The fears that the “black death” would spread from Madagascar have now taken hold.  As nations grapple with the outbreak of the bubonic plague, nine countries are sounding warnings that the disease is spreading rapidly.

The deadly plague outbreak that has struck Madagascar’s major cities has yet to “peak” and that could make the spread of this infection into the surrounding regions more likely. Dr. Ashok Chopra, a professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Texas, told The Sun Online the crisis in Madagascar had yet to peak. He also sounded the alarm to neighboring countries.  Since there are regular flights in and out of Madagascar and this outbreak has so far, been impossible to contain, other nations are now at risk.

Speaking from Madagascar, Christine South, head of IFRC’s (International Federation of Red Cross) emergency operations, said: “With anything like this there is a possibility that somebody could be infected and get on a plane. We have done preparedness support to some of the neighboring countries.” Tourists have been warned to stay out of Madagascar until doctors can get the plague under control to prevent its spread.

The outbreak is considered a much bigger threat to the region than in previous years because it has taken on its pneumonic form. That means it is airborne and spread by sneezing and coughing.  Not only that, but the plague has a very short incubation time.  Once exposed, some people will die within 24 hours.

whoalertplague

Experts say the epidemic could still worsen as the death tolls hit 124 and more than 1,300 are left infected.  The World Health Organization (WHO) has now issued alarming warnings in nine countries too.  “If they are traveling shorter distances and they’re still in the incubation period, and they have the pneumonic (form) then they could spread it to other places,” said Chopra.  “We don’t want to have a situation where the disease spreads so fast it sort of gets out of control. Most of the cases in the past have been of the bubonic plague but if you look at this particular outbreak, 70 percent of the cases are pneumonic plague, which is the most deadly form of the disease. If the treatment is not given in a very short period of time these people will end up dying.”

Both forms of the plague can be cured with antibiotics, but getting treatment quickly is the key to survival.

Madagascar Plague Outbreak Has Already Killed 57 And Infected Over 600

plague

An outbreak of the plague in Madagascar is spreading at an unprecedented rate.  With the ease of spreading the plague, the likelihood that this disease will move to other more densely populated regions of the planet has become a huge concern for many.

So far, the plague has claimed 57 lives and infected more than 680 others. These figures are from October 12, however, and the disease is spreading rapidly.  An estimated 329 of these cases and 25 of the deaths were in the capital city of Antananarivo.  Of the 684 cases reported as of October 12, 474 were the pneumonic plague, 156 bubonic and 1 septicemic plague. A further 54 were unspecified, according to the World Health Organization. Of Madagascar’s 114 districts, 35 have reported cases of plague, including at least 10 cities.

Plague is caused by infection with the bacterium Yersinia pestis and is typically spread through the bite of infected fleas, frequently carried by rats. The bacteria will eventually end up causing the often fatal plague. Symptoms can include painful, swollen lymph nodes, called buboes, as well as fever, chills, and coughing. Pneumonic plague is more virulent or damaging and is an advanced form of the disease characterized by a severe lung infection. The infection can be transmitted from person to person via airborne droplets from coughing or sneezing. The incubation period is extremely short too, and an infected person may die within 12 to 24 hours of contracting the bacteria making cures in underdeveloped regions of the globe difficult at best.

According to CNN, the cases were reported by both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Bureau for Risk and Disaster Management (BNGRC) in Madagascar.  They include probable and suspected cases as well those that have been confirmed by laboratory tests. And while the country experiences regular outbreaks, with an estimated 400 cases of plague each year, this time things are very different, experts warn.

This year, health officials report the infections started much earlier than usual, and they’re occurring in new areas, including urban settings. They’ve also seen an unexpected number of cases of pneumonic plague, which transmits more easily from person to person.  Historically dubbed the “black death” the bubonic plague has been responsible for several worldwide pandemics in the past.

