Trump Administration Ends Immigration Protections For Haitians Displaced By 2010 Earthquake

In a decision that was widely anticipated, the Trump administration has decided to end immigration protections for Haitians who migrated to the US following a devastating earthquake that laid waste to Haiti back in 2010.
Now, the 50,000 Haitians still living in the US under the protections have 18 months to leave, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

As the Washington Post pointed out, the decision was made to appease immigration hard-liners who insist the program was never intended to grant permanent residency to Haitians who were displaced by the quake.

Per the Los Angeles Times, back in May, John F. Kelly, who was DHS secretary at the time, said that conditions in Haiti had improved enough that the US would be unlikely to continue extending the temporary protection. At the time, he extended Haitians’ protected status for six months, but urged them to prepare to leave the US

Unsurprisingly, many heeded this warning. Following Trump’s upset victory in last year’s election, thousands of Haitians started crossing into Quebec, where they requested asylum. Indeed, the wave of migrants into Canada since the election has strained Canadian public services to the limit and bogged down the country’s system for approving asylum requests, leaving many in an uncomfortable legal limbo. In the meantime, hundreds of Haitians are living in makeshift shelters in Montreal, and elsewhere in the province.

Acting Homeland Security Secretary Elaine C. Duke reaffirmed that decision Monday, but provided an 18-month delay, until July 22, 2019, before the order to leave will become effective. Some of the Haitians currently covered by temporary status will be able to stay if they have other claims for legal immigration status, administration officials said.

An estimated 3 million Haitians were affected by the 2010 quake, which had its epicenter near the town of Leogane. Death toll estimates ranged from 100,000 to 160,000.

Red Cross Admits It Doesn't Know How Hurricane Harvey Donation Money Is Spent

Though the Red Cross has a historical reputation for providing relief to victims of natural disasters and other emergencies, the organization’s practices have tarnished its name over the last few years.

Amid the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti in 2010, the Red Cross reportedly accepted nearly $500 million in relief money but built only six homes with the funds even though they claimed they had provided homes to 130,000 people. These failures prompted some Haitians to advise the world against donating funds to the Red Cross.

The organization was accused of diverting resources and supplies to bolster its public image during Hurricane Sandy. As an investigation by NPR and ProPublica found:

“The Red Cross national headquarters in Washington ‘diverted assets for public relations purposes.’  

A former Red Cross official managing the Sandy effort says 40 percent of available trucks were assigned to serve as backdrops for news conferences.”

The outlets reported that “[d]istribution of relief was ‘politically driven instead of [Red Cross] planned,’” noting many organizational failures.

Further, a report released last year by Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley found that 25% of funds donated to aid in relief for victims of the earthquake was actually spent on internal costs. That amounted to roughly $124 million.

Now, amid the hurricane in Texas, the Red Cross is admitting it currently doesn’t know how the funds it’s receiving are being spent.

NPR’s Morning Edition interviewed Red Cross executive Brad Kieserman to ask how the funds will be distributed.  Kieserman said that as of Wednesday morning, “had spent $50 million on Harvey relief, mainly on 232 shelters for 66,000 people.”

“Through donations, how much of every dollar goes to relief?” NPR’s Ailsa Chang asked him.

But he responded without actually providing an answer to her question:

“Yeah, I don’t think I know the answer to that any better than the chief fundraiser knows how many, how much it costs to put a volunteer downrange for a week and how many emergency response vehicles I have on the road today. So I think if he was on this interview and you were asking how many relief vehicles in Texas, I don’t think he’d know the answer and I don’t know the answer to the financial question I’m afraid.”

She pressed him about the Red Cross’ previous failures and misallocation of resources. According to NPR’s transcript:

“Is that still happening? Such a substantial percentage of donations going to internal administrative costs, rather than to relief?

“Kieserman: It’s not something I would have any visibility on. I can talk about what it costs to deliver certain relief services.

“Chang: Yeah.

“Kieserman: But the way the internal revenue stream works, uhh …

“Chang: You don’t know what portion of that amount.

“Kieserman: Not really.

“Chang: You don’t know what portion of that total amount is for relief.

