President Donald Trump will be in Harrisburg on Saturday to mark his 100th day in office, hosting an event in the New Holland Arena at the Farm Show & Expo Center. Anti-Trump protesters and other organizations are planning a march and a protest to coincide with his appearance.
Last night I met with a group in Maryland that calls itself Patriots Picket. They are a group dedicated to defense of the Bill of Rights and will be heading to Harrisburg to rally and defend free speech. These Patriots and the other members of the free speech rally will encounter an organized protest that will be accompanied by local Antifa members.
I know that many of our members and associates will be heading to Harrisburg for the rally. I highly encourage you to seek out the members of Patriots Picket and introduce yourself as an Oath Keeper. To find them, look for these signs:
As always, I know our members will look out for the safety of peaceful rally participants and defenders of free speech. Please feel free to contact me via Signal if you need assistance locating them (I have their cell numbers) or if you are concerned about the actions of the local police to ensure a safe event for all participants. Oath Keepers has developed a good relationship with the police in Pennsylvania. We have the upmost respect for their abilities. With that said, I would be happy to place a few calls to local police leadership should our members find that additional security measures would be beneficial.
The Antifa and protesters plan to meet at 5PM at the softball field in front of the Dept. of Agriculture building on Cameron Street. From there, they intend to start their march to toward the free speech rally area at 6PM starting at the intersection of 7th and Forster. The march will proceed north on 7th Street toward the Farm Show. Feel free to pay them a friendly visit to show our colors.
