Secret aircraft travels pole-to-pole in seconds?

Could this 13,000-mile long contrail have been formed in a matter of seconds?

(INTELLIHUB) — Tyler from Secure Team recently posted a video to YouTube which reveals a 13,000-mile long contrail spanning from Antarctica to the north pole.

Interestingly enough, the contrail shows little to no side to side distortion from either and wind which begs the question: Was the trail formed in a matter of seconds or minutes?

You be the judge. Please comment below and share!

Reminder: Experts Have Been Warning Us About Global Warming Since the 1930s

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

I will not pretend to be a scientist in this blog, or even claim to know the very first thing about global warming or lack thereof. I am more interested in human narratives, how they are woven, and the basis from which they were formed. Just like in stocks, when listening to an analyst, I like to know the historical performance of his/her previous picks.

Now that we have a vert active hurricane season again, all of the self-made climatologists are out shilling for their global agendas. It"s all very convenient, reminiscent of sudden calls for gun control following a mass murder.

Doing a cursory search of the NY Times archives, I found several articles warning Americans of the perils of global warming, several dating back to the early 1930s.

In the article below, dated May 15th, 1932, the NY Times cites scientific research that said the center of Greenland was ~9,000 ft thick and the edges ~4,000.

Today, according to a report out by experts...

...1,000m or 3,200 ft around the edges and 2,500m at the center or 8,200ft, roughly a 10% reduction from 75 years ago. Bear in mind, the instruments used to measure the thickness of the ice was rudimentary at best, back in 1932, so there must be some margin for error. Having said that, given the frantic panic, this is hardly a rate of change worthy of panic.

Here are some other articles from yesteryear.

Circa 1933, NY Times

Lastly, back in 1984, there were some skeptics -- those who called out the global warming panickers of the 1960s and instead claimed that that ice sheets were instead getting ticker.

EXPERTS QUESTION SEA-RISE THEORY

Specialists in polar ice caps have expressed doubts about a rise in sea level that has been predicted as a consequence of the expected warming of world climates.

Some experts, in fact, now suspect that the sea level may fall.

Two reports on probable climate change were issued last October, one by the National Academy of Sciences and the other by the Environmental Protection Agency. Both suggested there would be substantial rises in worldwide sea levels if, as suspected, there was a rise of several degrees in global temperatures.

Such a rise would be caused by the effects of carbon dioxide delivered to the atmosphere by steadily increasing combustion of fuels. That gas absorbs infrared heat radiation from the earth instead of allowing it to escape into space, acting somewhat like the glass in a greenhouse.

Scientists at the environmental agency suggested that heating of polar latitudes would melt enough ice to raise sea levels four to seven feet by the year 2100. The academy report said a less radical rise of two feet was ""likely"" in the next century, but added, ""More rapid rates could occur subsequently if the West Antarctic ice sheet should begin to disintegrate."" Forecasts Are Challenged

These predictions were challenged last week at the latest in a series of seminars on global habitability being held at Columbia University. It brought together Government and academic specialists to discuss the future of the Antarctic ice sheet.

In the past there have been far more ominous predictions regarding that ice sheet than those suggested in last October"s reports. In 1964 it was proposed that virtually the entire ice cap at the bottom of the world sometimes slips into the sea, raising global sea levels more than 200 feet, enough to flood many coastal lands and cities.

Such dramatic predictions fell out of fashion, and attention focused on the ice covering West Antarctica, that part of the continent south of the Americas. As pointed out at the Columbia seminar by Dr. George H. Denton of the University of Maine, an authority on the ice of West Antarctica, much of it rests on land thousands of feet below sea level.

Because such ice readily breaks off into icebergs it is thought to be more vulnerable to discharge than continental ice. Since it is a mile or more thick, its entry into the oceans would raise sea levels several feet.

It has been widely assumed that, between the last two ice ages, some 125,000 years ago, the climate was hotter than it is now and sea levels were 10 or 20 feet higher. Coral reefs formed in that period on some oceanic islands suggest such a high stand of the sea. These two lines of evidence were taken to mean that the West Antarctic ice dispersed into the oceans in that period. Past Assumptions Are Questioned

New evidence, however, questions both arguments, Dr. Denton said. While sea floor sediment in the North Atlantic suggests it was unusually warm there, it is beginning to appear the climate of the Southern Hemisphere was much like that of today. The coral reefs may be high, he added, not because the oceans were high but because the islands have risen.

Likewise the response to greater warmth is difficult to predict, Dr. Denton said. More moisture may be carried to the Antarctic hinterland, increasing snowfall there and the Antarctic ice ""may even expand,"" he said.

