Pension funds, yup. They need an implosion of biblical proportions as a pretense to turn 401(k)s into national annuities, er, ahem, "guranteed retirement accounts". Thus the "fiduciary rule" . . .market implosion and sad-sack narratives that follow, looky at poor Ms. Betty Jones, lost half her retirement in the market crash . . . but her 401(K) advisor made money! (Cue Elizabeth "Vyshinsky" Warren) We need a retirement system that works for everyone! We"ll put your 401(K) someplace where it will be safe . . .don"t worry, you will retire "comfortably". . .
