The Philadelphia Police Department did an outstanding job today managing an enormous crowd of protesters. Police Commissioner Ross could be seen at key locations throughout area during the President’s visit overseeing the security of the event.

The Philadelphia Anti-Fascist Group had planned a march to demonstrate their disapproval of the President, however it was met with an escort from Philadelphia’s finest to ensure that no Black-Bloc tactics were employed. Some protesters were searched for weapons and at least one protester dressed all in black was relieved of M80s, a hammer, pipes, lighter and a lighter fluid pack.
