Journalist Ben Swann Is Returning Thanks To DASH Cryptocurrency

After nearly a year of silence on social media, journalist Ben Swann is preparing to make his triumphant return using the popular DASH cryptocurrency. 

On February 1, 2017, award-winning journalist Ben Swann “went dark” as his social media accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere were suddenly deactivated. Swann is a well-known local journalist at CBS46 in Atlanta, as well as a viral Internet sensation for his Reality Check investigative reports. Swann’s Reality Check reports began to garner attention around the 2012 U.S. election and have continued to gain millions of views while questioning the mainstream narrative.

Prior to his disappearance, Swann had been under attack by much of the corporate media (as well as left-leaning media which supported Hillary Clinton) for his now notorious Reality Check segment on the controversial Pizzagate theory. During the segment, Swann draws attention to what he sees as curious aspects of the theory which warrant further attention. Swann was immediately attacked by The Daily Beast (going so far as to place a tin-foil hat on the journalist), the Inquisitr, and many other publications. CBS46 initially defended Ben Swann’s reporting, but later appeared to take the blame for allowing the report to air.

Shortly after the Pizzagate segments and the subsequent attacks, Ben Swann posted the following message across social media:

Hey guys, everyone is asking if everything is ok. They are. I will be heading back to CBS46 on Monday but there will be changes. The biggest one will be that this social media page will be going dark f/n on Tuesday, Feb. 1. We’ve been building this project for 6 years and those who have come to know me.. I hope you have also come to trust me.

Swann’s disappearance from the Internet sparked a massive debate and outcry from his supporters who wondered whether or not the Internet sensation had become a victim of censorship or something worse. Despite shutting down his own website (Truth In Media) and all his social media channels, Ben Swann continued to report on CBS46 in Atlanta. However, his reporting has exclusively focused on local news as opposed to the hard hitting journalism of his earlier Reality Check segments.

 

 

Ben Swann Returns Thanks to DASH, Digital Cash

In mid-December 2017, Ben Swann began posting in the forums of the cryptocurrency, DASH. While an increasing amount of public attention is given to the popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, many people in the privacy focused crypto community are placing their support behind DASH.  Originally released under the name “Darkcoin” back in 2014, the crypto would later be rebranded as DASH, or digital cash.

What differentiates DASH from Bitcoin and other alt coins? DASH is designed to confirm transactions faster than Bitcoin with their “InstantSend” feature which can confirm payments in less than a second. DASH also allows for privacy with transactions and balances via “PrivateSend.”

The biggest feature that sets DASH apart from Bitcoin is the use of self-governing, self-funding protocol. This allows users to submit proposals to the treasury which help grow the DASH community and potentially receive funding. (DASH is a powerful cryptocurrency and I recommend visiting their website linked above for a more thorough, technical understanding.) Users submit proposals via forums in the DASH community. It is in these forums where Ben Swann sought assistance for reviving Reality Check and his Truth In Media website. Ben Swann wrote:

We propose that just as DASH is creating disruption in the financial world, it now creates disruption in the media world by bringing back to the masses Reality Check with Ben Swann. As the sole sponsor of Reality Check, DASH will be branded and tied to what is one of the most successful news segments in the world. Our hope is to establish and sustain a long-term partnership, and we would be honored to be an enduring ambassador of Dash.

Swann’s proposal called on the DASH community to fund the return of 24, two- to five-minute episodes of Reality Check. The proposal also asked for funding for hiring writers for the Truth In Media website, including a section on cryptocurrencies like DASH. In late December the proposal was approved with Ben Swann and team receiving a payout of 800 DASH per month for 3 months (about $2.3 million USD). According to the proposal, the episodes will air every Tuesday and Thursday beginning February 6th.

Although Ben Swann’s proposal was ultimately approved by the community, he did face opposition because of his reporting on Pizzagate and vaccinations. In response to two different questions regarding Pizzagate, Ben had the following to say:

First, Pizzagate. I can’t say a lot about this at this point but I will say this. I did not create Pizzagate. Nor was I the first journalist to cover it. In fact, I did not cover it until every major network in the country talked about the gunman who entered the pizza place. Those networks also reported that the gunman was responding to a fake conspiracy theory but never explained what that theory was. After receiving hundreds of requests to explain the theory, that is what I did. You may not like the fact that I covered the story at all, but you are yet to explain what I said in that report that was false.

Regarding his social media blackout Swann offered the following:

I can’t discuss (yet) everything that has happened to cause RC to be discontinued. I am still working working with CBS in Atlanta. I can tell you that since the beginning of 2017, I have had dozens of huge websites and video content companies contact me about providing RC through their channels. I have absolutely no doubt that the continued viral reach will not be a problem. I still receive several dozen emails every week asking when RC will come back.

Ben Swann also confirmed that he will begin appearing publicly starting with the Anarchapulco conference in Acapulco, Mexico in late February. “I have already been invited by Jeff Berwick to speak in Acapulco… The slot I have been offered is to be just before the keynote speaker (Dr. Ron Paul),” Swann wrote.

Ben Swann’s reporting style, honesty, and credibility has been sorely missing from the independent media for the last year. Many of us (myself included) have done our best to fill the gap left by Swann. It will be a great pleasure to have Ben Swann back in the trenches working alongside the truth media.

Derrick Broze: Is Anarchy Coming To Your City?

Central banksters, central planners and governments in general have grown up over the past 4-5 decades believing they own the citizens and have the absolute right to dictate every aspect of our lives. They don’t. Unfortunately, what has happened is the citizens, around the world, have bought the lie the government has been selling – we are here to care for you, your children and everything you need we will provide. What a scam.

