EBOLA’S BACK! OUTBREAK ALERT After 21 Cases And 17 Deaths Reported In Last 5 Weeks

The Democratic Republic of Congo has been alerted to an outbreak of Ebola.  In the past five weeks, there have been 21 cases of the infection reported, and 17 of those are now deceased.

The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo declared the outbreak of Ebola hemorrhagic fever, a rare and deadly disease, on Tuesday, the World Health Organization reported.  The declaration of an outbreak came after laboratory results confirmed two cases of the disease in the province of Bikoro in the northwestern part of the country. Bikoro is situated on the shores of Lake Tumba near the border with the Republic of the Congo. The new cases were reported from a small health facility about 30 kilometers (19 miles) from Bikoro.

The average case fatality rate for Ebola hemorrhagic fever is around 50%. The deadly virus most commonly affects people and nonhuman primates (monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees) and is caused by one of five Ebola viruses.

“We will gather more samples, conduct contact tracing, engage the communities with messages on prevention and control, and put in place methods for improving data collection and sharing,” said Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, the WHO’s regional director for Africa. “WHO will work closely with health authorities and partners to support the national response.”

Upon learning of the confirmed cases, the WHO alerted neighboring countries and set up its Incident Management System to fully dedicate staff and resources to the response. A government statement released Tuesday stated that the Ministry of Health has “taken all necessary measures to respond promptly and effectively to this new epidemic of Ebola in the DRC’s national territory.”

Unfortunately, the DRC has a history with the Ebola virus. This is its ninth outbreak of Ebola virus disease since the discovery of the virus in the country in 1976. The last outbreak, in 2017, was quickly contained.  There are hopes that a quick response will all see this recent outbreak contained rapidly as well. WHO has also released $1 million from a contingency fund to support its activities in the containment efforts of this outbreak for the next three months.

Speaking on behalf of the Democratic Republic of Congo Minister of Health, Lambert Matuku, the Minister of State and Labor, said, it is “a worrisome sanitary situation.”

Poor, Obese and Unhealthy into the 21st Century

Poor, Obese and Unhealthy into the 21st Century | obesity | Medical & Health Society Special Interests US News World Health Organization World News

(The Real Agenda News) Over 40 million Children are obese according to the latest numbers.

Childhood obesity is not just a problem of rich countries. In fact, it is much less so in wealthy nations.

According to the World Health Organization, of the 42 million children under five who are overweight in the world, 35 million, or 83%, are part of middle and low-income families.

“It’s an explosive nightmare,” says the World Health Organization (WHO), which has advanced data from the Commission to End Childhood Obesity; a body that was established two years ago.

Apart from the figures, the WHO is concerned about childhood development. For example, in Africa, the number of obese and overweight children under five years of age has nearly doubled since 1990, according to this study.

Obesity problems go beyond the scale and into degenerative diseases that are the result of being overweight, obese and morbidly obese.

The consequences of these diseases are now much more prevalent in so-called developed countries, where the crisis is not one of undernutrition due to lack of food, but of malnutrition due to the consumption of fast food.

Going Beyond Malnutrition

In poor countries, malnutrition is not the only problem.

There are more cases of diseases such as dengue, cholera, tuberculosis and AIDS, to name but a few. It is also important to remember that the third world also suffers from high incidence of cancers, cardiovascular diseases and traffic accidents, not to mention other causes of death that were once characteristic of rich countries.

The report, whose data are not yet completed, has drawn the first conclusion: “It is not the child’s fault,” said the co-chair of the commission, Peter Gluckman.

According to the data from the WHO, in 2014, 48% of all obese and overweight children lived in Asia, and 25% in Africa.

“The region where the problem is so alarming and where t is fast growing is Asia,” warned Gluckman.

Among the factors behind the increase in childhood obesity figures include biological factors, the environment and, of course, food intake.

The report also includes other issues such as inadequate access to health services, decreased physical activity in schools and the deregulation of fattening foods.

