MAGA Hats Violate “Safe Space Policy”: College Campus Coffee Shop Kicks Out Students For Being Trump Supporters

Students at Fordham University were forced to leave a college campus coffee shop after they were harassed by its president who demanded that they leave the store because they were members of the College Republicans who were wearing Make American Great Again hats.

The students were told that their MAGA hats violated the shops “safe space policy” and therefore they had five minutes to leave the store despite the fact that they had purchased coffee and as students of the university would seemingly have every right to be there.

Video footage of the incident, obtained by Campus Reform, shows the “self-identified” president of the Coffee House harassing the students before laughably claiming that she is the one protecting her customers.

“I am protecting my customers,” the clearly agitated liberal yells at the students.

Campus Reform reported:

“We are your customers, we bought something,” a CR member replied.

“I don’t want people like you supporting this club… no one here wants people like you supporting our club,” the president retorted. “I am giving you five minutes.”

A student then asked for a refund, to which the president responded, “[y]ou had some coffee… do not try to outsmart me.”

“You are threatening the integrity of our club. This is a community standard—you are wearing hats that completely violate safe space policy,” she said. “You have to take it off or you have to go.”

One of the students then asked the president to explain what she thinks the MAGA hat stands for, to which she replied, shouting: “Fascism, Nazis! You have three minutes.”

The students took a photo of the coffee shops safe space policy which predictably targets anyone who doesn’t follow the hard-left orthodoxy.

It reads:

“Do not make assumptions about someone’s gender, sexuality, race, class, or experiences. Be aware of your own identity, while being considerate of the personhood of your peers. Be mindful of the ways in which your words and actions impact others. Be aware of the boundaries of other’s space, physical or otherwise, and respect their consent.

No racism – No sexism – No homophobia. If you feel that someone has transgressed this policy, we want you to feel comfortable confronting them or approaching a member behind the counter, who is available as a resource to assist you.”

In other words, if you are a Trump supporter you are a racist and not allowed in a coffee shop that is literally on campus.

No word whether or not university officials are going to do anything about their own students being harassed for their political opinions.

Two Top Republicans Cast Doubt On A Second Term For Donald Trump

According to two top republican politicians, Donald Trump may not seek reelection in 2020, in spite of already raising millions for his campaign. Chris Christie and Rand Paul are casting doubt on Trump’s desire to remain president.

“If he runs again I would support him, yes, but I’m not so sure what will happen,” Chris Christe, the governor of New Jersey said on the Today show on Friday. Senator Rand Paul also cast doubts over whether President Trump would throw his hat into the presidential ring again and argued Republicans should not merely assume he is running.

“I think no one can stop primaries from happening and there could well be a primary that happens,” Paul said on MSNBC when probed about whether the US could benefit from a Republican party primary in 2020. “Before you even get to that, you need to know, is President Trump running for re-election? I think you won’t know that until you get into sort of – second, third year of his presidency,” he said. Paul said he could not see himself supporting anyone else he did suggest the chance of him supporting a candidate who would end the war in Afghanistan.

“So I see the glass as half full. Doesn’t mean I agree with him on everything,” he said. “You know, there would be people that – if we could end the Afghan war, that’s who I would support. But I don’t think that’s going to be an alternative to President Trump.”

Paul’s sentiments are similar to those expressed by Christie. “Four years is a long time, and especially for someone who has not spent a lifetime in politics, so I think those years affect him differently. So I’m sure the president will make whatever decision is best for him and his family and the country,” said Christie.

Christie and Paul both said that if Trump runs again, he’d have both of their support in a reelection campaign. Not running for a second term would be a highly unconventional move for a sitting president. Only three other presidents have deliberately moved out of the White House after just one term as president.  But Trump has invested money in his reelection campaign already.

According to the Centre for Public Integrity, Trump’s re-election campaign committee raised just over $10 million from July to the end of September. The former reality star and real estate mogul held a $35,000-a-plate fundraiser event a few blocks from the White House at his Washington hotel back in June. Trump’s historically early campaigning has seen his campaign accumulate more than $7 million in the first three months of this year via small donations and selling Trump-themed merchandise such as his trademark “Make America Great Again” hats.

“F**K Freedom of Speech”: Crazed Leftist Steals MAGA Hat, Claims Speech Is Genocide And that Trump Supporters Need To Be Gotten Rid Of

A Trump supporter attending the University of California, Riverside had his “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat stolen from him by a crazed leftist who then went on a psychotic rant that attacked everything from the very idea of free speech to the existence of too many white people in the country.

The shocking video, first released by Campus Reform, began with Trump supporter Matthew Vitale desperately trying to get his property back from the thief who was so lost (see crazy?) that she apparently believed that going to the school’s Student Life Department would help her cause, as if they were going to openly support her obvious crime.

After entering the department the student preceded to act like she was in the right, complaining that, “This guy thought it would be a good idea to go into a conference wearing this f***ing hat.”

“Look at the kind of sh*t he’s wearing. You know what that represents? This represents genocide of a bunch of people,” she ludicrously continued.

That’s right, in the new leftist orthodoxy, literally wearing a hat about making the country great again after years of globalist shenanigans is now openly labeled as support for genocide.

After threatening to burn the hat, the women goes on a disgusting rant against a variety of issues that most Americans cherish.

“F**K freedom of speech, it’s killing people,” she yelled as Vitale tried to explain that he simply wanted his property back and that he was only using his first amendment rights to wear it in the first place.

The so far unidentified women then continued her obvious Marxist screed, claiming that America was never great and that she has always hated the country itself.

“I f**king hate this country because we need to get rid of all ya all,” she continued.

It is unclear whether she meant get rid of all Trump supporters or all whites in general but either way these are some truly sickening, over the top comments that no one in the establishment media seems to even remotely care about.

An update to the original report by Campus Reform included a new statement from the university.

“The unfortunate incident that was recorded and shared on social media does not conform to UCR’s Principles of Community,” Director of News and Information JD Warren told Campus Reform. “Federal privacy laws prevent the university from commenting on student conduct matters but UC Riverside stands by its deep commitment to freedom of expression, civil discourse, and respectful interactions within our community.”

What the vague statement actually means remains to be seen but if the school administration did end up standing up for the Trump supporters rights you can almost guarantee that the leftist horde will soon be descending on the school.

The above exchange between an innocent student simply wearing the hat of his choosing and a crazed hyper leftist demanding censorship of ideas she disagrees with is sadly simply another example of the insanity gripping college campuses throughout the country. These universities are slowly but surely putting in different unilaterally passed “rules” that could eventually lead to the labeling of all conservative ideas as racist hate speech.
