Trump Wants Kushner and Ivanka Out of Washington

Trump Wants Kushner and Ivanka Out of Washington | ivanka-kushner-1024x580 | Politics Trump

According to Vanity Fair, citing two unnamed Republicans, Trump is “frustrated with (son-in-law Jared) Kushner’s political advice in his capacity of senior advisor to the president, including his encouragement to back losing Alabama GOP candidate Luther Strange and to fire FBI Director James Comey, which Kushner denies.”

Trump urged Kushner and daughter Ivanka (first daughter and advisor to the president) to return to New York, “pressuring them to go,” according to an unnamed source.

He wants them out of the White House spotlight to avoid negative news coverage. They’re being investigated as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s witch-hunt Russiagate probe.

Reportedly, Trump told Ivanka: “Baby, you’re getting killed. This is a bad idea,” other White House staffers witnessing his comment, according to Vanity Fair.

Kushner’s influence is waning, Vanity Fair saying White House chief of staff John Kelly “clipped his wings” – under a system he instituted, requiring everyone go through him to see the president, including family members for official business.

Kelly reportedly was angered over Kushner’s trip to Saudi Arabia, meeting with crown prince Muhammad bin Salman (MBS) days before his power grad, arresting hundreds of princes, ministers and business figures, making it appear the White House involved with orchestrating what happened.

In June, MBS ousted his predecessor, gaining control over Riyadh’s military, security and economic portfolios, becoming crown prince, the next Saudi king when his father steps down, expected any time because of his age and ill-health.

Trump expressed approval of MBS’ power grab, tweeting: “I have great confidence in King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, they know exactly what they are doing.”

“Some of those they are harshly treating have been ‘milking’ their country for years!”

Reportedly, Kushner and Ivanka are steering clear of chief of staff Kelly as much as possible since he established control over White House operations, including scheduling and daily activities.

According to knowledgeable legal experts, Kushner failed to list all foreign contacts he’s had on his national security clearance forms, nor a full account of his financial holdings and dealings.

Washington is no place for anyone wishing to maintain a low profile – nor New York for prominent figures like Trump and his family members since he entered the presidential sweepstakes.

Since elected, he’s been hounded by media scoundrels more than any other US president in memory, Kushner and Ivanka taking their share of criticism.

According to Vanity Fair, quoting an unnamed source close to the Trumps, Kushner and Ivanka are “in a world of s..t.”

He may seem cool, but he’s sweating, and she’s like her father. She’ll never acknowledge it and (will) blame the media. But she’s been working on her reputation forever, and now it’s going to suffer horrifically. And for what?”

Life in the Washington fishbowl has lots of minuses when things don’t go as planned and media coverage is negative.

Maxine Waters Acts The Fool Lambasting Ivanka At G20, Chelsea Clinton

Content originally published at iBankCoin.com

During last week"s G20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany, Ivanka Trump "briefly" sat in for her father during a meeting with global leaders on African migration and health.

The 35 year former businesswoman and fashion model sat at the table with Xi Jinping, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Angela Merkel, and Theresa May.

A spokesman for Ivanka Trump told Bloomberg that she had been sitting in the back of the room and then briefly joined the main table when the president stepped out of the meeting.

Naturally, the left freaked out.

The current administration"s detractors quickly got to work denouncing the sit-in as nepotism, attacking Ivanka"s credentials.

Maxine Waters told MSNBC: "It does not make good sense. Here you have the president of the United States at the G20, representing us as the leader of the free world, and so he’s going to play politics and give his daughter a chance to have a place in the sun and to be seen at a very important meeting that she knows nothing about.

She cannot in any way deal with those members who are there representing those countries. She doesn’t know anything about these issues.”

Wow - so a woman represents the United States at the G20 on African migration and health issues and the left, which is full of so-called feminists, can"t stand it...

Meanwhile, Merkel"s got Ivanka"s back

Angela Merkel commented on Ivanka"s presence during the meeting, stating: “The delegations themselves decide, should the president not be present for a meeting, who will then take over and sit in the chair...

