US Hitting ISIS “Ten Times Harder?” A Big Lie!

US Hitting ISIS “Ten Times Harder?” A Big Lie! | donald-trump | Politics Propaganda War Propaganda World News

In response to Tuesday’s violent Manhattan incident, causing multiple deaths and injuries, a possible false flag, Trump lied claiming US forces responded by hitting ISIS “10 times harder,” adding:

“They will pay a big price for every attack on us!” He lied. America created and supports ISIS. It doesn’t strike its imperial foot soldiers.

No know ISIS attacks occurred against Americans – at home or abroad, nor any by other terrorist groups.

None occurred against other NATO countries, Israel, Saudi Arabia or other pro-Western regional rogue states – supporting ISIS and likeminded groups.

US-led terror-bombing in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere supports operations by ISIS and other terrorists, America’s proxy force, massacring civilians and destroying vital infrastructure instead.

In response to Trump’s remarks, Pentagon spokesman Major Adrian Rankine-Galloway lied, saying:

“We have, and we will continue to strike ISIS hard and often, along with Al-Qaeda and other affiliated or likeminded violent extremist organizations wherever they are globally.”

“We are fighting and killing ISIS in operations in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Philippines, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, the Sinai in Egypt and wherever these groups emerge.”

Fact: Just the opposite is going on. US terror-bombing supports ISIS and other terrorists in countries where Washington deploys their fighters.

Manhattan incident suspect Saipov may or may not be “an animal,” as Trump described him.

America’s killing machine is monstrous, raping and destroying one country after another, responsible for countless millions of casualties, intending endless more rampaging worldwide, making the world safe for Western monied interests and their rogue allies, nightmarish for most others.

On Friday, Trump departed for Hawaii, a stopover on his lengthy Asia-Pacific trip, visiting Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.

North Korea is the key focus, along with US hostility toward China’s growing economic might and influence, as well as its trade advantage.

Possible US war on North Korea has the world community concerned, notably China and Russia, strongly against belligerence on the peninsula.

On Friday, Pyongyang’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said US Guam-based B-1B strategic bombers “conducted a nuclear bomb simulated attack drill on major targets in North Korea” near its territory.

“The gravity of the situation” is compounded by three US aircraft carrier strike groups deployed in the Asia-Pacific, conducting joint naval exercises, Pyongyang considers a rehearsal for war on the country, KCNA adding:

“This clearly shows that the US is aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula and seeking to spark a nuclear war.”

At a Friday press briefing, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said “(w)e have heard statements to ease the tense situation on the Korean Peninsula and others which escalate tensions.”

“China hopes all parties could act and speak prudently when the situation on the peninsula is fragile and complicated.”

All relevant parties “should make more efforts to enhance mutual trust and ease tensions.”

Perhaps the die is cast, US war plans readied. Reckless remarks from and actions by Washington are eerily similar to the run-up to other American aggressive wars – demonizing an adversary for months, manipulating the public mind, justifying unjustifiable hostilities, media scoundrels going along, repeating state-sponsored propaganda.

War on North Korea would be catastrophic for the peninsula and region. Russia and China could get involved, their security threatened by regional war possibly going nuclear.

America’s military/industrial complex controls Trump, hawkish neocons in charge, escalating ongoing wars, deciding what nations to be attacked next – North Korea and Iran prime targets.

Nuclear war if launched threatens humanity, the greatest threat to life on earth.

US Evacuating ISIS Terrorists from Tal Afar

US Evacuating ISIS Terrorists from Tal Afar | isis | Government Corruption Military Special Interests War Propaganda World News

Last year, during the battle for Mosul, Washington opened a corridor to redeploy thousands of ISIS fighters cross-border to Syria.

It’s happening in Tal Afar, Iraq. According to Al Sumaria Iraqi satellite TV, citing an unnamed local source, ISIS terrorists evacuated its Tal Afar headquarters in late July, saying:

“IS has carried out emergency evacuations over the night at many of its main headquarters in Tal Afar, in west of Mosul, after some of them were targeted over the past few days, which left many of its leaders and fighters killed and injured.”

On Monday, RT said a corridor was opened, letting many of its fighters move cross-border to Syria, citing an unconfirmed report.

Press TV said for the second time in a week, a US-led coalition helicopter transferred ISIS fighters from the western outskirts of Deir Ezzor, Syria to another location on Saturday.