Now, it appears, there is a growing number of citizens that see this lie for what it truly is – dictatorship and enslavement. As we have pointed out endlessly, in the United States, the enslavement began with the passing of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. The lies, corruption and fascism have all had to grow up with the Federal Reserve Note – U.S. dollar – otherwise, the lie would have been revealed a long time ago and the jig would’ve ended.

We see the results of what is termed “populism” with the election of Donald Trump, the BREXIT vote in the U.K. and the uprisings across Europe. The people have had enough and their voices grow stronger every day.

How do we maintain this movement? How do we, as individuals, grow stronger, smarter and break away from this failed system? What are the lessons from our ancestors we can learn and combine them with today’s technology to create a system that works for us? How does that happen and how will it work?

Our grandparents and great-grandparents lived a much simpler life. Primarily they grew their own food, maintained their own water supply and when something “broke” or needed repairs they either did it themselves or recruited local help with the necessary skills. Usually these tasks and chores, depending on the size and scope, were handled devoid of any monetary transaction. Simple trade or other form of “payment” was made. These transactions were “off-book” and did not require any government intervention on any level. They didn’t have a codes department telling them what they can and cannot do with their property, there was no tax man waiting for his cut at the end of the transaction and the other neighbors kept to themselves and didn’t really feel the need to tell someone how to raise their child. My, my, my how things have changed.

Why can’t some, or all, of these situations be handled today as they were 100 years ago? Actually, they can. We need the guts to knock on our neighbor’s door or reach out to the church and have the courage to ask for help or seek guidance with an open mind. We can also remove our monetary transactions from view of the government. We now have options to make this happen. We now have technology, both ancient and new, that will allow us to break away from the system almost completely. Within a few years, or, perhaps, even in a few months, we may actually be able to break away 100%.

Enter GoldMoney and cryptocurrencies. Gold Money was introduced in 2015 by the Gold Money company. Gold Money is a form of digital gold that spends like your national currency, e.g. U.S. dollar. Combine these with other self-sufficient means and the next thing you know your life has transformed into something altogether different and a heck-of-a-lot more meaningful.

SURPRISE! President Trump Admits American Taxpayers Will Pay For The Border Wall

President Trump has revealed that American taxpayers will indeed pay for the proposed border wall on the nation’s southern border.

On Wednesday President Trump admitted that his plan for the construction of a wall along the southern border of the United States will be funded by domestic taxpayers. During the 2016 campaign Trump promised several times that he would force Mexico to pay for the wall.

Trump’s comments came in an interview with ABC News, his first interview since becoming President. ABC has only released a short clip of the interview and will air the full interview on the evening of January 25. In the clip we hear President Trump state that the project that will start “in months.”

When asked who would pay for the wall – Mexico or the American taxpayer – Trump confirmed that the taxpayer will fund the project that is estimated to cost somewhere between $15 to 25 billion. “Ultimately, it will come out of what’s happening with Mexico … and we will be in a form reimbursed by Mexico, which I’ve always said,” Trump said. He was referring to the claim that U.S. taxpayers will pay for the wall initially and later be reimbursed by a payment from the Mexican government. Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has insisted that his nation won’t pay for the wall.

“All it is, is we’ll be reimbursed at a later date from whatever transaction we make from Mexico,” he said. “I’m just telling you there will be a payment. It will be in a form, perhaps a complicated form. What I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

Despite the claims that Americans will be reimbursed it would be wise to remain skeptical of the claims of Trump and his cabinet. Whether you want to admit it or not, Trump is a politician. He said many false claims to gain support and get himself where is today. Taxpayers will pay for the wall and they will not see that money again. But let’s imagine for a moment that Mexico does indeed reimburse the U.S. government. Do you really believe the federal government is going to send out a check to each taxpayer with a nice “thank you” note? No. If Mexico reimburses anyone it will be the U.S. government who forced their population to pay taxes to fund this totalitarian vision of a border wall.

The taxes that Trump will use to pay for this wall are taken from you through force. This means that if you do not pay your taxes armed agents of the government will come looking for you. If they are not satisfied they will steal more money from you or lock you in a cage. They might even attempt to kill you in an effort to forcibly collect fealty for the king and his court. So whether you support the border wall or not, if you value you freedom, you must acknowledge that it is wrong to force others to pay for your vision via taxation. Just as it was immoral for Obama to force Americans to buy health insurance, it is immoral to force Americans to pay for this border wall. Both actions were taken with the apparent mission to fix a problem (solve the healthcare crisis, solve the border crisis); however, they lose their meaning when implemented using force and theft via taxation.

Quite simply, this project is being funded with stolen money from the American taxpayer. If you want a border wall then organize and crowdfund to build a wall on your property. Do not force others to pay for your barrier through taxation. Finally, when Trump’s team spoke of the wall they mentioned creating new detention centers up and down the wall. I can see it now: a heavily militarized border with checkpoints and detention centers under the control of the federal government. This is exactly the type of tyranny that lovers of liberty and freedom have been fighting for generations. What happened to those who value freedom and oppose authoritarianism? Did you abandon reason and philosophy for brute force and fear?

The battle is not lost, but if you are not willing to call out the mistakes and crimes of Trump you are failing yourself. We must fight to keep all people in positions of power accountable to the people. Whether their names are Bush, Obama, Clinton, or Trump, they should always fear the awakened, organized, and empowered hearts and minds of the world. We must continue to stand together to oppose tyranny and theft. To avoid paying the State learn about counter-economics and start building freedom cells. It’s time to for our communities to organize and create the next stage of a free humanity.