Ivanka Trump was part and parcel of the American delegation so that is something that other delegations also do. It’s very well known that she works at the White House and is also engaged in certain initiatives.”

Trump then mentions Chelsea Clinton

Enter Chelsea

In response to Trump"s Tweet, Chelsea Clinton added to her enormous pile of embarrassing Twitter moments with an attempt at humor that, once again, revealed what an utter moron she is.

Despite being besties with Ivanka, the former first daughter took a pot shot at President Trump.

Of course it wouldn"t occur to them to have you sit in Chelsea - you"re an idiot!

If the rumors are true, Chelsea"s run for congress in 2018 is going to be amazing to witness.

Priebus, Bannon, Spicer Could Be Fired

(ZHEIn a report by Axios this morning, citing White House sources, President Trump is reportedly considering a “huge reboot” of his core staff and cabinet members that could lead to the termination of everyone from Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon, to counsel Don McGahn and press secretary Sean Spicer: “He’s frustrated, and angry at everyone.”

According to Axios, the conversations intensified this week as the fallout from the Comey firing “pushed the White House from chaos into crisis” and notes that Trump’s friends are telling him that many of his top aides don’t know how to work with him, pointing out that “his approval ratings aren’t rising, but the leaks are.” As a result the advice he’s getting is to “go big — that he has nothing to lose,” the confidant said. “The question now is how big and how bold. I’m not sure he knows the answer to that yet.”

Additionally, Trump reportedly feels he has been “ill-served” by several of his Cabinet officials.

Trump has two complaints about Cabinet members: Either they’re tooting their own horns too much, or they’re insufficiently effusive in praising him as a brilliant diplomat, etc. Among the cross-currents:

Under threat are some of his key economic and domestic policy advisors, including:

  • Wilbur Ross took what was perceived as a victory lap on a China trade announcement that does little new in actuality.

  • Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a big announcement about increasing prison sentences, at the same time that Jared is working on criminal-justice reform.

  • HHS Secretary Tom Price shares the blame for the glacial pace of health-care legislation.

Axios notes three caveats:

  • i) no Cabinet member is expected to “go this soon”, even though a West Wing shuffle looks likely. “One obstacle to recruiting new top aides is finding people who would have real clout with a president not prone to enforced order”;

  • ii) it could be just Trump venting: “Trump often talks about firing people when things go south and does not follow through on it. So it’s possible these conversations are his way of venting, and seeking reassurance”

  • iii) any internal moves could take a while: “Trump heads out on his first international trip at the end of the week. Also, there’s an internal argument for minimizing drama by cutting people out of the information flow rather than firing them.”

In all, it appears that virtually everyone is in danger of losing their jobs, except for the core cadre of ex-Goldman advisors who have now effectively taken over Trump’s “circle of trust.” One other official winning Trump’s approval is Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who will be on “Meet The Press” this morning defending his boss.

While a major cabinet shakeup is possible, another major problem emerges, however: if Trump does purge Priebus and Bannon, gutting the core of his inner circle, what would be left is “a straight line of mid-30s family members with scant governing experience: Jared and Ivanka. So while the fighting and leaking might ease, the problems may not because it’s the president, not the staff, calling the shots.

In other words, Trump may unleash a firing spree, and shift the blame for the fallout from last week’s turbulent events to his top advisors, but once the internal purge is complete, it will be only Trump – and his immedite family members – left to take the blame… and there are still 3 years and 8 months left.

Ivanka Trump Gets West Wing Office, Access To 'Classified Information'

Despite holding no official title, President Trump"s 35-year-old daughter Ivanka is reportedly getting an office (and access to classified information and a government-issued phone) in the White House West Wing, stepping up her highly visible role in helping advise her father.

Reuters reports that a White House official on Monday confirmed reports that Trump"s daughter would be getting her own West Wing space, as well as access to classified information and a government-issued phone.

