Military Enlists First Transgender Recruit While White House Ponders Policy

Military Enlists First Transgender Recruit While White House Ponders Policy | 37d5e015596bf3bfb670130d1729c5d0_XL | Military Pentagon US News

(The New American) Last year, the White House announced it would reinstate the ban against transgender individuals serving in the military, but on Monday, the Pentagon confirmed that the first transgender recruit, who wished to remain anonymous, has signed up for military service. Those who support the ban against transgender individuals serving in the military contend that they will only hurt military readiness and unit cohesion, while others point to the financial burden of allowing such individuals to serve in the military.

The recruit’s enlistment may have been premature, as the White House is expected to release its official policy on transgender troops on March 23, a deadline set by President Trump. Meanwhile, Defense Secretary James Mattis’ (shown) recommendations on whether transgender troops should be allowed to serve continue to be under review at the White House.

Former Defense Secretary Ash Carter had announced in 2016 that transgender troops could serve openly in the military and that enlistment could begin in July of that year, but Mattis pushed that deadline to January of 2018 as he reviewed the Obama-era policy.

On Friday, Secretary Mattis’ recommendations were sent to the White House. Defense Department spokesman Army Colonel Rob Manning states Mattis’ recommendations are based on the findings of a department-led review late last year, which found that transgender troops could remain in the military under certain conditions. As of January 1, transgender recruits were allowed to be enlisted.

“This is a complex issue, and the secretary is taking his time to consider the information he’s been given. It’s an important issue, and again, he sees all of his decisions through the lens of lethality,” Pentagon press secretary Dana White told reporters.

In August of 2017, when President Trump directed the Pentagon to reverse President Obama’s policy of accepting transgender recruits in the military and reinstate the ban, he explained that the military “cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”

The Trump administration had also previously said in legal papers that the armed forces were not prepared to train thousands of personnel on the medical standards needed to process transgender applicants and might have to accept “some individuals who are not medically fit for service” if transgenders were allowed in.

US Deploying Thousands of Marines to Deter China

US Deploying Thousands of Marines to Deter China | marines-to-china | Military Pentagon Special Interests US News

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Pentagon may send a combat marine expeditionary force to deter “growing Chinese influence” while drawing down Middle East force levels.

Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Christopher Logan declined to elaborate, saying “(t)he Department of Defense continually evaluates how we employ our forces throughout the globe but it would be inappropriate to discuss any ongoing planning.”

Defense Priorities analyst/retired army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis/believes the move “plays directly into the concerns and the fears of North Korea that we’re actually preparing for an attack,” adding:

“Effective diplomacy (with China) can’t take place if you have a hammer hanging over the head of your negotiating partner.”

He supports drawing down US forces in the Middle East, calling the region a “money pit and blood pit…with no (US) gain.”

US forces should be brought home, not sent to East Asia “where they could potentially be used in a ground war there that would be even more catastrophic.”

Marine expeditionary forces include about 2,200 combat troops, operating from amphibious assault ships with their own warplanes, tanks and other heavy weapons.

Washington already has about 50,000 troops in Japan, another 30,000 in South Korea, 40,000 in Hawaii, thousands in Guam, along with smaller numbers in Australia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and elsewhere regionally.

With scores of ships, nuclear-powered submarines, warplanes, and 20,000 sailors, America’s Yokosuka, Japan-based Seventh Fleet is the US navy’s largest deployed sea force.

The Trump administration’s National Defense Strategy prioritizes countering Russia and China. According to the WSJ, bolstering America’s East Asia marine force aims to “persuade Pacific nations to stand with the US.”

According to Commandant of the Marine Corp General Robert Neller, the National Defense Strategy and “other guidance requires us to adopt a more global posture and this will shape our future naval presence, especially in the Indo-Pacific region,” adding:

“We have to be present and engaged to compete.” The National Defense Strategy “will shape our future naval presence, especially in the Indo-Pacific region.”

During a visit to Australia, Joint Chiefs chairman General Joseph Dunford claimed there’s “no stronger way to demonstrate our commitment to our allies than actually being physically present.”

Defense Secretary Mattis said “(g)reat power competition – not terrorism – is now the primary focus of US national security,” – at a time when the nation’s only threats are invented ones, Mattis adding:

“This strategy is fit for our time, providing the American people the military required to protect our way of life, stand with our allies and live up to our responsibility to pass intact to the next generation those freedoms we enjoy today.”

Trump’s National Security Strategy is a blueprint designed for endless wars of aggression, seeking unchallenged global dominance – peace and stability rejected as unacceptable options.

“Our way of life” is all about a permanent state of war, partnering with NATO, Israel and other rogue allies, risking the destruction of planet earth to own it.

The Military Industrial Complex Strikes Again: War Spending Will Bankrupt America

The Military Industrial Complex Strikes Again: War Spending Will Bankrupt America | military-spending | Economy & Business Military Special Interests US News

By John W. Whitehead, Rutherford Institute

Why throw money at defense when everything is falling down around us? Do we need to spend more money on our military (about $600 billion this year) than the next seven countries combined? Do we need 1.4 million active military personnel and 850,000 reserves when the enemy at the moment — ISIS — numbers in the low tens of thousands? If so, it seems there’s something radically wrong with our strategy. Should 55% of the federal government’s discretionary spending go to the military and only 3% to transportation when the toll in American lives is far greater from failing infrastructure than from terrorism? Does California need nearly as many active military bases (31, according to militarybases.com) as it has UC and state university campuses (33)? And does the state need more active duty military personnel (168,000, according to Governing magazine) than public elementary school teachers (139,000)?”— Steve Lopez, Los Angeles Times

Mark my words, America’s war spending will bankrupt the nation.

For that matter, America’s war spending has already bankrupted the nation to the tune of more than $20 trillion dollars.

Now the Trump Administration is pushing for a $4.4 trillion budget for fiscal year 2019 that would add $7 trillion to the already unsustainable federal deficit in order to sustain America’s military empire abroad and dramatically expand the police state here at home. Trump also wants American taxpayers to cover the cost of building that infamous border wall.

Truly, Trump may turn out to be, as policy analyst Stan Collender warned, “the biggest deficit- and debt-increasing president of all time.”

