9/11 remembrance: POTUS and FLOTUS observe moment of silence

WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — President Donald Trump along with the First Lady Melania and others gathered at the White House Monday morning where they took a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks which occurred 16-years ago.

After the ceremony, President Trump spoke about how “our whole world changed” when that first plane struck the tower.

“This was an attack on civilians,” the President said. “Innocent men, women, and children who’s lives were taken so needlessly.”

A total of “2,977 innocent souls […] were murdered by terrorists […] on that terrible, terrible day,” he said.