US-backed Syrian Democratic (terrorist) Forces aided their movement with artillery fire. Earlier in Iraq and Syria, Washington redeployed ISIS and other terrorist fighters from one location to another.

In war theaters where ISIS operates, America supports the scourge it pretends to oppose, along with al-Nusra and other terrorist groups.

These foot soldiers are deployed to locations where Washington wants them used. Russia believes al-Nusra led terrorist gangs have over 25,000 fighters in Syria, ISIS another 9,000 or more.

Unknown numbers of their fighters remain in Iraq – shifted from one location to others at Washington’s discretion, continuing forever wars in both countries, resolving them nowhere in sight.

In a new article, Peter Koenig scathed America’s agenda, now in Trump’s hands as nominal leader, saying:

“Three generals are calling the shots on Trump’s presidency. How more proof is needed for the world to see that Washington is run by the Pentagon – is a pure military-police state, with the populace stripped of 95% of their civil and human rights – by ever enhanced successive versions of the Patriot Act and related legislation? Humanity at its worst.”

“The venom and evil of our western society never stops to amaze me…The Trump administration, or any of his predecessors, couldn’t give a hoot about democracy and human rights in any of the countries they want to dominate.”

Ordinary people everywhere want peace, stability and whatever prosperity they can achieve.

Washington wants endless wars, control of world resources, dominance over all other nations, and exploitation of their people – a global dystopian nightmare if its objective is achieved.

Iraq: Occupied US Territory

Iraq: Occupied US Territory | iraqi-flag | Military Pentagon War Propaganda World News

America came to Iraq to stay, intending permanent occupation – at least as long as the country remains one of the world’s major oil producers, the curse harming its people grievously.

The Pentagon currently has numerous bases in Iraq of varying sizes – including Main Operating Bases (MOBs), smaller Forward Operation Sites (FOSs), and Cooperative Security Locations (CLSs – called lily pads, used to preposition weapons, munitions, and small troop contingents).

Weeks earlier, Trump requested congressional funding for US military base construction in Iraq and Syria.

On July 12, a White House policy statement on the FY 2018 National Defense Authorization Act expressed concern about lack of “additional requested authority for small-scale construction of temporary facilities that are necessary to meet operational needs and force protection requirements in both Iraq and Syria” – code language for US occupation of both countries.

Claiming funds are needed to continue combating ISIS conceals US support for terrorist fighters throughout the region and elsewhere.

So-called Operation Inherent Resolve was established to support ISIS and other Middle East terrorist groups – its aim to maintain Washington’s regional control, including turning Syria into a vassal state like Iraq.

According to Syrian and Lebanese media, the Pentagon has at least seven bases in northern Syria, operating illegally without Damascus permission.

Iraqi sources reported construction underway for a large US military base in the country’s Nineveh province.

Four more bases are planned to secure control over the border with Syria. Iraqi Lt. Col. Mahdi al-Khafaji said base construction began after talks between US and Iraqi forces in Mosul’s Zammar district.

US Army Corps of Engineers reportedly completed over half the work on the initial base, to be used as an area command center. US special forces and advisers are already deployed there.

It’s unclear what troop strength the Pentagon intends maintaining in Iraq and Syria. Permanent occupation is planned in both countries.

Washington has a compliant puppet in Iraq’s Haider al-Abadi.

Syria’s Bashar al-Assad calls US and other foreign forces in the country illegal invaders – wanting them out, Syria liberated from their scourge.

CNN’s ‘Exclusive’ Report on Russia Arming Taliban Debunked By Their Own Expert—Exposed as Propaganda

cnn

Atlanta, GA – In just the latest example of CNN operating as a deep state propaganda outlet, on July 25, the cable news network published a bombastic report; releasing two exclusive videos intimating that the Russian government was covertly arming the Taliban, which has returned to significant prominence in Afghanistan since the 2014 cessation of NATO combat operations.

The large-scale anti-Russia propaganda operation, meant to indoctrinate Americans into a mindset that demonizes Russia as “the enemy,” and Putin as a dictator, has been pushed en masse to the American public at a steady rate since the end of the 2016 election cycle.

The explosive CNN report, which was widely reported across the media landscape, noted that two separate groups of Taliban fighters have received “improved weaponry … that appears to have been supplied by the Russian government.” The weaponry reportedly included Kalashnikov rifles, heavy machine guns, and sniper rifles. And while many of the weapons in the video appear to be of Russian origin, there is nothing to connect the Russian government to the weapons.