For those in need of a quick reminder: “A budget deficit is the difference between what the federal government spends and what it takes in. The national debt, also known as the public debt, is the result of the federal government borrowing money to cover years and years of budget deficits.”

Right now, the U.S. government is operating in the negative on every front: it’s spending far more than what it makes (and takes from the American taxpayers) and it is borrowing heavily (from foreign governments and Social Security) to keep the government operating and keep funding its endless wars abroad.

This is how military empires fall and fail: by spreading themselves too thin and spending themselves to death.

It happened in Rome. It’s happening again.

Not content to merely police the globe, in recent decades, America has gradually transformed its homeland into a battlefield with militarized police and weapons better suited to a war zone.

Since taking office, President Trump—much like his predecessors—has marched in lockstep with the military. Now Trump wants $716 billion to expand America’s military empire abroad and billions more to hire cops, build more prisons and wage more profit-driven war-on-drugs/war-on-terrorism/war-on-crime programs that eat away at the Fourth Amendment while failing to make the country any safer.

Even the funds requested for infrastructure will do little to shore up the nation’s crumbling roads, bridges, railways, highways, power grids and dams.

No matter how your break it down, this is not a budget aimed at perfecting the Union, establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting general welfare, or securing the blessings of liberty for the American people.

No, this is a budget aimed at pandering to the powerful money interests (military, corporate and security) that run the Deep State and hold the government in its clutches.

So much for Trump’s campaign promises to balance the budget and drain the swamps of corruption.

The glaring economic truth is that at the end of the day, it’s the military industrial complex—and not the sick, the elderly or the poor—that is pushing America towards bankruptcy.

As investigative journalist Uri Friedman puts it, for more than 15 years now, the United States has been fighting terrorism with a credit card, “essentially bankrolling the wars with debt, in the form of purchases of U.S. Treasury bonds by U.S.-based entities like pension funds and state and local governments, and by countries like China and Japan.”

The illicit merger of the armaments industry and the Pentagon that President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us against more than 50 years ago has come to represent perhaps the greatest threat to the nation’s fragile infrastructure today.

Having been co-opted by greedy defense contractors, corrupt politicians and incompetent government officials, America’s expanding military empire is bleeding the country dry at a rate of more than $15 billion a month (or $20 million an hour)—and that’s just what the government spends on foreign wars.

That does not include the cost of maintaining and staffing the 1000-plus U.S. military bases spread around the globe.

Incredibly, although the U.S. constitutes only 5% of the world’s population, America boasts almost 50% of the world’s total military expenditure,  spending more on the military than the next 19 biggest spending nations combined.

In fact, the Pentagon spends more on war than all 50 states combined spend on health, education, welfare, and safety.

War is not cheap.

Although the federal government obscures so much about its defense spending that accurate figures are difficult to procure, we do know that since 2001, the U.S. government has spent more than $1.8 trillion in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (that’s $8.3 million per hour).

That doesn’t include wars and military exercises waged around the globe, which are expected to push the total bill upwards of $12 trillion by 2053.

Mind you, these ongoing wars—riddled by corruption, graft and bumbling incompetence—have done little to keep the country safe while enriching the military industrial complex—and private defense contractors—at taxpayer expense.

Just recently, for example, a leading accounting firm concluded that one of the Pentagon’s largest agencies “can’t account for hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of spending.”

Just consider the fact that it costs American taxpayers $2.1 million per year for each soldier deployed in Afghanistan.

Imagine what you could do with that money if it were spent on domestic needs here at home.

Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen anytime soon, not as long as the money interests in Washington keep calling the shots and profiting from the spoils of war.

War has become a huge money-making venture, and America, with its vast military empire, is one of its best buyers and sellers. Not only does the U.S. have the largest defense budget, it also ranks highest as the world’s largest arms exporter.

The American military-industrial complex has erected an empire unsurpassed in history in its breadth and scope, one dedicated to conducting perpetual warfare throughout the earth.

For example, while erecting a security surveillance state in the U.S., the military-industrial complex has perpetuated a worldwide military empire with American troops stationed in 177 countries (over 70% of the countries worldwide).

In the process, billions have been spent erecting luxury military installations throughout the world.

For example, the U.S. Embassy built in Iraq, dubbed “Fortress Baghdad,” covers 104 acres and boasts a “city within a city” that includes six apartment buildings, a Marine barracks, swimming pool, shops and 15-foot-thick walls. Camp Anaconda in Iraq, like many U.S. military bases scattered across the globe, was structured to resemble a mini-city with pools, fast food restaurants, miniature golf courses and movie theaters.

While most Americans can scarcely afford the cost of heating and cooling their own homes, the American government spends $20 billion annually just to provide air conditioning for military installations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In essence, what we’re doing is “we’re air conditioning the desert over there in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other places,” noted retired brigadier general Steven Anderson, a former chief logistician for Gen. David Petraeus in Iraq.

Think about that for a minute.

There’s a good reason why “bloated,” “corrupt” and “inefficient” are among the words most commonly applied to the government, especially the Department of Defense and its contractors.

For instance, a study by the Government Accountability Office found that $70 billion worth of cost overruns by the Pentagon were caused by management failures. To put that in perspective, that equates to one and a half times the State Department’s entire $47 billion annual budget.

Fraud is rampant.

A government audit, for example, found that defense contractor Boeing has been massively overcharging taxpayers for mundane parts, resulting in tens of millions of dollars in overspending. As the report noted, the American taxpayer paid:

$71 for a metal pin that should cost just 4 cents; $644.75 for a small gear smaller than a dime that sells for $12.51: more than a 5,100 percent increase in price. $1,678.61 for another tiny part, also smaller than a dime, that could have been bought within DoD for $7.71: a 21,000 percent increase. $71.01 for a straight, thin metal pin that DoD had on hand, unused by the tens of thousands, for 4 cents: an increase of over 177,000 percent.

Price gouging has become an accepted form of corruption within the American military empire.

And if you think gas prices at home can get high, just consider what the American taxpayer is being forced to shell out overseas: once all the expenses of delivering gas to troops in the field are factored in, we’re paying between $18-30 per gallon for gas in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Incredibly, despite reports of corruption, abuse and waste, the mega-corporations behind much of this ineptitude and corruption continue to be awarded military contracts worth billions of dollars.