She is not expected to have an official title and will not be paid a salary.

Ivanka Trump will be joining her husband, Jared Kushner, who is a chief adviser to the president and is a regular presence at his father-in-law"s side.

When Kushner"s job was announced earlier this year, aides said Ivanka would not take on a role in her father"s White House but would focus on settling her family in Washington.

Since then, she has been a frequent behind-the-scenes adviser. Last Friday, she sat next to visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel when Merkel visited the White House.

We are sure this "access to classified information" will become a brief media narrative (all eyes still on Gorsuch and Comey) as Democrats raise "conflict of interest" concerns, even though Ivanka has divested her "Ivanka Trump" brand into a trust.

Ivanka Trump's Fashion Line Reports Record Sales After Retailer Boycotts

The Ivanka Trump boycott appears to have backfired.

One month after several brand name retailers announced they would no longer carry the 35-year-old’s clothing and accessories, Ivanka Trump’s women’s fashion line has seen record February sales.

The collection said they had some of the highest performing weeks since the brand was launched last month. “Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand,” Abigail Klem, the company"s new president, told Refinery 29. “For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand’s] best performance ever.”

E-commerce aggregator Lyst confirmed the report, stating that from January to February, Ivanka Trump sales increased 346%. It also found  that February 2017 brand sales had increased by 557 per cent when compared to average orders in 2016. The brand was ranked as no 11 in sales on Lyst for the month of February, a sharp increase from no 550 in January.

“Ivanka Trump brand has never ranked in as a top seller on our site,” Sarah Tanner, Lyst"s US public relations director, said. “To see such an extreme spike in one month is completely unheard of and came as a huge surprise to us.”

The news of a sales surge comes after the Grab Your Wallet campaign, highly critical of the Trump administration, asked shoppers to boycott retailers with any Ivanka or Donald Trump-branded products. As a result, Nordstrom announced in early February that it would no longer carry Ivanka Trump"s clothing line citing poor product sales. Neiman Marcus also joined, and stopped carrying the first daughter"s jewelry line on its website, while employees of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores were instructed to throw away any signage advertising her wares.

According to the Independent, the reason for the increase could be linked to Trump supporters explicitly deciding to purchase the products to counter the boycott.  "I bought a pair of her shoes, they are great and classy just like Ivanka trump. Boycott all stores that drop her line," said one person on Twitter. "On behalf of the anti Trumper"s and boycott Trump products . I Bought Ivanka Handbag. Shoes tomorrow," chipped in another.

In retrospect, the boycott may have revived what otherwise would have been a declining brand. In the beginning of February, the Wall Street Journal reported that sales of the range fell by nearly a third in the past financial year with a steep decline in the weeks before her father was elected President. The Journal cited internal Nordstrom data as showing sales of the products were more than 70 per cent lower in the second, third and fourth week of October compared to the same weeks the previous year. The presidential election was on 8 November.

Ivanka Trump announced in January she would be taking formal leave of absence from the brand after her father became president, saying she would “no longer be involved with the management or operations” of the company.

Ethics counselors advised that the company cease using images of Ivanka Trump in “new promotional, advertising, or marketing materials,” according to the profile piece on Klem. The guidance apparently doesn’t impact existing marketing materials, such as the company’s website. "It"s unprecedented what this brand is dealing with,” said Klem. “We are really committed to having the brand be separate, even from [Ivanka], so certainly her dad is even more distant from that. We"re committed to doing everything we can to carve an identity for this brand that is about what the brand stands for and the core brand attributes. And so absolutely, it complicated matters.”

For now, at least, what is clear is that attempts to punish Trump"s daughter by hyping it up constantly in the press have backfired.

#GrabYourWallet Wins! Nordstrom Cuts Ties with Ivanka Trump's Clothing Line

Because they believe Trump to be the second or third coming of Hitler (if you recall, Bush was Hitler too), the folks over at Grab Your Wallet have pursued anyone who did business with the Trump family -- as a form of political persecution to punish those even remotely affiliated with the Trump brand. Look, they even went through the trouble of slapping a rudimentary spreadsheet together, so that fellow minded snowflakes might protest with their, err, wallets.

