedy and Secretary of State Dean Rusk were said to attend certain meetings as well.

Perhaps it"s time to once again reassess what you "think" you know...

With that, here is the full document:

Bob Wilson’s JFK Research

Bob Wilson

Submitted by Researcher Chris Gallop, owner/operator of JFK-The Continuing Inquiry.

How did you get started in JFK research, and who were your mentors?

My journey into the JFK research started when I was in high school in 1988, in Cleburne Texas. I had to write a senior research paper. This was a requirement to graduate. I decided to write mine on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. My aunt, who lived in Cleburne as well, suggested that I look up J. Gary Shaw in the phone book. Gary had an architectural business in Cleburne at the time. I called him up and told him who I was and what I needed, he said come on down. So, I did, we talked, and he asked me a simple question, “Are you in this for just a grade or for the truth?” I failed my research paper by the way.  I credit Gary Shaw for mentoring me and making me the researcher I am today.

Aside from JFK research, would you please tell us a bit about your background?

I have been a paramedic for almost 30 years, absolutely love my job and helping people in their time of need. I am married to my beautiful wife Sharon Carman-Gallop, we have been married for 3 years. We have 8, yes 8, fur babies. My wife and I coach a special needs baseball team for The Miracle League DFW. We live in Burleson Texas, which is just north of Cleburne.

Who were some of the early researchers that you came to know in your work?

Well aside from Gary Shaw, I had the opportunity to meet several 1st generation researchers such as: Penn Jones Jr. Mary Ferrell, Larry Howard, Larry Harris, Harold Weisberg, Josiah “Tink” Thompson, Bernard “Bud” Fensterwald Jr., Robert Cutler, Jim Marrs, Dr. Cyril Wecht, M.D, J.D, Robert Groden. I could name more but these are the ones who greatly influenced my passion and desire for the truth. I am truly blessed and lucky to have learned from such great and talented researchers.

What did you learn regarding the JFK case from these people?

I learned a lot from each of them. The things that stand out are:

From Penn Jones Jr. I learned to pick one aspect of the case and research the hell out of it.

From Mary Ferrell I learned never be afraid to talk to or help anyone.

And from Gary Shaw I have learned that everyone has a story, and always listen more, talk less, and keep on point. Treat people with respect and dignity.

What is your connection to JFK Lancer, and can you describe what it is that Lancer basically does?

My association with JFK Lancer is one of research, interviewing witnesses, and helping with the Conference as well as the publishing side. I’ve been with JFK Lancer for 5 years.

JFK Lancer is named for JFK’s Secret Service code name. The mission of JFK Lancer is to make available all related JFK documents, photographs, films, and related material regarding the assassination to the public and the research community.

What would you consider some of the better works to read for someone looking into the JFK assassination, or documentaries to view?

My top 5 books are:

  1. Cover Up- J. Gary Shaw and Larry Harris, not just because he is my mentor and friend, but because even today the book is very relevant and easy to read for the beginner as well as the seasoned researcher.

  2. JFK and the Unspeakable- Jim Douglass. This is probably the best book that has come out since the 40th anniversary of the assassination.

  3. Crossfire- Jim Marrs. This was the book that Oliver Stone used for the movie JFK,

  4. Conspiracy of Silence- Dr. Charles Crenshaw. This is a firsthand account of the events that took place in Parkland hospital the weekend of November 22, 1963

  5. Rush to Judgement- Mark Lane. This was the book that started it all for so many researchers.

Also, any books by:

John Newman

Dr. Walt Brown

Penn Jones Jr.

Can you tell us about your upcoming 5th annual JFK assassination luncheon/symposium in Mansfield Texas?

Once again, I am having my 5th annual luncheon /symposium at Dirty Job Brewing in Mansfield Texas. This has become an annual event, each year growing in numbers. My main goal is to provide an inviting, intimate setting for researchers, curious observers, or anyone with an interest in the JFK assassination to come learn and interact with authors, researchers, and eyewitnesses. I always have a catered dinner, this year its good old Texas BBQ from Big D BBQ in Mansfield Texas. There will be a bookstore to purchase books, DVD’s. and such.