The rationale may keep changing for why American military forces are in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere, but the one that remains constant is that those who run the government are feeding the appetite of the military industrial complex.

What began in 2001 as part of an alleged effort to root out al Qaeda has turned into a goldmine for the military industrial complex and its army of private contractors.

Just consider: the Pentagon in 2008 spent more money every five seconds in Iraq than the average American earned in a year.

Yet Congress and the White House want taxpayers to accept that the only way to reduce the nation’s ballooning deficit is by cutting “entitlement” programs such as Social Security and Medicare?

As Martin Luther King Jr. recognized, under a military empire, war and its profiteering will always take precedence over the people’s basic human needs.

Simply put, we cannot afford to maintain our over-extended military empire.

Money is the new 800-pound gorilla,” remarked a senior administration official involved in Afghanistan. “It shifts the debate from ‘Is the strategy working?’ to ‘Can we afford this?’ And when you view it that way, the scope of the mission that we have now is far, far less defensible.”

Or as one commentator noted, “Foreclosing the future of our country should not be confused with defending it.”

Inevitably, military empires collapse.

As Cullen Murphy, author of Are We Rome? and editor-at-large of Vanity Fair writes:

A millennium hence America will be hard to recognize. It may not exist as a nation-state in the form it does now—or even exist at all. Will the transitions ahead be gradual and peaceful or abrupt and catastrophic? Will our descendants be living productive lives in a society better than the one we inhabit now? Whatever happens, will valuable aspects of America’s legacy weave through the fabric of civilizations to come? Will historians someday have reason to ask, Did America really fall?

The problem we wrestle with is none other than a distorted American empire, complete with mega-corporations, security-industrial complexes and a burgeoning military. And it has its sights set on absolute domination.

Eventually, however, all military empires fail.

At the height of its power, even the mighty Roman Empire could not stare down a collapsing economy and a burgeoning military. Prolonged periods of war and false economic prosperity largely led to its demise. As historian Chalmers Johnson predicts:

The fate of previous democratic empires suggests that such a conflict is unsustainable and will be resolved in one of two ways. Rome attempted to keep its empire and lost its democracy. Britain chose to remain democratic and in the process let go its empire. Intentionally or not, the people of the United States already are well embarked upon the course of non-democratic empire.

I would suggest that what we have is a confluence of factors and influences that go beyond mere comparisons to Rome.

It is a union of Orwell’s 1984 with its shadowy, totalitarian government—i.e., fascism, the union of government and corporate powers—and a total surveillance state with a military empire extended throughout the world.

As we have seen with the militarizing of the police, the growth of and reliance on militarism as the solution for our problems both domestically and abroad affects the basic principles upon which American society should operate.

We must keep in mind that a military empire will be ruled not by lofty ideals of equality and justice but by the power of the sword. Those in the military are primarily trained to conduct warfare, not preserve the peace.

Here’s the kicker, though: if the American empire falls and the American economy collapses—and with it the last vestiges of our constitutional republic—it will be the government and its trillion-dollar war budgets that are to blame.

Of course, the government has already anticipated this breakdown.

That’s why the government has transformed America into a war zone, turned the nation into a surveillance state, and labelled “we the people” as enemy combatants.

For years now, the government has worked with the military to prepare for widespread civil unrest brought about by “economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters.”

Having spent more than half a century exporting war to foreign lands, profiting from war, and creating a national economy seemingly dependent on the spoils of war, the war hawks long ago turned their profit-driven appetites on us, bringing home the spoils of war—the military tanks, grenade launchers, Kevlar helmets, assault rifles, gas masks, ammunition, battering rams, night vision binoculars, etc.—and handing them over to local police, thereby turning America into a battlefield.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, this is how the police state wins and “we the people” lose.

More than 50 years ago, President Dwight Eisenhower warned us not to let the profit-driven war machine endanger our liberties or democratic processes.

We failed to heed his warning.

As Eisenhower recognized in a speech given to the American Society of Newspaper Editors, on Apr. 16, 1953, the consequences of allowing the military-industrial complex to wage war, exhaust our resources and dictate our national priorities are beyond grave:

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people… This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.”

US Secrecy on Military Operations

US Secrecy on Military Operations | american-flag-military-wars | Military Pentagon Special Interests US News

America’s only enemies are invented ones to maintain a permanent state of war – so war-profiteers can gorge at the public trough, a deplorable state of affairs worsening, not improving.

Militarism and warmaking define America’s agenda.

Campaigns in multiple theaters are being waged, new ones certain to be launched, numerous covert and other operations ongoing secretly.

The Pentagon and misnamed Defense Department operate below the radar, the public kept uninformed, mainstream media reporting nothing. What they know, they won’t say.

Weeks after Trump took office, his administration stopped disclosing information on US forces in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and elsewhere.

Trump claimed it’s to maintain an “element of surprise.” The Pentagon said it won’t routinely announce or confirm information on numbers of US forces, their locations or movements in US war theaters.

Americans have a right to know if US service men and women are in harm’s way. The Trump administration believes otherwise.

The Pentagon failed to disclose thousands of airstrikes in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia and elsewhere – by warplanes, attack helicopters and drones.

Thousands of US special forces are deployed in scores of countries on every continent. According to Arms and Security Project at the Center for International Policy director William Hartung, “it is fair to say that the larger US military presence has, at a minimum, served as a recruiting tool for the growing number of terrorist groups operating in West Africa.”

The same is true in the Middle East, Central Asia and elsewhere. So-called counterterrorism operations are more about fostering what Washington claims to oppose.

On December 7, Stars and Stripes discussed a DOD Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) report, saying about 44,000 “unknown” US military personnel are deployed worldwide.

According to Pentagon spokesman Col. Rob Manning, “(w)e are not at a point where we can give numbers other than those officially stated,” adding:

The Defense Department aims to “balance informing the American public with the imperative of operational security and denying the enemy any advantage.”

Commenting on his administration’s strategy in Afghanistan and South Asia last August, Trump said “America hastily and mistakenly withdrew from Iraq” in 2011, adding:

It’s “counterproductive…for the United States to announce in advance the dates we intend to begin, or end, military options. We will not talk about numbers of troops or our plans for further military activities.”

