Toronto Mass Homicide: Van Attack Leaves 10 Dead And 15 Injured

A mass homicide in Toronto is not being plastered all over mainstream media, because the homicidal maniac who committed this atrocity used a van, not a gun as his weapon. The attack has left ten people dead and another 15 injured.

You may have heard this mentioned, but there won’t be calls to ban or regulate gas tank sizes on vans in the wake of this mass homicide.  (Who needs a 20-gallon fuel tank anyway?)

Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders said that the suspected driver, Alek Minassian, 25, of Richmond Hill, Ontario, was in custody. Minassian was arrested in a white rental van less than 30 minutes after police received a 911 call about him striking pedestrians with a van, Saunders said.

Proving that guns aren’t the problem, the problem is psychopaths who kill other people, authorities said Minassian left a “trail of destruction” over one mile long in Toronto without using a gun.  The suspect was also previously known to Toronto authorities.

Deputy Police Chief Peter Yuen said police received calls around 1:30 p.m. that a vehicle was driving on Yonge Street, striking pedestrians. Police said the collisions happened in the North York area at the busy intersection of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.

“Based on witness accounts, we have a vehicle that started north on Yonge Street from Finch and drove southbound at some point in times on sidewalks, at some point in times driving southbound in northbound lanes,” Saunders said.  “So, it’s very clear just from a general perspective to say that the actions definitely look deliberate.” At this point, “There would appear to be no national security connection” to the incident, said Ralph Goodale, Canada’s minister of public safety and emergency preparedness.

Now, if the gun control activists reacted to this tragedy the way they do to crazy people shooting ten people, they’de say: “but thoughts and prayers don’t stop tragedies.  What about laws making it illegal to rent vans instead?’  But we know now for certain that they don’t want to stop atrocities from happening, they only want the government to have all the guns – which historically, has not worked out very well for the general public. 

This van attack is a horrific mass homicide and ten people are permanently gone because of the actions of one maniac.  That should never be downgraded just because his weapon of choice didn’t fit the mainstream media’s communist agenda.  Thoughts and prayers for all of those affected by this disgusting act of malice.

Kankakee, IL – An extreme joy ride caught on police dash camera revealed a low-speed chase with a bulldozer that eventually crushed a police cruiser when cops attempted to stop the dozer by pulling a vehicle in front of the stolen construction vehicle.

After the Kankakee Police Department initially told WLS-TC that no video of the incident existed, they later relinquished the footage to the station—without explaining why they initially denied there was a video.

Police investigators now say footage of the early morning Aug. 24 incident shows Austin White, 18, engaging in a low-speed chase with police while driving a bulldozer stolen from a construction site.

The comical video footage shows multiple officers chasing the construction vehicle down the street, and includes numerous angles of the chase.

During the chase, one officer had the bright idea to pull his police cruiser in front of the 20-ton bulldozer in an effort to block White’s escape, which resulted in the vehicle being crushed under the construction vehicle.

Officers continued to pursue the construction vehicle for another 12 blocks, as police can be seen attempting to jump onto the dozer.

Eventually, White stopped the vehicle. Immediately, police pulled him from the cab and hit him with a Taser.

Police say that White, who is being charged with driving under the influence of drugs, has never had a driver’s license, and that he is currently being held on six felony charges, including attempted murder, criminal damage to property and theft.

White should consider himself lucky, as one of the most commonly used reasons for justifying police killings is “he or she used their vehicle as a weapon.”

This tactic of American police, to claim their lives were endangered because someone attempted to drive off, has become quite familiar. It is also considerably successful at exonerating killer cops.

Over the past few years, there have been numerous cases in which we’ve seen unarmed individuals, killed while in their vehicles, by fearful trigger-happy cops. One of the most widely covered of those cases is that of Samuel Dubose, who was killed by officer Ray Tensing. Despite the fact that Tensing was in no danger of being run over, he shot and killed the Dubose.

Another tragic case of police killing an unarmed man in a car is that of Zachary Hammond, who was shot in the side and back while trying to flee by vehicle, by an officer attempting to arrest his date for a small amount of marijuana.

In yet another heartbreaking case, a mother concerned about her son’s erratic behavior called authorities in hopes of getting her son a medical evaluation. Instead of medical evaluation, however, her son John Barry, 33, was gunned down as he attempted to back out of a parking space—with officers unloading dozens of rounds into the mentally ill man.

Thankfully, in this case, police showed remarkable restraint, as they likely could have shot and killed White only to be later exonerated.