“Kieserman: No, I really don’t. I wish I could answer your question, but it’s not something I have visibility on in the role that I play in this organization.

The executive ultimately claimed that “The folks I work for are very, very attentive to cost effectiveness and cost efficiencies in making sure that as much as every dollar that we spend on an operation is client-facing.”

Slate reporter Jonathan Katz also reported the organization declined to disclose how much money they had spent or raised so far. Katz ultimately urged readers not to contribute to the Red Cross.

The Red Cross continues to face criticism and urgings for individuals who want to help to take their donations elsewhere. The Independent reports that over the weekend, Dan Gillmor, author and professor at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, advised against donating to the Red Cross. Many other social media users have expressed similar sentiments.

Despite the Red Cross’ failings, however, there are still many organizations doing important work.

The group A Just Harvey Recovery lists a number of local efforts accepting contributions. The Cajun Navy, a volunteer effort that previously rescued victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Louisiana floods last year, has also been working round the clock in Texas and is accepting donations. There are many organizations and shelters working locally to provide relief and essential services. The circumstances surrounding Eberwein’s death are also nothing less than unpalatable. According to Miami-Dade’s medical examiner records supervisor, the official cause of death is “gunshot to the head.“ Eberwein’s death has been registered as “suicide” by the government. But not long before his death, he acknowledged that his life was in danger because he was outspoken on the criminal activities of the Clinton Foundation. 

Eberwein was a fierce critic of the Clinton Foundation’s activities in the Caribbean island, where he served as director general of the government’s economic development agency, Fonds d’assistance économique et social, for three years. “The Clinton Foundation, they are criminals, they are thieves, they are liars, they are a disgrace,” Eberwein said at a protest outside the Clinton Foundation headquarters in Manhattan last year. Eberwein was due to appear on Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission where he was widely expected to testify that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated Haiti earthquake donations from international donors. But this “suicide” gets even more disturbing…

UN Child Sex Ring Left Victims But No Arrests

The men who came from a far-away place and spoke a strange language offered the Haitian children cookies and other snacks. Sometimes they gave them a few dollars. But the price was high: The Sri Lankan peacekeepers wanted sex from girls and boys as young as 12.

“I did not even have breasts,” said a girl, known as V01 — Victim No. 1. She told U.N. investigators that over the next three years, from ages 12 to 15, she had sex with nearly 50 peacekeepers, including a “Commandant” who gave her 75 cents. Sometimes she slept in U.N. trucks on the base next to the decaying resort, whose once-glamorous buildings were being overtaken by jungle.

Justice for victims like V01 is rare. An Associated Press investigation of U.N. missions during the past 12 years found nearly 2,000 allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and other personnel around the world — signaling the crisis is much larger than previously known. More than 300 of the allegations involved children, the AP found, but only a fraction of the alleged perpetrators served jail time.

UN Peacekeepers Caught Running Massive Child Sex Ring — Not One Person Jailed

In a blow to victims of human trafficking worldwide, a massive child sex ring was exposed in Haiti — involving international ‘peacekeepers’ with the United Nations as well as other high-level officials from around the world — and no one is going to jail.

For years, UN peacekeepers, their high-level commanders, and other ‘personnel’ from around the globe came to Haiti for sex with boys and girls as young as 12.

“I did not even have breasts,” said a girl, known as V01 — Victim No, according to a report out of the Associated Press.

After Haiti’s downfall from a tropical paradise resort destination, hundreds of children were left homeless and many of them without parents. This easy prey then attracted the world’s most vile predators.

More than 300 children have come forward in the last decade with these claims and only a tiny fraction of those accused have ever faced any form of accountability.

One of the reasons these sickos aren’t charged is because when it comes to keeping its peacekeepers in check, the UN passes the buck. So, as reports of sexual abuse and child exploitation pour in to the UN (2,000 over just the last 12 years), the countries sending troops either remain ignorant or deliberately refuse to hold these people accountable.

As the Free Thought Project reported earlier this year, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric explained how they pass the buck in situations like this.