While the news made headlines and was shared widely across social media — the problem is that CNN’s report has lots of bark and no bite. Aside from a flashy headline, the report provided no evidence of the Russian government providing or transferring weapons to the Taliban. This was established according to weapons experts from U.S. Special Operations Command and several non-governmental conflict arms organizations.

“I’ve watched the video and frankly can’t see anything that is particularly unusual,” James Bevan, a weapons specialist, and director of Conflict Armament Research Ltd, told Task & Purpose in an email. “There are Russian weapons, and derivatives of those weapons manufactured in other states, circulating among state and non-state groups in every country in that region.”

Advertisment

According to the report by Task and Purpose:

The weapons experts consulted by Task & Purpose identified the weapons as Kalashnikov variants that have become pervasive among irregular forces; several U.S.-made M249 Squad Automatic Weapons that fire belt-fed 5.56×45mm NATO rounds, including a mid-90s variant with a long barrel and fixed rifle stock and the lightweight MK-49 paratrooper variant with a stub barrel; the TT-30 Tokarev pistol that’s been a staple of the Russian military since the 1930s, and the Soviet-made 7.62 mm general-purpose PK machine gun that’s been in service since 1961.

None of these weapons touted by the Taliban in the CNN video appear particularly modern, and all but the M249 are regular fixtures of the illicit small arms markets that accounted for 60 percent of the weapons flowing into and out of Afghanistan in the decades leading up to the U.S.-led invasion in the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

“I suspect after years in Afghanistan, these are easy to get,” Capt. Jason Salata, said.

Additionally, the CNN report never establishes any type of chain of custody between Russia and the Taliban. Perhaps more importantly, they never noted that one of the Taliban groups had pillaged the equipment from a rival Taliban faction, while the other received a shipment of arms from across the Tajikistan border. CNN admits that the videos presented as “suggesting” a link between the Taliban and Moscow “don’t provide incontrovertible proof of the trade.”

Yet, somehow, they still attempt to stir the anti-Russia media pot and suggest the weapons could be the work of the Russian government. In reality, however, these types of weapons are readily available on the black market across the globe.

“There is nothing immediately visible to suggest the weapons are new or any indication (from the footage) that they are all of the same type and origin,” according to Bevan. “Governments that supply rebel and insurgent forces rarely supply new weapons and frequently refrain from supplying their own weapons stocks. This makes any connection between the manufacturing country and the supplier country problematic.”

Thus the CNN report, which notes that the weaponry appears “stripped of any means of identifying their origin,” essentially relies on the claims of a few Taliban members as the basis for the entire report.

“Unfortunately, CNN did not fully profile erased markings and other efforts to sanitize the weapons,” Bevan added. “This would be a clear indication of organized, state involvement, but also would be unlikely to incriminate any party without further evidence.”

In typical propaganda fashion, every arms expert in the CNN story was a Pentagon or Afghan government official, except for Benjamin King from the Small Arms Survey independent research group, who bluntly told CNN that the photos and videos he was given to analyze contained virtually no evidence of a recent arms transfer, let alone being able to attribute it to a specific state – such as Russia.

“[CNN] made some jumps that you certainly can’t make from the weapons themselves,” King told Task & Purpose. “I certainly wouldn’t have made the claim that they were new imports. The generic Tokarev pistols and PK machine guns are old and could have been there for a long time. One of the rifles was an AK-74, so it could have been there for the last 40 years or so.”

Of course, the U.S. military need only look in the mirror should they want to understand the flow of foreign armaments into Afghanistan, as a declassified Pentagon audit from 2016 revealed that almost half of the 1.5 million firearms supplied to the Iraqi and Afghani military, including almost 1 million M4 and M16s, have turned up ‘missing’ due to shoddy record keeping and regulations.

Even more damning, in 2014, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction released a report that found that nearly 43% of arms provided to the Afghan National Security Forces likely ended up in the hands of ISIS or the Taliban.

In just the past few weeks, American and Afghan military personnel have faced off with modern weaponry and equipment in enemy hands. Afghan security forces are increasingly facing off against Taliban fighters armed with M4 carbines outfitted with night vision, infrared laser sights and Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight scopes, according to a July 25 report in the Military Times.

Additionally, a recent propaganda video released by the Taliban appeared to show an FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) 7.62mm rifle decked out with a AN/PEQ 5 visible laser, which was likely procured during an ambush or raid on a weapons depot.