Early detection of the plague is key since both forms of it can be cured with antibiotics.  But, occasionally there can be cases of septicemic plague, where the infection has spread to a person’s bloodstream and can cause bleeding and necrosis of tissue, turning it black.

The government of Madagascar has mobilized resources to spray schools and other public places to fight fleas and rodents and curb the spread of the infection. People have also been lining up at pharmacies in the capital while wearing face masks to get medications or protection. To further reduce the spread of the disease, public schools are closed and the government has forbidden public gatherings, according to the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC).

Internationally, this outbreak is also being taken seriously.  WHO delivered more than 1.2 million doses of antibiotics and released $1.5 million in emergency funds earlier this month. The Red Cross has released more than $1 million to deploy a treatment center and has mobilized more than 1,000 volunteers and is upgrading their skills on community surveillance, finding and monitoring people who have been in contact with infected patients and insightful messaging to stop the spread of this disease.

FDA Just Changed Their Minds, Declares CBD ‘Beneficial’—Asks for Your Input ASAP

cbd

As the pharmaceutical-led police state continues to lock up citizens in the United States for a plant, the World Health Organization (WHO), under the direction of the United Nations (UN), is on the precipice of declaring CBD highly beneficial. And, for the first time ever, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is collaborating with both the WHO and the UN to determine how the WHO should designate CBD under the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances. They want you to help them.

The FDA is now asking for the public’s help to weigh in on the measure to classify CBD appropriately. Those who are interested in keeping CBD not only legal but available to the general public without a prescription (in some states) should immediately comment on an FDA website designated for public comment. According to the FDA’s announcement:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is requesting interested persons to submit comments concerning abuse potential, actual abuse, medical usefulness, trafficking, and impact of scheduling changes on availability for medical use of 17 drug substances.

Those substances include the following: Ocfentanil, Carfentanil, Pregabalin, Tramadol, Cannabidiol, Ketamine, and Eleven Other Substances.

These comments will be considered in preparing a response from the United States to the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the abuse liability and diversion of these drugs. WHO will use this information to consider whether to recommend that certain international restrictions be placed on these drugs. This notice requesting comments is required by the Controlled Substances Act (the CSA).

Within the notice, FDA Deputy Commissioner Anna K. Abram acknowledged that “CBD has been shown to be beneficial in experimental models of several neurological disorders, including those of seizure and epilepsy.”

As Leafly points out, that puts the FDA at odds with the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which late last year attempted to declare CBD a Schedule I substance. Schedule I drugs, by definition, have “no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.”

As TFTP has reported, CBD is quite harmless but has been shown to help individuals who suffer from chronic pain, epilepsy, Parkinson’s, depression, anxiety, and a myriad of other illnesses.

TFTP spoke to an expert in CBD, John Callahan at AZ CBD Source, to see what he thinks of this move. While the fact that the FDA has declared CBD ‘beneficial’ is certainly noteworthy, there could be other moves at play as well.

Callahan says the move by the FDA might be a result of one pharmaceutical company’s attempt to use the FDA to control the nation’s supply of CBD isolate. That company is called GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH).

Callahan says GWPH has been rumored to be working with the FDA to retain exclusive control over all the country’s supply of CBD isolate, the purest form of CBD. If that happens, GWPH will be able to take the isolate and craft pharmaceutical-grade prescription pills to be prescribed by a physician for the illnesses which it can treat. In other words, Big Pharma may be making a power-play to take over the supply chain of CBD and using the FDA, the WHO, and the UN to do it.

John says anyone and everyone who can comment about the usefulness of CBD should immediately do so. All of our TFTP readers should express their position about CBD and insist that it be free for anyone and everyone to purchase on the open market.

Because of its incredible track record, saving the lives of countless children, there is no harm in allowing free thinking individuals to decide for themselves if they want to use the naturally-produced substance directly derived from the Hemp plant.

