Sean Hannity Goes Nuclear on GOP Obstructionists for Not Acting on Trump’s Agenda

On his radio show this afternoon, Sean Hannity chimped out and called out republican shills who"ve been obstructing President Trump"s agenda by twiddling their thumbs and not writing bills to fund infrastructure projects, tax cuts and healthcare reform.

Essentially, Trump is at the mercy of a very corrupt and globalist shilling GOP -- led by a man (Paul Ryan) who is as vacuous as his democratic counterparts.

Hannity promised to call them out, one by one, and to make their phones ring non-stop if they didn"t get off their asses and start working for the American people.

Epic takedown.

Trump Splits With 'Senior Advisor' Former CIA Chief Woolsey

Trouble in paradise? Following his comments earlier in the week that it was not just the Russians (but China and Iran maybe) that hacked US and that Trump "may be playing us," former CIA Director James Woolsey has parted ways with the president-elect and will no longer be a Senior Advisor.

Woolsey did not appear to be toeing the company-line completely...

As we noted previously, The Hill reports, Woolsey, who was a senior advisor to President-elect Donald Trump, said:

"I don’t think people ought to say they know for sure there’s only one. I don’t think they’re likely to be proven correct. It shouldn’t be portrayed as one guilty party,"

“It’s much more complicated than that. This is not an organized operation that is hacking into a target. It’s more like a bunch of jackals at the carcass of an antelope.”

Woolsey suggested China and Iran could be behind cyber breaches in the U.S.

“Is it Russian? Probably some,” he said. "Is it Chinese and Iranian? Maybe. We may find out more from Mr. Trump coming up today.”

This follows Trump"s comments on Sunday hinting he would reveal new information about alleged Russian hacking during a New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla.

“[I know] things that other people don’t know,” he said. "I just want them to be sure because it’s a pretty serious charge. I think it’s unfair if they don’t know.”

To which Woolsey contentiously also commented:

"There’s a possibility that he is [playing us] a little bit."

But as is clear, Woolsey"s belief that the Russians "were in there" still goes further than what Trump has said about the hacks... which may be why Woolsey has announced in a formal statement

"Effective immediately, Ambassador Woolsey is no longer a Senior Adviser to President-elect Trump or the transition," Woolsey"s spokesman, Jonathan Franks, wrote in a statement that was first reported by CNN"s Jeremy Diamond.

"He wishes the President-elect and his Administration great success in their time in office."

Furthermore, The Washington Post"s Philip Rucker reports, Woolsey resigned after being cut out of intelligence talks with Trump and his national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

Trump Blasts New York Times' "Highly Inaccurate Coverage Of Trump Phenomena"

As we observed yesterday, with the liberal media cannibalizing itself in the aftermath of the Trump victory culminating with a scathing indictiment by MSNBC"s Joe Scarborough, leading to an unprecedented letter from NYT publisher Arthur Sulzberger in which he vowed the New York Times would “reflect” on its coverage of this year’s election, as it "rededicates" itself to reporting on “America and the world” honestly", this morning president-elect Trump rubbed salt in the NYT"s wounds, when he blasted The New York Times in an Sunday morning tweet, targeting the paper"s coverage of the "Trump phenomenoa."

Trump called the newspaper"s coverage "very poor" and "highly inaccurate."

While Trump is set to tell "60 Minutes" in an interview airing Sunday evening that he would be restrained on Twitter as president, this tweet probably snuck through the crack.

This morning the Times" web site is leading with an article entitled, "Trump Hires to Set Course of Presidency" in which the newspaper said his "inner circle includes a clash of visions."

Today"s tweet culminates Trump"s recurring, frequent criticism of the NYT"s coverage of his campaign through the primaries and general election.

Defenders of the NYT used the Trump tweet to voice their support for the newspaper, saying they would renew their subscriptions for the media outlet which last quarter saw a nearly 20% plunge in ad revenue.

Bezos Congratulates Trump One Year After Offering To Send Him In Space; Amazon Tumbles

How quickly things change, especially when one"s nemesis goes from the butt of all political jokes (just as the HuffPo), to the 45th American president.

The animosity between Jeff Bezos, owner of the Washington Post, and Donald Trump is no secret.  As the Seattle Times wrote overnight in a timely article asking "how Amazon will fare" under president Trump, "Donald Trump seems to have no love for Amazon.com’s CEO Jeff Bezos, who also owns the Washington Post, a newspaper that aggressively investigated the candidate during a no-holds barred campaign."

Trump also once said that Amazon, which dominates e-commerce, has a “huge antitrust problem,” given that the company “is controlling so much of what they’re doing.

Last December, the feud between the two billionaires spilled over on Twitter, where after being targeted by Trump, Bezos famously offered to send Trump in space.

Perhaps in retrospect, realizing that tens of billions of his paper wealth could be wiped out with a stroke of Trump"s pen, Bezos decided to address the simmering issue. As a reminder, Bezos built an empire based, in part, on Internet sales of goodies that stem from the overseas factories that Trump has said have stolen American jobs.

Jon a reminder, when it comes to Amazin, free trade fills the company’s sails, as it builds a planetary network of warehouses, transportation and profitable data centers that are turning it into a truly global store. At the end of 2015, more than a third of Amazon’s physical footprint was in countries other than the U.S., and about 32 percent of its retail sales were made overseas. Trump has railed against the trade deals that facilitate some of that commerce, saying they’re not advantageous enough to the U.S. Investors started to sniff danger, sending Amazon shares lower yesterday even as the wider stock market soared to all time highs.

And while analysts speculate that Trump would not go so far as to take his personal vendetta as far as crushing Amazon, Bezos decided to take no chances and moments ago, Bezos tweeted "Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump. I for one give him my most open mind and wish him great success in his service to the country."

We await to see if the new mellower, calmer, president-elect Trump will be willing to make amends, and unburn Amazonian bridges. At least as of this moment, the market has its doubts as AMZN stock has promptly tumbled after the tweet, reading weakness in Bezos" words.