“Conditions on the ground – not arbitrary timetables – will guide our strategy from now on. America’s enemies must never know our plans or believe they can wait us out. I will not say when we are going to attack, but attack we will.”

It was a declaration of escalated war against fictitious enemies, in current and new theaters, without explaining Washington supports the scourge of terrorism it claims to oppose.

The DMDC report indicated US military forces operate nearly everywhere, ranging from two liaison officers in Fiji to tens of thousands elsewhere.

Manning admitted US forces in Syria are fourfold the number reported. Greater numbers are in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere than publicly known.

The Pentagon claiming it doesn’t know precisely how many US forces are deployed abroad and where is part of its culture of secrecy – refusing to disclose information about its covert and various other operations.

America spends trillions of dollars on militarism, warmaking and state terror – the public, Congress and maybe Trump kept uninformed about ongoing operations.

Military Plans Counter-Coup for Trump (VIDEO)

Military Plans Counter-Coup for Trump (VIDEO) | Military-Logos-1024x682 | Conspiracy Corner Military Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests Trump US News

The Washington D.C. political “Establishment” really hates Donald Trump. The question is why? The answer is simple. He is a powerful outsider who intends to “Clean House” of establishment corruption on Day One of his presidency. This is precisely why the disreputably entrenched power-elite fear Trump so much. As such, we need to keep in mind that these dug in government criminals will uses every means necessary at their disposal to not get uprooted and maintain their positions of malfeasance.

When Hillary Clinton was arrogantly overconfident that she would easily win the presidential election, she challenged Donald Trump to promise to peacefully accept the Electoral College results, as she boldly proclaimed she would. CNN, whose own Chris Cuomo admitted on the air that the network had done everything in its power to help Hillary Clinton get elected, said in October that the accusation that Trump made that the election could be “hacked” in Clinton’s favor was “ludicrous”.

After Trump’s unforeseen victory, it is Hillary Clinton who now recants her pledge to peaceably accept the election results and it is CNN who flip-flops on the notion of election hacking.

This would be comical if it weren’t so sincere.

Who is the “Boogieman” who helped Trump win? You guessed it. The “Russians”. The source? The reputable CIA.

Here is a quote from Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and “Watergate” reporter Carl Bernstein . . .

“More than 400 ‘journalists’ (that we know of) have secretly carried out assignments for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), according to documents on file at CIA headquarters. In many instances, CIA documents show that ‘journalists’ were contracted to perform covert missions for the CIA with the consent of the managers of America’s leading ‘news’ organizations. Among the executives (that we know of) who lent their cooperation to the CIA, were the heads of Time Magazine, Newsweek, the New York Times, ABC, NBS, CBS, United Press International (UPI), and Reuters.”

As the CIA’s own records indicate, they are the ones who have, for decades, been responsible for not only lying to the public through the television “news”, they are actually the ones who have overthrown at least 57 country’s democratically (or otherwise) elected presidents, so why not this one? Remember, our Founding Fathers warned us of two enemies of freedom: Foreign and Domestic. We seem to always forget the latter with such CIA media misdirection of endless foreign boogieman paraded before us on television as scapegoats in order to divert attention from their own criminality and treason. Is it just a coincidence that president Kennedy was assassinated so neatly just days after ordering a major “House Cleaning” of the CIA, of whom lies, such as now, are their native language?

Wasn’t it the “reputable” CIA who said that American sailors were attacked by the Vietnamese to instigate the unpopular Vietnam War, only to acknowledge decades later that the attack was entirely staged by the CIA in order to garner public support for the war? Wasn’t it the “trustworthy” CIA who instigated the Iraq War as well, which lasted three times longer than World War Two, alleging “concrete proof” of weapons of mass destruction, which ended up being entirely fabricated? Is this who we are supposed to trust now, the same CIA who is so violently opposed to the man Trump just appointed over them, Mike Pompeo, to overhaul the integrity of the agency?

How did the alleged Russians supposedly “unfairly” influence the election in Trump’s favor? By giving “Wikileaks” TRUTHFUL information about Hillary Clinton’s corruption. Thusly, what Trump’s critics are actually saying, is that how dare THE TRUTH sway the election!

If there is an active secret pedophile in a neighborhood full of children, should you really care from where the information of such crimes comes??? Of course not! In the same way, if a corrupt politician, who is about to lay hold of the USA presidency, is secretly an habitual liar who underhandedly cheated her competitor out of their party’s nomination revealing their utter moral depravity, shouldn’t the public have a right to know in advance of voting for them?

Below you can see just how criminally rigged the Democratic Party system was for Hillary Clinton. In state after state where Bernie Sanders won the vote by a wide margin, Sanders nevertheless received fewer delegates. Is that honest? Why was this not responded to with FBI arrests? In Wyoming, for example, Sanders received 10% more votes than Clinton, yet Clinton received 80% more delegates! Even Democratically supportive television journalists were aghast at this blatant criminal behavior and said so on the air to no avail.

Former United Kingdom ambassador Craig Murray just acknowledged publicly that the hacking of the Democratic Party’s secretive emails which exposed their rampant corruption and deceit was NOT done by the “Russians”, rather by a disgruntled Democratic Party employee who favored Sanders. The Wikileaks founder even insinuated who it was, Seth Rich, who “coincidentally” ended up murdered shortly thereafter. Not a SINGLE mainstream media outlet (because they are controlled by the CIA propagating the opposite lie) reported this important and highly relevant disclosure from ambassador Murray!

All of this CIA propaganda through their co-opted media is centered around their “Hail-Mary” desperate eleventh hour attempt to sway at least 37 Republican electors to vote for Hillary Clinton on December 19th. After this, January 6th is when the House of Representatives “verifies” the electoral vote, which is their second to the last ditch effort. Finally, January 19th, is the last day the outgoing president can do anything about Trump’s inaugural, scheduled for the following day.

The CIA’s nemesis, the FBI, who is more responsible for tanking Hillary Clinton’s campaign than the Russians, as scores of disgruntled agents threatened resignation if their director did not prosecute Clinton as she deserved, rejects the idea of Russian involvement in the election, calling the notion “Fuzzy” and “Ambiguous”. The belated cry being made by the losing Elitists is that Trump is “unfit” to be president, even though running multi-billion dollar enterprises may make him the most qualified president of all time, forgetting themselves that just because you were once married to a president doesn’t qualify you to be one.