The 1st people to purchase tickets will receive an autographed copy of the DVD “The Searchers”

Contact Chris Gallop @ cjgallop@yahoo.com. The price is $65.00 per ticket, which includes lunch, program, and a raffle ticket for some great prizes.

Who will be speaking at the Luncheon/Symposium, and what else can attendees look forward to seeing and learning?

I have a great lineup of speakers such as:

Hubert Clark- part of JFK’s Honor Guard, USN Retired, Author

Mary Moorman Krahmer- Eyewitness who took the famous polaroid picture of JFK at the time of the shooting.

Gary Shaw-1st generation researcher, author

Dr. Michael Marcades- Son of Rose Cheramie, who was a drug runner who worked for Jack Ruby. He is also an author

Randy Benson- Writer, producer, and director of the DVD “The Searchers” chronicling the lives, struggles, pitfalls, and elations of first generation researchers.

Beverly Oliver Massegee- Known as the Babushka Lady, Eyewitness. She will once again be singing and available to answer questions.

Would you get us up to speed regarding newly released documents in the JFK case, and some of what has just come out?

There were several documents released in July 2017, Several more released in October 2017, and several more files were released in November 2017. These files were released in accordance with the JFK Records Act which was signed by President George H.W Bush in 1992 following the release of Oliver Stone’s movie JFK. The files could only be stopped by Presidential order, which never came. However, President Trump did allow the withholding of some 200 or so files so that the agencies involved could review them to see if there is still a need for withholding them due to National Security, All remaining documents are to be released no later than April 29, 2018.  The files that have been released  can be accessed at the following link: https://www.archives.gov/research/jfk/2017

Several researchers are dedicating lots of time sorting through the document release, it will be some time before we know what was really released and the significance of the content.

What documents are still being held away from public view, and why?

We don’t really know what all has been withheld so it’s difficult to know what’s still being held back. There will be no smoking gun, no signed document from J. Edgar Hoover stating that Oswald had nothing to do with the assassination, or anything like that. We know that Oswald’s CIA file has been lost since the HSCA in the late 70’s. There are also films, pictures, and files that have probably long since destroyed.

Do you have any sites online, where people can follow new developments in the case, and discuss with other researchers and interested parties?

I have a Facebook forum called JFK-The Continuing Inquiry that people can go to and join the ongoing discussions about the assassination and related topics.

THE MEN WHO KILLED KENNEDY

(POPEYE) The Men Who Killed Kennedy is a 9-part video documentary series about the John F. Kennedy assassination by Nigel Turner that began with two 50 minutes segments originally aired on 25 October 1988 in the United Kingdom, titled simply Part One and Part Two. The programmes were produced by Central Television for the ITV network, and were immediately followed by a studio discussion on the issues titled The Story Continues, chaired by broadcaster Peter Sissons. The United States corporation, Arts & Entertainment Company, purchased the rights to the original two segments.

In 1989, the series was nominated for a Flaherty Documentary Award. The series was re-edited with additional material into three 50 minute programs in 1991, which were again shown by ITV. A sixth episode appeared in 1995. The series typically aired in November every year, but also from time to time during the year as repeats. But in November, 2003, when three additional segments (“The Final Chapter”) were added by the History Channel, the consequences were so immense that the entire series is no longer aired, though the History Channel still sells DVD copies of the first six documentaries.

The ninth documentary in the series, titled “The Guilty Men”, directly implicating former U. S. President Lyndon B. Johnson, created an outcry among Johnson’s surviving associates, Johnson’s widow, Lady Bird Johnson, journalist Bill Moyers, ex-President Jimmy Carter, Jack Valenti (longtime president of the Motion Picture Association of America), and the last-living (at the time of the outcry) Warren Commission commissioner and ex-President Gerald R. Ford, who lodged complaints of libel with the History Channel. They subsequently threatened legal action against Arts & Entertainment Company, owner of the History Channel.

