Postal Service Suspended In Swedish "No-Go" Zone Because It's "Not Safe"

Last night we noted that, rather than help police arresting a suspect in Friday"s horrendous terrorist attack in Stockholm, migrant residents of the suburb of Rinkeby apparently decided instead to pelt the arresting officers with rocks.  Of course, the incident was just one more example of the unintended consequences of Sweden"s "open border" policies and a direct contradiction of arguments from senior Swedish officials that would suggest that the influx of migrants hasn"t made towns like Rinkeby any less safe.

That said, less than 24 hours later, the Swedish postal service has been forced to suspend service to Rinkeby after declaring the area "unsafe" for workers.  So if the no-go zones in Sweden are simply "fake news", as the mainstream media would suggest, perhaps they should give the "all clear" to Rinkeby"s postal workers who are refusing to even go outside.

Here is more on the situation from MITTI:

The reason is that it is not considered safe for postal staff to deliver the mail at some locations in the area.

It"s been messy in the area and therefore a protective stop to ensure the safety of our staff, says Maria Ibsen, press officer at PostNord.

She says that they currently do not know how long the protective stop will continue. But the dialogue with several parties and hope to be able to solve.

Björn Schenholm, property manager at Einar Mattsson, who manage the properties in Hjulsta, estimates that about 120 households affected by the stoppage.

Of course, we don"t suspect you"ll read about this service interruption from any MSM outlets as they"re too busy fulfilling their obligations to suppress "inconvenient" facts that may hinder their pro-globalist agendas.

That said, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven did tell a Swedish news agency that he was "frustrated" by the news that last week"s terrorist attack was carried out by a migrant who wasn"t even supposed to be in the country.  It"s a small admission but the first step is admitting you have a problem.

Swedish Police Pelted With Rocks While Arresting Terror Suspect In Migrant "No-Go Zone"

On Friday, Sweden became the latest European target of terrorism after a man plowed a hijacked beer delivery truck into a crowd in central Stockholm, killing five people and wounding more than a dozen (we covered the situation here:  "Swedish Police In Manhunt For Terrorist Truck Driver Who Killed Five").

And while such attacks typically tend to unify populations in the common goal of hunting down, capturing and punishing the responsible assailants, that sense of camaraderie apparently doesn"t apply in Sweden"s so-called "no-go zones" which have become home to 1,000"s of migrants flooding into Europe from Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East and Africa.

According to the Daily Mail, rather than help police arresting a suspect in Friday"s horrendous attack, migrant residents of the suburb of Rinkeby apparently decided instead to pelt the arresting officers with rocks.

Police officers responding to the Stockholm terror atrocity were attacked by a gang of youths who pelted them with stones last night, Swedish policemen have said.

The attack happened last night near Rinkeby, part of the "immigrant no-go zone" that gained notoriety when President Trump referred to it in a controversial speech in February.

It is thought that the officers were taking part in an operation to arrest a 17-year-old and his mother at an address linked to the 39-year-old prime suspect.

Meanwhile the attack was confirmed by Abdallah Ahmed via social media:

"During the night my colleagues were exposed to stone throwing in [the suburb of] Tensta, in the middle of an ongoing terror operation.

"Some people will never learn," Abdallah Ahmed, a police officer, said in a social media post.

"To terror I want to say one thing, in pure Swedish: go to hell. My thoughts go to those affected in every way."

Sweden

Of course, Rinkeby is the Swedish town that drew international attention back in February after Trump highlighted it as a prime example of the unintended consequences of allowing 100,000s of migrants to flow into Europe.  In light of Trump"s comments, independent journalist Tim Pool decided to head to Stockholm for a first-hand look at the "crime-ridden migrant suburb" of Rinkeby.  Unfortunately, upon arrival Pool didn"t get to do much investigating before arousing the suspicion of a couple of masked men who proceeded to follow him through the streets eventually leading to his prompt police escort out of the city out of fear for his crew"s safety.

Pool sent out the following tweets about the incident saying that around 2:30 in the afternoon "several men started masking up" and following his crew which prompted the police to escort his team out of town with the warning that “it would get really dangerous if we don’t leave Rinkeby.”

This "60 Minutes" crew got a similarly "warm welcome" from a couple of migrants when they visited Sweden on February 19th with the express goal of discrediting Trump"s comments.

Swedes Begin Construction Of Police Fortress In "Little Mogadishu"

Rinkeby is a suburban housing estate near Stockholm, where the Swedish welfare state keeps a large number of unassimilated migrants. 90% of the population is non-Swedish and many of these are Somalians given to crime and rioting.

Some may remember it from the riots confirming President Trump"s fears about Sweden...

In June 2010, Rinkeby was the scene of riots and attacks against the local police station and Rinkeby is the region in which the "60 Minutes" crew were attacked in 2016.

