US Ambassador Calls Own 2015 Statement "Fake News"; Things Then Rapidly Go South

The new US ambassador to the Netherlands, Pete Hoekstra, is not off to a good start following an international embarrassment on Dutch TV in which he smugly denied every saying there are no-go zones in the Netherlands - calling the suggestion "fake news."

Hoekstra - former congressman (R-MI) and chair of the House Intelligence Committee for two years, was asked by Dutch journalist Wouter Zwart of news program Nieuwsuur about comments he made in 2015: 

Zwart: “You mentioned in a debate that there are no-go zones in the Netherlands, and that cars and politicians are being set on fire in the Netherlands.”

 

Hoekstra: "I didn"t say that. This is actually an incorrect statement. We would call it fake news." 

Zwart then shows Hoekstra a clip of him saying exactly that: 

"The Islamic movement has now gotten to a point where they have put Europe into chaos. Chaos in the Netherlands, there are cars being burnt, there are politicians that are being burnt ... and yes there are no-go zones in the Netherlands" -Pete Hoekstra, 2015

A still-smug Hoekstra deadpans to Zwart, denying that he used the phrase fake news. "I didn"t call that fake news. I didn"t use the words today. I don"t think I did." 

Hoekstra - born in Groningen, Netherlands, was sworn in on December 11th by Mike Pence. In response, he said that he "made certain remarks in 2015 and regret the exchange during the Nieuwsuur interview. Please accept my apology."

Ironically, as it turns out, there are several parts of The Netherlands which aren"t quite classified as "no-go" zones, but whose residents are approximately 80% immigrants. In 2007, The Netherlands Housing Ministry identified 40 "problem districts" to be transformed into "dream districts." In a now-deleted (but archived) article, Dutch news outlet RTL Niews published 20 of the districts.

RTL Niews requested that the government release a ranking of the list from best to worst, which the Council of State - the highest court in the country, forbade.

Islam is the second largest religion in the Netherlands, practiced by around 4 percent of the population. There are currently 47,500 refugees in the Netherlands - nearly twice the number from just three years ago. Under a 2008 regulation, working refugees in the Netherlands pay a 75% tax on their income to cover the cost of food and living expenses, as well as declare any savings or valuables they bring into the country. Asylum seekers are allowed to work for up to 24 weeks per year after they have been in the country for six months.

In 2014, three Dutch citizens were arrested on suspicion of recruiting for ISIS in order to assist its armed struggles in Syria and Iraq - leading many to call The Hague "jihad city" and "sharia triangle." 

One of those detained is 32-year-old Azzedine Choukoud, known as Abou Moussa, a charismatic Dutchman of Moroccan descent. He has been involved in demonstrations in recent years, and has been in contact with fighters in Syria. In a YouTube video, he congratulated the Muslim community on the establishment of the caliphate in Iraq and Syria. A few young men hold up a black IS flag in the background.

 

They come from Schilderswijk neighbourhood, which the media have renamed the "sharia triangle". This neighbourhood primarily houses immigrants, as do many neighbourhoods in large Dutch cities - in this case more than 90 percent of the population are immigrants. Dissatisfaction is common and unemployment, crime, and poverty rates are higher than in the rest of the country.

In 2013, calls for an urgent debate in the Dutch parliament over the integration of Muslim immigrants after an area near the Hague known locally as "the Sharia triangle" is being run by a form of "Sharia police." 

The claims relate to the district of Schilderswijk, about two kilometres from the city centre, where an almost entirely Muslim population of some 5,000 people surrounds the El Islam mosque, fuelling criticism that the government has failed to ensure a proper ethnic mix in schools and local housing. One recent investigation, in which local people were extensively interviewed, concluded that Schilderswijk had become “orthodox Muslim territory” which was now largely ignored by the city authorities, by politicians and even by the police, on the grounds that it had become self-regulating. -Irish Times

The orthodox Muslims had become so dominant in the area that they were dictating neighborhood attire and behavior. In one incident, a local woman claimed that her daughter was approached and told that her short skirt was inappropriate, while her son had been called a "kaffir," a racist term used against non-Muslims.

"Another man said he felt he was gradually being driven out of his home because he had a dog, and many traditional Muslims tended not to keep or favour dogs."

So, as it stands, there are "no-go" zones in The Netherlands, depending on one"s definition. Perhaps Ambassador Hoekstra should have just owned up to his 2015 comments, since the coverup was - as always happens - worse than the truth.

Sharia – Canadian landlord fined $12G…

…for not taking shoes off in Muslim tenant’s home.

A Canadian landlord who was fined $12,000 for wearing shoes in a Muslim tenant’s home said he felt “humiliated” by the harsh penalty levied by a national human rights tribunal.

In an interview with the Toronto Sun, John Alabi, 52, of Brampton, recounted how he went above and beyond trying to accommodate the Egyptian-born couple who lived in the apartment for two months – just to be slapped with a steep fine for the shoe incident.

“I go beyond all that. I just see everybody as human beings like me. That’s why I took them in,” Alabi told the Toronto Sun in May. “We got along. And then all of a sudden I’m a racist?”

The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ordered Alabi in April to pay the tenants $6,000 each after he failed to take his shoes off in the bedroom were the couple prayed while he was showing the home to potential renters. The couple, who moved into first floor of the home in December 2014, terminated their lease on Feb. 28, 2015.

The tribunal also said Alabi “harassed” the couple and “created a poisoned housing environment.” Though he would give them 24-hour notice of the showing, he would often fail to provide a 5-minute warning, according to the Toronto Sun.