The History Channel responded by assembling a panel of three historians, Robert Dallek, Stanley Kutler, and Thomas Sugrue. On a program aired April 7, 2004 called “The Guilty Man: A Historical Review”, the panel agreed that the documentary was not credible and should not have aired. The History Channel issued a statement saying, in part, “The History Channel recognizes that ‘The Guilty Men’ failed to offer viewers context and perspective, and fell short of the high standards that the network sets for itself. The History Channel apologizes to its viewers and to Mrs. Johnson and her family for airing the show.” Author Barr McClellan, interviewed in the documentary, complained that while the historians examined the evidence, they did not interview him or Turner.

All three new documentaries by Turner (“The Guilty Men,” “The Smoking Gun” and “The Love Affair”) were then permanently withdrawn by the History Channel, though they were originally slated to be viewed at least annually on the History Channel until the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination (November, 2013).

Trump Reneges on Releasing JFK Documents

Trump Reneges on Releasing JFK Documents | trump-block-art1 | Politics Trump

Trump speaks from the White House on October 26. Source: Getty Images

What he planned to release was heavily redacted or otherwise sanitized, suppressing JFK’s state-sponsored assassination – Oswald a convenient patsy, uninvolved in what happened.

With that in mind, it’s surprising Trump reneged on his pledge. With no important revelations in documents planned for release, why did he change his mind?

Saying he had “no choice” revealed his impotence, obeying what he’s told to do, going along with higher powers, dark forces running things, the way America is governed – a plutocracy-run police state, a fantasy democracy, one in name only to hide how rule in Washington operates, for the nation’s privileged class exclusively.

Trump released an absurd statement saying:

“Executive departments and agencies have proposed to me that certain information should continue to be redacted because of national security, law enforcement, and foreign affairs concerns.”

“I have no choice – today – but to accept those redactions rather than allow potentially irreversible harm to our Nation’s security.”

“This temporary withholding from full public disclosure is necessary to protect against harm to the military defense, intelligence operations, law enforcement, or the conduct of foreign relations that is of such gravity that it outweighs the public interest in immediate disclosure.”

Pure rubbish! His remarks made him look more foolish than if he said nothing. JFK files to be released were sanitized 10-times over to assure important truths about his assassination were removed. He released 2,800 files, ones of least importance.

The Warren whitewash Commission, stacked with insiders, was mandated to cover up hard truths. Its report saying Oswald acted alone was a bald-faced lie.

All records are in the National Archives. Included are unpublished reports – sealed until 2039.

They’re no longer applicable under the 1966 Freedom of Information Act and 1992 JFK Records Act.

Oswald was named as Kennedy’s assassin 15 minutes after he was shot. It was impossible to know that soon. The official story was bogus.

Jim Marrs book titled “Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy” discussed a Cartha DeLoach memo – FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s close aide.

He said then congressman Gerald Ford may have been the bureau’s Warren Commission informant. He had close CIA ties.

It was later learned he reported to Hoover secretly, admitting he instructed the commission to report Kennedy’s back wound up several inches. A lower location disproved the single gunman theory.

A subsequent commission report titled “A Presidential Legacy and the Warren Commission” said the investigation put “certain classified and potentially damaging operations in danger of being exposed.”

The CIA hid or “destroy(ed) some information, which can easily be misinterpreted as collusion in JFK’s assassination.”

Before his death, Ford publicly admitted the CIA destroyed or hid critical secrets related to Kennedy’s death.

He suggested a “conspiracy.” JFK was shot four times from in front and behind.

The Warren Commission lied, claiming twice. X-rays were altered. Other medical evidence was doctored to conceal his true cause of death.

The Secret Service had to be involved with what happened. Security protocol was violated. Instead of protecting JFK as mandated, agents assigned to his Dallas motorcade set him up.

The Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) destroyed important Presidential Protection Records to eliminate important evidence.

Oswald’s rifle couldn’t have killed Kennedy. His death certificate and autopsy said high-velocity bullets above 2,600 fps were fired. Oswald’s Mannlicher-Carcano rifle had a muzzle velocity of 2,000 fps.