The idea that Trump is a racist simply because he asked for proof that a political opponent (who happened to be black) was eligible to run based on his origin of birth, is not supported by the fact that Trump asked the very same thing of political opponent Ted Cruz who was white and proved to be born in Canada. This would mean that if you search for facts, from a person who happens to be black, then you are a racist.  Many forget that if Hillary’s own Democratic Party wasn’t so supportive of “Planned Parenthood” over the last one hundred years, which the Republicans are against, an organization which terminates the pregnancies of African Americans Five Times more often than that of Caucasians, which is the very reason why the racist agency was created in the first place, then African Americans would now be the majority of the American population!  It is actually the Democrats who are opposed to this demographic reality of blacks in the majority, though they slyly pander to blacks for their votes anyway, unbeknownst for their actual undoing. Who then is really the racist, Democrats or Republicans, the latter of whom freed the American slaves under Lincoln?  (Probably both, as Republicans only have about 1% of their members African American.)

When well-known black Democrats, such as TV host Larry Wilmore, publicly acknowledged that the only reason they voted for Barack Obama was because he was black, and yet they are not called racists or lose their jobs because of such public racial bias, which would definitely befall a white colleague who said the same for Romney, you can see that a double standard of “racism” is in existence. Did the KKK protest outside the White House when Obama was elected twice? No. Did the KKK beat up Obama supporters? No. Those who biasedly call Trump or his supporters “racist” without proof are acting more violently against their opposition than the KKK did when Obama won, proving that it is they who are the racists and fanatics.

The simple fact remains that the Democrats lost because Hillary Clinton is corrupt, and enough Americans recognized this fact for it to make a difference, especially their own Sanders supporters who voted for Trump because of this. Clinton supporters are simply mad because a disgruntled Sanders supporter within their own party released proof of her criminality. To blame the Russians for it or to say that Trump is a racist because he challenged a black political opponent with the same vigor as a white political opponent, in a lame attempt to sway public opinion against him, is simply juvenile and futile.

Sources have told me that this desperate attempt by the corrupt Washington D.C. Political “Establishment” to cheat in the election after the fact, would be met by ardent military support on the side of Trump.

Military Plans Counter-Coup for Trump (VIDEO) | Electorial-Map-300x179 | Conspiracy Corner Military Multimedia Sleuth Journal Special Interests Trump US News

The truth is 2,623 United States counties voted for Trump and only 489 counties voted for Clinton. This is an 84% difference. This is why the Founding Fathers drafted the Electoral College, so that a few geographic locations could not dictate their demands to the vast majority of locations elsewhere. A mere 2% discrepancy in the popular vote for Clinton is not worthy of a coup compared to the geographical difference of 84% toward Trump. These are the rules of the game. It is highly unscrupulous to attempt to change the rules of the game after agreeing to play by them and losing, revealing again the consistently unconscionable character of Clinton.

Hillary Clinton repeatedly won more electoral delegates than Bernie Sanders, even though she repeatedly lost the vote to him by a wide margin, specifically because Clinton and the “Elites” rigged the system that way so that an outsider would have little chance of winning. Now she wants to rig the national election after the fact like a sore loser. Get some dignity please, and be warned by this author that the military core of the armed forces have personally advised me that such shenanigans will be cut off at the pass by swift constitutionally devout Generals.

Let it be known that as an “Independent”, I have voted both “Democratic” and “Republican” in the past, hoping that an “outsider” might make a difference, only to be dramatically disappointed both times. I no longer vote due to the lack of Christianity in both political parties, yet pray for whichever leader is elected to do what is right. If I had voted in the last election, and it was Trump vs Sanders, I would have flipped a coin, satisfied either way to have a “non-establishment” candidate have a turn for a change.  I only submit the above commentary to demonstrate the duplicity in this most recent post-election cycle.  The political party names or distinctions of the criminals involved, change every four to eight years, thereby voting on “party-lines”, rather than on the merits of the individual, is explicitly dangerous.

The fact is, we really don’t know the people we vote for or what their future decisions will be, so why risk being a party to their possible corruption and genocide?  Voting for someone we do not know personally, is like giving a stranger a loaded gun.  Better to not get involved, or we are partially liable for their potential future criminality.

I will discuss all this, and much more, in this week’s episode of Conspiracy Corner News.

America and Britain Arm and Train Saudi’s Military

America and Britain Arm and Train Saudi’s Military | British-army-v2 | Military Sleuth Journal Special Interests US News World News

[image: British troops have trained soldiers in Yemen, China and Sudan, among others / Getty]

Both countries supply Riyadh with billions of dollars worth of weapons and munitions annually – fueling its killing machine, including by training its personnel.

Pentagon contractors are involved, cashing in on Saudi wealth. San Diego-based Kratos Defense & Security Solutions will be the prime contractor involved in training Riyadh’s navy.

The kingdom requested continuation of a naval training program inside and outside the country – so its naval forces can carry out missions in Yemen and elsewhere, massacring civilians, blockading the country.

Under the United States Military Training Mission to Saudi Arabia, USMTM trains, advises and assists the kingdom’s armed forces, including through military exercises and related activities.

USMTM is a joint US army, navy, air force and marine corps joint command, an extensive arrangement with the kingdom since the 1950s – under the 1951 Mutual Defense Assistance Agreement and later USMTM agreement.

It’s a fundamental component of the US/Saudi military relationship – negotiated by Franklin Roosevelt and Saudi king Abdul Aziz.

According to London’s Daily Mail, Britain is secretly training Saudi’s military, aiding its genocidal war in Yemen.

Dozens of UK military personnel are “teaching battlefield skills to soldiers who will be deployed in the so-called ‘dirty war,’ “ the Daily Mail explained – responsible for high crimes of war and against humanity.

Saudi terror-bombing massacres civilians daily. Blockade and war-related violence caused an epic humanitarian disaster, countless thousands of Yemenis perishing, millions facing potential starvation, young children harmed most.

Tory MP/former development secretary Andrew Mitchell blasted what he called “Britain’s ’shameful complicity’ in the suffering” of the Yemeni people.

Mistakenly released UK photos and information revealed its training mission – codenamed Operation Crossways.