As an aside, GWPH is one of the only pharmaceutical companies in the world offering two branded drugs derived from THC, Sativex and Epidiolex. Both drugs are sold in pharmacies all over the world, but GWPH has yet to receive FDA approval for its drugs to be sold in the US.

American Media Silent After UN Just Called for Decriminalizing Drug Use Worldwide

drug

A little-noticed public statement issued by the United Nations last week contains a dramatic shift in thinking on the issue of “illicit” substance use. After recommitting to the failed idea of prohibition just last year, the UN is now calling for the worldwide decriminalization of drug use and possession.

The statement, put out by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the U.S. is in the midst of another political debate over health care, calls for “ending discrimination in health care settings.” The WHO calls on states to end discrimination against “marginalized and stigmatized populations” in a variety of ways, and includes a blunt and rather shocking statement on the drug war.

We, the signatory United Nations entities, call upon all stakeholders to join us in committing to taking targeted, coordinated, time-bound, multisectoral actions in the following areas. Supporting States to put in place guarantees against discrimination in law, policies, and regulations by… Reviewing and repealing punitive laws that have been proven to have negative health outcomes and that counter established public health evidence. These include laws that criminalize or otherwise prohibit…drug use or possession of drugs for personal use.

This is an admission that the problem of drug abuse is a public health issue, not a criminal justice issue. Locking people in cages for the victimless behavior of ingesting substances arbitrarily deemed illegal by the State does nothing to reduce drug use or supply, as evidenced by the utter failure of the War on Drugs.

Prohibition has also denied people the miraculous healing powers of cannabis. For decades medical research of cannabis was stifled by a drug war borne of racism and political suppression. But research has increased exponentially in recent years as governments around the world take steps to decriminalize this medicinal plant, notably among states in the U.S.

READ MORE:  DEA Agent Speaks Out: We Were Told Not to Enforce Drug Laws In Rich Communities

With this awakening has come amazing stories of healing through cannabis, such as stopping seizures in children with debilitating epilepsy, treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in veterans where all other treatments have failed, and healing a host of other illnesses without the dangerous side-effects of pharmaceutical drugs.

In terms of health care, prohibition is truly discriminatory, and the drug war only degrades public health. Portugal decriminalized all drugs in 2001, and it has been a resounding success. Drug usage rates, addiction rates, overdose deaths and sexually transmitted diseases have all declined.

The WHO statement is also notable because it contradicts the UN’s reaffirmed support of prohibition during their 2016 “special session on drugs.” The special session was the first to be held in almost two decades, and many were expecting a softened approach from the failed war on drugs.

Despite the pleas of countries like Mexico—suffering from horrendous black market drug violence—to “move beyond prohibition,” a prohibition framework remained in place. In the UN’s 1998 ‘special session on drugs’ the world body agreed to work toward a “drug free world” by 1998. The sheer lunacy of this position is blatantly obvious now more than ever. Despite decades of prohibition and trillions of dollars spent, drugs remain easily accessible.

The WHO statement comes at a time when the U.S. drug war is in a pivotal moment. More and more U.S. states are decriminalizing cannabis at both the medicinal and recreational level, putting themselves at odds with the ongoing federal prohibition of cannabis as a Schedule 1 narcotic. U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a well-known rabid prohibitionist, is taking steps to ramp up the drug war, calling for increased police measures and prison sentences—even though this approach is proven as a failure.

There is little hope that Sessions and other drug warriors around the world—such as Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte who is now having his police forces murder drug users on the spot—will pay any attention to the WHO call for decriminalization.

Nevertheless, the WHO statement is an encouraging sign that the tide has turned against prohibition. As the drug war is dismantled piece by piece—in Portugal, U.S. states, Mexico (which recently legalized medical cannabis) and Canada (soon to legalize recreational cannabis)—the wisdom of ending prohibition will become ever more obvious.

Cholera Hits Yemen

Cholera Hits Yemen | yemen-boy | World Health Organization World News (image: REUTERS/Khaled Abdullah)

During conflict-free times, Yemenis are the region’s poorest people, struggling daily to get by.