In his book titled “JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters,” James Douglas said Kennedy had to go because he threatened the military/complex.

“(T)he CIA’s fingerprints (were) all over the crime and the events leading up to it,” he stressed.

The lone gunman theory long ago lost credibility. A state-sponsored coup eliminated Kennedy. Transforming himself from cold warrior to peacemaker meant he had to be killed.

Imagine what might have been if he served two terms, followed by two more under RFK if he and MLK lived.

State-sponsored assassinations eliminated these important figures – the lesson remembered by US presidents and aspiring ones for the last two generations.

The JFK Assassination and ‘Barry and ‘the Boys’

The JFK Assassination and

By Daniel Hopsicker, Madcowprod.com

Two hours before John Kennedy was assassinated on Friday November 22 1963  at 12:30 p.m. Central Time,  the stripper headlining Jack Ruby’s Carousel nightclub in Dallas was in a panic to get out of  town.

The National Archives and Records Administration today began releasing government documents never been disclosed on the Kennedy assassination, under a law passed in 1992 after Oliver Stone’s movie “JFK” provoked widespread discontent about foot-dragging on disclosure. (Thanks, Oliver!)

There are a number of passages in ‘Barry & ‘the boys’  which reveal facets of the Kennedy Assassination never before known—or even suspected to exist—in the literature of the Kennedy assassination. Why? Is it because I’m the smartest, most fearless investigative journalist alive?

However attractive as an explanation that might be, there’s another one that’s far more plausible:

Among journalists whose living depends on knowing which stories to flog like a mule,  and which to leave strictly alone, reporting which exposes CIA drug trafficking operations—especially in anything like real time— remain verboten, taboo, and highly-discouraged.

See, for instance, Gary Webb.

The story I want to tell today is about two women from the same family in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The first, “Aunt Jada,” was a stripper, exotic dancer extraordinaire, and savvy survivor who managed to play a significant role pointing to Jack Ruby’s knowledge of the upcoming Kennedy Assassination.

The second woman,  Jada’s niece Lena,  who exemplifies traditional American upward mobility,  even  in organized crime,  became an officer in a hundred million dollar corporation strongly suspected of being involved in the money laundering industry which sprang up around Barry Seal.

Drug smuggling, money laundering, and covert ops leading to assassination plots  are hallmarks of the one U.S. governmental Agency, and its most famous operative, Barry Seal, that is most often accused of complicity in the death of John Kennedy.

Drug pilots are glorified bus drivers with epaulets

The JFK Assassination and

How I got the story: At a certain point during a two-year investigation into Barry Seal n Louisiana,  I got ‘wised-up.’

Afterwards, romantic tales of drug pilots skimming the waves across the Gulf of Mexico  to avoid radar detection became uninteresting, as I realized that unless you’re an amateur free-lancer—and there are few of them— flying drugs into the United States is no more eventful than driving a school bus.

If you did a line of coke during the 1980’s—in a club, at a bar, in a bathroom stall, anywhere—chances are pretty good it came through Barry Seal’s Transportation and Logistics Division. It was a huge undertaking, bigger than  Procter & Gamble’s massive operation to stock and re-stock pharmacy and supermarket shelves with toothpaste and Charmin.

And it was Barry Seal who kept the trains running on time in the drug trade in the U.S.  It is a $400 billion a year industry in the U.S. alone, creating a slush fund as big as the dead zone awash with plastic refuse in the Pacific. Big enough to buy a Presidential election. Or almost anything else.

I was left with just one big question:  Who gets to pass out all that fresh green?

Using Barry Seal’s own records I began trying to trace the money up the line, looking for the Big Boss, or the Old Man, as Seal called him.

Then I got a fateful tip.  “Take a look at ‘Trinity Energy,” advised a source. “Richard Ben-Veniste (Seal’s one-time attorney) incorporated a Trinity Oil or Trinity Energy to launder money for his client.”

Be careful what you wish for

The JFK Assassination and

The tip eventually allowed a glimpse into the “corporatization” of the drug trade.  But it was also a mixed blessing. Because before I had even finished investigating Barry Seal’s drug money laundering connections, I had been  sued, separately, by two men whose names surfaced in connection with what was apparently a touchy topic.