The Antarctica"s interior is so high and cold there is virtually no melting and some scientists believe there would not be much, even if the climate warms. The critical area is along the coasts, where ice discharges as icebergs.

As pointed out by Dr. Arnold Gordon of Columbia"s Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory, the behavior of the ocean along the coast may be a controlling influence. A change in oceanic circulation in response to warming of the atmosphere could, for example, alter the extent to which deep water wells upward along the rim of Antarctica and beneath its coastal ice shelves.

The two shelves through which most West Antarctic ice reaches the sea are considered keys to the fate of that region"s ice cover. They are the Ross Ice Shelf on the Pacific side and the Filchner and Ronne ice shelves facing the Weddell Sea on the Atlantic side. Each shelf is fed by broad ice streams flowing from the hinterland.

The shelves are thought to hold back the flow of ice and there has therefore been concern that they might be unstable. As stated by Dr. Robert H. Thomas, manager of the polar oceans program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the conclusion seems ""unambiguous"" that, if the shelves go to sea, the ice of West Antarctica ""will collapse.""

The seaward edge of the shelves breaks off into icebergs. Should this process accelerate, specialists believe it could drain much of the ice from West Antarctica in a matter of centuries. Hence, in the last few years, there have been extensive studies of the ice cover.

Dr. Ian M. Whillans of the Institute of Polar Studies at Ohio State University said these studies had revealed no ""dramatic"" changes either in West Antarctica or on the Ross Ice Shelf. He cited various ""catastrophic hypothesis"" regarding that ice and added, ""Perhaps we should also consider the possibility that it is stable.""

There appeared to be a consensus that too little was known about the factors controlling growth and shrinkage of the ice sheet to predict its response to warming. ""The more ingredients you put into a cake,"" said Dr. Thomas, ""the more ambiguous it gets.""

I wonder what experts will be writing about 75 years hence.

Who will Claim the “Green” Antarctica?

Who will Claim the “Green” Antarctica? | green-antarctica | Environment Global Warming Fraud Sleuth Journal Special Interests World News (image: Matt Amesbury, University of Exeter/Flickr)

So-called global warming is not all that climate alarmists want you to think it is. The threats of rising oceans and rapidly spreading disease that they alarmed us all with, is nothing else than their vision of the future, but not a realistic one.

One example of such unfounded alarmism is the melting of antarctic ice caps, which is happening not due to man-made warming but geothermal sources that lie beneath Antarctic Glaciers.

Regardless of whether warming is taking place or not, and most valid science says it is not, great opportunities will come about with a warmer planet. A simple and straight forward example is the greening of areas that are now fully covered with ice.

In Antarctica, the temperatures of the last decades are changing the appearance of the surface and creating spaces covered of green in the temperate territories.

Mosses, now visible in high concentrations during the austral summer months, are also the most characteristic, but there are also many lichens, some terrestrial algae, fungi, and the only two flower plants native to the continent: Antarctic grass and the Antarctic carnation.

All these species resist in lethargy the long winter and soon they are able to regrow with force in the territories that in the summer are clear of ice. “In a few years the differences are obvious,” says Juan Kratzmaier, an adventurer, photographer and tour guide with long experience in Antarctica.

A recent study by researchers at the British universities in Exeter and Cambridge, as well as the British Antarctic Survey, has quantified the vegetative growth of mosses in the islands of the Antarctic peninsula, which has accelerated in the last 50 years and has also been multiplied the territory covered by these bryophyte plants during the summer months.

The scientists took five moss samples from three different sites to analyze the changes in their growth over the last 150 years and observed that the growth rate has changed markedly since 1960.

In addition to aesthetic issues, mosses are of paramount importance in the ecosystem because, among other things, they prepare the substrate to be used by higher plants such as Antarctic grass.

Specifically, according to British researchers, mosses that previously grew less than a millimeter per year now makes it more than three millimeters. As a result, there is now between four and five times more mosses in summer than 50 years ago.

The new mosses, scientists add, form a kind of protective upper layer that then favors the conservation of the lower layers. “People rightly think Antarctica is a very cold place, but our work shows that some of its areas are green, with the potential for them to become greener,” one of the authors of the paper wrote in a statement.

The presence of green in Antarctica remains a testimonial. “However, if summers get longer and there is more and more land without ice, there is no doubt that mosses and other species can colonize more areas,” says marine biologist Marta Estrada of the Institute of Marine Sciences of Barcelona.