Mitchell demanded Theresa May’s government explain Britain’s involvement in the war, flagrant international crimes, saying:

“I have no doubt parliament will require an explanation of this training mission in view of the high level of concern about the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Yemen.”

Washington and Britain are longstanding imperial partners, waging war in multiple countries, including their diabolical involvement in Yemen.

Civilians are being massacred and starved to death. Every day, nearly 650 Yemenis children “are diagnosed as acutely malnourished,” according to the Daily Mail.

US and UK complicity in what’s going is the shame of both nations.

Their silence shows contempt for millions of suffering Yemenis – many perishing daily, young children most of all, a child dying every 10 minutes.

President Trump Accelerates Drone Strikes In Somalia

President Trump’s expansion of war is most evident in the skies of Somalia where an acceleration in drone strikes have been reported.

U.S. Africa Command has conducted fourteen airstrikes since August bringing the year’s total to eighteen. The increased tempo of airstrikes started in September between the Kismayo and Mogadisu region.

Earlier this month, we reported on Trump’s administration hitting a new milestone - when U.S. Africa Command launched its first airstrike against the Islamic State-linked fighters - further accelerating the US presence..

Defense One highlights this momentous achievement…

U.S. Africa Command has released data on 18 strikes this year, more than four times the average over the previous seven years.

The escalation of U.S. Africa Command presence in Somalia was made possible by president Trump’s order in March that ”allows the U.S. Department of Defense to conduct lethal action against al-Shabaab within a geographically-defined area of active hostilities in support of partner forces in Somalia.”

Defense One outlines a majority of the airstrikes have been situated around Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia where a mixture of Al-Shabab attack zones and support zones reside.

Back in October, Al-Shabab blew up a truck bomb in the capital killing 300 making it one of the nation’s worst terrorist attack ever. The devastating bombing was in response to President Trump and Somalia’s newly elected president forming new military efforts to combat the rise in Islamic State-linked fighters in the country.

Drones have been responsible for most of the airstrikes and what the report states it’s impossible to verify how many ‘extremist’ have been killed.

Defense One notes,

The Bureau for Investigative Journalism estimates that the strikes have killed as few as 88 people and as many as 124. The group also says it has tracked nearly 30 strikes for 2017, about a dozen more than the Pentagon claims.

Micah Zenko, a writer at foreignpolicy.com, outlines (dated Nov 09) that in 5+ months Trump has bombed Somalia 17 times verse Obama bombed Somalia 29 times in 7+years. The explanation for Trump’s rapid bombardment is the geographical spread of  strikes in the country is much larger, plus he authorized a new enemy back in March - ISIS.

Earlier this year, the US military reported about 50 US troops were stationed in Somalia providing training and advice for the Somali military, but as of lately the figure now stands at 500.

Before President Trump, the US military has always maintained a small presence in the region. Now it seems with the geographical spread larger and a new enemy in the region defined; the endless wars will most certainly continue further enriching the US-military industrial complex.

Fat Leonard Scandal

Fat Leonard Scandal | fat-leonard | Military Pentagon Politics Special Interests

It’s one of numerous examples of deep-seated US public and private corruption.

Exposing some wrongdoing leaves most of it ignored and unchecked. Most often, ordinary people alone are held accountable for misconduct, much of it too minor to matter like illicit drug use and petty theft.

Targeting higher-ups when it happens is the exception proving the rule that most members of America’s privileged class are untouchable.

It’s especially so when guilty of high crimes like naked aggression, ecocide, and Wall Street grand theft, manipulating markets and scamming investors for big profits, making money the old-fashioned way by stealing it.

The Washington Post reported on the Fat Leonard scandal last year, much more on it this week.

In June 2016 it reported about 350-pound Malaysian national maritime tycoon dubbed Fat Leonard Francis’ dubious dealings – seducing US Navy admirals and other officers with bribes, sex, wining and dining, describing him as “legendary on the high seas for his charm and appetite for excess,” adding:

“For years, the Singapore-based businessman had showered navy officers with gifts, epicurean dinners, prostitutes and, if necessary, cash bribes so they would look the other way while he swindled the navy to refuel and resupply its ships.”

In September 2013, he was lured to San Diego, California, arrested in his hotel suite, along with others involved in his scam.

Documents incriminating his shenanigans were seized. His arrest “exposed…a staggering degree of corruption within the US Navy itself,” said WaPo.

In November 2013, one of my articles headlined Massive Pentagon Waste, Fraud and Grand Theft, explaining a black hole of Pentagon unaccountability, wasting trillions of dollars.

Sweetheart deals, bribes and kickbacks are commonplace. So is routine contractor over-billing. Unaccountability is standard practice. The Defense Department has a virtual blank check, mafia operations small business by comparison.

Huge Pentagon amounts are spent on what’s not needed, no congressional oversight checking out-of-control waste, fraud and abuse – $600 toilet seats and $7,600 coffee makers pocket change compared to big bucks scammed from taxpayers.

It’s been going on for decades, the Fat Leonard scandal a drop in a huge bucket.

On November 5, WaPo headlined “ ‘Fat Leonard’ probe expands to ensnare more than 60 admirals,” saying:

“(H)undreds of other US Navy officers under scrutiny for their contacts with” with Francis. His seduction included “alcohol-soaked, after-dinner parties, which often featured imported prostitutes and sometimes lasted for days, according to federal court records.”

Fat Leonard or Leonard the Legend was known in navy circles “for his wild-side lifestyle, spent decades cultivating relationships with officers, many of whom developed a blind spot to his fraudulent ways.”

“Even while he and his firm were being targeted by Navy criminal investigators, he received VIP invitations to ceremonies in Annapolis and Pearl Harbor, where he hobnobbed with four-star admirals, according to photographs obtained by The Washington Post.”

In 2013, Justice Department charges were filed against him and 28 others, including two admirals – the case called the worst corruption scandal in navy history.

Not exactly as explained above – out-of-control Pentagon corruption ongoing for decades, a multi-trillion dollar scam to this day.

The Navy Department is reviewing the conduct of 440 other active duty and retired personnel, including 60 current and former admirals, WaPo explained – only 10 individuals identified, few details provided.

Only five so far face charges, notably no admirals, 40 others for ethical misconduct, not accusations of criminality.