The lawsuits were successful in keeping ‘Barry & ‘the boys’ out of  bookstores  for almost five years. I was eventually forced to settle, and remove both men’s names from my book.  (And no, Project Censored never called.)

Still, I was able to uncover evidence of a “close business associate” of Barry Seal who incorporated a company called ‘Trinity Energy’ that was sold for $22 million in 1995, ending up in the hands of a Delaware company, ICF Kaiser, then being run by Tony Coehlo, a former California congressman who went on to run Al Gore’s 2000 Presidential campaign.

That was shocking news. Then a second (but related) company called Trinity Energy yielded evidence which was even more interesting.

This is that story.

A serious case of post-Mardi Gras blues

The JFK Assassination and

The sign on the front door of a steak house in New Orleans’ French Quarter said “closed,”  which enraged the restaurant’s proprietor, who entered, and angrily strode across the darkened main dining room.

Accounts of what happened next agreed. When the smoke cleared, it was apparent he’d been shot three times at point blank range… by his wife.

At his wife’s trial for attempted murder, he testified, “I went inside and asked someone why the restaurant was closed. Then I looked at the bar, and Lena (his wife and business partner) was sitting on a stool. When I asked her why the restaurant was closed, she reached into the pocket of her sweater, and instantly I knew why it had been closed, and why all the workers had been sent home.”

“I threw my hands up and said, ‘uh, don’t Lena! Then I saw the blue flame from the gun.”

“I felt the bullet hit me in the jaw. I turned and tried to dive behind the bar. She shot me two more times, in the back. I fell to my knees and crawled toward the bar on my stomach.”

“I was on the phone with Lena when she shot him,” a Houston restaurateur who was a longtime business associate of the couple told me.

I heard the shots and the commotion. When she picked the phone back up, I said, “Lena, did you  just shoot Dale?”

She said, “’Yeah, I shot the bastard. But it was a really little gun. He’ll live.’”

“All the way from Gulfport to New Orleans”

Lena had pumped three .25-caliber bullets from a derringer into her husband’s imposing 6-foot-2-inch, 240-pound bulk. Was it a fit of pique?

The answer was ‘no,’ according to the dozen witnesses who testified on Lena’s behalf, who characterized her husband as a “raging bull” and described numerous occasions on which he had physically abused his wife.  In his defense, he had told police he didn’t beat his wife “any more than any other husband.”

The JFK Assassination and

Their only child also spoke of a reign of terror. “Once on Father’s Day, my mom gave my Dad a pencil sharpener for a present,”he testified. “And he threw it at her in the car, called her a bitch and a whore, and was driving and hitting her all the way from Gulfport (Mississippi) to New Orleans.”

Days later a courtroom packed with supporters cheered the verdict of not guilty of attempted murder.

Why is this of interest to the story of Barry Seal?

In 1981, when drug traffickers were hauling in so much money they resorted to weighing it on pallets, incorporation papers filed in Louisiana listed both of these two ‘star-crossed lovers’ as officers in a company called Trinity Energy.

Aunt Jada’ Had a Secret

The JFK Assassination and

Lena had been married to one of Carlos Marcello’s minions, who, after a season on a “shrimp boat” in the late 1970’s became independently wealthy, and a hugely-successful restaurateur.

And Janet, or Jada, Conforto, or Conforte, was Lena’s aunt, the star headliner the weekend Kennedy was murdered.

“I noticed you’ve been sniffing around the New Orleans Conforte’s,” wrote someone who had been following our progress. “You might be interested in the fact that ‘Jada’ was the stage name of a stripper from New Orleans who was Jack Ruby’s girlfriend and whose real name was Janet Conforto.”

The JFK Assassination and

When Jack Ruby was arrested, authorities found hundreds of 8×10 glossies of Jada in the trunk of his car. Ruby had been handing them out to anyone who would take one.

Turns out, Aunt Jada had a secret. On the morning of the Kennedy assassination,  She was in such a panic to leave Dallas that she ran over a pedestrian.