Any solution to the exploding obesity epidemic requires a comprehensive and coordinated response, the report indicates.

Is being Obese a matter of Genetic Predisposition?

Gluckman has explained that it has been detected that Asian children have a specific metabolism that makes them retain fat in the abdominal part of the body, the area surrounding vital organs, exactly where it is most harmful to health.

“We are studying why, but it is a very dangerous development because that fat is installed long before the external and the child shows signs of overweight and obesity on the outside,” he explained.

With regard to Latin America, it is estimated that the prevalence of overweight children in the region stands at 8% in children under five.

Gluckman has pointed out that Latin American leaders are well aware of the problem and are seriously responding, and noted that many countries are directing their policies in the right direction.

“Keep in mind that obesity impacts the quality of life of children, affecting their physical, psychological state, their ability to study, to relate, and will put many barriers in life, so we must urgently deal with this matter,” said Sania Sishtar, the co-chair of the commission.

In addition, Sishtar has warned that childhood obesity is a major factor in the possibility of developing obesity during adulthood and, consequently, major noncommunicable diseases, including cardiovascular disease.

In this situation, the study’s authors expect the WHO Executive Board, meeting this week in Geneva at its 138 edition, to note and suggest to the World Health Assembly to adopt a resolution urging countries to implement measures to fight obesity.

Among them, the report recommends educating children, parents, teachers, and leaders about the importance of eating healthy food and reducing the intake of sugars and fats. It is also necessary to promote physical activity and reduce sedentarism.

In extreme cases of adult obesity in women, the report suggests that they enter into programs that help prevent diabetes for them and their future children, since many cases of obesity may be related to what happened during the months of pregnancy.

Apocalyptic Smog Causes Health Concerns: ‘Delhi Has Become A Gas Chamber’

indiasmog

Residents of the heavily populated city of New Delhi, India have had to tie scarves across their faces in an effort to breathe more easily.  The heavy smog in the city is entering day three, and a state of emergency could soon be declared to protect the health of the people who reside there.

Air quality readings in India’s capital have soared since Tuesday, with one monitor showing levels in the city were 969. To put that in perspective, the World Health Organization considers anything above 25 to be unsafe. Those levels are based on the concentration of fine particulate matter, or PM 2.5, per cubic meter. The microscopic particles, which are smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, are considered particularly harmful because they are small enough to lodge deep into the lungs and pass into other organs, causing serious health risks.

The wider Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) is a sprawling area that encompasses Delhi, as well as satellite districts in the neighboring states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, and is home to some 46 million people  The area lacks effective public transportation and workers must drive their own cars to and from jobs in the city, which CNN says further exacerbates the problem.

According to CNN, The Delhi government is being urged to declare a city-wide health emergency, as residents endured a third straight day of heavy pollution. But apparently, this happens every year, according to one Twitter user, who blames the smog on crop burning.

Every year, farmers across fertile neighboring states set fire to their fields to clear them for the next season. Known as stubble burning, millions of tons of crop residue are set alight releasing untold amounts of particulate matter into the environment.

Politicians and government officials are also blaming farmers in neighboring northern Indian states who clear their fields by burning their crops. The landlocked capital sits in a natural bowl and is surrounded by industrial and agricultural hubs. Without the coastal breeze of cities such as Mumbai and Chennai, much of the pollution settles.

But crop burning is not the only problem India faces with regards to their pollution problem.  Delhi’s pollution also comes from industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust from cars, road dust, and the burning of biomass, said Santosh Harish, assistant director of research at EPIC India, a research institute based in the US and India.

A report by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur carried out in 2014 found that vehicle omissions accounted for 20% of Delhi’s annual PM2.5 levels and combating that pollution will be a difficult task because the number of cars on the city’s roads has continued to rise. According to government statistics, the total number of vehicles in Delhi exceeded 10 million for the first time in 2016.

Should New Delhi fail to reign in their pollution, the health of 46 million is on the line.