“Afghanistan is swimming in guns,” King told Task & Purpose. “These things are expected to show up everywhere.”

Many of these weapons are not Russian made, but instead, are usually deployed by Western militaries — and, like everything else in Afghanistan, they end up in Taliban hands sooner rather than later.

But CNN’s report conveniently fails to mention any of this, and attempts to prop up the demonization campaign against Russia, as a likely pretext to gain public support in the methodical and ongoing movement towards a direct conflict with the Russia.

Sanitizing the Killing Fields of Mosul

Sanitizing the Killing Fields of Mosul | Mosul-13 | War Propaganda World News

The smell of rotting corpses pervades the city. Over 40,000 civilians were ruthlessly massacred, mostly by US terror-bombing – discussed in a previous article.

The city resembles a moonscape, few signs of life visible anywhere. Civilians able to get out are displaced refugees, largely on their own to survive – their homes, possessions and futures destroyed.

Tens of thousands of others are buried under rubble. Mosul is an open-air graveyard, one of many examples of US viciousness, what imperialism is all about – a rage for wealth, power and dominance no matter the human cost.

Contrast a sanitized NYT report with a candid one by Professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi after visiting the city and witnessing the devastation firsthand.

The Times: Iraqi “Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi…congratulat(ed) (the nation’s) armed forces for wresting the city from the Islamic State (ISIS).”

The Times admitted months of battle left the city in ruins, killing thousands, displacing around a million of its residents.

Its report stressed triumph over genocidal mass slaughter and destruction. It said nothing about indiscriminate US terror-bombing, nothing about Washington’s support for ISIS and likeminded terrorist groups.

It was silent about Ali Arkady’s firsthand reporting and photographic evidence of torture, abuse and cold-blooded murder of Iraqi military captives, civilians suspected of ISIS ties.

Embedded in an elite Iraqi interior ministry emergency response division, Arkady witnessed brutal interrogations to obtain forced confessions from suspected ISIS captives or sympathizers.

He later fled the country, taking his photographic and video evidence with him, exposing the brutality of regime practices – installed by Washington to serve its interests.

The Times quoted Abadi saying he came to Mosul “to announce its liberation and congratulate the armed forces and Iraqi people on this victory.”

Mosul was raped and destroyed, not liberated, the horror ongoing for months largely ignored by Western media, devastation and human suffering mostly suppressed – including horrific crimes of war and against humanity committed by US and Iraqi forces.

Marandi explained what The Times and other media scoundrels failed to report. Interviewed by RT International, he said “(t)he city is almost empty.”

“The devastation across the city, and it’s the second-most important city in Iraq, is extraordinary.”

“Those we spoke to were all seemed very pleased for the city to have been retaken, but they all said the American airstrikes were very devastating and very hurtful to ordinary people, and many civilians were killed.”

Marandi discussed Western media coverage of Aleppo last year and Mosul, saying:

“We also visited Aleppo after the liberation as well, and what was very interesting, or very unfortunate, was the devastation of East Aleppo, which was occupied by al-Qaeda in Syria, was very similar to the devastation we saw in West Mosul.”

“The bombing by the Americans destroyed so much of the west side of the city, yet the Western media said almost nothing about it.”

During the aerial and ground campaign to liberate Aleppo from US-supported al-Nusra terrorists, Russian and Syrian forces made extraordinary efforts to avoid or minimize civilian casualties – polar opposite how US and Iraqi forces operated in Mosul.

Western media wrongfully claimed Russian and Syrian forces indiscriminately targeted civilian areas. They ignored US terror-bombing of Mosul. The double standard needs no further elaboration.

Moscow established humanitarian corridors for Aleppo residents to leave the city. It provided vital humanitarian aid. America, other Western nations and the UN supplied nothing.

Marandi: “Iraqis have been saying all this devastation since Saddam Hussein (was toppled) and up to now, the United States is to blame more than anyone else because they supported” him for many years.

America “create(d) ISIS, alongside the Saudis and unfortunately the Turkish government and the Qataris.”

“They funded the extremist groups as we know from the defense agency documents of 2012, and also the WikiLeaks documents which show that Hillary Clinton knew that in 2014, the Saudis and the Qataris were helping ISIS.”

“So the Iraqi people are very much aware of what’s going on, and they believe for over forty years of devastation, the United States more than anyone is to blame, alongside its regional allies.”

America’s imperial ruthlessness bears full responsibility for the rape and destruction of Iraq, Syria, and many other countries.