“So obviously we’ll keep an eye on this. But as we’ve said, it is the responsibility of member states to fully investigate and hopefully prosecute crimes. The fight against impunity for these horrendous actions has to be a partnership between the UN and member states,” Dujarric said.

Given the nature of child sex trafficking and its ties to the elite, it is likely that these countries are covering it up as any investigation into these crimes would possibly expose those in positions of power.

According to the report in the AP:

The AP interviewed alleged victims, current and former U.N. officials and investigators and sought answers from 23 countries on the number of peacekeepers who faced such allegations and, what if anything, was done to investigate. With rare exceptions, few nations responded to repeated requests, while the names of those found guilty are kept confidential, making accountability impossible to determine.

The problem of sexual abuse and child exploitation among UN peacekeepers and their leaders has become so rampant that U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was forced to address it last month.

“Let us declare in one voice: We will not tolerate anyone committing or condoning sexual exploitation and abuse. We will not let anyone cover up these crimes with the U.N. flag,” Guterres said.

However, as the AP points out, these words mean very little given the sheer length of the abuse and the same rhetoric being used repeatedly by the UN.

More than a decade ago, the United Nations commissioned a report that promised to do much the same thing, yet most of the reforms never materialized.

For a full two years after those promises were made, the children in Haiti were passed around from soldier to soldier. And in the years since, peacekeepers have been accused of sexual abuse the world over.

In one particularly grim case in Haiti, a teenage boy said he was gang-raped in 2011 by Uruguayan peacekeepers who filmed the alleged assault on a cellphone. Dozens of Haitian women also say they were raped, and dozens more had what is euphemistically called “survival sex” in a country where most people live on less than $2.50 a day, the AP found.

Mario Joseph, a Haitian lawyer is attempting to change this paradigm. For the past few years, Joseph has fought to get compensation for victims a deadly cholera strain linked to Nepalese peacekeepers that killed an estimated 10,000 people, according to the AP.

Now, he’s taken on the case of the Haitian child sex ring.

“Imagine if the U.N. was going to the United States and raping children and bringing cholera,” Joseph said in Port-au-Prince. “Human rights aren’t just for rich white people.”

U.S. Sen. Bob Corker is also attempting to force accountability among the UN.

“If I heard that a U.N. peacekeeping mission was coming near my home in Chattanooga,” he told AP, “I’d be on the first plane out of here to go back and protect my family.”

Peter Gallo, a former U.N. investigator familiar with the case, explained to the AP how the system is setup in such a way that it seemingly facilitates this abuse.

“It’s an indictment of how the whole U.N. system works,” Gallo told the AP.

In spite of the rampant and unchecked child rape, the United Nations maintains that they are still contributing to the stability in the region.

“I would not say we have achieved everything we set out to do, but we are engaged in a process of continuous improvement that any harmful effect on the local populations could be minimized, if not completely eradicated,” Atul Khare, the U.N.’s head of field support which oversees the conduct and discipline of peacekeepers, said.

However, the locals — who’ve endured nearly a decade of hell at the hands of the organization whose mission is ostensible peace — aren’t buying it.

“I’d like to see my attacker face to face and tell him how he has destroyed my life,” said 21-year-old Melida Joseph who was raped by a UN Peacekeeper. “They’ll look at this as one big joke,” she said. “As far as the U.N. goes, they came here to protect us, but all they’ve brought is destruction.”

Haiti Destroyed With Hurricane Weeks After Former Senate President Exposes Clinton Foundation … Hmm (VIDEO)

It was only a few weeks ago when a video surfaced showing former Haitian Senate president Bernard Sansaricq delivering a blistering message to Donald Trump, exposing the Clinton Foundation and explaining how the Clintons tried to bribe him in the early 1990’s when he was Senate president of Haiti. Sansaricq goes on to describe how the massive 2010 earthquake in Haiti was used to steal millions of dollars from Haiti. He even goes on to describe how Clinton (CIA) drug dealing was another way to destroy and steal from Haiti. All of these accusations were very serious. Potentially serious enough to destroy the Clinton presidential run.