The problems Sweden faces integrating large numbers of Muslim immigrants is a subject on which Nordstjernan columnist Ulf Nilson has written many times. His warnings of increasing radicalization among Sweden’s Muslims – warnings he started to broadcast a decade ago – now seem eerily prophetic in light of an Associated Press investigation that found Stockholm to be a breeding ground for jihadists among Swedish Somalis.

According to the AP report, which first ran Jan. 24, an al-Qaida-linked group is busy recruiting anti-government fighters among Somali youths living in Rinkeby. A suburb of Stockholm, Rinkeby has earned the nickname of “Little Mogadishu” because of the number of Somalis living there. Rinkeby is also the center of the recruiting efforts of al-Shabab, a group with ties to al-Qaida.

Rinkeby is a known problem area in Stockholm. It was here NRK journalist Anders Magnus was attacked with stones last spring, and here the police never go in the evenings without reinforcements from other patrols according to Dabladet.

As Alt-Right-News reports, in 2014, they had to close down the police station, as it had originally been built for an all-Swedish community, where the main job of policemen is to look for lost pets and help old ladies cross the street.

The new police station, which is being built under heavy security and is scheduled to open in 2019, will cost over $40 million construction costs in addition to an annual rental cost of $1.6 million. The security cost for the actual construction is unknown. It is planned that 250 personnel will work there in the community of around 15,000 people. This is a ratio of one cop to 60 residents (for comparison Chicagohas one cop to 270 residents).

The police station will feature bullet proof windows, walls reinforced with sheet metal, and fencing around it, possibly with electrified barbed wire. So it will look more like a military installation than anything. Also it will be designated as "specially protected," which means a year in prison for anyone even throwing a stone at it.

But there are problems with the police station, as none of the largely White police working there will actually live in the community and will have to commute it. This being Sweden, a disproportionate number will also be women. This raises several problems that would not be issues elsewhere. Police officers are worried about vandalism to their private cars so refuse to drive in, while using public transport is considered too dangerous, especially for female officers.

"Those who will be working in Rinkeby do not want to use public transport and take the subway," Local Police Area Manager Niclas Andersson told the press.

"It"s too dangerous. One suggestion is secure parking for the private cars of police personnel. Another is that the police will be driven to and from work."

A secure parking area for the private cars of police personnel can not be added without greatly inflating the already high cost of the facility, so it looks like police personnel will have to be bussed in at the start of each shift in a specially reinforced police bus with darkened windows.

This is what multiculturalism looks like, folks, and the costs are enormous.

U.S. Journalist Investigating "Migrant Crime" In Sweden Has To Leave Under "Police Escort" For His Own Safety

After Trump called attention to the rising tide of migrant crime in Sweden last week, independent journalist Tim Pool decided to head to Stockholm for a first-hand look at the "crime-ridden migrant suburb" of Rinkeby.

Journalist Emily Molli, who is traveling with Pool, claimed the pair asked police if they could interview a local but were told it would just lead to trouble.

This latest incident follows rioting and looting that erupted in Rinkeby last month after police reportedly arrested a wanted person at a metro station. Several cars were burned out and a police officer and a press photographer were injured in the disturbances.

Of course, as we noted last week, this "60 Minutes" crew got a similarly "warm welcome" from a couple of migrants when they visited Sweden on February 19th...

Meanwhile, after being ridiculed by the mainstream media for his comments on migrant crime in Sweden, with each passing day, it"s looking increasingly like Trump was right once again...

"It Looks Like A War Zone": Trump Vindicated After Violent Riot Erupts In Swedish Suburb

As we reported last night, just days after the media mocked Trump for his allegations of major problems with Swedish migrant policies, the president was vindicated after a violent riot broke out in the borough of Rinkeby, also known as "little Mogadishu." Now that the incident is over, in their "post-mortem" Swedish officials confirm that riots erupted in the "heavily immigrant Stockholm suburb" Monday night, as masked looters set cars ablaze and threw rocks at cops, injuring one police officer, Swedish officials said.

The violence erupted just days after President Trump was ridiculed during a Saturday campaign rally for mentioning Sweden alongside a list of European targets of terror. Trump later said his “You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden” remark was in response to a Fox News report on the country’s refugee crime crisis that aired on Friday evening.

"Sweden. They took in large numbers [of refugees],” Trump added at the Florida rally. “They’re having problems like they never thought possible.”

Sweden’s official Twitter account – which is operated by a different user each week – tweeted at Trump on Monday morning: “Hey Don, this is @Sweden speaking! It’s nice of you to care, really, but don’t fall for the hype. Facts: We’re OK!”

Events just hours later refuted that optimistic assessment.