Madagascar Plague Outbreak Has Already Killed 57 And Infected Over 600

plague

An outbreak of the plague in Madagascar is spreading at an unprecedented rate.  With the ease of spreading the plague, the likelihood that this disease will move to other more densely populated regions of the planet has become a huge concern for many.

So far, the plague has claimed 57 lives and infected more than 680 others. These figures are from October 12, however, and the disease is spreading rapidly.  An estimated 329 of these cases and 25 of the deaths were in the capital city of Antananarivo.  Of the 684 cases reported as of October 12, 474 were the pneumonic plague, 156 bubonic and 1 septicemic plague. A further 54 were unspecified, according to the World Health Organization. Of Madagascar’s 114 districts, 35 have reported cases of plague, including at least 10 cities.

Plague is caused by infection with the bacterium Yersinia pestis and is typically spread through the bite of infected fleas, frequently carried by rats. The bacteria will eventually end up causing the often fatal plague. Symptoms can include painful, swollen lymph nodes, called buboes, as well as fever, chills, and coughing. Pneumonic plague is more virulent or damaging and is an advanced form of the disease characterized by a severe lung infection. The infection can be transmitted from person to person via airborne droplets from coughing or sneezing. The incubation period is extremely short too, and an infected person may die within 12 to 24 hours of contracting the bacteria making cures in underdeveloped regions of the globe difficult at best.

According to CNN, the cases were reported by both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Bureau for Risk and Disaster Management (BNGRC) in Madagascar.  They include probable and suspected cases as well those that have been confirmed by laboratory tests. And while the country experiences regular outbreaks, with an estimated 400 cases of plague each year, this time things are very different, experts warn.

This year, health officials report the infections started much earlier than usual, and they’re occurring in new areas, including urban settings. They’ve also seen an unexpected number of cases of pneumonic plague, which transmits more easily from person to person.  Historically dubbed the “black death” the bubonic plague has been responsible for several worldwide pandemics in the past.

Early detection of the plague is key since both forms of it can be cured with antibiotics.  But, occasionally there can be cases of septicemic plague, where the infection has spread to a person’s bloodstream and can cause bleeding and necrosis of tissue, turning it black.

The government of Madagascar has mobilized resources to spray schools and other public places to fight fleas and rodents and curb the spread of the infection. People have also been lining up at pharmacies in the capital while wearing face masks to get medications or protection. To further reduce the spread of the disease, public schools are closed and the government has forbidden public gatherings, according to the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC).

Internationally, this outbreak is also being taken seriously.  WHO delivered more than 1.2 million doses of antibiotics and released $1.5 million in emergency funds earlier this month. The Red Cross has released more than $1 million to deploy a treatment center and has mobilized more than 1,000 volunteers and is upgrading their skills on community surveillance, finding and monitoring people who have been in contact with infected patients and insightful messaging to stop the spread of this disease.

American Media Silent After UN Just Called for Decriminalizing Drug Use Worldwide

drug

A little-noticed public statement issued by the United Nations last week contains a dramatic shift in thinking on the issue of “illicit” substance use. After recommitting to the failed idea of prohibition just last year, the UN is now calling for the worldwide decriminalization of drug use and possession.

The statement, put out by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the U.S. is in the midst of another political debate over health care, calls for “ending discrimination in health care settings.” The WHO calls on states to end discrimination against “marginalized and stigmatized populations” in a variety of ways, and includes a blunt and rather shocking statement on the drug war.

We, the signatory United Nations entities, call upon all stakeholders to join us in committing to taking targeted, coordinated, time-bound, multisectoral actions in the following areas. Supporting States to put in place guarantees against discrimination in law, policies, and regulations by… Reviewing and repealing punitive laws that have been proven to have negative health outcomes and that counter established public health evidence. These include laws that criminalize or otherwise prohibit…drug use or possession of drugs for personal use.

This is an admission that the problem of drug abuse is a public health issue, not a criminal justice issue. Locking people in cages for the victimless behavior of ingesting substances arbitrarily deemed illegal by the State does nothing to reduce drug use or supply, as evidenced by the utter failure of the War on Drugs.

