Hillary Clinton May Question The Legitimacy Of The 2016 Election

hillary-pointing3

Hillary Clinton has officially opened the door to questioning the legitimacy of the 2016 presidential election – the very election she lost. But she still claims it’s Russia’s fault Donald Trump won.

In an interview that aired Monday on NPR, Hillary Clinton she “would not” rule out questioning the legitimacy of the 2016 election if Russian interference is deeper than currently known. Unable to give up on the Russian hysteria she and other Democrats created out of thin air, the former presidential candidate is going to whine about it instead.

According to CNN, this just means Clinton firmly believes that Russia helped president Donald Trump win and she still isn’t taking any responsibility for the fact that Americans just didn’t want her to be the president. Clinton has said previously that she conceded to Trump quickly and attended his inauguration because the nation’s peaceful transfer of power is critical. But her comments to NPR signal that as the imaginary and completely made up depths of Russia’s alleged interference are revealed she could envision a time when she questions Trump’s legitimacy as president.

Not that that is surprising at all. Most Democrats at some point have questioned Trump’s legitimacy. This was happening since the very beginning when the media announced he’d become the 45th president of the United States.

NPR‘s Terry Gross asked Clinton directly during the interview whether she would “completely rule out questioning the legitimacy of this election if we learn that the Russian interference in the election is even deeper than we know now?”

“No. I would not,” Clinton said. Gross asked: “You’re not going to rule it out?”

“No,” Clinton said. “I wouldn’t rule it out.” –CNN

Although in her book that she’s been promoting, What Happened (a reflection on her stunning loss in the 2016 election) she doesn’t question Trump’s legitimacy. It is, however, filled with several instances of ad hominem attacks against the president.

Clinton also devoted an entire chapter in her book to Russia and lays the blame on them for their “meddling” and “hacking” of the system which she alleges led to Trump’s win.

Glen Caplin, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton, reiterated her comments in a statement after the interview aired. He said that the former secretary of state “has said repeatedly the results of the election are over but we have to learn what happened. I would hope anyone in America concerned about the integrity of our democracy would feel the same way if we got there. But we’re not,” Caplin said. “Right now Bob Mueller and several congressional committees are investigating to what extent the Russians impacted our election and who exactly helped them do so.”

But Trump stood up to the ridiculous claims by the left. “This whole narrative is a way of saving face for Democrats losing an election that everyone thought they were supposed to win,” Trump posted on social media in March.

“The Democrats are overplaying their hand. They lost the election, and now they have lost their grip on reality.”

What Happened To "What Happened": Amazon Slashes Hillary's Book Price 40% Before It Hits Shelves

Last Friday, in an attempt at humor, we shared a satirical note from The Onion suggesting that Hillary had already begun work on a follow-up book, entitled "What Also Happened," intended to define precisely who was to blame for the failure of her first book, "What Happened."

Alas, if prices are any indicator of demand, which they"re pretty much universally accepted to be unless you"re discussing minimum wages with Bernie Sanders, then Hillary may want to double down on efforts to rush out the sequel as both Amazon and Walmart have decided to slash prices of "What Happened" by 40% before the books even hit shelves.

After Hillary"s publisher Simon and Schuster suggested a price of $30, Amazon slashed prices to $17.99 earlier today...

...and Walmart quickly matched...

Of course, the reviews have already started to pour into Amazon even though no one has a copy of the book yet.  Isaac apparently hated the book because he"s tired of hearing Hillary "blame her failure on sexism."

"What happened is she can not take responsibility for many of her own actions and blames her failure on sexism.

Ironically, it"s things like this that cause people on the fence go to the other side just to spite her."

Meanwhile, DirtBird thought the book was great...at balancing out his uneven table...

Finally, for those who are interested in what Hillary has to say in "What Happened" but just don"t have time to read a book right now, we found this summary to be a fairly accurate portrayal:

Hillary

* * *

For those who missed it, here is The Onion"s uncanny prediction of Hillary"s latest failure from last Friday...

Fact or Fiction:

CHAPPAQUA, NY - Saying it would provide a candid account of her experiences writing an unsuccessful tell-all, sources confirmed Thursday that Hillary Clinton is already working on a follow-up book casting blame for the failures of her previous memoir What Happened.

“From my agent negotiating that underwhelming deal with Simon & Schuster, to the graphic designer’s lackluster cover art, to my so-called supporters who couldn’t be bothered to drop $17.99 for the hardcover copy - everyone had a hand in undermining my last book’s success,” reads a passage from the introduction to Clinton’s What Also Happened, which repeatedly decries her prior book’s “indecipherable” font and dedicates an entire chapter to lashing out at her copy editor for making her look like “an idiot third-grader.”

“I’ll never forget how Amazon buried me and how Barnes & Noble completely sabotaged me by displaying my book way in the back in that no man’s land by the CDs. Frankly, it’s obvious I got screwed on all sides.”

Accusing them of stealing her spotlight, the book reportedly concludes with a long list of every other celebrity who published a memoir in the past year.

Hillary Blames Everyone for Losing to Trump in Her First Post-Election TV Interview

(ANTIMEDIA) – Ten months after her stunning loss in the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton is back in the limelight. And she’s not holding back. Her new book, What Happened, hits bookstores nationwide this week, and she will be promoting it — and her impassioned belief that American democracy is in great peril — with a 15 city live tour.