To that end, it appears they"re activism worked. Nordstrom has announced they"re officially cutting ties with the Ivanka brand -- citing poor sales as the reason for the "de-stocking."

"Each year we cut about 10% [of brands carried] and refresh our assortment with about the same amount," a Nordstrom spokesperson told Business Insider. "In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season."

The founders of Grab Your Wallet, Shannon Coulter and Sue Atencio (they met on Twitter), are quite pleased with this news. Coulter said, "I am absolutely thrilled, and I know the vast majority of Grab Your Wallet participants will be as well."

Indeed.

The cucked Coulter has bee meticulously tracking the availability of Ivanka"s brand, wherever it"s sold. The fashion website "Racked" chronicled Coulter"s journey in an article published this evening -- to celebrate the apex of Coulter"s success -- the rueful malevolence towards another human being for the sole purpose of making another person suffer.

This could very well be some lag time before its spring inventory. But Coulter has been keeping track of the number of Ivanka Trump items the 116-year-old Seattle-based retailer is selling on its site, and the merchandise has been on a decline: From December 2 to December 27th, the number dropped from 71 products to 48. As of January 11th, Nordstrom was selling 43 products, but by January 29th, it was down to 26, according to Coulter’s calculation. (The Macy’s site, on the other hand, has 90 items listed, all with deep discounts.)

As of today, February 2nd, Nordstrom is down to four items. On the Ivanka Trump website, the items from outfits posted four days ago that link out to Nordstrom are no longer available on the site.

That said, stores are still selling the label; a Racked editor who visited a Nordstrom location in White Plains, New York, last Sunday confirms there were plenty of Ivanka Trump shoes in store.

The #GrabYourWallet was started by Coulter and Sue Atencio, a woman she met on Twitter. The duo felt hesitant to shop at retailers that carried Trump family-related products, and when they spoke about it on Twitter, they were met with tons of similar feelings. They started a Google spreadsheet, and the list has since been moved to its own website, GrabYourWallet.org.

The boycott list now includes many major department stores, including Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and Lord & Taylor, as well as HSN, Century 21, Overstock.com, and DSW. Each retailer is listed with an explanation as to why it’s being boycotted.

“What this boycott means to me is that companies that I love, like Nordstrom and Amazon, are making money from the Donald Trump campaign, which to me is synonymous with hate and divisiveness so I can’t, in good faith, shop there anymore,” Coulter told Racked back in November. “People aren’t boycotting them to punish them or ruin any businesses. They want to support these companies but can’t do so in good conscience.”

The Ivanka Trump line was included in the boycott, Coulter added, because “she made her father palatable to many young female voters, and her being on the campaign trail, and returning to campaign with him after the Trump tapes, has as much to do with her ambitions as it has to do with her father’s.” (Ivanka formally left her namesake label earlier last month, after her husband, Jared Kushner, took the position of senior White House adviser.)

If Nordstrom is, indeed, dropping the Ivanka Trump label, it won’t be the only retailer to heed to the boycott. In November, Shoes.com told Coulter via Twitter it was dropping the line. There will likely be backlash-to-the-backlash, as evident when L.L. Bean was boycotted by anti-Trump shoppers, then Trump encouraged his fans to buy L.L. Bean as a result.

But this would be a big win for #GrabYourWallet. Coulter says that on January 21st, participants voted that Nordstrom was the most boycott-able company on the list; based off a poll that had 249 participants, Nordstrom was ranked number one, Coulter says, because “that’s the store they’d most like to be able to shop again.”

The tolerant left.

All is not doom and gloom for Ivanka, however.  According to G3"s 2016 annual statement,  ticker $GIII,  the manufacturer and distributor of Ivanka"s clothing line, the brand is doing quite well -- enjoying a $29.4m bump in sales to $100m.