Since Bush/Cheney launched drone war on the country, continued by Obama and Trump, hugely exacerbated by US/Saudi terror war and blockade, a humanitarian catastrophe unequaled anywhere else exists, potentially millions of Yemenis at risk of perishing if things aren’t resolved.

And now cholera, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). It’s an infection of the small intestine, caused by contaminated food or water.

Symptoms include uncontrolled watery diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, rapid heart rate, and abdominal cramps, among others. Untreated severe cases can cause death.

In recent weeks according to the WHO, at least dozens of Yemenis perished from the disease. Over 2,700 suspected cases occurred – perhaps many more cholera-related deaths and illnesses than known or officially reported.

Terror-bombing, including on hospitals and medical clinics, as well as blockade prevents the availability of medical supplies, equipment and proper treatment for countless numbers of ill, injured, malnourished and starving Yemenis.

The WHO said it’s “distribut(ing) medicines and medical supplies, including cholera kits, oral rehydration solutions and intravenous (IV) fluids as well as medical furniture and equipment for diarrhoea treatment centres.”

“Ten new treatment centres are being established in affected areas. WHO is also supporting health authorities to establish oral rehydration therapy corners to treat mild and moderate dehydration due to diarrhoea.”

“Starting with 10 oral rehydration therapy corners in Sana’a, this approach will be replicated across all affected areas. More severe cases will be referred to the diarrhea treatment centres.”

Given daily Saudi terror-bombing and blockade, preventing enough food from reaching starving people, it’s unclear how effective WHO efforts can be, especially for a severely malnourished population, more vulnerable illness and disease.

Millions of Yemenis have poor or no access to medical treatment, unknown numbers likely perishing from various undiagnosed diseases and wounds sustained from war-related violence.

Yemen’s healthcare system is weak and inadequate. In many areas, proper sanitation is nonexistent. Pathogens causing cholera spread more easily in warm, rainy weather.

Last October, Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population announced the cholera outbreak. The WHO estimates around 7.6 million people live in areas with high risk of the disease’s occurrence and transmission.

According to its representative in Yemen Dr. Nevio Zagaria, “(w)e are very concerned with the re-emergence of cholera across several areas of Yemen in the past couple of weeks. Efforts must be scaled-up now to contain the outbreak and avoid a dramatic increase in cases of diarrhoeal disease.”

“WHO is in full emergency mode to contain the recent upsurge of suspected cholera cases. Containing the spread of the outbreak is a high priority for WHO, and we are coordinating efforts with all parties and with our health, water and sanitation partners to scale up an integrated and effective response to the cholera epidemic.”

Containing the outbreak is more a political than medical issue. As long as war and blockade continue, the ability to provide healthcare will be severely limited – largely unavailable for millions of Yemenis.

New Ebola epidemic declared

New Ebola threat emerges

(INTELLIHUB) — World Health Organization officials have declared a new Ebola epidemic in the Republic of Congo Friday after three people have died.

At least one of those three people were confirmed to have the deadly virus.

On Friday the W.H.O. tweeted: “On 11 May 2017, the Min of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo notified WHO & partners of a lab-confirmed case of .

Although the case was in a remote region, officials are taking the threat seriously which could ultimately lead to a full-scale worldwide pandemic.

How the Perfect Scenario For a Zika Virus Psyop Scare Is Slowly Evolving

How the Perfect Scenario For a Zika Virus Psyop Scare Is Slowly Evolving | zika-comeback | Mainstream Media Medical & Health Propaganda Sleuth Journal Special Interests World Health Organization World News

The Zika virus narrative concocted by first the medical “officials” in Brazil, the WHO (World Health Organization) and repeated by the mainstream media dating back to 2014 has taken many turns. All along, those pushing the Zika virus narrative have been faced with the dilemma of having to figure out how to overcome the real numbers told to us by doctors and researchers in Brazil and how to overcome the reality and history surrounding Zika virus in order to use the virus to accomplish their agenda and position themselves as saviors. They (the ruling elite who stand to gain from this operation) have been steadfast in their approach to the Zika virus mainstream narrative, consistently pushing the idea that the virus is confirmed by many subsequent “studies” to be related to the development of microcephaly (small brain).