Driving a white Cadillac convertible with Louisiana plates, Jada Conforto stopped just long enough to phone someone in Jack Ruby’s office to pick up the slightly-injured pedestrian,  and take him to a hospital.  To the traffic officer filling out the report,  she said, “Please just hurry up and call someone in Ruby’s office to fix things. I’m in a hurry to get to New Orleans.”

It is clear that there was something extremely urgent that Jada had to do.  She had to get out of town.

“By the way, about that Oswald thing”

She should have been getting ready to ‘open’ at the Carousel. Instead, Dallas police documents indicate, she suddenly became fiercely  intent on ‘getting the fuck out of Dodge.’

In a letter filled with coded references to the head of the Dallas Criminal Investigation Division, Dallas Asst. Chief of Police Charles Batchelor reported that a local man had been hit by a woman fleeing Dallas in a hurry at 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the assassination. Although Jada was a well-known top-billed stripper for Ruby,  the letter said “The woman gave the appearance of being in show business.”

Then, with studied indifference, the letter states “It is unknown if this has any significance in the Oswald case.”

On the morning of the JFK assassination, Jack Ruby’s girlfriend was frantically fleeing Dallas.  According to the Dallas Police,  it had no significance to the Oswald case. And it didn’t even make the papers.

Investigating Barry Seal’s links to drug money laundering—which ostensibly have nothing to do with the Kennedy assassination—turned up evidence that the FBI’s characterization of Jack Ruby as a small-time operator “never able to cultivate” friendships with important figures in organized crime left something to be desired.

An invite to the Marcello bash

The JFK Assassination and

There’s a coda:  I asked Lena if she’d put me in touch with ‘Aunt’ Jada’ for an interview.

She said, “Jada’s dead. She was killed in a motorcycle accident during the (House Select Committee) Kennedy assassination investigation.”

“My sister in Kenner told me a few years later that Jada had been murdered because she knew too much.”

I also asked where she and her mobbed-up hubby were on the day of the assassination.

She said, “We were on our way to a big party that night, the big post-acquittal bash Carlos Marcello held after being found “not guilty” of federal charges on the same day Kennedy died.”

“I was on a streetcar on Canal Street, shopping for a new dress to wear to the party when I heard the news. I turned around and went home, and didn’t have the heart to go to the party. But he (my husband) went.”

 And so it goes.

5 Major Revelations from the Newly Declassified JFK Assassination Files

(ANTIMEDIA) — On October 26, nearly three thousand files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy were released to the public. After more than fifty years, the public may now have a clearer picture of what took place behind the scenes following the public murder of an American president. However, even with the latest document dump, thousands of related classified files still remain hidden from public view.

On Thursday, Trump’s press secretary released a statement explaining the last minute decision to keep certain files classified. According to the statement, the National Archives will release more records by April 26, 2018. “JFK Files are being carefully released. In the end there will be great transparency. It is my hope to get just about everything to public!” Trump tweeted. Media pundits called out the president for failing to keep his promise while others, including Julian Assange, defended him and placed the blame on the CIA and the “Deep State.”

Despite the last minute hand-wringing, the newly released files do include some interesting bits of history that illuminate the type of thinking that goes on behind closed doors at the CIA and the FBI. Let’s take a brief look at a couple of these documents.

1. Foreknowledge of the assassination

In a November 26, 1963 memo to the director of the FBI, it is reported that an anonymous call was placed to the Cambridge News on November 22 warning of impending “big news.”

The caller said only that the Cambridge News reporter should call the American Embassy in London for some big news and then hung up,” reads the memo from former CIA Deputy Director James Angleton. According to the Daily Mail, London lawyer and JFK researcher Michael Eddowes said in 1981 that there was a call to the Cambridge News and that he believed the caller was British-born Soviet agent Albert Osborne. “Mr. Eddowes also argued in his book, The Oswald File, a Soviet agent imposter took the place of Lee Harvey Oswald after the murder and allowed Jack Ruby to kill him while the true Oswald was hidden in Russia,” the Mail reports.