Prohibition has also denied people the miraculous healing powers of cannabis. For decades medical research of cannabis was stifled by a drug war borne of racism and political suppression. But research has increased exponentially in recent years as governments around the world take steps to decriminalize this medicinal plant, notably among states in the U.S.

READ MORE:  DEA Agent Speaks Out: We Were Told Not to Enforce Drug Laws In Rich Communities

With this awakening has come amazing stories of healing through cannabis, such as stopping seizures in children with debilitating epilepsy, treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in veterans where all other treatments have failed, and healing a host of other illnesses without the dangerous side-effects of pharmaceutical drugs.

In terms of health care, prohibition is truly discriminatory, and the drug war only degrades public health. Portugal decriminalized all drugs in 2001, and it has been a resounding success. Drug usage rates, addiction rates, overdose deaths and sexually transmitted diseases have all declined.

The WHO statement is also notable because it contradicts the UN’s reaffirmed support of prohibition during their 2016 “special session on drugs.” The special session was the first to be held in almost two decades, and many were expecting a softened approach from the failed war on drugs.

Despite the pleas of countries like Mexico—suffering from horrendous black market drug violence—to “move beyond prohibition,” a prohibition framework remained in place. In the UN’s 1998 ‘special session on drugs’ the world body agreed to work toward a “drug free world” by 1998. The sheer lunacy of this position is blatantly obvious now more than ever. Despite decades of prohibition and trillions of dollars spent, drugs remain easily accessible.

The WHO statement comes at a time when the U.S. drug war is in a pivotal moment. More and more U.S. states are decriminalizing cannabis at both the medicinal and recreational level, putting themselves at odds with the ongoing federal prohibition of cannabis as a Schedule 1 narcotic. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a well-known rabid prohibitionist, is taking steps to ramp up the drug war, calling for increased police measures and prison sentences—even though this approach is proven as a failure.

There is little hope that Sessions and other drug warriors around the world—such as Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte who is now having his police forces murder drug users on the spot—will pay any attention to the WHO call for decriminalization.

Nevertheless, the WHO statement is an encouraging sign that the tide has turned against prohibition. As the drug war is dismantled piece by piece—in Portugal, U.S. states, Mexico (which recently legalized medical cannabis) and Canada (soon to legalize recreational cannabis)—the wisdom of ending prohibition will become ever more obvious.

Cholera Hits Yemen

Cholera Hits Yemen | yemen-boy | World Health Organization World News (image: REUTERS/Khaled Abdullah)

During conflict-free times, Yemenis are the region’s poorest people, struggling daily to get by.

Since Bush/Cheney launched drone war on the country, continued by Obama and Trump, hugely exacerbated by US/Saudi terror war and blockade, a humanitarian catastrophe unequaled anywhere else exists, potentially millions of Yemenis at risk of perishing if things aren’t resolved.

And now cholera, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). It’s an infection of the small intestine, caused by contaminated food or water.

Symptoms include uncontrolled watery diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, rapid heart rate, and abdominal cramps, among others. Untreated severe cases can cause death.

In recent weeks according to the WHO, at least dozens of Yemenis perished from the disease. Over 2,700 suspected cases occurred – perhaps many more cholera-related deaths and illnesses than known or officially reported.

Terror-bombing, including on hospitals and medical clinics, as well as blockade prevents the availability of medical supplies, equipment and proper treatment for countless numbers of ill, injured, malnourished and starving Yemenis.

The WHO said it’s “distribut(ing) medicines and medical supplies, including cholera kits, oral rehydration solutions and intravenous (IV) fluids as well as medical furniture and equipment for diarrhoea treatment centres.”

“Ten new treatment centres are being established in affected areas. WHO is also supporting health authorities to establish oral rehydration therapy corners to treat mild and moderate dehydration due to diarrhoea.”