At the time this was just one more storm for Hillary who has been hit with every possible obstacle, yet thanks to her status, which seems to be well above the law as FBI’s James Comey has proven, she has managed to not only stay out of jail but somehow also prolong the life of her campaign.

She hasn’t done it alone, however. Not only did FBI’s James Comey allow Hillary to get away with breaking the law under the concept of “intent” but the mainstream media and the Democratic party have together contributed to Hillary’s ability to still be running for president instead of sitting behind bars. The Hillary camp has also resorted to other tactics such as ignoring the accusations leveraged against Hillary, murdering those who present a threat to Hillary, pushing out more propaganda and lies and staying on the offensive attacking, creating and instigating division, distrust and hatred amongst Americans to keep everyone’s minds occupied.

So there’s no doubt the Clinton camp and the western cabal were not very happy about this very credible and very public former Haitian Senate president and his very damning recent statements blowing the lid open on the criminal Clinton Foundation.

Fast forward to just a few weeks later and all of a sudden Haiti is destroyed by “Hurricane Mathew”, a hurricane which ripped through Haiti this past week and has devastated Haiti while the western mass media hardly pays attention. Coincidence? Wild crazy conspiracy theory? Cold calculated obvious attack by a vicious gang of thugs who are determined to murder all their enemies in their path? You decide.

The horrific damage from the hurricane and the catastrophic destruction of life is described by Washington Post.

But the sounds Monday night were tremendous, like roaring engines. The winds uprooted towering palm trees and hurled them into the cinder-block shacks all around her. Coconuts landed like cannonballs.

Haitians all along the southern coast are now reckoning with the extraordinary toll of that night, destruction on a scale none had ever seen. Along the southern peninsula that was largely spared from the devastating 2010 earthquake, Hurricane Matthew landed a ferocious blow, damaging or smashing thousands of homes, schools and churches, razing trees and crops, and sweeping away farm animals.

Hurricane Matthew has killed at least 300 people in Haiti, according to the national government, but the figure was sure to rise as aid teams reached areas cut off by washed-out bridges or fallen trees. A Reuters tally from local and national officials put the death count at more than 800. The town of Chantal and its surroundings are among the worst hit, with 106 confirmed dead.

U.N. officials have called the hurricane the country’s worst humanitarian crisis since the 2010 earthquake, which killed about 200,000 people.

Residents said people died after being struck by falling trees or collapsing roofs. Others disappeared in the floodwaters.

“This is killing us,” said Fedna, weeping quietly. “There is nothing left to live on. Our trees and our crops are gone.”

This brings us to the issue of geoengineering programs and the control of the weather which has been ongoing for many decades. Here’s what we know about these programs. We know that they exist because today we can easily look up and see them spraying our once very clear and very blue skies. The many patents owned by the United States government for the act of dispersing mixed chemicals into our skies only serve to confirm the motive of what we already know since patents functionally protect exclusive profits for the patent owner. We know the Air Force has a training manual addressing the topic of chemicals and the science of chemical dispersing. And this is almost as shocking as this list of topics covered at the 29th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology demonstrating that hurricanes are indeed engineered. The process of chemical injection into the atmosphere has been exposed by whistleblowers and has even been admitted by our own politicians then included in the Space Preservation Act of 2001. And these government documents describe in details techniques specifically for engineered weather modification for anyone still not convinced.

Putting aside all the atmospheric spraying proof and techniques and simply looking at what we know about weather manipulation as admitted even by the History channel, one can only wonder how coincidental it is that Haiti is getting destroyed by yet another “natural” catastrophic event which very likely was engineered. And one can only wonder how eerily similar this looks to a scenario like big brother beating her (Haiti) up and making her pay the price for not going along with the (Clinton corruption) program.

How about this for an eerie coincidence. In 2012 “hurricane Sandy” was engineered and steered through the northeastern United States just months before the “Sandy” Hook staged FEMA capstone psyop event. Just another coincident to throw into the mix

One thing we can be sure of is, if this latest hurricane is a deliberate weather wars attack on Haiti it wouldn’t be the first time that engineered natural disasters are suspected of being used against another nation state. And we should never cease in our suspicion of this level of intimidation and criminality.