2. Oswald working for the CIA?

In a 1975 deposition to the Rockefeller Commission on CIA Activities in 1975, then-CIA Director Richard Helms is questioned by attorney David Berlin about the CIA’s involvement in the JFK assassination. After a brief back and forth between the two men, Berlin begins to ask Helms if there is any information indicating Lee Harvey Oswald — the apparent lone wolf assassin — was a CIA agent. The document then abruptly cuts off.

BERLIN: Well, now, the final area of my investigation relates to charges that the CIA was in some way conspiratorially involved with the assassination of President Kennedy. During the time of the Warren Commission, you were Deputy Director of Plans, is that correct?

HELMS: I believe so.

BERLIN: Is there any information involved with the assassination of President Kennedy which in any way shows that Lee Harvey Oswald was in some way a CIA agent or agent…

(For a deeper look into the possibility of Oswald as a CIA agent see this.)

In addition, this same document includes a comment from Director Helms that claims President Johnson believed Kennedy was assassinated for killing South Vietnamese leader Ngo Dinh Diem. “President Johnson used to go around saying that the reason President Kennedy was assassinated was that he had assassinated President Diem and this was just justice,” Helms stated.

3. FBI was tipped off one day before Oswald was killed

In a memo dated Nov. 24, 1963, J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI, acknowledges that FBI agents were warned by an unidentified man about the threat on Lee Harvey Oswald’s life one day before Jack Ruby killed him. Hoover says the FBI contacted Dallas police after receiving the call.

We at once notified the Chief of Police and he assured us Oswald would be given sufficient protection,” Hoover said in the memo. “This morning we called the Chief of Police again warning of the possibility of some effort against Oswald, and he again assured us adequate protection would be given. However, this was not done.”

4. Russia suspected LBJ of involvement in Assassination

A newly released FBI document reveals that Soviet intelligence officers suspected President Johnson of involvement in the JFK assassination. The Soviets’ suspicion of LBJ was confirmed in a memo forwarded from FBI Director Hoover to President Johnson’s assistant, Marvin Watson, on December 2, 1966. Initially, the Russian officials “believed there was some well-organized conspiracy on the part of the ‘ultraright’” involving the assassination of JFK.

Our sources added that in instructions from Moscow, it was indicated that ‘now’ the KGB was in possession of data purporting to indicate President Johnson was responsible for the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy,” the document reads.

Former President LBJ has long been the subject of conspiracy theories regarding his involvement with the JFK assassination. The new files will likely add to the speculation.

5. Members of assassination investigation suspected journalists of working with CIA

During the investigation into the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr., Walter Fauntroy, an activist and delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, began questioning officials about the CIA’s covert efforts to infiltrate the U.S. media. In late April 1977, Fauntroy sent out a letter to former CIA Director Stansfield Turner regarding his concern that the CIA was manipulating the investigation into the assassination of JFK and MLK Jr. At the time, Fauntroy was known for questioning the CIA’s role in the investigation.

Fauntroy references two articles — a November 30, 1973 article from the Washington-Star News and a December 1, 1973 article from the Washington Post — that discuss the revelation that the CIA was paying or working with at least 40 journalists.

The Central Intelligence Agency has about three dozen American journalists working abroad on its payroll as undercover informants, some of them as full‐time agents,” the article states. “After William E. Colby, Director of Central Intelligence, ordered a review of the practice two months ago, agency officials found the names of some 40 full‐time reporters, free‐lance journalists and correspondents for trade publications in their files as regular undercover contacts who supplied information to agents in the field and who are regularly paid for their services.”

These reports led Fauntroy to question Director Stansfield on whether or not the practice was still taking place and might possibly interfere with the House Assassinations Committee, the group tasked with solving the JFK and MLK murders. “While I am a strong supporter and advocate of hard, factual news coverage, I am concerned that some of the news reports have been unfair and without bases,” Fauntroy wrote. “I simply want to be certain that there is no connection between the manner in which the news is reported, and the past relationship of certain journalists to the  CIA.”