“Starting with 10 oral rehydration therapy corners in Sana’a, this approach will be replicated across all affected areas. More severe cases will be referred to the diarrhea treatment centres.”

Given daily Saudi terror-bombing and blockade, preventing enough food from reaching starving people, it’s unclear how effective WHO efforts can be, especially for a severely malnourished population, more vulnerable illness and disease.

Millions of Yemenis have poor or no access to medical treatment, unknown numbers likely perishing from various undiagnosed diseases and wounds sustained from war-related violence.

Yemen’s healthcare system is weak and inadequate. In many areas, proper sanitation is nonexistent. Pathogens causing cholera spread more easily in warm, rainy weather.

Last October, Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population announced the cholera outbreak. The WHO estimates around 7.6 million people live in areas with high risk of the disease’s occurrence and transmission.

According to its representative in Yemen Dr. Nevio Zagaria, “(w)e are very concerned with the re-emergence of cholera across several areas of Yemen in the past couple of weeks. Efforts must be scaled-up now to contain the outbreak and avoid a dramatic increase in cases of diarrhoeal disease.”

“WHO is in full emergency mode to contain the recent upsurge of suspected cholera cases. Containing the spread of the outbreak is a high priority for WHO, and we are coordinating efforts with all parties and with our health, water and sanitation partners to scale up an integrated and effective response to the cholera epidemic.”

Containing the outbreak is more a political than medical issue. As long as war and blockade continue, the ability to provide healthcare will be severely limited – largely unavailable for millions of Yemenis.

Here We Go Again: Another Futures Fund Is Caught In A "Short Gamma" Trap

Remember when the catalyst for the relentless, seemingly inexplicable broad market melt-up in mid-February was revealed to be an overeager short-biased hedge fund, which had been caught in a "short gamma" feedback loop, forced to buy more S&P futures the higher the market went? Well, as RBC"s Charlie McElliggott writes, the "short gamma" feedback loop appears to have returned as yet another fund is now caught in the same trap, and the market will soon test just what the fund"s point of margin call max pain is, potentially taking the S&P to 2,400 - if not far higher - on short notice.

As McElligott laments, "It’s awkward to write about this…AGAIN" which however won"t stop him from doing just that, and explains as follows:

GUESS WHO"S BACK...MORE "SHORT GAMMA" COCKROACHES, from RBC"s Charlie McElliggott

The same dynamic at play during our last equities ‘melt-up’ is seemingly back ‘in-play.’  Remember the hypothetical story on the multi-billion dollar open-ended futures fund which found itself ‘synthetically short’ size SPX due to its strategy where it sells multiple upside calls for every in-the-money long call? Well the macro ‘relief rally’ yesterday reintroduced that very same ‘gap risk’ which this type of strategy hates.

Well, we are now getting closer to ‘launch’ as the same situation is speculated to be ‘out there’ again.  There was some covering in 2330s and 2370s yesterday, while most of the size seemingly sits at the 2400 level.  As the market is sniffing out the upper strikes that such a strategy might be short, there is a self-fulfilling ‘short gamma’ as we push ever-closer to the pain-points.  Of course, today’s +++ earnings run is only further feeding into the anxiety, with strong #’s from CAT, DD, BIIB, MCD etc squeezing futures higher.  The fact of the matter is, the closer to actualizing these (short) upper strikes, the more likely we are to see that ‘itchy trigger finger’ on their delta-hedging.  I would keep an eye out on 2380 / 85 levels for possible next ‘breakpoints’ which could induce further forced covering.

If we were to then push onward to / through the 2400 level, then it almost seems the whole market will ‘act short’ simply based on stops, as SPX / ES would be making new all-time highs, which could set-off ‘buy stops’ from shorts, or potentially drag new longs into the market on the momentum break.  This is OUTSIDE of the potential ‘short gamma’ from the above trade(s).  That said, the real chunky OI in both SPX and SPY options sits at 2425 / 2450 levels.  A break to those levels would see serious ‘short gamma’ pain.