The violence in Rinkeby began around 8 p.m., when officers arrested a suspect at an underground station on drug charges, The Local reported. A group soon gathered, hurling rocks and other objects at officers and prompting one cop to fire his gun “in a situation that demanded he use his firearm,” police spokesman Lars Bystrom said.

Hours later, the Rinkeby riots began, with a second wave starting around 10:30 p.m. Seven or eight cars were set on fire and many stores saw looting, The Local reported. A photographer from media outlet Dagens Nyheter said a group of 15 people beat him as he tried to document the chaos. Swedish Police were forced to fire warning shots at the unidentified group of rioting protesters, who set cars on fire, throwing stones at police and looting local stores.

A police officer was injured during the clashes, forcing law enforcers to fire several warning shots at the crowd, Swedish public service broadcaster SVT reported, citing a local police spokesperson.

The silver lining is that “nobody has been found injured at the scene and we have checked the hospitals and there hasn’t been anyone with what could be gunshot wounds,” Bystrom added.

“I was hit with a lot of punches and kicks both to my body and my head. I have spent the night in hospital,” said the photographer, who was not named. "It looks like a war zone" he added.

The rioting ended just after midnight.

No arrests were made; however, reports were filed on three violent acts, violence against a police officer, two assaults, vandalism and aggravated thefts, authorities said.

Firefighters survey the scene in the suburb of Rinkeby where riots erupted on Monday night.

As we reported last night, Rinkeby is the same area where an Australian "60 Minutes" crew was attacked by a group of men in April 2016. The film crew was attempting to enter a so-called “no go zone,” which authorities deny they use as a label. Rinkeby, however, has been officially classified as one of 15 “particularly vulnerable” areas across Sweden.

The country"s prime minister, Stefan Lofven, said Monday, "Yes, we have challenges like all other countries. There"s no doubt. We have a situation in the world where 65 million people had to flee their countries last year, the year before that. 65 million. So that"s a war for us together." He also said Sweden was investing more in housing, technology and its welfare system.

Reports of rapes in Sweden jumped 13 percent in 2016 compared to the previous year, and reports of sexual assaults were up 20 percent, according to preliminary data from the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention. Recent migration to Sweden hit its peak in 2015 with more than 160,000 asylum applications. It dropped to almost 30,000 in 2016.

The mainstream media, so eager to mock Trump"s "error" on Saturday, has been oddly delayed in reporting on last night"s Swedish violence.

Meanwhile, Rioting Breaks Out In Sweden

It would appear the mainstream media (along with several celebrities and Swedish politicians) is going to be apologizing to President Trump once again.

Having spent the entire new cycle trying to ignore the immigrant crisis facing Sweden, and pin the ignorant tail on Trump, both Dagbladet and Expressen reports riots breaking out in the highly immigrant concentrated Stockholdm borough of Rinkeby, Sweden with police firing warning shots as 100s of young people throw stones and burn cars.

During the evening hundreds of young people gathered in the center of Rinkeby, well known for its high concentration of immigrants and people with immigrant ancestry.

Rinkeby is a known problem area in Stockholm. It was here NRK journalist Anders Magnus was attacked with stones last spring, and here the police never go in the evenings without reinforcements from other patrols according to Dabladet. A freelancer the newspaper spoke to, described the situation as serious.

"I"ve been in some turmoil, but this is something extra. It looks like a war zone here", he was quoted as saying .

Freelance Photographer Janne Åkesson has also been at the site Monday night and early Tuesday. "They threw stones at police and police fired warning shots. I got out when it was at its worst" he said to Dagbladet. He added that there were many youths with hoods and hats on.

"It was very chaotic. I have seen much in Rinkeby: they burn cars all the time - unfortunately this was beyond the ordinary."

As Expressen reports (via Google Translate):

The alarm came to the police at 20:18 on Monday evening. A police patrol should then have been in the area for disposing of a wanted person.

In connection with this began several people at the subway throwing stones at police.

There appeared a number of young people threw stones at the police patrol. I do not know how many it concerned, but there will be several people anyway, says Lars Bystrom, spokesperson at the Stockholm police, told Expressen TV.

Police patrol on the site must have felt so constricted that they were forced to fire warning shots in connection with the stoning. The police will then have withdrawn from the location.

Photos of the site, one can see how many cars are on fire, and emergency services are on site to extinguish them.

7-8 cars have been burned in the area. We move back and forth, it never stands still at such incidents but we have good resources in place, says Lars Bystrom.

According to information are about the emergency services have requested reinforcements from Sollentuna and Brännkyrka.

At 22:20 the police attacked a second time by the youth gang. It was about a planned, concerted attack where the young people rushed towards the police and threw stones.

A police officer was hit by a stone on his arm, but it is unclear how seriously injured he was. Police headlining the event as assaulting a police officer and rioting. No person should even have been arrested in connection with the stoning.

Police EMS Units have been blocked from entering...
