The Clinton Foundation pulled in hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions from foreign entities and individuals, as well as from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation.
Charles Ortel has been looking into the Clinton Foundation and has found some of the necessary papers relating to non-profit organizations were either never filed, or filed incorrectly. The Clinton Foundation has exceeded its Charter on many different levels as a result. Non-profit corporations are regulated by the IRS, to ensure they follow the rules. It is no surprise to me that Lois (I Plead The Fifth) Lerner ran the IRS during the years the Clinton Foundation went off the tracks and did not do due diligence in her duties, thus giving a free pass to the Clinton Foundation.
Ortel has also looked closely at the IRS filings from the Clinton Foundation, and found them to be sorely lacking in credibility, as the auditing firm, like Lois Lerner at the IRS, seems to have completely ignored its duties and filed audits that are ridiculously inept, to put it mildly.
Lois Lerner went after conservative groups, like the Tea Party groups, but gave a free pass to the Clinton Foundation. No wonder she pleaded the fifth. We need a truly independent investigation of the Clinton Foundation and, where appropriate, charges need to be brought. The Clintons are not above the law, nor is their foundation.