Mind you, this is all very relevant in relation to my current view that we are realistically still in the midst of a macro ‘range trade,’ especially in regards to rates / ‘reflation,’ as the commodities complexcontinues to really struggle as Crude falters and the Chinese liquidity driver fades.  My message has been to watch said “reflation trap” then, as there is still significant basis to short “reflation” at the 2.35/40 level—especially with this US data dynamic of ‘soft’ data rolling and ‘hard’ data now biased towards ‘missing.’

Caveat emptor.

How the Perfect Scenario For a Zika Virus Psyop Scare Is Slowly Evolving

How the Perfect Scenario For a Zika Virus Psyop Scare Is Slowly Evolving | zika-comeback | Mainstream Media Medical & Health Propaganda Sleuth Journal Special Interests World Health Organization World News

The Zika virus narrative concocted by first the medical “officials” in Brazil, the WHO (World Health Organization) and repeated by the mainstream media dating back to 2014 has taken many turns. All along, those pushing the Zika virus narrative have been faced with the dilemma of having to figure out how to overcome the real numbers told to us by doctors and researchers in Brazil and how to overcome the reality and history surrounding Zika virus in order to use the virus to accomplish their agenda and position themselves as saviors. They (the ruling elite who stand to gain from this operation) have been steadfast in their approach to the Zika virus mainstream narrative, consistently pushing the idea that the virus is confirmed by many subsequent “studies” to be related to the development of microcephaly (small brain).

So no one should be surprised that according to yet another round of CDC “studies” paid doctors and researchers on board with the CDC agenda are putting out statements directly opposite of what we know about the virus. So what DO we know? Author and vaccine researcher Jagannath Chatterjee summarizes the Zika story very well:

The world of modern medicine has since its inception been one of controversies, scandals and cover ups. Each such episode has bettered the other and is done with a finesse that appears clearly criminal in intent. The Zika virus episode is one of the best examples of this and hides a very cruel agenda behind it.

On February 1st 2016, the WHO declared the Zika virus epidemic a global public health emergency. This was even before it formally sat for a Skype meeting on February 2nd. What caused this urgency? The Zika virus, WHO claimed, had caused an epidemic of microcephaly in Brazilian children around 4000 of who had been affected since October 2015. Microcephaly is a condition where children are born with a small size of the skull and sometimes with under developed brains.

Experts cautioned that the virus was spreading fast and Latin America was threatened. Soon cases were reported from the USA, spread through sex, concretizing the official narrative on the “ferocious spread” of the virus. In the UK the public was reminded that the virus was only a plane ride away. Ireland advised condom use. Zika was also linked to a kind of paralysis called the Guillain Barre Syndrome, an auto-immune disorder where the body attacks its own nerve cells. The WHO put Zika in the same category as the Ebola; both belong to the same category of a virus family called Flavoviridae. The priority, it was said, was to protect pregnant women and babies from harm.

Even before this declaration by the WHO, on January 22nd the Government of Brazil had gone into an overdrive to contain the epidemic. The Health Minister requested women to avoid pregnancy, asked the pregnant women to report to doctors for a checkup, and employed 200,000 soldiers in a fumigation drive to kill mosquitoes. Pregnant women were heart broken in the country. Many considered aborting and some even went ahead and conducted illegal abortions, as abortions are not legal in the country. The media was flush with news and every TV channel and print media highlighted this global crisis. Experts suggested that genetically modified mosquitoes used against the dengue carrying mosquitoes in Brazil should also be used against Zika as the vector, the Aedes aegypti variety was the same.

In a public health debate on France 24 TV channel on 26th January however the experts were cautious. Through their body language and careful choice of words they opined that the epidemic was perhaps not so serious. Brazil was probably overreacting to the crisis as it was hosting the Olympics in August 2016 and also the Paralympics in September. Clearly it had to show action on the ground to prove that strong steps were being taken to curb the epidemic. As they became more and more uncomfortable dealing with the subject of the interview, the Zika virus, the anchor had to wonder if this was another swine flu scare that had led to vaccine stockpiling worldwide and that had to be destroyed later leading to huge losses to Governments and profits to the manufacturer. An expert then conceded that common sense measures at the point of origin were usually enough to contain the spread of vector borne diseases.