“This year, the ice withdrew very soon on Livingston Island. At the end of November there were free spaces,” says María José Clemente, a researcher at the University of the Balearic Islands, who was in the zone during the last Spanish campaign with the team of Jaume Flexas. “What is most noticeable is the retreat of the glaciers,” insists Kratzmaier.

The decline of perpetual ice, however, is only visible in the Antarctic peninsula and adjacent islands, the fate of most scientists and tourist cruisers.

In contrast to what happens on the continent, which remains isolated from heat, in this large portion of the earth, climate change is well documented, with annual temperatures increasing by 0.5 ° per decade, according to mainstream data.

“The peninsula is not only more northerly and temperatures are less rigorous, but it is constantly receiving a supply of wet winds essential for plants to thrive,” says Antoni Rosell, a professor at the UAB and the Institut de Ciència I Environmental Technologies (ICTA).

Although there are other areas with temperatures above zero in summer, plants will hardly grow there if they do not have water, he adds: “Antarctica is the driest continent and whatever little rain it gets it comes in the form of snow.”

Antarctica was once an ice-free and forest-covered territory, conclude the authors of Exeter and Cambridge. If the trend continues Antarctica will fall back into its previous geological appearance. It will be green and available for visiting, planting and living. This potential reality begs the question: Who will claim the “green” Antarctica?

The real secrets hidden in Antarctica: revealed

“There may be good reason for your curiosity if you have ever wondered about what is really going on at the southernmost continent… With so many myths and rumors flying around about the place lately, we decided to do a little research of our own into the claims… which turned into a whole lot of research… and what was going to be a 10-minute video turned into this.” — Truthstream Media/YouTube

Just As Predicted by Clairvoyant: “Antarctica Will Break Apart, Hidden Past Will Be Exposed”

antarctica1

Something enormous, epoch making, is happening in Antarctica.

Although the recent visits by heads of state and other high profile figures to Antarctica remain shrouded in mystery, but there are repeated suggestions that things are changing rapidly there – perhaps the pole shift is happening at a drastic rate – and something buried or hidden may have been discovered.

It is well known in conspiracy circles that the Nazi’s established a secret base in Neuschwabenland, Antarctica during WW2, and it apparently involved the UFO-type aircraft being secretly developed, though no one with any position authority has ever dared to confirm these developments in a major public way.

The U.S. launched a massive military operation after the war in Antarctica, led by Admiral Richard E. Byrd – and they were met with superior military force that ultimately repelled the American expedition. Massive secrets were suggested by the operational secrecy, the buried accounts and the unfinished business at the South Pole. The Russians, too, were involved in territorial disputes and expeditions, before international treaties brought quiet to the South Pole front.

With the recent melt, and cracking of the ice, which is expected to lead to the release of an iceberg the size of Delaware, there is reason to speculate about what we might find in the least explored and least understood land mass on the globe.

How far does that hidden history go?

Does it involve science fiction stories turned fact? Is there advanced technology, or evidence of ancient alien life present and unfrozen from the ice?

Because poles have historically shifted, Antarctica has not always been buried under a permanently-frozen wasteland, but if there was human civilization or alien contact at any point on the quiet continent, it was not during the current period of recorded human history… unless there is more to the underground world there than mankind has heretofore accepted.

Already, heated debate over the meaning of an apparent pyramid uncovered in Antarctica is raising some fascinating queries.

antarctic pyramid

What is downright strange about the whole intrigue and mystery surrounding Antarctica, is that clairvoyant Edgar Cayce seems to have predicted these massive changes in the earth:

“The earth will be broken up in many places. The early portion will see a change in the physical aspect of the west coast of America. There will appear open waters in the northern portions of Greenland.”

“There will be seen new lands of the Caribbean Sea. South America will be shaken from the uppermost portion to the end; and in the Antarctic off Tierra del Fuego will be land, and a strait with rushing waters.”

“When there is first the breaking up of some conditions in the South Sea and those as apparent as the sinking or rising of that which is almost opposite it, or in the Mediterranean, and the Aetna area, then we may know it has begun.

The planet is changing, and it could destroy life as we know it, or uncover truly unique aspects of the past.

Either way, your global warming and human climate change activity have nothing to do with it – these are planetary, geomagnetic events, impacted by changing conditions in the earth’s core, the intensity of cosmic radiation and solar events, and similar factors that either sustain life on the planet, or upend it.

One thing is clear, we know next to nothing about what is really happening on – and to – this piece of earth we call home.