The Defense Department, Pentagon and military branches are notorious for coverup and denial of offenses that would land ordinary people in prison longterm.

The Fat Leonard scandal has been around for over four years. In 2015, he pleaded guilty to bribery and defrauding the navy of over $35 million.

He’s jailed in San Diego awaiting sentencing. His notorious activities and widespread over-billing was “an open secret for years,” said WaPo, complaints dating from 2006.

He’ll likely be imprisoned, perhaps paroled later on. Indicting and convicting culpable admirals is highly unlikely – other than perhaps one or two hung out to dry. Even then, they’re unlikely to end up behind bars.

With rare exceptions, small fries alone are prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned, the way US “justice” commonly works.

Here"s What We Know About Texas Church Shooter Devin Kelley

Update: Officials revealed Monday that Kelley had sent threatening text messages to his mother-in-law, who was a parishoner at First Baptist church.

Devin Patrick Kelley “made threatening text?s? to ?his ?mother in law who went to ?the ?church,” said Texas Department of Public Safety regional director Freeman Martin. The woman, who was not named, attends the church but was not there during the massacre Sunday, authorities said. Martin would not say whether the woman’s membership with the church motivated Kelley.

“We know that he expressed anger toward his mother-in-law.”

* * *

The deranged gunman who killed 26 churchgoers and wounded 20 more at a church in rural east Texas Sunday was an atheist who ranted on Facebook about “stupid” religious people, according to a now-deleted Facebook account that appears to be Kelley’s.

Judging by his social media presence, 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley was a fan of guns; the cover photo from his Facebook profile showed an assault rifle. Meanwhile, the Sun reported that the page featured an Antifascist Action banner, which sparked speculation online about his ties to left-wing groups like Antifa.

However, since the screenshot was first circulated, a number of reports in fact-checking media have debunked it as a doctored image spread by right-wing activists. No official information about Kelley’s possible affiliation with any group or political movement has been made available.

Former classmates of the shooter described him as “creepy” and “weird.” Classmate Nina Rosa Nava write on Facebook that the mass murderer used to rant on the social network about his atheist beliefs. It has also been reported that Kelley’s in-laws attended First Baptist Church, but weren’t there at the time of the shooting.

“He was always talking about how people who believe in God were stupid and trying to preach his atheism,” Nava posted on her Facebook.

One former classmate, Christopher Leo Longoria, replied: “I removed him off FB for those same reasons! He was being super nagtive (sic) all the timd (sic)."

Another Facebook friend of the killer added: “He was weird but never that damn weird, always posting his atheist sh-- like Nina wrote, but damn he always posted pics of him and his baby - crazy."

Many of Kelley"s acquaintances said they never expected he would be capable of murder on such a destructive scale.

“There were people I knew who stayed away from this guy for many reasons, which all make sense now. He just requested me on Facebook recently," one friend said.

Another said: “"He was the first atheist I met. He went Air Force after high school, got discharged but I don"t know why."

As it turns out, Kelley was court-martialed in 2012 for two counts of Article 128 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, assault on his spouse and assault on their child, according to CNN. He received a bad conduct discharge as a result, confinement for 12 months and a reduction in rank. The Air Force has not released a date of the discharge.

After his stint with the US military, Kelly reportedly taught at a summer Bible school. It is unknown if he was religious or not, as a screenshot of his Facebook groups list shows he was a member of at least four groups on atheism. Kelley worked as a security guard for a Texas waterpark this past summer, according to a resume under his name that appeared online.

Kelley was married, with CBS reporting his wife’s name as Danielle Lee Shields. Information about their shared child wasn’t immediately available. Kelley purchased the Ruger AR-556 rifle in April 2016 from an Academy Sports & Outdoors store in San Antonio, a law enforcement official told CNN.

When Kelley filled out the background check paperwork at the store, he checked the box to indicate he didn"t have disqualifying criminal history, the official said. He listed an address in Colorado Springs, Colorado when he bought the rifle, the official said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday said there was a connection between the "very deranged individual" and the church where the slayings took place.

"I don"t think the church was just randomly attacked," he said. "I think there was a reason why the shooter chose this church."

However, Abbott said Kelley was denied a Texas gun permit.

Another classmate told Fox News that Kelley had a history of mental illness, and had been on psychiatric medication for a period.

“His parents had him on high doses of ‘psych’ meds from 6th to 9th grade, the time I knew him,” said the student, who only wished to be identified as Reid. He added that Kelley’s aggressive posts about atheism caused many of his former classmates to stop talking to, or unfriend, him. Another classmate who spoke to Fox News and wished to remain anonymous described Kelley as a quiet student, though he had his share of friends.

“He recently added me on [Facebook]. I accepted hence we went to school together, and any time I saw him on my timeline he was sharing stuff about guns and being Atheist,” she said. “He was pretty negative. The last post I remember was of a rifle."

President Donald Trump said the Sunday church shooting “isn’t a gun situation” but rather a “mental health problem.”He called the attacker a “very deranged individual” with “a lot of problems over a long period of time."

“We could go into [gun control policy], but it’s a little bit too soon,” he said. The president cited reports about an unnamed man who confronted the shooter, saying the attack otherwise “would have been much worse."

Kelley was wielding an assault rifle when he went on a shooting rampage in the church, with Freeman Martin, the DPS Regional Director, saying that police discovered “multiple weapons” in his car. The shooter was reportedly wearing tactical gear, including a bulletproof vest and a black mask with a skull on it, an outfit that reportedly aroused suspicion at a gas station across the street from the Church where the shooter visited before starting his rampage.  It’s unclear how he obtained the weapons because the Gun Control Act of 1968 explicitly prohibits licensed sellers from selling firearms or ammunition to persons who have “been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions." But it appears he did in fact purchase them from a gun store despite these violations, as ABC pointed out. One CNN analyst said it"s likely the guns were fraudulently purchased. The local sheriff confirmed that Kelley shot and killed himself.

Kelley lived in nearby New Braunfels, Texas, where he had also gone to high school. Kelley fled First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs after being shot by a neighbor. In a panic, he called his father to say goodbye.

