‘Self-Restraint’ Is The Only Thing Between Armistice And Nuclear War With North Korea

kimjongunwar

It’s finally happened, Kim Jong-Un has had a successful ICBM (Intercontinental ballistic missile) test. Now that he’s actually improved his battle might, and has the capability to strike Alaska, he’s taunting the US president with nuclear war.

A top military official has warned “self-restraint” is the only thing stopping the US from going to war with North Korea. Soon after his successful missile test on the 4th of July, a defiant Kim Jong-Un seemingly taunted “American bas**rds” in the wake of said successful intercontinental ballistic missile test. Pyongyang claims its newly developed rocket can carry “large-sized and heavy nuclear warheads.”

The North Korean leader made the haughty statement, in which he said “the American bas**rds would not be very happy with this gift sent on the July 4 anniversary,” not long after the ICBM was launched Tuesday, the Korean Central News Agency reported.

The successful ICBM, which state media said had reached an altitude of 2,802 kilometers (1,741 miles), was its highest ever missile test, and most successful. State media in Pyongyang said North Korea now had the power to now strike the American mainland with a nuclear warhead.  Experts agree, and say that if the missile had been fired on a normal trajectory instead of at a high altitude, it would have reached about 6,000 kilometers, which is enough to put Alaska within range.

In a joint press statement issued by Russia and China, the two countries reiterated their call for North Korea to stop its missile and nuclear tests in exchange for the US and South Korea holding off on future large joint military drills.

However, within hours of the statement, the US and South Korea announced they indeed, had held a new ballistic missile drill to counter “North Korea’s destabilizing and unlawful actions.” “(The drills) showcased precision targeting of the enemy’s leadership in case of an emergency,” a South Korean Defense Ministry statement said.

Speaking out against Pyongyang on Wednesday, the top American general in South Korea issued an ominous warning of his own to Kim and his ilk north of the border. “Self-restraint, which is a choice, is all that separates armistice and war,” General Vincent Brooks said in a joint statement.  But this missile test is leaving the United States with few options, and the nation is split on how they intend to deal with the rogue nation’s new capabilities.

With a seemingly unavoidable war with North Korea on the horizon, joint drills only inch up tensions between the nations choosing to involve themselves.   Analysts told CNN there are very few good options for President Trump to deal with the North Korean threat. “A really difficult question will be whether Donald Trump feels like he’s (been) backed into a corner and doesn’t have options short of war,” Adam Mount, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, told CNN.

Operation Gotham Shield: U.S. gov’t to “simulate nuke blast over Manhattan” as actual war nears

A general alert is out for something major in the near or immediate future. Hopefully, it is just another false alarm, instead of another false flag. Either way, and danger is at hand.

Given all that is going on in the world, it is downright eerie to discover that the federal government is once again staging mock disasters that draw disturbing parallels with current world events.

In just a few days, during April 24-26th, Operation Gotham Shield will commence.

It is a tabletop, joint agency exercise involving FEMA, Homeland Security and a myriad of law enforcement and military agencies. WMD, chemical, and biological units will all be on hand as a response is tested for a “simulated” nuclear detonation over the United States’ foremost urban center, in the iconic and densely populated island of Manhattan and nearby shores of New Jersey.

The potential for a more explosive false flag to spin out of control, by hijacking and ‘converting’ the simulated actions, is all too real.

This is closely related to the mechanism that many researchers believe was at work on the day of 9/11, nesting a false flag attack inside of a series of large-scale training operations which invoked emergency powers and simulated attacks in locations that were actually hit.

According to the Voice of Reason:

On April 18th thru May 5th, 2017, state, local, and federal organizations alike are planning for Operation Gotham Shield 2017 — a major nuclear detonation drill in the New York-New Jersey area, along with the U.S.-Canadian border. During this exercise, 4 nuclear devices, 2 of which are rendered “safe” during the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Vital Archer Exercise, and one successful 10kt detonation in the NYC/NJ area, along with one smaller detonation on the U.S./Canadian border are to take place.

Among the organizations involved are:

– U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

– U.S. Department of Defense (DOD)

– U.S. Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO)

– U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

– U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

– U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM)

– State of New Jersey Office of Emergency Management

– State of New York Office of Emergency Management

– City of New York Office of Emergency Management

The following document comes form The Nevada National Security Service. Their primary role with the government is to help ensure the security of the United States and its allies by supporting the stewardship of the nuclear deterrent, providing emergency response capability and training, and contributing to key nonproliferation and arms control initiatives.

Will anything catastrophic happen during or after that window of time? Will North Korea really attack the U.S. mainland? Will someone else do so, and blame their overseas enemies?

No one who knows the answers to these questions is willing to talk. For now, all we can do is watch, wait and listen.

Don’t jump to fear and speculation, but don’t lie down or look away either.

These will be trying times.

China Just Issued a Nuclear Warning to Donald Trump and the United States

January 24, 2017   |   James Holbrooks

(ANTIMEDIA) Beijing — Following comments made by White House spokesman Sean Spicer on Monday in which he said the United States would absolutely protect its interests in the South China Sea, the Asian superpower has fired back through its state-run media — going so far as to suggest China should beef up its nuclear arsenal in the face of Donald Trump’s presidency.

As reported by the newswire service Agence-France Presse (AFP) on Tuesday, “In recent days, Chinese social media has carried pictures purporting to show an advanced intercontinental ballistic missile system deployed in the Northeast.”

That missile system, the Dongfeng-41, was described by China’s state-run Global Times in a Tuesday editorial as “a nuclear solid-fuel road-mobile” system with “a range of 14,000 kilometers and a payload of 10-12 nuclear warheads” that can “target anywhere in the world” and is “widely considered one the most advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles.”

As AFP notes, the Times itself suggested the images of the Dongfeng-41 may have been leaked to social media by the Chinese military, the People’s Liberation Army, as a warning shot at Donald Trump.

On Monday, White House spokesman Sean Spicer appeared to echo the line taken by Rex Tillerson, Trump’s choice for secretary of state. At his recent Senate confirmation hearing, Tillerson raised eyebrows when he suggested the United States should block China from accessing its artificial islands in the South China Sea.

Saying “The U.S. is going to make sure that we protect our interests there,” Spencer went on to state:

“It’s a question of if those islands are in international waters and not part of China proper, then yeah, we’re going to make sure that we defend international territories from being taken over by one country.”

In response, China’s foreign ministry gave a statement in which it reiterated its unchanging position on its claims of sovereignty. Calling those claims “irrefutable,” spokeswoman Hua Chunying said “the United States is not a party to the South China Sea dispute” and that China wants the U.S. to “respect the facts, speak and act cautiously to avoid harming the peace and stability of the South China Sea.”

Meanwhile, the nation’s state-run media was suggesting it was time to strengthen its nuclear capacity.

However the images of the Dongfeng-41 system were obtained, China certainly isn’t backing away from the opportunity to flaunt its military might, and the Times editorial — as more and more are beginning to do — is very plain and unapologetic in its wording.

Stating the U.S. has “not paid enough respect to the Chinese military,” the piece further suggested that:

“China’s nuclear capability should be so strong that no country would dare launch a military showdown with China under any circumstance, and such that China can strike back against those militarily provoking it. A military clash with the US is the last thing China wants, but China’s nuclear arsenal should be able to deter the US.”