So no one should be surprised that according to yet another round of CDC “studies” paid doctors and researchers on board with the CDC agenda are putting out statements directly opposite of what we know about the virus. So what DO we know? Author and vaccine researcher Jagannath Chatterjee summarizes the Zika story very well:

The world of modern medicine has since its inception been one of controversies, scandals and cover ups. Each such episode has bettered the other and is done with a finesse that appears clearly criminal in intent. The Zika virus episode is one of the best examples of this and hides a very cruel agenda behind it.

On February 1st 2016, the WHO declared the Zika virus epidemic a global public health emergency. This was even before it formally sat for a Skype meeting on February 2nd. What caused this urgency? The Zika virus, WHO claimed, had caused an epidemic of microcephaly in Brazilian children around 4000 of who had been affected since October 2015. Microcephaly is a condition where children are born with a small size of the skull and sometimes with under developed brains.

Experts cautioned that the virus was spreading fast and Latin America was threatened. Soon cases were reported from the USA, spread through sex, concretizing the official narrative on the “ferocious spread” of the virus. In the UK the public was reminded that the virus was only a plane ride away. Ireland advised condom use. Zika was also linked to a kind of paralysis called the Guillain Barre Syndrome, an auto-immune disorder where the body attacks its own nerve cells. The WHO put Zika in the same category as the Ebola; both belong to the same category of a virus family called Flavoviridae. The priority, it was said, was to protect pregnant women and babies from harm.

Even before this declaration by the WHO, on January 22nd the Government of Brazil had gone into an overdrive to contain the epidemic. The Health Minister requested women to avoid pregnancy, asked the pregnant women to report to doctors for a checkup, and employed 200,000 soldiers in a fumigation drive to kill mosquitoes. Pregnant women were heart broken in the country. Many considered aborting and some even went ahead and conducted illegal abortions, as abortions are not legal in the country. The media was flush with news and every TV channel and print media highlighted this global crisis. Experts suggested that genetically modified mosquitoes used against the dengue carrying mosquitoes in Brazil should also be used against Zika as the vector, the Aedes aegypti variety was the same.

In a public health debate on France 24 TV channel on 26th January however the experts were cautious. Through their body language and careful choice of words they opined that the epidemic was perhaps not so serious. Brazil was probably overreacting to the crisis as it was hosting the Olympics in August 2016 and also the Paralympics in September. Clearly it had to show action on the ground to prove that strong steps were being taken to curb the epidemic. As they became more and more uncomfortable dealing with the subject of the interview, the Zika virus, the anchor had to wonder if this was another swine flu scare that had led to vaccine stockpiling worldwide and that had to be destroyed later leading to huge losses to Governments and profits to the manufacturer. An expert then conceded that common sense measures at the point of origin were usually enough to contain the spread of vector borne diseases.

Even as the hysteria mounted and the Health Minister of India called an extraordinary meeting to discuss India’s response to the public health emergency and the WHO predicted a global disease burden of 4 million with outbreaks in 20 countries, crucial information began to emerge in the independent media that shocked well read and educated people throughout the world. There was something very wrong in the way the WHO, Governments, other medical agencies and the media was fanning the issue.

Notably, Chatterjee goes on to say that:

In the future we can expect the Zika to be blamed for more and more conditions as the mere presence of the virus is being linked to illnesses and conditions in the patient. This is like blaming the firefighters present in the fire scene for the fire as they are present whenever there is a fire! Called ‘correlation does not mean causation’, this principle is not being applied here for obvious reasons.