Antarctic research lab threatened by 30-mile long crack on ice, vacated

crack snowGoddard Space Flight Museum/Flickr

ANTARCTICA (INTELLIHUB) — A 30-mile long crack that appeared on the ice has made researchers extremely nervous, prompting them to “vacate” their encampment entirely.

This will mark the first time in 60-years that the British research facility Halley VI will be shut down due to rapidly changing conditions on the ice shelf which have pinned in the facility between two massive fissures.

A massive new crack in the ice opened up all the way down to sea water for a 30-mile span. The average thickness of the ice in the area is estimated to be about 400 feet, which will allow the research team to eventually return and relocate the 8 detachable pods.

“[…] when the time comes the pods can be towed on their ski-like feet,” PBS News Hour’s Julia Griffin explained.

The team’s Director of Science David Vaughn said the facility feels like a “large ship on the ice, looking out across the vast expanse of essentially nothingness.”

Vaughn said that the two cracks have made the ice shelf as a whole “very unpredictable.”

“Maybe the ice shelf will go back to a new equilibrium in time, but at the moment we just can’t predict with any certainty how long that will take.”

The Big Thaw On Earth’s Hidden Mysteries? “Antarctica Ready To Give Up Secrets”

antarctic pyramid

This article was written by and originally published at SGTReport.com.

Editor’s Comment: There are a lot of wild, fantastical claims about what really goes on under the ice in Antarctica. But there is also a lot of documented strangeness concerning Nazi UFOs, U.S. admirals and a post-war fight for dominance of the South Pole.

Is it possible that this lonely continent has become strategically important not only for military reasons, but because an understanding in technology and science connects to the importance of the place itself on the planet? Many ancient sites on every continent have been proven to line up with the stars, the sun at winter solstice, etc., and many have also been connected to energetic lay line sites on the earth’s grid. Whether you chalk up this stuff to fantasy or just the unknown, there could be a powerful archaeological and technological importance to this vast unknown continent that may emerge as the ice cracks, and as explorers in the digital world of satellite imagery look for answers to questions long buried underneath.

Web Bot: Antarctica Ready To Give Up Secrets The Elite Can’t Hide

by SGT Report

Friends, time for a little woo. As web bot creator Clif High noted in his most recent wujo [clif high wujo January 12, 2017], our planet is undergoing major changes, including what Clif High believes is a pole shift.

Clif says that what’s happening in Antarctica is that the ice is sloughing off on one side and growing on the other, “This is how the poles actually shift the glacial mass over time.”

Here’s where it get fun.

According to Clif,

As the ice sloughs off of that part of Antarctica, it’s going to reveal all kinds of stuff that the powers that be would rather remain hidden. And they’re just going to have to deal with it. It just will be too large and too massive for any attempts to hide it. And so the point now is going to be to manage it.

And here’s where it gets really fun. How do you “manage it” when ancient civilizations, massive pyramids or crashed UFO’s are exposed?

As Joseph P. Farrell wrote recently, it seems the entire world’s power structure has become suddenly and extremely interested in Antarctica: ANTARCTICA, JOHN KERRY, PYRAMIDS, AND CONSPIRACY THEORIES

And although we don’t know exactly what the obsession with the frozen tundra down below is all about, many internet sleuths are coming up with some intriguing theories: Flash frozen advanced civilizations, inner earth entrances, and hidden UFO bases to name but a few.

In the interest of sharing one of the better ones, and one that seems to mirror exactly what Clif High has predicted:

As the ice sloughs off of that part of Antarctica, it’s going to reveal all kinds of stuff that the powers that be would rather remain hidden. And they’re just going to have to deal with it...

We invite you dear reader to open Google earth and enter these coordinates:

66°36’12.69″S, 99°43’12.44″E

What you are seeing is not documented, featured or explained in any known textbook or detailed on any publicly available map.  It appears to be an artificial domed “entrance/exit” high in the mountains. Who built it? What material is it constructed with?  What is its purpose?  Where does it lead?

Now enter these coordinates: 74°38’18.53″ S 164°31’48.53″ E and recall the words of Clif High:

It’s going to reveal all kinds of stuff that the powers that be would rather remain hidden.

I don’t know what’s going on in Antarctica, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that we are living in the most interesting time in human history.

The Ice Is Cracking in Antarctica. “Pyramids” Have Been Spotted. Is a Secret Past Emerging?

Pyramids in Antarctica

Image: Google Maps, 81°57’41.15″W 79°58’38.32″S

There are secrets in Antarctica. You can sense them from thousands of miles away.

And they are starting to come out.