During a Monday morning press conference, a police spokesperson said investigators had discovered there was a "domestic situation" unfolding within Kelley"s family, but declined to elaborate. Police added that the deceased ranged in age from 18 months to 77 years, and that between 12 and 14 children were among the dead. Meanwhile, 10 people remain in critical condition. While they"re investigating, the shooter"s exact motive remains unclear, police said.

Is The U.S. Navy Being Truthful With Its Report On Recent Crash Incidents?

Authored by Duance Norman via Free Market Shooter blog,

Recently, Free Market Shooter (as well as the US Navy) questioned the cause of a string of crashes involving Navy destroyers and cruisers... all occurring this year:

Recently, the US military, unable to come up with a cause for the incidents, began investigating something else – “compromised computer systems”:

The military is examining whether compromised computer systems were responsible for one of two U.S. Navy destroyer collisions with merchant vessels that occurred in recent months, Vice Admiral Jan Tighe, the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare, said on Thursday.

Naval investigators are scrambling to determine the causes of the mishaps, including whether hackers infiltrated the computer systems of the USS John S. McCain ahead of the collision on Aug. 21, Tighe said during an appearance at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.

The presumption that has been made is that these vessels are being hacked, China is the responsible party, given the proximity of the vessel crashes to the nation, as well as recent incidents where the US and China have butted heads.  But it is worth asking; are these vessels being hacked?  More importantly, if they are being hacked, who is hacking the vessels, and why?

However, this author did not discount other possible causes for the incidents, including complacent Navy sailors…

It is also worth noting that US Navy vessels do not broadcast an AIS signal (which can be seen on www.marinetraffic.com) with their respective position, like nearly all other vessels, due to obvious security/defense reasons. You almost never hear news of large commercial ships crashing into each other, which is due not just to AIS, but due to the fact that they actively try to broadcast their position by other means, such as running lights.

Which brings in the possibility of simple human error from US Navy operators as being the cause of these crashes.  Could it be that simple complacency and/or lack of proper training has resulted in these incidents? Given the professionalism of our military, that seems unlikely, but it wouldn’t be the first (and almost certainly won’t be the last) time it has happened.

…a theme which was commonly brought up in responses to this article after it was posted on The Burning Platform:

  • Here’s a more likely scenario – its driven and manned by a bunch of incompetent sailors, who very well may have gotten there through some kind of affirmative action nonsense, or social promotion, where pople get qualifications on things they aren’t competent enough to handle because no CO wants to get accused of racism or sexism for failing a black/women/whatever person on the oral board for underway watches. I’ve never been in the Navy, but I’ve seen it, many times. People given way more responsiblity that they are competent to handle, and you just sit back and wait for them to do something stupid, while hoping no one gets hurt. Also, they are probably spending more time doing mandated training on SJW type nonsense than learning how to sail their boat.

  • Never attribute something to highly complex malice when it can easily be contributed to stupidity and/or incompetence. Thats how Occam would slice it.

  • A complete breakdown in seafaring culture, from top to bottom. The lookouts either failed or had their reports ignored. The radarmen failed to kep track. The bridge lookouts failed, the officer of the deck failed, and the C/O failed by not ensuring that he had competent people at every position. His C/O failed because he knew that the ship captain was incapable of taut management, and likely knew that many of the junior officers and petty officers were untrained and incompetent.

  • A complete failure of culture. God help them if they become hard targets in a shooting engagement.

  • I’ve worked on vessels in the oil field my whole life and have seen the decline in discipline and accountability. With so many wireless devices it’s almost impossible to keep people focused on their task. If they would disconnect the internet from these vessels and keel hull a few of the captains most of the problem would go away.

  • Hacking, GPS spoofing, etc are all things that should be investigated. However IMO they are unlikely. What seems more likely to me is there is a breakdown of operational discipline.

  • However this was brought on is open for much debate. A large factor that I think contributes, is the shift away from the military from being an instrument of death to our enemies to a global force for good and social engineering experiments.

And in the case of the USS Fitzgerald and USS John S. McCain, the Navy has ruled that incompetence was indeed the cause of the incidents:

The collision between Fitzgerald and Crystal was avoidable and resulted from an accumulation of smaller errors over time, ultimately resulting in a lack of adherence to sound navigational practices. Specifically, Fitzgerald’s watch teams disregarded established norms of basic contact management and, more importantly, leadership failed to adhere to well-established protocols put in place to prevent collisions. In addition, the ship’s triad was absent during an evolution where their experience, guidance and example would have greatly benefited the ship.

The collision between John S. McCain and Alnic MC was also avoidable and resulted primarily from complacency, over-confidence and lack of procedural compliance. A major contributing factor to the collision was sub-standard level of knowledge regarding the operation of the ship control console. In particular, McCain’s commanding officer disregarded recommendations from his executive officer, navigator and senior watch officer to set sea and anchor watch teams in a timely fashion to ensure the safe and effective operation of the ship. With regard to procedures, no one on the Bridge watch team, to include the commanding officer and executive officer, were properly trained on how to correctly operate the ship control console during a steering casualty.

Is the Navy being truthful in its assessment of these incidents?  More than likely, yes.  But it should be acknowledged that the Navy could be “covering up” another cause of the incident, which could be anything from the aforementioned hacking, to problems with the Navy’s Aegis system, as was previously stated on Free Market Shooter:

A far more likely scenario is that there is a problem with the Aegis system and/or other navigation systems on US naval vessels. The US Navy, known to cover up all sorts of problems in the past, would have every reason to mask the true reason behind these collisions if they are tied to a defective weapons system. Notably, the unreliable nature of the US ground-based interceptor program under questionable test conditions has led many to believe that the system is just another failed defense project sucking up billions of taxpayer dollars.  It is not far-fetched to believe that one of our deployed systems is operating with a serious defect that has been swept under the rug by the DoD.

It is also worth acknowledging that if hacking indeed was to blame, the Navy would not acknowledge it publicly.  If hacking was the culprit, the Navy would not want the enemy to know that it had isolated the issue and corrected it, allowing the enemy to go along in the belief that they could continue to compromise Navy vessels.

However, in the cases of all of these US Navy crashes, the simplest explanation is likely the correct one, and the simplest explanation is the one that the Navy provided – a complete breakdown in seafaring culture.  Still, it has to be acknowledged that the Navy could be covering for a far larger problem.
