Bill Clinton, a globalist of the first order, gave a speech before the Brookings Institute, which is a globalist think tank of the first order. In his speech, Clinton decried nationalism, saying resurgent nationalist views are “taking us to the edge of our destruction.” It is not surprising he should say this, being the globalist that he is. He also warned against so-called us-versus-them thinking, arguing that the “whole history of humankind is basically the definition of who is us and who is them.” Of course he would never admit that the Hillary campaign, and the leftist/globalist smear campaign activated by the Trump victory was/is a purely us versus them attempt at dividing the nation into two camps.
This was Bill Clinton’s first public appearance since the election, and it is no surprise he chose the comfort of the Brookings Institute as his venue. It is also no surprise that he continues to promote the globalist mantra, while taking veiled swipes at Trump, without naming him. Personally, I could care less what Bill Clinton has to say. If he is to be the lead voice for promoting globalism, then the globalists are in deep trouble.
