The Day Liberty Died

The USS Liberty was attacked by Israeli planes and and gunboats on June 8, 1967. Few Americans are aware of the unprovoked attack, as it was immediately covered up by the Johnson administration. 34 sailors lost their lives that day, and over 100 were injured, yet the crew was threatened with court-martial, or worse, if they told anyone of the attack. The attack, by unmarked planes and boats appears to have been an attempt by the Israelis to stage a False Flag incident in order to blame the attack on Egypt, and to get the US to retaliate against Egypt for the attack.

After decades of coverup, the truth of that attack has finally emerged. Those responsible for the attack and coverup are now long dead, so no one can be prosecuted for their roles. As is usually the case, the truth concerning False Flags is a long time in emerging. Still, it has emerged, and the reputations of those involved has been tarnished, which is small consolation for those killed and injured in this brazen attack.