Its diabolical agenda is humanity’s greatest threat.

Trump Wants Funding for Iraq and Syria Bases

Trump Wants Funding for Iraq and Syria Bases | us-military-base | Military Sleuth Journal Trump War Propaganda World News [image: theatlantic.com]US combat forces came to both countries to stay – flagrantly illegal in Syria, likely approved by pro-Western puppet rule in Iraq, devastating for the people of both countries.

US Operation Inherent Resolve was established to support ISIS and other terrorist groups, not combat the former as claimed. According to its commander General Stephen Townsend:

“The Iraqi government has expressed an interest in having the US forces and coalition forces remain after the defeat of ISIS. Our government is equally interested in that.”

Bashar al-Assad calls US forces in Syria “invaders,” supporting death squads recruited from scores of nations, not combating them, he’s stressed. He, his government, and Syrian people want uninvited foreign forces out of the country.

Earlier, CENTCOM commander General Joseph Votel said US forces will remain in Syria after the battle for Raqqa is over – on the phony pretext of stabilizing the region.

Washington wants northern Syrian territory territory occupied, along with other areas it’s able to gain control over – a scheme risking direct confrontation with Russia and Damascus.

Trump wants congressional funding for US military bases in Iraq and Syria. On July 12, a White House policy statement on the FY 2018 National Defense Authorization Act expressed concern about lack of “additional requested authority for small-scale construction of temporary facilities that are necessary to meet operational needs and force protection requirements in both Iraq and Syria” – code language for intended US occupation of both countries.

Claiming funds are needed to continue combating ISIS conceals US support for all terrorists operating in both countries.

Endless wars in Iraq and Syria continue because of America’s presence and use of imported death squads as imperial foot soldiers.

Defense Secretary Mattis claiming Washington “wants to win the peace, stabilize the region and militarily pressure Iran” is false on points one and two, outrageously true on Iran.

Longstanding US policy, complicit with Israel, calls for regime change in Damascus and Tehran, pro-Western puppet rule replacing their legitimate governments.

All ongoing US wars reflect naked aggression against sovereign independent countries threatening no one. Iran is high on America’s target list.

Reportedly the Trump administration intends expanding US involvement in Libya, raped and destroyed by Obama and Hillary in 2011, the nation a cauldron of endless violence and chaos.

Greater US involvement would make already nightmarish conditions worse. Reported Pentagon plans involve establishing a permanent US military presence in the country to assure US control.

America’s belligerent presence abroad is nightmarish for affected countries. Wherever it goes militarily, mass slaughter and destruction follow.

US Plans Permanent Iraq Occupation

US Plans Permanent Iraq Occupation | us-soldier-iraq | War Propaganda World News [image: Warrick Page/Getty Images]In early May, Trump and US-installed puppet Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi discussed keeping US troops in the country after the battle of Mosul ends.

Talks involved Defense Secretary Mattis and other Iraqi officials on how America’s permanent presence would affect the country.

An understanding was reached short of finalizing how things will work. Washington’s goal is preventing Russian influence in Iraq, along with assuring Big Oil profits from its oil.

Washington began raping and destroying Iraq during the Carter years. Its people suffered horrifically because of US imperial lawlessness – for 37 nightmarish years, millions of lives lost in the process.

It’s unclear what force-strength Washington intends maintaining in the country. Its sovereignty will never be regained or people liberated as US occupation continues.

At least 7,000 US troops are currently are deployed to Iraq. It’s in America’s interest, not Baghdad’s, to keep them there, maybe thousands more coming.

Mattis said US involvement will continue after its Mosul operation ends – America to remain “decisively engaged in Iraq and the region,” he stressed.

Joint Chiefs Chairman General Joseph Dunford agreed, saying US troops will remain in the country “for years to come.”

Permanent occupation is planned – similar to what Washington intends for Afghanistan and Syria. Pentagon spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis said Trump “delegated the authority for force management levels in” in all three countries to Defense Secretary Mattis.

Separately, Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve commanding General Stephen Townsend said he expects America’s military presence will remain in Iraq once the battle of Mosul ends.

America’s months-long campaign wasn’t about defeating ISIS. Most of its fighters were redeployed to Syria, perhaps to be sent back to Iraq or elsewhere if Mattis and Pentagon commanders want another pretext for greater US military involvement in any country they have in mind.

