An overwhelming amount of Americans believe there is, in fact, a deep state
(INTELLIHUB) — According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll, 48% of people believe a deep state, i.e. shadow government, exists.
The poll was based on the following question:
Q: There’s been talk of what some people call a “deep state,” meaning military, intelligence and government officials who try to secretly manipulate government policy. Do you think there is such a thing as a deep state in this country, or is it just a conspiracy theory? IF THINK THERE IS A DEEP STATE: Do you think the existence of a deep state is a major problem for the United States, a minor problem, or not a problem?
