Magic Mushroom Legalization Gets Nod to Move Toward California Ballot

A bill to legalize magic mushrooms received the green light in California to move forward with gathering signatures as California’s attorney general just approved a “circulating title and summary” that allows organizers to gather voter endorsements, LA Weekly reported. “We’re very excited,” Kevin P. Saunders, a candidate for mayor in Marina, who co-authored the state initiative said. “We see this as a civil rights issue.”