As the writer above so correctly points out, let’s remember that correlation is not the same as causation and the latest CDC claims being pushed by the mainstream media and being delivered to the email boxes of doctors across the nation is based on elaborate numbers that only reflect correlation, a very unscientific principle to base conclusions on. In fact, they are not even hiding that the scientific techniques only go as far as attempting to show correlation. From a purely scientific point of view this is entirely disingenuous and even laughable. Unfortunately, this is where the mainstream media and Hollywood step in with their propaganda, mockery of truth and celebrity mouthpieces designed to facilitate your ignorance about this major scientific flaw. Their job is to sell you the emotional argument and to shut off that part of your brain that would try to reason scientifically and logically. And unfortunately this strategy works nicely especially on the fantasy minded, imaginary reality based Liberal Left.

On another note, and on the domestic side of things we’ve been hearing about president Trump’s budget cuts for months now. Many federal agencies are feeling the sting. Others know the cuts are coming and their budgets will be slashed soon. So what is a federal agency involved in the globalist agenda to do? In the case of the CDC who plays a vital central role in emergency situations and response to public disease outbreaks, the best you can hope for is … a major disease outbreak! And while this logic may seem too simplistic, based on conspiratorial assumptions or even based on confirmation bias, anyone paying attention and who knows the history of the Zika virus endless narrative knows this suggestion is not an exaggeration at all. In fact, looking at how the medical-mainstream media-industrial complex is playing their cards, it appears this could be exactly what they are planning at some time in perhaps the not so distant future.

That would explain the latest claims being made by the CDC and repeated throughout the mainstream media. Once again they are persistently claiming (based on correlation based studies) that the numbers exist to prove a stronger relationship between birth defects and exposure to Zika virus. And I can’t help to keep wondering, why do they keep doing this??

There is no sound scientific method being applied to make an irrefutable evidence based case for Zika virus being the direct cause of birth defects and unfortunately very likely no one will call out the CDC for their lack of integrity and their undermining of the science. And perhaps that’s the point. Just like the “Russia influence the election” globalist ongoing propaganda you keep the narrative going regardless of the lack of evidence and the continue to march forward toward the next phase of the agenda. That next phase appears to be looming closer and that is the activation of some kind of epidemic “event” or “outbreak” surrounding their Rockefeller patented Zika virus that will potentially cause scare, panic and chaos. This new chaos, they hope, will instantly alter everyone’s perspective on the need for compliance with CDC regulations, will justify the enforcement of vaccines and will fatten the pockets of the CDC and whatever vaccine/big pharma company is involved in this Zika virus “solution” process.

If we’ve learned nothing else from this Trump presidency we know that when you threaten the plans of the ruling elite they will respond with their own plans and strategies. This is another important reminder that our battle for humanity and our battle to preserve America, freedom, the rule of law and the Constitution against the globalist is a real battle and it is continuous. For every action those of us take to resist their agenda there often is an equal and opposite reaction. Such is the nature of battle and for this reason the Zika virus remains a very real threat in the near future. Beware!

Solutions

Finally, more than ever people must embrace true natural medicine and see the pharmaceutical based allopathic medicine for what it truly is. It’s one big marketing front for the pharmaceutical companies. Many hard working and evidence-based doctors in the little known field of Functional Medicine are already aware of this and are implementing their own revolution within the medical field and this is truly one of the solutions. Information today is freely available and that includes medicine and healing related information. It’s time to turn OFF agencies like the CDC, the AMA and many other pharmaceutical interest based organizations that don’t have your health healing and happiness in mind. It’s time to become your own doctor and truly take control of your body and health by educating yourself so that if and when the controllers role out their next Zika virus or other scare you’ll know what to do. Remember, this is just one card that ruling elite are holding onto for future use so let’s educate as many people as possible so that we can become independent of their control. For if freedom means anything at all it must begin with the freedom to choose what goes into your body and that includes not only vaccines and pills but nutrition and methods of healing.