"Initially, when her father started to run for President, I wondered if there"d be a negative or positive effect," said Sammy Aaron, vice chairman of G-iii, who oversees the Ivanka Trump brand at the company as well as being CEO of its Calvin Klein division. "We"ve really seen very little effect."

Source: Forbes
That it"s already seeing revenues of $100 million a year is impressive. "You have designers who do less than that," Stone said. By way of comparison, sales of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen"s high-end line The Row are reportedly closer to $50 million -- itself a high estimate, per an insider. And while some celebrities have little involvement in their licensed brand beyond the approval process, Ivanka Trump is hands-on.

Ivanka is "very involved on a weekly basis" in all stages of the design process, said Aaron, who described her as "one of the most impressive young women" he"s ever met.

"She"s super sensitive to things with her name on it," he said. "She"s not one of these names just looking for revenues. She"s an assertive person who has definitive taste and a definitive opinion."

It sounds like Ivanka will survive the scourge of the Twitterati army of Grab Your Wallet miscreants.

Friday Humor: Hillary Catches Bill Staring At Ivanka

While there is no proof that Bill is indeed ogling Ivanka Trump as this viral clip alleges, judging by Hillary"s reaction (and Bill"s stoic avoidance of Hillary), it is hardly that far fetched. In any case, it"s been a long week, it"s Friday, and its funny: what difference does it make if this is a "fake clip."

Chuck Todd Excoriates Buzzfeed's Editor in Chief: 'YOU PUBLISHED FAKE NEWS'

Democrat shill, Chuck Todd, cannibalized the liberal media tonight by ripping into the Editor in Chief of Buzzfeed, Ben Smith, for publishing a 35 page dossier of laughable content, such as germaphobe Trump having Russian hookers urinate on him, or an irate Donald yelling at Ivanka to respond to her mother, whilst devouring a plate of chicken tenders, saying that if she didn"t her Mother would perish in a horrible accident.
img_6070

Over the past day, all of the actors involved in leaking the "dossier" to the public have been discredited and humiliated -- from John McCain to the CIA and of course  to the Buzzfeed reporter, Rick "I"m a spy" Wilson -- who published the trite piece of offal -- hoping it would derail Trump"s presidency and give solace to the cadre of his fellow Never Trumpsters, who"ve been waiting for the opportunity to discredit and rid themselves of his orangeness.

Unfortunately, for him and his ilk, there are consequences to publishing lies about the President elect of the United States, especially when done in a manner that garnered world wide exposure, galvanizing all of the snowflakes to unite and form into a maniacal Snow Demon set out to devour and crush President elect Donald J. Trump.

Once again, The Donald has proved to be resilient, admonishing his enemies , taking a flame thrower to them -- effectively reducing them to a small, sad, pond of liberal misery to be pissed upon whenever he"s in the mood for golden showers.

Todd eats Smith.

Unruly Jet Blue Passenger Kicked Off Plane For "Accosting" Ivanka Trump - "Your Father Is Ruining The Country"

According to reports from TMZ, an unruly Jet Blue passenger has been kicked off a plane this morning after "accosting" Ivanka Trump and "verbally berating her and "jeering" at her 3 kids."

Ivanka, Jared and their 3 children were departing from JFK when the out-of-control passenger apparently took issue with the fact they decided to fly commercial, and coach class at that...

"Your father is ruining the country."

"Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private."

Ivanka

Moments before the encounter happened, apparently Matthew Lasner, a professor at Hunter College, decided to tweet the following about his husband (Lasner"s twitter account has since been deleted):

That"s probably not something you should just be openly admitting publicly.

Jet Blue has since released the following statement about the incident:

"The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."

So a Trump supporter goes on a tirade on a Delta flight and gets a life time ban while this person openly admits to "harassing" Ivanka, in front of her three children no less, and has to suffer the inconvenience of being moved to the next available flight?  Seems reasonable.