Even as the hysteria mounted and the Health Minister of India called an extraordinary meeting to discuss India’s response to the public health emergency and the WHO predicted a global disease burden of 4 million with outbreaks in 20 countries, crucial information began to emerge in the independent media that shocked well read and educated people throughout the world. There was something very wrong in the way the WHO, Governments, other medical agencies and the media was fanning the issue.

Notably, Chatterjee goes on to say that:

In the future we can expect the Zika to be blamed for more and more conditions as the mere presence of the virus is being linked to illnesses and conditions in the patient. This is like blaming the firefighters present in the fire scene for the fire as they are present whenever there is a fire! Called ‘correlation does not mean causation’, this principle is not being applied here for obvious reasons.

As the writer above so correctly points out, let’s remember that correlation is not the same as causation and the latest CDC claims being pushed by the mainstream media and being delivered to the email boxes of doctors across the nation is based on elaborate numbers that only reflect correlation, a very unscientific principle to base conclusions on. In fact, they are not even hiding that the scientific techniques only go as far as attempting to show correlation. From a purely scientific point of view this is entirely disingenuous and even laughable. Unfortunately, this is where the mainstream media and Hollywood step in with their propaganda, mockery of truth and celebrity mouthpieces designed to facilitate your ignorance about this major scientific flaw. Their job is to sell you the emotional argument and to shut off that part of your brain that would try to reason scientifically and logically. And unfortunately this strategy works nicely especially on the fantasy minded, imaginary reality based Liberal Left.

On another note, and on the domestic side of things we’ve been hearing about president Trump’s budget cuts for months now. Many federal agencies are feeling the sting. Others know the cuts are coming and their budgets will be slashed soon. So what is a federal agency involved in the globalist agenda to do? In the case of the CDC who plays a vital central role in emergency situations and response to public disease outbreaks, the best you can hope for is … a major disease outbreak! And while this logic may seem too simplistic, based on conspiratorial assumptions or even based on confirmation bias, anyone paying attention and who knows the history of the Zika virus endless narrative knows this suggestion is not an exaggeration at all. In fact, looking at how the medical-mainstream media-industrial complex is playing their cards, it appears this could be exactly what they are planning at some time in perhaps the not so distant future.

That would explain the latest claims being made by the CDC and repeated throughout the mainstream media. Once again they are persistently claiming (based on correlation based studies) that the numbers exist to prove a stronger relationship between birth defects and exposure to Zika virus. And I can’t help to keep wondering, why do they keep doing this??

There is no sound scientific method being applied to make an irrefutable evidence based case for Zika virus being the direct cause of birth defects and unfortunately very likely no one will call out the CDC for their lack of integrity and their undermining of the science. And perhaps that’s the point. Just like the “Russia influence the election” globalist ongoing propaganda you keep the narrative going regardless of the lack of evidence and the continue to march forward toward the next phase of the agenda. That next phase appears to be looming closer and that is the activation of some kind of epidemic “event” or “outbreak” surrounding their Rockefeller patented Zika virus that will potentially cause scare, panic and chaos. This new chaos, they hope, will instantly alter everyone’s perspective on the need for compliance with CDC regulations, will justify the enforcement of vaccines and will fatten the pockets of the CDC and whatever vaccine/big pharma company is involved in this Zika virus “solution” process.

If we’ve learned nothing else from this Trump presidency we know that when you threaten the plans of the ruling elite they will respond with their own plans and strategies. This is another important reminder that our battle for humanity and our battle to preserve America, freedom, the rule of law and the Constitution against the globalist is a real battle and it is continuous. For every action those of us take to resist their agenda there often is an equal and opposite reaction. Such is the nature of battle and for this reason the Zika virus remains a very real threat in the near future. Beware!