“I’m letting my guard down,” she proclaims.

In her first post-election interview, conducted over the weekend, she discussed her decision to return to the public eye, as well as how painful it was to write the book, in which she identifies the many factors that precipitated her loss.

Many pundits and elected officials, include Minnesota Senator Al Franken, have criticized Clinton’s blame game, which has focused largely on Russia, former FBI Director James Comey, Bernie Sanders, and ubiquitous American sexism. However, Clinton has also suggested former President Barack Obama could have done more to deal with Russia’s alleged interference, and she even takes a shot at former Vice President Joe Biden. While Clinton does take personal responsibility for the loss, it’s clear she believes a perfect storm of socio-political vicissitudes deprived her of the presidency.

While in the months following the election, Clinton reserved her most heated criticisms for Vladimir Putin and Russian intelligence, claiming their (still somewhat apocryphal) meddling in the election represented an unprecedented attack on our democracy, as excerpts of her book trickled out in recent weeks, it became clear that Clinton considers her opponent in the Democratic primaries, Bernie Sanders, a saboteur who subverted the general election. His political revolution, she says in her book, has caused “lasting damage.”

In her Sunday interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Clinton spoke at length about the role sexism and misogyny played in the election.

“I started the campaign knowing that I would have to work extra hard to make women and men feel comfortable with the idea of a woman president,” she said. “It doesn’t fit into the stereotypes we all carry around in our heads. A lot of the sexism and the misogyny was in service of these attitudes.”

She also sounded off about President Trump’s behavior during one of the most spectacular moments in political history. Only days after Trump’s sexually explicit leaked gaffe, which at the time many believed would cost him the election, the two squared off on stage for the third and final debate. As Clinton answered a question, Trump seemed to loom over her shoulders as she addressed the audience.

She recounted the incident:

“After we heard him admitting and laughing about sexually assaulting women and being able to get away with it because if you’re a star, you can do anything. So in my debate prep, we practiced this. The young man playing Trump would stalk me. And I practiced keeping my composure. I practiced not getting rattled. Well, it’s one thing to practice it. It’s another thing to be in front of, you know, 50 million, 60 million, 70 million people and having him scowling and leering and moving up on me. And– it– it was so discombobulating.”

“And so while I’m answering questions, my mind is going, ‘Okay, do I keep my composure? Do I act like a president?’ Or do I wheel around and say, ‘Get outta my space. Back up, you creep’? Well, you know, I didn’t do the latter. But I think in this time we’re in, particularly in this campaign, you know, maybe I missed a few chances.”

Other revelations from the interview include her not having a concession speech ready on election night, that her biggest mistake was the handling of the email scandal, and that her days as an “active politician” are over. She added, somewhat paradoxically, that she will remain active in politics (perhaps she means to say she will be an activist).

“I literally believe our country’s future is at stake.”

Hillary Clinton Just Announced Her New Book… And It’s Getting Destroyed by Trolls

(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — Hillary Clinton can’t catch a break. The 2016 presidential loser is still more unpopular than Donald Trump, one of the most unpopular presidents in history. So it’s no surprise that on Thursday, upon announcing the title of her latest book, What Happened, the former senator and secretary of state was attacked by an army of Twitter trolls.

The backlash ranged from typical right-wing talking points to legitimate critiques of Clinton’s many flawed and establishment policies, and head and founder of Wikileaks Julian Assange, who played a substantial role in destroying her campaign last year, came out to join the trolling festivities. The most popular hashtags were #WhatHappened and #BetternamesforHillarysbook.

Some tweets simply mocked her for losing and her recent refusal to accept her major role in that defeat:

As to be expected, right-wing corners of the internet cited some jarring incidents from her campaign, including apparent evidence that pointed to her ailing health. Throughout the campaign, a popular narrative suggested she was gravely ill, a claim largely bolstered by footage of her inability to stand and walk on her own:

Some tapped into widespread Islamophobia that attracted many voters to Donald Trump (though, unfortunately, hardly any tweets recognized that her hawkish foreign policy has spurred terrorism):

Others slammed the Clinton campaign’s heavy reliance on feminist messaging:

In Anti-Media’s opinion, some of the better troll tweets touched on Clinton’s violent and corrupt policies:

Others focused on the accusations surrounding the mysterious death of former DNC employee Seth Rich, who is rumored to have been behind some of the emails released by Wikileaks — accusations the mainstream media has vehemently dismissed as conspiracies:

Some tweets showed support for Hillary, predictably parroting her campaign slogan and talking points from the same media establishments that pushed her campaign so aggressively:

The delusions also came from Trump supporters, many of whom apparently remain convinced that Donald Trump is the country’s savior and will still prosecute Hillary Clinton — as he promised on the campaign trail — despite his weak flip flopping on the subject and previous ties to the Democratic party:

The best tweets, hands down, came from Julian Assange and Wikileaks:

Ultimately, it matters little who took the Oval Office. Trump has failed to drain the swamp Clinton enthusiastically swam in, the Saudi connection she was widely condemned for has continued, and the wars she advocated show no signs of stopping. But that clearly won’t stop the internet from trolling one of the most hated political figures in recent memory.