Fauntroy’s concerns seem well-founded when taking into consideration that only years before he wrote the letter, it was revealed via the Watergate Scandal and reporting from Seymour Hersh that the CIA operated a mass surveillance network with which they spied on activists and infiltrated news organizations. Further, in 1977 Carl Bernstein reported there were actually hundreds of journalists working for the CIA throughout the previous two decades.

While the new documents do not reveal the complete truth about who was involved in the assassination of John F. Kennedy, they will continue to fuel the fire that is JFK conspiracy research.

JFK Files Show FBI Mention Contact with Oswald a Month BEFORE Assassination

oswaldThe newly released documents raise questions about why the FBI mentioned contact with Oswald just 1 month before President Kennedy"s assassination.

National Archives Releases Another 2,891 JFK Assassination Records

As discussed earlier, nearly 54 years after the assassination of JFK, in a release that was greenlighted by the president himself last week, and which Trump is eagerly awaiting...

While this was met with great anticipation as conspiracy theorists everywhere hoped to close the books on their various ideas surrounding the death of Kennedy, at the last minute President Trump appeared to cave to persistent cross-agency lobbying and announced he would not order the release of the full tranche of records, instead following last-minute recommendations of his national security agencies that some of those records be redacted to give in to pressure from the CIA.

Instead, the National Archives, in its role as custodian, has unveiled a smaller batch of so-called "JFK Files": some 2,891 JFK Assassination records meant to shed more light on what happened in Dallas at 12:30pm on November 22, 1963. While it is hoped that the release will answer some questions about the assassination of John F Kennedy, with virtually everyone in the US who is next to a computer trying to access the files at this moment...

... the last minute delay and blockage is likely to add fuel to dozens of brand new conspiracy theories.

How to access the documents:

The National Archives has scanned the them for public consumption. Click here for the main site. In July, a large trove of documents was made public, crashing the Archives site. According to Dallas News, officials say they"ve strengthened the site for the expected increase in interest today, but be prepared for slow load times and a possible interruption of service. Scroll past those July releases (or download them if you haven"t already) to get to the new stuff. The files will be available via .zip drive. The documents will then be saved locally to your computer.

A simpler way is just to search the database, but without knowing what one is looking for, it may be a little tricky.

Prepare for disappointment, however: the Dallas detective who was the first to interrogate Lee Harvey Oswald does not expect much new information to come from the Thursday release of sealed documents pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Speaking to CBS, Jim Leavelle answered questioned surrounding the assassination for five decades. "They’re thinking they’re going to find something new that nobody ever knows about,” said Leavelle. Known for his tan suit and tall cowboy hat, Leavelle was the man to Oswald’s right as Jack Ruby shot and killed Oswald. Leavelle was helping transfer Oswald when the shot was fired.

“You got a job to do and I had a job to save that man’s life,” said Leavelle. “That’s what was all going through my mind.”

“We checked it out to my satisfaction and to everybody else,” said Leavelle.

Their hard work has never satisfied some who feel investigators have held back information. There are details they are hoping will surface Thursday when President Trump signs off on the release of the final batch of classified JFK documents.

“To tell you the truth, I don’t give it much thought at all because I know pretty much what’s in all of them,” said Leavelle.

While he will not talk about everything that is currently classified, Leavelle still does not think the release will reveal much about Oswald’s unexplained trip to Mexico City weeks before the assassination or any other secrets.

“A lot of people are going to be disappointed I think,” said Leavelle. “They think they’re going to find a new suspect and all of this and those things and they’re not going to find it…because it’s not there.”

To those who still will not be satisfied, Leavelle has a message. “Well I’ll just tell you’ll have to keep looking and see if you find anything,” said Leavelle. “I can’t help you. I can’t build something that’s not there.”

Of course, there is no better way to confirm or deny the contents of the records, than to personally sift through all of them, which is why for all those seeking answer, remember: if you get a 404 error when clicking this site, just keep clicking - US labor productivity is already abysmally low anyway.

Here are some early examples (as yet unconfirmed) from social media of potentially interesting tidbits exposed in the new files...
