Draining The Swamp – Part XII – ESPN, NFL, Hollywood

ESPN, the erstwhile sports broadcast company turned Social Justice Warriors, (SJW), will be laying off 100 more employees, as their subscribers continue to dwindle, and their viewership plummets. I guess there aren’t enough SJWs rushing to watch ESPN to keep them afloat, as the losses continue to mount. Disney, the parent company of ESPN is doing nothing to reign in the SJWs at ESPN, so the stockholders of Disney will be hurt, but not the Executive salaries.

Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans NFL franchise is having difficulty selling a 33% stake in the franchise. It seems no one trusts that the NFL will grow long term. (Hint: It’s fan base is shrinking.) Why, one might ask, would anyone want to invest in a football league that won’t tell its players to play football, not SJWs? Why would fans want to have anything to do with a sport that insults their anthem, their country and their intelligence?

As for Hollywood. As the Christian Post reports:

Kevin Spacey continues to suffer the consequences of the sexual assault allegations against him. This time, the veteran actor was cut from Ridley Scott’s “All the Money in the World” just weeks prior to its release and will be replaced by Christopher Plummer.

According to the director’s publicist Simon Halls, Scott will reshoot the entirety of the disgraced actor’s scenes using Plummer. The 87-year-old actor will replace Spacey in the role of billionaire J Paul Getty in the film that tells the true story of the kidnapping of Getty’s grandson in 1973, and the oil tycoon’s initial refusal to pay a ransom.

You could say Spacey’s career is now over. Harvey Weinstein is not the only one to have his career ended in this ongoing period of accusations and revelations. There will be more.

Moving on to the Podesta brothers, the newly appointed CEO of the Podesta Group, the lobbying company the two brothers started and which Tony Podesta recently resigned from, Kimberley Fritts is leaving to launch her own firm. I guess she realized the ship is sinking. Smart move, Kimberley!

Louis C. K. a comedian, (I personally have never heard of him), has had 5 women accuse him of sexual misconduct. His new movie was scheduled to be released soon, but has been withdrawn, and other appearances have been canceled. Yet another pervert, swamp creature has been exposed.