A giant crack in the ice has freed an iceberg the size of a small U.S. state, and it will ignite the climate change/global warming debate; but this change will also offer unique perspective on the geological history that has never before been known. Ice is accumulating rapidly in one part of the continent, but melting in the other. According to Live Science:

Mysterious ‘Crater’ in Antarctica Has Ominous Cause:

A “crater” in Antarctica once thought to be the work of a meteorite impact is actually the result of ice melt, new research finds.

The hole, which is in the Roi Baudouin ice shelf in East Antarctica, is a collapsed lake — a cavity formed when a lake of meltwater drained — with a “moulin,” a nearly vertical drainage passage through the ice, beneath it, researchers found on a field trip to the area in January 2016.

“That was a huge surprise,” Stef Lhermitte, an earth science researcher at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and at the University of Leuven in Belgium, said in a statement. “Moulins typically are observed on Greenland. And we definitely never see them on an ice shelf.”

But it is evident that something is up in the South Pole, and climate change alone can’t explain it.

Though they are restricting what can be accessed, UAVs and satellite images are offering new information about the significance of Antarctica, and the secrets that it hides. There is covert military significance there, though little of anything is ever disclosed. There have been major conflicts between world powers over territory, and there are rumors of something beyond belief in the past of this magnificently unknown surface on our planet.

Startling images of a pyramid – or three – sticking out above the ice have been shared online, raising questions about the possibility of manmade structures and ancient civilizations that may have existed at a past time when Antarctica was relatively free from ice.

via the Daily Star:

If the structures discovered in the snowy continent prove to be man-made, it could change our understanding of human history.

[…]

Scientists have long believed the freezing climate in Antarctica was much warmer thousands of years ago.

In 2009, boffins discovered pollen in the continent, suggesting temperature was once as high as 20C.

And in 2012, scientists form Nevada’s Desert Research Institute identified 32 species of bacteria from Lake Vida, east Antarctica – further suggest the climate was entirely different to the frozen tundra that it is today.

Dr Vanessa Bowman previously said: “Go back 100 million years ago and Antarctica was covered in lush rainforests similar to those that exist in New Zealand today.”

Of course, there are those that have dismissed the notion and insisted that the structure is a naturally occurring nunatak, basically a mountain sticking out above the snow. And they could be right, until more is known. Of the many nunatak formations identified in Greenland and other part of Antarctica, for instance; some appear almost manmade, similar enough to a pyramid.

Nonetheless, the image is startling, and brings up fresh thoughts about the hidden history in Antarctica.

It is entirely possible that secrets of the past are being uncovered, and it is also possible that secret projects are underway for purposes unknown.

Things are changing rapidly on the mysterious frozen continent, largely forgotten in its solitude from the rest of the affairs of earth. Something is happening.

Secretary of State John Kerry made an unprecedented journeys there for what appears to be a flimsy pretext, with a vague reference to concerns related to the climate change issue. On the other side of the coin, a Cold War has reignited, and the U.S. and its allies are preparing for unconventional warfare on every front.

Curiously, astronaut Buzz Aldrin was medically evacuated from Antarctica just a few weeks ago, and afterwards tweeted & deleted this bizarre (and possibly sarcastic) message:

Did he know something? Is there more going on there than meets the eye? Perhaps not.

But perhaps this place has a part in our unique drama; perhaps it has another purpose.

Though it is little known today outside the realm of conspiracy conjecture, the Nazis established a base colony in Antarctica known as Neuschwabenland during the late 1930s, and reportedly discovered the Schirmacher Oasis, where there is a large area of barren exposed land.

U.S. Admiral Richard E. Byrd made two major expeditions to Antarctica, including Operation High Jump, which included an entire military division as well as hostile action. Its exact purpose remains clouded, but related to dominance of world powers and Cold War conflict with the Soviet Union. A journal he wrote suggested an underground oasis somewhere in the territory he explored… but who could really say?

Rumors abound of secret technological research, and access to an underground world. The Nazis epitomized the nexus between occult archaeology, mysticism and the most advanced science of the day – what they may have experimented with or achieved is not entirely clear.

There are at least 7 larger oases in Antarctica, (though they are wastelands by the standards of more inhabitable parts of the world) so it is not inconceivable that there are, or have been during past climate conditions, inhabitable parts of the frozen continent that could support civilization.

This remains solidly in the realm of conjecture, but one really has to wonder what might be announced there in the years to come.

If there were secrets to be found there, it could really change the way we understand the history of our planet, and the progress of the human species.