Solutions

Finally, more than ever people must embrace true natural medicine and see the pharmaceutical based allopathic medicine for what it truly is. It’s one big marketing front for the pharmaceutical companies. Many hard working and evidence-based doctors in the little known field of Functional Medicine are already aware of this and are implementing their own revolution within the medical field and this is truly one of the solutions. Information today is freely available and that includes medicine and healing related information. It’s time to turn OFF agencies like the CDC, the AMA and many other pharmaceutical interest based organizations that don’t have your health healing and happiness in mind. It’s time to become your own doctor and truly take control of your body and health by educating yourself so that if and when the controllers role out their next Zika virus or other scare you’ll know what to do. Remember, this is just one card that ruling elite are holding onto for future use so let’s educate as many people as possible so that we can become independent of their control. For if freedom means anything at all it must begin with the freedom to choose what goes into your body and that includes not only vaccines and pills but nutrition and methods of healing.

Is College Worth It?

From the Slope of Hope: As I was strolling along in the chilly pre-dawn hours, I asked myself how much good college has done for me. It didn"t take me long to conclude: zero. Some of you know that I graduated from college rather swiftly (in just 2 1/2 years), since I was eager to get into the world of work. The information I garnered during those 2 1/2 years hasn"t been useful to me even once during the many years since I graduated, and there isn"t a single contact I made in college that was beneficial to me in any way at all.

Simply stated, I could have gone straight from high school to work without any difference.

Centuries ago, the only reason the tiny percentage of people who attended university did so was in order to join the clergy. These days, the rather substantial percentage of those going to "college" (and those quotation marks are deliberate on my part) have very different reasons for going: namely (1) because their parents or society expects them to do so in order to get a "good" job; (2) to garner useful contacts, particularly if one is attending an elite school.

I was accepted into "elite" schools (Princeton and Brown among them), but I chose instead to go to a more middle-of-the-road school. I suspect if I had gone to a brand-name school, I would have indeed garnered valuable contacts, but frankly, I did all right without them.

Even though there are over 4,000 colleges in the United States, there are only about 100 honest-to-God institutes of higher learning. The vast majority of the others are pretty much what high school SHOULD be, if our standards were higher in this country. If you ever compare the kind of education high schools in, say, South Korea get to what kids in the U.S. receive, you"ll quickly conclude we are a nation of morons. If it weren"t for our geographic advantage and rich natural resources, we"d probably have a place in the world similar to, say, Italy.

To my way of thinking, there are actually are two classes of folks who should rationally go to a 4-year college: first,  those who are planning to enter an actual profession which requires honest-to-God knowledge, such as a medical doctor, a civil engineer, a chemist, a lawyer, and so forth. Some of these may require graduate degrees, and others do not. But clearly we don"t want to have people becoming doctors by figuring it out as they go along, and we don"t want to drive across bridges made by such folks either.

The second class of people are those who endeavor to reach the higher levels of the social order and have been accepted into an elite institution. This obviously has a lot less to do with garnering knowledge than anything else (e.g. it isn"t WHAT you know, but WHO you know). Believe me, the non-famous guys (NOT Mark Zuckerberg and NOT Evan Spiegel) who were early employees in Facebook and Snapchat were very much in the right place at the right time, and these young men are billionaires (or centimillionaires) because they just happened to share a dorm room or occupy the same fraternity as a successful company founder. So if you want a lottery ticket-style chance of hooking up with the next Zuck, then go to Harvard.

I don"t particularly regret going to college - - I have some pleasant memories, and, unfortunately, in our society, you don"t really get taken seriously as a 20-something if you"re just a freakin" high school graduate (I doubt I"d ever have been employed at Apple when I was 21 if I wasn"t in college at that time). However, I think this is an unfortunate circumstance, and although most of the people reading this are decades too old to even be considering such a question, I at least wanted to go on record as saying that probably 80% of the people who go to college are wasting their time.