“I was humiliated, I was made to feel I have no rights, I was made to feel that I’m not wanted in society,” Alabi said. “I feel powerless. They rented my place for only two months. Two months! It’s just not fair.”

Alabi told the news site the couple never had an issue when he wore his shoes in the home to do repairs. Then they filed a grievance eight months after the last incident, the Toronto Sun reported.

“I have been victimized,” Alabi said. “They are using their religion to victimize me.”

Leaked Police Report Exposes 23 Muslim-Controlled "No Go Zones" In Sweden: Plagued With Violence, Sexual Assaults, & Gun Crimes

Though European leaders and their US-based counterparts have vehemently denied their existence, a leaked report from the Swedish police confirms that there are at least 23 Muslim-controlled “No-Go Zones” and some 60 “vulnerable areas” where non-muslim citizens of the country can no longer visit safely.

As noted in the RT video below, the areas are plagued with violence, sexual assaults and gun crimes, and things have gotten so bad that police and emergency services personnel refuse to enter.

According to the Swedish National Police Commissioner:

We see developments in our country which are not always going in the right direction… We have more than 60 vulnerable areas in and around major cities in Sweden.. and we see criminality there and we need to turn around these developments in those areas… and we need the assistance of other parts of our society.

Call us crazy, but maybe not allowing mass migration from countries with ideals, morals and laws that run nearly 100% counter to those of your country would be a good start?

While that may be considered racist, xenophobic and nationalistic by many “progressives” around the world, one simply can’t deny that such no-go zones are the result of forced cultural assimilation. Of course, the assimilation requirement appears to only involve the natural citizens of the countries in question, because apparently migrants can engage in any sort of activities they wish without consequence.

As one angry foreigner from Sweden previously explained, it is now taboo in Sweden (and all civilized Western countries) to take pride in one’s country and culture, noting that by doing so you are considered “racist.”

The fact is that Western and Islamic culture sit on two completely different sides of the spectrum, and while the West has welcomed millions of refugees over the last several years, the same doesn’t appear to be true for the migrants.

In Britain, for example, followers of Islam are feverishly working to build a nation within a nation, ruled by Sharia law with no regard to Britain’s legal system.

The same has been true across America. In fact, the issue is so serious that the Texas State legislature recently passed a bill that would force State courts to ignore any foreign law when deciding cases.

“My colleagues and I here at the Texas Legislature want to make sure Texas judges never apply foreign law in Texas courts in violation of constitutional rights and the public policy of our state,” said Flynn.

Under HB 45, Texas and U.S. law supersede all other laws. It prevents state judges from applying any foreign law because, in doing so, it infringes upon U.S. and Texas constitutional rights. The bill shields litigants in family law cases “against violations of constitutional rights and public policy in the application of foreign law” under the U.S. and Texas Constitutions, federal and judicial precedent, the Texas Family Code, and the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act, among other protections.

You’d think such a law wouldn’t be necessary in America, but the last few years show that the Islamization, and thus the push for Sharia Law, is happening right here and now.

Trump to send message: ‘Shariah incompatible with Constitution’

The Muslim Brotherhood’s days of influencing the United States government may be coming to an end, and experts in Islamic supremacism are pleased.

WND previously reported President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to jumpstart a bill in Congress that would ban the Muslim Brotherhood by declaring it a terrorist organization.

Walid Phares, a foreign policy adviser to Trump, says he believes Trump will support the plan to make the designation.

Philip Haney, a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security and author of “See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad,” greeted the news with hope, saying his former agency is finally returning to its initial mission.

“This is what the Department of Homeland Security was created for in the first place – to protect the American people from the threat of terrorism both foreign and domestic – so all he’s doing is following the policies of the original purpose of DHS,” Haney told WND. “This is what we were actually supposed to do clear back in 2003 when the agency was formed.”

Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and author of “Stop the Islamization of America,” also celebrated the news.

“It’s long overdue and much needed,” she said. “We can only hope that it will stop Muslim Brotherhood infiltration into the U.S. government.”

Phares made his comments while speaking to the Egyptian news outlet Youm7. He noted there is a bill in Congress designating the Brotherhood a terrorist group, but the Obama administration has been preventing its passage because Obama supports the Brotherhood and wishes to remain on friendly terms with it.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, introduced the bill in November 2015.

“We have to stop pretending that the Brotherhood are not responsible for the terrorism they advocate and finance,” Cruz said to the Washington Free Beacon at the time. “We have to see it for what it is: a key international organization dedicated to waging violent jihad.”

The bill examines the Muslim Brotherhood’s history of terrorism and shows how it is linked to three prominent American Muslim organizations: the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).

The legislation was approved by the House Judiciary Committee earlier this year and referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which has not taken action on it.

By designating the Brotherhood a terrorist organization, the U.S. would join Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Russia, which have also made that designation.

Haney believes the U.S. would be making a significant move.

“It’ll send a signal to the entire Salafi, pro-Shariah, pro-jihad Islamic world that we’re serious again about protecting our borders, and that we will do it without firing a single shot or dropping a single bomb anywhere,” Haney declared.

“And that’s very significant. We talk about peace through strength and walking softly and carrying a big stick – well, this is a good example of it.”

Haney pointed out the Muslim Brotherhood’s doctrine and practice is at odds with the U.S. Constitution. One of the Brotherhood’s mottos is “Allah is our objective; the Quran is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish.”

Said Haney: “The Muslim Brotherhood has quite plainly stated what their intentions are, so we should simply take them at their word and by designating them as a terrorist organization we’re saying that Shariah law is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution, and that might be the most important part.”