America’s plans for permanent occupation of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria assure forever wars continuing with no end of fighting as far ahead as US dark forces want things this way – a nightmarish scenario for its people.

Syrian Army Gains Control of Jordanian and Iraq Border Areas

Syrian Army Gains Control of Jordanian and Iraq Border Areas | syria1 | World News (image: © AP Photo/ Raad Adayle)

On Friday, the Syrian Army, along with allied forces, announced it reached Iraqi border areas northeast of al-Tanf – taking control after eliminating pockets of terrorist fighters in the area.

Commander of Russian forces in Syria General Sergey Surovikin said “(t)he offensive along the western bank of the Euphrates is gaining momentum in the northeast of the Aleppo province.”

“Units of the Syrian armed forces and people’s militia have driven out militants of ISIL from…Maskanah, Ramtan, Shatna and approached the city of Tabqa.”

“They have gained control of the Jira airport, which has strategic importance.” In the last month alone, Russian warplanes carried out 1,268 sorties, destroying 3,200 terrorist facilities.

Government forces are advancing in other areas, including the eastern Qalamoun mountains and strategic heights near Palmyra, expanding safe zones around the Damascus/Palmyra highway and Tiyas airbase.

Control over the Shaer gas field was established, along with Syria’s border with Jordan, a major accomplishment.

It closes off an avenue for US-backed terrorists to enter southern Syria through the Hashemite Kingdom, complicit with Washington’s aggression on the Syrian Arab Republic.

General Surovikin announced what happened, saying “(a)s part of the advance of the Syrian army and militia on Daesh’s positions, control over 105 kilometers of the Syrian-Jordanian border has been restored.”

“The efforts of government forces on establishing full control over the Syrian-Jordanian border and the border with Iraq continue.”

A day earlier article quoted Surovikin, saying US-led coalition forces are undermining anti-terrorism operations by “striking the Syrian military (and) allowing IS militants to leave encircled areas unhindered.”

“The coalition air forces and the (terrorists they support, masquerading as moderate rebels) blocked the way of the government forces, tasked with defeating (ISIS).”

“This is a violation of the sovereign right of Syria to protect it borders.” It’s a flagrant breach of international law.

Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are on the side of the angels, aiding Syrian forces combat terrorism – America and its rogue allies their enemies, supporting the scourge they claim to oppose.

Washington Tries to Hide Its Failure in Mosul

Washington Tries to Hide Its Failure in Mosul | mideast-iraq-mosul | Military Pentagon War Propaganda World News (image: AP)

By: Anna Jaunger, Syria Media Center |

For the past months, Washington has faced the urgent need to distract the world’s attention from its devastating failure in Mosul in order to hide the huge number of casualties among the local population. Perhaps, this became one of the main reasons for carrying out a new full-scale campaign to topple and discredit Bashar Assad.

However, every effort that is being made by the U.S. to hide its failures, in fact, is futile. The ‘counter-terrorist’ operation in the Iraqi Mosul has been going on for more than 6 months. According to the Pentagon, the number of losses among the coalition forces has already reached at least 9,000 military personnel and 1,600 units of military equipment. Of course, we must admit that the overwhelming majority of casualties are among the Iraqi military. But we should not forget that the Iraqi soldiers are led by generals of the international coalition. Thus, all the losses during the assault of Mosul are the result of U.S. direct command.

It’s not a secret that the U.S. indiscriminant air strikes lead to a daily increasing number of civilian casualties. Considering the fact that all this is happening under the patronage of the United States, the natural question arises – how effective is Washington in fighting terrorism, if it can’t minimize the losses among civilians?

An example of such a destructive activity of the coalition led by the United States is the air strike blown at Mosul western regions last week. This was stated by the Iraqi Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday. The human rights organization reported the deaths of dozens of civilians. Subsequently, it called the coalition on to “plan strikes more precisely to avoid civilian casualties.”

In addition, according to the Associated Press, the coordinator of the UN humanitarian mission Liz Grande said that the destruction in the western part of Mosul is two and a half times more than there is in the eastern part of the city. This indicates that the coalition forces do not take into consideration the fact that Mosul still has civilians and the coalition does not want to minimize losses and scale of destruction.
Obviously, Washington is ready to use any means to mislead the general public. This can be attributed to the recent completely fabricated incident in the Syrian village of Khan Sheikhun, and the subsequent Syrian government air base Shayrat attack by the US Air Force. Such actions allow the White House to get away from undesirable questions concerning their failures in Mosul.