Cops Mistake 81yo Grandma in Her Backyard for a ‘Suspect’ Have K9 Maul Her

Coon Rapids, MN — An 81-year-old grandma was hospitalized this week after she was attacked by a police K9 while cleaning her shed in her own backyard. Police are now claiming that they ‘acted appropriately’ when they unleashed their dog on this innocent woman.

Choua Xiong got up early Sunday morning to clean out her shed in her backyard. She had done nothing wrong and posed no threat, when police, looking for a ‘suspect’, entered her backyard without a warrant and unleashed their K9 on her.

According to police, a neighbor called 9-1-1 after she saw a suspicious person in a black coat in her backyard. The caller said she heard a loud noise outside but couldn’t tell where it came from. As police investigated, they entered Xiong’s yard and saw a person in her shed. That person was Xiong.

Xiong, who is hard of hearing, did not hear the officers calling for her to come out of the shed. According to police, they yelled for the ‘suspect’ to come out of the shed 10-15 times, however, no one emerged — so they unleashed the dog.

Instead of entering the shed to see if it could’ve been a child with headphones on — or an innocent old woman who was hard of hearing — police sent in their K9 to tear apart whoever it was that couldn’t hear their demands to come out.

The officers could’ve simply waited for the ‘suspect’ to come out of the shed as well. However, they chose to rush to violent escalation. From the time police entered Xiong’s back yard to the time they unleashed the K9 was less than 10 minutes.

“They didn’t see her in the storage. They just see the flashlight. That’s what they told us,” WaamXee Xiong, Xiong’s grandson said. “If you don’t see nothing and you just see some people inside, why did you let your K-9 go in there?”

To add insult to injury, after siccing the K9 on the 81-year-old grandma, they continued to treat her as a suspect. As she is bleeding profusely from the attack, Xiong was then dragged across the yard with so much force and violence that her knees were bruised and her ankle was sprained.

After they had captured their ‘suspect’, it took police nearly 30 minutes to realize that Xiong lived at the house. Thankfully, her grandson WaamXee showed up to tell the officer she’d been cleaning her shed. Forty minutes after being viciously attacked by a police dog and assaulted by police, Xiong was finally brought the hospital.

When news of the story was posted on social media, naturally, the residents of Coon Rapids expressed their outrage. However, the department responded by calling the incident unfortunate but quickly noted that the officers did everything right.

The department understands there is public concern on social media about the way this incident appears at first glance. However, with the facts the officers were dealing with at the time, including dispatch information and assessment of the scene, they responded to the incident in an appropriate manner. Officers are trained to speak clear, simple commands in the hopes that officers can be understood when they are dealing with people on calls. It is always our goal to have a safe outcome for all citizens and officers, no matter the circumstances….

The Coon Rapids Police Department takes reports of suspicious activity very seriously and appreciates the public’s help in alerting officers to suspicious situations. In this case, officers responded to the suspicious person report that occurred at a time of day and under circumstances that led officers to believe they were interrupting a burglary in progress. In this context, officers acted appropriately. Witness reports state K-9 warnings and yelling could be heard loudly in the area as several neighbors woke up to the noise and began turning lights on.

The family has not yet decided if they’ll file a lawsuit or a complaint. However, it is clear that the police will not be held accountable and the only ones who will suffer for this irresponsible act will be the taxpayers and the victim.

Arizona trooper shot in ambush attack; Good Samaritan kills gunman

TONOPAH, Ariz. (KABC) —

An Arizona trooper trying to help a motorist in a rollover crash was shot in an ambush-style attack by a random suspect, who was then fatally shot by a Good Samaritan driving by.

The trooper with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) was at a traffic stop when he received a report about a driver whose car was shot at near a median at milepost 81 on Interstate 10, reported ABC15, an ABC affiliate in Arizona.

The trooper left the traffic stop to investigate this call when he came across a rollover crash and saw that a woman had been ejected from the wreckage.

When the trooper began working to block lanes, a suspect came from an unknown direction and “ambushed” him, according to DPS.

The suspect shot him at least once in the chest-shoulder area and fought the trooper to the ground.

A passerby saw the fight unfolding and stopped to render aid to the trooper, who asked for help.

However, the suspect ignored the Good Samaritan’s orders to stop attacking the trooper.

That’s when the passerby went to his car, grabbed a gun and fatally shot the suspect, reported ABC15.

DPS said the injured trooper, who has been with the department for 27 years, was taken to an area hospital, where he was awaiting surgery. He is in stable condition.

The woman who was ejected in the rollover crash died from her injuries, authorities said. The cause of the wreck was not known.

DPS Col. Frank Milstead said he has yet to speak to the passerby, but he had this message for him:

“Thank you because I don’t know if my trooper would be alive today without your assistance.”

The incident was under investigation.
